Surprise~ I cosplayed my Nelf Priest Nealani... well... sort of.

It’s not a full cosplay yet. I’ve been working on it for like 2 years now, but eventually it’ll be a full fit and I can debut her at my local ren faire!

Hopefully it’ll be 2023. I’ve got some white out contacts and after cosplaying my Dunmer oc this year, I’m much more confident in my face painting skills.

The only thing really left for Nea is her outfit and making some sort of second skin to make my hands/arms/chest purple without having to cover them with body paint too. I’ll have all that eventually, but for now, I’m happy where the cosplay is currently ^_^

Young Lenadis and Young Nealani dynamic!

This is about the age they are in the beginning of my comic, Equilibria... basically in their early 100s! While Len has left Kalimdor a few times here and there, he is fairly content to stay in Ashenvale too, for long chunks of time. Nea on the otherhand had not ever left the forests ever...

Lenadis is a reckless and quick thinking guy who gets a little too hyped in a fight, while Nea is quite cautious and slow to engage in any conflict. What a pair.

Two WIPs!

The first one is Aeleon and Karliah (who belongs to @babycryptidart ). I don’t want to spoil everything, but I can’t stop drawing them 😭😭😭😭 And yes, it’s sideways lol I just screenshot it the way it was as I was working on it.

The second drawing is Nealani’s mother, Stelladaris. I’ll just copy/pasta what I wrote on the instagram post: She is a holy priestess of Elune and helped Nea learn almost everything she knows. Alhough, she was not up to accepting the role of being Nea's official mentor (or Do). She has, in a sense, retired from priesthood and no longer practices after having a horrific experience with her husband dying. But that was a very long time ago and now she spends her time like many of her Kaldorei male counterparts, taking care of neighborhood children and being something of an 'aunty' to them. Anyway, this is a drawing of her much younger, probably before Nea was born, worshiping her goddess.

"Love may steal the heart, but death steals the pulse." Nealani is a kind and caring Night Elf priest, in between the light and dark sides of the moon. In a struggle to find her place, she embarks on her first journey outside the ancient forests she's always called home. Loyally by her side is the cheeky Lenadis, a Night Elf rogue and a friend since childhood. Together the adventures never seem to stop....for a while.

Nea quickly realizes that Azeroth isn't quite as benevolent as she always dreamed it'd be. War and anxiety begin to unravel life as they've known it, forcing a rift between the duo. Yet, despite being rocked to her core, Nealani refuses to give up. Can she find the strength to fight for what she believes in, working in between Light and Shadow, or will she be forced to let go and choose a side?

--Inspired by the game World of Warcraft, owned by Blizzard Entertainment. Set in a post-Lich King era.---

I started this comic about 8 months ago and have been working nonstop on it. I did like 18 pages and ran out on my buffer and then decided to rearrange some parts, soooo even though most of chapter 1 is posted to Tapas and Deviantart, it is on hiatus. BUT It won’t be for much longer!! This is by far, the biggest project I’ve ever taken on and I am determined to finish it and not let ADHD get the best of me in this. It’s the most complete story I’ve ever worked on at least, so that’s good news lol

I am debating if I should post the pages here. The ones I already had posted pre-hiatus. 🤔 I think I might.

While she is focused on keeping things nice and peaceful, many years of her younger life, she trained as a Beast Master Hunter. She can hold her own in a fight, but would prefer not to. Powers/Attacks: Words of wisdom and knowing when to step out of a a situation. Weapons: Unlike most BM Hunters, while Eyona does have an ethical menagerie of pets and animal companions to assist her in battle, she choses to not train them for such use. She loves animals (and everyone) far too much to weaponize the poor creatures. Fighting Style: Wisdom and love.

~APPEARANCE~

Eyes: Moonlight white. Hair color: A deep ocean teal. Hair style: Long (to her lower back/butt) and usually secured in a long braid with strands that hang by her ears. Height: 7ft4in Build: Lean and athletic.

