On October 4th will be released the new single of AN CAFE “Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster”. This month the band is currently in halloween, with presentations scheduled for Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka, the “AN CAFE LIVE CAFE TOUR'17 ‘Antic Halloween Party ~ Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster ~’”. And the clothes rule for these lives is: “Please, come with something related to red.” Please note that in the last presentation of Tokyo, the members will appear wearing the new costumes for this halloween. So, aren’t you anxious like the boys of AN CAFE, for this month’s Halloween events?

- Do you usually uses too much of your imagination (Yuuki)?
Yuuki: Me? Well ... nothing special. Oh! But if it is for games. For example ... rare game cards ...
Miku: Is not a Middle School student thing?
Yuuki: Well it's the "Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster", I participated in the composition of music, I had fun singing. So people who are listening, would not it be like I was asking them to have fun too?
- Takuya what was your reaction about "Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster"?
Takuya: "Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster" would be a fast way to a beat dance, to put the EDM we needed a simple music beat. But prolonging the beat time could be a good idea? Well, it would be like do a pop beat, but I grabbed the idea right away. The rap part, the simple lyrics of the song ... the melody of "Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster" was prolonged as a pop and had its own charm.
- By the way, Takuya, do you think of things that are not very appropriate?
Takuya: No, lately I have not thought of that sort of thing. That would be more to the imagination of a student. For me there is no limit to what people can imagine.
- Kanon, even now you seem to be a person it’s using your imagination.
Kanon: It seems so (lol). When I was on the train, my sister was in a bad mood, at that moment I was thinking, "She's really making an expressionless face" "If she smiles at me, what kind of smile should I return?"
Miku: Huh? Is this really use the imagination?
- Miku, this is for you, the character that appears in "Ikenai mousou x Abunai monster" is connected to what you feel inside and so made you write the lyrics?
Miku: No, these things are not inside me.
- Have you ever prank anyone in the middle of the night?
Miku: I've never done that. In case, if you make a call to a worried little boy in the middle of the night than just a prank, what kind of voice would you make ?? I would have to have some interest in that.
- Interest like nudity??
Miku: Not that kind. But using just underwear, especially in the summer. This summer I didn't wear pants I just used a steteco * ¹ to sleep at home. It's because it's cooler.
* ¹ steteco, something like shorts with a light fabric that make you feel fresh.
Kanon: I also belong to this “naked family”.
- Now, about the coupling of "Tentekomai" that Kanon was in charge to compose.
Kanon: First it was already a song made, so the band's own sound had to be the main thing, so I put the sound of the synthesizer plus other high quality handsets and in the end it was something like "nostalgic and innovative". I also think that the lyrics of Miku's song got very well into the rhythmic beat. The lyrics of the song would not be a problem for the "Showa Era".
Miku: The Showa Era thinks exactly like that about the Heisei Era, however the Showa Era is already over.
- Do you care about your age?
Miku: By the time I was 30 years old and when I passed of this age, there was a side of me that cared about that, as time went on I didn't get worried anymore.
- Looking to all these songs, currently the songs of the 40's and 50's are active and receiving support from people of different generations.
Miku: Looking at this scene I feel more relieved.
Kanon: Besides, we are the majority, but if over time people don't do this kind of thing, I would not even care too.
Miku: Ohh! In fact the people of closer generations are the biggest part.
- The girl who created the song "Tentekomai" even with the passing of years is living with her dreams and hopes, listening to this song there are many women who are opposing.
Miku: "Tentekomai" (original) would it be how women remember the crisis? I can't say. I imagined and wrote about the generation of these women and their feelings.
- For people who are chasing their dreams, these songs delivery heartfelt happiness.
Miku: Yes, in this song I write the conflict of those feelings of girls who's living honestly following their own hearts.
- In that same generation the people who live exactly as in the song "Tentekomai" are the great majority.
Miku: It seems like yes, a lot of girls older than me want to listen to "Tentekomai" and when they go to karaoke in the late afternoon want to sing things like "live with their own dreams and hopes".
Kanon: This song has become the encouragement of these girls and also, if we present this in live and if they sing along with us, I think we would marvelously become one...
- A lot of girls are fascinated by things that please them, are not they?
Miku: I feel that kind of thing. Formerly in the Showa era, "girls were forced to marry" but marriage is no longer an obligation, many women are working. In the lyrics of "Tentekomai" women are like heroines and I’m also living as described in the music to better understand these feelings, next to them I want to strive. "Tentekomai" is this type of music.
Yuuki: I also sympathized with the lyrics. Most of all, it's a composition that reminds me of feelings. Probably other people singing it in ten decades from now would say, "I don't understand the meaning of this song." Because these are the true feelings of the person who wrote this lyric, passed down to us deeply. Certainly, people who feel this sensation are many. That's what made me sympathize!!

Takuya: "Tentekomai" is a song that has a very fast pace and it seems that in live will be very challenging. The style of song is like "For us to strive extraordinarily let's play it live."

Teruki: I am the oldest of the members of AN CAFE, even now I do not have to worry about my age. But of the songs released "Tentekomai" has the most "annoying" lyrics this worries me a little (lol). I feel this song touches people's hearts.

