Death of Jochi.

Zochi (Jochi) was the first son of Genghis khan.

There is no one exact version of his death, a lot of theories surround it. One of them says, that his father, Genghis khan poisoned him, another says that an illness killed Jochi. But the most interesting is the story about hunting. (Actually not one) According this, Jochi hunted on steppe and attacked some wild donkeys and they head donkey defended it's family, tan towards Jochi angryly, bited his arm, throw him away from horse and injured him.

About my picture.

The young man, who is sitting in the middle of the artwork is Batu. He was only eighteen when his father died. It is said, he was favourite Jochi's son. The adult person near him is his elder brother Hordu. In fact, he always supported Batu during all his life. These two brothers couldn't decide who must be new leader of Ulus Jochi because both gave the way to each other.

Also there's younger Jochi's children, there his son (maybe he's Berke) and a daughter. People in the exit and in the dark are their relatives too.

Mongul, Master of the Warworld.

Mongul is heir to a long line of Warworld’s rulers. The original Mongol stole a cutting from the Mother Mercy plant that had been central to the culture of Mongul’s people pre-Warworld. Warped by his experiments, the new Black Mercy variant became a useful tool for Mongul to stage a coup and completely warp society to his own ends.

Eventually--inevitably--Mongul’s authoritarian world order became unsustainable, and he fled into space with his children and a garden of Black Mercy large enough to control anyone they encountered. It would be several generations before another Mongul happened upon his lineage’s other great weapon: the mobile planet-sized battle station of unknown design and origin. Centuries later, when finally analyzed in full, it would be discovered that the Mongul clan had stumbled upon an abandoned Monitor nano-machine, trapped in a universe through unknown means and left at giant-size by a faulty interspatial translation.

Taking control of Warworld from the Warzoon and Largas species that populated it up until that point, Mongul began to grow his prestige by staging gladiatorial games, pressing warriors like Bolphunga the Unrelenting, Draaga, and even the Mongul heir Jochi into deathly combat.

It would be the arrival of Kal-El, the Superman of Earth, that would change Warworld forever. Mercy had always been something of a euphemism on Warworld, a word that always meant death in some form. Superman’s display of real mercy, kindness without weakness, disrupted Mongul’s power and led to him being deposed in short order, Draaga and Jochi starting steps towards a more egalitarian government, though meeting resistance from Jochi’s aunt, Mongal.

Humiliated, he would come to be known as Mongul the Last pursued Superman back to Earth, trapping him in the altered reality of the Black Mercy. Underestimating Kal’s allies, Mongul found himself trapped in the Black Mercy himself, a victim of the very weapon that the first Mongul had used to gain his power.

Collected by the surviving Mother Mercy, Matris Ater Clementia--now a Green Lantern--Mongul spent the remainder of his life in a Merciful Fugue, believing he had conquered all the universe. With Mongal exiled for her crimes and Jochi striving to build a better society than his forebears, Mongul had only one other heir to his power: The White Mercy, a product of Dr. Isley’s experiments with the Black Mercy and Mother Mercy plants, and Mongul’s youngest child.

Susan/Peggy: Every day I'm furious that Susan doesn't get to go to heaven because she discovered lipstick and nylons. FUCK C.S. Lewis for that for real. She lived an adult life with more agency and personhood than she could possibly access in a lifetime England when she returned from Narnia and was told she could never go back to Narnia—so why is she punished for trying to make the most of her life?!

I've seen the take that "busy chasing lipstick and nylons" doesn't mean she's more interested in fashion than in lion jesus, it means she was attracted to women, and yknow, that just makes things worse.

I saw season 1 of Agemt Carter, I read the Peggy/Angie vibes, and I'm a multishipper at heart. Susan crossing paths with Peggy Carter is SO plausable and it's one of the few ways I could see her finding a happy and fulfilling life moving forward! And god does she ever deserve better than she gets in canon.

Rochi: there are literally 19 fics for this ship, all but 3 written by the same person, and the characters have never even been mentioned in the same sentence, let alone met. neither of them have any lines, we don't know what one looks like and we only know he exists because of like 2 fact files you can find scattered around the game. but holy shit if the dynamic ive deluded myself into thinking they have isnt DELECTABLE

Evidence that me calling the Golden Horde emo is historically accurate™.

So. Eastern Europeans had Christian iconography.

And the Mongols knew that this was supposed to be something spiritual and assumed that it could be used in spiritual warfare.

But they didn't really know exactly what it really meant or what it was used for when Russians/Eastern Europeans would make art of these things.

Pieces of fabrics that had Christian iconography found in Mongol burials were originally seized from Christian subjects, and they were repurposed as clothing

So a hat from a Mongol burial site was found with Christian iconography on it, however.

The image itself was flipped upside down

This demonstrates that the Mongols may have recognised these as spiritual symbols and so a Mongol warrior wearing one of their symbols inverted suggests that they may have thought that this neutralised that threat

So... An inverted Christian symbol being worn as a piece of clothing? It's giving...

There were more fabrics found in Mongol burial sites with Christian art that was repurposed as clothing, so this may have been a somewhat common thing for the Mongols to do with they'd seize Christian fabrics.
