Healing After Heartbreak
Pairing: Jensen x Rowan Masters (OFC)
Mentions: Jared, Gen and the SPN cast, Rowan’s friends Chloe, Meg and Ava
Summary: After going through a nasty divorce that leaves Jensen heartbroken and alone will a chance encounter with a fan at Jibcon give him a new hope that he can find love again?
This my first attempt and writing a fanfic of any kind. All mistakes are mine. Any suggestions on approving my writing are welcomed. This will be a multi chapters fic . At this time I don't know how many yet.
Chapter One
Jensen’s point of view:
Jensen woke with a groan. Confusion etched on his freckled face. Why was someone pounding on his front door at this hour? “Wait?” he thought to himself. “What time is it anyhow?”. He stretched out his arm and picked up his phone from the nightstand to check the time. 4am! “What the hell!” he thought squinting at the screen. Sighing as he looked at his phones wallpaper. His three kids stared back at him, a pic from happier times; laughing on the beach. The last family vacation before the divorce. Now days he barely gets out of bed. He misses his kids and dog. She took everything he loved from him. He tried to fight back the tears that threaten to fall. Sniffing he went to lay his phone down when it started ringing in his hand.
The screen lit up with a pic of Jared smiling at him. Swiping the screen he answered “Hey Jared, this better be good it’s 4 in the morning.” “Dude get your ass down here and let me in. I’ve been pounding on your door for 20 minutes” came Jared’s reply. Jensen rolled his eyes as he stood up from the bed. Holding the phone with one hand Jensen used his free hand to hike his black boxers back up from where they were hang precariously low on his hips. “Yeesh, don’t your get boxers in a bunch I’m coming.” Jensen muttered into the phone. He can hear Jared sighing on the other end. “Are you even packed to go? You know we have to leave early to catch our flight.” Jared asked.
Jensen padded down the hall stopping briefly at the top of the stairs he tried to rack his brain about what Jared was talking about. He hurried down the steps towards to front door. He turned off the security system and unlocked the door, stepping back he pulled the door open. Jared rushed in and looked at Jensen. Upon seeing his best friend standing before him wearing only a pair of wrinkled boxers and sporting some serious bed head, Jared exclaimed “Dude why are you not dressed to go?” Puzzled Jensen just stood there staring at him. “What are you talking about? Where are we going, we don’t have a con to JIB on the 20th’’ Jared slapped his hand across his face. “Man have you looked at the date lately? Today is the 18th, we have to catch our flight to Rome this morning. Daniela needs us there earlier then normal this time.” Jensen looked stunned as he stared open mouthed at Jared. “No, it can’t be the 18th yet.” He doubled checked the date on his phone.”SHIT!” he exclaims. Turning on his heal Jensen bolts for the stairs hollering over his shoulder at Jared “How long do i have to get ready?” Jared tossed his head back and started laughing. “Don’t worry Jay, we have two hours before we have to be at the airport to catch our flight. I know your most likely forgot with the divorce being finalized last week, so I showed up way early to get your ass moving” Jensen stopped mid step and came back down the steps and slapped Jared across the back of his head. “Way to freak me out Jared!” Jensen exclaimed, then wrapped him in a quick hug mumbling “Thanks man, I’d be a total mess with out you”. Jared smiled and said “I know.” Turning away from Jared, Jensen made his way back up to his room to shower and pack.
Once back in his room he stripped of his boxers and tossed then towards the ever growing pile of dirty clothes in the corner. He then padded across the room to the master bathroom. Once inside he turned on the shower and let it warm up before stepping in. Standing in the shower lathering up his body he got lost in his thoughts. He knew he needed to get his act together and start acting like the grown ass man he is. He started making a mental list of stuff he needed to get done.
Stepping out of the shower he grabbed a towel and wiped off the water drops running down across his chest and arms before slinging it around his waist. He then saunters into his room pull open a drawer and grabbing a pair of boxer briefs out. He drops the towel on the pile of dirty clothes and slips them on moves to grab a pair of clean jeans and a t-shirt. He grabs the dirty clothes and starts a load of laundry while grabbing his go to backpack and sliver suitcase and started packing. By the time his laundry was washed and dried he was packed and ready to go. Once back down stairs he found Jared in the kitchen eating an apple from the fruit bowl on the island. “Hey you finally ready Jay” asks Jared. “Yep! I just want to grab some breakfast quick” replied Jensen. He turned and rummaged in the nearest cabinet and producing a granola bar. He then went to the fridge and pulled out a protein drink. After downing the food Jensen wiped his mouth with the back of is hand. Looking at his best friend he patted him on the shoulder and said “OK lets get going buddy, it’s going to be a long ass flight”
Once out of the house and Jensen’s bags were loaded in to Jared’s SUV it was a 30 minute ride to the airport. Upon arrival they got checked in and went through security showing their passports and boarding information to the lady at the gate. After finding their seats and stowing their carry on bags they got settled into their seats and buckled their lap belts.
Jensen let out a big sigh as he looked out the window. “What’s wrong bro” asked Jared. Sighing again Jensen turned towards Jared. “I’m worried about all the questions fans will be asking about the divorce.” Jared reached over and gave Jensen’s hand a squeeze and reassured him by saying “Don’t worry Jay, I got your back man, we all do. Rob, Rich and everyone else is there for you. We will make a announcement before we start addressing the fact that you will not be answering any question regarding your personal life.” “Not everyone has my back.” Jensen says with a sigh before continuing “You know Misha took her side and hates me. We both know he will make digs towards me every chance he can while there. He loves trying to make me out to be the bad guy.” Jared patted his arm as the plane taxied down the runway for takeoff. Once in the air the guys reclined their seats and settled in for the long flight ahead. Both drifting off about thirty minutes into the flight.
Mean While In Rome
Rowan’s Point of View:
The small cafe was still busy with the lunch rush when Rowan and her friends arrived. They were laughing and giggling as they walked up to the door. With a sigh Rowan looked around at her friends. Their two week European vacation was almost over. This was going to be their last weekend of fun, clubbing and living it up before heading back to the states. Even though they were all were pushing 40 they where still young and carefree at heart. Next week they would be back at home in Texas at their boring 9 to 5 jobs.
Meg lead the way in the door, a small sliver bell tinkled above their heads as the entered. A young woman wearing a black apron greats them, “Hello, I’m Gloria how may I help you ladies this afternoon?” “Hello my friend's and I would like a table please.” answered Meg with a bright smile. “Sure just follow me.” Gloria lead them through the cafe to a table by one of the beautiful windows. “How’s this ladies” asked Gloria. Rowan looks at her “It’s perfect, thank you.” “Sure, no problem.” She hands each of them a menu and asks if she can get them anything to drink. They decide on ice teas for all.
As the waitress walked away Rowan cleared her throat. “So what do you guys want to do for our last weekend in Rome?” Chloe looked at the other two and giggled. Rowan gave her a suspicious look “Oh god what do you three have cooked up? How drunk are you going to get me?” Ava’s eyes smiled with mischief as Chloe pulled a manila envelope from her bag. Giggling she told Rowan “Oh we are not getting drunk. We are gonna want to remember this weekend for the rest of our lives.” “Oh god what did you do Chloe!?” exclaimed Rowan. Her friend handed her the envelope “Just open it, this is going to be so much fun!” Taking it from her out stretched hand, Rowan took a deep breath before opening it. She reached in and pulled out four identical plastic bags. Each one hand one of their names on. She grabbed the one with her name scrawled across it in black marker. She opened up the bag and pulled out the top item, a lanyard with a plastic card hanging on it. Turning it in her hands Rowan read what the card said. “OMG!” she squealed. “You got us tickets to Jibcon? No way!” she exclaimed. Giggling, Meg told Rowan “Check out the other tickets in your bag’’ Rowan dumped out the rest of the contents of her bag onto the table in front of her. She grabbed the packet that had Photo ops written on it. Ripping it open she pulled them out and started reading off the names printed on them. “Lets see, we have Richard Speight Jr., Rob Benedict, Briana Buckmaster, Ruth Connell, Kim Rhodes, and Alexander Calvert.” Looking down she realized she dropped some. “Whoops dropped some” she said with a giggle. She looked at the names on the last few and went wide eyed. “OMFG!!!! you got me ops with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles!!!!” “Yep!” beamed her friends. “We have ops with them as well.’’ replied Chloe. Meg cleared her throat and looked at Rowan. “We know how messed up you’ve been since Nate cheated on you with Becky from accounting. He really broke your heart. This is our small way, besides this trip to get you out of your funk.” “Yeah, we don't like to seeing you so sad.” added Ava. Chloe reached over and took Rowan’s hand in hers and gave it a squeeze. “We all love you and want you to be happy again. Maybe you’ll meet someone while we are over here. Maybe even at Jibcon. Who knows? Right?’’ Rowan sighed and looked at her friends with tears in her eyes. “Thank you ladies so much! I don’t know what I’d do without you all. This surprise is just what I need to break be out of my funk. I really do need to move on,its been six months of heartache and tears.” She raised her glass and proclaimed “To JIBCon and a weekend we will never forget!” They clicked their glasses together before taking a drink.
Just then Gloria approached their table “So ladies are you ready to order?’’ she asked with a smile. They placed their orders quickly and as the waitress walk towards the kitchen they began talking excitedly. Rowan looked at her friends. “If I’m meeting Jensen and Jared in two days we need to go shopping! I need to find something special to wear.” “Oh defiantly” agreed Ava. After finishing their lunch and paying their bill the four friends headed out to shop for the perfect outfits for what was going to be a weekend that none of them would ever forget.

Tumblr media
The lock behind you clicking locked sounded like music to your ears. Working straight after class from 4-12 was exhausting, to say the least, at a bar nonetheless. Annoying college frat boys, creepy old men, prostitutes (get the bag sis), you get it though life is hard.
“Only two more months then Im out of here…” You whispered under your breath. You were right though, only two more months at Standford and you were off to do big things in the world.
The walk back to your small apartment outside of campus was cold and damp. You could feel how moist the air was and the cold breeze hit your face and your legs, yet you loved this weather. Not too hot nor too cold just a bit chilly. The trees around you had orange leaves and every house you pass had pumpkins outside carved with scary or funny faces. Halloween was just around the corner. You were ready for it.
For the first time in two years, you were ready for this Halloween. After everything that happened.
Jess.
You couldn’t believe what happened when you found out that Jessica, one of your closest friends from elementary school was killed in a freak fire accident and her boyfriend Sam found her.
You, Sam, and Jess were inseparable at Stanford. Even days before her death you guys were at a bar celebrating Halloween. Well, jess was. You and Sam were wearing the most boring casual clothes ever. You both didn’t like the attention.
The Party scene, the crazy frat boys, insane sorority girls. Wasn’t your thing. It wasn’t his. But it was all for Jess. Which made the arrangement work.
You lost contact with Sam shortly after Jess’s death. Which stung. Thinking he was one of your best friends and you lost your other to the crazy fire. Yet, life goes on.
The door to your apartment was dull, no sign on the door. No welcome mat. Nothing that indicated a human living there. Thats how you liked it.
You opened the door to find it pitch black in the room before you.
Thats odd. Did I turn the lights off? I swear I don't remember turning them off before I left.
Your mind was racing with questions, you reached towards the left, using the dim hallway lighting to shine just enough for you to see your light switch. You flick it and your apartment shines.
Your apartment was dull. School textbooks on the counter, your backpack on the chair. Your small tv looked dusty in the living room from the lack of use, and the sad couches that hardly were sat on.
You were never home hardly, from working shifts at the bar and school. The only downtime you had was in your bedroom in the comfort of your bed with the latest Stephen King book at your disposal.
You hang your jacket on the hanger and throw your keys on the counter. You sigh loudly, your body was ready for that date to the bed.
A bang in your room made you break your train of thought. You turn your head towards your room and grab a kitchen knife. Slowly making your way towards your room, your heartbeat was picking up slowly.
Your door was open like it was before, but you could feel that something was off. You flicked the light on and nothing was there. But, you discovered that your window was wide open and your books from your end table were on the floor.
You walk towards the window and slide it shut and look out. Nothing seemed to be different yet...something felt off.
You took another breath before you felt arms lock your upper half. You scream and thrash to no avail.
"Please don't be scared...I'm just very hungry. You will come back...don't worry." The voice belonged to a man, you know. You thrashed again and looked up to see yourself looking back. Your mirror showed the man behind you.
He was a kid...maybe only 19? Looked like a freshman in college in his Standford Sweatshirt. But, his teeth were sharp. You kicked the wall and to your surprise, you broke his hold on you as you both fell to the ground.
This was your chance.
You collected yourself quickly running through the door and into the living room grabbing the closest thing to you for cover. Which in this case was a light fixture.
The boy walked through the door, his breaths were heavy. "Look I didn't want to hurt you. "
"Well, I really wanna hurt you."
Sam? That voice couldn't have been him.
A bang of a shotgun went off from your right, you looked to your side to not only see Sam but another guy with him with the shotgun. The man beside Sam seemed to notice you staring at him. His green eyes piercing into yours.
“Get behind me!” He yelled.
You didn’t have to think twice, you ran behind him and Sam while they took care of the deranged man.
“Close your eyes y/n.” Sam finally spoke to you, a machete in his hand. The man beside him was above the man that was kneeling down in pain with a shotgun pointed at his head. You looked back up at Sam, and his face was still just as handsome as it always was.
“Please.”
You finally closed your eyes. Hearing Sam’s footsteps move in front of you. I could hear the deranged man grunting, “Damn you Winchesters. One of these days. We will Kill you.”
“Well, good thing today isn’t the day then.” You could hear Sam’s voice and then a grunt following with a thud.
“Y/n keep your eyes closed. I don’t want you seeing this.”
You kept your eyes closed, tempted to open them. Just to see Sam. He is finally back… after everything that happened. He’s back.
Maybe this is just a dream?
What felt like hours of your eyes being closed was mere minutes as you heard grunting and a door close soon after.
“You can open your eyes now.”
You slowly opened your eyes, your eyes stung from the bright lights, your vision blurry. You reached your hand up and rubbed your eye one by one. The room was still lit with your lamps on the sides of the couch, but you could see the traces of dark red blood on the floor. You could see they were smeared like they were trying to clean it.
“You…. Killed that boy?” You looked up at Sam, the person you hung out with the most, missed the most after everything that has happened.
“He.. wasn’t a human. He was a vampire and he was gonna turn you Y/n.” Sam’s voice was so quiet, like he was afraid you would be scared of him. But, you knew Sam. He would never lie about this.
“This can’t be real…” You looked around and walked towards the couch. Sam following behind. Sitting beside you.
“It is…everything in the supernatural is. My family has hunted them for years…after my mother died from the yellowed eyed demon. Like Jess.” Sam’s voice cracked of mentioning Jess. You slide you hand in his and squeezed.
“A demon killed her?” You didn’t want to believe it, but it explains how weird her death was.
Sam took a breathe and looked at you, “Yes. He did. But, we are going to kill him. The guy that was with me, thats Dean. My brother. He basically raised me while dad hunted to avenge my mother. Now… it’s just me and him.”
Sam never talked about his family much, but he always mentioned his brother a few times. Which explains the facial similarities of the green eyed hunter.
I took a breathe and let his hand go and rubbed my arm,“Why was the Vampire coming for me?”
Sam sighed, “Me and Dean found leads from recent vampire attacks a few towns over. Has to be a nearby the university. Says why a lot of students went missing too.” You grabbed my phone to see it was now 1:45 am, how has it been almost two hours sense this all happened? “The boy that attacked you, went missing a few weeks back. He was sent to take you.”
“To be a vampire?” Your voice cracked a little in fear. Sam nodded, “I wouldn’t have let that happen. You deserve a good life.”
You finally did what you wanted to do for so long, you wrapped your arms around Sam and gave him a hug.
“Sam Winchester you deserve a good life too. Don’t sell yourself short. Thank you for saving my life.”
Sam hugged you back tight, like you were going to disappear any moment.
“Your not safe here Y/n. I got a motel room downtown. Pack clothes and bring a book. I need to know you will be safe.”
————————————————————————
2 weeks later
The last few weeks have been eventful to say the least… Sam came back, you met his Metallica loving brother, they rid of the vampire nest and overall you finally felt at ease after the two years of not knowing what happened to Jess.
Sam and Dean stayed near Stanford to keep an eye on you and make sure all is well. Coming down any other day and eating at the diner or having a drink at the bar, (which meant free drinks while your manager wasn’t working since you were the bartender), and having a new friend and your best friend back. All was well.
Yet, you could feel some tension between you and Sam. You’ve always had a small crush on him, who hasn’t though? His thick hair, his height, his hazel eyes, plus his personality? People would be crazy to not have a tiny crush on him.
But, with this small crush you could feel the guilt in the back of your mind. This man was one of your best friend’s boyfriend.
What would Jess think if she was alive?
“Y/n!” Sam’s voice snapped you out of your thoughts. You looked up at him, your popcorn still in your lap as you we’re watching Scream on the Tv with Sam.
You came back home a few days ago and Sam wanted to spend a night over, since tomorrow he and Dean will be heading to South Dakota to see a friend of the family’s.
“Yeah?”
“You okay? You’ve been quiet for 30 minutes and you usually never shut up about Billy and Stu.”
“I’m just thinking…”
Sam paused the movie and turned towards me. “Spill it.”
You sighed and laugh a little. “Sam, it’s nothing.”
Sam took the popcorn out of my hands and scooted closed towards me, “Must be something if you are quiet for a long period of time.”
You took a breathe, Sam wasn’t gonna give up until you told him what was on your mind, “I’m just thinking about my future. I guess.” You laughed nervously.
“Your future? What about it?”
“Just thinking about everything, what I’m gonna be doing, Where I will be, If I would marry. Stuff like that.” Sam looked at you seriously after you mentioning marriage.
“Y/n, if someone wouldn’t marry you. I would be very surprised. Who wouldn’t? Your funny, down to earth, strong and plus your personality is amazing.”
You laughed, “Yeah. No. I’m not the looks of someone to be married.”
Moments passed, The silence thickened. You could hear your own breathing and Sam set down the popcorn on the table and took the blanket off of me and him. “Get up and come with me.”
“What?”
Sam grabbed my hands and pulled me up towards him. “Come with me. I have to show you something.” As he said that he took your right hand in his and walked towards your room and opened the door.
Your room looked the same as it always did. Bed maid, your window closed, your books on the table.
Sam took you in front of the mirror, him standing behind you.
“What do you see?”
You look at him through the mirror and give him an odd look.