Chuck's Daily Check In - 06.21.19
The NBA offseason, already firing on all cylinders with trades involving Anthony Davis and Mike Conley respectively, did not disappoint on draft night as the Pelicans, Hawks, Timberwolves and Suns were active. It all played into the hands of the Bulls.
The Bulls did not surrender a roster player, nor a future pick to grab the player they coveted.
Prior to the draft, if someone told me the Bulls would come away with Coby White at seven, I would have said, "Case closed, let's go home."
My initial thoughts as I'm writing CCI at 1:42 AM:
White has a huge upside. You can't coach speed and he is a nightmare to stop in the open court. His play making decisions will improve. He will be coached and will learn the pro pick and roll game. He has the athleticism to be a solid defender. He was the primary ball handler at North Carolina. He has "leadership" written all over him. He is 19. I repeat. He is 19. Patience, please. Head Coach Jim Boylen loves players with "spirit"...White has plenty of that.
After Minnesota and the Suns hooked up swapping first round picks with Dario Saric packaged to the Suns as well, I was convinced White was headed to Minnesota but the T-Wolves elected to go with Jarrett Culver. Love Culver, but White is the player the Bulls needed with the current group of players assembled and I am convinced in time he will prove me correct. The NBA game is changing with transition hoops and running the floor essential creating easy buckets. A message to the Bulls players: Better be in shape when training camp begins because Coach Boylen plans to jump start the offense with Chris Fleming joining the coaching staff from Brooklyn.
Coby White is "The Blur". The Bulls are going to be a fun, exciting team to watch.
Second round pick Daniel Gafford is athletic. I mean atttttthletic! He can finish around the rim (led the SEC in FG% at 66%) and is a presence on defense. Gafford is a roll to the rim talent and loves to run the floor, which only adds to the versatility of the Bulls. He too is a developing young player at 20. He is committed to working on his offensive game and body. He will compete with Cristiano Felicio for back up minutes.
Atlanta is percolating. The Hawks, similar to the Bulls, continue to stock pile young talent. As expected, Atlanta found a willing trade partner with NOLA. The Hawks from day one targeted Virginia's De'Andre Hunter who is a magnificent defender and understands his offensive role. The "X Factor" is Cam Reddish. Incredible skill set. It's a hit or miss. Don't sleep on the Hawks. Superb job by GM Travis Schlenk.
The Pelicans continue to wheel and deal as NOLA guru David Griffin is adding piece after piece after piece. I absolutely loved their selection of Jaxson Hayes at eight...yea, that guy, Zion is pretty good as well.
Memphis with a revamped front office did very well selecting Ja Morant (a no brainer) and Brandon Clarke.
Pistons GM Ed Stefanski in a 24 hour period acquired Tony Snell from MIlwaukee, drafted Sekou Doumbouya and then flipped the last pick in the first round for four -count em' four- second round picks.
The Cavs were solid: Darius Garland and Kevin Porter Jr. who has a big time upside. Can Garland and Collin Sexton play together? We will soon find out.
Indiana picked up TJ Warren from the Suns. On paper, I like the move for the Pacers but can Warren stay healthy?
Nassir Little of North Carolina was projected to be a 10-14 guy and fell to 25th. How badly does he want to be a great player? If he can't bring it nightly for Terry Stotts, that's on the player. Little has a great skill set. I'm shocked he went 25th...now it's time for him to look in the mirror and get after it.
What a night for Canada...a record setting six Canadians selected.
Tons and tons of story lines but this night belonged to the young men and the entire NBA basketball who put in the time, effort and long, long hours of intel work securing talent.
The free agent period is around the corner followed by Summer League.

All this you hear as you finally get the door shut to keep more people out and then to add to the chaos one of your manticores tries to get through as well, the only thing that stops it from bursting throught the door is that the hallway is narrow so all it can do is stand there roaring at the door Fantastic Of course this is not the most worrying thing, what is worrying you is hearing Naji in there screaming in pain like someone (Who was obviously trying to kill her) was assaulting her with a red hot poker banging on the door shouting at her to stop screaming because you thought she was hurt and needed immediate help As it turned out however that's not what was happening at all! Chuck's Daily Check In - 06.21.19
The NBA offseason, already firing on all cylinders with trades involving Anthony Davis and Mike Conley respectively, did not disappoint on draft night as the Pelicans, Hawks, Timberwolves and Suns were active. It all played into the hands of the Bulls.
The Bulls did not surrender a roster player, nor a future pick to grab the player they coveted.
Prior to the draft, if someone told me the Bulls would come away with Coby White at seven, I would have said, "Case closed, let's go home."
My initial thoughts as I'm writing CCI at 1:42 AM:
White has a huge upside. You can't coach speed and he is a nightmare to stop in the open court. His play making decisions will improve. He will be coached and will learn the pro pick and roll game. He has the athleticism to be a solid defender. He was the primary ball handler at North Carolina. He has "leadership" written all over him. He is 19. I repeat. He is 19. Patience, please. Head Coach Jim Boylen loves players with "spirit"...White has plenty of that.
After Minnesota and the Suns hooked up swapping first round picks with Dario Saric packaged to the Suns as well, I was convinced White was headed to Minnesota but the T-Wolves elected to go with Jarrett Culver. Love Culver, but White is the player the Bulls needed with the current group of players assembled and I am convinced in time he will prove me correct. The NBA game is changing with transition hoops and running the floor essential creating easy buckets. A message to the Bulls players: Better be in shape when training camp begins because Coach Boylen plans to jump start the offense with Chris Fleming joining the coaching staff from Brooklyn.
Coby White is "The Blur". The Bulls are going to be a fun, exciting team to watch.
Second round pick Daniel Gafford is athletic. I mean atttttthletic! He can finish around the rim (led the SEC in FG% at 66%) and is a presence on defense. Gafford is a roll to the rim talent and loves to run the floor, which only adds to the versatility of the Bulls. He too is a developing young player at 20. He is committed to working on his offensive game and body. He will compete with Cristiano Felicio for back up minutes.
Atlanta is percolating. The Hawks, similar to the Bulls, continue to stock pile young talent. As expected, Atlanta found a willing trade partner with NOLA. The Hawks from day one targeted Virginia's De'Andre Hunter who is a magnificent defender and understands his offensive role. The "X Factor" is Cam Reddish. Incredible skill set. It's a hit or miss. Don't sleep on the Hawks. Superb job by GM Travis Schlenk.
The Pelicans continue to wheel and deal as NOLA guru David Griffin is adding piece after piece after piece. I absolutely loved their selection of Jaxson Hayes at eight...yea, that guy, Zion is pretty good as well.
Memphis with a revamped front office did very well selecting Ja Morant (a no brainer) and Brandon Clarke.
Pistons GM Ed Stefanski in a 24 hour period acquired Tony Snell from MIlwaukee, drafted Sekou Doumbouya and then flipped the last pick in the first round for four -count em' four- second round picks.
The Cavs were solid: Darius Garland and Kevin Porter Jr. who has a big time upside. Can Garland and Collin Sexton play together? We will soon find out.
Indiana picked up TJ Warren from the Suns. On paper, I like the move for the Pacers but can Warren stay healthy?
Nassir Little of North Carolina was projected to be a 10-14 guy and fell to 25th. How badly does he want to be a great player? If he can't bring it nightly for Terry Stotts, that's on the player. Little has a great skill set. I'm shocked he went 25th...now it's time for him to look in the mirror and get after it.
What a night for Canada...a record setting six Canadians selected.
Tons and tons of story lines but this night belonged to the young men and the entire NBA basketball who put in the time, effort and long, long hours of intel work securing talent.
The free agent period is around the corner followed by Summer League.

