Alright, I’ve been holding this inside for years but I’m finally gonna say it.

Misako haters are actually fucking annoying at this point.

They always were to me, but now, they’re just OBJECTIVELY an annoyance. And they need to STOP.

They take literally ANY chance to slander her, even when it’s completely unwarranted. Like, I’d just look at a picture of her on Pinterest, and there’d be multiple comments going "the world’s worst mother". Or I’d see content about Koko and there’d always be comments comparing her and Misako and going like "Koko way better fuck Misako".

I’d even see a fucking meme and people would slander Misako. Like they couldn’t resist.

And that’s not even mentioning his people constantly make her seem way worse than she actually is. Im not gonna quote everything, but basically they act like she never does good things for Lloyd. That she doesn’t care about him at all! And it’s just- so WILDY out of character!! And it’s the same vice versa! I saw a funny Ninjago video the other day with a "your mom" joke and someone in the comments was like "jokes on you, Lloyd would never call Misako mom". I’m just?????? Yes he DOES????? ALL THE TIME???

People just act like their relationship is nonexistent! Like they don’t care about each other, or that Misako doesn’t care about Lloyd! Which is OBVIOUSLY not true!

People claim that she disappears every other season but the only seasons she was absent in are 12 and 13. Also, she has a job. She goes on expeditions. Obviously she’s not there 100% of the time. And she and Lloyd clearly spend time together off screen.

People don’t even acknowledge the reason why she left in the first place. They act like she dropped him off at a boarding school and dipped to take a vaycay. She was literally trying to stop her husband and son from having to fight to the death. You ever think about that? You ever think about how SHE felt in the situation? With her husband being consumed by evil and later being banished, and learning that he and their son would have to fight each other? She was HORRIFIED and GRIEVING! Ultimately she did it to save her family. It doesn’t make leaving Lloyd right but it’s understandable.

But apparently not to almost all of the fandom.

Most of y’all, completely ignore that, and everything else that came after season 2.

Misako constantly being worried about Lloyd in Tournament of Elements and Possession.

Both of them spending Day of the Departed together.

Her getting/building the Destiny’s Shadow as a birthday gift for Lloyd.

How she supported, fought beside, and risked her life for Lloyd in Hunted.

How she wanted to stay and fight with him during MoTO but only went inside because Lloyd urged her to protect the civilians.

Not to mention just their general interactions. THEY’RE ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE EACH OTHER!!! Do you know how many times they hug?!

And this dialogue here:

"Mooom, we've-we've talked about this-"

WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED?!

Lloyd and Misako have a good, healthy and loving relationship. Misako has long since made up for her mistake and they’ve moved on.

Yet THE FANDOM REFUSES TO!!!

EVERYONE, TO THIS DAY, STILL TREATS HER LIKE THE FUCKING DEVIL!!!

I CAN’T EVEN COUNT THE NUMBER OF TIMES PEOPLE HAVE HAD OVERDRAMATIC TANTRUMS FROM HER JUST EXISTING.

Look, she’s not perfect. Obviously. She fucked up. But who in this series hasn’t? She came back, and she’s made sure to be a better mother to Lloyd. He forgave her, and they have a good relationship now. They’re close.

She wouldn’t be as hated if the writers didn’t do her dirty. Her introduction wasn’t handled the best, and having her and Lloyd have a more in depth discussion would’ve made the reunion and forgiveness feel less rushed and forced. That love triangle with Wu and Garmadon certainly didn’t do her any favors either. 😑

Regardless, her character’s gotten better over the seasons. Again, she and Lloyd and close and have a good relationship.

But hardly anyone acknowledges that, almost everyone in the fandom hyper fixates on that one mistake from years ago. They don’t pay attention to anything else. Like how she’s a better mother, or how she’s just a generally good person.

You aren’t supposed to judge characters or irl people solely on their past mistakes. Especially when they’ve already made up for them. Thats why the "Misako’s a horrible mother" statement is always bullshit to me.

Seriously, Misako’s been a part of Lloyd’s life longer than she’s been absent from it at this point.

The amount of passionate, unforgiving hate she gets is so undeserved and over the top. Too many people are projecting their own issues onto her. Or just being plain hateful. It’s not fair to define her entire character on a single mistake that she’s long made up for.

And it’s definitely not fair to people that actually like Misako. Often times on the few positive posts about her, there’d be Misako haters in the notes or reblogs complaining about her or insulting her, or just stating they hate her but love the content. And that is completely uncool and rude. It’s so unnecessary. You don’t do that, that’s so shitty. The again Misako haters have a habit of spouting unnecessary hate. Like it’s a terminal condition they have.

So, please, for the love of god, COOL IT. Stop and think, try to ACTUALLY look at her character without the veil of blind hatred.

If you still dislike or hate her, fine! But if you’re gonna detest her, at least hate her as she is and don’t make her worse than she actually is to justify hating her more.

And PLEASE stop bashing her at every turn, it’s annoying, upsetting, unwarranted, unnecessary, and just not good.

i hope that in the wake of predstrogen/predesterone's back-to-back deletion we don't forget about the ongoing building wave of seemingly organic transmisogyny from the userbase leading up to it, some of which may or may not have been the result of terf psyops but all of which certainly wouldn't have been possible without the eager participation of a significant proportion of users, including but probably not limited to:

the copypasted anons sent to several trans women (many of whom were lesbians) sexually harassing them and threatening corrective rape for calling out the aforementioned bullshit

people on this website are so incredibly hostile to trans women even being able to name our own oppression, let alone resist it in any concrete way. and i know it's not just this website. don't you get tired of the crab bucket bullshit? holy fucking shit.

like, i've been lucky, i've overwhelmingly managed to dodge it (probably on account of frankly being a pretty boring and inconsistent poster). this time last year, i was actually bored that i didn't have anons in my inbox to argue with. but i've seen it happen to so many other women now, it's absurd. even if it never hits you personally, you can never shake the awareness that it's happening to so many of the cool girls on here, people you like and whose posts you laugh at and who you look up to. they just kinda seem to drop like flies over time. don't you get tired?

Genshin Sagau Idea

I'm not entirely sure if this has been known before (i'm falling behind in my genshin sagau reading, sobbing) but you know how the reader is considered as the "Creator" and all that? So I was thinking...

That during the hunt, Reader figures out how to make their OCs (or, in general, characters) come to real life and aid them. Just imagine all the possibilities! If Reader can actually create characters in Sagau Imposter AU, this makes it a whole lot more challenging for the characters to a) catch Reader and b) trust the imposter on the throne. They all know that these OCs were never seen before, so where are they coming from? The imposter certainly couldn't have created them, they attack the characters on sight or just act straight up hostile!

Though I feel like this is a little bit too OP, so I'll place a few restrictions that I think might make it a bit more interesting:

✦ Reader can only make up to 3 characters at a time. Just to prevent Reader for making like- an army in less than 30 seconds- Oh, and what would happen if Reader would make more than 3? Well, the 4th would malfunction, and Reader may feel a great backlash of some sort. It's only after Reader claims their throne that all characters can co-exist without a limit. This is because the throne is known as the Creator's Throne, the throne they made once they finished creating Teyvat. It's long forgotten and abandoned before the Imposter took its seat.

✦ Each character can only have one element/main power that they rely on for the most part. Said-powers cannot be manipulation to light, shadows, time, etc., just to prevent OP characters. The character has to have a basic key of one of Genshin Impact elements. For example, Reader could make OC #1 have powers to control rain. This is allowed because it's focused around the basic key of hydro. If the Reader wishes to use another element because they want OC #1 to turn that rain into a storm, it is allowed, because they will need either anemo or electro. However, Reader cannot give OC #1 both anemo and electro with their current hydro. Reader can only give another basic key element to thus make it OC #1's element: storm manipulation. (In a way, think of it as Andrius. The dude is known for the cold winds, and that's a combo of cryo and anemo.)

✦ Each character must have a well-built/decently enough of a backstory in order for it to function. This includes the basics of personality, like "honest," "caring," "Sly," etc. They can also have their own kind of quirks, but as long as the basics of the character's personality and their backstory are created, Reader doesn't need to fully focus on the more unique parts at the very moment. What would happen if Reader tries to make a character with not enough basic backstory or personality? They act like rag dolls. Sure, Reader's made them, and they gave them powers, but they need their own personality and backstory in order to function. People are based off of memories, which extends to their personality, favorite things, etc.