“What?”
Sam took a breath, “In the mirror, what do you see?”
“I see me…. We done?”
“No. You see yourself, what do you see about you? What do you like or dislike?”
You rolled your eyes, “What’s your point, Sam?”
"I want you to see the beautiful woman, I see."
Beautiful? He was talking about me? Your mind was spiraling in thoughts. Years of self-doubt, men leaving you since you didn't fit into their "desires". Just to have Sam, your best friend and crush call you beautiful looking at you with no makeup, shorts that showed your curve, thick thighs touching each other, and a tank top that didn't hide your bloated stomach.
Beautiful.
"I want you to see how perfect you are to me. Your personality, your smile, how you change the room. " Sam chuckles, "Even your weird obsession with old 90 movies." Sam's hands gently roam down your body to be around your waist.
Beautiful. Perfect.
Not in a million years those two words would fall out of anyone's mouth. Not Sam's at least, You never would have thought that he would talk about you like that.
“Everything of yours is perfect. Your curves, your hips, your smile. " As he said that his hands were all over your body...touching every inch gently. You look at Sam through the mirror, "Sam..." Seeing his hands on your body felt fantastic and right.
"I know the past two years have been hard, I wish I was here for you. Things happened...but I am here now." Sam said his hand was now on my cheek caressing softly. "Let me have this chance."
You took a deep breath, this felt like a dream. Sam Winchester really said that and meant that.
You look up at Sam and nod your head. Instantly his lips met yours.
The kiss was full of passion yet gentle. Like You were a fragile art piece in a museum. His hand was on your waist and he pulled you in closer as he finished the kiss.
"Is this okay?" His hand had my shirt. You nodded your head and he took your shirt off revealing your black bra.
You covered your stomach as Sam looked at you, he wrapped his hands on your arms and moved them away, "I told you that you are beautiful, don't hide yourself from me.
Sam pinned your arms to your side and from your lips down to your stomach near the top of your pants. He kissed every scar, and stretch mark as he went. Whispering all sorts of sweet nothings, while he kissed you.
Sam looked up at you and smiled, "Take your pants off and lay on the bed baby girl."
You took a deep breath and turned from Sam, slipping your pants off and laying down on the bed. Sam was now shirtless and working on his pants.
Once he was left in his boxers he walked towards you and climbed on top of you, his face above yours. He gave you a small kiss on the forehead, the tip of the nose, and finally your lips.
It felt euphoric, the amount of times you never thought this would happen or even think you would be alone for all your life was out of the equation. You were happy.
With his small kisses, Sam cupped your breasts in his hands and softly squeezed them. Making you moan out softly. He lifted you up and unclipped your bra. You slipped out of your bra and allowed him to throw it on the floor. He kissed you once more before fondling your breasts and using his mouth on your nipple, swirling his tongue around your sensitive bud.
You softly moan and hold his head. Yanking his hair softly, Sam releases your nipple and looks up at you, "Better be careful Y/n. I want to take my time, but I will take you right now if you want."
Sam kissed your breasts and went down to your clothed pussy. Kissing the top of your underwear. His dirty talk made you feel excited for what's to come. Your underwear was soaked and Sam knew it, he rubbed your clothed pussy up and down making you moan out loud.
This was really happening. You were going to lose your virginity to Sam.
"Sam... I've never done this before." You admitted to him. He looked up at you and kissed your lips softly, "If you wanna stop we-" Before he could finish his sentence you cut him off with another kiss.
"I want you Sam."
You kissed Sam once more, deepening this kiss. His hands go back to your underwear and easily slide them off.
He breaks the kiss and goes down to my pussy, looking up at you before licking up and sucking on my clit. You moan out loud feeling the sensation of his tongue, Sam licked up and down and sucked on your clit before using a finger and thrusting in your pussy.
His one finger felt amazing inside, yet it stretched you out. If you couldn't take a finger. When he finally goes inside it may not fit. But, no matter the pleasure right now was overwhelming. You didn't want it to stop.
Sam does stop abusing your clit, rubbing your pussy, and adding another finger. You close your eyes and arch your back up, moaning out.
He was paying attention to everything that made you feel nothing but pleasure. He used his two fingers in a scissoring motion and that plus his mouth on you took you over the edge.
Your eyes feel blurry and your breaths are heavy, you could feel Sam's eyes on you. He leans up and kisses you. "Feel good baby girl?"
You smile and nod, "Yes."
You never noticed that Sam slipped his boxers off, his length hitting your thigh. You look down and take a breath.
It's a lot bigger than I thought...I don't think it would fit.
Your mind was spiraling and you could feel your nerves go through the roof.
"Don't overthink, keep your eyes on me. It will be uncomfortable but I am right here." Sam noticed you were in your head. His hands were rubbing your legs comfortably to make you relax. He kissed you gently and pulled you close to him as he rubbed his cock near your entrance.
Sam pulled away looking at you in your eyes, "You ready?"
A moment passed and you finally nodded your head. You wanted it You leaned up and kissed Sam once more. The head of his cock rubbing against your cunt.
During the kiss Sam thrusted in, You gasped in the kiss and he stopped moving while you looked like you were in discomfort.
When your face relaxed he thrusted again slowly until you told him to go faster.
The pleasure felt amazing, nothing felt better than being with Sam. You didn't want anyone else but him, the feel of his kisses, his touch. Was the most amazing thing you have ever felt.
The feeling of his cock filling you up to the brim felt amazing, how you stretched around to fit him and only him.
Sam was grunting as he thrusted, he started to moan softly kissing you while he thrusted into you. He gripped the sheets beside you as you gripped his shoulders filling him into you.
Sam pulled out and came on your stomach, "Sorry.." He chuckled and grabbed his shirt and cleaned you up, You smiled and looked down at him cleaning you up.
The one thing you knew for sure was that not only Sam was your first love, but no matter what he would always be your last.

“What do you mean I’m going to be only yours,” you nervously laugh. “I only want to get back on the highway and find my way to the spa. Jensen, I don’t belong here.”
“My sweet Y/N, you belong here more than anyone else,” he gently cups your cheek. “I can feel the tension in your body and the doubts swirl in your mind. You need a break from your life. Stay here, with me for a while. I promise no one will touch you.”
“But you said I’m only yours and kissed me,” you splutter.
“I said, no one will touch you but me,” he dips his head to press his lips to your ear. “For now, I want to know if you can make yourself relax.”
“Relax?” you swallow thickly. He’s so close again, and damn him, he still smells so good. Jensen makes you weak in the knees and you don’t know why you are close to just giving in to a man you just met.
“How about we talk about you, your job, and how you experience an orgasm,” he purrs in your ear. “I want to know everything about you.”
Usually, Jensen is controlled when it comes to preparing someone for joining his little group. But with you, he’s about to lose control and just give you everything your body is craving.
“I-what? I can’t just tell you about my sex life. I don’t even know you,” he grips your upper arms and looks you deep in the eyes. “I’m not some sex guru groupie.”
“Sweetheart,” you whimper at the nickname. “How long since you let go? How long since you had a mind-blowing orgasm?”
Mind-blowing? You got lucky if Julian even took his time to make you cum. He was more interested in his job, and maybe his assistant. Even though, you don’t have proof of his infidelity.
“I don’t want to talk about my lower half, Jensen,” you try to sound confident, but your panties are soaked. “Please just tell me the way to the spa.”
“It’s late,” he whispers lowly. “How about this? You sleep in my room tonight. I promise to not touch you or let anyone else touch you. If you still want to go to the spa in the morning, I’ll show you the way.”
“Is there a catch?”
“Of course not, Y/N,” Jensen steps away from you, observing your wrecked state. You press your thighs together and cross your arms over your chest to hide your stiff nipples. “I get you some food and you can change. The bathroom is two rooms down the hallway, and to the left.”
You nod but swallow thickly. Spending the night at Jensen’s house, surrounded by people fucking each other is not how you imagined your little getaway.
Tumblr media
“Jensen, do you mind telling me how far—” your jaw drops and you make an odd noise as you step inside what you believe is Jensen’s room.
“Fuck, you take me so well,” a man groans as he alternatively shoves his cock inside one of the women kneeling on the bed. He’s slamming his hips into her ass, calling her a good girl before he pulls out to slide right into the next waiting cunt.
“I—” You’re frozen to the spot. Your eyes widen and you dare not to breathe as he slides out of the second woman to push into the last women’s pussy, making her moan loudly.
The other women wiggle their asses, begging him to fill them again but he takes his time with the last one, bringing her to the brink of orgasm before he stills his movement.
“Oh, do you want to join us, beautiful,” he looks over his shoulder to give you a smirk. “I got a free spot, babe. Let me just make them cum. We can take our time.”
“What? No!”
You frown as you swear you’ve seen the man before too. “Jensen told me you are special,” he lazily fucks the woman while talking to you as if he just met you at a coffee shop. “You know, I’ll make you feel good and help you relax.”
“Jare, no,” you feel Jensen’s arm wrap around your waistline to press you to his chest. “Sweetheart, you’re a little naughty tonight, huh? If only you told me you like to watch.”
“No…you got it all wrong,” you try to, but can’t take your eyes off the man slipping out of the next woman to start all over again with the first one. “I wanted to go back to your room.”
“He’s good, isn’t he?” Jensen whispers in your ear. You shudder as his erection presses hotly against your ass. “Jared needed a time out too. He enjoys this a little too much if you ask me, but the ladies wanted him tonight. Who am I to deny them their pleasure?”
“Did you do such a thing too?” you still watch Jared take turns penetrating each of the women from behind. He grips their hips, driving them wild as he pulls out right before they can reach the peak. “Fuck three women.”
“I don’t have anyone waiting for me at home. We are all friends here; a community built of trust.”
“You didn’t answer my question, Jensen.”
“I did,” Jensen admits. “For a while. Now I prefer watching my children give in to the pleasure they can provide to each other. Jared is at the beginning. Everything is fresh and wild. He needs to fuck it out of his system before attaining a higher level of enlightenment.”
“Why can’t I look away?” you wet your dry lips. It’s immoral, and more than out of your comfort zone to watch Jared pleasure the faceless women on the bed. It’s just – you can’t stop. All the noises they make and the sight of their glistening cunts getting stuffed arouses you more than anything before.
“Just enjoy, sweetheart,” Jensen licks over your neck. His lips travel up and down your neck while you watch Jared make the first woman cum. She cries out in pleasure and soaks his cock while her body trashes around.
“Good girl,” you whimper loudly at Jared’s words. “You were so good for me and my cock. Now tell me whom I shall make cum next.”
“Both,” the woman weakly falls onto the bed. “Please pleasure them both.”
“See. We are not selfish. None of us,” Jensen holds you tightly against his chest as his free hand wanders between your slightly parted legs. “Do you want me to praise you for being good for me too, Y/N?”
“Y-eah,” you are mesmerized by the way Jared takes the women apart. He roughly fucks them, but at the same time, he softly praises them.
Your mind is in a conflict. You enjoy watching the scene in front of you but feel guilty at the same time.
“What do you want? Say it,” Jensen whispers in your ear as the next woman comes all over Jared. He pats her head and calls her sweetie. “Y/N…”
“I want…” you gulp hard as Jensen’s hand moves between your legs to toy with your panties. You’re only in an old, oversized shirt and this gives him the perfect opportunity to feel your soaked underwear. “Please…”
“Relax and watch, sweetheart.”
He shoves his hand inside your panties, fingertips barely grazing your clit. You are about to lose your mind as he toys with you, but doesn’t touch you for real.
“Please…”
“Jared, take your time with Gen. She wasn’t good lately. Slow, and rough. Make her feel you for days,” the second woman says. “She pouted as Mark wanted to pleasure me first during our love circle.”
“See, that’s how we punish misbehavior,” he draws slow circles around your clit while whispering in your ear. You shudder as his hot breath fans over your skin. “With pleasure…”

Endangered | Chapter Seventeen
Paul Lahote x OFC
Endangered Masterlist
Summary: Vampires and wolves are not the only supernatural creatures to walk the earth, and they are certainly not the only ones in Forks, Washington when Charlotte Annabeth Swan, “Anna”, moves in with her uncle after the unfortunate demise of her parents.
Some may misidentify her as a witch, but that’s fine, she would rather them think that anyway. But the Volturi know the truth, and they are closing in on her.
A/N: Surprise! I am alive, between school, work, and a hurricane, this was a challenge to complete. But to make up for it, it is twice as long as usual chapters AND the moment we have all been waiting for is here.
I hope you enjoy~
Tumblr media
It was impossible to focus on anything in the aftermath of Bella’s wolf bombshell. School went by in a blur, my mind constantly on what was happening in the woods. Even Eric and Mike had noticed, which was how I knew I was off. They barely noticed anything. For a moment, I felt like I was slipping away, just like Bella had.
I spent every free second of the next few days trying to monitor the vampire situation. The pack had killed one who had gotten too close to Bella. I couldn’t even confront her, because telling her I knew about the vampire meant telling her I knew about the wolves. It wasn’t just the boys in the woods with a vampire now, it was Charlie, Harry, and so many more humans in danger. I found that I could feel where she was in the woods. Vampires were not alive, and if I focused on that feeling of emptiness, I could track her. And she was fast.
Paul made it known he hated this, but I wanted to help. The only upside was that I could use my emotional connection to Charlie to monitor where the hunting group was in relation to the redhead. The pack were excellent trackers, but apparently, the smell of a vampire was overwhelming to them. I could better keep track of the humans than they could while they were on her tail, so Sam let me keep doing what I could. I was able to warn them when she got too close to them and could track her movements off the reservation as well.
The nosebleeds, on the other hand, that was a point of contention. So much so that Paul broke his rule about being around me in his wolf form.
I was sitting against a rock, the cold forest floor beneath me, and my eyes closed when I heard footsteps. Sam had cleared this little clearing safe earlier in the day, it was off the path enough to be hidden, but not dangerous. I wasn’t scared. I knew who it was immediately.
“Paul,” I whispered, opening my eyes. The wolf was about six feet in front of me, and they were really just as massive as people said. He had told me he was worried about scaring me, but all I could think was how beautiful he was. His fur was a dark silver, and some lighter spots on his face. His eyes were copper, seemingly staring into mine.
He huffs at me, his agitation apparent in his body language. I dropped the shields around my mind so we could communicate. It takes a minute to push through some of the pack's collective thoughts to get to Paul’s. They know he’s with me, I can hear Sam giving directions and some responses before I get to him.
“Hey,” I think.
You’re bleeding, he growls out loud at the thought. I wipe away the blood quickly beginning to fall down my lip.
“Shit, sorry,” I say, standing up, “I honestly don’t really notice it anymore.”
What if she had caught wind of you? You’re forgetting that your blood is different. You’re putting yourself in more danger.
“I didn’t forget. She’s pretty far away, and she keeps making you guys chase her to the border. If you would just let me get close enough to her to read her mind, I could figure out what she wants,” I say pointedly.
Absolutely not, he huffs.
“Paul,” I say taking a step forward and I can see him step back.
Stay back, I don’t want to hurt you.
I sigh, “You won’t, love.”
You don’t know that.
“I do,” I take another step forward, “Trust yourself. Trust me.”
He turns his head away, thoughts racing too fast for me to decipher. The pack's thoughts are bleeding through, making it difficult to single out his. Before I can get a headache, he turns to face me again, nodding.
Okay, he thinks.
He’s taller than me still, but he shrinks a little as I move forward. I slowly hold out a hand, letting him come to me.
He stares at me unblinking, before leaning into my palm.
“See, not so bad,” I smile, and even in his thoughts, he is grumbling.
Maybe, but I should get back, and you should go home to rest.
Sam breaks through the wall I have that pushed the pack away with an Alpha order to the boys. I flinch as it shatters through my mind like broken glass. Pressing my palms into my eyes, I nod.
“Yeah, maybe.”
----------------------------------------------------
Bella couldn’t believe how blind she had been. Jacob had told her, point blank, exactly what he was, and she couldn’t see it. It took him climbing through her window to notice exactly what was going on.
Jacob was a werewolf. He was killing the hikers in the woods. He had been manipulated by the others into murder. It wasn’t a gang he was in, it was a pack.
Bella’s thoughts raced as she drove, was Anna a part of this, did she know? She had too, Bella thinks. She had been keeping secrets for far too long.
Parking, Bella rampaged her way to the Black house, hellbent on getting answers with her aggressive knocking and pushing her way past Billy.
But now standing here at the door to his room, he didn’t look like the monster she had made out in her head. He looked peaceful, having long since outgrown the bed he lay in. He didn’t want this. He was just sixteen.
Looking through the window, she saw the four others step through the tree line, and she saw red. This needed to end.
“What did you do!” she yells bursting out of the door, when she didn’t get an answer, she becomes irate, running up to Sam.
“Hey! What did you do!” she yelled again, pushing Sam forcefully. Paul steps forward with a growl, his protective nature surging before Sam puts his hand on his chest.
“Easy,” Sam warns.
“He didn’t want this!” Bella continues, getting louder, pushing closer to them.
“What did we do?” Paul spits, “What did he do? Huh? What did he tell you?” Here was Bella, once again villainizing him and his pack, causing problems where there were none to begin with.
“Both of you calm-” Sam urges with an authoritative tone, but it is cut off by Bella.
“Nothing! He tells me nothing because he’s SCARED of you,” she screams, and the boys are all stunned into a second of silence.
Until Paul and Jared start laughing, shocked by how ridiculous that is.
Bella loses it, and she reaches out, slapping Paul across the face. She realizes her mistake the second it happens.
“Fuck, too late now,” Jared says, grabbing Embry and stepping away from Paul.
“Bella! Get back now!” Sam yells.
Paul is shaking, his rage has overtaken him. It’s not just about her hitting him, he barely felt it really. It’s her entitlement, her obvious selfishness, and her lack of understanding when it came to them or Anna. She just assumes her stupid, bloodsuckers were perfect, that we couldn’t possibly be good as well. It all bubbles up to the surface at once, and all the animosity over the way Bella treats Anna explodes. Months of frustration and anger take over him.
Sam is trying to get him to calm down, but it’s not working.
“Jared, call Anna,” Sam says calmly, but the glare he receives from Paul proves that that was not the right thing to say.
“No!” Bella yells, eyes wide.
“Jesus Christ,” Jared groans.
He doesn’t have time to reach for his phone, because Paul loses control, and suddenly a giant grey wolf is standing in front of Bella, snarling and snapping.
Bella finally gets the hint, turning around to run as Jacob appears from his house.
“Run!” she screams, “Run, Jake, run!”