Cubs Historical Heroes and Goats, part 22
Despite dropping two of three to the Dodgers to finish the last homestand, the Cubs managed four wins in seven games. That pushed their recent string of success to 14 wins in 22 games. That had them back knocking on the door to first place.
This next challenge would be a big one though. A three-city, nine-game trip. All three stops against teams with winning records. Two of those teams fighting you (and each other) for one playoff spot. It would be a huge ask to win five or more on the nine game trip. But even just a half game out of first place, and with no juggernaut in division, you still had to think four wins was pretty much the floor.
The team absolutely had to keep itself within striking distance of first place. After this trip, the Cubs would have 30 games remaining and 17 of them would be at home. With three teams bunched up this late in the season, the finish figured to be chaotic. Let’s get right to the action.
Game 124, August 19: Cubs 8 at Astros 12 (64-60)
And the trip starts with a thud. Matt Clement was rocked for eight runs in four innings of work. That after be staked to a 3-0 lead after the top of the first. Unfortunately, that poor performance, wasted an 11 hit attack from the Cubs offense that included three home runs. Jeff Kent was the main culprit in this one. He had three hits including a homer and six RBI on the day. in 236 career starts, Matt only had three in which he allowed more runs than he did in this start.
Aramis Ramirez was signed as an international free agent by the Pirates in 1994. He reached the majors in 1998. In parts of seven seasons with the Pirates, Ramirez was a fairly ordinary player (.261/.311/.433). After coming to the Cubs, all of that changed. In nine seasons as a Cub, Ramirez had a line of (.294/.356/.531). He slugged 239 home runs in a Cub uniform and drove in 806 runs. In his 18 year career, he had 2,194 games played, 8,986 plate appearances, 386 homers, and 1,417 RBI. He played in three All-Star games and received MVP votes in five different seasons. He won a Silver Slugger award. Ramirez remains one of the best Cubs third basemen ever.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Aramis Ramirez (.272). Another fine Ramirez game goes to waste. This time he had two hits and a walk. One of those three hits was a three-run homer with two outs in the first.
Hero: Moises Alou (.167). Moises had a homer, a walk, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Sidekick: Ramon Martinez (.065). Martinez had two hits and a walk.
Billy Goat: Matt Clement (-.611). This was the fourth worst WPA score of the year for the Cubs. He allowed eight hits, four walks and eight earned runs in four innings of work. He struck out three.
Goat: Damian Miller (-.132). Miller had just one walk in four plate appearances. He also struck out once.
Kid: Sammy Sosa (-.109). Sammy was hitless in five at bats.
Game 125, August 20: Cubs 6 at Astros 0 (65-60)
Mark Prior continued to dazzle with seven shutout innings. Former Pirate teammates Aramis Ramirez and Randall Simon each homered and combined to drive in five runs to lead the Cubs offense. Randall had come to the Cubs in a trade on August 17. The Pirates got Ray Sadler in return, a Double-A outfielder. Randall was perhaps best known for hitting one of the Brewers’ racing sausages with a bat, leading to a three-game suspension.
This game also featured the Cubs debut of Tony Womack. The 2003 Cubs had Mark Grudzielanek get injured and then backup Ramon Martinez got banged up as well. Ramon had been getting regular playing time at third before the Ramirez trade, then at second after the Grudzielanek injury. But after starting regularly for more than a month, he made just one start between July 19 and August 3. Additionally, the Cubs traded Jose Hernandez, Bobby Hill, and released Lenny Harris.
So, the Cubs traded for Womack. Tony had a 13 year big league career. In that time, he played in 1,303 games and had 5,389 plate appearances. He had a career line of .273/.317/.356. He stole 363 bases and scored 739 runs. He reached the major leagues in 1993 at the age of 23 for the Pirates. He played parts of five seasons with them before going to the Diamondbacks for parts of five more. In 2003, he was traded to the Rockies in July and then just over a month later to the Cubs. This was the first of two later career stints with the Cubs. Between the two seasons, he played in just 40 games, had 109 plate appearances and a line of .257/.292/.337.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Mark Prior (.321). Mark was nothing short of a Superhero in August and September of 2003. He allowed only four hits and one walk in this one. He struck out nine.
Hero: Aramis Ramirez (.207). The home run in this one made four in four games for Ramirez. Finally, one of them helped lead the Cubs to victory. He also drew a walk and scored twice. He drove in two with his fourth inning homer.
Sidekick: Randall Simon (.070). Randall started at first and had two hits, including a three-run homer in the sixth, in four at bats.
Billy Goat: Kenny Lofton (-.128). The other former Pirate was quiet with no hits in four at bats.
Goat: Alex Gonzalez (-.035). Four strikeouts in four at bats. Oof.
Kid: Moises Alou (-.029). Alou had one walk in three plate appearances. He scored a run. He also struck out once.
Game 126, August 21: Cubs 3 at Astros 9 (65-61)
The Cubs lost for the fourth time in five games after winning four straight. This series pushed them back into third place, 1½ games out of first. It was Kerry Wood’s turn to get knocked around in this one. He allowed five runs in just four innings of work and saw his season record fall to just 11-10. The Cubs managed just seven hits and three walks in this one.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Eric Karros (.090). Eric had a hit and a walk in four plate appearances. He scored once.
Hero: Aramis Ramirez (.039). He drew one walk in four plate appearances. That walk was a second inning walk and it put Cubs at first and second with no outs. They didn’t end up scoring.
Sidekick: Moises Alou (.039). He had two hits in four at bats. Included was a two-run double in the ninth inning that cut the deficit to 9-3.
Billy Goat: Kerry Wood (-.229). Wood allowed six hits, two walks, a homer and five runs. He struck out five in four innings of work.
Goat: Doug Glanville (-.100). He was hitless in three at bats. He did get an RBI on an unusual play. He had a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded and one out in the fifth. The Astros turned a double play on the play, but the run scored first.
Kid: Damian Miller (-.096). He had one walk in three plate appearances. He grounded into a bases loaded double play in that second inning.
Game 127, August 22: Cubs 4 at Diamondbacks 1 (66-61)
The Cubs traveled to Arizona and got a bounce back result in a place where they’ve struggled historically. Not surprisingly, a strong pitching performance was behind the result. Carlos Zambrano went the distance for the second time in 11 days. Indeed, August of 2003 was one of the best months of Carlos’ career. He made five starts and logged a 3-1 record for 38 innings of work. He allowed only 28 hits, 13 walks and six runs (five earned). He struck out 33 while walking 13. He posted a 1.18 ERA (2.74 FIP).
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Carlos Zambrano (.444). Carlos allowed three hits, two walks and one run. He struck out four.
Hero: Sammy Sosa (.223). The Cubs scored all three of their runs on three homers in this game. Two of them were by Sammy who had an all or nothing game off of DBacks starter Curt Schilling. He had two homers and two strikeouts in four at bats.
Sidekick: Aramis Ramirez (.022). Ramirez stayed hot with another homer. He also struck out twice.
Billy Goat: Tony Womack (-.064). Tony was hitless in four at bats. He had two strikeouts.
Goat: Randall Simon (-.040). Simon was also hitless in four at bats. He struck out once.
Kid: Ramon Martinez (-.030). Martinez was the third Cub who was hitless in three at bats. He struck out once.
Game 128, August 23: Cubs 2 at Diamondbacks 13 (66-62)
Shawn Estes allowed seven runs (six earned) in 4⅓ innings of work. Antonio Alfonseca followed and allowed six runs in just 1⅔ innings of work. The Cubs offense put up very little fight against former Cub Miguel Batista. The Diamondbacks lead this one 10-0 before the Cubs scored their two runs.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Tony Womack (.007). He lands the top spot after the hitting of starter Estes was dropped. Estes walked and sacrificed in his two plate appearances. Tony had one hit in three at bats to “lead” the Cubs offense.
Hero: Tom Goodwin (.004). Tom had one hit in two at bats.
Sidekick: Paul Bako (.003). Bako lands here for one walk in three plate appearances.
Billy Goat: Shawn Estes (-.193). Nine hits, two walks, seven runs, six earned. He did strikeout three.
Goat: Kenny Lofton (-.082). This one seems wrong for the second spot. He was hitless in three at bats.
Kid: Randall Simon (-.063). Randall actually had a hit and drew a walk in four plate appearances. He scored one of the Cubs two runs. Things got so lopsided in this one that Alfonseca avoids the podiums despite allowing more runs (six) than outs recorded (five).
Game 129, August 24: Cubs 5 at Diamondbacks 3 (67-62)
Matt Clement gave the Cubs a strong outing and opposing starter Brandon Webb lasted only three innings as the Cubs took two out of three. The offense was lead by Randall Simon. Randall came to the Cubs in a trade for a minor leaguer on August 17.
Randall made his major league debut for the Braves in 1997 and then played two seasons with the Tigers. He signed with the Pirates before the 2003 deal and then in yet another cost-cutting maneuver, they traded him to the Cubs. As a Cub, Randall got 110 plate appearances and had a line of .282/.318/.485 (wRC+ 104). For his career, he played in 537 games, had 1,717 plate appearances and a line of .283/.320/.422 (wRC+ 91). The power spike for the Cubs was never really duplicated in his career. Simon last played in the major leagues in 2006, but played in indy ball as late as 2010.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Randall Simon (.339). Randall had three hits in five at bats. He drove in two and scored one.
Hero: Matt Clement (.290). Matt threw seven innings and allowed five hits, three walks and two runs. He had nine strikeouts.
Sidekick: Aramis Ramirez (.078). Ramirez had three hits and a walk in five plate appearances.
Billy Goat: Sammy Sosa (-.123). Sammy was hitless in five at bats with one strikeout.
Goat: Damian Miller (-.070). Damian had one hit in five at bats. He drove in a run and scored another. He had two strikeouts.

