I actually didn't see what most people want to see are are saying they saw. I didn't see what u saw, anon. I didn't think it was awkward at all. Taekook were fine. If anything its the Taegis who should be crying because that thing where Suga snubs V is still a thing apparently 😂 I find it funny.

Anyway, V said he didn't plan to be on camera. Now this is V we're talking about, so idk how true this is 🤭 but I wouldn't read too much into how JK treated him. Because this is a huge part of Taekook's dynamic. V annoys JK, JK snaps or pushes him off and they move on. Kinda like Yoonmin and their bickering but its JK telling V off or ignoring him all together. V likes to disturb the maknae, he's always done it. Even when JK has been annoyed by it. V don't care, he's played that hyung card since time immemorial.

But V got lost in the bg and I even forgot he was there so I think people made his presence a bigger deal than it was. In my opinion anyway. Did he need to be there? I'm gonna say no. His presence there seemed a bit pointless compared to Jimin making an appearance during Taemin's. Which ig could mean V really didn't plan on being on camera? But I have my doubts coz well, it's V 🤭

Anyway, imo that episode was fine. I personally didn't have an issue with anything. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Funny enough, I said that about Kirsten‘s absence possibly being good news for Foggy, too. So maybe you saw my tweet lol

But I don’t want anyone to think I have anything against Kirsten. She is my favourite female character in DD comics and I was excited for her to be in live action DD

It was no judgement on her character or on Nikki M. James. Just a theory. Under the cut, I will be referencing leaks/spoilers etc. So read at own risk

Many of us saw Foggy getting shot and potentially killed on leaked pics. Most, including me, suspected it would be early in the season because the existence of “Nelson, Murdock and Page” directly contradicted the existence of “Murdock and Associates”, the firm Matt and Kirsten allegedly have or had in Born Again.

However, if the story including Murdock and Associates is written out or at least postponed until a later season, Foggy’s death (coma?witness protection?) might not be as early as we thought.

(I think this is further supported by the fact that the scenes of Matt and Frank are in the final episode of part one and Matt wears the same suit as in his fight against Bullseyes after Bullseye attacks Foggy. Allegedly, he switches suits during the series but apparently not between the Frank scenes and the Bullseye fight.)

Just my thoughts and a theory. I might be very wrong lol

So when people say Kirsten not being in BA is good for Foggy this isn’t necessarily pitting them against each other, but just a logical conclusion because Matt only needs a new partner when Foggy isn’t available.

However, it’s also possible Kirsten is still in it and just recast because Nikki M. James’ schedule is no longer free due to all the delays of Born Again.

But before Brooks takes over this ask, I’m real glad that my Team Canada posts have become a defining factor of my account! I never meant to post this much about Canadian basketball but I actually really enjoy it. And it’s definitely both Raptors/Rockets over here. 🇨🇦

And then the last part…listen, I have to explain myself. 🤣 I know I’ve been flinging Dillon Brooks’ name into Tumblr uncensored 😭. This is good timing to talk about all this because the Olympics are coming up too (and he's gonna be doing stuff, I know).

I’ll split this into a short answer and a longer one under the cut. 😭😭

Short Answer: I don’t necessarily sympathize with him all of the time — he has done CRIMES after all — but I am perpetually amused by his existence. I’m usually looking at him like, “why are you like this?” 🤨🤔 I like him AND hate him at the same time for various reasons, like sometimes he is The Best and other times he is The Worst. 

I do know that when I decided to talk about him on here, it was scary at first because he is so hated (for valid reasons). But I was like, I can’t NOT talk about how amusing he is to me! I also find it immensely funny that my posts on him always end up framing him as "some guy on the team". 😃

I will say though if you hate him, DO NOT let me or my posts stop you. He is a villainous menace. If you don’t want to see him, mute my dbrooks tag!