He does but in the opposite direction. Bella is terrified, looking back, she falls just in time to see Jacob jump into the air, but it’s not Jacob who lands on the ground. Another huge russet fur wolf stands its ground in front of the grey wolf.
The sounds of snapping jaws and growls are horrifying, but Bella can’t look away as the mountains of fur tumble through the grass aggressively, snapping a boat in half as they move toward the woods. With a heavy sigh, Sam looks back at Bella, who is just staring in shock.
“Hey, take Bella back to Emily’s place,” he says with a sigh.
“Guess the wolf’s outta the bag,” Embry chuckles and reaches out a hand to help Bella off the ground.
As they start to walk towards her truck, Sam turns back to yell towards the boys, “And someone seriously, call Anna.”
“Not it!” Jared yells, making Embry groan.
Bella is too shocked to say anything as they guide her to the back seat. She doesn’t hear what Embry says on the phone to her cousin, she doesn’t notice Jared grab the keys and start the truck, all she can do is stare past the broken boat and into the forest.
Jacob really is a werewolf. Anna is a Fae. Are all the monsters real?
-----------------------------------------------------
“What?!” I yell. Embry had finished giving me the rundown of what happened. I hadn’t even woken up yet when Bella had left, but I was wide awake now.
“Please don’t make me repeat it,” Embry flinches away from the phone, a furrow in his brow.
“Are you with her now?” I ask.
“Yeah, we are on our way to Emily’s, we’re almost there.”
“Jesus Christ, I would love to go at least one fucking week without something blowing up,” I complain, getting my things together to leave frantically.
“Yeah, me too.”
“I’ll be there in like 15.”
“I’ll warn everyone.”
I scoff and roll my eyes, setting my phone down to throw a hoodie on.
Embry hangs up the phone and Jared glances at him from the road.
“Not good?” Jared asks.
Embry gives him an incredulous look, “Hurricane Anna lands in t-minus 15.”
Jared exhales, “This outta be fun.”
When the trio pulls into Emily’s house, Bella has finally come out of her shock, leaning out the window, she speaks up.
“Hey! I think we should go back and see if Jacob’s okay.”
Jared laughs, “I hope Paul sinks some teeth in ‘em, serves him right.” He walks to the porch, Embry right behind him.
“No way, Jacob’s a natural, did you see him phase on the fly like that? I got five that says Paul doesn’t touch him,” Embry explains animatedly, they pause when they see Bella hasn’t moved.
“Come on in Bella, we don’t bite,” Embry jokes.
“Speak for yourself,” Jared retorts with a smirk.
Embry walks back to Bella as Jared enters, a tentative look in his eyes.
“Oh hey, about Emily, Sam’s fiancé, don’t stare. It bugs Sam,” he warns sadly.
“Why would I stare?” Bella questions, but he doesn’t answer, just walks in ahead of her.
Entering the house, Bella immediately felt out of place, like an outsider. She glances around the room from the doorway. The open concept made it feel bigger than it was, even with the massive boys at the wooden table. There were signs of life in every part of the room. Shoes were kicked off by the door, the smell of baked goods from the kitchen, and jackets hung on the back of chairs. One of which Bella recognized as Anna’s. It wasn’t until a sweet voice broke her from her thoughts that she looked at the woman walking out of the kitchen.
“Are you guys hungry? Like I have to ask,” she laughed. Bella suddenly realized why Embry had given her a warning. The woman must be Emily, and she was gorgeous despite the scar traveling down the side of her face. Bella forced her eyes away. Did Sam do that? Would Paul do that to Anna?
“Who’s this?” she asked curiously.
“Bella Swan, who else?” Jared shrugs, falling back into his chair.
Emily’s eyes widened, “Ah, so you’re the vampire girl.”  Her small smile let her know she was joking.
“So, you’re the wolf girl,” Bella responds, her humor lost in her awkwardness.
“Guess so, well I’m engaged to one at least,” she shrugs and sets down the plate in her hand as the two boys lunge for the food, “Save some for your brothers,” Emily scolds, “and ladies first. Muffin?”
“Sure,” Bella says as Emily gestures to the plate. Emily watches her cautiously before going back to cleaning up.
“Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam’s gag order,” she says.
“Um, he didn’t say anything to me,” Bella interjects, feeling the need to defend him.
“Yeah, that’s a wolf thing, alpha’s orders get obeyed whether we want them to or not,” Embry tells her, “Oh and check it out, we can hear each other’s thoughts.”
“Would you shut up! These are trade secrets! This chick runs with vampires,” Jared yells in exasperation. Bella finally breaks a smile.
“You can’t really run with vampires, 'cause they’re fast,” she says, a bit smugly, but Jared doesn’t miss a beat.
“Yeah, well we’re faster. Freaked out yet?” he taunts good-naturedly.
She shrugs her shoulders, “You’re not the first monsters I’ve met.”
Sam walks through the door, breaking some of the tension.
“Jake’s right, you’re good with weird. I would refrain from using the word “monsters” around your cousin though,” he warns. He walks up to Emily, peppering kisses on her face as she giggles. Bella has to look away, it still hurts to see other people in love.
When Paul and Jacob walk through the door, they seem fine. Smiling even. Paul comes to sit down at the table in front of her, as Jacob stands in the doorway.
With a smirk, Paul turns to apologize, “Sorry,” he says. He knows I’m on my way and will finally have to confront my cousin, and not even the threat of my wrath deters him from this moment.
Jacob silently motions to Bella to follow him, but the slamming of a door directs everyone’s attention outside.
“Here we go,” Embry huffs. Emily straightens as the weather seems to change, the sun has faded away and the usual cold air warms by at least ten degrees.
When Embry called me a hurricane, Bella thought he was joking, but looking at me now, Bella admits it’s a pretty good description. She can see me through the doorway as I walk around my car.
The wind seems to be roaring just around me, my now chaotic curly hair had to be gathered haphazardly out of my face. My own storm cloud follows me, about twenty feet in the air, and lightning is cracking within it. It’s about the size of my car and looks like rain could pour at any second. It swirls in a spiral, just like a hurricane, and I’m standing in the eye of the storm. It’s the first time Bella has really seen my magic and she’s suddenly faced with the reality that I am not human. She’s staring at me wide-eyed and mouth agape.
“You should have seen her when she found out a vampire almost killed you,” Jacob whispers to Bella, “We thought we were going to have to board up the house.”
Bella stares at me, realization hitting her about what exactly I am. Bella had found herself surrounded by magical creatures, and her mortality weighed on her heavier than ever.
Bella sees what I can’t, my eyes have darkened to a navy, almost black. The ends of my curls spark with the lightning. Bella gets why the Cullens thought I was a vampire at first, in this state, I look like one.
With my hands on my hips, I can tell by everyone avoiding my gaze that I look as pissed off as I feel. Staring at Bella through the door, I notice Paul is still inside.
“Bella! Paul! Get out here!” I yell, thunder booming behind me.
Bella sees Paul grimace as he walks out, and she grows more worried about confronting Anna about her serial killer boyfriend.  For a second, she considers the fact that Anna may have committed murder too.
“You look like you’re heading to the gallows man, it’ll be fine,” Embry says to Paul, trying to be supportive. Bella slowly makes her way to the porch, Jacob and Sam behind her.
“Hi Anna,” Sam says with a smile, “How are you doing?” It’s an attempt to cool the situation, but it hits my cold exterior and fails.
With eyes like ice, they flicker between Paul and Bella.
“Oh, I am fucking fantastic Sam, especially since I got a call that once again, my cousin has forced herself into things that aren’t her business- ” Bella moves to interject, but I put a hand up, stopping her as lightening cracks behind me in the growing storm cloud and a gust of wind hits them.
“No, you will shut up and listen, what the hell were you thinking? And you, don’t think you’re getting away with this,” I yell pointing at Paul, who has the decency to look sheepish.
“I am so beyond pissed off. Can I please just have one moment where I don’t have to worry about you getting yourself killed Bella!? Because I have tried so God damn hard to keep you alive, despite your best attempts to do the exact opposite. I have spent months perfecting and learning how to protect you and Charlie. Why do you think you’ve never seen a vampire around our house, Bella? Because I exhausted myself warding it, layers and layers of wards so anyone we didn’t know wouldn’t be able to sense the house. I have charmed so many things with protection that it’s insane. Jewelry, clothes, Charlie’s badge. The list is so long,’ I take a sharp intake of breath before continuing.
“I spend every day tracking any vampire activity, and all you have done is make it so much harder! I have one thing for myself, and that’s these boys. This pack that I also spend every day doing whatever I can to make sure they are safe because they have been forced into a role they don’t want. I have enough to worry about, I don’t need to add “my boyfriend getting so angry he blows the pack secret” to that list?” I know I must look crazy, arms flailing, and cheeks flushed, but I can’t stop, that is until Bella interrupts my rant.
“I kind of knew already, this just confirmed it,” Bella says quietly, and everyone around her audibly groans. Embry’s head falls into his hand as he leans against the railing of the porch, Jared shakes his head. Sam looks up to the ceiling in exasperation, Emily flinches, and Paul glares. Even Jacob lets his head hang, waiting for my inevitable reaction.
“IF YOU KNEW WHAT MADE YOU THINK ANTAGONIZING PAUL WAS A GOOD IDEA!” I scream.
Bella didn’t have a great response to that, she just looks down at the ground.
Sam stepped in between us before I can start again, “Alright I think maybe it’s time for Bella to talk to Jacob, give everyone a breather.”
Jacob pulls Bella quickly out of the house towards the beach. Paul was the only one brave enough to step into my vicinity, and the wind died down once he placed his arms around me. I keep my arms crossed in the hug, pouting until I feel myself relax. I pull back, placing my hands on either side of his face.
“I hope Jacob got some good hits in for me, and you better have given him as good as you got” I muttered, and he laughed despite himself.
“Don’t worry my little brawler, we both have been effectively whipped into shape,” he says kissing my head, then looks into my eyes, “I’m sorry.”
I nod once, and the cloud finally dissipates above us. I sigh deeply before curling into him and his warmth.
“It’s cold.”
“Well considering you brought your own weather front, I’m not surprised. Let’s go inside.”
Everyone is silent, looking at me expectantly, waiting for my reaction.
“I’m fine guys, really. Paul will live to see another day.”
“It’s not him I’m worried about,” Emily says, “I’m worried about you, and what you are going to do now that Bella is in the loop.”
“Yeah Anna, you haven’t given yourself a break since I’ve known you,” Jared quips.
“Yes, thank you for reminding me,” I say as Paul sits down, pulling me onto his lap, “I’ll be fine guys, don’t worry.”
They drop it, but their thoughts are loud and demanding. I can hear their worry and I can’t shut it out, so I just close my eyes and lean against Paul. Tuning into our connection quiets the noise, and I can fade into the thrum of our heartbeats. I know this won’t be the last time they bring this up, but I will avoid it as long as I can.
-----------------------------------------------------
Bella walked across the beach solemnly. Jacob trailed behind her, unable to face the gravity of the conversation they needed to have. Once they approached the shore, with the calming waves crashing in the background, Jacob fell in step beside her.
“So, you’re a werewolf,” Bella says after the silence had gotten too heavy. Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he nodded.
“Yeah, last time I checked,” he shrugged, “A few lucky members of the tribe have the gene. Then a bloodsucker moves into town, and the fever sets in.” Bella can clearly see he feels bitter about it, and she holds out hope Jacob is still the same person she knew.
“Mono,” she states.
“Yeah, I wish,” he scoffs.
“Well, can’t you find a way to just stop?” she asks indigently, and Jacob rolls his eyes as she continues, “I mean… it’s wrong.”
“It’s not a lifestyle choice Bella!” Jacob raises his voice and furrows his brow, “I was born this way! I can’t help it.”
He pauses, throwing his arms down in frustration, “You’re such a hypocrite! What? I’m not the right kind of monster for you?”
Bella looks up at him with wide eyes, crossing her arms.
“It’s not what you are, it’s what you do. They never hurt anybody! You’ve… killed people Jake,” she cries out like this was obvious. Jacob shakes his head as she looks down and away from him. Jacob takes a step closer to her, bringing her attention back to him.
“Bella! We’re not killing anyone,” he pleads.
Bella is taken aback, “Then, who is?” she says breathlessly. He can’t believe she doesn’t get it, that she doesn’t understand even after remembering the stories he told her.
“What we’re trying to protect you people from, the only thing we do kill,” he pauses, “Vampires.”
Bella starts to panic a bit, “Jake you can’t!”
“Don’t worry we can’t touch your precious little Cullens unless they violate the treaty,” he interrupts her with another eye roll. Bella just shakes her head, he does not understand what she means.
“I – that’s not what I’m saying, you can’t kill vampires, they’ll kill you.”
“Really? We took out that leach with the dreads easy enough,” Jake says smugly, and finally, Bella realizes maybe there’s more to the wolves than she thought.
“Laurent?” she gasps, her chest pounding. Jacob nods.
“And his red-headed girlfriend is next.”
“V-Victoria’s here,” she stutters, losing her footing, and Jacob goes to steady her, eyebrows raising in concern.
“She was, we chased her all the way to the Canadian border last night. She keeps coming back, but we don’t know what she is after.”
“I do,” Bella gapes, “me.”
Jacob stares at her, concern all over his features. He helps Bella stand, but he can hear her heartbeat pounding in her chest. His urge to kill the bloodsucker has increased tenfold at this moment.
“We should go back, tell Sam and Anna.”
“No, wait, Anna…” Bella trails off, gazing back at the way they came.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure she’s calmed down by now. Paul has that effect on her,” he says, and Bella thinks she is joking, but he’s serious. Jacob notices she looks genuinely scared.
“She’s not safe, why is she with him?” she whispers.
Jacob tenses protectively, “She’s safe Bella, we would never let anyone hurt her.”
“But Paul… what if he hurts her?”
Realization hits him, he had come to know Paul as so much more than just his temper, but the rumors were still in Bella’s head. Hell, he had put them there. Honestly, it was rare he blew up anymore. These days Paul only has three emotions, being in love with me, worrying about me, or focusing on the hunt.
“I know you might not have seen him in the best light today, but trust me, he would rather cut off his own arm than hurt her,” he says seriously.
When Bella continues to stand still. Jacob picks her up underneath her knees. Carrying her will be quicker than walking with all her questions, and to his surprise, she leans into him, laying her head on his shoulder.
“How long has she known about you?” she asks, then softly, “What do you know about her?”
“She’s known since she met Paul, and we know about her too. I found out when I shifted for the first time.”
“That’s why he showed up at my birthday…” she whispers.
Jacob hasn’t heard this story but makes a mental note to ask Paul about it later. It’s a short walk back to Emily’s house with his large and quick steps. They spend it in relative silence, just enjoying being together again.
As they approach the house, Jacob sets her down to walk up the porch steps. The doors are still open, and Jacob stops Bella before she walks in. When Bella gives him a questioning glance, he just points inside.
“See for yourself,” he whispers.
Bella looks to where he is pointing and is genuinely shocked at what she sees. Paul and I are sitting in the old La-Z-Boy in the corner of Emily’s living room, while the rest of the pack and Emily are lounging around. It’s a rare moment, everyone relaxing for even a moment, but Emily strong-armed Sam into an uninterrupted hour of calm.
Paul’s arms are secured around my waist as I am draped over his lap, laying my head on his shoulder just like she was a moment ago with Jacob. My head is suddenly thrown back in a laugh as he peppers quick kisses all over my cheek and neck through his own smiles. Embry throws a pillow at us from the couch, making a fake sound of annoyance, but it just makes us laugh more.
Bella can’t see what’s playing on the TV, but it doesn’t look like anyone is paying much attention to it anyway. Everyone is mostly just enjoying each other’s company. She sees the way Paul looks at me, and suddenly, she gets it. This isn’t the guy who was shaking with rage just hours ago, now he’s gazing up at me with a sickeningly sweet adoration that makes Bella’s heart crack. I look the most relaxed Bella has seen in a month; she doesn’t think I’ve had my guard down at all. That has to be tiring.
They look like a family, Bella thinks. There’s a distinctive warmth surrounding them that Bella knows is lacking in her own house, the only time she sees it is when she sees Charlie and me cooking together, or sitting on the couch with the game on, and the warmth leaves when she enters the room.
She’s about to do the same thing here, break up this happy moment, and for the first time since Edward left, Bella actually feels guilty about it.

Part IV
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?”
“DON'T YA’ BE YELLING AT ME, MR. MAN, EVEN IF THIS IS YOUR FUCKING HOUSE…”
“I gotta go,” tossing his phone on the bedside table, Jared, wearing his blessed socks, runs across the main room and slides on the hardwood floor into the kitchen and saw his husband standing three feet from Quinn as she’s vigorously gesturing with a paring knife while telling him off in her colorful language.
“Put the knife down!” The older Alpha’s voice resonates through the room, making Jared flinch, feeling the command’s power, watching Quinn set it on the counter and Jensen reach over, sliding it towards him.
She stood a bit longer before blinking in confusion, and then her demeanor shifted to madder than a wet hen, her natural lower voice dropped another octave, and the lilt became very pronounced. “Don’t ya’ ever use that fucking voice on me again!”
“You were threatening me with a knife!” Jensen picks up the item, making her laugh, “Holy fucking shit, are ya’ serious? Ya’ could barely use it for a toothpick, let alone...”
Jared stood there, mouth hanging open, have’n seen others take on his mate, wrongfully assuming he’d be the easier of the two to intimidate, but when let off its leash, Jensen's wolf made Dean Winchester look like a pussy cat.
“JARED!”
The younger Alpha's mouth snapped shut, “sorry, what?”
“I asked you what the surrogate is doing here?”
“The surrogate has a name.”
 “What is Quinn doing here?”
 “So..uh..okay,” Jared slowly starts around the island doing his sometimes awkward, hesitant thing.  “A few days ago, I got a call from this number I didn’t recognize. It was about the ultrasound appointment scheduled while you were in LA.”
He paused to see if Jensen remembered, and yep, his mate was wearing his get to the fucking point expression.
“They informed me she’d canceled it because she was leaving town.”
Jensen's attention returned to the O, ”Don’t fucking start on me again, Ackles!”
“You know who I am?”
“Duh, Sherlock!”
Jensen would later try to justify it was jet lag and surprise finding their surrogate in their home, not her smart-ass mouth, for snarling at her.
“Och, save it for the cameras, drama queen. Ya’ put pants on just like the rest of us; the only difference is yours have designer labels.”