Game 130, August 26: Cubs 7 at Cardinals 4 (68-62)
Following an off day, the road trip continued in St. Louis. The Cubs rode a six run third inning rally and seven strong innings from Mark Prior to a second straight win. The win improved Mark’s record to 13-5 on the year. This made three superhero and one hero appearances for Prior in four starts after coming off of the disabled list. As was slowly become a regular thing, the Cubs offense was lead by ex-Pirates. Randall Simon and Aramis Ramirez each homered and Kenny Lofton had two hits, a run and an RBI on the day.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Kenny Lofton (.174). Kenny had a one-out RBI double in the third and the flood gated opened afterwards.
Hero/Sidekick: Mark Prior/Randall Simon (.161). Mark threw eight innings and allowed just one run, that coming on a solo homer (by Albert Pujols) after it was already 7-0 Cubs. He allowed only three hits, one walk and struck out six. Simon had a two-out three-run homer in the third. That blast was followed by a back-to-back jack from Aramis Ramirez.
Billy Goat: Moises Alou (-.064). One of the Cubs who didn’t get in on the act, Alou was hitless in four at bats.
Goat: Kyle Farnsworth (-.017). Kyle faced four batters. He struck out the first, walked Pujols and then Jim Edmonds followed with a homer. Scott Rolen then reached on an error and that was it for Kyle. He was charged with three runs, two earned.
Kid: Alex Gonzalez (-.013). Alex had a hit and a strike out in four at bats.
Game 131, August 27: Cubs 2 at Cardinals 4 (68-63)
Kerry Wood was dominant in this one, throwing seven shutout innings. Unfortunately, three different Cubs relievers combined to allow four runs as the victory slipped away. The Cardinals scored all four of their runs in the eighth inning. An inning in which the Cubs used five different relievers.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Kerry Wood (.473). This one slips in as the 10th biggest WPA game of the year for the Cubs. Kerry threw seven innings and allowed four hits, four walks and struck out 11.
Hero: Sammy Sosa (.175). Sammy had two hits and drove in both Cubs runs, one wiht a single in the sixth and one with a double in the eighth. Both came with one out.
Sidekick: Kenny Lofton (.115). Kenny had two hits, including a double, as well and scored once.
Billy Goat: Kyle Farnsworth (-.511). A day after being on the hill while three runs scored, Kyle was used again. He came in with runners on first and third and no outs with the Cubs still leading 2-0. He walked Rolen. Allowed a single that plated two and then threw a wild pitch. He then issued a walk before Mike Matheny sacrificed the runners to second and third. That was it for Farnsworth.
Goat: Mark Guthrie (-.171). Mark faced one batter (Edmonds) and allowed a single.
Kid: Aramis Ramirez (-.131). Ramirez was hitless in four at bats and struck out twice.
Game 132, August 28: Cubs 2 at Cardinals 3 (68-64)
The Cubs scored single runs in the first and third innings. Unfortunately, they never scored again. They allowed single runs in the sixth and seventh innings and then the Cardinals walked it off in the ninth. This wasted another strong start from Carlos Zambrano and a solo homer by Sammy Sosa.
Three Heroes/Three Goats:
Superhero: Carlos Zambrano (.094). Carlos allowed eight hits, three walks and two runs (one earned). He allowed a homer and struck out six. He also had a single in two at bats that contributed to the second run.
Hero: Kenny Lofton (.080). Lofton had a double in four at bats.
Sidekick: Doug Glanville (.049). Doug reached on an error in the eighth in a tie game.
Billy Goat: Ramon Martinez (-.294). Ramon has an odd looking line in the box score. He was hitless in three at bats and drove in a run. He lands here because he flew into a double play with runners on second and third and one out in the eighth. He had a sac fly in the third.
Goat: Mike Remlinger (-.258). Mike allowed a walk off homer to the first batter he faced in the ninth inning. His WPA wasn’t worse because he pitched a perfect eighth.
Kid: Alex Gonzalez (-.120). He was hitless in three at bats.
The Cubs drop the final two games of the road trip, the last one in heart-breaking fashion. The fly ball double play in the eighth inning would have been the go ahead run. Kenny Lofton had doubled one batter earlier with a still fast Doug Glanville on first. Unfortunately, the double was a ground rule double and so Doug wasn’t able to score. Remlinger allowed this homer to Kerry Robinson. This was the only homer Robinson hit that season. In fact, it was one of only three he hit in 795 major league plate appearances. And of course, he hit left handed. So this was quite an odd blast allowed by Remlinger.
That made two straight games where the Cubs allowed leads to get away late in the game. The Cubs were locked in a tight race for the National League Central crown. The two blown games were two of the three games in which the bullpen was handed late, close games. The wins on the trip saw the Cubs win 7-4 after taking a 7-1 lead into the ninth, two complete games and a 5-3 win that they successfully closed out.
So the Cubs took four of nine overall. What I would have dubbed the minimum tolerable record if the team was going to have any chance of winning. Sometimes slowing the bleeding is the best the doctor can do. Here, the Cubs started the trip in second place half a game out. They returned home in third place one and a half behind. Five times on the trip they were half a game out and they kept yo-yo-ing between second and third in the division.
Now, they’d come home for an eight-game homestand. But it was a very odd homestand. They would have three games with the Brewers, a team that was well off of the pace in the NL Central. That would be followed by five games in four days with the Cardinals. The September 2 doubleheader was a make up game from the Mother’s Day washout against the Cardinals.
The target? The Cubs would surely need to win at least five games and push for six if they were going to stay in the hunt. There were only 30 games left in the season and time was starting to get short. The advantage for those 30 games was 17 games at home. But this homestand would represent eight of them. So this is the time. Three games against an also ran and five games against one of the two teams they were chasing.
Next time, we’ll see if they can take care of business. On one of these groups of games, they were going to need to exceed the minimum. Would this one be the one? Five games against the Cardinals was a tall order. Tune in next time to find out how they did.