P.S. If you know Molly Morrison on Twitter/Tumblr, just know I highly relate to what she’s said about Dillon Brooks over the years. 😭😭

Longer Answer (aka the backstory lore of WHY): 

When I restarted my Tumblr account, I met Tumblr user siakam. One of the topics we discussed was the cursed idea of a Fred VanVleet and DB fanfic, because we thought they could be enemies thanks to their conflicting personalities. I was intrigued, but I didn’t know anything about Brooks’ personality. Sadly I do love researching things... 😭😭

This research collided with the NBA season/me getting into Rockets basketball/me catching up on FIBA content…so by accident, Brooks was everywhere. 😩 Houston had a honeymoon period with him and he took over the Team Canada run (and stole the hearts of the announcers and the photographers and the reporters and the crowd) so because of that, most of Canada now ADORES him.

(Do you realize how many Canadian compliments I have to read about this beloved Canadian menace. NO YOU DON’T. 😭💖)

Most of what I read about his personality, which was buried underneath all the media reports of his menacing, was just…normal and wholesome? At least I understand now why the Grizzlies sideline reporter always called him her favourite player, and why all his Grizzlies/Team Canada teammates/coaching staff love him so much. 

That being said, I don’t always agree with his actions though. He chose to do things to teams/star players and he should take the consequences for those actions.

Yes, I do love trash talking, yes, I do enjoy taunting (one of my favourite trash talking quotes is from Donovan Mitchell actually). He did a lot of things to GSW that went too far for me at times. I feel like the intense wave of hatred from last summer was good for him because it brought him down to earth (his ego is still sky high though). He’s been a bit better on the Rockets, more willing to admit his mistakes. But still. Sometimes he doesn’t play basketball and it pisses me off. 🤬

Anyway, apologies for the long paragraphs, but I did have more to say and I couldn’t squish it into something brief. 💔 If you did read all of this, I hope you enjoyed the extra xariarte lore! 💖

When i was younger i would post a lot on social media. People always knew what i was up to cause it would be in my ig story, twitter, or facebook. I used to love dressing up and taking pictures and i honestly felt really validated by the likes and male attention i got. Now that im typing this, i remember being addicted to social media as far back as when MySpace was popping lmao. It makes me sick to my stomach and embarrassed when i think about how starved i was for people to see me and like me but im gonna be real😭

Anyways, when i was 18 and a senior i got a job that made everyone around me suck up to me and i loved that attention too lmaoo. Im not gonna say where i worked cause i wanna remain anonymous but just know that it was a cute lil job for someone my age. Especially since i was still in high school at the time. It was expected for employees to look nice so now i had a reason to dress up everyday and do my makeup. It’s so crazy because I have Rahu + Mars in Leo in the 6th house and the dispositor is Sun in Libra lol. It was a sales job (Mars rules competition) Rahu rules makeup, Leo energy is glamorous; and the 6th house relates to your work environment AND everyday routine idc what anyway says!

(It’s actually funny how i got that job. I was in there with my friends and decided to randomly ask one of the employees if they were hiring. She turned out to be the manager and she surprised me by asking me to do a mock sale with a shoe and after that i was hired! 10th ruled by Jupiter tings 💫 Now i wanna see what the transits were looking like on that day omg!)

So while at that job, i would post even more pictures and got validated even more on social media. I would also meet random guys who would come into the store just to talk to me. One guy ended up being the catalyst for why im even into astrology now by that’s a story for another day lmao.

I quit that job after a year and a few months later i ended up working another sales job in the same mall that was even more better than that the previous job. I ended up getting a call back literally as soon as i got back home from the interview (10th house Sag!). It was only for a season but it was another job that required me to look nice and i did! Still was posting and loving the attention.

Once that job was over, I went to college and was turnt the fuck up. That’s when I started to REALLY grow into my looks and was really feeling myself and posting online even more than before. I was also getting lots of attention in real life on campus so you know my ass was hype😂😂

But anyways, i said all this and still didn’t get to the point of why im posting. When you have Mercury in the 9th house there is no such thing as getting straight to the point lolol.