✦ Once killed, Reader is unable to revive said-character until they reclaim their throne, once and for all. Yes, the characters can die! They can be killed if they are not careful, so the Reader needs to make sure their 3 characters don't immediately throw themselves into danger, especially if Reader is already emotionally attached to said-character(s). If a character does die, they will stay as a dead corpse until they are cremated, which they will then turn into golden and silver dust. If Reader had already made up to 3 characters and one of them dies, Reader can make a new OC on their team. The reason why I said "until" is because I would feel kinda bad just killing off one of my own OCs, so until Reader can reclaim their title as "creator" and throw the imposter off their throne, the character stays dead.

✦ Reader cannot make duplicates of the same character. This ties with the previous one. Say OC #1 dies in a battle to let the Reader escape, OC #2 & #3 following them to protect them. Reader cannot make a duplicate to replace OC #1. They have to make another character entirely. Thus OC #4 exists. Reader can make twin OCs, however, they will occupy two slots of their 3 Character team.

I have a feeling once Reader reclaims their title as the Creator, their OCs will be called something like "The Divine Legion" or smth lol. It would be very interesting to see though!

Hello to my favorite bitches, long time no see! Ready for a classic mejigay gossip sesh?

If you were anything like me, you started a Tumblr blog about visual kei very young (I've posted about vk on this blog since I was 16) and now you're an adult. MEJIBRAY broke up around 6 years ago now I think right? I am now 24, have a masters degree and planning on moving to Japan in spring. Crazy how time flies right.

Let's refresh our minds a little bit okay? Now I'm assuming you remember everything from those 6-ish years ago. The MEJIBRAY label/contract issue with Tsuzuku and Koichi, Tsuzuku's borderline disorder, the refusal to do encores during the last tour, the charcoal face paint and the result of it all which was 8p-sb. If you want a recap on that specific semi-disbandment drama there's plenty of posts that I made about it while it was happening so feel free to check it out! (keep in mind I was like 18 and very dramatic writing those posts lol) There's also this great summary from a redditor in the comment section here

The same redditor even filled me in on stuff I felt out of the loop about in their reply to the OP. I know 8p-sb is gone and Koichi does Trembling Bambi solo stuff while Genki (Tsuzuku) is a vocal coach, is in the band 30 seconds certain victory, and revives VanessA occasionally. But this has also happened:

Yeah what the fuck Koichi? Now, I do remember starting that yakuza theory here on Tumblr back in the MEJIBRAY semi-disbanding days. I read it on tanuki and told y'all about it and got soooo much shit for it at the time lol. Looks like Koichi kind of confirmed the theory! (take that rude anons in my asks back then lmao). However, Koichi staying in the same industry he claims is rotten and run by the yakuza is definitely weird. Why talk all high and mighty while benefitting from it one may ask. Either way, for those wondering what Koichi is up to, there's your answer and an explanation to why he got backlash. About the VanessA stuff, one can conclude that our favorite duo, Genki and Koichi, doesn't seem to be that involved with each other anymore.

I would also like to take time to talk about Genki's well being, as some of you might know he has a youtube channel in Japanese. From my so-so Japanese skills I can still keep up with a lot of what he's saying. Good news, he's doing better now than the MEJIBRAY days from the looks of it. In this video he talked about how the photo from the MEJIBRAY days was him being unwell and the picture to the right is him feeling much better!

(TW for this paragraph: self harm) In another video he talked about various topics/gave advice such as about self harm/cutting and how it annoys him when people say he shouldn't hurt the body his parents gave to him. He thinks that's an incorrect way to tell someone to stop cutting and seems in general to be very open to talk about this topic while smiling and not getting angered. So he seemed very stable, mature and content to me.

What about Meto/Yutaro? Well, he seems to be a happy chef! As for MiA... I've seen him hang out with hosts like Roland and in general seems to live that bougie life. Roland is a top host who aims for the prince vibe just like MiA, and is open about his plastic surgeries just like MiA. Now let's get into a really recent topic about Mia!

Just like me, you might still follow our MEJIBRAY boys on various social medias. And just like me, you might have seen MiA's picture where he chews a bone. "Huh, weird" you might have thought as you scrolled past it. Well here I am, resurrecting this blog once again, just to tell you that the bone is MiA's fucking ribcage bone. I ain't posting that picture, find it yourself cause it's gross.

As MiA poses in the same costumes from his MEJIBRAY days and posts them on Instagram, you'd think his life and social media posts were a bit mundane. Then, a fucking picture of him chewing a thick ass bone pops up. The bone in question was taken out during a ribcage surgery, that MiA claims was done in order for him to create a custom guitar with his BONE INFUSED into it. Yeah I know. What???

In general you could either see it as him being a massive attention hungry person, or as unhinged and putting his life in danger. Bone surgeries are very harmful and anyone with two working eyes can see his shaved jawline bone already. So adding a removed ribcage bone to that... It's dangerous.

A trans comedian is receiving praise from mainstream media, but backlash from women, after a musical performance on UK comedy show Friday Night Live. 

During the live program, trans-identified male comedian Jordan Gray ripped off his clothing to expose his entire naked body, and began to play his keyboard with his penis. This was during Gray’s rendition of his song “Better Than You,” which featured misogynistic lyrics intended to mock females.

“I’m a perfect woman, my tits will never shrink. I’m guaranteed to squirt, and I do anal by default … I am the lizard king, and I can do anything that any other woman can’t … I used to be a man, now I’m better than you,” Gray sang to an audience of delighted onlookers.

The explicit performance took place during a specialFriday Night Live revival event marking Channel 4’s 40th anniversary. The revival featured former Friday Night Live cast members Ben Elton, Enfield, Brand and Julian Clary as well as a number of new comedians, including Gray.

Mainstream media coverage of Gray’s performance has been overwhelmingly positive. PinkNews, a UK-based outlet, referred to Gray’s song as “rousing” and called the performance “iconic,” and characterized any opposition to the performer’s exposure of his genitals on television as “anti-trans.” The sentiment was shared by some LGBT activists on Twitter.

Irish Mirror chose to emphasize glowing comments which praised Gray as “amazing” and stated that “seeing a trans woman get naked on TV is exactly what we needed.”

Reporting on Gray’s exhibitionist stunt, The Daily Mail in particular prompted criticism for the use of the term “her penis” to refer to the incident.

Even some beloved British figures took to social media to heap praise upon Gray. Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs complimented Gray’s “magnificent boobs and equally magnificent member” and called for Gray to run for Prime Minister.

But while no mainstream British outlet has called into question any safeguarding concerns related to the program, many on social media have stated their shock and outrage at what they consider to be indecent exposure, a sexual offense, being normalized, celebrated, and highly publicized. 

Speaking with Reduxx, UK-based journalist and women’s rights campaigner Jo Bartosch criticized the media outlets who chose to reference Gray’s genitals using feminine pronouns, and highlighted the significance of factually-based language. “Whether it’s calling a man ‘Miss’ or using the oxymoronic phrase ‘her penis,’ these linguistic capitulations to men’s paraphilias are dangerous. It is a public sign of the power men like Gray enjoy. And it is terrifying, yet darkly comic, that respected journalists and broadcasters will now lie in this way, because to do otherwise is to risk breaching media guidelines which have been informed by trans lobby groups,” Bartosch said. 

“The phrase ‘her penis’ is an insult to the profession, to audiences and to the truth,” she added.

Bartosch explained that she views pornography as an influential force in the concept of a “female penis,” noting that while it may seem bizarre to “the uninitiated,” there exists within the “male domain of pornography a logic to the idea of a ‘female penis.'” 

She then cited as examples genres such as forced feminization, and sissification, which portray men as being transformed into women through processes that involve makeup, lingerie, sexual submissiveness, and humiliation.

“Whether it’s the rebranding of sexual entertainment as ‘children’s education’ or the use of language to reflect men’s fantasies; aggressively male behaviour which festers in online pornography has seeped over into the real world,” Bartosch stated.

“The excitement men feel is because they know that the social bounds that keep their base impulses in check are straining and being broken, and that it is happening in plain sight. Pornographic values have become so mainstream when men brazenly flash their fetishes they are celebrated for their bravery. One wonders which taboos will be the next to be broken?”

In the days following Channel 4’s broadcast, internet sleuths have brought to light how Gray boasted about being a representative for a charity that promotes gender identity ideology in schools. The charity, Educate and Celebrate, describes its 

programs as offering “the knowledge, skills and confidence to embed gender, gender identity and sexual orientation into the fabric of your organization”. 

Since news of his involvement with the charity has been spread on social media, Educate and Celebrate quietly pulled a page from their site that listed Gray as a patron. “I go into schools to talk about gender as part of a campaign called Educate and Celebrate,” Gray told GuysLikeU. 

“Toddlers kind of get it straightaway. I went into one school recently where there was a 7 year-old transgender girl. And her four year-old classmate, who was a boy, said: ‘Jessie’s a girl and she wants to be a girl. And I am a boy who wants to be a boy.'” “Young minds are very accepting,” Gray added. “It’s teenagers who are harder to get through to. It’s good to educate these kids when they are young.”