Insanely Fun Nighttime Camping Activities That Will Excite You
Sitting around a campfire, drinking beers and telling stories is insanely fun but also participating in nighttime camping activities can fill the night with laughter and amazing memories.
So get your head torches and torches ready as you are in for a great amount of fun.
The darkness has a tendency of bringing out the mischievous side of people.
We tend to like to do things we usually wouldn’t do during the day and that is because the darkness is like a blanket that hides our silliness.
This is great because of this you’re more likely to have everlasting memories filled with laughter and adventures.
Just remember it is going to be dark so be a little bit more cautious as you might not see things that you would usually see during the day.
Okay but now we got the safety site out of it let’s get into the list and get excited about fun nighttime camping activities.
#Making shadow puppets
This one is really great if you do not feel like getting up from the fire but still want to use your imagination and have some fun.
Get a strong torch or use the fire and project your shadow puppets onto a tent or onto a tarp if you have one.
You can have the rest of the group try and guess what your shadow puppet is or join in.
To create the shadow puppets you can use your hands what nature has to offer that it sticks leaves and other things, you can be as creative as you want this.
#Nighttime Hike
Going hiking at nighttime is great as you will experience the outdoors in a different way than you would if you went hiking during the day.
You will see different animals, hear different sounds and everything around you will look completely different. In fact, if you go over the same path during the day you might find that you will not recognise it.
Before you do decide to go for a nighttime hike make sure that you research the wildlife beforehand so as to not run into a dangerous situation.
Also, make sure that you have a spare change of batteries for your torches and don’t stray away too far from the campsite so that you don’t get lost.
If you do go on a long hike make sure to follow one path and if there is a fork in the path at any point make sure to mark the direction you came from so that it is easier for you to get back to camp.
I would say take a map and compass as a last resort, but something you will find is that navigating at nighttime is extremely difficult as you will have trouble finding points of reference in terrain.
But worst case scenario if you do get lost don’t panic, stay warm and wait for the daylight and navigate your way back to the campsite.

#Star Gazing
One thing I absolutely love about camping at nighttime is a clear night sky and gazing at the stars.
The sky is unpolluted from any light sources and can really put on a spectacular show for you.
Obviously knowing constellations would make it exciting as you could search for them with your friends and families.
Luckily for you these days there are incredible apps for your phones which will show you exactly where all the constellation are.

#Midnight Swim
With this one, you will require a bit more caution as at nighttime you do not see most of the dangers that lurk within the water.
If it’s a lake or stream make sure that you waddle through with it first so that you make sure that there are no rocks branches of things that could get you injured if you accidentally swam into them.
Places you should not swim in are fast flowing rivers and places which are marked as dangerous spots.
Either way, swimming at nighttime with a beverage and a few friends after a hot day in the sun is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences you can have.
If you have a ball you can throw the ball at one another, you can get some floating apparatuses and float around, you can play tips and so much more.

#Play Flashlight tag
This is a great game which doesn’t require much running around as it is played like hide and seek.
One person counts to a predetermined numbe r while everyone goes and hides in the forest.
Once the person counts to the number they start searching and whoever gets lit up with a flashlight they then become the person that is in.
#Draw with light
Using a set of torches and a long exposure camera you can create some incredible shots that will impress everyone.
It’s a great activity for multiple people as well as it requires everyone to communicate well and choreograph everything so that the images come out great
If you have colourful lights the pictures will come out even more amazing.

#Tell Ghost Stories
You probably remember from movies or from your own experience how people used to sit around a fire and talk about scary, terrifying ghost stories.

#Play glow in the dark bowling
Get yourself six or more 2 L bottles of water and place a glow stick inside of the bottles.
Next line them up in a triangular shape and use a ball to knock them down.
Just make sure that you do not have any drop-offs or places where you can lose the ball.
#Play Truth or Dare
A game that most likely everyone has played at least once in their lives is the good old truth or dare.
It is an excellent game to play with your friends after a few drinks as some of the stories that will come out or dares that may happen will be extremely hilarious.
One recommendation for a dare you shouldn’t do is to have someone jump over the fire.
It usually ends up with someone getting hurt
#Sing Campfire songs
Get out a guitar, tune your vocal cords and sing with a bunch of friends to some new pop songs old school rock or a selection of campfire songs.
It’s an extremely bonding experience when you have everyone tuning in and is contributing.
Best of all if the beat gets your feet you can also dance around the fire.

#Marshmallows
A camp is not complete until you have marshmallows which are roasted on a fire.
It’s amazing how these white or pink or yellow fluffy little objects can have so many different ways of being cooked.
Some prefer it completely charcoal black with the inside being melted and others love their marshmallows so much that they allow them to be cooked for 4-5minutes to get a golden brown colour but with the insides being warm, fluffy and runny.