Jared interrupted the speeding downhill faster than an Olympic bobsledder situation, “I remembered her saying something about managing Mulroney’s Bookstore, so I called Clif to see if he’d get her to contact me and calls back saying some Alpha...”
“...who’s a flaming jackass!”
“Yeah, that’s what Clif called him. Anyways, he claimed to be the manager and had no idea where she was when another employee said they knew where she was living...”
“... that’s when ya’ boy shows up..”
“…I explained about the mixup...”
“…Padalecki followed me to my room to get the new date, then he caused a scene...”
“...I couldn’t help my wolf freaking out at where my..our pups were living...”
“…told ya’ it was there or the I-35 underpass!”
Jared bristled at the reminder, “The door had three locks, a barely functional heater, and a broken fridge. Cockroaches wouldn’t even live there!”
Quinn raises onto the balls of her feet and loudly reminds him about putting her in the shitter with the manager and getting fired when Jared shouts back in his booming voice, “there was a guy by the ice machine offering to sell me heroin!!”
“ENOUGH!” Jensen's Alpha voice echoes throughout the kitchen, quieting them both.
“She’s right,” Jared opened his mouth to retort, but Jensen countered with, “And so are you. Quinn, couldn’t your family help,” the Alphas wrinkled their noses at her souring scent, so he attempted another approach.
“I want to clear something up. I recall one of the stipulations for surrogates is that they reside in an appropriate domicile. Why were you living in a motel? Could you tell us what happened?”
“The flaming jackass tipped off the landlord I’m an O, and that fucker evicted me even though I never caused any problem or was late with rent.”
“There is a moratorium on evictions..”
“..that moratorium is a fucking joke!”
“What a minute,” Jensen said, and at the same time, Jared remarked, “It protects people...”
“Newsflash, Mr. Wizard, was created by and for the protection of Alphas and Betas! Take a hot minute to read the fine print, and you’ll find loopholes granting landlords, to quote, discretionary privileges pertaining to the eviction of those designated with the sub-gender Omega. In other words, they can boot O’s for any damn reason!” She gave the Alphas a hard stare, “So, enlighten me as to why y’all didn’t know a fucking thing about that bit?”
The kitchen got quiet as the Alphas glanced at each other, trying to find a non-assholey-sounding response. “Yeah, that’s what I thought; since it’s well known you two prefer Betas.” Quinn addressed the older Alpha.
“Padalecki and I have an arrangement. I keep the house and do meals in exchange for temporary boarding. No need to fret that pretty head of yours, Ackles; I’ll do me damnedest to stay outta the way."

December 23rd                                                                                                   Late Afternoon
Quinn heard Jensen’s surprised greeting covering the stewpot of goulash, slid it into the oven to stay warm, and peeked around the wall and saw him in the foyer hugging a small, older O, then a tall, bald Alpha carrying several bags crossed over to them.
“Let me help you with those, sir,” she offered, taking them couldn’t help but overhear his not-subtle sniff, “Jensen, who’s this?”
“Umm,” Jensen scratched the back of his neck, fumbling for a response, “this is the housekeeper, Quinn.”  His mother-in-law peered inquisitively at the tall Omega before asking, “What happened to your boys' service?”
“I worked for it.”
Gerald Padalecki dubiously eyed the O up and down as she continued. “They pared down the staff, and Jared offered to retain me in exchange for lodging...”
“You live with them?” Gerald barked, “Jensen, that’s unwise considering...”
“Considering what Gerry,” his mate sharply asks, “the boys wouldn’t let someone stay they couldn’t trust.”
 “I normally wouldn’t question their judgment, but she's an unmated O.”
“Whoa,’ Jensen jumped in, “are you suggesting that Jared or I...”
“Mama..daddy..what’re y’all doing here?” Jared couldn’t keep the surprise out of his voice, wrapping his long arms around his mother, “thought you were coming tomorrow.”
“We decided to surprise you but got it instead.” Gerald’s gruff reply made Jared throw his husband a confused look, catching a whiff of his dad and Jensen, “What’s going on?”
“I bet y’all would like to freshen up after your trip.” Quinn blurted out, “Jensen, would you help me with their luggage, please.”
Taking the car keys, he follows her out the door, remarking, “you think fast, coming up with that story.”
“Ya’ were about to lose ya' shit on your father-in-law, and I didn’t precisely fib, just moved a few facts around,” Quinn shoots back, grabbing a bag while Jensen, fuming, retrieves the other, following her to the guest house.
How could the Alpha he considered his father even think, after everything they’d been through, found his dark thoughts distracted by two simultaneous acts; a deflating blow-up bed and his bewildered husband storming in shouting, “What the fuck was that?”
Jensen ticked his head towards the O and made the finger-in-hole gesture.
 “I’ve gotten that shit since I presented,” the pair look towards Quinn with confused expressions. “Loads of Alphas still carry antiquated beliefs about unmated O’s, and I’m…pick an adjective to fill in the blank.”
“So much for a peaceful holiday,” Jensen grumbled.
“Yeah, too bad ya’ boy stuck his nose where it didn’t belong, right?” Quinn's tone was caustic. “I don’t want to be a bone of contention with ya' family. I’ll figure somewhere else to stay.”
Jared’s wolf simmers under his skin, “How? You have $636.96 in your account. That won’t cover a security deposit, let alone fir..”
“How the fuck ya’ know what’s in my account?!”
“Your laptop was open...”
“...and ya’ snooped...”
“...I happened to see it...”
“...still not your fucking problem...”
“...you’re carrying my..our pups, that makes it my fucking..”
“...ya’ are the most unfucking...”
“I’m tired of y’alls motherfucking bitching, so shut the fuck up!!”
Jensen wrinkles his nose, “Dude, dial it down; you’re stinking up the joint! And Quinn, Jared screwed up...”
“I never asked...”
“...doesn’t matter! He's trying to make amends, for fuck sake!” Jensen felt the vein in his left temple throbbing again.
“There will be many people dropping in or staying with us this fucking week, and this is how we’re all going to handle our situation.”

January 15th
“Humph,” Jensen jerked awake, slapping a hand around, and found his phone before cracking an eye open.
7:18 A.M.
Groaning, he dropped face-first into his pillow and wrestled his mates over his head to muffle the noise, but the pearls of his pup's laughter signaled he wouldn’t sleep much longer.
His fuzzy brain's insistence that coffee was more imperative than a shower has Jensen sleepily shuffling around the oversized couches, once again grateful they’d decided to move their bedroom to the main floor, spots the group in the kitchen muttered too damn early.
“That’s a bad word, Daddy,” JJ says, her frown a replica of his, “you owe the swear jar.”
“Your right, Birdie, sorry,” dropping a kiss on top of her and the twins' heads, stepping around them, pouring himself a mug, “remind me to pay it later.”
Hopping up on the counter, Jensen sips his coffee, savoring the black elixir rolling over his taste buds; he feels the caffeine penetrate his system, working its magic to turn his morning grumpyass into a civilized human watching his brood.
JJ and Arrow are busily festooning Quinn’s long, wonky braided hair with ribbons. Zeppelin and Icarus are sitting on the O’s lap, watching something on his iPad that's precariously balanced against her feet; felt his wolf purr in contentment, starting him when his mate materializes and gives him an odd look.
“Alright, y’all,” hopping off the counter, Jensen scoops up his son and flies him around, making airplane sounds, “Uncle Jeff and Aunt H/W/N will be here soon. What do all of you need to do before going?”
“Brush teeth and hair,” Arrow says, then looks at JJ, “grab our snacks from the fridge,” she reminds her, “and put them into our backpacks.”
“And do bath break!” Zep giggles as Jensen hands the pup to his mate and quietly says, “I wanna discuss something with Quinn.”
Jared reaches through their bond and finds a placidity in Jensen he hasn’t had for so long, but before he can deduce the causation, he gets distracted by the twins' squeals and escorts the pups upstairs.
Quinn eyes the older Alpha while securing a hair tie around her long braids, “what the fuck I do this time, Ackles?”
“Jared mentioned something about your leaving..”
“...I know ya' expected me gone before now...”
 “...ya’ know what I expect?” Jensen snaps, mimicking her subtle accent, “I expect you to stop interrupting and let me get something out for fucking once! Now, could we please discuss this without fighting?”
Sitting at the dining room table, she says nothing, watching Jensen refill his coffee, grab another mug, and drops in a spoon of honey before pouring the brewed tea from the kettle, “Ya’ know how I take me tea?”
“I’m not a completely unobservant asshole,” Jensen self-deprecates, “you make a damn good cup of coffee,” he said, carrying both mugs over. “And I’m astonished how you balance everything, working at Emmer and Rye while keeping up with our hectic schedules. And what did you do to Jared?” Quinn looked confused, “you got him to put his wet clothes in the laundry instead of leaving them all over the bath. You’re either a witch or a goddamn miracle worker!”
“I gave him two options. Leave’um in the laundry or find itching powder in his clothing.”
“He’d just borrow my stuff...”
“...he did, once.”
“So, you?
“Clif said ya’ boy spent the day denying it was jock itch.”
Jensen was still laughing when the quartet came back downstairs, so Quinn placed both forearms on the table, leaning forward, and spoke softly, “okay, Ackles, the fucks going on with this little tête-à-tête? Cause ya’ been freaked the fuck out the entire time, so,” nodding to her mug, “What’s with the buttering up?”
“It’s about not leaving...”
“Quinns not gonna leave?” Jensen whipped around to find Arrow bouncing excitedly beside him, then she suddenly raced towards the front door, yelling, “Papa Jared, Daddy’s got Quinn to stay with us!”
Jared stood there scrutinizing the seated duo with an indecipherable expression.
“Looks like ya’ the one dropping me in the shitter this time, Ackles.”

Behind The Lens
Masterlist for series.
Tumblr media
Summary.
"Behind the Lens" is a love story set in the summer of 2023, focusing on Jensen Ackles, a renowned actor facing the burden of stardom. Jensen's relentless dedication to his career has left him overwhelmed and disconnected from his true self. He's caught between his desire for a break and the pressure to maintain his public image. Through conversations with his manager, Darren, Jensen grapples with the need to find balance between his demanding career and personal well-being. This story explores the challenges of fame and the quest to rediscover one's passion in the entertainment industry. When he crosses path with a photographer Saamiya Siddique will she be able to help him be the man he used to be?
HI everyone, this is a story that I came up with after four years of not writing. I can't believe I am back to writing again, and I'm happy to be. I missed my secret world that I could just jump into and escape reality for awhile. I work at a hospital now and i'm mostly nights so me being a night person, writing is slowly coming back. That being said, please take this as a practice series for what is to come later, I may redo some of my older series once I figure out how to set up my tumbler page again. Remember, this is a FANFICTION, not real life, therefor Danneel is not in the series, but note I do love her just the same. I think she is incredible person and helps keep Jensen grounded, and for that I am thankful. Please do not copy my work and use it as yours, you can share and reblog it that helps me out. If you want to be tagged please let me know, and i'll be happy to do so. I'll have warnings on each chapter, This is also a cross over with the king of bollywood Shahrukh Khan as Saamiya's Father. So lets see how this goes shall we?
Pairings: Jensen Ackles and OFC (Sammiya Siddiqui, Shahrukh Khan, Jared Padalecki, Gen Padalecki, Jo Siddiqui (Saamiya's SIster and best friend)

turn me on
𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓮 - "i should walk in on you like this more often, it's a real turn-on!"
𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 - just a little bit sexy/smutty, swear word (?), yelling
𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 - you had just finished work, your boyfriend walked in on you naked and gets turned on but not before getting a bit embarrassed.
𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻'𝓼 𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓼 - i don't write a lot of sexy/smut because i personally don't think i'm good at it but, hopefully this will be okay.

it was the middle of the day and you had just finished an exhausting day at work. you had just come out of having a quick rinse off from all the days work at your job. and you stepped out and wrapped yourself in a towel, walking the few steps out of the ensuite of the bathroom and into you and your boyfriend, alex's, shared bedroom of which the ensuite was adjacent to.
you had slipped the towel down your boy as everything was starting to dry and as you went to put on your bra and underwear, out of nowhere, the door creaks open. and you hear a shocked gasp and hear shuffling feet.
"...oh my gosh, luna, i...i am so sorry!" giggling at alex, he had just walked in on you completely naked, not even realising that you were getting dressed, let alone naked
in utter embarrassment, the poor guy covered his eyes immediately and walked out of the room which caused you to laugh again. his voice squeaky and full of embarrassment as he apologised.
"it's okay alex, it was my fault!" you giggled as you had placed your bra and underwear on as you chucked the towel to your bed, not really ashamed of alex seeing you naked
technically, alex walking in on you naked was your fault. you forgot to lock the door like you and alex promised to do so nothing awkward like this would happen. however, the second alex got himself composed, he decided that he'd just, waddle back into the room, sitting on the bed as he watched you get changed.
and, for some reason, his sudden confidence shocked you. and you turned around, still, only in your bra and underwear.
"so, mr shy alex is gone?" he giggles at your question but just shrugs his shoulders
hmm, okay, is this where this is going? okay then mr kinky little shit, two can play at that game!
"oh...so, you like this do ya?" you wink at your boyfriend as he bites his lip, making you giggle
"a little bit..." he teases, trailing off as you roll your eyes at him after which you pull him in for a long, sensual kiss on the lips
then, he decides to let you get dressed in privacy, but not before being a cheeky little monkey.
"i should walk in on you like this more often, it's a real turn-on!" alex smirks as let's just say, that sentence bloody gave you a heart attack
who knew someone as shy as alex could actually be so confident and have such a kinky, sexy bedroom undressing kink?
you giggled to yourself as you finished getting dressed when you met with alex and his three cast members, jared padalecki, jensen ackles and misha collins back downstairs. for some reason, the moment you and alex made eye contact as you went to grab a glass of apple juice (and, yes, actual apple juice, not the moniker for alcohol), you two couldn't contain your laughter. which, as you'd imagine, caused a lot of confusion with the other three.
"gross, what did we miss this time?" jensen groans as he shakes his head with a side of sass as you giggle
"not a lot, just alex walking in on me getting dressed and getting all kinky over it. you know, the new normal i guess i'll call it!" you call out, alex goes shy again, his face going red whilst jared, jensen and misha's eyes all widen in shock at their normally shy and reserved costar
"say what the fuck now? and we missed it? damn, invite us next time, yeah luna?" misha calls out which makes you almost choke on your apple juice and alex choke on his own saliva
"yeah, what about us luna?" jared joins in as luna chuckles slightly, rolling her eyes at the idjits that she so deeply loved
laughter then erupts throughout the kitchen and living room from what jensen said as you facepalmed. he said something quite crude in regards to the joke that jared and misha made about letting them watch.
"...yeah, totally jensen, i'll let you guys all watch me get out of the shower, seeing me butt naked and then get changed..." you trailed off as for some weird reason, the group, including alex all looked excited
"...oh my gosh, what the fuck? i wasn't serious guys! jesus y'all need therapy and i'm being serious this time! where the fuck is the number of the therapist that singer gave me a month ago?" you spoke, your voice coming to a whisper at the end
as you literally went and looked around the kitchen for the number of the therapist that robert singer, director of supernatural, had given to the actors.
"oh, so wait, luna was joking?" misha speaks up as they then hear you screech from the tops of your lungs because you were seriously having trouble with finding the number of that goddamn therapist
"FUCK OFF MISHA! I WASN'T BEING SERIOUS, NO ONE WILL EVER BE SEEING ME NAKED EVER AGAIN! AND THAT INCLUDES YOU ALEX, I'M WATCHING YOU YOU KINKY LITTLE FUCKER!" you then screech out as everyone pouts in sadness before starting to laugh at how childish they were being
thankfully though, not long after that, the group of five were able to leave the house and get lunch together like a bunch of reasonable and civil adult humans that they claimed to be.
- - -
i really hope luna found that number for the therapist, seems like they all really need it!
ok ily bye xx
wc; idk maybe 1'000

Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Series warning -
Angst ,slow burn,mention of abuse ,abuse ,low self esteem ,mention of death ,fluff and more
Chapter warning
Mention of past ,fluff ,soft Dean ,mystry ..
Previous Chapter
Tumblr media
Well the day started real off for Dean there's a case again when he just came back from one ,already sleep deprived and frustrated by Amara's soul feeding hiatus ,he is on edge the mark left him but left him all the darkness behind and this time it mean literally the darkness is just roaming around in his life and in the world
Driving his baby to next store hoping he could get some thing really worth eating for him god knows what happening today why most of the stores are closed and those which are open are actually vegan and rabbit food eateries well Sam should have been here after looking at one more close sign he decided he should drive back to bunker get Sam and catch something to eat on road ..
As he was driving back his eyes catch at one more eating joint which was not close thankfully he just stopped the baby and proceed to towards the door ..
well this must be a new place he guessed this was not before some weeks back well perks of being away on road you can definitely count on changes that happens in one city and it don't get unnoticed but who cares all he is about good food
Well the place seem fine he just ordered his food and some salad for younger brother for takeaway while he was waiting for his order he heard something a sound that somehow felt familiar to him but from where and what actually , reluctantly he followed the distant yet not so distant sound coming from the corner of the eatery
"Thanks Kim for opening the place so early for me will see you later "
The sound was voice of a girl dressed up in simple floral dress carrying her order and diffrent files and laptop in her hand and being busy on her bluetooth she left the place in hurry
That's what he can catch from the glimpse ,well she definitely seems in hurry but what left in wonder is the familiarisation of that person why it feels like to him he know that girl well his head is vouching for well she must be someone from his one-nighter Dean never date ,can never date , hunter should not date
But she sound different well Dean barely remember any girl but this time it hit different something sound so similar deep in thought recollecting his memory but soon snapped by the waiter who was there with his takeaway and expecting payment
Brushing away all this he soon left the place thinking maybe he is overthinking
But overthinking or not for once he thought he should ask her out if her see her again
Tumblr media
" So you kept it " Dean asked mockingly
"Kept what " asked Sam unknowingly
"That toilet sprayer from Lizzie broden as souvenir " he chuckled
" Ah keep it coming " failing to response back to weird sense of humour of his big brother
" So what are we going to do with soul feasting of darkness "
Sighing and tiredly he looked at Sam well he don't want to answer,he knows it's a bigger problem but he need some minute of break looking at Sam "we'll what we always do hunt her down it will take time but we will hunt her down "
Tumblr media
He needed some air it was as usual tiring day ,long drive , exhausting hunt ,the very same he should head out grab a drink something to eat he thought he should ask Sam he should also take some fresh air but he knows he would bail out such a buzz kill he is most of the time but still take a chance
"You want to grab some beer " knowing his answer he took the key
"Well yeah I am coming it's been a while "
"Huh " he was taken aback but glad they both need some time off
Tumblr media
"Hmm this is so good " Sam relishing his burger he looked at Dean who was shock
"What " he looked at Dean curiously and then splash on face the water is on his face and half eaten burger in his hand
" Dude what's wrong with you why are you spraying holy water at me right in midle of this cafe " flabbergasted Sam question his brother
" Well have to make sure who are you what have you done with my brother like seriously you coming out with me and enjoying this greasy burger more so than me it's so unlike you "
Wiping of his face and focusing again on the burger " well I am not dead person I enjoy good food but yeah I keep in balance "
"You and your health lecture "....