A patron of Educate and Celebrate listed alongside Gray, Peter Tatchell, has previously made statements in support of pedophilia and questioning age of consent laws. Tatchell, a former leader of the Gay Liberation Front, authored an obituary in The Independent for Ian Dunn, founder of the former pedophile activist organization the Pedophile Information Exchange (PIE).

Tatchell also published an essay in an anthology released by former vice-chairman of PIE, Warren Middleton, wherein he argued that argued that “children have sexual desires at an early age” and should be “educated” so that they can decide when they want to have sex.

“While it may be impossible to condone pedophilia, it is time society acknowledged the truth that not all sex involving children is unwanted, abusive, and harmful,” Tatchell wrote in a letter to The Guardian in 1997.

The revelation that Jordan Gray worked alongside Peter Tatchell for a charity promoting the notion of a gender identity to young children mirrors a recent, widely-publicized scandal involving a pro-pedophilia campaigner’s ties to a children’s charity that promotes the medical “transition” of minors.

Earlier this month, Jacob Breslow, an Associate Professor at the London School of Economics, stepped down from his position as a trustee for UK-based trans activist organization Mermaids following revelations that he had ties to pro-pedophilia lobbyists.

Breslow had, on several occasions, made statements and published academic work that favorably portrayed pedophilia, and had once authored a blog that linked directly to child sexual abuse materials.

Chronological Event Summary

At age 9 Cellbit had an awkward and very violating encounter with a neighbor girl who was older than him which left him traumatized. He questioned his sexuality as he was growing up, and thought things would make sense once he actually lost his virginity, which he did to his first girlfriend at age 18. Since then, he's been sure of his asexuality. However, this girlfriend was aphobic and constantly pressured him into having sex with her or urging him to seek medical help for his lack of interest in sex. She would embarrass him in front of his friends, gaslit him into thinking that no one else would ever accept him for who he is, was physically violent towards him, and cheated on him. Once he was finally able to pull away from her, she started making incessant posts about Cellbit being abusive, mean, and jealous, which caused backlash against Cellbit and his content, and she even used his depressive period and suicide attempt as reason to incite hate against him. Cellbit remained in silence in response to this, fearing what might happen if he tried to fight back, but, with the recent new allegation that this ex made accusing him of sexually assaulting her, Cellbit had enough and broke his silence with this document. He's said that he doesn't want this to affect him and his loved ones any longer, and he doesn't want to speak about all of this any more than he already had to.

MY RESPONSE, 7 YEARS LATER

7 years ago I was in a relationship with a person who lied compulsively, cheated on me, tricked me and has tried to ruin my life up until the present, though I've always tried to stay silent.

This week, she accused me of sexual assault.

This relationship began in 2015. I had just turned 18 and she was 20. 9 years ago. I broke up with her in 2017, two years later.

After we broke up I never responded to any of the allegations that she publicly made against me. I didn't want my followers going on a witch hunt, and even less to expose a personal relationship which used to bring me so much pain.

The only statement that I made was related to me doing therapy, I never mentioned her name and never spoke about anything that she did to me. I NEVER attacked her nor encouraged any kind of hate towards her during all of these years.

And, despite her always claiming that "she doesn't want to revive that subject", she is literally the only one who keeps talking about it, inventing and distorting more things every time, even 7 years later. And I have always maintained my quiet, always held on to my silence. But this week, she has made the worst accusation so far, and there is no more silence to hold on to.

This is a document directly relaying all the facts of what I lived, with any evidence that I could get in order to confirm things. This is not me asking for forgiveness. I am not here to try to convince anyone that doesn't like me to change their opinion.

I've learned after all these years that in this situation I always am going to be seen as the one at fault. It doesn't matter what I say. Any kind of defense or argument is going to always be accused of "silencing" her.

And, if I keep quiet, like I did for all of these years, that would be interpreted as me "keeping quiet because it confirms the truth". And she'll continue accusing me of more and more absurd things.

So then, like I said, this is not an apology, it's clarification. A report detailing everything that happened, point by point, about all of the events that were "exposed" by my ex-girlfriend. And from there, you all can draw your own conclusions.

I know that even after everything that I write here, many people are still going to refuse to consider the other side of things. There is an image that has been constructed of me, where I am a psychotic monster, which is difficult to erase. But this document isn't for the people who believe in that. This clarification is for those who have always been willing to understand.

I just want people to finally hear my story and take away what they will from it. I am no longer going to let this destroy the lives of the people that I love in the same way that it destroyed mine.

ASEXUALITY AND THE SEXUAL ASSULT ACCUSATION

I am going to begin by directly responding to the accusation that is making me publish this report after all of these years of silence. I have never been accused of something as absurd as this, and I am completely certain that I can PROVE that it is IMPOSSIBLE that this claim is real.

After years accusing me of countless things, for the first time my ex-girlfriend has decided to accuse me of an unforgivable crime. She posted a tweet that mentions me by name, implying that I sexually violated her.

Without any proof, after years of making one exposure after another, trying to destroy my image and my life, she's finally decided to call on a lie about the worst thing that she can:

Unfortunately, I thought it was normal to feel pain and suffer a shitload of pressure to feed into his self-esteem publicly, and so I said shit that I thought would please him. You all should be embarrassed, bunch of assholes."

I am asexual.

All of my personal friends have known for many years that I am asexual, and I had mentioned it before in some different places publically. My sexuality was never a subject that I spoke much about, but was also never something that I tried to hide.

To be brief, this doesn't mean that I cannot have sex, but I simply don't have interest or desire to.

I've always been like this, ever since I was a child. And, despite being interested romantically in people and falling in love normally, I do not feel the desire to have sexual relations of any kind.

I always grew up feeling that there was something different about me in contrast to other people. I questioned my sexuality a lot, not understanding if I was gay or if there was something physically wrong with me, and I thought that maybe I would understand everything once I lost my virginity. This happened with my ex-girlfriend, and ever since that first time I had sex, I knew that this was really just the way I am. I began researching, reading about asexuality on the internet and talking with a psychologist about it.

Despite this, I can have and have had sexual relationships in my life. I just don't feel any desire or physical need to have sex.

Including, actually, that I have a healthy sex life with my current girlfriend.

My ex-girlfriend is now accusing me of sexual assault. We had sexual relations consistently, always when she wanted, it was always her who initiated, and she always told me that there was something wrong with me. It was a topic that she repeatedly brought up to humiliate me around friends, as well. Sometimes as little jokes, but other times in much more exposing ways. On one occasion, for example, we went out with some friends and she asked for one of them to give me a "lesson on sex" so that I "do things more enthusiastically."

She also constantly would tell me that I should go to be examined and get medical treatment to try and "fix" me. All of the sexual relations that I had with her went until she felt satisfied, and then she would tell me to finish up alone.

I talked with her numerous times about being asexual when we were together. I mentioned that I'd spoken about it in therapy and that I was reading more about it in online communities. She didn't believe that it was possible, and insisted that I had something wrong with me.

Even after we ended our relationship, when we spoke again in 2018, she still invalidated my sexuality.

I lost count of how many times she made me feel obligated to have sex with her, even when I clearly didn't want to, just so that she would feel satisfied, because of the fear that if I didn't do it, she would cheat on me.

Even knowing that it was a matter I didn't want disclosed, she still spoke publicly about our sex life just to make me feel more pressured to "go and see what's wrong with me sooner."

I couldn't understand exactly why she decided to lie about something that she knew I would never have had the capacity to do.

THE ABUSE THAT I SUFFERED

In addition to all of that, I had been sexually abused when I was 9 years old by my neighbor when I lived inland in the countryside, and she knew about this. This is a story that I avoided speaking about the most that I could, I never had the courage to even tell this to my mother, and my ex KNEW that I NEVER wanted to disclose this to the whole internet, no matter what happened. It was something that left me with massive trauma that is still very difficult to talk about.

Very few people in my social circle know about this, because it's something that pains me greatly to remember. In 2019, I also told part of the story to some mods and people in my off-stream chat community that I trusted.

I thought that that was actually real sex and was mortified, she was a lot older and I didn't know why she was doing that"

And now, YEARS AFTER living that hell, being humiliated different times by her, questioning my own sexuality, feeling used, she makes a post implying that I committed the worst and most disgusting crime that exists. A crime that I suffered through.

A person that she KNOWS would never be able to commit that. But she feels free to accuse me because until today I have always kept silent.

Accusing me of something that was literally never mentioned by her before, suddenly, on the week that I am going to participate in an international award ceremony. It's something that comes up in a new story that she deletes soon after giving people just enough time to take a screenshot, like she always does.

