I did a sketch (a couple years ago-) where I tried to show off how I draw some of the Sanses skulls differently. The idea stuck with me, and now I've created these "cards" where you can see all the differences super clearly!

T-s makes the ch sound

D-y makes the j sound

K-w makes qu sound

K-s will make x sound

Ng is there for words such as siNG and wroNG etc etc

E/I is either e or i based on context, same with O/U

If there's a main letter(ML) and an First/In letter(F/I) on the same letter. The consonant of F/I will be in between of ML and vowel.

Use F/I if the word is gonna start with the sound of vowel, only use Last/Out (L/O) for syllables that end with the sound of a constant.

No vowels is there to add consonants for letters that doesn't have enough space for it. If its the start use ML if it's in-between use F/I

All letter f will be p, all letter v will be b, all c will be k.

Shapes on average have six fingers so they count on base 6, the reason why Mamig is using the Parai Number system is because it's much easier to do math with it than with their own

Backstory time!!

This is the script they use in Mamig! An island located at the north pole of Chromatis(the name of the planet)! For a bit of idea, Paradise's island is located near the tropic of Cancer if it was ever on Earth!

Originally Mamigians didn't have have a writing system since, distance from each small village/tribe/etc. is really far, and also had no need for it.

But during the War of Rock, Sea and Ice, they needed a way to send messages to plan a coup against the Quatillians without them hearing about it. And so they have created the first writing script of Mamig, which later on, developed into what the images above is now!

Mid's default / main timeline

I realized that even if I said my Mid is 23 years old post-timeskip because I created my blog before the Ultimania was released, I never made an actual post about her timeline, so here you have it! 👀 Some of these have been discussed with the bestest @bymargrace & @creatrix-mea so thank you guys for always contributing to my headcanons haha 🥰❤

Year 855 (Age 0)

Mid is born. Her parents are very young and don't have a lot of money. They are not ready to be parents and don't have a lot of resources, so they abandon her in a forest.

Fortunately, Cid quickly finds her and adopts her and brings her with him to Waloed, where he was already Lord Commander for Barnabas Tharmr.

Cid is her official father figure, her official parental figure, but she also considers Benedikta as a mother figure. More details about their relationship here.

Year 856-866 (Age 1-11)

She is a genius and learns everything very quicky.

She's able to read books on her own at a very young age, but it's also thanks to Cid, Benedikta and sometimes Sleipnir who did with with her.

She also starts showing an interest for ship there because she's impressed by all she's seeing.

She spends a lot of time playing with the horses (hi Sleip) and taking care of them. It's relaxing for her.

860 (Age 5): The Night of Flames happens. Just putting this here because it's an important part of the game's canon.

Year 867 (Age 12)

Cid abandons his position as a Lord Commander, and Mid leaves Waloed with him.

This is also the year she starts showing actual interests for engineering, thanks to Cid.

She meets Otto, Cid's old friend he hadn't seen in years because of his work in Waloed.

Year 869 (Age 14)

Cid and her officially move to the Hideaway.

She starts working on some ship plans and builds her first inventions.

The first thing she builds on her own is something to listen to music because it helps her relax and feel more grounded.

Year 871 (Age 16)

Mid starts studying at Kanver University, but comes back to the Hideaway from time to time because it's her family now.

She also uses Kanver's workshop a lot to refine her engineering skills.

Year 873 (Age 18)

The first part of the game takes place.

Both Cid and Benedikta die while Mid is still at Kanver. It makes her start to be afraid of getting close to people just to lose them.

She meets Clive for the first time this year because she quickly comes back to the Hideaway at the second she heard the news about Cid.

Year 874 (Age 19)

She starts officially working on the Enterprise ship because to her it's like a tribute to Cid.

Year 878 (Age 23)

The second part of the game takes place.

She officially stops studying at Kanver because she prefers to be useful to the Hideaway and to Cid's mission, through Clive.

She finishes the Enterprise thanks to Lord Byron donations.

Once he's dropped Mobius off at a jetski repair centre and a large bottle of single-malt Talisker at 177A Bleecker Street, he decides to go for a quiet walk in some serene and peaceful woodlands to clear his head.

About ten minutes in, something collides hard with his ribcage, sending him flying into a tree, and a strange wet, hairy, scratchy object is pressed hard against his neck. After a few seconds' disorientation, Loki realises the object is Thor's tear-streaked face, because big bro was having a bad mental health wobble and is so damn happy to see some version of his pain-in-the-bum sibling again

While re watching ROTT, it made me think of my ocs and what would happen to them. 

Ruby and Milo would stay behind with Dictatious. 

Hugo would go with Douxie, Aaarrrgghh, and Nomura. I don’t think he would make it.

Jess would go with Blinky, Claire, Archie and the Charlemagne. She would barely escape with Blinky and Claire. 

Sasha would go with Jim, Aja, Toby, Strickler, and Barbara. She would make it. 

When the family meet up with each other Aaarrrgghh gives them the bad news about Hugo. The loss of Hugo will be a hard hit for everyone. Especially Ruby. 

Jess would want revenge but Sasha and Dictatious would have to talk her out of it. Jess would have her doubts about Jim.

Emmet:

In the main (true time line) Emmet has a bad right eye after he neglected himself during Ingo’s dissapearance and failed to avoid a stray electric attack in the battle subway , it’s extremely minor but left his eye a few shade lighter and the muscles constantly twitching.

