“It was difficult to pass Carlos in the beginning of the race. He made my life very difficult”
“I probably wouldn’t been able to pass Carlos if he didn’t make a mistake”
“I think that’s why everyone struggled to get pass Carlos, because he gets the good exit, he has good traction”
And smiling every time he mentions Carlos 🥺
Thank you so much @stufframblings

Translation: Mick about the 2025 Mercedes seat
Source: Sky Sport F1 Germany
I: "If you had one wish - winning Le Man's ir a Formula 1 seat? What would you take?"
Mick: *sighs heavily* "That's an easy question. Formula 1 is the big dream for me, still, the great love, so an F1 seat is still the big goal."
I: "Mick, now the silver arrow, this cockpit will be available next season. Would you be a candidate for it? Would you put yourself in the seat?
Mick: "I - I *has to laugh* If I would put myself in that seat? I think the answer is yes. But in the end it is a position that brings a lot of pressure with it, which I, nevertheless, see myself up to in my opinion. But it's not my decision to make. And that's a decision I have to respect. And time will tell what the outcome will be and I'm excited."

Christian Friedel for Süddeutsche Zeitung
Detailed Explanation about the photos below the cut:
This is a famous column of the news paper where they ask actors to answer the questions only with facial expressions/ poses etc.
The 10 questions were:
1. You say about yourself that you have a “historical face”. Could you show us?
2. Going to a demonstration or staying home?
3. Your mood at the Berlinale?
4. What interests you of horror?
5. Since your first movie was The White Ribbon, how can you top that?
6. Private: Cinema or Netflix?
7. How does it look like when you go out fully?
8. You learned how to ride for The Zone of Interest. How do you feel on a horse?
9. What does an actor do to combat a growing ego?
10. How do you react when something does not go according to your plan?

Outing myself as an adult who habitually watches children's shows here, but I really, really appreciate this year's "Die Sendung mit der Maus" summer journey! (For the non-Germans: Die Sendung mit der Maus is a publicly funded educational / entertainment program for kids that has existed since the 70s). Like, I've watched some of the past years' summer journeys in their archives and travelling through Germany or certain German regions for 6 weeks is still pretty interesting (some of their most interesting segments, tbh). But having a host with a migration background travel to Morocco, where her family came from, and talk about both their immigrant experiences and interesting things you can find in Morocco is just ... chef's kiss!
This show has gotten so GOOD!