She always alleged that we had a toxic relationship, but now, in 2024, she accuses me of sexual assault, without any kind of proof, and never having spoken about that before in all these years.

Even after 7 years, she continues controlling my life, forcing me to publicly humiliate myself and talk about the most intimate side of my life, making me expose my sexuality and the fact that I was abused when I was a kid, just to be able to prove that I would never do something as terrible as that.

For me, this is the limit.

I have always had empathy and concern for her, and she never stopped. I just want to live my life in peace.

THE BEGINNING OF THE RELATIONSHIP AND THE OTHER ACCUSATIONS

I met my ex-girlfriend in 2015, at an event called XMA 2015. I had a panel to talk with some followers and take some photos after. During these events, all of the guests stayed separated in some rooms where we could talk. There, I met her for the first time and we very quickly began to flirt with eachother.

An interview that I gave at the event, proving that I was there.

We chatted for around 30 minutes, I had just turned 18 and had never had a partner. She was older, 20, and had already had various boyfriends before. We got eachother's numbers on WhatsApp, and I left to do my panel. At the end of the event, we encountered eachother again and continued talking a bit more.

During that night, I went to send a message to her and noticed that her WhatsApp profile picture was a selfie of a man, not her. I thought that she had given me the wrong number, but I sent a message and in a few seconds saw her changing her avatar to a photo of her and responding to me soon after.

I asked who it was in that photo, and she said that it was a joke that she was doing pretending to be a friend. We continued flirting and exchanging messages for some time, until someone informed me that she apparently had a boyfriend.

She was dating a professional LOL player, and had gone to the XMA event as his companion. His team was participating in the championship of the event.

When I asked about this, she told me that he was just a fling (he wasn't, they were dating), but that she was going to end the relationship soon because she claimed that he "was rude to her." She said that she was just waiting for the right moment to be finished with him because he "was in a championship and she was going to affect his career."

While this was happening, she asked me to travel to her city so that we could meet. It was there that, a few days later, we found ourselves in Monte Alto, a small town in the countryside where she lived, and we stayed together in an inn.

"I lived in Monte Alto"

It was in this inn that she cheated on her boyfriend with me, and was then that I lost my virginity, believing that she already wasn't speaking with him anymore. As it was my first time, she was constantly complaining and making jokes about me being inexperienced.

That was the day that I started to understand that I am asexual, something that would become important later on in our relationship.

We continued our relations for a few more weeks, where she would always give excuses for the reason she had not broken up with her boyfriend yet, saying that she was almost finished, that there was just one more game of his, it was just one more weekend.

Eventually, she asked me to help her write a breakup message for her boyfriend in a skype call, and finally we could have a "real relationship." But, the damage was already done, and I just hadn't noticed yet. I still didn't have any idea what I was getting into, and she was my first girlfriend. I was in love with a person who was manipulating and lying to her previous boyfriend, while she did the same thing to me.

Some of the people in the LOL scene who had met her informed me that she used to "switch boyfriends quite frequently" and that they had heard stories about cheating before.

That whole situation left me extremely traumatized and paranoid, but this was only the beginning.

A few months passed, we dated long distance for some time, and afterwards the two of us moved to São Paulo into different apartments. She was living with her sister and studying at college, and I moved in with some friends into an apartment.

All of this initial context is important for what came later.

HER ACCUSATIONS

In the accusations that she made after we broke up, the events have always been distorted and described in an ambiguous manner, using words like "abuser" and "aggressor" in order to give the understanding that what happened may or may not have been some kind of assault.

Among other things, she said that: "I kicked her out of the house," that she "was locked in a bathroom," that I called her names and that I "threw her things away."

All of these stories are distortions of one singular event.

On the contrary from what she insinuated when she said that "I kicked her out of the house," we never lived together. She was 20 minutes away from me, though she slept at my house sometimes, because we were dating.

During our relationship, she was constantly telling stories about a specific ex-boyfriend. An abuser who did cocaine, sexually harassed her, broke into her house, threatened to kill himself to stay with her, and that she'd had to call the police on him before. She said that she had him blocked everywhere, but that he still tried to talk with her after years, and had even followed her back to her house one time.

Eventually, in a moment where we were together, she was using her phone beside me and a Facebook Messenger notification appeared on the screen. It was a message sent by this ex, who I'd heard numerous stories about being a psychotic abuser, apparently responding to a message from her. I have never in my life seen someone swipe a message off the screen as fast as she did in that moment.

That was that day I discovered it wasn't just that she hadn't blocked him, but that they were talking about possibly getting back into a relationship. All of those messages were from the same week, as she was still dating me.

I confronted her for cheating on me, then, and told her to leave my apartment and go home. She began to scream and cry, shoved me, slapped me in the face, and locked herself in the bathroom saying that she wouldn't leave.

She used to hit me constantly, which back then I believed was "normal" because it was my first relationship. I thought that all girlfriends must hit their boyfriends, and even more so because she was a woman and smaller than me. At that time I didn't consider it to be "actual assault," even if it did hurt me.

Even with her slapping me and shoving me more than once, I never fought back or laid a finger on her.

I knocked on the bathroom door saying that she needed to gather her things and leave my house, and she refused. This is the story that she turned into "I locked her in the bathroom"- since, because the bathroom key was kept inside the bathroom, it would have been impossible for this, and illogical to lock a person outside of the bathroom while I was trying to break up with them for cheating on me.

As she'd refused to leave, I said that I would leave her things at the exit of the apartment and when she decided to go she could look for them there. I then put her bag in the building's garage. This was what she made into "I threw her things away."

And yes, I did call her names when I discovered that she was cheating. And she called me just as many as I called her, if not even more. She'd make me feel like a monster no matter what'd happened, literally inventing things that I never said and making me believe I said things that I don't remember saying.

After that, we stayed apart for some months, but still kept in contact and saw eachother a few times. She invented dozens of different excuses, from "It wasn't exactly that and I understood wrong" to "She was just talking to her ex then because she was scared that he would do something to me."

She always knew exactly what to say and how to manipulate things in a convincing manner. Eventually, we went back to dating again, but obviously my psyche was already completely destroyed.

With the passage of time, our relationship kept getting worse and worse. I would catch her lying about little things compulsively and all of the time. I noticed that she would always change some details in stories she told, she constantly talked shit about all of her friends and mainly about her best friend at the time, or other specific things that didn't make sense like saying she'd never felt attraction for any man besides me.

At events, she would say that other streamers were hitting on her, just to see my reaction, and in one situation in particular, she flirted with another influencer so much that he tried to kiss her in front of me. Then when I confronted him, he justified it by saying she'd implied that we had an open relationship.

Besides this, she continued having more and more violent outbursts, often in public over small things, such as yelling at me in the middle of a restaurant with my friends because I put ketchup on the side of the fries plate without asking for permission from her, and then calling an uber and leaving.

Or even to the point of creating situations to blackmail me with, like hiding the notebook I was using for work and refusing to give it back to me until I'd done what she wanted.

Another one of her stories included a party where I "abandoned her and left"- at this party, we had a fight after I saw her giving her number to a guy she'd just met while I was in the bathroom. She justified this with "He looked sad so she went to talk to him and let him know that if he needed anything he could send her a message." After that, I went to the other side of the party, and when I came back, I could not find her anywhere. I looked everywhere for her and nobody had seen or knew where she was. I had her phone with me, and searched the party for almost an hour without finding her. I thought that she'd maybe gotten a taxi home or hitched a ride with someone. An hour later, a friend of hers dropped her off at my apartment and she said that she had been on the second story of the party (which was a closed off section, there was no party there, I never would have thought of going up to the second floor to look for her) venting and talking with a friend.

She also claimed that I wasn't supportive and that I tried to hinder her from creating content on the internet, when all of the first edited vlogs on her channel were recorded on my camera, and I was also the one to teach her to edit her own videos.

She made me believe that I was dependent on her, that I would never find someone who really loved me, that all of the others would only stay with me for the interest and the followers. And I believed her.

Eventually, after two years of an extremely toxic relationship, I finally decided to break up with her in 2017.

Even after we ended our relationship she continued her behavior of compulsively lying and manipulating. In the same month that we ended our relationship, she got together with another influencer that she had been talking with for a while. In 2018, while she was still dating him, she would secretly talk with me and say that she still loved me.

Including, we had NUMEROUS conversations about our relationship where we asked for forgiveness from one another. Even with her publicly saying that "we'd never resolved it" in her livestreams, we talked normally as if everything was fine.

This is literally the last interaction that we had before she blocked me and did the streams claiming that I was a psychopath who destroyed her life:

The last interaction before all of the exposures in which she claimed that "we'd never resolved it" and never talked about it.

