Hello, my dear Luka design hater! Thank you for the ask!
You accidentally killed somebody. Which mutual(s) do you text for help?
I dunno why, but my first thought was you. I just think you have the right amount of chaotic energy to help in a situation like that, lol. I'd also probably ask @lycorogue since she is my mama wolf and would hopefully protect me ahaha! And @jowyavilon since he is my boyfriend and so he has to help me.
Share some personal lore that you never posted about before.
I'm not quite 100% sure what exactly this question is asking, but I'm going to interpret it as lore regarding my fics or OCs? Hmmm. Not sure if I've posted about this before, but my characters Lily and Luna from my Hellsing fic 'Double Trouble' were actually born premature like quite a few twins are, so I feel like Alucard and Seras are a lot more subconsciously overprotective of them as a result. I'm pretty sure most stuff regarding my Miraculous Ladybug fanfics have already been posted and talked about my my blog.
What's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?
A lot of my dream themes and plots for fics are fics that are already currently being written and just haven't been updated in a while lol. But my current favourite authors of these do include: @lycorogue, Oxford Not Brogues, little corbin, @pinkfluffacttuff, and Deathwish_Nine.
Add 50 words to your current WIP and share your paragraph here.
“Again, I offer you a choice, Seras Victoria,” the older vampire continued, not even blinking as he stared intensely into Seras’ eyes.
“Will you follow me out into the night?”
Seras already knew her answer, but there were still questions burning at the back of her mind.
I kinda cheated and just took a 50 word snippet because I'm too tired to add things to it right now, sorry.
Thanks again for playing the ask game with me!

Hey girl! For your "Ask about WIPs" game, I'm interested in "I Don't Care" and/or "Seduce with Caution." Hope you're well, stay safe!!
Hey right back! I am doing well. Hope the same for you and yours.
[WIP tag game: my list]
Ya know what, no one else has played yet, so I'll go ahead and indulge. 😀
I Don't Care
This story actually started life as a "tumblr exclusive" one-shot called Stranger in a White Dress (published here May 2018). It was actually one of the first fanfics I posted to Tumblr. It was inspired by the song "Play Me Like a Violin" by Stephen (*warning: the music video has flashing bits, so those with photosensitivity, please be careful if you watch instead of just listen).
I don't know why specifically I latched onto Gabriel Agreste and Emilie Graham de Vanily, but it seemed appropriate somehow. The story was them having a meet cute in college. Emilie would have blown into Gabriel's life for a few minutes, stole a kiss unexpectedly, and then blew back out of his life just as abruptly.
The story stayed like that for quite some time. Then, August 2019, I heard the acoustic version of Ed Sheeran's song "I Don't Care". At first blush, the song sounded like something my husband would sing, but the more I listened the more I realized it could be Gabriel singing about/to Emilie. This song was kind of the theme of the Agrestes' relationship, in my opinion. Hence stealing the song title for the story's title. I took the first verse about being at a party, and continued my story. Gabriel was dragged to a party by his flatmate, and Emilie coincidentally was there. The two reconnected, and Gabriel turned a one-time chance encounter at a club into a potential relationship.
I'm not entirely sure where else to go with this story, aside from knowing I want it to be the love story between these two. Possibly ending with Adrien's birth. Possibly continuing until Emilie's "disappearance." Not sure which yet. However, this whole story is a bit of a slow process while I wait for inspiration to strike again, mostly by way of new music. I have been a touch obsessed for the past year with the songs "2AM" by MK (feat Carla Monroe) and "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur as a back and forth between Emilie and Gabriel respectively (the fact that "2AM" has a female vocalist and "Say You Won't Let Go" has a male vocalist just makes it all the better). The only snafu there is that this would be a chapter about them drinking too much while out, and/or Emilie drunk calling Gabriel and asking for him to spend the night with her. As spontaneous as I like making Emilie, it seems a bit abrupt considering where their relationship stands at the end of the 2nd chapter. So I want to come up with a buffer one showing their first official date as my 3rd chapter. I'm just not sure what said date should look like yet. Thus this WIP sits in waiting.
If you want to read the first two chapters, you can find them over on AO3, FFN, or DA.
Seduce with Caution
This one is actually my current WIP. It's also my first foray into Miraculous Ladybug smut (aged-up, of course).
For some reason, August brings out the smut in me (is it the warm weather?), and I've written other smutty fics during that month in the past. Most have never seen the light of day. I've written a couple using the X-Men OCs created for my husband's play-by-post role-play game. I've written one using my D&D character and one of her partymates. The only smut I've officially published though was my interpretation of a handwaved sex scene in the book Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore (mostly because the series was fairly unknown and that book had been published 7 years prior, so I figured not many would even find my smut).
I have never tried ML smut before though, despite enjoying a lot of the ones I've found. I just couldn't get past the mental image of the Love Square as 14-year-olds.