___
Heading towards his baby he catch the very glimpse again the same person but this time she is not in hurry this time he saw her relaxed sitting on the cafe ,he had to admit him seeing her there did some share of effect on him
She was a sight to see ,dressed up in white top and blue skirt with jacket ,no make up ,hair tied up in pony beautiful eyes with nerdy specs , seriously looking at her laptop and noting down something on her ,well she looks angry from her expression stress lines on forehead keeps on stretching but yet she seems more pretty than other girls who just load themselves with makeup
His eyes are glued to her how she keeps on calculating some thing again ,her one hand is on her neck there's a little star tattoo on wrist, no rings on finger single it seems part of him was relieved ,eyes fixated on her but momentarily he remembered something or more precisely someone and then he looked at her again and this time it was not just to checking her out but more for the confirmation his mind keeps on juggling between past and present ,he is finally confirmed that it's her ,well she has changed massively from what she was in past and it's a beautiful change it's not that she was not pretty back then but it's different now , although acknowledgement of past hit him hard
Well if she's her there's no if she is her then he better keep himself away from her it's not already his presence destroyed more innocent lives in his life and he can't destroy her peaceful life again though it was not him directly but still the glorious Winchester presence is it ever safe for anyone
Brushing away all his thought he drive back to bunker with determination and decision of not crossing her path and maintain distance he must not meet her again but is life that simple you plan something and it shape itself according to it ,life is never that simple .
Tumblr media
Present time
Y/n-"Are you free "
Y/n - " It's a beautiful weather outside so if you are not on road we can meet right at usual place ? "
Y/n - " well it's just I am free for a while it's Friday not much of a work that's why if you message me back in 10 minutes we can meet if not ...then enjoy your hunt
And take care of yourself ok "
His mobile keeps on beeping with text he know it's her
It's ridiculous how his heart flutter when he see her text and her worrying for him he is not some teenage boy but he never experienced such stuffs before it brings some feelings to him which he is oblivious for though he can not deny he don't want it to stop it's dangerous world he want to take this risk
He text her back Immediately well she gave him 10 minutes of time Isn't
Dean - " well not on hunting trip unfortunately
will reach in half hour is that ok "
Y/n - " ok "
Tumblr media
So it's time for him to sneak out ,Sam is busy in studying more about some lore , he can take some time off he was on the stairs and suddenly Sam asked from back " going somewhere "
" Hmm well yes should stretch my leg isn't any problem ? "
"Hmm no just bring some more coffee " Sam ignored him and get back to his usual reading
He sighed relief sometimes he wonder when will Sam interrogate him about him missing from bunker then and now which is more often these days ,or he don't know or don't bother to notice or he is just faking it but let's not poke him before he ask something
After half an hour he reached there and there she was seating on the bench the park was not all that crowdy just some people and kids and there she was sitting there in her floral dress ,loose hair and barefoot her sandles are there scattered on grass She was reading something , well people do enjoy reading isn't it there's Sam and here she is if they meet each other somehow they will definitely going to bore him with their book talk approaching towards her he coughs from back
"Anything interesting on the pages "
"Well there are interesting topic but not anymore "she said smiling at him
If this isn't the most prettiest smile
He sat next to her and give her the tiny shopping bag its not something usual he do but he noticed that she likes chocolate so sometimes he brings her chocolates now smiling even more
" How do you know I need chocolate today " she said wnwrapping the foils of chocolate and start munching them like a child
"Huh " he scoffed understanding what she meant
" So having bad day ? Dean raising his brow
" Well sort of ...you say when did you return back in city "?
Her eyes were on his face maybe trying to read something behind his freckles and when he was not expecting " upset about your mom "
She read him like an open book and each time he get amazed by he is professional liar but not before her
" Well sort of " he chuckled
"Give her sometime it will be alright "
" That's what Sammy said "
"But you don't believe it "
" Well it's not every day your mom return from back from dead and don't want to be with you and your brother but yeah give her sometime " he replied little annoyingly
"Hey be easy on her and yourself " she pat on his shoulder
"Hey are you free this Sunday " she mumbled with hesitation
"Depends if no monster is on killing spree why anything important "
" Nothing just well I will text you " she ignored him and soon wear her sandles
"Woah leaving so soon " he was disappointed
"Yup gotta go just got text from work sorry and thank you for chocolates " she was definitely in hurry collecting her stuff she kissed him on his cheeks
Well it's not something new from sometimes she started kissing him on his cheeks which just make him flustered with emotions he never felt before just a peck of kiss isn't supposed to left him with this much emotion but here he is sitting on bench alone and smiling at her cute gestures or it's more of a blushing well this must not get known to others that fierce hunter is blushing because of a woman

{Flatline} Harvey Specter x OFC {Pt. 1}
Tumblr media
I got the title from this song called Flatline by Jared Benjamin. I added it to this playlist of very Harvey Specter vibes if you'd like to listen. There will be multiple parts, around three so be sure to stick around for those. As always comment and tell me what you think, or pop by in my asks. Anyhoo enjoy my loves!
Word count ~ 10,619 (it is a very fast paced read I promise)
Warnings ~ Age gap, smut (18+), handjob, no real BDSM but Dom/Sub concepts, language, alcohol, anxiety/anxious thoughts, probably really inaccurate lawyer terms idk man.
Summary: Harvey has taken notice of the hardest working first year associate, Claudia Martin. Despite being petrified of the infamous closer, she tried her hardest to not let it get the best of her. Harvey has a few ideas on how to increase her confidence.
Tagging : @maxdamax @ashcosmo @rosedpetal (This is basically just dedicated to you three so I hope you enjoy it the most!)
~~~~~
“Alright, everybody stop,” Harvey announced. I put down my file and sat ramrod straight in my seat, eyes darting at the other associates as they put theirs away too. “We have been working on this case now for four hours and no one has brought me a single thing that I can use as evidence. Now, if someone doesn’t put a file in my hand in the next ten minutes, we’re going to lose. And those of you who don’t want to get stuck doing whatever bullshit Louis is going to punish you with, you better come up with something fast.”
I looked at the blue file in my hands, heart hammering in my chest as I saw Harvey leave out of the corner of my eye. With a deep breath, I pushed up out of my chair and followed after him.
Circling around the office a few times, I made up reasons and excuses not to go see him. It was stupid, I knew that, but I didn’t want to bring him something and then immediately be called an idiot for bringing him shit he already knew.
I saw how he treated Mike. And Louis. Even Donna from time to time.
There were two things you did in this world: die, and respect Harvey Specter. As a first year associate in this god awful firm, you didn’t dare break his trust or waste his time.
“Is Mr. Specter available for a moment?” I asked Donna. I hadn’t talked to her much, but I’ve heard her speak to Harvey a few times around the office. She was someone I wished I knew better, someone I wished I could ask for help, but I didn’t want to bother her either.
“Yeah, he’s in his office going over the statements from the mock trial,” Donna smiled, pointing over her shoulder. I nodded, willing my feet to move in the direction of his office. I knocked before pushing the glass door opening, keeping my head down.
“Claudia, now is really not a good-” “I have something for you,” we spoke at the same time. “I’m sorry to interrupt, I can come back and-” “Is that for the mock trial?” He asked, and I nodded. “Hand it over.”
I placed the file in his outstretched hand as he came around to sit on the corner of the desk. My hands were trembling with dread as his eyes raked over the words on the page. The lines in his forehead creased, eyes narrowing.
“Claudia, this is brilliant,” he had a very confused expression when his eyes met mine. “Where did you find this?”
“Well, I figured if Mrs. Thompson said that she didn’t pay her rent that month, because there wasn't money in her account, then there had to be some kind of a trail. Some clue. There was, but it was only an amount, and it didn’t say which account it came from. When I did some digging, I found out that she uses Capital One banking and when I looked at her bank statement-
“There was a draw for the exact amount that Mr. Saros used to bet on that game,” Harvey finished before I could get the words out of my mouth. “Claudia, this is genius. Come on, we’ve got a case to win.”
____
“...Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, this compelling evidence reveals that Mr. Saros was in fact fraudulent and used his ex- wife’s funds to continue gambling. Thank you.” Harvey closed the argument, taking a seat besides Donna, who represented the client. Jessica looked to the opposing counsel as if to say ‘do you have anything?’. Louis had nothing. Not a sliver of hope.
“Then it is decided, Mr. Saros will be charged with a misdemeanor and face a prison sentence of one year in county jail.”
With a crack of the gavel, the case was over, and applause rang through the office for Harvey and his team. I had a tiny smile on my face as I left the conference room to go back to the bullpen. There was an endless stack of reports to run, motions to file… it never ended when it came to Louis. And now that I was on the winning team I’m sure that-
“Claudia, where are you going?” Harvey called out.
“Oh, I was just going back to my desk. Why, is there something that you need?” God I hope he didn’t need anything. I was sweating bullets by just standing next to him.
“I just wanted to congratulate you on your first win,” he gave a small smirk. His brown eyes were sharp, but not as intense as they usually were.
I flushed, “Well, it’s not really a real case.”
“No, it’s not. But seeing what you did today, how would you like one of your own?” He extended a blue file back to me, a stack of papers covered inside. I could feel the gaze of the other associates on me as I hesitantly took the file.
“Mr. Spector, I’m honored, but I’m not-”
“Yes you are,” he cut me off. I bit my tongue. “You are a lawyer, Claudia. And you clearly have an outside the box approach to your tactics which we don’t see very often. I haven’t seen someone able to compile and order evidence like you since Mike came to work for me a decade ago. I’ll be supervising your case, you report to me with any questions you might have, but otherwise this is all you.”
My first case… given to me by Harvey Specter himself.
“I don’t know what to say,” I whispered. I flipped through the file, seeing that this wasn’t just some pro-bono case. This was against a big time client and the SEC. The SEC meant Sean Cayhill, who, from my understanding, was already on the rocks with this firm and has been for a very long time.
“You can thank me when you win it,” he extended his hand, and I shook it, hoping that they weren’t sweaty. “Look over the file tonight and come ready to swing tomorrow morning.”
Harvey’s hand was warm, and significantly larger than mine. Everything about him was bigger than I was, especially his ego. And his personality. Lord help me…
My nod was the only confirmation that I would meet him there. As he walked out, I met some of the eyes of the associates and they scowled at me. At the file in my hand. At the fact that I hadn’t said a word the whole meeting today and then came up with the winning piece of evidence. And now I was working alongside Harvey.
The infamous closer at Pearson-Specter-Litt.
____
“Claudia, what’s wrong?” Donna startled me so bad I dropped my coffee on the floor with a shout. “Something’s really wrong.”
“Oh, it’s just you Donna,” I sighed in relief. I could feel the coffee seeping into my shirt and chilling against my skin. “Great.”
“What has you so skittish?” She asked, worry gracing her features.
I didn’t want to admit that it was because of Harvey and the fact that I had to work alongside him on this case. I hadn’t been able to sleep much last night because I was up thinking about him, wondering how he’d handle this case himself. What he would do, how he would do it. Sure, I admired the guy, how could I not? He was a perfectionist and always found a way. I wish I had half the confidence he did.
“It’s Harvey, isn’t it?”
“How did you know that? Nevermind, you’re Donna. But… Yes it’s because of Harvey.”
“Did he say something to you yesterday after you guys won the mock trial? I saw he handed you a case file, what was it all about?” “That's precisely what’s wrong,” I groaned, bending over and picking up the dropped paper cup. “He gave me a case of my own as a 'thank you' for finding the evidence that won the trial yesterday. I’m terrified of him, Donna. I-I don’t know how to act around someone with that kind of personality. He is so abrasive and forward and harsh and-”
“A total jackass?” She finished for me.
I chuckled nervously, “I’m afraid to even think of that word in association with his name. I mean, how am I supposed to work alongside someone that intense? Plus, I’m a first year associate, how am I supposed to compete with what he as to offer and-”
“Hey, it’s okay. No need to get yourself all worked up, Claudia. Harvey is a lot of bark, and only some bite.” “That doesn’t make me feel better.”
“What I’m trying to say is that there is some heart inside that cold dead chest of his,” she smiled, a genuine, friendly smile. “For what it’s worth, I’ve never seen him give someone a case after a mock trial. Not even Mike. Up until yesterday I’m not even sure he knew you existed.” “Wish it was still that way,” I rolled my eyes, folding my arms against my chest.
“Claudia, listen to me. Yes, Harvey can be rude and obnoxious, but he is the best damn attorney in the state of New York. He didn’t get to the top by being nice and sweet. He was impressed with your willingness to bring him the evidence yourself. Now he knows he can count on you to get things done in a pinch when he needs them.” “I had that evidence for an hour,” I emphasized. “I was trying to build up the courage to give it to him long before he came and ripped us to shreds for not having anything. I just didn’t want him to think that it was a stupid idea or to be in a bad mood and turn me away because I definitely wouldn’t have done it at all after that. I don’t know how to deal with someone like him, Donna. What am I supposed to do? I should just give the case to Griffin or Thomas-”
“No no no. You are definitely not going to do that. That will only show Harvey that you aren’t serious about becoming a lawyer.”
“I am serious about becoming a lawyer.” I was mildly offended that she’d even say that to me. “Of course I want to be a lawyer, it's all I’ve ever wanted.”
“And Harvey will only know that if you work on this case with him.”
I inhaled and exhaled, leaning my head back and looking at the ceiling. “Fine.” “That’s my girl,” she grinned. “Now, come on. I have an extra dress you can borrow because I am sure as hell not letting you walk around covered in coffee stains.”
“I appreciate it, but I don’t think what you have will fit me.” Donna jerked her head over her shoulder and I followed to a closet in the back of the file room. When she opened it, it was like a full blown wardrobe. There were dresses and shoes and purses and hair supplies lining the walls. “Woah…” “Don’t ever underestimate the power of Donna,” she winked before rummaging through the office closet.
After searching for a few moments, she pulled out a lovely royal blue dress that was, as she hinted at, a perfect size for me. How she knew that it would fit, I’ll never know. But I did know that I wouldn’t ever underestimate the power of Donna ever again. She’s magical.
“Now, what do you say?”
“Thanks, Donna,” I smiled sweetly.
“Actually I was looking for ‘you are an ethereal goddess who makes all my dreams and wishes come true’ but that works too,” I knew she was teasing, and I gave her a small shove of her shoulder. “Go get dressed, come back here and let me do your hair.”
“What’s wrong with the way it is?” I turned to look in the mirror on the back of the door and grimaced. “Oh…” My messy curls from yesterday looked more like a rat wrapped around a bunch of fishing line.
“Hurry up, Harvey will be back soon and I want you in that office, file in hand, ready to go when he gets here.”
I quickly shuffled to the bathroom and changed into the form fitting, very Donna-style dress. It didn’t look half bad, and I actually somewhat tolerated the dress. Normally I’d find a pants suit far more flattering and business appropriate than a dress, strictly because of the over sexualized nature of women's business clothing.
I hate the corporate world.
I did one more glance in the mirror before heading back to the break room to grab the file. I must’ve set it on the counter while I was pouring my coffee. Hopefully it wasn’t ruined.
There was no blue file on the counter. Or the table. Or on top of the microwave or the fridge. I even checked inside the microwave. Nothing. It was nowhere. Oh shit.
“Do you want curls or for me to straighten-” “It’s gone,” there was a clear panic in my voice. “The file, it’s not in the break room, Donna. It’s gone.”
“How can it be gone?”
“I-I don’t- I don’t know I thought I set it on the counter while I was getting coffee and it’s not there.” I felt a cold sweat break out onto my skin. My forehead was damp to the touch.
“Okay, take a deep breath. Let’s go look again and then check your desk. Maybe someone found it and put it there, or maybe left it with me or Gretchen. It didn’t grow a pair of legs and walk away, we’ll find it.”
“I’m gonna get fired,” my voice was almost a silent whisper, tears building behind my eyes, prickling my nose. “Donna, Harvey is going to kill me.”
“Worst comes to worst we get a new file, Harvey will never know.”
“No no no he will because he had notes of his own on the papers in there.” “Shit,” she swore. “Let’s just go look.”
We speed walked through the bullpen, earning some odd looks as we practically sprinted through the office. She checked the break room for me again, and I went to my cubicle. Nothing, not a blue folder anywhere to be seen.
Donna came up empty handed in the break room, checking with Gretchen on her way by Louis’s office. We met at her desk. Nothing.
“Fuck fuck fuck this is bad.” My hands were shaking, heart thundering against my ribs. I felt faint, like I could’ve fallen to the floor at any moment. “Donna, what am I gonna do?”
“Maybe somebody mistook it as their own file,” Donna blurted out after a moment of silence. She took off towards the bullpen and I followed after her, right on her heels. She marched through there, unapologetic as she invaded the other associates' work spaces.
Still nothing. No blue file labeled ‘Devlyn Inc. Vs. Fulton Dynamics’.
“Where the hell could it be?” She murmured to herself.
“What are you guys looking for?” An associate, Benson, asked.
“Oh, you know, a leprechaun pissing pieces of gold,” Donna’s voice was full of sarcasm. “Claudia set down a file in the break room for three minutes and forty-two seconds and now it’s mysteriously disappeared. Know anything about it?”
“No,” he pressed his lips together. “Not really.” “Not really?”
“There are a million case files floating around this office, you really expect me to pay attention to every single one and where it’s going?” “As an associate of this firm, yes, actually. I do. Now I want to know if you know who took her file and I want to know right now. You have one chance to tell the truth, otherwise the bottom of my stiletto and your ass are gonna be great friends.”
Benson swallowed, “I truly don’t know. I’m sorry, I can keep an eye out for it. Is it the one Harvey gave Claudia yesterday?”