Ok, my point of this was to reflect on how when i was doing all of that posting online, girls wanted to be my friend and guys wanted to date(fuck) me. I’ve even had a girl inbox me saying something like “you’re pretty i want to be your friend.” It rubbed me the wrong way, only because i feel like she only said that because of what i was posting on social media and how she perceived my life to be. People i knew already, would always tell me that i looked like i was having fun and i was always going out so i could only imagine what the people who didn’t know me were thinking.

Idk, I saw a post on twitter that said it’s something weird behind a girl who tries too hard to be your friend and it made me think about all of this lmao. It made me think about how as a Pisces, whenever i tell people how i be getting depressed and sad sometimes, they always be surprised cause they think im a happy person who is always having fun. I stopped posting on social media so much when i realized how much people were perceiving me by what i posted. It didn’t feel good anymore. Cause even though i wanted validation from others, that’s not something i realized at the time. I thought i was just posting because i wanted to share my life and thought it was harmless. Even worse.. They place her name after Kishimoto’s behind “Original Story by:” as if Kishimoto is the one who wrote it and Esaka just helped him with it or something. 

Well.. they did that on the original cover too. But that’s not even true. This story, this SS-fantasy fanfic Wattpad self-insert is only from Esaka. She said so herself:

“My story.”

“Original story” can mean many things. It can also mean ‘Naruto’. That’s a great loophole because the tweet isn’t tied to legal matters, but the cover is. Which then in this case it’s the best marketing strategy. Make people believe Kishimoto actually wrote this shit so it looks Canon? Make his Twitter account that isn’t actually his Twitter account tweet about it excitedly? Genius. I’ll give em that.

But then.. just treat the damn thing for what it is, right? A fanfic. 

Yet SNS-fans are fueling SS-shippers by fighting them... why?

How is Naruto clutching his chest in pain and staggering his feet forward to Sasuke begging him to wait and not leave the village.. romantic?????? How is Sasuke ignoring Naruto’s pleas and this copy of Sasuke and Sakura’s scene where he left her on a bench- but worse, a SNS-moment? Of course SS-shippers are mocking that. Saying “Naruto wants to be Sakura so bad 🤡” It hurts, but I can’t even blame them. It is actively MOCKING SNS. THAT IS THE WHOLE GODDAMN POINT. Esaka wrote many moments mocking Naruto in that stupid novel. This won’t be the last time this happens- are they going to try and defend every single thing? Are they going to depict every original SNS-moment that Esaka gave to SS and tweet “they wanna be SNS so bad 🤡” because that would be a full day’s worth of work I can tell you that. You can start with the cover. 

I do have to say that the adaptation is infinitely better story-wise than the novel. Prisoners for example had no reason to hate Sasuke and I already talked about this before. I said something along the lines of them needed to start a fight or something and they did. Also them needing to leave out the sob-story of the first prisoner and they did. All the critique I had in the first bit from the novel they fixed. So story-wise at least they agree with me that Esaka can’t write. 

At least that’s a win lmao. 

But you know what is most funny about it? Their ship gets a novel revolved around them.. or two actually even aside from the “official” marketing bs that already existed. A whole-ass Manga-adaptation and an official English translation for said novel on the way.. and what do they do? Enjoy it? Nah. They immediately run to Twitter to start make fun of SNS. 

Now can anyone tell me why that is 💀

Could it be that they feel like they need to prove something? Could it be that the need to make Naruto or SNS look inferior in that moment is more important? Why would that be?!

I am so sorry this took me so long to answer anon! I wanted to give it the proper reply it deserved!! Because this question is so fun and cute and I realllyyyy loved answering it's twin about rina!