Last year, however, while reading Dressed to Confess by @zenmisery , she had a bit where Chat Noir's costume acted as a bit of a magical chastity belt. For some reason, that gave me this fantastic concept for a MariChat sex scene. I started working on it, but I realized that it seemed too abrupt of an interaction between these two characters without also having the story be post-reveal and the two of them being in a relationship. The concept, though, would have been how MariChat could spend a night together without Marinette finding out who Chat Noir is under the mask first. The whole premise crumbles if they're already in a relationship and/or it's post-reveal.
I just couldn't get the balance right, and so I abandoned the story. Right around December, I tried again by backtracking a touch to include the seduction and foreplay leading into the sex scene. That too seemed a bit left-field. It felt like glorious crack, and I was tempted to just run with it because crack is a fantastic story "genre" but I... just can't find it within myself to do so. So the story was abandoned again.
This past August I revisited the story once more. After 3 or 4 false starts, I tried backing up even further with my story's starting point. Now this story has become a slow-burn, sexual tension, blushfest. There's implied masturbation, and later chapters will include make-out sessions with heavy petting, but the actual true-blue smut won't show up until the final chapter or so. So my "Porn without Plot" has become "so much pining with a sprinkle of smut thrown in for flavor". 😅
I still don't have a concrete story figured out, but the working summary is: "While 19yo Chat Noir tries to demonstrate to Marinette his new 'moves' to try to win Ladybug over, he accidentally seduces Marinette. Now she has to come to terms with the knowledge that she finds him sexy and highly desirable, all while still holding a flame for Adrien. Meanwhile, Adrien has to wrestle with the knowledge that he found Marinette getting hot and bothered over him a major turn-on. Chaos ensues."
Considering it kept me over a year to write just the first chapter (but only 3 days to write the second one), I want this story complete before unleashing it onto the world. I also need to build up the confidence to let the rest of the fandom read my first ever MariChat smut soooooooooooooooooo..........
ANYWAY, yup. That's what's up with I Don't Care and Seduce with Caution.
A romance story between young Gabriel and Emilie where I humanize Gabriel....
And a slow-burn MariChat smut story that will only really include anything explicit in the last chapter or so.
Thanks so much for the ask! This was fun. Feel free to ask me more!
I've also talked about my original WIP Glitches here, here, and here, as well as talk about my other Gabriel-humanizing project When Love Matters here.

I'm Not Allowed to Love You
I'm Not Allowed to Love You by LycoRogue
Ever since that night on the Palais de Chaillot, when Chat Noir refused to abandon Ladybug, things have been different between them. Ladybug blushes around him a bit more. She's been more vocal about how upset and scared his needless risks make her. She laughs more at his jokes, and forgets to berate him for making them in the first place. She's even flirted with him a bit more.
Adrien is fading from her thoughts as he's slowly replaced by Chat Noir, and it terrifies her.
Then, one night, Chat Noir takes his shot, and asks Ladybug out one last time. Neither of them could have anticipated the can of worms that would open, and how painful her answer would be.

Author name: I have been Cyhyr everywhere on the internets since 2006, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
Fandoms I write for: Most of my posted stories are for Final Fantasy XV, but in the past I’ve been known to write for the MCU and Kingdom Hearts, and even dabbled a bit into Naruto once upon a time. My KH and Naruto stuff isn’t available online anymore since I deleted my ffnet stuff though. I’m also currently writing for the White Clouds Tarot Zine, so expect some Fire Emblem: Three Houses fics in the future.
Where I post: On tumblr and AO3
Most popular one-shot: Based on AO3′s stats, that would be my MCU piece Fever, which as of 9 March 2020 has 7185 hits and 205 kudos. Admittedly, Fever has also been live since 2012.
Favorite story I wrote: This is a loaded question. So, by “favorite” I’m going to take it to mean that it was the most fun to write, but not necessarily my best work, yeah? And in that case it’s definitely the collab piece I did with a high school friend of mine (which, btw, is incomplete and likely will stay that way, as the two of us have fallen out of contact). It’s a Kingdom Hearts & Legend of Dragoon Crossover and I’ll be honest with y’all, it’s pretty bad in the beginning but you can see the progression both of us make with our writing as we grew up with that story. We traded off chapters, so I had the prologue and then the even numbered chapters going from there. I am very aware that the final chapter is technically mine to write, but like... I’d rather rewrite the whole thing lol.
The Legend of Dragoon by CyVeroxen (Axel/Roxas)
Story I was nervous to post: Displaced by Time, every single chapter that I send to the betas my stomach drops out and then when I finally get around to updating I usually have to hit the post button after an hour or so of formatting and last-second go-overs and then run away. It’s my baby and I want people to love it, but I don’t do longfics typically.