#Practise Night Time Photography
If you have a camera with you and enjoy taking a few snaps here and there make sure to set your exposure to long, get the tripod out and practice taking some beautiful nighttime photography.

Then, you go around the circle saying something you’ve never done before.
If someone has done it before, they put a finger down. Keep going until someone doesn’t have any fingers left.

#Build a shelter in the dark
Have you ever built a shelter while out camping? Try to do it in the dark.
This will enhance your survival skills as it is harder to do everything when night sets in. Best of all you can get everyone on board and make a really cool hut in which you can spend time in
Additionally, to that, you could sharpen your survival skills like rope tying and other cool survival exercises
#Play Camouflage
You can also play a game of camouflage which requires one person to stand stationary and countdown from 30. In that time have everyone else has to hide.
Once the person completed the countdown he opens his eyes, looks around while remaining in the same spot and lights up people with the torch.
The people who get lit up are out and have to wait to the end of the game.
If there are remaining people that still haven’t been found then the stationary person closes their eyes and yells out “food and water” and proceeds to count down from 25.
In the time everyone has to run that is still hiding and tap the person on the hand and find a new hiding spot.
Again the person opens their eyes after 25 seconds and looks around and tries finding people.
If there are more people remaining the stationary person counts down from 20 then again 15, 10 and 5 until everyone gets caught. The last person remaining wins and becomes the person that is stationary looking for everyone.

Bitcoin's White Paper Gave Us Liberty – Let's Not Give It Back

Ten years after Satoshi published the white paper that gave us bitcoin – and the explosion of innovation it launched – I continue to be astounded at its transformative power.
Money is such a fundamental part of life, and it has played such a huge role in mine, for good and bad. Bitcoin is the awakened sleeping giant of it all because it has fundamentally and forever changed money and, more importantly, money’s seat of power.
For me, this is the most important aspect of bitcoin and cryptocurrency: its role in propagating power to the greatest number of people possible. What Satoshi did when he democratized money was hand every individual alive – and generations to come – vast personal liberty.
This shift in power from the few to the many equals events in history like the advent of democracy itself, the invention of the printing press and the Renaissance. But it’s important to remember that nothing is free. What we gained in liberty with bitcoin, we lost in the security of knowing someone else was responsible for protecting our money.
But which would you rather have? Would you rather be able to spend your money exactly how you see fit and know that it is safe from the whims of political leaders with no skin in the game? Or would you rather have the comfort of knowing that if you fail to be vigilant, someone will make you financially whole again?
This is why I’m an ardent student of history. It’s a shortcut to understanding human nature, and it tells me I’d rather take my chances being the one making decisions about my life.
A Real Use Case
These days you don’t even need to study the past. The 24-hour news cycle gives us a window on economic disaster as it unfolds. We’re seeing in real time every stage of financial collapse on a national scale.
Look to Venezuela to see a society in the last throes of a financial meltdown, its people starving while its leaders continue to thrive, inflation hitting numbers that seem made up.
The International Monetary Fund expects that Venezuela’s year-end annual inflation rate will approach 13,000 percent. That’s astonishing when you consider that 4 or 5 percent makes news in other parts of the world. We’ve all heard about post World War I Germany and people using bags of money to buy bread. Here we are, a century later, and people are still subject to the capriciousness of the powerful.
Bitcoin could have changed things for the Venezuelans if they’d had an inkling of what was to come – and they should have – and thought to buy bitcoin or some other currency not tied to the bolivar.
Look to Turkey to see the early stages of a financial meltdown. The country is battling rising government debt, double-digit inflation and a currency whose value has plummeted. Turkish citizens are frantically unloading their lira to hang onto whatever value they can.
Many are turning to foreign currencies and many to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
According to a survey of 15,000 people by Statistica, roughly one in five Turks owns cryptocurrency, the greatest rate of adoption of any of the countries surveyed. Bitcoin is already changing things for the Turks.
To see a society in the earliest stages of this kind of collapse, look to the U.S. Few here realize where we are headed with our inflationary monetary policy and runaway spending. But those few are already hedging against what many experts say will be a new and massive financial crisis for this country.
For the few paying attention, bitcoin is changing things in the U.S. before they even get started.
Fiat’s Star is Setting
We all know from trading cards and small toys in the schoolyard that money is part of being human. If it doesn’t already exist for us, we create it. I saw that in prison.
Despite rules and razor wire, prisoners were able to create a currency of mackerel packets and a black market economy that was stunningly diverse in what it offered for sale – everything from personal services like weight training and letter writing to specialty catering built on the limited, shelf-stable foods available.
So in a sense, bitcoin is nothing new to money. People are always innovating, and bitcoin is the logical next step. It is the response of people long imprisoned by a system that puts them at a significant disadvantage compared to the powerful. It’s a system that has allowed those who rule money to steal from the people who use and save it for themselves and their families.
Again, you don’t need a history book to see what happens when governments are sloppy and even malicious with monetary policy, when leaders neglect their duty to protect not only a country’s currency but also its value. All we need to know from history is that this has happened many more times than once and that it will happen again – is happening now.
Our dependence on others to take care of us at the expense of personal liberty and responsibility has grown insidiously to the point when people are at the mercy of individuals and organizations who have never had their best interests at heart.
Bitcoin comes with great rewards and risk, but your national currency is fiat with everything that entails and has its own even graver risks, I believe. To me, it is handing someone else the keys to the future and crossing your fingers.
Any history book will tell you how well that’s worked out.

Guy Smarts: Should you be moisturizing your balls?
During the winter especially, it's not uncommon to shake the hand of a dude you just met and think to yourself, Wow, this guy reminds me a lot of the pet iguana I had growing up.
Let's face the cold, hard truth: when it comes to moisturizing, men generally just aren't as attentive as women.

