Oh yeah, I have a rat blog XD

It’s been about a year now, I know I didnt post much on this blog after a while, but honestly I think I made the blog because I was just really excited to get rats, and when I finally got them I was much more satisfied with just enjoying their company and raising them than sharing them on social media haha. After two wonderful years with the boys, they both passed away in May of this year. Surprisingly Duncan was the first to go, he was always more spry and wily than Domino, but alas the poor boy had complications and passed quite suddenly, and Domino wasn’t far behind having already been doing poorly for a while with his lame leg. I decided not to get more rats for the time being, I’m very grateful for the company they provided during those crazy covid days, they were the best rats I could ask for, and I only wish I could have had just a bit more time with them~

I’ll start sharing some photos I have of them on this blog, I dont have many cuz my room was too dark to get good photos most of the time haha. And then I might post some of my rat art from when I did ratober a few years ago, and then idk! Might let the blog sit and collect dust until I get a chance to raise more rats in the future, we’ll see~ Thanks for hanging out with me ^^ Hope you all have a lovely thanksgiving day, and be thankful for all the lovely ratties in our lives~

I used to really enjoy October because She-ratober/Catratober. Not this year though. This year it is marred by the main prompt list being led by ilikeyoucatradora, two artists with some truly despicable AUs in their treatment of Catra--SA, drug addiction, colonization. I hate that these artists remain so popular and are supported in the SPOP fandom 😔
