Just out here doing my favorite things (playing in the snow and hanging out with my dog).

We’re in a bit of a warm stretch but I hope the white stuff starts falling again soon.

Bad things happen in 3s and I was waiting for that third bad thing. Well it happened and things have been ok since. Slowly recovering from a really tough two-ish months. But things are looking up.

My stepmom is coming for Christmas, she’s never been to this beautiful state i now call home. I have a whole week planned and I’m really excited to spend this time with her. She’s going to drive me crazy after 2hours but it’ll be great.

Sometimes I feel like I’m barely hanging in there. But then I look around and I have my pets, I have s and my best friends, I get to enjoy regular sunny and snowy days in the mountains. It’s really not so bad.

when i rewatch the terror, i spend the last couple of episodes just going "why would i ever do this to myself this hurts too much to watch i can't do this again," but then about 12 hours after i finish the finale i'm like "can i watch the terror again?"

keep needles parallel to your leg when sewing on pants you are wearing and if possible pinch the section for the running stitch and stab thru the sandwich so no chance of stabbing urself

to get fabric to not move in both directions put stiches or pins in both directions which ended up making kind of a |_|- - |_| pattern

also- french knots are not for tying off and finishing something

s and I went on a mini road trip and explored a new part of this amazing state. And I’m in love. With s ofc for planning most of this out, but also obsessed with the little mountain towns we drove through, the quiet life of hiking and taking in amazing views. We both have this long term goal of buying a house in the mountains, and I think it’s doable, not now, not next year, but we’re slowly inching closer to that dream.

This lake was the most unreal shade of blue, we caught the solar eclipse on the way up, and peak fall foliage on the way down. A perfect hike.
