Not an odd question at all! In Stitch and Ani, the events of Stitch and Ai did kind of happen (except Stitch is not secretly holding some huge monster ability in his DNA), but they happened during the time Lilo was still a child. Ai and Lilo are around the same age, give or take a few years’ difference. In Stitch and Ani, it’s canon that Stitch was in China with Ai for about a year (maybe less) when Lilo was a kid, because aliens did kidnap him thinking he could be used as a secret weapon, and he did get separated from Lilo for a while, but eventually he, Jumba, and Pleakley all got reunited with Lilo and returned to Kauai. It didn’t last long! After that, Ai kept in touch for a year or two. Then they all drifted apart naturally. Still, it was nice that someone was there to help Stitch when he got separated from Lilo and his one true place for a little while!

Anyway, that was years ago at the time of Stitch and Ani. Ai is never really mentioned, and Ani has never met her and Ai is sadly nobody’s pen pal. Some people just come in to your life for a short time and that’s all!

but yeah, we keep Stitch and Ai in our fancanon because it’s a lot truer to the original series/movies than the anime and we like it better 👉👈

I actually like Stitch and Ai not gonna lie. It's an underrated series with a beautiful art style and with some of the coolest experiments ever even if it was only 13 episodes long. Since I redesigned the Metamorphosis Program Stitch from the series for Stitch month this year, I decided to return to Stitch and Ai and give the other experiments they love they deserve. I drew most of the awesomely dope Chinese experiments from the series as well as throwing in the shaper shifter alien Scratch as a bonus.

So how does Yuna and Ai appear in your headcanon fanfic? Do they exist or...?

Doverstar The answer to this has been posted many times if you look through the 'asked' tag in the blog. Yuna is not mentioned and does not appear in this headcanon, and Ai is canon in this headcanon, but the events of Stitch and Ai happened back when Lilo was still a kid, and Ai is also never mentioned, nor does she appear in this headcanon.

I did something different for Stitch day back in June. I redesigned the Metamorphosis Program/Destructive form Stitch from the Stitch and Ai spinoff series. The story was interesting and I love the Chinese myth inspired experiments, but the Stitch form was a bit too plain in my opinion despite it catching my eyes while researching the show. With this redesign, Stitch is in full alien mode and has a third eye on his forehead. Enjoy!