How do I choose titles:
1. Title of Prompt, if given
2. An important word, translated to another language
3. A word that can summarize the theme of the piece
4. ??? sometimes I just don’t title it
Do you outline? Yep. Displaced by Time’s final outline is 4 Acts in 11 pages, but I’ve had original works that have had outlines of 20+ pages. I’ll further outline the individual chapter as I work on it, and then the dialogue, and then snowball from there. It lets me move around to the part in the story that is inspiring me to write while still keeping placeholder scenes where they belong.
Complete: 13
Final Fantasy XV (11) Fire Emblem: Three Houses (1) The Avengers (Marvel Movies) (1)
In progress:
Displaced by Time
White Clouds Tarot Zine Piece(s)
Plunnies: I really try not to let the bunnies breed in my head until after the current WIP is complete. That said, Sylvix week had me thinking of expanding on the Family prompt and I’ve been lurking on the Witcher Kinkmeme and let me tell you there are a few prompts there that have got me thinking...
Do you take prompts? I struggle a bit when other people give me prompts, for the most part. However, I do have a Bad Things Happen Bingo Card that needs filling out, and while some of these things can/will show up in DbT, it’s nice to be able to take a quick break from the story.
Upcoming project I’m most excited about: I’m not sure where the winds of writing will take me next.
Tagging but under no obligations to participate: if you write and want to answer, go ahead!

Fandoms I write for: Right now it’s mostly focused on Miraculous Ladybug. I have been thinking about writing some Avengers and Disney stories, but strong ideas haven’t hit me yet.
Where I post: I post all my works, no matter the size, on Ao3. I also post about 99% of my works here on Tumblr.
Most popular one-shot: My most popular one-shot is a story called A Leap into Salvation. WARNING: THIS IS A TRIGGER FOR THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE. As of today (3/7/20), it has 2206 hits and 214 kudos. I wrote it when I was at my lowest point, where I felt like my whole world was crumbling at my feet. I needed to just write my feelings out before I could do something I would have regretted.
Favorite story I wrote: Oh goodness. My favorite one shot was one that hit me one morning and I wrote the story down in about two hours. It’s a identity reveal crack fic about Adrien having an extremely bad day and all before lunch! It’s called Golden Boy’s Cursed Day.
My favorite story? Well, I have two for two different reasons. My first multi-chapter completed fic called 25 Days of Adrien (+6 of Marinette) is post-relationship, pre-reveal tooth rotting fluff based on the tumblr prompts for December. I decided to take the opportunity to give golden boy the fluff he deserves and Marinette being the one to cherish and love him like he should be. Gabriel is an okay dad in some occasions.
My second story is also a Tumblr prompt for lovesquarefluffweek2020 and it’s another multi-chapter story. Chasing Feelings starts off slow, but by the end of it, you will get a funny adrienette moment that will make you laugh at their prank.
Story I was nervous to post: A Leap into Salvation was the hardest to post. My raw emotion was in that story and finally getting my feelings out scared me. I cried a lot that day.
How do I choose titles:  I come up with a story first. I’ll put a general idea and I’ll change it whenever I feel like it doesn’t match the story any more. There have been times where the title comes before the story, but that’s rare.
Do you outline? Depends? Tumblr prompts, yes. I come up with an idea and just write in a blurb of what I expect to see in that chapter. I’ll only delve into it if it’s something that needs to be written out because there is an important scene or emotion that I just need to convey.  Besides that, most stories just start with a thought and then I just write it all out how I see fit. I just refer to previous chapters for consistency and flow but the scenes just come out where they want to .
Complete: 11 (Miraculous Ladybug)
In progress: 2
Main WIP: A Night to Remember (currently chapter 17 of 22 & posted in Ao3) and The Beauty and the Chat (Chapter 1 of ? & posted in Ao3).
Current WIP: I have a break dance AU called Dancing My Way to Your Heart. It’s a one-shot non-miraculous and about 3/4 of the way done.
Random On-going WIP: I dabble in this one when I’m angry or agitated. It’s untitled, but it is class salt with Alya and Nino being in between emotions (because I love those two) and Adrien sugar towards Marinette even with Lila’s lies turning everyone against her. I have no idea where this story will be going. I just needed to write the first stage of it.
I have a story called When I Love You Sparks Confusion (title is still a WIP) and it follows the episode Felix. I have a timeline written, but nothing more than a few ideas.
“Backburner” WIPs: I have another angsty story called The Fall and it will conclude with Hawkmoth’s demise. I have no idea how to start it though.
I have a soulmate au called The Color of Love..Just an idea, I’ll probably write it in a few months.
Plunnies:  I have a part 2 to the 25 Days of Adrien fic with post marriage Adrienette.
I also want to create plot bunnies of Bunnix interfering with Marinette confessing to Adrien in all the episodes. It’s called Bunnyx Interferes.
I want to write another Marichat fic of Chat falling off the roof and Marinette helping him (friends to understanding feelings).
