Campfires create a warm atmosphere, but Minecraft's soul campfires, with unseen users and spooky mobs like Piglins, seem quite the opposite.
Is there an entity that enjoys this setting?
I wonder what emotions the overworld inspires to Nether dwellers? Reality filtered through their lens. A lifetime spent hearing about water from the mouths of creatures who burn at the touch of it, how would you conceive an ocean? With no weather or gentle rain, how would the description of a storm be heard? In a world sheltered by cavern walls and ceilings, how would you view the stars? The sun? The everwatching moon? A limitless sky bounding always-onward can feel just like drowning, when claustrophobia is your mother tongue.
i have this old village abt 2k blocks away that i first made my trading bench, its still a work in progress village that i should ipck up again one day bc i really want this entire area to be filled. but i have this 1 carrot villager there there i named betsy. and i know its all ai and weird path finding but SHE'S SO MOODY!!!!!!!!!!!! there was a time where she would NOT refresh her trades even though she was constantly at her workbench, for like weeks!!! (i then realised that some other fucker had taken her workbench and thats why she didnt refresh) and now i go back after a while and i go look for her bc i have carrots to trade! and SHE'S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. i wait untill nighttime so i can go around the houses and lurk like a creep where everyone is sleeping. once again i dont FIND HER. and then the next morning i'm like... oh no my girl betsy is missing.. ): AND SHE SHOWS UP. she has an attitude and i love her
its fun to pretend they have personalities
anyway heres sammy and cassandra who i get campfires from lmao
