The Guardians of the Four Cardinal Directions
"They are the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird [Phoenix] of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise (also called "Black Warrior") of the North. Each of the creatures is most closely associated with a cardinal direction and a color, but also additionally represents other aspects, including a season of the year..."
[Wikipedia]
The artist replaced the white tiger with a white dragon.

I miss Commander Sato so much. Why’d they have to kill him off?

I am being absolutely dead from the year I've had, but I finally managed to finish the second chapter of this! Featuring Hera being a mom and Kallus getting assimilated into the Spectres without him knowing 🖤
Summary: The moment they pick Zeb up from the icy Geonosian moon, Hera notices that something has changed in him, something considering his sworn nemesis Agent Kallus. Something that causes the agent to defect, to betray the Empire, to join the Rebellion. Something that blossoms between them whether they realise it or not.

Whilst watching Rebels I developed an inordinate fondness for Jun Sato specifically because everybody else knew they were in a YA story but he was like "who gave this middle schooler a deadly weapon," which is an extremely relatable mood when watching a YA story.

#7, 10, 11, 13 and 15 for the SWR ask game!!
7. What is one character you feel isn't appreciated enough by the fandom?
Personally, I'd love to see more content around Sato. He has this whole backstory with Thrawn prior to the show, and clearly a long story around his brother/nephew, that I'd love to see explored more in fanworks. Plus the way his serious personality contrasts with the absolute ridiculousness that is the rest of the crew at times... comedy gold.
10. Aside from season 4 episode 10, what episode made you cry the most?
I don't know if this is cheating since it was kind of a part two to Jedi Night, but I'm not kidding when I say I sobbed the entire way through Dume. Like, I finished a box of kleenex.
11. What is one joke/moment from the show that always makes you laugh?
Ezra's awkward little wave that he does in In the Name of the Rebellion, first to the approaching Imperials and then to Hera when she comes to pick him up. Bonus points for how done Sabine is with it.
13. Chopper vs. Palpatine- who's making it out alive?
Okay, so here's how I see it going down. The rational answer is Palpatine. Good old Sheev blasts Chopper with a ton of Force lightning and he gets fried. But then. Then the crew picks him up and repairs him. And once he regains conciousness, he's out for revenge. And then Palpatine doesn't stand a chance.
15. What is your favorite Kanera moment?
There are so many good ones that it's almost impossible to choose, but I have to go with the hug at the end of The Mystery of Chopper Base. The love in every single gesture is unparalleled. Kanan gently wrapping his arms around Hera! Hera leaning against his chest and him resting his head on hers! That moment when Kanan looks up a little, and then both he and Hera hold each other tighter! Pinnacle of romance right there.
Thank you so much for the ask!!!

Day 44: S3E21 “Zero Hour pt. 1”
“You have the heart of a rebel”- Thrawn to Kallus
Gosh, what an episode!! S3 finale is some of the best Rebels has to offer. All hope seems lost as Kallus is captured, heavy losses are taken, and Sato gives his life for the rebellion. (Nobody misses you Konstantine, sorry)
Gotta love this action packed episode :) it really raises the stakes and makes you wonder how the rebels will survive

OKAY i have this question? i guess
the ghost crew (Hera, Kanan, Ezra, Sabine etc) was a rebel cell from Lothal right?
and the Massassi group (with Jan Dodonna, Antoc Merrick, Davits Draven and Wedge etc) settle on Yavin IV was other rebel cell, right?
also Jun Sato's Phoenix cell was OTHER cell?
as well as the Free Ryloth Movement, led by Cham Syndulla, was OTHER cell right?
and all this rebel cells were secretly coordinated by Bail Organa right?? And to put it in a kind of way ‘their Folcrum’ was Ahsoka cuz she was the one to put them all in touch, RIGHT?? did I get it right or did I miss something??