Do you take prompts? I love to take prompts. My ask is always open!
Upcoming project I’m most excited about: It’s untitled at the moment, but I have an idea of a story to talk about the Graham de Vanily rings. It will be an Adrien POV story, but it will mostly revolve around Felix, the rings, the Graham de Vanily family and secrets behind them, and the importance of Hawkmoth (and maybe Lila). It’s a project that’s been sitting on the back burner, but once I finish the two open WIP stories, I will be putting a lot of effort into that.
Tagging but you are under no obligations to participate: @flashflashitsash @seasonofthegeek @ladybuginettes @gryffindorcls
(I know some of you are socially anxious, so again, you are under NO OBLIGATION to participate. I just figured people might be interested in knowing more about you)
Also, if you write and want to answer, assume I’m tagging you as well. I’d love to know more about your writing.

[Fanfic Writer Ask Game Questions]
7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?
By far the headcanon (which became a story) that I'm proudest of is the origin story of the lucky charm bracelet Marinette gave Adrien in "Gamer."
She already had it on-hand, and she didn't seem to have made it specifically to gift to Adrien. She even said he could "borrow" it, but never got it back. I think the charm bracelet was a spur of the moment decision to try to cheer him up and build up his confidence. When I was a kid, my mom gifted me various inspirational cards and worry stones to help me through finals and remind me that I could achieve anything I put my mind to. It felt fitting that Marinette's parents would do something similar, and THAT is where the bracelet originally came from.
If you want to read the full headcanon-inspired story, you can find it here: Build Your Own Luck
I love this headcanon so much I'm making sure to work it into my "I promise, I'm still working on it" WIP One and the Same.
Honorable Mention for favorite headcanon would be the headcanons I came up with for my Plagg-centric/Plagg-Appreciation story Forever in Darkness. In particular, my headcanon that Plagg was Aladdin's "lesser genie of the ring" from the 1001 Arabian Nights tale. I basically had that headcanon since I first saw Origins and Plagg mentioned meeting a genie before.
(Also, ya know, I still consider my first completed multi-chapter story Peeping Tomcat my magnum opus... so... yeah... proud of that one too)
13. When did you start writing fanfic?
I've been dabbling in fanfic pretty much ever since I understood what fandom was. When I was in elementary school I would create a whole series of X-Men OCs (only to discover a decade or so later that nearly every OC I thought of is already a canon X-Men character, they just never made the cut for the 90s cartoon).
In middle school and early high school (so roughly ages 12 through 15), I created a self-insert Batman OC (and love interest for Dick Grayson's Robin). She was Selena Kyle's niece that moved in with her. She struggled between excitedly being her Aunt Selena's apprentice as a cat burglar, and using those skills to be a hero with Batman and Robin. I can't recall the character's name anymore, but she went by the alias Black Panther (because that was my school's mascot and I'm a nerd like that).
About the age of 16 or 17 I joined my first play-by-post role-play game where I played Harley Quinn. It didn't last long before the game master went to college and the whole thing fell apart.
Then there was a fanfic dry spell. I did work on original works almost constantly from the age of 10 straight through to college. Then I had a college professor that more-or-less broke my creative writing spirit, sadly. I still wrote for video production classes and scriptwriting classes, but I didn't write anything recreationally for over 5 years.
Then, in 2009 I got back into the "Hey, Arnold!" fandom. August 2010 I wrote my first fanfic for the fandom. It would be the first fanfic I would ever publish online. I've been working on fanfics again ever since. 😁 (if you don't want to read the story on FFN, you can find the import over to AO3 here)
15. What is the fanfic you’ve written that you’re most proud of?
As I said before, I still think of Peeping Tomcat as my magnum opus. It is the longest story I've written. It is the first multi-chapter story I was able to actually complete. There are a lot of moments in that story that I just love to reread myself. It's the first story I've written that I felt compelled to write a sequel to (sadly, said sequel, One and the Same, has been stubborn the past 4 years and won't properly form, so that's still a WIP). It's the only ML fanfic I've published that has inspired fanart (but it's not my first fanfic ever to inspire art. That honor goes to my sadly abandoned HA! fanfic What is Truly Meant to Be). Plus, I got to emotionally torture poor Adrien, but also give him a happy ending.
Runner Up, I think, would have to be Prescription for Love, which is my interpretation of what Adrien did off-screen during the season 3 episode "Backwarder." A lot of my reviews have stated how much people loved Kagami in that story despite not particularly enjoying her canon characterization at that point in the series. Plus, Adrien is an oblivious little mush.
Honorable Mentions to the aforementioned Build Your Own Luck as well as my first Christmas-themed story Woven Heartstrings. I am still amazed at how perfect the gifts are for all of the characters, and I was the one who thought of them!!!! Plus, I've had a surprisingly large number of kudos/comments on that story outside of the holiday season, so it must really resonate with people even outside of December. Final Honorable Mention goes to the aforementioned Plagg-Appreciation story Forever in Darkness.