“Yes, and he needs it in twenty minutes,” Donna said, an undeniable urgency in her voice. “If you find it, do the right thing and give it back or so help me god you will find yourself jobless faster than you can get down on your knees and beg me to let you keep it.”
Donna beckoned me for her to follow and I did, my heart sinking and sinking into my stomach. It had to be around here somewhere. It had to be.
I did another lap around, rummaging through all the drawers in the desk and thensome. Still nowhere. How could I be so stupid? So irresponsible? This is exactly why I didn’t want to take this case in the first place.
Despite all Harvey and Donna said the other day, I’m not ready to be a lawyer. Not really, anyway. I know I have my license and I’ve passed the Bar. I’ve done all the hard work, but this was… this was hell. A living nightmare. Not only was this firm constantly on the verge of collapsing, but it seemed like I made new enemies every other week by simply doing my job quickly, quietly, and efficiently.
I don’t know how or why I piss everyone off all the time. I just do my work, I quite literally don’t bother another soul in this building unless I have to. Occasionally I’d ask Donna a question that she could ask Harvey or Mike to see what they thought about it. I’d never speak to them directly, just through her which didn’t make me feel good, either.
I’d eat by myself, working through my meal. It took me two months of being here to finally use the break room because I was too nervous about taking the last tea bag or power bar from the cabinet. I just took a disposable coffee cup and filled it with tap water. And then kept that cup because I didn’t want to take the others because I figured other people needed them for coffee and I didn’t want them to be all gone-
“Claudia,” Donna interrupted my mild panic. “Harvey wants to see you.”
Oh no… no no no not yet god please not yet. I swallowed, or tried to at least; there was no moisture in my mouth whatsoever. I stood, knees trembling as I smoothed out the skirt of my dress.
Before I went on, she ran a brush through my hair, taking out the knots. It lay sleek and flat against my shoulders, a major difference from the low bun I always kept it in. My hair always made me so hot; I never understood how anyone could get anything done with it swaying in their face all day.
I could see him in his office, eyes staring us down as we rounded the corner. His gaze was locked on me and I felt my body tighten and constrict around a breath. Harvey was sitting on the corner of his desk, fingers toying with the cufflink on his left wrist..
“Hey, look at me,” Donna spoke softly, hands coming to my shoulders. “Give Harvey the truth, and nothing but. He will understand, if not, I will make him.”
I nodded.
When I pushed open his glass door, tension was thick in the air. My palms were clammy, still shaking. My mind was going a million miles a second.
“What can I do for you, Mr. Specter?” I asked, trying to keep my cool despite almost throwing up.
“Please tell me you have some good news about the case that I gave you,” he sighed, pushing off the desk and standing in front of me.
Welp… here goes my career.
“Actually, Mr. Specter there is something I need to-”
“You were looking for me, Harvey?” I whipped my head over my shoulder, seeing Griffin knocking on the door.
“Yes, Griffin come on please, shut the door as well.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, sir. I can come back and we can discuss the details of-”
“No, Claudia. Stay for a moment,” Harvey gave a firm nod, full attention slipping from me to my fellow associate. “Griffin, I see you have something for me.”
“Yes,” Griffin threw a wicked grin at me before handing over a blue file. I could feel the sick rise in my throat. That was my blue file. “I would just like to go over the details of my case with you to get your input.”
“Your case?” Harvey questioned, sharing a glance between me and Griffin. “Where did you get this? Who the hell gave you a case?”
“That’s not important. I was hoping we could actually-”
“No,” Harvey cut him off. “It’s very important, actually. Because I can recall that just last night this exact file, with my handwriting, was in Claudia’s hands. So whatever act you’re putting on, I suggest you cut the bullshit right now.” “Okay I found it in the breakroom,” Griffin rolled his eyes. “Maybe if she were a little more responsible, which she clearly isn’t because she left her documents in a public space, then she’d be more equipped to handle a real case. Like a real lawyer should.”
I could see the muscle in Harvey’s jaw clench and contract several times.
“Claudia, care to explain how our case got in this thief’s hands?” “Thief?” “I had spilled coffee,” I started, taking a deep breath when Griffin cut me a gaze so threatening I almost crumbled to my knees. “I spilled coffee and Donna offered a change of clothes for me. I didn’t even notice I left it. When I came back it was gone.”
“Well, I think that about settles it. How about you get out of here before you cause yourself a real problem. And If I ever catch wind of you stealing another one of Claudia’s files, or anyones for that matter, I will personally make your life a living hell. Do you understand me?”
“Yes,” he ground his teeth, refusing to look at either of us.
“Now get your ass back to your desk and pray to whoever you believe in that I don’t have you fired and disbarred for the shit you pulled today. Get the hell out of my sight.”
Griffin was out of there far faster than he walked in, head down, hands shoved in his pockets. I let out a shaky breath.
“Are you okay?” Harvey asked me. “I’m so sorry,” I completely ignored his question. “Griffin was right, I was extremely irresponsible and shouldn’t have let that file out of my sight. If you want to give it to another associate I completely understand. Again, I am so sorry and understand that there are consequences to my actions for letting such important information go missing-”
“Claudia, slow down,” he eased. “It’s okay, you are not the one I am pissed at.”
“You’re not?” I didn’t understand why. “But- but I completely misplaced a case.”
“No,” Harvey shook his head. “No Griffin is the only one to blame. You spilled coffee, went to go get cleaned up, and he stole it. He should know better. And seeing that he clearly doesn’t, I know I’m right in my decision on who to bring onto this case with me.”
I could feel my blush creep up my neck. “I appreciate that, Mr. Specter.”
“Of course, Claudia. And please, call me Harvey.”
I just gave a subtle nod, taking the file from his hand. I followed his gaze from my face to my hair where he took a strand between his fingers, letting the end curl around his digit.
“I’ve never seen your hair so long,” He added, dropping it from his grip. My breath was caught in my throat. Words were vacant shadows in my mind as he surveyed the dress I was wearing. “I bet that’s Donna’s, isn’t it.”
I had to clear my throat before I could speak. “She wouldn’t let me walk around with coffee stains all day.”
“It looks good on you,” He complimented. Harvey’s eyes, again, went from my head to my toes. There was nothing I could do but fall victim to his… I didn’t know what to think of how he looked at me. Couldn’t decide if it was good or bad.
“Time for the case then?” I needed to get his attention off of me. Now. I was flushed and losing my mind. Harvey didn’t really seem to acknowledge my words at all.
“Sure.” Was all he gave me.
____
I barely escaped with the skin on my teeth after our consultation. No, he didn’t rip me to shreds, but he would not take his eyes off of me for even one second. It was so… so potent I couldn’t focus. It was almost lunch when Donna came in and saved my ass.
I couldn’t have gotten out of there fast enough.
“So, how did it go?” Donna asked as I sat in my cubicle. When she came around, or maybe she just followed me, I didn’t know.
I put my face in my hands. “It was a disaster, Donna. I was a stuttering mess and I kept forgetting everything I was going to say because he would not stop staring at me. Like, he would not stop.” “Well, you aren’t exactly ugly, Claudia,” she snickered.
“Donna, this isn’t funny,” I groaned. “I’m being completely frank with you.”
“How can I be expected to work alongside him when I can’t stand being in an enclosed space with him for more than four minutes without turning into a bumbling idiot? It’s like he enjoys watching me get flustered.”
“Claudia, I think you are making this a bigger deal in your head than it actually is.” Donna came around and sat on my desk, crossing a knee over the other. “And besides, Harvey understands what it’s like to be a new associate. It can be nerve wracking, especially when you have Louis breathing down your neck.”
I chuckled gravely, “I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do.”
“You’ll figure it out.” “Why can’t you just tell me?” I whined as she stood up.
“Because I am the Yoda to your Luke Skywalker. Wise you are, patience you must have, my young Padawan.”
“I am not a Jedi who is going on a self discovery journey to start using the Force,” I countered. “I am a nervous wreck who can’t handle being alone with Harvey Specter.”
“Then you need to get over it because Harvey is not going to berate you on your first case!” She argued.
“Did you not hear what he said to Griffin? Or-or to Thomas when he suggested that we consider taking the deal that Mr. Saros had offered during the mock trial? He cracked them wide open and left them to bleed. What about with Mike? How many times has he almost sent him to the curb for not being able to find what Harvey needs?”
“Mike is different and you know it,” Donna lowered her voice. “Plus he always says shit like that to light a fire under his ass. Harvey can see that you are nervous to work with him. He isn’t going to hang you out to dry, I promise. He stood up for you, Claudia, in a way I’ve only seen him do with me and Mike. You know how much he cares about us.”
“Well, yeah of course. But you’ve worked for him for fifteen years and Mike almost seven now. You have a relationship with him and established trust. How am I supposed to have that with him when I can’t even look him in the eye?” “It comes with time, Claudia,” she rubbed my shoulder. “But if there is anything I can say to get you to trust the process, Harvey is loyal, almost to a fault sometimes. He will stop at nothing to make sure the people he cares about are taken care of. I can see that he wants that for you because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have given a shit if Griffin stole the file or not.”
Donna walked away after smoothing down some of the hair on my head, disappearing behind the corner. I let out a huff. She was right, I was being a little over dramatic.
Harvey had a reputation, though. How was I supposed to know if- no. This is unrelated to anything going on. Sort of. I just need to focus on the case.
I pulled out the files and looked over them again, compiling all the notes into one space for easy recall. As I was looking through it, I found a loophole in one of the contracts that unbound our client from having to give up half of her company.
____
I paced up and down Harvey’s office, tapping my file in my hand as I went through all my key points in my head for today’s trial. I needed to lure, or bait rather, the witnesses into my questions to get them to admit to trespassing on our clients property. We had everything we needed; security footage, witnesses to testify on our behalf… Everything was all lined up. I just needed to blow it.
I could do this, right? I had only spent all night doing a fake run of how today would go in my mirror, but then again anything could happen when I got into that courtroom today. Maybe they had another leg on us, maybe there was another witness they had to testify against us.
God dammit, if I screwed up today I wouldn’t get another case. Probably not ever again unless I packed up all my shit and moved to Iowa.
Having Harvey there didn’t make me feel better. I thought it would, but as we worked together I realized he only made me more nervous. I couldn’t help it, he just looked at me this way I couldn't describe. It was incredibly annoying, I don’t know how Mike does it. Or Donna. Or Jessica or Louis or-
Jesus focus, Claudia. I rubbed my eyes with my thumbs. Just focus focus focus. I’ve been over it a million times. I could do this. I didn’t have a choice, court was in less than half an hour.
“Claudia,” Harvey ripped me from my concentration, making me jump. “Sorry to startle you. Are you ready for today?” “Not really,” I admitted. “I am kind of freaking out, to be honest.”
“It’s okay,” he eased me to sit next to him. “What are you so nervous for?”
I chuckled, “Everything.” “Okay,” he gave a half-hearted laugh. “What specifically? Just name one thing that you are worried about.”
“I don’t know- forgetting cross examination questions? Screwing up the order so it doesn’t lead him into our trap? A billion things could go wrong and I’m not sure what to do if I freeze or stutter. What if the jury or the opposing counsel laughs at me?”
“That is not gonna happen, Claudia,” Harvey reassured. “You have prepared some amazing questions, you’ve got this in the bag.” “You know, I much prefer to stay in the background and do research. I don’t think I’m cut out to handle court stuff this is-”
“Hey,” he said so softly I almost didn’t hear him. He grabbed my trembling hand and held it between his own. My body went completely rigid, chest puffing in and out with heavy breaths. “You are going to do great today, I know it, Claudia. You are prepared, capable, and even more prepared. This is always what you’ve wanted to do, isn’t it?” I just nodded. Over the past week and a half of working together, I had told him what made me want to be a lawyer in the first place. About how I saw my best friends’ parents' business completely ruined by a group of robbers and their insurance did nothing to help them.
It made me so sad for them, made me feel so sick that I knew I had to do something to help them. I did my research and then brought it to them. They brought it to their lawyer and ended up getting a settlement for far more than they were ever gonna get. All because of me and my discovery that I made on my computer when I was thirteen.
“Okay. Think back to teenage Claudia for a moment. I bet she dreamed of being in this exact position. Where she can help people and give the sorry bastards who put them there a taste of their own medicine. Well, Claudia, here you are. Your very first case. Your very first helping hand. Your very first entrance into the world of the law. And you are going to absolutely shake up those witnesses, blindside them so hard they won’t have a choice but to tell the truth. This is your moment, Claudia’s moment. Don’t let fear take it from you, okay?” Again, all I could do was nod. And think about how warm his hand was in mine. We stood and he let go, leading me out of the office and down to his car waiting for him in front of the building. Ray, his driver, greeted me sweetly as I settled into the back seat with Harvey.
I flipped through my cards over and over and over on our way to the court house. Harvey snatched them from me. “Hey!” “You know the material,” he gave me a pointed look, sliding them in the breast pocket of his jacket.
“I know but-” “There is no but,” he shrugged. “Have just one ounce of confidence, Claudia. Trust yourself.”
All of whatever I had been reading was swept from my mind as he placed his palm on my knee. I hadn’t realized it was bouncing up and down until he pressed against it to stop its movements. I tried to sit still, but I just started picking at my nails instead.
“Claudia,” he said in a stern, commanding voice. I stopped my fidgeting, laying my hands flat in my lap. “Good, just relax. Everything will be alright.”
Highly doubtful. He was playing a dangerous game, and we both knew it. But neither of us said anything as he left his hand there the entire car ride.
____
“After the conclusion of today’s trial, the jury here finds Fulton Dynamic guilty of trespassing and breaking and entering with intent to steal inside information.”
I felt the tension deflate from my body, eyes fluttering shut as the judges whacked the wooden disk on his stand. He said something, but I couldn’t even hear over the roar in my ear. Holy shit we won…
“Claudia,” Harvey shook my shoulder. I snapped my eyes to him. “Come on, let's get out of here.”
He didn’t have to tell me twice.
I rested my head back against the seat, eyes focused on the window outside so I wouldn’t throw up. Man did I hate getting car sick every time I looked at my phone when in a car. The city lights were bright and fierce, unrelenting all hours of the day. Why on god's green earth did I decide to move to New York? Out of all the places I could’ve gone to work as an associate in this state, why did I choose the city? I hate the city. I’ve always hated the-
“Yoo-hoo,” I heard from my side. I lifted my exhausted head and gave Harvey a look. “Did you hear anything I said?”
‘Oh… n-no I’m sorry,” I stiffened, giving him my full attention. “What were you talking about?”
“I was just saying that you did a great job today, Claudia. You kicked ass in there,” he smiled.
“Thanks, Mr. Specter.” I just let out a sigh.
“You don’t think so?”
“Not really.” Anxiety swirled in my chest. Tears pricked my eyes and nose.
“Why not? Claudia, you gave one of the best cross examinations I think I’ve ever seen. And the way you handled Cayhill? Defended Devlyn from those accusations? It was masterful.”
“It doesn’t feel like it.”
Silence hung between us. I felt like I couldn’t breathe. “You did great today.”
“I was a complete idiot when I was defending Devlyn. I was way too animated and let my emotions get the best of me. For Christ's sake Judge Peterson gave me a warning.”
“I want you to take a guess at how many warnings judges give me when I’m the one in there leading the case.”
“You’re Harvey Specter, of course you… get a lot.”
“You right, I do get a lot. But that isn’t a bad thing. And I’ve been doing this a hell of a lot longer than you-” “That’s the problem,” I snapped. “You have been doing this for seventeen years and I’ve been doing it for ten days. I’ve barely got my toe in the water and I’ve already shown other lawyers and firms that I can’t keep my cool.”
“Claudia, you are passionate. I don’t see that as a huge problem in the courtroom. There needs to be a level of pushback from attorneys because if you, of all people on someone’s legal team, aren’t going to fight back, then you might as well be fired. Because you are the only person some people have hope for. You have to be aggressive and assertive sometimes to get the job done.”
“I don’t know how to do that.”
“I am going to teach you,” Harvey’s words completely short circuited my brain.
“What do you mean?”
“Claudia, I think you’re going to be a great lawyer, even without my help. I know you struggle with confidence and that is all I want to help you with. To get some leverage over these other associates so you can climb that ladder.”
“I can’t just magically pull a wagon load of confidence out of my ass overnight,” I shook my head, folding my hands tightly together. “I don’t see how you can help me.”
The car pulled up outside the building and Harvey let out a sigh. Great. Now I’ve pissed him off, too. That’s exactly what I needed to do was piss off Harvey Specter after a great win. In all honesty, it had been a good day. I didn’t fumble the ball like I was going to, but this was completely taking away from them.
My door opened. Harvey looked down at me from outside and extended his hand. When did he get out of the car? I hesitantly took it, getting out and shutting the door behind me.
“Claudia,” Harvey started. “You need to learn to let go. To put the bad moments behind you.” “I can’t.” “Which is why you and I are going to go back up there and have a drink. Get to know each other a little bit so we can start building that trust. I know I intimidate you, and I try like hell to be as calm as I can around you, but one day Louis or Jessica or Donna is going to come into my office and give me some bad news. You might be there and see how I handle it. You might not, but I don’t want you to be afraid of that happening to you.”
“And how can I be sure that if I come up with a plan one day, and it falls through and goes to shit, you won’t flip out on me or fire me or-or-”
“Because I won’t. I give you my word. But I need yours as well.”
“Need my word, why?” “I need to know that you won’t think I’m a monster if you’re in the room and I lose my cool.”
I’ve never thought Harvey was a monster to begin with. I’ve always admired his ability to shut off his feelings and get the dirty work done. Of course I’ve seen that side of him a time or two, but never catastrophic like some of the stories I’ve heard from the third and fourth years.
“You have my word.”
The elevator chime brought me out of my spiraling momentarily to walk to Harvey’s office. The firm was empty, not even Jessica was here. He led me to his office and got to work on the drinks. My eyes wandered from him to the view through the window. This was the only part of the city I might’ve let myself enjoy from time to time.
“Donna was right, you do have a lot of music,” I noted, taking in the wall filled with vinyl records. She mentioned it when I was caught with my head buried in a book in the library, some random Beatles song blasting so loud she could hear it down the hall.
“You’re just now noticing that?” “Well, I haven’t exactly been in your office for anything other than to work on this case so… no I guess I never really noticed.”
“You can pick something to listen to, if you’d like.” He was gonna let me touch his records? This place was like a museum; autographed basketballs and baseballs, art hanging on the wall. “Or you can just stare at it.”
I flushed, picking up a record at random and handing it to him. In exchange, he handed me a glass a third full of whisky. I smelled it, it kind of made me scrunch my nose. I didn’t drink often; most of the time I was too tired to even feed myself let alone consume alcohol.