~ AESTHETICS ~

General:

~BACKSTORY AND PERSONALITY~

Eyona grew up in a normal life, as normal as any Kaldorei would have. When it came time for her to chose a profession, she knew she wanted to work with animals. Encouraged by her family, she began to study under a Do (mentor) who was an expert Beast Master Hunter.

Learning the ways of the trade, Eyona quickly realized this was not the life she wanted to live. While she loved animals and wanted to be with them every second of every day, she couldn’t live with the thought of training them as living weapons. After saving a wounded saber and her cub, Eyona vowed never to hurt another animal or train them to hurt again. Taking refuge in a small cabin, she built more and more onto it, adding more space for her animals she found which needed a place to stay and healing. Eventually her small cabin turned into a cozy animal sanctuary.

During her time of awakening, Eyona also discovered her love of and knack for playing music. She found an antique daegeum at a small shop and, entranced by it’s intricate and seemingly ancient elven carvings, she knew it was her destiny to play.

Soon she learned that its sweet sound had a calming and tranquil effect on the animals she was taking care of. After a few priests heard her playing to deer by a moonwell, they offered her the chance to play during rituals with other musicians. Graciously, she accepted and ended up connecting to a young, novice priest named Nealani who was looking for her very own Do.

The two became quite close, like sisters, and Nea began to practice healing on many of the wounded animals Eyona would sooth and take care of in her sanctuary.

Opposed to wars in general and the ideas of division and segregation, Eyona is against the faction constructs and racial tensions. She believes the more “progress” is made, the further and further the world goes into darkness.

~COMBAT/BATTLE INFO~

Experience: Moderate. She has experience in battle, but mostly defensive. She does okay on her own, but usually fights along side her best friend and travel partner, Lenadis. She is better with one vs one or fighting from a distance. Powers/Attacks: Spells from Elune and her Light. Nea is powerful but quite clumsy and tends to have an issue with focus and paying attention. May pull the attention of more enemies than intended and cannot always control how hard or soft she hits or her aim. But she is a heavy hitter and can do a lot of damage. Weapons: Blessed staff and the power of Elune. Fighting Style: Ranged.

~APPEARANCE~

Eyes: Glowing white with blue undertones. Hair color: Dark purple and navy blue Hair texture: Curls Hair style: Usually down with bangs she straightens out. Other styles include curly pigtails and half up/half down. Occasionally will do twin braids. Sometimes dyes her hair usually black and blue and u sutips or streaks. Height: 7ft1in Build: Average (gains weight in hips and thighs)

~ AESTHETICS ~

General:

Fashion style/aesthetic: Flowy styles and fitted silhouettes. Purples, silvers, blues, golds, greys, and pinks. Usually dresses more conservative than other Kaldorei but not always. Also hates wearing shoes (especially indoors).

~BACKSTORY AND PERSONALITY~

Like most Kaldorei, Nea was sheltered and kept home as a child and as she grew up. Just after she had received her marks, Nea expressed the desire to venture out into the world and go beyond the forests of Ashenvale. She wanted to gain more experience as a Priestess and learn the ways of the world, but clearly her powers and savvy weren’t up to par for this to be realistic.

In an agreement with her mother to ensure safety, Nea finally set off on her journey, traveling with Lenadis, a rogue and childhood friend of sorts. The pair develop a symbiotic relationship and a routine for combat: she taunts and pulls them, he directly attacks melee style, she heals him (and herself) and defends them with area-affecting spells. In theory this usually works, but due to their often opposing natures and personalities, the pair often clash.

Still, they became and remain the best of friends and Nea begins to learns that the world is much different than she could have ever imagined.

Kindhearted and gentle, Nea does has a streak of what can only be described as arrogance and decisiveness when it comes to her faith and all matters moral. Still, she tries to be as kind as she possibly can and she sees people as people, no matter their creed, beliefs, faction, religion, or race.

Timid and a bit aloof, Lenadis finds it annoying sometimes when Nea does not just speak her mind and bar the rest. He feels she holds on to too much and is too afraid of what others might think of her. She admits he is right, and she knows she is a people pleaser who cannot stand to upset or offend others.

But she does try her best to speak up in situations where she knows she has to.