16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?
Goodness. I actually don't write for tropes. Not really. I aim more for "how close to a legit episode can I make this story?" or just general "This plot bunny showed up and I guess I'm nurturing it now???"
I don't know if I even KNOW all of the basic fanfic tropes....
If I used the This or That (Fanfic Edition) game as a guide, I think the tropes off of that list I'd avoid would be:
Flower Shop AU - I don't know much about flowers for that to be worth trying
Historical AU - I am TRASH at historical anything... although I'm a HUGE steampunkest... go figure
Major AU reworks in general - I am perfectly content snuggled into the canon. I like this show for a reason. And I like fanfic because the world building has already been done for me.
Crack??? - I don't have anything against crack. I quite enjoy it. I just... I'm not creative enough to come up with something so bonkers????
Whump - Not intentionally, at least. I almost never go into a story with the goal to torture the characters. That just... kinda... sorta... happens??? Sometimes???
Enemies to Lovers - I ADORE this trope, but I don't know if I could ever manage to write Adrien/Chat Noir as Marinette's/Ladybug's enemy nearly as masterfully as the other works already out there. Especially when some of my "competition" includes Discordant Sonata by @edendaphne and Curiosity and Satisfaction by @imthepunchlord.
Whew! This was even longer than the 4-question ask from Cyhyr! You ladies sure do know how to get me to talk. 😁
Thanks so much for the ask! Anyone else interested in getting to know more about me and my writing style? Feel free to drop me those asks. 😁

1, 2, 8, and 22 for the ask game!!!
Cy! You KNOW how wordy I get, and you dared to still ask me 4 questions!? You're just begging for me to put the Long Post hashtag on this thing, aren't you? 🤣
[Fanfic Writer Ask Game Questions]
1. What’s your favorite character(s) to write for?
I 100% adore writing for the Love Square. How do you not adore writing for these two dense beans? They're especially easy for me to write them because I have "been" both Marinette and Adrien in various stages of my teenage life. I've been obsessed (borderline stalker) with my crush(es) growing up. I've been sheltered and super socially awkward because of it. I've felt the need to be the "perfect" child and dealt with losing a parent when I was 13. I have had complete freak-outs over my crush(es) and couldn't bear telling them because of COURSE they couldn't POSSIBLY like me back. I've had well-meaning friends push to get my "secret" love out in the open because they were convinced it would work out. I've experienced a lot of what these two idiots go through, so it's easy to write them.
I have to admit, though, out of the two I do have a particular soft spot for Adrien. I don't know what it is about him specifically, or his relationship with Plagg vs Marinette's with Tikki, but it is catnip to me. There's a reason I wrote an 84,000+ word story in 1st person through Adrien's POV.
2. What character(s) do you find the most difficult to write for? Why?
I haven't really written many of the side characters for Miraculous Ladybug. I adore all of Bustier's class, but I rarely seem to include them in my stories (obvious exceptions being Alya, Nino, and Chloe). They're used so infrequently in canon (especially poor Nathaniel) that it's just hard for me to think of plot lines for them for my stories. I also have a lot less of a character study to go off of to write some of them. They all deserve more love, though. So I hope they get it canonically, and I hope to figure out some plot lines for them in my stories.
Out of the characters I HAVE written for? Nervous Marinette is tricky. Trying to get her word-jarbles around Adrien to sound right and not exaggerated is quite the balancing act. I also don't study music at all, so trying to shoehorn all of Luka's music references in his inspirational speeches are equally a challenge.
8. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi chaptered stories?
I PREFER to write one-shots. I have so many story ideas in queue, and being able to churn them out quickly would be a dream. Also, being able to have a relatively quick turn-around time for my readers would be amazing.
Out of the 42 stories I've published to AO3, only 12 are multi-chaptered. Out of the 24 ML stories (the fandom I'm currently writing for), 7 are multi-chapter.
My MUSE, on the other hand, very much prefers multi-chaptered stories. Out of those 7 multi-chapter ML stories, only 2 were intended to be multi-chapter before I even wrote the first word (one was for Love Square Fluff Week, so I knew there would be one chapter per prompt, and the other was a retelling of a friend's story, so I knew I'd have one chapter for each of hers). The other 5 started out as one-shots that got away from me. Expanding to the other fandoms: 1 was another fandom ship week, and 2 were going to be anthologies but neither got very far. The other 2 were again one-shots that got away from me.
22. Do you enjoy making OCs for your fanfics, or prefer sticking to canon characters?
I prefer all or nothing. If I'm going to write using OCs, it will be ONLY OCs (with maybe cameos from the canon characters). This is usually for role-play games though, such as my X-Future characters (an X-Men role-play my husband hosted) or my D&D characters.