After everything, she still had the capacity to use my depressive period and exposing my suicide attempt as a way to VILLAINIZE me. It was the worst time I went through in my life. I couldn't work, I started doing drugs for some months, and could only think about committing suicide every day. I only made it through alive because my BEST FRIEND went rushing to my house to save my life.

It's something that I am always going to be grateful for, something that I am never going to be able to forget, and something that he also never spoke about because he knew that it was something I was trying to forget. It was an extremely traumatic period in my life and I promised that I would never relive it.

Another story that I NEVER wanted to have to tell, and one that she EXPOSED on a livestream of hers, like somehow me trying to kill myself was proof that I am a monster.

And even after all of this, I continued my silence, watching her distort everything that we'd lived and transforming me into a monster for all of the internet, scared that if I responded, everything would become 10 times bigger and worse, and the internet would make both of our lives hell.

When I gave an interview on the program of another influencer and was asked what the reason was for the breakup, I tried not to start a war or create gossip, giving a generic answer, saying that we went our ways and that everything was fine, because we really were talking normally. My ex used this to villainize me, saying that I was trying to lie about our relationship in the interview in order to "erase my wrongs."

(Cellbit) "Hey, [redacted] first off I'm very sorry that you got stuck in the middle of this without having any relation to it / So, about your video, this is by far one of the most unfair things in this whole story, because she made it out as if it was a lie, but everything I said was 100% true. / Or at least that was what I thought at the time, that we had everything resolved and were both fine on our own. / Considering, she and I used to talk just fine on WhatsApp"

Explaining to the interviewer that what I said was true and that we were speaking normally, like the screenshot above proves, despite her not believing it.

I was always scared that everything would become a circus, everyone watching as two lives collapsed, when all that I wanted was for her to be fine and leave me in peace.

After we broke up, I spent years without being able to have a relationship of any kind with anyone, holding on to numerous traumas, believing that I would never be able to trust other people again, and that I was never going to find someone who would accept my asexuality.

It took more than 3 years to be able to finally trust in someone again, and today I am in a new relationship of almost 4 years. An extremely healthy relationship that showed me what it really means to be able to trust in someone, and has made me into someone who becomes better every day.

But, once again, like has happened many times every year, my ex-girlfriend continues reviving and creating new stories every time something relevant happens. If I'm canceled for being an asshole and banning a guy playing Tetris, if another creator is canceled for an abusive relationship, or if I'm a participant in an important international award ceremony, she appears once more, posting something about the subject, and deleting the tweets some time later to remain in the role of someone who is being attacked and "not left in peace." Just like she's probably going to do again now.

With the passage of time, she has gone from distorting events to inventing completely new things, until at this point even the public is starting to question her motive for bringing up the same topic again and again, like saying that I "controlled what she ate" or that I "tracked her location with GPS" which are complete lies.

She also enjoys blaming me for things that I don't have the smallest relation to, like saying that my fans made her lose her Instagram and "lose job opportunities," when in reality her Instagram account was reported when she was canceled for a post complaining about an event and was mocked by various influencers and sites.

Another thing that keeps being said incessantly on the internet is that I "never suffered any consequences even after she exposed all of that"- I lost dozens of contracts from all of the publicity agencies and producers that closed their doors on me and never invited me back to events or ads. But, I never publicly complained or disclosed this, because more than once that has resulted in a war involving the public.

All that I could do was keep working and keep believing that at some point this would all end. But everything that happened caused a surge of hate against me which generated accusations of various very serious and unacceptable crimes that random people on the internet all believed I'd committed, even without having any proof at all.

And I will not stand this any longer. I cannot put up with this knowing that my mother receives threats and terrible DMs, seeing people telling my girlfriend to kill herself or cheering for her to be abused in order to confirm the theories and accusations of my ex-girlfriend and see "Cellbit exposed once again"

And I'm going to continue prosecuting everyone who continues to invent lies about me on the internet, it doesn't matter how much the engagement. If you have something to say, it's best to have proof you can take to court. It took me too long to understand that I didn't need to stay silent in the face of the atrocities that were said about me, and I am not going to stop again now.

They have already destroyed my image and my life on the internet, but I am not going to let this continue with the people close to me. I want to be happy with the people that I love, and I am not going to accept being treated like a criminal any longer.

She accused me of sexual assault, something that could end me publicly, believing that I would likely not respond because I have never responded before. She was not accusing me of being a mean, jealous or possessive boyfriend like she always used to, she accused me of a serious crime.

And now, she's going to set herself back into a position where this document is an attack on her, when all that I am doing is defending myself from the worst false accusation that has been made against me, of a crime.

I want to make it CLEAR: this document is NOT an attack or an attempt to induce hade against anybody. I am simply defending myself and giving my statement of the facts that happened. I DID NOT WANT TO BE DOING THIS, but it was the only way to be honest and true to all of the people who have supported my projects and my community.

I know that people who already disliked me, whatever their reason, are still not going to believe me. Like I said, I am not here to try and change anyone's opinion.

In the end, here in this document is the proof of a pattern of lying and manipulative behavior that has happened with many people before me and that continues to happen with me repeatedly. A Fan in Distress:

This post is basically being sent in vacuum, since this is probably the millionth of its kind on Tumblr relating to J.K. Rowling. I for one, could relate to Harry Potter for the longest time, until very recently, since once you try reviving an old favourite of yours, chances are, that you might love them, or find yourself in an ethical dilemma worse than ever.

TLDR: As of today, I harbour no ethical dilemmas. Whatever JKR has said and done in enforcement of her transphobia is problematic, and considering her power and position is inexcusable. Her social capital has already been elevated enough to shield her from the monetary effects of any backlash thereof. And we don't need to add to it.

Time to let the Harry Potter franchise rest in its grave.

Here, I'll confess my own sins. I'm an owner of all seven of those books. I've loved all of them more than life itself. I've loved Neville and I've loved Dobby. Completing my HP set was my first quest after I'd started earning, and I'd very recently bought the Harry Potter Almanac. It was actually after this purchase that YouTube (courtesy of its algorithm) threw up two podcast videos for me to listen to while working. (Yeah, I live under a rock, and, yes, apparently this issue of JKR being a transphobe hasn't really gained much audience in our country. I sincerely doubt that many people knew of this. They probably still don't.)

But yes, while ignorance may be blissful, it is certainly not desirable. And this is where those podcast videos by Contrapoints and Jesse Gender educated me about this issue. Particularly Aranock's testimony of her experience as a trans female, particularly with respect to the hatred and harassment she was subjected to after JKR's spiteful revelations actually shook me to the core. I felt despair, sadness, anger and yes, Guilt too.

I'D FELT CHEATED.

Because, you don't listen, JKR. For some reason, you've refused to listen, heed, and reason. This probably won't reach you, but I'm sure you would know what being unheard feels like, and here, you are, after having written of inclusion and consideration, love and respect, in your set of fantasy novels, standing on your millions that those novels got you, and yet, becoming the exact polar opposite of what you'd preached, and hurting millions in your obstinacy. You are now leading us to believe that your make believe world holds no good for anything apart from the age old viciously exclusionary social mores that people are fighting so hard against. Even to this day, even in countries as evolving as mine, even in countries as 'developed' as yours.

But yes, none of this makes any difference to you, does it? And as for us, we shall definitely adjust and cast aside something that millions of us grew up to love. For that, is the right thing to do.

So henceforth-

No Harry Potter merchandise for me.

No more Harry Potter books/films for me.

Harry Potter shan't be passed to my children from me. But yeah, Sandman certainly will.

Madara: Actually, it’s a program that would be better off if we left.

I was also killed instantly, so Rinne-san and I were taken away together. Honestly, if you don’t have items, it’s just a game of luck.

It’s the best part of “fun to fight, interesting to lose.”

Although, they don’t seem to be glaring at us because they lost the “Dice Battle.”

This is hypothetical, but. These idols are from non-ES agencies— non-ES idols may be wary of us ES idols.

I’m sure a small agency that’s appearing on an unknown internet program would be especially sensitive about that kind of thing, wouldn’t they?

“Are you going to expand into online programming and steal our jobs!?” …… It’s no surprise that some people are angry.

Well, we’re reaping what we sowed.

Not all humans are equal, but the world cleverly proclaims that “all humans are equal.”

There are even people who believe this, and avoid seeing the inconvenient truth.

However, it was the ES side who drew them into a huge trend and overran the existing industry. There’ll naturally be some backlash.

If they want to keep their distance, there’s no need to force our way in.

Rinne: You’re cold. In the entertainment world, that’s true.