But when it comes to proper moisturizing protocol, should you put lotion on your nether regions?
The short answer is: it depends. If you're not experiencing any dryness, itching, or flaking of the skin, then you likely don't need to apply a moisturizer. In fact, the genital region is typically fairly moist, so in some cases, over-moisturizing could lead to a fungal infection like jock itch.
But if you do notice that the area around your scrotum is dry, red, and cracked (and if you consult with your dermatologist beforehand), it could be worth developing a down-there skincare regimen, particularly because the skin around your genitals is more susceptible to irritation and chafing from things like sports and sexual activity.
To answer all your burning questions about down-there skin care, we talked to Dr. Joshua Zeichner, the Director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research at Mount Sinai Hospital's Department of Dermatology, about how to keep the family jewels in tip-top condition.
Is My Penis Normal?:
Let's start off with some Skincare 101: the outer skin layer serves the important role of protecting your body from the outside world. When this barrier is disrupted, the skin may lose hydration, which could lead to dryness, flaking, and itching. Genetics might play a role in having dry skin, but other external factors include weather changes, over-washing or scrubbing, allergies, and irritation.
Just like any other body part, the skin on your balls can become dry and irritated, particularly if you're prone to dry skin to begin with. Unfortunately, Zeichner says, most men do not typically adopt a strict moisturizing regimen (for their balls or otherwise). There is a false perception among my patients that men do not need the same skin care as women do, Zeichner told Men's Health. However, men's skin is just as sensitive and just as at risk for skin problems as women's skin is."
When it comes to your balls specifically, Zeichner says that the skin in your genital area may be more susceptible to irritation. For instance, if you regularly engage in intense physical activity, such as running or lifting weights, that can lead to chafing and rubbing of the skin, which can cause inflammation, dryness, and irritation. As for sexual activity, if you have extremely sensitive skin, bumping uglies can actually cause low levels of inflammation to the skin, while exposure to bodily fluids may compound these reactions.
Plus, if you're manscaping down there, razor burn from disruption of the skin barrier is fairly common, so post-shaving moisturizing can help to keep the skin healthy, says Zeichner.
If you want to start moisturizing your balls, try to choose a soap that isn't harsh and irritating, such as a gentle cleansing bar that won't irritate the skin and offers moisturization while still removing dirt and oil. The Dove Beauty Bar ($19.97 for 20 bars, buy it here) is a good pick.
When it comes to choosing a moisturizer, Zeichner recommends light lotions, "rather than heavier creams or ointments that can leave your skin moist and more susceptible to
bacterial or fungal overgrowth," he says. The newest generation of moisturizers are light, easy to apply, and fully absorbent instead of sitting on top of your skin.
While there are lotions available specifically for your balls, Zeichner instead recommends something simple like Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Unscented lotion ($17.37 for 3 20-ounce bottles, buy it here). If you already have raw, chapped skin, try a product like Cerave Healing Ointment ($13.20, buy it here), which can form a protective seal over the skin. Be sure to wipe off any excess cream before you put on underwear (no one enjoys walking around with overly moist balls all day).
If you do want to start moisturizing your balls, be sure to wash off any skincare products from the genital area before doing the dirty, so they don't cause irritation to your partner's orifices. After all, what's the point of having a perfectly moisturized package if it ends up causing problems for someone else?
Wear breathable cotton underwear, and avoid from products with fragrance. While you may be tempted to try to improve the scent of your niblets, fragranced lotions can cause skin allergies and irritation.
Above all else, know that there ain't no shame in developing a down-there skincare game. Whether it's below the belt or not, skincare is important for men and women alike, and if you get the OK from your derm, occasionally moisturizing your balls is a small price to pay for a silky-smooth package.
"With proper education, we can get men to be as diligent as women about skincare," says Zeichner.

Boku no Hero Academia TCG - Review of Booster Set 1
Another review! And this time we’ll be covering the first booster set of the Boku no Hero Academia TCG. This set has quite a few cards to offer, and came out at the same time as the first two starter decks of the game. This set contains a total of 65 cards, and I dunno about you guys, but having 65 images in one post seems a little overkill to me. What I’ll be doing instead is link you to the official card gallery, where you can see all the cards yourself. On to the review!
HA-01-001 Midoriya Izuku (U)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
BATTLE PHASE: [6 Doryoku] All characters in your battle area get +5 Power and +1 Critical.
Judgement: Overkill! This ability is really expensive, but it has a few good things going for it. First is the Battle Phase tag, meaning it can be used offensively and defensively. Second, it affects the other character as well, giving you a massive boost in damage potential for the turn. I wouldn’t bet on being able to use this effect continuously, but it has the potential to be a dangerous finisher. The high cost does lower my rating though. 4/5
HA-01-002 Midoriya Izuku (S)
[Student – Male – Gym Clothes]
ATTACK: [Place the top card of your deck in your damage area] This character gets +6 Power and +1 Critical.
Judgement: Before the release of the awakening mechanic in Set 3, I would’ve given this card a really bad score. But now that there’s an incentive for reaching a damage threshold of 4, you can use this Deku to accelerate yourself to that point and then dominate with strong awakened characters. 3/5
HA-01-005 Uraraka Ochako (U)
[Student – Female – Hero Suit]
TAG ATTACK: [2 Doryoku] When you tag attack with a “student”, place one of your opponent’s battle area characters on top of their deck and this character gets +1 Critical.
Judgement: This is a really powerful effect, guaranteeing you to send the chosen character to the trash, as long as your attack goes through. The tag attack requirement means you’ll have an absolute minimum of 7 Power, but don’t bother using her with any character that has less than 5 base. With her own base of 4 she’s quite frail though. 3/5
HA-01-006 Uraraka Ochako (S)
[Student – Female – Gym Clothes]
ATTACK: Return 1 opponent’s battle area character with 6 or less Power to the hand.
Judgement: This effect isn’t too bad, and it costing absolutely nothing makes it better. Like many other cards, though, the stats make this card a less than optimal choice, and sending cards back to the hand doesn’t actually get rid of them. 2/5
HA-01-009 Bakugou Katsuki (U)

Judgement: A very simple enhancement effect that can be used during either player’s turn. In exchange for being able to directly trash an opponent, this Bakugou just becomes stronger and deadlier. I personally prefer the direct removal from the start deck, but this one’s not too bad, either. 3/5

STANDBY PHASE: [3 Doryoku] Trash an opponent’s battle area character.
Judgement: In case you wanted to play some removal, but didn’t want to build a deck around Bakugou, this version of him can be put into other decks as well. He works surprisingly well with the Doryoku-intense decks, like the Deku ones, which is kinda funny. That said though, he isn’t too great due to his lower Power. 3/5
HA-01-013 Iida Tenya (U)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
ATTACK: [Trash the top 5 cards of your deck] If there was an extra card among those cards, this character gets +3 Power and readies after this battle.
Judgement: This bad boy’s ability is very powerful, but I can’t help but feel that the cost might be a little too high. If it was 3 cards I’d give him +2 points, but unfortunately, in his current state, he’s just too expensive. 2/5

EFFECT: If this character is the only “student” character in your battle area, draw 1 card.
Judgement: Drawing cards is always nice, but with those stats this card isn’t really worth the slot in your deck. 1/5
HA-01-015 Iida Tenya (R)