His vision also tends to blur from time to time randomly but besides that a minor inconvenience for him, Emmet usually wears a gold monocle to cover it up as the twitching unnerves people.

One his coat he wears black roman numerals that are extremely forgotten ancient form of numbers.

Ingo:

In the (Role reversal Timeline) mirroring Emmet , When Ingo’s brother went missing he also neglected his safety in the battle subway especially as he wanted to activately search for his brother but was forced to attend his Subway duties and being distraught and distracted he got a worse injury then (main timeline) Emmet , he revived a stray fire attack to his eye , doctors were amazed the damage was minimal at best but unfortunately left a scar and leaving him pretty much blind in that eye.

Doctors say it’s a 3.09% chance out of 50 to ever get his sight back.

Ingo wears a silver monocle mirroring (main timeline Emmet) over his bad eye as he feels a bit self conscious when people stare at his scar.

On his coat to further mirror the main timeline Ingo has white roman numerals of ancient numbers .

Ok no I do have to make it it’s own post bc I don’t remember the book’s scene in detail but Annabeth seeing the fates cut a string at the arch is so fascinating. Bc we know that’s Luke’s string. He’s not dying soon, but it’s been decided when he will die.

The moment the fates decide that Luke will die and when is right after Percy sacrifices himself. Right after he shows Annabeth his care and loyalty. That she is worth saving. That she doesn’t deserve the wrath intended for her. A set of dominoes has just been toppled and when they all finally fall, she will stand between Luke and Percy and choose Percy. From this moment, from this early on, Luke’s fate is sealed.

“I just debriefed Skye and Kiara,” Morpheus informed Ren as he sat across from her in the team room. “Are you alright?”

Ren nodded, wincing a little at the tenderness in her shoulder from where the strong woman’s fingers had dug into her metal skin. She set the pen down on top of the small mountain of paperwork in front of her, asking her to explain and examine the mission and where there had been … unexpected occurrences.

“The healers took a look at my arm. They repaired some minute muscle damage that I retained from an injury while I was shifted,” she explained tiredly. “It’ll be fine, I just need to take it easy for a day or two before Price looks at it to be sure there’s no permanent issues.”

The dream walker’s warm brown eyes bore into her. “Kiara said Lilian was there.”

“I didn’t see her. Skye and I encountered the strong woman around the same time Kiara reported Lilian and the ghost were in a separate wing,” the shapeshifter reported as she pushed her hair out of her face. “Kiara said Lily warned her we were in danger – not outright, but heavily implied.”

Morpheus groaned. “She and Skye are already convinced she’s not fully with Vance. That isn’t going to help.”

“I don’t know what to think about that,” Ren answered, leaning back in her chair.

Kiara had shown up at the right time, with Skye unconscious and Ren beginning to falter against the strong woman. Ren had been caught in her opponent’s grip when the dark tendrils had slammed the harem member to the wall. There had been a burst of light in her vision as her head hit the wall, but she’d shaken it off and drove her lead foot into the strong woman’s ribs.

If the ghost hadn’t shown up, they might have caught at least one of Vance’s inner circle.

Just as Kiara was certain Lilian was protecting them, Ren was sure that she’d told the ghost about the shadow walker’s approach.

It could be the telepath balancing her loyalties, running interference between the two teams.

It could also be their imagination.

“I want to believe that they’re right,” Ren sighed. “So damn much, I want to. But …”

“You think it’s dangerous,” Morpheus supplied.

“You worked with Vance – do you think he’s going to allow that kind of ambiguity?” She retorted, picking up the pen and flipping it between her fingers. She met Thomas’s eyes. “Even if we all want to believe Lilian is still on our side, Skye and Kiara are going to get hurt proving it.

What's K.O. CRISIS?

Hey all. Over the past couple months, I've gotten a lot of followers who probably don't know about my OCs and portfolio projects that I'm also working on, so I'm making a quick master-post for it!

K.O. CRISIS is a series of artwork––character designs, illustrations, sketches, and animations––inspired by late-90s/early-2000s anime and Y2K culture.

Set in an alternate-history Los Angeles in the year 2001, the story follows disabled Taiwanese-American Ashley Tang as she fights her way to the top of the bracket in the national augmented boxing championship.

As the youngest female fighter in the championship, she'll have to fight tooth-and-nail to defend her place amongst the heavy-weights. While her rare dual arm prosthetics help even the playing fields, it'll take more than brute strength to prove her worth.

But this isn't a story about an underdog triumphing against all odds. Throughout the story, Ashley will push herself to the limit for the sake of validating her existence under the grinding heel of the sports media machine, in a world that values disabled bodies more than their lives. As the championship rages on, one question seems to linger through the roar: Is Ash strong enough to win, or is she brave enough to quit?

Through the project, I'm hoping to explore representations of prosthetic-users in pop culture as "enhanced superheroes," as well as discussions of trans-humanism under medical capitalism, the fetishization of new technology, and the commodification of disabled people as entertainment.

Accompanying her journey include characters like Noora Balakrishnan, a local transfem prosthetics engineer who doubles as Ashley's ringside mechanical cutwoman.

The project is still in its early stages, especially since I sorta rebooted it earlier this year (meaning I'm no longer using past, outdated art for the project). If you enjoy it, you can find more artwork for the project under the #ko crisis tag!