Mikeneko-chan and I are “strays” within ES. If we all work together to liven up this boring show, we’ll be able to raise the stocks.

Madara: No, I’m a pretty smart guy. Wouldn’t it seem strange if someone thought I was close to NewDi’s management?

Seeing as Yuuta-kun, who was in the same position on the GPS, is still alive, it seems he won against Mikejima-shi and ended things with both sides suffering damage.

The CosPro Team benefited from not allowing anyone but myself to hold the gold.

Unless our opponent is also using the zombie strategy, the difference will be felt in the final stages.

The problem is, when will Rinne Amagi-shi be revived? It seems like it’d be a good idea to leave him alone for now.

He appears to be able to get along well with the other participants— idols from small agencies.

The more time he can buy, the more time I’ll have to do my own research.

Especially in regards to the unknown idols booked by small agencies— I’m curious about how they were chosen.

Many of the promising candidates working at weaker agencies have transferred to ES agencies.

Idols who stayed at the small agencies don’t have impressive achievements.

If I understand the intentions in hiring them, the intentions of the program should become clear as well.

What was the production director, who once committed violent acts, thinking in calling them to be on “Battle on the Sugoroku Board?”

And what was NETV’s intention in hiring such a person?

If I understand this, then I should be able to understand whether NETV is a promising investment target.

When you’re investing a large amount of money, you need to have a good chance of winning.

As a strategist, my main focus is not on winning or losing the game, but rather on that—

I have seen many people upset about how people are “forced” to have amnesia/start new for Season 2. You can cry all you want, but DSMP as a story is over with Season 1. Many people (Dream, Tommy, Tubbo, Karl, Sapnap, etc.) want to go back to just playing on a Minecraft server again. Season 2 is not meant to be the same as Season 1. 

From Tubbo’s after-finale stream, he explained:

“Season 2 will never be the same. But it's important that it's not trying to be and it's not trying to be seen as a replacement or a big revival of the server that's going to be bigger and better than ever. Because that's not important, man. It will just be nice to have friends playing together again like at the start of Season 1.”

The reason why it will be Dream SMP Season 2 is that there is the possibility that characters may regain their memories. It leaves the potential of using established lore from Season 1. Tubbo alluded to this in his stream and Eryn basically confirmed it in chat. But they are not going to force it. 

In case it’s not obvious from what Tommy has said in his DSMP tribute video or from what Aimsey and Puffy said on the Internet Reject Podcast, the content creators were intimidated by the audience’s expectations and the backlash from changing/destroying stuff on the server. The server was not a fun place to play on anymore because of the self-entitled audience.

As much as I love the story, I just want my content creators to have fun again. Let them have fun.

"Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood" by Yves Tumor

In an era where the charts are dominated by two-minute, highly-compressed songs that cater to streaming platforms' algorithms (and at least theoretically earn a few more fractions of a penny in royalties), there's an interesting counter-trend - not only toward longer runtimes, but toward packing as much as possible into a typical song's length. It's a pop-prog backlash, and - this may be the only time I'll say something positive about prog on this web site - a welcome one. "Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood" feels like a journey, full of surprises and twists, but never loses sight of a groove even when it's taking a break to let a child tell us something profound. Yves Tumor floats above the funk like a breeze, their vocal tuned to "spirit" as the guitars whirl and thunder. As the song refuses to be pinned into any particular shape. This isn't a long song - the video makes time for credits and barely tops four minutes - but it luxuriates in its ability to pack itself full of twists and turns, to make its time seem that much fuller and more elaborate. If there's a prog revival waiting around the corner, Yves Tumor suggests, we're better off embracing it.

I do like this song, I swear. It has all these things I like: 90’s Flood-style slick and crunchy production, an absurdly dramatic title, lithe vocals that melt into the track so completely that it’s a little hard to even make out the words, every little detail building so fluidly that I am but a pebble in its rushing current. But every time I play “Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood” (And let me, again, say what a title! Evoking babushkas, whack-a-mole, euphoria and emo all in one stroke. Equal parts Nirvana and nirvana.) I forget all the specifics of what I heard as soon as it ends. It completely vaporizes in my brain’s webbing and I find this personally frustrating. “Heaven Surrounds Us Like a Hood” is a thrilling intersection of glam, goth, and funk in the abstract and in the specific, I can’t retain it long enough to mark the spot. Honestly, this is probably what makes it so great.

Olivia Rodrigo and the Revival of Pop-Punk

In the early-2000s, pop-punk was almost inescapable. Thanks to commercially successful bands such as Green Day and Blink-182, pop-punk maintained extreme mainstream relevance for nearly a decade. Once the 2010s came around, the pop-punk scene began to fizzle out as electropop music took over and artists such as David Guetta and Skrillex gained popularity. The golden age of teenage angst came to an end, that is until 2021 saw the resurgence of pop-punk music. Young artists have reclaimed the genre and modernized it in unexpected ways, and one artist, in particular, is at the forefront of this pop-punk revival: Olivia Rodrigo. 

So, what exactly is pop-punk? It is a music genre that fuses elements of catchy pop and fast-paced punk-rock. It typically combines fast tempos, raw lyricism, and loud electric guitar solos. This music style started to trend alongside the grunge fashion styles of the early 2000s. Twenty years later, we find ourselves amidst a return of this pop-punk scene after the release of Olivia Rodrigo’s first studio album, Sour. 

In 2021, Sour debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and has since earned the artist three Grammy awards (Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album). Popular music coverage website, Pitchfork, refers to this album as a “slightly chaotic collection of break-up anthems filled with melancholy and mischief.” Of all of the songs on Sour, “brutal” feels the most pop-punk-oriented, lyrically and sonically. Consider these lyrics from the track:

Now compare Rodrigo’s lyrics to the following popular pop-punk song, “Beverly Hills” written by Weezer, circa 2005:

Where I come from isn't all that great

My automobile is a piece of crap

My fashion sense is a little wack

And my friends are just as screwy as me

I didn't go to boarding schools

Preppy girls never looked at me

Why should they? I ain't nobody

The lyrics of both of these songs are unquestionably snarky and self-deprecating, allowing the artists to resonate with their target audience of teenagers and twenty-somethings who feel similar levels of dread. Rodrigo’s angsty lyrics in “brutal,” combined with her killer electric guitar riffs, make for the quintessential pop-punk song. 

Although we find ourselves in a modernized age of pop-punk, it is inevitable that today’s music will display similarities to the original pop-punk songs of the early-2000s. However, there is a thin line between inspiration and plagiarism, and Olivia Rodrigo might be testing her luck. In the midst of the massive praise Rodrigo has received for her recent music, there has been criticism surrounding the resemblances between the songs featured on “Sour,” and the music released by the popular pop-punk band, Paramore. Rodrigo was accused of ripping off Paramore’s 2007 hit "Misery Business" with her #1 hit song “good 4 u.” In fact, the backlash Rodrigo received led her to give up millions of dollars in royalties to Hayley Williams- lead singer of Paramore- by offering her an official song credit on the track.

Both songs have comparable vocal rhythms and chord riffs, though it is important to recognize that there are stylistic trademarks that some of the most popular pop-punk songs share, which can explain why songs of this genre may sound very similar to each other. In fact, it has become a running joke that the lyrics of many of the most popular early-2000s pop-punk songs share the same trope of “hating your hometown,” which can be seen in the video below: 

As arguments rage on about what is deemed unoriginal in pop-punk, Rodrigo continues to grow as an artist, contributing to the evolution of the genre. Despite the controversy and allegations of “copying other artists,” there is no denying that she has made a name for herself in the pop-punk realm. In the span of one year, Rodrigo has sling-shotted to extreme mainstream success, introducing a new generation of teenagers to pop-punk music.

Since I have finally watched Baymax! it's time to contribute to the revival of the BH6 fandom. Will be covering each episode so there will be major spoilers. No worries I'll put a cut underneath this. If you want to see my general review of the new series you can find it here. Now let's see how I was satisfied with my care.

Episode One: Cass

It's nice to see Cass and her cafe again. She's still hard at work serving her customers. Let me get one thing straight. Don't try to escape Baymax's care. He knows where you are. So in this Episode, Cass got injured by tripping on her stool and risked closing her cafe due to her injury. Baymax then takes on over the operation of the cafe while Cass is healing. And finally, we see our favorite cat again. Mochi, who surveys the cafe by strapping a Go-Pro on him. Adorable! Honestly, this episode was heartwarming because Cass runs this Cafe as a promise to help the family. And her customers wanted her to heal up and rest because they care about her is just so sweet! And Baymax's service was actually enjoyable despite being very slow. As Baymax said, "They may find another Cafe but they will never find another Cass". I almost forgot one last thing. The way Baymax said not to worry about the cafe is so ominous!

