❝
Oh, you know how much it hurts
Every time you say you hate me
But when we're makin' love, you make it worth it
Can't believe the places that you take me
There's no use, we were made to break
I know the truth, and it's much too lateYou're perfectly wrong for me
And that's why it's so hard to leave
❞
lyrics: Shawn Mendes, perfectly wrong ♡

Música [trailer]
Coming-of-age love story that follows an aspiring creator with synesthesia, who must come to terms with an uncertain future, while navigating the pressures of love, family, and his Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey.
The story is thin. Very thin. What saves it and still makes it an entertaining watch are the visual inventiveness and the rhythmic interludes. That lead actor and director Rudy Mancuso has synesthesia certainly adds a realistic level.
The question why Haley wanted to be with him, and Rudy's inability to make a decision are still a drag.
An alternative title would be: Stomp, the movie.

Movie Review ~ Música