My standard fanfic will be canon characters almost exclusively. The exception there would be one-off characters that the reader doesn't really need to meet. Such as akumatized victims in my ML fanfics. Or love interests that have come-and-gone as the main romantic couple try and fail to get over each other.
I largely choose to write this way because I feel like we don't need to "meet" the canon characters in fanfic, so it always feels off to slow down the story to properly introduce an OC. (Not to say that it can't be done. I've seen OCs skillfully included in fanfics; I just haven't mastered it in my voice in a way I'm happy with yet.) On the flipside, if I'm focusing on an OC, I want the story to be as Original-Adjacent as possible, so I try to avoid canon characters who might otherwise distract the readers.
Thanks so much for the ask! Anyone else interested in getting to know more about me and my writing style? Feel free to drop me those asks. 😁

An Adrinette Confession
BEHOLD! I present unto you a random Adrienette fluff scene with absolutely no surrounding context! I have no story planned for this. I have no lead-in. I have no closing. I have this scene that needed out of my head. You fine folks can take it from there, I guess. 🤷‍♀️
.............................................................
~~ Is It True?  ~~
“I- I love you, Adrien!” Marinette shouted at him, her shoulders tight, her fists balled, and her eyes shut. Her body did all it could to block out the rest of the world; shield her from the inevitable rejection.
He loudly gasped, a hitch in the sudden inhale. Marinette couldn't bare to look. Instead, she ran off. She knew she had to face him eventually, but she could avoid him for a few hours right now.
“Marinette! Wait!” He shouted after her, but she kept running. She ignored the tears. She'd wipe them away when she was safe. Besides, feeling them roll down her cheeks was cathartic.
“Marinette!” Adrien's footfalls kept pace with hers, and Marinette secretly wished she had the extra stamina and agility of Ladybug; some way of getting away from Adrien. He didn't tire, though, and she did; already exhausted from the confession alone.
She found a little corner where she could hide away, and collapsed against the wall. She knew he'd find her in a few seconds, but she couldn't run anymore. She hastily wiped her eyes dry and her cheeks clean.
“M-Marinette?” Adrien skidded to a stop, and ventured into her pathetic hiding spot. “Marinette, are you okay?”
She wanted to tell him yes. She wanted to laugh it all off and pretend it never happened. She was too weak, though. Too tired to keep pretending. She shook her head no.
“Marinette?”
She was staring at the floor, trying not to notice how much closer his voice got. Then those stupid orange sneakers inched next to her pink slip-ons. Marinette hugged herself tight, but wouldn't look up at him. If she didn't see him, if she could forget those sweet, soft green eyes, or that kind smile, or those warm arms, maybe she could give him up.
“Marinette, I'm sorry if you want to be alone, but-” his voice was airy; panting, as if he was struggling to breathe as well. “But I need to know, please. Was that true? Do you love me? Like, not how you love Alya or I love Nino, but, love love?” His voice shook.
Marinette screwed her eyes closed as tight as she could. She knew she had ruined their friendship. It was so fragile to begin with, and now it was gone. She didn't have what she wanted with Adrien, so she sabotaged it and now she had nothing. Her mind raced with ways to save it all, but the way Adrien said, “please” told her it was too late to backtrack now. She couldn't lie to him anymore; hide her heart from him.
Slowly, she nodded, softly whimpering.
“So-” Marinette felt Adrien's shaky breath breeze through her hair. He was so close. “So you love me? More than just as a friend?”
She didn't understand why he was torturing her like this. It wasn't the Adrien she knew. Frustrated, she met his eyes for the first time since she confessed. She jumped slightly upon realizing he was practically leaning against her. Subconsciously shuffling a few inches away, she once more yelled at him. “Yes! Yes, Adrien! Yes, I don't just love you, I'm in love with you! I have been this whole time. Since that second day of school when you told me about the gum and then offered me your umbrella. I-”
Then he was there. One arm was wrapped around Marinette's waist, and the other hand was cradling her head. His eyes were half-lidded, and his nose nearly brushed hers.
“Forgive me,” he breathed, and then he gently kissed her.
It was more than a peck, but it was still unbearably short. It was the slow, increased pressure on her lips as he leaned in, instantly followed by the slow withdraw of him pulling away. It was a second. Maybe two. Marinette fully melted at the touch. Her whole body rushed with heat and electricity.
Too soon, their lips were their own again. Adrien's hands were still cradling her head and resting on her lower back, but the touch Marinette longed for was gone. She stared at him, gaping slightly as her mind tried to register what had happened.
“Sorry.” Adrien's voice was low and soft. He had a hard time holding her gaze. He then leaned back and withdrew his hands. Their connection was fully broken. “I- I should have asked permission first.”
“Adrien, wha-?” She was dazed. Her mind played their kiss on a loop, but she couldn't believe it was real.