Episode Two: Kiko

So in this episode, Baymax helps Kiko an elderly woman who suffers from hip pain and refuses to swim. Baymax wanted to treat her pain by encouraging her to swim at the local pool but she refused. So baymax assumed it was because of a fear of water so he tried to treat her "fear" by exposure therapy which was basically Baymax blasting water at Kiko xD. Honestly, I'm happy that they still made the show just as humorous as the series was. Another example was when Baymax scanned for the nearest pool using his "state-of-the-art GPS" and noticed the pool was next door. This is similar to the event in the series where Baymax and Mini-Max were scanning for Mochi. This type of humor made the series far more enjoyable. Towards the end when Kiko tried throwing a sharp object at Baymax in an attempt to pop him, Baymax actually blocked it with a fast reaction time. Does this man Baymax still has his superhero chip in him?

Episode 3: Sophia (Alright I'm getting tired of summarizing the episode so I'll just stick to my thoughts from here on out.)

Thank you Don and Disney for adding yet another piece of media covering periods. I can't wait to see how much backlash this got xD. Baymax did an amazing job in comforting Sophia when she got her first period. It's nothing to be ashamed of and it's a normal part of life! As baymax said "It's just biology". I'm pleased that Baymax went on his way to buy a bunch of different tampons for Sophia. And the trans representation in that scene was great! Disney is finally stepping up their game! And did anyone notice the gender-neutral restrooms the school had? Lastly, Baymax finally understands jokes now after Sophia made one regarding her period. Perhaps Hiro got tired of explaining jokes to Baymax and updates his programming.

Episode 4: Mbita

Ah, the gay representation of Mbita and Yukio. Mbita actually asks Yukio on a date near the end. I'm actually impressed, Disney! And Mbita fear's of needles is pretty accurate. He actually tried to escape Baymax in his fish vending vehicle. I'm impressed that Baymax's charging case thingy could actually keep up with him! He even used it as a skateboard at one point! Perhaps those skating lessons with Gogo paid off.

Episode 5: Yachi

First of all Yachi is soo adorable! And second, all the trouble baymax had to go through just to get the airpod dislodged from Yachi's throat. Honestly, the poor thing was just scared. The way Baymax actually locked Yachi in that warehouse is so ominous though. And how is unscrewing the shelf with a power drill and safe way to get the cat down when the self collapses instantly?!

Episode 6: Baymax

"What's with Baymax and warehouses?" This is actually quite a thrilling finale. So during the previous episode, Baymax runs out of battery in that warehouse shortly after treating Yachi. The problem is that the same warehouse is due for demolition. And we finally see our favorite teen genius, Hiro, tracking him down with all the people Baymax helped. So Hiro keeps the whereabouts of Baymax's location and all the people he's treated. Perhaps Hiro started a non-profit business to showcase Baymax to the public.

Underrated Gems-Part 4

Welcome to part 4 of Underrated gems where we explore games that deserve a chance in the spotlight and today's game is one that came out recently and was hyped up quite a bit but due to technical glitches and bugs (which became so infamous that they became memes) it recieved a lot of backlash but was saved due to an anime. Yes im talking about Cyberpunk 2077

I personally really liked the game even with the game breaking bugs, i remember there was a bug where i hit a car and i went flying across the map but somehow reached my mission point and the best part i was in a time limit lol

Honestly if i had to describe the story in a few words i would say imagine futuristic gta v in first person mod only. overall i would actually give this game a solid 7/10

i actually enjoyed myself especially since i took a short break from warzone.

Rambles: A scrapped idea for a FNAF/Danganrompa crossover: Machines of Despair

I just wanted to put this old idea out there but this is an old crossover idea I had with these two series I just ended up scrapping. So here’s an info dump on it if you guys want to do anything with it.

Be warned: SPOILERS, DARK THEMES, AND A LOOOOOOOTTTT OF TEXT AHEAD

Pretty much it would have been set in the V3 universe and with an alternate ending to FNAF 6 (Pretty much nothing beyond those games as Freddy’s folds for good. No VR or SB.)

The ending of the 53 season stirred up a lot of controversy and ended with the series being canceled and a massive public backlash all over the world. Espically in America, where the series was outright banned as a whole several years prior.

Memorials are held for the survivors, tight restrictions are made on the series as a whole with more and more bans, merchandise and games are lost and destroyed and Monokuma becomes the newest face of evil.

Amongst the controversy, a young entrepreneur decides to use this as a chance to revive a long since dead company from his childhood hoping that with public’s eyes drawn elsewhere would aid in lessening any possible “issues” due to that company’s rather shady past.

The story would follow a former contest (Currently unnamed but lets call him Kai) on the Draganrompa show of a season that got canceled because of an anti-Danganrompa group who’s aim was to disrupt the show, rescue contestants and or get them settled outside of it and was let go and had moved to America some odd years back.

Kai’s formally known as the Ultimate Security Guard and lives with another former contestant of the show whom he met through a forum for survivors and the two wound up dating.

After some recent hard times resulting in him getting laid off from work, Kai finds himself accepting a job offer to be part of the staff for the “Grand Revival” of the newly relicensed “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”, this time under completely new management with no relation whatsoever to the now bankrupt Fazbear Entertainment LLC.

The new company is getting ready to launch their new flagship location yet recently. Strange happenings had been occurring around the building in recent weeks following a now former employee that had been tasked with looking for props to help in furnishing the place and their recent “acquisitions” from an overseas auction.

Reports of strange “shadow figures” on the cameras, musical devices suddenly playing by themselves, animatronics behaving erratically, a cryptic warning from a spirit median, on top of many other things usually late into the night, results in the owner and the employees launching an investigation with their newest hire, Kai, being placed front and center as the Night Guard on his first week.

For 7 nights, Kai faces having to keep the malfunctioning machines out of his office as well as battling with his own sanity as he starts to see hallucinations of an entity he names “Freddykuma” (That will kill him if he doesn’t keep his sanity down, and in between night cutscenes called “Freddykuma’s Stage Show”), born from his own personal fears, stress, and repression of his time on Danganrompa all while being guided over the phone by a fellow employee on what to expect and his post-shift tasks while they keep watch from their car.

Though throughout his shift, a certain human-like robot in a heavily damaged state stashed within the backroom/storage room notably catches his attention. The phone guy mentions that it was received as a part of the auction haul brought in by the former employee and the owner stuffed in the background after finding no use for it.

“You may have noticed that weird looking robot in one of the storage cams. Looks quite out of place here doesn’t it? Well you can “thank you know who” for it… Said we could use it for parts or whatever.

In that state I don’t think it’s going to see any use. Plus it gives us all the creeps. I don’t blame the boss for chucking it into that room… Especially after reports that the morning shift kept finding it in the weirdest places…”

The robot in question is in fact, K1-B0. Heavily damaged but still oddly functional, yet lacking of any of his prior intelligence. Compared to the other robots, he’s only ever active once a night going from Night 2 onwards in which he will make an attempt to get into Kai’s office and then go back to his room (He has multiple paths he can take and can be quite dangerous if Kai isn’t paying attention to his audio cues)

After each night, Kai will be tasked with doing some “post shift tasks” which function as short little minigames. Clear these and it’s shift complete, fail and his fate may be sealed by one of the still active animatronics.

Though during these Inbetween night segments is also the chance for Kai to recover any of the 11 of 12 “remnants” needed for the true ending.

But what are these “Remnants” you may ask?

Well, these remnants are actually revealed to be artifacts belonging to the 11 souls of the now deceased students of Hopes Peak Academy and the reason behind the hauntings after being brought to the location as part a series of an auction winnings by a former employee while in Japan.

Due to their rather traumatic causes of death, their souls are restless and unable to be freed until they are given proper closure. Gathering these artifacts is required to get the true ending of MoD and collecting them can be done during the post shift segments.

They are not labeled as a part of Kai’s nightly tasks and must be found by discovering hidden clues throughout the game which appear in many forms (Collectable notes, Freddykuma Stage Show dialogue, and even an EMF Reader that can be collected at the start of the post shift segments in the office (not required and completely optional but extremely helpful)

Yet that still leaves one more remanent left to collect..

And well… There’s a reason for that….

Collect all 11 and on the 6th night you will get a new phone call from the phone guy after the usual night 6 call.

He mentions that the boss had recently found some old files while digging through some old records belonging to the previous owners of the Fazbear name in an attempt to find out what was going on.

“Hey… sorry for calling you back so suddenly but I just got a call from the boss. He decided to have a look through some of the old records on the company and he thinks that he may have found something.

Apparently at some point Freddy Fazbear’s was looking to expand overseas or something like that since he found some paperwork from a company called “Idabashi Industries” or something like that.

