Do you like Stanford Pines or Gravity Falls deleted scenes (or both)? Well, do I have a treat for you! Back in August, Gravity Falls storyboard artist S. H. Cotugno shared some NEVER BEFORE SEEN deleted scenes from A Tale of Two Stans over on Tik Tok! These include Ford encountering mermaids and a mysterious traffic light creature!
Link to the Tik Tok Post
I also posted the boards on Imgur
Even in 2023, we're getting new Gravity Falls content in the form of deleted scenes!

Hey everyone,
So awhile back it was announced that S. H. Cotugno ( @arythusa ) had secured a 3 part book deal to have their webcomic, The Glass Scientists made into graphic novels the first of which comes out on the 3rd October 2023 and is now available for pre-order. Link in the tweet above.
Some of S. H. Cotugno’s previous credits include being a storyboard artist on Gravity Falls and a storyboard artist and director on SVTFOE and The Owl House.
You can check out their webcomic, The Glass Scientists rather easily via visiting their blog here on Tumblr, @arythusa
I’m not being paid to do this. I’m just a fan of S. H. Cotugno from my days back in the SVTFOE fandom so just thought I’d mention it. I’m still waiting for the day they finally have the creator credit on a show 😊

Heyo! Guess what gem I found at my local bookstore…
Tumblr media
This is honestly one of my most favorite comic series of all time, the fantasy elements and the sci fi mixed is honestly just so cool and the art is absolutely beautiful!! Like the colors, holy moly dude
The characters are actually really realistic (Jasper my beloved) Well, as far as being a neoalchemist, or a werewolf and stuff is realistic - but somehow Sage manages to do it) and their dynamics are absolute gold (I love Rachel and Hyde being besties it’s honestly so good even if Hyde’s kind of an ass most of the time)
I myself (unfortunately) only divorced The Glass Scientists in like November of last year and when I saw that the physical copy was released I was like “wow I gotta order it!” And then I went to the comic-bookstore and GUESS WHAT
Basically what I’m trying to say is please check out The Glass Scientists by Sage Cotugno and please buy the physical book, and please check your very own local bookstore because it might just be there! (Trust me, if it was in like basically the only proper comic bookstore in my country, it will be in yours, and if it isn’t, you can always order it - https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/702473/the-glass-scientists-volume-one-by-s-h-cotugno/ or at least check out the webcomic :) https://www.theglassscientists.com )
Here’s a bonus pic when I also found it in the bookstore in Thailand! The gay pseudoscientists are invading hehehe…

💬 Happy #ShelfieSunday! How are you spending your day? . Thank you to @sourcebooksfire for gifting me this copy of THE SUMMER OF BROKEN RULES by @klwalther9! This sounds so cute!! Meredith Fox has been going to Martha's Vineyard for the summer as long as she can remember. But this summer is the first one back since the death of Meredith's sister. 'Kill me now'! Meet the WaPo writer who's proudly raising her cats 'gender-neutral'
I raised my shark gender neutral and now he's just jumping everywhere. https://t.co/z9W4SBRpog

Welcome to 2016:
A serious discussion about gender neutrality and how to label your cats. https://t.co/NlHAWPzjjb
— Colby Itkowitz (@ColbyItkowitz) April 5, 2016
This is a very serious discussion. One might even say it’s thuper-therial.
What on earth. https://t.co/83SN8TC87G

Wait, wait! Just hear her out! The Post’sLauren R. Taylorwrites:
The cats lives wouldnt change, I reasoned, and it would help me learn to use plural pronouns for my friends, neighbors and colleagues who individually go by they, their and them. Even though using they, them and their as singular pronouns grates on many people because its grammatically incorrect, it seems to be the most popular solution to the question of how to identify people without requiring them to conform to the gender binary of female and male. It also just feels right to refer to people as they wish to be referred to.
Around the house, with just me, Essence and Trouble named for Rare Essence and Trouble Funk, for the DC music lovers reading this things were pretty easy. Id make a mistake (called misgendering), saying something like Wheres your brother? (Yes, I talk to my cats.) Usually, Id remember to fix it (Wheres your sibling? or Wheres your pal?). Just as Id hoped, I began finding it easier to remember to use gender-neutral language for the humans in my life.
And I began to get an infinitesimal taste of what transgender and gender-nonconforming people face. Im not talking about the outright bigotry and hatred something I cant know without being in their shoes but the complete cluelessness. Friends would come over, Id introduce the cats and their pronouns, and some would ask, But what ARE they? Some would randomly use he and she. Some would stumble, unable to form a sentence when talking about one of the cats.
Believe it or not, there’s more. But we’ll let you discover the remaining magic for yourself.
Just no. https://t.co/VvmzjFv4JU

Who needs children when you’ve got gender-neutral fur babies?
Peak cat lady? Remember the imp. things in troubled times, like the need to address cats by gender-neutral pronouns. https://t.co/vM2IZxu7AY