“I've loved you for a while now too. I was a bit blind to it for a long time, and then I couldn't believe that you would ever think of me as more than a friend. I thought you were in love with someone else, honestly. So, when you said you were in love with me, and you have been for a while? I couldn't stop myself from kissing you. I’m sorry.”
“Wait.” Marinette's eyes darted between both of his emerald-green ones. His cheeks flushed, but this time his gaze didn't break. He drank her fully in as her mind raced to catch up. “You? You love me? You're in love with me?”
“Uh-huh.” A bashful half-smile grew across his lips, tempting Marinette back into their embrace.
“You-” she struggled to swallow. “You wanted to kiss me?”
His half-smile shifted into a smirk. His hands again reached around her waist, and found a home on her back. “Almost all the time.”
“Even now?”
His eyes grew heavy, and he leaned in slightly. “Especially now.”
“Good.” Marinette cupped each side of Adrien's face, and brought his lips to hers.

Sorry for taking so long getting back to you. Things have been busy so i'm not on tumblr as often these days. I'll answer as best as i can in this ask, but for more detail you should probably send me a message so we don't have to worry about word limit. Or maybe i'll just make a post and tag you in it.
There is no universal format, but a lot of people put ID at the beginning so people know where it starts and i've seen end ID on some.
One thing I know is to use paragraph breaks between pictures so that screen readers see them separately and not in one huge block of text.
All caps is bad because some screen readers will read each individual letter and for hashtags you should #CapitalizeEachWord so the readers can pick them up better.
Detail is the most ambiguous and varies based on the post. But I stand by the advice given to me that 'any description is better than none.' Also the more you do, the easier it will become and there are a whole lot of people like me willing to help.
You can check out my 'image description' or 'accessibility' tags for more info or feel free to send me a message or ask at any point. I can't promise I'll be quick, but I will answer.
First of all, no worries. I’ve also been on Tumblr (and the internet as a whole) a bit sporadically this... well, this whole year. I do appreciate you taking time out of your day to help a novice improve to better help others with accessibility.
I did know about capitalizing in hashtags, and, frankly, I liked doing that for my own sanity to help my brain break up each word. I did not know about writing in all caps though, so thank you so much for that information.
I hope you don’t mind me publishing this ask, but I feel it’s super helpful and important for others to know. Thank you again for the assist.

Author name: I make life easy for everyone. I’m LycoRogue just about everywhere.
Fandoms I write for: I mostly write for Miraculous Ladybug, starting in the fandom late 2017. In the past (about 2010-2013), I was almost exclusively writing for the “Hey, Arnold!” fandom. While not as many, I’ve also started up some Fruits Basket stories once the reboot began airing last year. Beyond those normal fandoms, I’ve also thrown in random fics for any old thing that has caught my attention: a couple of stories for the Enderverse series, a random story based on a song about zombies, a one-shot teaser about a Cirque du Soleil show, and oddly only one Legend of Zelda story even though that’s probably my favorite fandom outside of ML. I’ve also had some “fanfics” that were MOSTLY original works based vaguely in the worlds of pre-established properties, such as backstories and side stories for my D&D characters, a short-lived attempt to recap the World of Darkness - Vampire: The Masquerade LARP I was in, and stories for the original characters I created for an X-Men play-by-post. The PbP, called X-Future, was a game where all of the playable characters were OCs that only occasionally interact with canon Marvel characters.
Where I post: You can find my works here on Tumblr (tag #LycoRogue Fanfic), over on AO3, on FFN, and - if you’re desperate - I still post to DA.
Most popular one-shot: Based only on AO3′s stats, it would be my Lukanette birthday gift for @thetauruspixie: I Was Thinking of You  (As of 3/6/20: it has 1773 hits and 208 kudos)
OK, this became long because that’s just who I am... 9_9 So... if you want to know more about me, check below the break. ^_^
Favorite story I wrote: I have a multi-chapter story and a one-shot. Both are for ML. The multi-chapter story is Peeping Tomcat, and it is my magnum opus! It started off as one of the first-ever fanfics I wrote for the fandom, and then I realized it had LOADS more story to tell. It is the first multi-chapter story I’ve completed, despite starting and abandoning about a half-dozen before it. This is my baby! The story is about Chat Noir checking in on Marinette once when he thought she was in danger, and then got addicted to innocently spying on her in her bedroom in order to learn more about her while she’s relaxed and most “herself”. I have a sequel that has been in the works for nearly 2yrs now. Yes, I AM still working on the sequel One and the Same, in case any of my readers were nervous about that....
The one-shot is Build Your Own Luck which is a headcanon story about where I believe that lucky charm bracelet Marinette gave Adrien originally came from. It’s a sweet family-bonding story that I loved so much that I’m tying it into my Peeping Tomcat canon. The story behind The BraceletTM will appear in One and the Same.