When I took a sip, I actually didn’t mind the taste. It was smooth, simple in flavor and didn’t burn too bad. Quite nice, for all it’s worth.
There was a couch along the wall of records that I fixed myself on, Harvey taking the time to remove his tie and lay it across his desk before sitting across from me on one of the chairs. I toed off my pumps and set them on the floor beside the table. God damn did my feet hurt.
“Do you do this with all the new associates?”
“What do you mean?” He asked, taking a seat in one of the chairs while I took up the couch.
“I mean, when you think they’re ready, do you give them a case and help them get their foot in the door?”
“No, no I don’t,” Harvey admitted. “Louis is in charge of the associates. You know that.”
“Yes,” I nodded. “But I just thought that there was some deal between you guys: you have a mock trial with the new associates, whichever team wins gets to give a case to the best performing associate.”
Harvey laughed. I didn’t even know he knew how to do that. “Oh, Claudia, you really are that innocent, aren’t you?” My throat collapsed on itself. What did I say?
“Relax,” he set his glass down, swallowing his sip. “Yes, we do a fake trial every year for the first years, but we don’t just give them cases when they win. No one in their right mind would give a first year associate, fresh out of law school, the time of day. Normally they have to prove themself down the line, after years and years of loyalty to this firm to get their first case. And it’s usually pretty easy pro-bono shit.” I had to stop and think for a moment before I could speak. “You keep saying normally, usually… What are you saying?”
“What I’m saying, Claudia, is that in my decade plus of working here, I’ve never seen an associate who busts their ass quite like you. Who takes every ounce of bullshit from Louis and turns it into the Mona Lisa.”
“I think that everyone does tha-”
“No,” he cut me off. A stern look in his eyes, lips in that crooked line. “No they don’t. Not like you. You put your head down, get into it, and don't come up until you’ve found what you were looking for and thensome. You go above and beyond every time. You don’t go to Louis begging for more work, he brings it to you, and only you, because he knows he can count on you. Which means I know I can count on you, too.”
I honestly didn’t know what to say. I kind of just wanted the ground to swallow me whole. To make me evaporate and never see the light of day again.
“Thank you, Mr. Specter. But I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but I am not very good in the spotlight. I don’t do well with… all of this.”
“I know, but I’m glad that you are trying anyway,” his smile was very charming. In a way that made his eyes crinkle. “So, besides giving a hell of a cross examination, what else do you like to do for ‘fun’?”
“Well, for starters, your definition of fun, and mine, are going to be very different. I am a very solitary person, I don’t need to be around people to have a good time. Most of the time I prefer to go do things by myself because I find when I ask, people already have plans, or they’re faking having plans so they don’t have to hang out with me. I can’t tell what is the truth and what isn’t so I stopped asking… that was totally not what you asked. Sorry, I didn’t mean to ramble.”
“Go ahead, talk about whatever you want. I won’t judge you.”
A small part of me believed that he wouldn’t. A tiny, microscopic part.
“There is nothing like the feeling of getting lost in a good book. I’m a complete sucker for a cliche rom-com where the bad guy gets the good girl.”
Harvey let out a dramatic puff of air, laughing into the space around us.
“You said you wouldn’t judge!” I chuckled.
“I’m not, it’s just lame. Come on, what do you really like to do for fun?”
“That is what I really like to do for fun,” I let my hand fall to the cushion beside me. “I told you, I am not a very interesting person. I don’t have time for a whole lot of anything other than working here so… Most of my hobbies have been put on the back burner through grad school and working nonstop.”
“If you could be any type of sea creature, what would you be?”
“What does that literally have anything to do with anything we were just talking about?”
“It doesn’t,” Harvey smiled. “I’m just curious.”
“I don’t know, a jellyfish?”
“Really?” He questioned, one brow rising higher than the other. “I’d be a great white shark.”
“Of course you would,” I snickered. “Harvey Specter, the Great White of New York. If you wanted to be a real predator that no one fucks with, you should be an Orca.” “A whale?” “The killer whale,” I corrected. “They put sharks in the obituary for fun, you know. They sink yachts for fun, too. If you really want to be on top, be an Orca. No one in their right minds fucks with an Orca. They’re intelligent and not afraid of anything.”
“Aww, you think I’m intelligent and not afraid of anything?” Harvey mewled.
“Well, duh you’re Harvey Specter.” Everyone knew it. Harvey was the baddest cat in the sky, you didn’t approach him without giving him your respect. Cause if you didn’t, a whole boat load of shit will be coming your way.
Harvey rolled his eyes. “Well, I hate to break it to you, but there is more to Harvey Specter than the title my name comes with.”
“Of course,” I agreed. “Harvey Specter, badass attorney and the best closer New York has ever seen, killer whale of the corporate world.” Harvey couldn’t keep his laugh inside, sending the rumbling noise into the office. I made Harvey laugh, and I have for the past however many minutes.
“You left out the part where I’m devastatingly attractive and charming,” his smirk was nothing short of either of those things. Devastating and charming. It cut through me like a hot knife. I knew I blushed because his eyes went to my cheeks and that spot at the base of my throat that always gives it away.
My fingers tapped away anxiously at the glass in my hands, fingernails rattling against its crystal surface.
“It’s late I should… I should go.” Great, now I’m flustered and stuttering. As quickly as I could, I threw my heels back on and reached for my coat.
“Claudia-”
“Thank you for the drink, and for all your help on the case,” I hurried out, trying to not let my voice break and give away all the things I wanted to say. “Have a good night, Mr. Specter.”
“Claudia.” His voice commanded, stopping my movements. I held still on the couch, drinking in his stare. “Stay.”
“Mr. Specter I really should-”
“Harvey,” he bit out a little harshly. “Stop calling me Mr. Specter.”
“I’m sorry. Harvey, it’s late.” He just nodded, taking a sip from his glass. “And?”
“It’s been a long day and I think we should both go and get some much deserved rest,” I spoke quietly, resuming my nail picking from earlier.
“Do you really want to leave?”
It was such a loaded question. Yes, absolutely I wanted to fucking leave. But there was something deep in his eyes, deep in his voice that made me want to stay and explore. My heart was hammering in my chest. I couldn’t keep my eyes off him, no matter how much I wanted to look away. It was impossible.
“I don’t think you do,” he answered for me. “I told you I was going to help build your confidence.”
You never told me how, jackass, I thought. I swallowed, nothing going down, but I did it anyway. Harvey threw back what was left of his whisky and sat back, knees far apart, fingers drawing patterns on the arm rests of the chair.
“Come here, Claudia.” What? “You heard me.”
Shit, I must’ve said it out loud. If I thought my heart was racing before, it sure as hell was halfway around the world now. Legs trembling, I rose. Why the fuck did I stand up? It wasn’t too late to make a beeline for the door and pray he didn’t catch up. Then again, it wasn’t like I could escape him, we worked in the same fucking building. On the same floor.
When I came to a halt, a few feet in front of him, he held out his hand, palm up. As I put my fingers in his grasp, there was nothing I could do. Harvey yanked me to him, other hand catching my hip as I collapsed into him with a yelp.
“Straddle my thigh,” he ordered. Something about the way his voice went down my spine made me obey. With extreme hesitance, I moved one leg on each side of his, lowering myself. I didn’t dare put all of my weight down. And he knew it because his hands came up to my hips and forced me all the way.
“Sir, what are you-”
“Do not call me Sir unless you are ready to deal with those consequences.” His fingers dug into the exposed skin on my thigh, eyes full of his pupils.
“Harvey, what are you doing? We shouldn’t be doing… whatever this is,” I tried to defuse the situation as best I could, but there was such a seriousness written in his features I wasn’t sure I could sway him. Maybe I didn’t want to, either.
“How does it feel?” He asked.
I blinked, “H-How does what feel, Harvey?”
He smiled at the use of his name on my tongue. I hadn’t really ever called him by his first name.
“To have one of the most powerful men in the city underneath you, bent to your will?”
When I did look away from his face, to where I was seated on his lap, I felt my stomach start to twist and mold into something new. I did have Harvey Specter underneath me. Granted, at his own command, but still…
“And before you even think about it, no. I don’t do this with all the other associates.”
“Then why me?” My voice was a barely there whisper, gaze averted from his until his thumb caught my chin and made me look into his eyes.
“Because I see something else in you that I don’t think anyone realizes. And I know the world will never see it unless you start believing in yourself and take control of the cards you’ve been dealt.”
I took a moment to steady my breath, and my uncontrollable thoughts. “And you think that whatever this is… you think this is going to help with that?”
Harvey shrugged, “I am in no way forcing you to be here, am I?”
My blush came creeping back. Of course he wasn’t forcing me to be here. I shook my head, my face just inches from his. I felt oddly relaxed under his touch.
“And I am not stopping you from getting up and leaving right now. It’s your choice, Claudia, but I think you want to be here, on my lap. Because if you didn’t, you would’ve already left.”
God dammit I hated this cocky son of a bitch. Was he right? Yes. Of fucking course he was. But the way his mouth curled up was dangerous. This was dangerous, and utterly a horrible idea. Was I really about to sit here, on one of my bosses thighs? He did look pretty good under me, shirt unbuttoned the top three, cologne wafting into the air every time he moved his head.
Harvey’s hands came back to my hips as he leaned up.
“So, are you going to get up and leave? Or, are you going to ride my thigh while I tell you how pretty you look?” His breath tickled my ear, his lips trailing the space just below. I couldn’t help the shudder that went through my whole body, and I knew Harvey felt it because he cooed.
As I adjusted myself, I couldn’t help the movement, his breath on my skin was making me flutter, Harvey moved my hips back and forth. I felt the air take from my throat. The material of his pants against my core wracked through me. So unexpectedly I found myself pressing closer to him so I wouldn’t fall off.
“That’s it, Claudia…” His voice was sickly sweet with praise. Harvey moved to fiddle with the front of his pants, and when I went to look, he caught my chin. “Eyes up here, sweetheart.”
“Harvey this… this isn’t the best idea,” I kept trying to reason. Not necessarily with him, but with myself. Obviously he wanted it, so why was I trying to convince myself to go?
“So?”
“This could have some serious implications if we don’t-”
He laughed against my neck, placing a few kisses right over where I always blushed. “Claudia, Claudia, Claudia. This is exactly what I have been talking about. You are wound far too tightly with concern. You need to let go, need to be out of control with something in your life.”
“Let me guess, that something is going to be you?”
“Only if you want it to be,” he said. “Look Claudia, I know we don’t exactly always see eye to eye on things, and we sure as hell haven’t really worked together, but that doesn’t make me less sure about this. About you. If you are having doubts, and this isn’t what you want, then walk away and we never have to talk about it ever again. But I think there is a part of you that really likes seeing me under you. That likes knowing you can make me this way.”
“And what if I do?” Harvey was right. God dammit he was right and he knew it. I looked and saw just what I had been doing to him.
“Then just let yourself enjoy it because I know I want to.”
Man, he was quite the smooth talker. My resolve crumbled and I gave in. No, I didn’t give in, I made the choice to let this happen. Harvey wanted this too, for some reason known only to the great mother and beyond. This was not going to end well, I don’t know why I thought so, but I just know this is going to cause a problem down the road. Maybe it’ll be a good one, maybe it won’t– Jesus I need to get out of my head before I start thinking into oblivion.
Harvey rolled his eyes, hand cupping the side of my face before his lips met mine. The gasp I let out… I could feel his smile. He guided my hand into the front of his pants, but did nothing else. Just left it there.
When I tried to pull away, he bit my lip and pulled me right back in. Finger pressing into the front of my throat. In a commanding, possessive way that made my stomach burn with desire.
I slowly traced around the outline of him. My fingers were trembling so fiercely that I wasn’t sure they were moving at all. As best I could control them, I made my way up to the waistband of his briefs, just… testing the waters.
“You’re so close to where I need you,” Harvey purred, eyes looking at my surly swollen lips. “Go on, sweetheart, don’t be shy.”
I guess there really was no turning back. As my hand ventured further, I ducked down and swept my tongue into his mouth. He approved very enthusiastically. Harvey continued to guide my hips back and forth and back and forth across his thigh. All too gently, all too slowly. One of his hands kept working my hip, the other camp up around my throat.
How could he know that was one of my weakest sides? It didn’t prevent any air, but it was a firm reminder.
His breath broke our searing lips when I moved my thumb over the tip of his cock. Harvey’s grip tightened on my throat and a noise slipped through my mouth. There was little I could do to keep my eyes from lulling back, head going with it. He made an effort to weave his fingers between my locks and pulled. A lot harder than I think he actually meant to.
“Sorry, sweetheart,” he murmured against my ear, sending goosebumps down my neck and arms. “I can’t help myself when you make such pretty noises. I’ll be gentle.”
I huffed out a laugh, as best I could with the straight against my neck. “I don’t mind.”
“Those are dangerous words, Claudia,” he warned, bringing my head back up. His eyes were dark in a way I couldn’t process in that moment. His lips were red and his hair was a mess from my fingers.
I tugged at him as emphasis for my earlier words. “I don’t mind you being rough with me.”
His eyes closed, and his jaw clenched. I continued my motions, slow and long, drawing divine noises from him. Even with his hands away from my hips, I still moved them, picking up pace with my hand. I took the liberty to occupy his mouth with my own, hopefully filling him with euphoria. It was fast, and quite messy. My hair was sticking to the back of my neck with sweat, and I could taste it on his skin when I couldn’t help but trail my tongue up his throat.
Harvey murmured my name, but I didn’t stop. I couldn’t now, not with the constant moans and praise from his tongue. ‘Just like that sweetheart’, ‘I know that pretty mouth of yours will feel so much better wrapped around my cock’, ‘Can’t wait to take you apart’.
With his release, warm and wet over the back of my hand, he stilled my hips. Fingers digging in. At some point my skirt rode up, or he tugged it over my ass, and his nails left long lines of scratches. I hissed, and Harvey was breathing deep.
Harvey’s grin was nothing short of animalistic as he looked at where my hand still connected us. “Look at that, sweetheart. Look how well you’ve done.”
I could do nothing to keep my blood from rushing to my face. When I moved my hand– not entirely sure if I should get up and clean it off– Harvey snatched my wrist.
“Open.”
I was going to question him, but I watched his eyes flick over my surely swollen lips. I flushed deeper. And deeper again as he moved them into my mouth. Bitter, but not in a bad way. And If I had been thoroughly fucked, I’d undoubtably find it irresistible.
“Good girl, Claudia.”
There would be no way to recover from hearing that. I shuddered, so hard I clamped his thigh between my own, and whimpered. Like I had never before. And his stare… the way his eyes watched my tongue circle over my fingers. As they watched me swallow him down.
“I bet you didn’t even realize,” he tilted his head, tucking hair behind my ear, flopping it behind my shoulder.
“Realize…what?”
“How you took control. How confident you were with your hand… with that wicked tongue of yours. It was like it was second nature for you, wasn’t it? I didn’t even have to tell you to keep moving your hips. You just did it.”
I didn’t even know I was doing most of it… It all just happened. At some point or another.
“I wouldn’t say that I was confi-”
“Yes,” he interrupted. “You were. And that feeling, of being in control, is what you need to feel when you are in the courtroom. You were able to do it here, with me, to me. It was the most powerful and direct I’ve ever seen you.”
“Sex and being a lawyer aren’t exactly the same thing.”
“No, but you were able to feel safe and let yourself go. To release all that potential and work miracles.”
“You’d consider me giving you an orgasm a miracle?”
He chuckled, leaning so his lips brushed against mine. “Your hands do miraculous things to me, Claudia. I don’t normally give myself to someone the way I did with you. I didn’t have any second thoughts about it because I knew how willing you’d be to please me. And god damn do I love watching you pleasure yourself for me.”
In the minutes that followed, Harvey stood me up and straightened out my skirt. He did give me some hand sanitizer until I could go to the bathroom. I watched as he tucked in his shirt, buttoning his pants and rolling the sleeves back up his arms.
“Harvey?”
“Yes, Claudia?” His voice was much more mellow.
“How often is this… you know. Gonna happen?”
He smirked, “Why, already picturing yourself on your knees for me?”
I wasn’t, but I sure as hell was now. One thing that I needed to learn to do was control my facial reactions because judging by the way his stepped closer, he could see that I was, in fact, picturing his hand in my hair while he forced me to take it down my-
“Oh sweet sweet Claudia,” he chuckled, tilting up my chin. “You really are that eager to please me.”
“I was just wondering when you were going to return the favor.”
Harvey seized my throat, tighter than he had before. “Don’t you worry, sweetheart. I will have my name dripping from your tongue for so long you will forget it completely and beg for mercy. And when you beg for it, just know that you won’t get it until I say you do.”
Hey. It’s me, the person that requested the joker headcanons
Ofc take your time, I will come back to see if it’s posted ;)
p.s: can’t wait to read it
Dating the Joker headcanons
A/N: Hope you like it <33333.
Pairing: Jared!Joker x GN! Reader
Warnings: mention of toxic relationship/ use of pet names/ cursing/ a bit of fluff/ a tiny bit of smut/ mention of being drunk/ mention of death/ my horrible writing since I'm sleepy.
Tumblr media
Soooo you're dating THE Joker huh... How drunk were you when you made this decision? No, because really if you're not insane now you're gonna be soon.
First of all I don't even know how the two of you met since he's like escaping from an asylum to another constantly, but shhhhhh these are just small details.
He's possessive. That's for sure, he likes to keep you around him at all times, in his office, sitting in his lap during meetings, hell even during the executions of his so unlucky collegues
Oh and that means he also LOVES to show you off, you're like his little prize, and this can be a really dangerous game.
Because let's be honest we know that with the Joker it's all about games. So when he gets tired of a plaything he just.... Well he either kills the poor babe or he totally forgets about them.
But don't be naive, if he doesn't break up with you, you can't leave, it does not matter if he got bored of you, you're still his.
So if you try to leave you'd end up with lots of unwanted not so little gifts on your doorway, such as dead animals or even human organs in a box.
Oh but he's just crazy like that
No but seriously don't try to leave him, trust me on this one.
He also have an affectionate side I can assure you.
Like when a robbery just went great, he would just put you on his lap and hug you tight tight while making out with you, and maybe more ;)
This man just ADORES having you on his lap.
He just can't get enough of it. Of you.
That's also because 4 out of 10 of the times you're on his lap you're cockwarming him, but that's another story.
He would also use all kind of pet names for you, from the most common to the most weird shit you've ever heard.