The owner was apparently in talks with the two founders on helping to develop better robots and possibly open a few locations over in Japan but it kinda fell through because the owner had a “sudden and unexpected loss” that forced him to pull out.

It’s all so strange, plus the boss is saying this stuff is completely undocumented and that it was buried in a safe or something. It’s like someone was trying to hide this.

Anyways, I’ll let you go for the night. Once your shift’s over, meet me in the parking lot as usual. The boss wants to see us about that and those strange things you’ve been gathering after your shifts.”

Beating night 6 afterwards will unlock the Idabashi Archives. Kai will need to go through these until he reaches the back where there is a photo of a scientist and a boy. The photo needs to be clicked on where it will then be obtained as an item as well as a keycode.

The keycode will need to be entered on the safe that appears in the office on Night 7 with the photo having been obtained. Doing so will load a series of minigames and cutscenes that reveal something about K1B0 (in this universe):

It turns out that Professor Idabashi was in fact a real person and the robot known as K1B0 was the Professor’s actual biological son, who will simply be referenced to as by Kiibo.

The original Kiibo was revealed to have been murdered by William Afton during the Professor’s business trip to America to negotiate with Fazbear Entertainment which left his father in a deep state of depression.

In his grief, the Professor started to do research into a way to possibly bring back his son. Stealing research from the very man who had murdered his child, Idabashi set out to create a “vessel” that he could use to “bind” his soul to.

It manages to work with the initial prototype but soon issues go away as the vessel behaved “erratically” (aka like any other possessed animatronic) which resulted in Idabashi getting injured and him having to develop a series of internal systems and protocols to “stabilize” the spirit the vessel housed, ones that if they were damaged, would render the vessel reverting back to its more unstable state (As seen throughout the 7 nights).

With his son back, Idabashi tried to live a normal life yet soon found himself unable to look Kiibo in the eye as it “felt all wrong”. He had this son’s deactivated, memory wiped, and sold off his company. Idabashi would pass away at some point some years after the closing of the Fnaf 1 location and before the Danganrompa series was created.

K1B0 at some point would end up in the hands of Team Danganrompa (possibly from the company who bought out Idabashi Industries) and modified to be used as an “audience participation device” for the 53nd Season of Danganrompa before blowing himself up at the end.

Along with many other props used on the show, his remains would be salvaged from the wreckage of the set and sold via an auction in attempt to recoup losses for rather cheap due to growing negative opinions towards the series.

The props were bought by a now former employee of the new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and planned to be used to decorate the establishment, unknowingly bringing the souls of those victims with them.

After the cutscene ends, Night 7 will “restart” (WAKE UP)but will play out a lot differently. The time will be set to 3 am and it’s revealed that Kai fell asleep from the phone guy:

“Oh thank god I’ve finally gotten through to you Kai. You scared the crap outta me man! Falling asleep in the middle of my phone call.

You were saying some really creepy stuff there, man! Something about a kid a-and robots being possessed by human souls…

I may have spoken to you over the phone about this history of the old company that owned this brand and well the murders briefly but allow to tell you more in full.

While I cannot say how many since records list at least 11-16, I can say there were at least 6 that were notable. The Missing Children's Incident and the murder of Charlie Emily.

5 children lured into a backroom and stuffed into the suits and other dumped in an alleyway.

Horrible I know. To make matters worse, they never caught the killer. And to top all of that, I’d even heard rumors that there was possibly an even a 7th victim.”

The phone guy will go on to explain the rumor. During this time, Kai will also noticed that none of the animatronics are moving despite being able to flick through the cameras (This is more of an interactive cutscene) with one exception: K1B0.

He will not be in the backroom and instead can be found in the breaker room where he will shut off the power about midway through phone guy’s speech.

“Huh? What happened to the power in there?

Quickly! Dude, you need to get outta there before-“

Distorted noises

“KAI!! KAAAAAAIII!”

Kai will be attacked by K1B0 but will not die, instead being dragged off to the backroom. This will start the final post-shift segment:

Kai will have to survive in a Fnaf 4 style gameplay loop from 3 to 6, all while fending off K1B0 until the phone guy and the morning shift can reach him.

Doing so successfully will result in Kai’s phone alarm beeping as he goes to leave his hiding spot. Yet before he can leave the room, K1B0 will jump at him and attempt to attack him. Kai will have to hold him off until he drops the photograph from his pocket, causing K1B0 to stop.

He will then proceed to take the photograph, stare at it with a sad expression before going limp, after which his chest cavity will open up to reveal his “heart”/core and the final remanent artifact. Kai takes the core and the robot shuts down for good, freeing the spirit trapped inside.

After that is over with, Kai is rescued by his fellow employees, his boss, phone guy, and a spirit median they had brought along. Wanting to know what happened, Kai remarks it’s a long story and promises to tell them everything while the median remarks that “a great evil has left this place”.

Despite all the hardships, Kai chooses to stay with the company as he gets promoted and they go ahead with their grand opening now that the place is no longer haunted and we see a screen similar to the Normal Ending, this time with the newspaper reading “Grand Opening”, a bigger payout on the check, and a “You’re Promoted” flier. Effectively putting FF’s past to rest for good and the new company set in stone for success.

A small post credits scene will play out with Kai and his girlfriend at a memorial site set up in honor of the lives lost to Danganrompa placing down the artifacts found. 10 of the spirits (Barring Tsumugi) can be seen in the background in a group watching the sunset.

Also present and more prominent is the spirits of an older boy holding the hand of a man wearing a lab coat that can be seen smiling at Kai and the others.

This game would also have a neutral ending akin to that of the regular Fnaf 1 ending if none of the conditions are met for the True Ending, simply displaying a paycheck and a newspaper that reads “Grand Opening Delayed Again”

Capcom Addresses Dragon's Dogma 2 PC Performance And Microtransaction Backlash

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the year’s most anticipated games, and by most accounts, the experience lives up to the hype. The game has earned rave reviews from most critics, including a 9 out of 10 from us. But now that it’s out in the wild, Steam players have bombarded the RPG with negative reviews due to its problematic launch performance and day-one microtransactions.

In terms of performance problems, Steam players have reported issues such as framerate drops, freezes, and crashes. Capcom has already acknowledged these issues in a Steam blog post where it says, “To all those looking forward to this game, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience,” and adds, “We are investigating/fixing critical problems such as crashes and freezing. We will be addressing crashes and bug fixes starting from those with the highest priority in patches in the near future.” 

In regards to the frame rate issues, Capcom writes, 

“A large amount of CPU usage is allocated to each character and calculating the impact of their physical presence in various areas. In certain situations where numerous characters appear simultaneously, the CPU usage can be very high and may affect the frame rate. We are aware that in such situations, settings that reduce GPU load may currently have a limited effect; however, we are looking into ways to improve performance in the future.”

The console versions have their own frame rate issues, as noted in our review by writer Jesse Vitelli who noted, “However, large-scale battles are where you will see the performance on consoles take a big hit. When I had multiple enemies on screen, and a pawn would cast a big spell, the frame rate would dip tremendously.”

The game’s microtransactions have also drawn much of players’ ire. In addition to selling Rift Crystals, the game’s currency, most fans are upset that the game sells useful exploration gear such as Portcrystals, fast-travel points that you can place in a chosen destination (though you still need another item, Ferrystones, to use it, which isn’t for sale). Capcom is also selling the Art of Metamorphosis book, an item that allows players to redesign their character and revive items (Wakestones). You can purchase all of these items at once in the “A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack” bundle, which comes included in the game’s Deluxe Edition.  

Capcom addressed these complaints in the same blog post, pointing out that the following items can be obtained through normal gameplay:

If you want extra quantities of any of those items, you have the choice of paying real money for them instead of getting them the old-fashioned way, so they basically serve as optional convenience skips. While it’s absolutely understandable why players would be annoyed regardless, this is actually quite normal for Capcom titles. The recent Resident Evil and Monster Hunter games, for example, all offer microtransactions of similar scope and have faced comparatively minimal, if any, pushback. 

Still, fans are taken aback by their appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and without context for how rare or easy-to-obtain these items are in the game, some players believe the game’s intentionally challenging/inconvenient design was done to push players towards these purchases to ease the experience. Others simply cite the age-old argument that full-priced games ($69.99 in Dragon’s Dogma 2’s case) shouldn’t charge additional money for in-game items at all. 

Combined with the aforementioned performance issues, disgruntled players have flooded the game with bad reviews to the point that it currently has a “Mostly Negative” Steam rating just hours after launch. Despite this initial chilly reception, it doesn’t appear that Capcom will be altering its monetization plans for now. 

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
