I think it's a good thing I been posting my crochets for as long as I have been with various angles and stages of finish and with me holding them and whatever because I feel like if I had only recently started and tried going for a more refined(??) approach to photographing them, at least one person would be like "ai 😒😒" fjsjfjskaojfjfsk

The funny thing about Ryuki is that he'll do the half might thing and everyone else is like are you okay mentally, and I'm like nah that's normal this is how everyone in my family communicates it's fine.
I mean obviously he's not doing okay for several reasons, but that's separate from the half might thing

Someone asked me whether I could try out an ai generated knitting pattern of a teddy bear and a bunny. As expected, the patterns were utter shite and here are the results:
They're so bad

there’s a lot of things that bother me about the ai generated art thing and i definitely don’t have anything new to say about it but one thing that does get to me is this attitude of ai people who see the use of ai art as this like….triumphant, smug uprising against those selfish, greedy artists who have squirreled away the Secret Talents of art and how only a Select Blessed Few could make art but no more! now we can ALL make art! when it’s like—art is everywhere. it is so intrinsically human to make art; it is a communal tool. it’s not something you magically become good at, it’s not something you are just born with the ability to do, it’s the simple act of creating with your own hands. the steps it takes to make art is art. every step of improving yourself is art. everyone can all make art without the use of ai; there is no such thing as ‘reclaiming’ art from artists because the potential for art is in everyone.