I also really love one of those “mostly original” stories for X-Future. It was a story originally written by @cyhyr‘s spouse, but when I corrected him on how my character Willow would have truly acted in that situation we decided to make it a collab story. Then it became monstrous, and I think I overwhelmed him. So it’s kind of been in limbo for a few years, but I periodically go back to that project every couple of months, really wanting to get it back down to a manuscript he can manage so we can complete it. For anyone interested, the as-of-now-unofficially-abandoned story is Please, Let Me Explain. In the roleplay, his character Devon left the Xavier Institute to find out more about the parents that abandoned him as an infant. About 1/2hr later, the school gets destroyed in an attack, and the surviving students and faculty believe Devon had something to do with it. Two years later, Devon returns to the school, surprised to find out there were any survivors after spending the last 20 months or so “avenging” all of the students’ deaths. My character Willow is pissed at Devon. He wants to prove his innocence to her. Things are complicated....
Story I was nervous to post: I mean, I’m always nervous to put my heart and soul out there; screaming into the void. Especially when I write things that are more original-leaning. Or when I’m writing gifts for people, especially for those fandom exchanges. Those are terrifying because you know virtually nothing about the person you’re writing for, so you don’t truly know if they’ll like it. I still have a couple of stories that resulted in complete radio-silence from the receiver.
The one I was MOST nervous about though? Probably one I’m still nervous about sharing here. It’s my first-ever published smut for a fandom I didn’t even know existed until last summer and has seemingly died off since the book series completed back in like 2012. My story is called Sparks for the Moment and is for the story Bitterblue within the Seven Kingdoms Trilogy (also known as the Graceling Series). It’s a bittersweet sex scene that takes place between canonical scenes at the end of the story, so beware spoilers.
How do I choose titles:  Oh lord, how DO I choose titles!? It’s usually a truly grueling process because I try to stick to 4 rules of thumb:  1. Something that is significant to the story, be it an item or a phrase or a theme, etc. 2. Something that gives you an idea of the feel of the story based on the title (I have no clue if I ever succeeded on this) 3. Something easy to remember; generally less than 5 words long. 4. A title that isn’t already being used by another author (this makes things REAL tricky)
Do you outline? Ummmmm.... Once upon a time? No. I was a full-on pantser. Then, more-or-less when I was working on Peeping Tomcat I became more of a plantser. I now have a skeleton of what I want to write, and try to get as much figured out as I can, only for the characters to go “HAHAHA. Nope.” and then I just kinda follow them.
Complete: 35
Cirque du Soleil (1) Dungeons & Dragons (Roleplaying Game) (2) Enderverse (2) Fruits Basket (4) Hey Arnold! (7) Re: Your Brains - Jonathan Coulton (Song) (1) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (1) Miraculous Ladybug (16) Seven Kingdoms Trilogy - Kristin Cashore (1)
Incomplete (I added this one for ReasonsTM):
Pseudo LoZ and Fable crossover original hybrid thing (1) Hey Arnold! (1) World of Darkness - Vampire: The Masquerade (1)
In progress: After unofficially abandoning so many stories, I’ve stopped publishing any until the whole story is written and just needs one last polish. That was how I managed to get Peeping Tomcat done. That said, I have a couple of irons in the fire.
Main WIP: One and the Same Current WIP: Love Square Fluff Week 2020 (an exception to the “wait til it’s all written rule) Random On-going WIP: I Don’t Care (I never intended this to be an on-going story, but there you have it) “Backburner” WIPs:  > What Is Truly Meant To Be (A HA! story I unintentionally abandoned in 2013)  > X-Future: The Second Generation Begins (My recapping of the X-Future game)  > X-Future Snippets (Random one-shot stories in the X-Future universe)  > Please, Let Me Explain (The aforementioned X-Future collab)
Plunnies:   > When Love Matters (a retelling of the ML series if Gabriel actually was a loving father)  > A collab with @thetauruspixie to write a Fu-centric story telling of his travels through Europe with the Miracle Box and his love affair with Marianne
Do you take prompts? I’ll be honest, I struggle a touch with prompts, but I like challenging myself. One of the reasons I’m doing the gift exchanges. So, if you have a prompt idea, I’d love to hear it. See if it inspires me. :D
Upcoming project I’m most excited about: When Love Matters. I wanted to work on that between breaks, while I had time to backtrack before more episodes aired. Considering how long OatS is taking though, I might not get to start his project until about the time S4 starts. 9_9
Tagging but you are under no obligations to participate: @thetauruspixie, @cyhyr, @chibisunnie, @rikareena, @coffeecomicsgalore, @chanceuseladynoire, @zenmisery, @i-am-the-niece-of-satan (I know some of you are socially anxious, so again, you are under NO OBLIGATION to participate. I just figured people might be interested in knowing more about you)
Also, if you write and want to answer, assume I’m tagging you as well. I’d love to know more about your writing.