Ok so first I LOVE the idea of Jetney. Howie is feral for all I care. The ONLY thing he is getting from me is that I liked his song S2 but that. is. it!! He literally lied to Kourtney, made her feel insecure because he was??? (this sounds like some stupid thing a guy would send me on a dating app lmao), and then Kourtney said S3 "he's probably off to college kissing other girls". Like bb?? Are you ok? You two, canonically, have not broken up yet and you think he's kissing other girls?? I- trash. Sewer.

But Jetney 💛💛 I love them!! (and yes because their color was yellow in color wars and the color of Jet's duck, I automatically associate it with them lol). I think Jet received a lot of negative attention his whole life (yes, attention, but it was negative which made him isolate like he did). And then we have Kourtney who kind of got abandoned by those closest to her (Howie and Nini), not to mention how much she "Elsa'd" and isolated because of her anxiety. I think both of them are a) lonely and b) treated like side characters/outcasters a little bit compared to their counterparts. Does this remind you of anyone from HSM? (*cough* Chad and Taylor *cough*). They both put up with a lot from people they loved and are now coming into their own, reminding themselves that they are great and deserve great things too (honestly it's also very rina of them if you ask me). And let's not forget to mention all of the little hints throughout the episodes (which Adrian confirmed he did on purpose), as well as Kourtney not seeming mad when Jet said he liked her/saying she "needed to call her agent" and not Howie (whereas the characters before her said their SO's). I just like them sm.

And this one is harder for me because rina was so straight forward with where they are going with the show. In the best way, I think we are going to get even more surprises from Jetney and it will be really awesome/cute to see how the show plans to get them together. So, like Rina, I am going to put things I hope/feel realistic for us to see this season:

-I genuinely think we are going to see Jet working a bit to get Kourtney. Maybe she'll talk about how Howie burned her so she lacks some trust in boys.

-I also think we are going to see, even if it is just for a part of a song, them singing together. But I would LOVE for them to actually have a full song together, preferably a ballad or a power ballad so we can really hear their vocals.

-I think we will get ricky/gina teasing jet/kourtney about liking the other and encouraging them to "go for it"

-Or even Maddox complaining about wanting Ashlyn (because she finally built that trust back up to talk to Jet about it) and he's like, "just go for it!" and she just gives him the LARGEST eyebrow raise. She's just like, "boy??? Then what have you been doing????" hahahahhaa

-I saw this on twitter and honestly don't know if it will happen but I would D*E if it did, but like kourtney and jet get together so ricky or gina go "geez! what took you guys so long?" and all you get are blank stares and crickets from everyone in the room at rina 😭😂😂

-I would LOVE a scene where Kourtney's mom meets Jet and is like, "yeah, he's the one". Maybe she even compares him to Howie?

-Let's be real, if Jetney become an official couple before the end of s4 (which I see as VERY likely), Jet is going to be the biggest simp for Kourtney. Like she will 100% have control in the relationship and he will just let it slide (with delight). Which is so funny because imagine him sassing ricky like he usually does (just brutal and honest) and then kourt says something to him and he's just like, "yes dear?" Queen/simp energy for sure.

-Also, I know I am saying Kourtney will have queen energy but it absolutely all for show and I think when she is kind of alone with him her walls come down a lot. She will probably open up to him about her anxiety and act superrrr embarrassed when he flirts with her (in the best way). I also could see her giving him a little pet name. Or even better, we see everyone show up for rehearsal or something and jetney is just already there in the background but kourtney has her arms around his neck and is just like giggling and flirting with him :')

-Again, another one I am not sure will happen, but I would LOVE if we saw something where Jet goes into "defensive boyfriend mode". Like he sees guys flirting with Kourt because of the show or someone is giving kourtney a hard time about something and he tells them off (very ricky bowen of him haha). I would love to see it!!