EFFECT: [2 Doryoku] Trash an opponent’s battle area character with 5 or less Power.
Judgement: A slightly cheaper and less powerful version of the Bakugou removal effect, but with pretty bad stats to back him up, especially considering the effect is one time use only. Still, it’s removal, and removal is good. 2/5
HA-01-017 Todoroki Shouto (S)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
BATTLE PHASE: [5 Doryoku] Return all opponent’s battle area characters to the hand.
Judgement: OH BOY! This is a very powerful card. Not only does he have a base Power of 6, but his ability is able to swing the game back in your favor! Whether you use him offensively or defensively, he’s sure to turn the tides of battle. The cost is fairly high, but that’s to be expected for such a heavy impact. 5/5
HA-01-018 Todoroki Shouto (N)
[Student – Male – Uniform]
SINGLE ATTACK: This character gets +3 Power.
Judgement: I don’t have much to say about this card, positive or negative. He’s a decent, efficient attacker. 3/5
HA-01-020 Asui Tsuyu (S)
[Student – Female – Hero Suit]
TAG ATTACK: When you tag attack with a “student”, return one “student” character from your trash to your hand.
Judgement: With 5 Power, she’s an excellent tag attack partner, and that ability helps you get back the pieces you need to use on the next turn, or to defend with. It’s a great card. 4/5

HA-01-023 Aoyama Yuuga (S)

BATTLE PHASE: [Trash 1 “Aoyama Yuuga” from your hand] Draw 1 card, this character gets +3 Power.
Judgement: Similar to Bakugou who wants to discard himself, but instead of raw strength or destruction, pretty sparkly boy lets you refill your hand, which is nice. Think of him as trading an unwanted Aoyama for something that’s probably gonna be better anyway. The only thing holding him back is other Aoyamas being mediocre at best. 3/5

HA-01-026 Kirishima Eijirou (S)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
STANDBY PHASE: [3 Doryoku] Draw 2 cards, then trash 1 card from your hand.
Judgement: Kirishima bias aside, this card is neither good nor bad. Drawing is really nice, having to discard a card is fair, but the cost might be just a bit too high for my tastes. Still alright, though, so he gets a pass. 3/5

HA-01-029 Mineta Minoru (S)

Judgement: If the other Minetas were better, this card’s rating would’ve had the chance to be perfect. But most of them, just as with Aoyama, are mediocre. 3/5

BATTLE PHASE: When a “female” character supports this character, this character gets +4 Power.
Judgement: Mineta harem deck, here we come! Please don’t take that suggestion seriously. While he can reach pretty high numbers with the support of one of the girls, do you really want to do that when other characters can reach the same numbers while having useful abilities? And in the case of you not having any females to support him with, he’s incredibly weak. 2/5
HA-01-032 Kaminari Denki (S)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
EFFECT: [Trash 1 other character in your battle area and 1 card in your hand] Trash 1 opponent’s battle area character.
Judgement: Bad card, way too expensive, and a big waste of cool artwork. 1/5
HA-01-033 Kaminari Denki (R)

TAG ATTACK: This character gets +2 Power and +1 Critical.
Judgement: Aside from the fact that I want the artworks of this card and the previous one to switch, I have 0 complaints here. He’s one of the best tag attack partners available. 5/5
HA-01-035 Shouji Mezou (R)

YOUR TURN | OPPONENT’S TURN: This character is unaffected by your opponent’s cards’ abilities.
Judgement: Immuno to removal and having his Power reduced, this guy is a solid addition to many decks that have the space available to them. The lack of anything that directly influence with the state of the game takes away a point, though. 4/5
HA-01-037 Tokoyami Fumikage (R)
[Student – Male – Hero Suit]
EFFECT: If there are 1 or fewer characters in your opponent’s battle area, draw 1 card.
Judgement: Unfortunately he relies on others to fulfill the conditions of his ability, which limits the kinds of decks you can put him in. 2/5
HA-01-039 Yaoyorozu Momo (R)
[Student – Female – Hero Suit]
STANDBY PHASE: [3 Doryoku] Return 1 “student” character from your trash to your hand.
Judgement: While I do like Momo quite a bit, the cost and Standby Phase tag of her ability make her an, in my opinion, objectively worse Tsuyu. But since the ability is still useful, Momo gets a pass. 3/5
HA-01-040 Yaoyorozu Momo (N)

SUPPORT: If there is a “student” character in your battle area, add the top 3 cards of your deck to your Doryoku gauge.
Judgement: A really nice addition to decks that rely on having a steady flow of Doryoku available, but practically worthless in anything else. 2/5

TAG ATTACK: When this character tag attacks with a “student”, look at the top card of your opponent’s deck. Return it to the top of your opponent’s deck or trash it.
Judgement: This is a deceptively good card. It’s your choice where that card ends up – if it’s a character, put it back on top of the deck, and if it’s an extra, into the trash it goes! Such a versatile effect deserves a good score. 4/5

Judgement: What a devastating blow! Attacking with the big man himself is sure to leave a sour aftertaste in your opponent’s mouth. 4/5

ATTACK: [2 Doryoku] This card gets +1 Critical.
Judgement: While not as devastating as the previous version, this is still a strong card. 3/5
HA-01-054 All Might (N)

EFFECT: Add the top card of your deck to your Doryoku gauge.
Judgement: Perfectly viable in a Doryoku-heavy deck, but near useless in others. 2/5
HA-01-055 Aizawa Shouta (S)
[Hero – Male – Hero Suit]
ATTACK: Place 1 opponent’s battle character with 5 or less Power in their Doryoku gauge.
Judgement: Now this right here is the most powerful form of removal available in this game. If your opponent’s cards don’t utilize the Doryoku gauge to pay for their abilities, you basically banished a character into the abyss, and even if they do use it, they’ll have to go the extra mile to get that card back. The Power limitation does take away a point, though. 4/5
HA-01-056 Aizawa Shouta (N)
[Hero – Male – Hero Suit]
EFFECT: Look at the top 3 cards of your deck and return them to the top in any order.
Judgement: This card offers a great deal of flexibility, either to prepare for a damage check during the opponent’s turn, or to let you draw whatever you need most. 4/5

EFFECT: Draw 2 cards, then trash 1 card from your hand.
Judgement: It’s just a nice draw effect, and we like those a lot. 4/5
HA-01-058 Shinrin Kamui (N)

ATTACK: When this character battles, your opponent can’t Support from their hand.
Judgement: His ability all but guarantees a successful attack. 3/5
HA-01-059 Backdraft (N)

EFFECT: [2 Doryoku] Draw 1 card.
Jugement: Slightly underwhelming, I’d say. 2/5
HA-01-060 Mt. Lady (N)
[Hero – Female – Hero Suit]
ATTACK: This card gets 10 Power.
Judgement: Well that’s certainly one way to get a successful hit in. There’s actually just one single card in this game that can block 20 Power, so she certainly has her uses. 4/5
And there you have it, folks! The first booster set of this game adds a lot of cards to improve your deck with, and it’s only the beginning.