I wouldn't be surprised if he actually said that LMAOO
Do not really expect to have any freedom or privacy when in a relationship with him, if it's not him it's one of his bodyguards always keeping a close eye on you.
Like close.
Close close.
Close close close- you get it.
But at the end of the day it could be worse.
You're getting spoiled and babied, no one messes with you and you spend a lot of time with him... Even if he's always moody and refuses to cuddle you.
Little do you know that every night, when he thinks you're fast asleep, he lets you curl up against his chest and snuggle in it.
He's just crazy like that.
Sex with Sam Winchester Would Include:
Tumblr media
Okay, let's get something straight here. People would underestimate how good sam was in bed until they slept with him. Because Sam was excellent in bed.
Way kinker than he looks... that being said, he loves to try out new things with you and takes safe words VERY seriously during roleplaying. Your safety and well-being come first to him.
This man Worshipped your body, every single thing would be worshipped, every scar, stretchmark, freckle. He loved your body and he wanted to make sure you knew that.
"You are so beautiful...baby"
Lots of kisses
Especially on your neck, he loves giving you hickeys
Don't forget your thighs...Sam loves biting, kissing, and marking you up right there.
But...this man is godsent for oral and using his fingers. Of course, he gives it for his partner's pleasure, but it gives Sam so much pleasure to himself.
Plus, the way he makes his finger move in you. Makes you squirm under him, and man... he loves to watch you squirm.
"Look how much your squirming baby...I'm just using my fingers."
You being under him squirming around, he loves watching you like that. Because your doing it all for him.
This man, would eat you out like it was his LAST MEAL.
Like you would already be feeling like you’re were gonna have a orgasm and he only used his fingers and his mouth.
Shower sex to save “water”
Blowjobs that literally makes Sam think he is gonna die because of how good you make him feel.
His hands would be on the back of your head while you take him.
“Just like that babygirl.”
His nicknames for you would always be “baby” , “babygirl.”
Sam would make you look at him while he fucks you, his hand around your neck choking you.
He would sometimes go slow and hard, or fuck you like the earth is ending
After all the action, aftercare was a MUST
Sam does aftercare amazingly.
Lots of cuddles, bath times, him cooking for you, watching tv.
Sam gave you all the care you needed.
Prologue
Alexis watches him leave, tears in her eyes, before turning back to the Castle, refusing to accept that this is the end. “This can’t end like this. It just can’t.”, she thinks, as tears begin to fall and sobs rake her body.
***
Henry rides away, back to where his men are waiting, his heart broken by having to leave Bella and Alexis behind. He signals his men forward, wanting to return home and leave this pain behind.
As he rides down the tree flanked dirt road that eventually will lead him to the border between both Kingdoms, Henry wonders what his life could’ve been like if he and Bella had had a fair chance at being together, if things didn’t get as messy as they did.
He knows that with his reputation it would be an uphill battle, but knowing Bella, it would be one that she would be more than prepared to fight, if it meant they could be together.
Maybe he should turn his horse around and do exactly what Alexis had asked him to do. Maybe he could fight for Bella, show her that the man that Alexander wanted her to believe he was, isn’t the man that is so deeply in love with her. Maybe it isn’t too late for them.
Henry kicks himself mentally. He knows he’s wrong, the damage Alexander did can’t be so easily undone. Because of it, Bella will always doubt him, even if it’s just a little, when it comes to him and his reputation. There’s nothing he can do about that.
He shakes his head and decides that all he can do now is try and forget Bella, allowing time to get things back to what they were before he decided to try to court Bella, no matter how much it hurts.
Hope you enjoyed it. :)
Endangered | Chapter Fourteen
Paul Lahote x OFC
Endangered Masterlist
Summary: Vampires and wolves are not the only supernatural creatures to walk the earth, and they are certainly not the only ones in Forks, Washington when Charlotte Annabeth Swan, “Anna”, moves in with her uncle after the unfortunate demise of her parents.
Some may misidentify her as a witch, but that’s fine, she would rather them think that anyway. But the Volturi know the truth, and they are closing in on her.
Tumblr media
The slamming of the front door makes me jump from in the kitchen, dropping the lid to a pot with a loud clang. Sauce for the pasta currently that’s cooling in a colander bubbles up and splashes on the counter as I curse under my breath.  Looking around the corner, I see Bella looking back at me with hard eyes.
“Uh, hello?” I say confused, “Everything okay?” Bella pauses for a moment, her eyes shifting from the ground back to my eyes a few times.
“Yeah,” she says sharply, turning around, but just as she goes to take a step, she spins back to face me, “Actually no… are you okay?”
I shake my head back, caught off guard by her question. I turn off the heat to the stove to give her my full attention.
“Me? I’m fine Bells. What’s going on?”
“I saw Paul today, with Sam.”
I notice her voice is strained, and it just feeds my confusion. Bella had never really met Paul, and she didn’t express any interest in doing so. It probably should have stung, the fact she had an interest in my life, but she had no interest in anything for months. I was used to her callousness.
“Oh? Okay? They hang out pretty frequently. I’m not surprised you saw them together.” I cross my arms over my chest, not liking the tone of this conversation.
“Exactly,” Bella pauses again, before taking a deep breath. “Jacob thinks they are up to something bad, and they are intimidating him trying to get him involved in whatever they are doing. Are they… are they pressuring you too?”
“Bella, what are you talking about?” I ask, she was talking fast, and I don’t understand what she was trying to say.
“Did they make you drop Jake? Are they threatening you to not talk to him?” Bella doesn’t look me in the eyes when she asks as she shifts her weight back and forth on her feet.
I must take a deep breath, counting in and out to calm myself before responding.
“You are way off base, Bella. I didn’t drop Jacob,” I say, keeping my voice level.
“He said he never sees you anymore because Paul is possessive.”
“Paul is not the problem in this equation. Jacob doesn’t like them, which is fine, but he took it out on me. The only time Paul has ever gotten between us is when Jacob called me a whore.”
My voice is getting a little louder, even if I don’t mean it to. I can feel myself getting protective of Paul, angry Bella would accuse him of anything like that.
“And even then, I’ve forgiven Jacob, even after he has put a wall between us,” I add on.
“They are in a gang Anna, of course, he doesn’t want to be involved,” Bella says, her voice meeting mine.  She’s matched my posture now, arms crossed and defiant. Bella is protective of Jacob now too it seems.
A dry laugh rips from my throat, “Oh, that’s rich. A gang? Seriously?”
“Yes! And Jacob told me about Paul, how he’s violent and he’s dangerous. Maybe you shouldn’t be around them.”
I clench my fists tight and bite down, I can feel my magic bubbling up inside me and it takes a lot of concentration to push it back down.
“Okay, this” I gesture between us, “has gone too far. You are one to talk about being around dangerous people Bella. Especially with your history. I am dangerous, or did you forget that other things still exist, even without the vampires around?” I choke out, still straining with frustration.
“It’s not the same,” Bella whispers, her shoulders rounding as she pulls in on herself. I know I’ve hit a nerve.
“It is! You’ve never even met him and here you are spouting bullshit about my boyfriend. Who, in fact, is one of the most caring and loving people I’ve ever met. I realize that Jacob is your whole world now, but don’t bring his imaginary problems into my life.”
“So, Jacob is just lying?” She scoffs in disbelief.
I sigh, “Jacob just doesn’t understand.”
“Then explain to him and to me.”
“There’s nothing to explain! They aren’t in a gang Bella. That’s such a horrible rumor. Most of them are teenagers. Sam is a good person and hey look up to him. Why is that so hard to believe?”
If Bella has a response, she doesn’t give it to me, but the silence is loud enough.
“Can’t you just trust me?” I plead.
She bites her lips and stares at the floor.
“Promise?” She sighs.
“I promise.”
She nods and bolts out of the kitchen and to the stairs, and I know I’ve probably made her upset. Sighing, I pinch the bridge of my nose.
“I’m sorry Bella,” I call out after her, walking to the base of the stairs. When she turns back to look at me from the top, she just shrugs before responding.
“I’m sorry too.”
I can’t tell if she’s sorry for what she said or if I don’t believe her about Jacob’s accusations.
-----------------------------------------
“Paul!” I shriek as he grabs me around the waist from behind, spinning me around.
“This is cheating!” I yell, clutching the football to my chest. The waves are crashing on the shore, and the rest of the pack are yelling behind us. Sam yelling at me to hold on, Embry shouting at Paul to get the ball.
“Is not cheating, it’s strategy,” he laughs, grabbing the end of the ball. I grip harder but am laughing too much to hold on.
“You’re just mad that Sam picked me to be on his team because I can throw a football better than you!”
“Those are fighting words, baby girl,” he says as the football finally is ripped from my hands, but Paul gently sets me down and presses a chaste kiss on my lips before running back to Embry. Rolling my eyes, I call to them that I’m taking a break. Sam calls Jared away from the food to take my place.
I walk from the beach to the bathrooms, but on the way, I stop at my Jeep, checking my phone for anything from Charlie.
Missed Call – Billy
Missed Call – Billy
Missed Call – Jake
Missed Call – Jake
Missed Call – Billy
Missed Call – Jake
Missed Call – Jake
“Oh shit,” I say, calling Jacob back.
Jacob doesn’t pick up right away. I call Billy but there’s again no answer.
I’m frantically looking for my keys in my pocket when my phone rings again.
Jake.
“Hello? Jake? Is everything okay?” I gasp out.
“Anna.... something is wrong,” His voice is shaky and tired, he sounds scared.
“Jacob, where are you?”
“I’m in the woods somewhere. I... I don’t know. Everything hurts Anna, I don’t know what happened?”
The shift.
“Stay on the phone with me okay, I’m gonna get you help.” I run to the beach, screaming Sam and Paul’s name. Paul is already looking at me, I feel confusion and worry coming from him. They are too far down the beach for me to tell them, so I yell it into their minds.
Jacob shifted, he’s alone and scared and in the woods. Please go find him.
They all flinch at the force of the intrusion, and I follow it with an apology.
On it, I hear from Sam.
We’ll find him, Jared responds.
“Jake, someone is coming to get you, okay? Talk to me until they get there?”
“Who?”
“Who, Jake does it matter? I want you to be safe.”
Anger laces in his voice, “Is it Sam? Did you tell Sam and Paul?”
“Jake…” my voice breaks, “Don’t do this, I just want you to be safe.”
“Fucking of course,” he growls. I hear his hard breathing and he yells out before the phone goes dead.
I stare down at my phone, and I don’t notice the tears streaming down my face until one falls onto the screen.
Jake has shifted, and now he’s going to know the truth. About everything. He will have to shoulder the burden of the danger and secrets. He’s going to find out about Bella and the Cullens. He’s going to find out about me.
Paul’s familiar hands find the side of my face and bring my attention to him. I hadn’t even noticed him run up to me.
“Hey,” he whispers.
“Hi,” I whisper back.
“It’s going to be okay. Let’s go to Billy’s.”
“You aren’t going with them?” I ask, voice cracking.
“Sam, Embry, and Jared are. I’m taking Emily home and you to Billy’s with me. Jacob isn’t the fondest of me, we thought it was best he sees Embry first.”
“Does Billy know?”
“I called him while you are on the phone with Jacob.”
I nod and he puts an arm around me, walking me back to the Jeep where Emily is already in the back seat. Paul helps me into the passenger seat, and Emily lays a comforting hand on my shoulder.
It’s a silent drive, interrupted only by my sniffles, trying to hold back any more tears.
It works until we pull into Billy’s driveway, and I see he’s waiting for us, a solemn look on his face.
“Anna,” he sighs, his face looking a little less crestfallen as I hug him.
“I’m so sorry I missed your call.”
“It’s okay,” he says and nods once at Paul, “Let’s go inside.”
I can’t seem to sit still and am making coffee in the kitchen as Paul and Billy sit at the table, waiting for news. It’s familiar here. I know where the mugs, the coffee machine, and even the good coffee Billy hides from Jacob all are. For a while, this place felt like a safe place. Now, I just feel like an intruder.
I set three mugs on the table with some creamer.
“No sugar?” Billy asks, trying to lighten the mood.
I give him a halfhearted smile, “Not unless you want to hear another lecture from Jake.”
“Fair point,” he says with a small smile.
Paul's hand sneaks into mine under the table, giving me a reassuring squeeze.
“Do you know what happened?” I whisper.
Billy nods. “He came home last night furious and wouldn’t tell me why. This morning he was still upset, and I asked what was wrong. He blew up. Apparently, something happened last night with Bella.
He ran outside and broke the back door off its hinges. I had to go around from the front, but by the time I got back there, he was too far for me to stop him. I heard,” Billy pauses with a sharp intake of breath, “screaming. I saw him run off into the woods, still normal, but I knew it was going to happen.”
Paul looks at the back door and squeezes my hand once more before letting go and standing up.
“I can take a look at the door, try to get it up for now until we can replace it. Got any tools?” He asks.
“Out in the shed,” Billy replies, “Thank you, Paul.”
Paul nods and gives me a reassuring look before heading outside. It doesn’t take him long to locate them and start patching the broken door frame
“I’m sorry Billy, maybe if I had answered...” I look down, committing the wood grain pattern of the table to memory, unable to look at him.
“Sweetheart, it’s not your fault.”
“Maybe, but he’s only 16. They are shifting younger and faster. Embry just shifted last month. When I met Paul, he had already been living with this for over a year. He had accepted it. Jake still has to go through that.”
“He won’t be alone.”
“Yeah, but will he be upset at us for not telling him the truth?”
“He may be, but it’s not like you had a choice, Anna.”
“You’re being very kind to be for someone who arguably left your son to his own devices. I’m so sorry about it all.”
“Jacob is very stubborn. I saw how you tried, and how he was unaccepting of your newfound relationships. I also know you still care for him, and that he’s going to need you now more than ever. It’s me you should be apologizing to you, for the fallout that will inevitably fall on your shoulders between Jake and Bella.”
Bella. Another person was about to get ripped away from her, and she won’t even know it isn't his fault.
“Oh god,” I whisper, leaning back into the chair with a thud.
Billy nods.
“What are we going to tell her?”
“You don’t have to say anything. I’ll think of something, dear.”
I open my mouth to respond but Paul interrupts me as he walks back through the door.
“They found him.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I am steadily wearing down the floorboards in Billy’s living room with how much I am pacing. I feel Paul’s eyes follow me every step of the way.
“This is a bad idea,” he grumbles.
“I don’t care,” I respond. It had been hours since Sam had found Jacob. It took a while to calm him down, and even longer to give him the introductory spiel. They were now on their way here. Billy was out on the porch, eager to see his son.
“He has no control over his shifts Anna. I’m not letting you get hurt.”
“Jacob wouldn’t hurt me.”
“Not on purpose he wouldn’t.”
I stop in my tracks and face him. His shoulders are tense, and his arms are crossed tightly against his chest. His hard eyes stare into mine as his brow furrows for the hundredth time today. I soften my demeanor as I look him over and recognize the worry in his eyes. With a sigh, I take a step toward him, and his arms fall instantly to let me hug him. I lay my head on his chest as he holds me close.
“I have to see him,” I whisper.
“I know, but I don’t have to like it.”
“I love you so much.”
“I love you more.”
“Impossible,” I mumble into his chest. I feel him shake with a laugh before he tilts my head gently up with his hand, laying a sweet kiss on my lips.
“Can we at least go outside? I want to be able to protect you if anything goes wrong, and not destroy Billy’s house in the process,” he whispers, his eyes not wavering from mine.
“You know I can defend myself, right?”
“I do know that, but I can’t help it wanted to do it just as well.”
A surge of longing and protectiveness hits me right in the heart, and I have to hold on to him to not stumble back.
Paul feels his emotions so deeply sometimes that it quite literally sweeps me on my feet despite trying his best not to overwhelm me with them.
I smile up at him.
“Yeah baby, we can go outside.” I move my hands up to the nape of his neck and run my hands through his hair. It’s getting a little long, and I know I’ll be sad when he inevitably cuts it again.
Paul holds my waist as he kisses me again, slightly dipping me backward. It makes me laugh through the kiss.
“There’s that smile,” he whispers into my ear, “I hate seeing you so upset.”
Before I can respond, he’s grabbing my hand and guides me to the back porch with Billy. It’s just in time too, as four shirtless bodies step out of the tree line.
Jacob looks defeated, shoulders slumped and head down. I can tell that he’s had to borrow a pair of shorts from one of them, probably Embry or Jared. They were a bit too tight on him.
When he looks up and sees me, I feel like all the air is sucked out of my lungs. I search his face for any sign of anger or betrayal, but all I see is relief as he starts walking faster toward me.
I step off the porch, and Jacob runs the rest of the way to meet me. He crushes me in a hug, and a tear escapes down my face.
“Anna,” he chokes out, “I… I don’t understand. I’m so sor-“
I shush him, interrupting his sentence.
“I’m so happy your safe,” I say.
Jacob pulls back and suddenly realizes everyone is trying their best not to look at us. His eyes glance toward Paul and then back to me, his eyes widen, and he takes a step back.
“Ah, so they mentioned the imprinting thing huh?”
He nods, “They did, and I know now how much of a dick I was being.”
I shrugged, “How could you have known?” I look back to Billy, “You should probably go talk to your dad, he’s been worried.”
With a nod, Jacob walks up to meet his dad with slight hesitation.
Sam steps beside me, “He’ll be okay, Anna. We got him.”
“I know, I do. It’s just never going to be easy knowing what you all have to go through sometimes.”
“You go through it too kid. I’m sure you’ve dealt with stuff like this your whole life.”
“Yeah, but it somehow makes it easier, ya know? The danger, the supernatural, it’s kinda status quo. For you, everything changed in a matter of moments.”
Sam takes a minute to think about my words.
“They did, for better or for worse. At least these guys won’t be alone,” he says solemnly. Before I can reply, he starts again.
“Oh, and we didn’t tell him anything other than Paul imprinted on you. We figured anything would be something you would want to tell him about.”
“Thanks, Sam.”
He nods before going off to join the pack, now including Jacob, surrounding Billy, talking about what’s next.
I watch them all with a sad smile. I don’t when they all started to feel like my boys, but they do. I love them all, and my heart can’t help but crack at the boys, who now must shoulder the responsibility of keeping so many safe, with no recognition.
Something is gnawing at me though, and I can’t seem to let it go. If the Cullen’s are gone, and the vampire sightings are seemingly just one particular woman, why are the shifts happening at this rate? The thought leaves a knot in my stomach.
Something is going on.
