My pieces for the @bg3bigbang , for @norangutan 's AMAZING shadowzel fic! Go read it here!
Funny How True Colours Shine (13144 words) by proxybird, Norangutan
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Baldur's Gate (Video Games)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: Graphic Depictions Of Violence
Relationships: Lae'zel/Shadowheart (Baldur's Gate)
Characters: Lae'zel (Baldur's Gate), Shadowheart (Baldur's Gate), Tav (Baldur's Gate)
Additional Tags: Murder Wives, only one bed(roll), fighting back to back, Happy Ending, I
Summary:
Lae'zel is slowly realizing that there really was no heterosexual explanation for the knife held to her throat the other night in camp, but, frustratingly, Shadowheart is in complete denial. Even more frustratingly, none of this matters because they have to work together to get out of the Underdark, through a Sharran temple, and back to Tav. Good luck.

The four chaos champions: Abaddon, Ahriman, Doomrider and Cypher.
Not gonna lie, I can work with this (but first I need to read who the fuck Doomrider is 😂)
... There is no heterosexual explanation for this:

Krycek is such a good antagonist because we never quite learn what exactly his real motivation is. I will accept any and all explanations ranging from "wants to advance to Big Bad Crime Boss" over "trying to assert his masculinity through aggression (for fear of not conforming to the standards of normative heterosexuality)" to "praise kink (good boy! such a good job with that murder!)"

Vizzy is way closer to becoming canon than you think.
Lizzy is the only character to compliment V to her face AND one of the very few to call her out on her BS, healthy communication!
"On second thought, you're way hotter than Doll, RUN IDIOT!" remains as one of my favorite quotes to this very day.
V seems to see Lizzy as an equal
They're often seen sitting next to each other with the other drones below them, including N, speaking of witch-
They are very close in episode 5
They share a canoe ride together. While making everybody else carry it. I don't know what else to say.
Lizzy is the first drone V actively chose to save
She won't admit it but that save was very intentional. If she really wanted to just kill Uzi it would've been easier, HELL, it would've been advantageous to let Lizzy die.
This fucking smile
There is no heterosexual explanation for this.
So clearly, Lizzy is important to V in some way or another and it would just make a lot of sense to make them canon... but there is one last thing we (unfortunately) always have to take into account when discussing any non-hetero ships: the balls of the creator.
Does Liam have the balls? As a person of whoms only knowledge of him is Internecion Cube, Cliffside and MD, does he? I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.

I'm still waiting for a rational explanation for this specific part as the episode was wrapping up...
... What was the reason for Byakuya to stop as he was discussing whatever with Seike, (the elderly servant) to turn exactly as Ichigo was crossing the Senkaimon to go back to Karakura?
This is why the Lost Agent Arc has my Byaichi heart in a fucking chokehold!
There's soooo much...
Being warned that Ichigo had arrived in the Soul Society... Anime and Manga versions.

Return
Laudna's mind is blank after the resurrection. There are decades of missing time. She remembers dinner in Whitestone Castle, being given clothes, and then marched out to the Sun Tree. After that it's all a dark blur. And it's been many years since then according to the date, but Laudna can't remember any of it.
There are people here who call themselves her friends and saviours, powerful folk. The Lord and Lady of Whitestone themselves (de Rolos!), the Voice of the Tempest, the Champion of Sarenrae. And there are those more familiar with her, even if she doesn't know their faces. Orym of the Air Ashari, who is kind and caring. Fearne, who laughs and titters, but seems so so relieved that Laudna is back. Chetney, the master craftsman, who is old and wizened, with an enormous heart. Ashton, who seems pained even though they're full of strength. Fresh Cut Grass, this healing automaton that won't stop telling Laudna that she's alive once more.
And Imogen, of course. Sweet attentive Imogen, who is always around, always ready to help Laudna, always with an apology ready on her lips (or in her thoughts) even when there's nothing to be sorry for.
Laudna doesn't know any of these people.
But she has a journal in her own handwriting filled with notes about Imogen's dreams, and in the margins are little tidbits about what Imogen's been wondering about, how Imogen looks, how Imogen's appetite has been, how stressed Imogen's felt lately. Alongside the clinical descriptions of what Imogen sees in her dreams and what those symbols might mean, are mundane anecdotes of their life together.
Laudna doesn't remember Imogen. But her room has a double bed, with someone else's things in it, and Orym says Imogen always shares a room with her. Fearne says Imogen always shares a bed with her. FCG returns a pearl of power to her, says that Imogen took care of Pâté when Laudna couldn't. When she holds the vial around her neck, Chetney says it's blood magic, and that Laudna's and Imogen's blood are mixed in the vial. Laudna's finger has a ring on it, two serpents entwined with a ruby, and Ashton says Imogen gave that ring to her.
And the only reasonable conclusion that Laudna can make, is that there's no heterosexual explanation for this.