-And yes!!! a double date is the one I want the MOST. Like just seeing the boys be absolutely flabbergasted at how beautiful their girls are. And they're both just ✨embarrassingly✨ in love with them the whole date. And like I wouldn't even want the date to be angsty or anything. It's just cute and fun. I would really enjoy moments like that too!

second, your assumption could also prolly be because i reblog a ton of fanart?? that and i do hang out with people who are both artists and writers, except i don’t really have the talent to draw?? 😅 i’ve done a few drawings here and there but nothing major and groundbreaking like my friends ksjdjs so i’m no hidden artist 😂

so if you don’t already know, i’ve actually been in the fandom since 2016, i watched s1 as it aired, but the hiatus from s1 to s2 was so long i kinda forgot that ml existed so i left? then in 2020 the pandemic happened and for some reason i’m reminded of ml again and i dived straight into fanfics (and not the show 😞) anyway, a while later i started watching the show and im like omg plagg’s image in my head is so different so i drew him note: this is still very far from what i have had in mind but it’s what i could produce so 🤷🏻‍♀️

next in 2021 i saw a meme on twitter and went hey wouldn’t it be funny if ladynoir was like this so yea 😂

Alright. It’s finally the review time for this epic episode. Brace yourselves, because this is probably gonna be a long one. (Spoilers ahead)

-Probably the first thing that stuck to me was Koharu (Chloe) telling Ash she was a bit nervous about the Alola trip and Ash telling her that the people there are great. Good way to start this love letter to Alola!

-Then we get to Aether family’s homecoming party. Poor Mohn must have been so confused after all those years of absence, a Lot of things have changed since he disappeared. Loved also Lillie’s reunion with all her friends, and funnily enough Kiawe’s first appearance in that episode was one of the moments that got the biggest reactions out of me. It’s great to see he’s still the same dramatic himself 😂

-Also called Lana and Koharu having a talk about their Eevees! I thought it was a nice talk even though idk how I’d feel if Koharu’s Eevee didn’t evolve. To me the most logical conclusion after all these Eeveelution episodes would be to give her a brand new Eeveelution that we haven’t seen yet. 

-At this point I could also mention that before seeing this episode I was slightly nervous about whether any of the characters would bring up the Masters 8 tournament or not but it turned out I was worried for nothing! That part of the episode was handled really well and I loved how Gladion and Kiawe both had followed Ash’s progress closely and wanted to get stronger as well! (Now I’m sad that I didn’t pay enough attention to Gladion’s reaction to Lillie’s revelation about them having watched Ash’s battles when I first watched the episode because I only really noticed it when I saw the screenshots on twitter. But that was still hilarious)

-Then to the profs’ home scene! That was just... everything an Alolan lab family fan can hope for and more. From the ‘eeeenjoy’ moment (I find it funny the animators ended up adding paper towels on the sofa in the final version even tho we couldn’t see them in the preview :’D Gotta keep those furniture clean!) to Ash getting excited about the Battle Royal to Kukui telling him he wanted to battle Ash as himself to Lei mimicking Ash... I bet Go and Koharu were thinking ‘man, these guys really are a family’. (And yes, the Dragonite hugging Kukui part was also adorable)

-the Battle Royal: First of all I loved seeing all the ppl in the audience, we even saw a glimpse of Hau and Team Skull! I was also really happy that my wishes about who Ash gets to battle came true. It tells something about Ash’s current level as a trainer that Kukui, Kiawe and Gladion all decided to team up on him and they still couldn’t win (Also the glimpses of Kiawe vs Gladion rivalry were great, I love those two). I also didn’t mind that they didn’t show us the winner of that battle because it really wasn’t that significant - it was about Ash realizing that he had people rooting for him and supporting him, and that to them he really IS their champion. I don’t think I even need to specifically mention that the ‘champion’ chant got to me because of course it did. And Ash’s reaction...  damn. Boy, yes, you did it, you got this far, and now we’re all rooting for you to kick that Leon’s butt in the tournament :’) (sidenote: perhaps 1 teeny tiny thing I would have changed about this episode and the Battle Royal scene would have been bringing TRio to announce the battle instead of Wicke and Faba. I know TR already got their Alola comeback in an earlier episode but I personally felt that Alola was their home too the same way it was to Ash and it would have been a fun addition to see them too. But can’t have everything!)

