this but in an iteration where anakin is apprenticed to qui-gon and ahsoka becomes obi-wan’s apprentice but she’s idk so good at messing with time she makes herself anakin’s age or something lmao and she is hypersensitive to any sign that anakin is getting weird about obi-wan or vice versa….when anakin says something about how his master’s old padawan is probably the BEST at saber training and also the prettiest maybe in the order, Ahsoka screws up her courage to seduce her master even if it’ll ruin her relationship with both of them….only to be summarily rejected because of the age difference that stupid fucking liar!!!!

You know what this series got me wanting? Mandalorian-Jedi AU where Ezra is suddenly a little brother when Ahsoka comes back to the temple one day with Sabine all ‘she’s not force sensitive but she’s awesome and bit Master Krell really good so I like her’ and Hera, the temple pilot who’s dating Caleb Dume is all ‘that’s a good one can I adopt that one???’ And doesn’t wait for an answer before that’s her new baby and now Ezra is a baby brother and had someone to run off to whenever a new litter of lothkittens are born.

Okay so

Star Wars time travel AU but make it Qui-Gon “Will of the Force” Jinn

Now, Qui has seen and done a lot since he died. Becoming a force ghost will do that to you.

But time travel is a new one for him, he’ll admit that.

There are no questions of “should I change everything” because clearly the force sent him back and therefore the Will Of The Force is to yeet out the canon timeline with extreme prejudice

And gets ready to go and everything

Then he sees Obi-Wan (who is approximately A Baby™ and far cuter than he remembers)

And he sees himself (who is exactly as big of a jerk as he remembers)

And well

That’s his (really far too adorably cute with big round eyes) padawan see

And since they’re right there clearly the force means for him to punch himself in the face and take his new/old/super baby padawan off on cool space adventures while saving the galaxy

What could go wrong??

I'm still thinking about Ahsoka training Sabine and and the fact that it apparently didn't work out, and I cannot help but wonder if it just didn't work out because they both have strong personalities and complicated relationships with authority

I wonder if it ground to a halt after 6 months because Sabine just could not get the work done under Ahsoka's guidance because they just weren't a good fit. Like when you have a therapist you just struggle to work with

And Ahsoka's got her own issues. She didn't complete her own training, and trying to train Sabine probably means confronting some of those feelings about Anakin

Like this breakdown in their relationship and Sabine's apprenticeship had nothing to do with Sabine not being force sensitive or suited to training, and everything to do with them not being a good fit and eachs unaddressed trauma

Why Palpatine LOVED Anakin’s Mechanical Arm

In the novelization of ROTS Dooku said to Sidious how he was disgusted by Anakin´s mechanical arm, he was revolted at the idea of recruiting an ally who wasn´t entirely human, comparing Anakin to general Grievous. To Dooku´s surprise Sidious replied that Anakin´s mechanical arm was exactly what made him the perfect man for their plans. He saw Anakin´s arm as a permanent symbol of the sacrifices he had to make for peace and justice. That arm was a badge of heroism that Anakin had to publicy wear for the rest of his life, forcing everyone to look at him and see his honor, courage and integrity. Sidious said that Anakin was perfect just the way he was.
