Hey! Guess what? I got polls!!!
And I had an idea the other day for a short story where a student tries to steal a time machine and gets caught. The catcher assumes they're going back to try and kill Hitler, but the student has a completely different goal.
So yeah. Poll! :D

In Deadpool 3, I want Mobius to arrest Deadpool while he's attempting to kill baby hitler, and Mobius explains "Sorry bud, I know he's a bad guy, but killing hitler always leads to this" And then he shows him a hologram of a nazi super solder with a swatstika shield, saying "Ich kann das den ganzen Tag machen"
(I can do this all day, in german)
Because killing Hitler always allows the Nazis to win. The Nazi movement wasn't created by Hitler, he was just one of the loudest dumbasses.

doctor who should never ever deal with the actual nazis. it has enough obvious nazi parallels (including its most iconic villains!) that it's totally reduntant thematically and also it begs all the obvious questions that dealing with any real-world historical tragedy would in a way that it would be uniquely tasteless to answer with the show's standard sci-fi bullshit about how changing history will explode the world or whatever. and it doesn't help that the two times the show has decided to tackle them anyway have also been flagrantly tacky and in poor taste on top of that

there's no question in my mind that the voice interface is a post-10th doctor addition to the TARDIS bc if 10 had the ability to talk to a hologram of Rose Tyler he would've gone cuckoo bananas

Boo! I am still alive
I am now creating with my hands instead of digitally. I bought a clay kiln and I'm also finishing a springtrap mask! Guys also ordered several figures from me, so I'm working on them too
For a short time there were two of them(。・ω・。)ノ

a plotline that has been on my mind lately is like. the whole why would they go through all the training and brainwashing of river to kill the doctor if they'd just control her through a spacesuit? well, a foe as strong and unmoving as the doctor, not just any assassination attempt would work. "the man of peace who understands every kind of warfare, except, perhaps, the cruellest" because he would never die from a gun or a knife or an explosion, he'd find a way out like he always does. they found a way to kill him in the only way he could be killed: if he let himself be killed. and the only way to do that, to truly create a fixed point would be to create something, someone that would be worth it. and river song would always be worth it to him

"Would you kill a baby Hitler" implies that he was the single person responsible for WW2 and Holocaust and all awfull things Nazi did. But he wasn't. It's impossible to gain power and stay in power without support. And it's impossible to make people do awful things unless they either want to do them or don't care enough or there is a majority of others not caring or enjoying it. And it's kinda hard to invent discriminations; they already existed before him. He wasn't the first person to hate jewish people or gays or rromani.
My guess is, if we only removed Hitler somehow, like only him and nothing and nobody else, someone would take his place in history. Because he was a product of his society in the first place, not the other way around. While dude is responsible for nazi shit, so is everyone who was in power, or followed orders, or simply stayed silent and did nothing.
And yes, it does apply to modern day Russia. Maybe even more so. Russia always was imperialist, all its history. Yes, even yalls beloved USSR
While I was writing this post I heard several explosions lol. I'm fine, but it would be funny if this is my last post

If anyone is confused about Wally having/not having a 'no killing' rule... look no further
Wally doesn't think it's heroic or good to kill so he avoids it. But it's not a steadfast rule. Being on a diet and trying to eat organic is not the same as being vegan. And Wally? Well let's just say that cheat days aren't out of the question.