-And then the final scene. Oh boy I’m glad I did not get spoiled on that one (unlike with a few other scenes). It was yet another moment that me as the Alolan father&son fan & Alola fan in general can not find absolutely anything to complain about. I may have squealed a bit when I realized what was about to happen :’D From Ash telling he was glad he came to Alola to Tapu Koko showing up and giving Ash its blessings and the narrator telling us the people of Alola would be rooting for Ash... This is the ending Sun&Moon deserved (although I hope this is not /the end/... I do acknowledge that we are probably not going back to Alola in JN anymore but let. Ash’s. Alolan. fam. and. friends. be. in the audience in the M8 tournament because he deserves that). And now I’m getting a bit emo :’( I love S&M so much and I don’t want to say bye to these characters again. 

-Ahem, changing the topic, I also loved that they used S&M music throughout the whole episode, in fact I saw someone saying that there was only 1 Sword/Shield track used in it. It was so direct continuation to S&M that when the preview started, showing Go during his PM mission, I had to stop for a moment like ‘oh, this is JN we’re watching’. 

In conclusion: I loved this episode, 11/10, WILL watch again. (Ps. oh and Ash’s love for Alola and the people and pokemon there really is something else. Yes, he likes all the places and people but the way his caring for this region is portrayed... it does hit different)

today is the anniversary of the trailer of episode 4(19/08), the day we saw this trailer was so good and funny, it was 2019 and i remember that the trailer for ep 4 wasn't going to be revealed on the game's twitter as usual, it was to be revealed in a live, but we had to leave on the day, we had to go to our English course, and by the time we need to go, i was in my/our bedroom then I went to put it on the live, and we were already all dressed up to leave, until then nothing had appeared, then, showed an image of a desert, we get all curious and serious, like, "is it?", then I gave one of the headphones to marina, it showed a more close view of the sirouette of the person walking in the desert, then we only heard sean's voice, we two get all "SEAN!!💕", ha-ha, we started freaking out! (at that time people believed a lot in a theory that said that sean had died and that the person in the desert was daniel, I always believed that sean had not died and he was the person, come on he was the protagonist of a choice game he can't die in the middle of the game, but I was a little worried because people believed a lot, so, imagine my/our joy when was revealed that he really was the person in the desert, we get all crazy), then, it showed sean's new look and I was just like "sean is bald!, damnit, why didn't I think of that, it was so obvious, so that was the meaning of the photo of the scissors, i mean i get it that the meaning was that he/they would change visuals, but i didn't thought of a buzzcut (at the time the twitter of this game used to put some images without context of the things that were going to have in the episodes (I don't know if 1, 2, and 3 had that, but 4 and 5 did), wow, sean is looking different, he looks kind of adult" i thought, it showed agent Flores, it was love at first sight i already sympathized with her only seeing it the trailer, i almost had a heart attack when it showed the scene of sean being surrounded by two strange dudes, but when the next scene showed the dude punching sean i got relieved "phew💨, he'll just get punched" (I thought it would happen something else, tho this scene still gives me cof cof rape vibes not gonna lie💦), the trailer appeared at the right time, because then we left right away, we spent the whole day just talking about the trailer, and we were reviewing/analyzing it at the end of the class while we waited for our parents to pick us up, I was all admiring sean and thought "ha-ha, he looks like a favela boy with that hair😂, aww, but I'm finding him so handsome with it💕, hmph, I bet people will joke that he's looking ugly😑💨" (which is what really happened), kinda frustrating, the trailer of ep4 is really cool/tense, but the episode itself is kinda boring, the day of the trailer was good, different from the day of the episode, I mean, it was also good too, but a little troubled, I felt very sick/drained at the end of ep4/the day, i get into it on another day (of course, if i get to write it💦)
