🎬Asami Mizukawa plays Aya, a woman who arrives in Tokyo in her twenties, then grows and changes along with her career and romances through various residential areas in the glittering city.
📝This is an original, heart warming and thought provoking show about people's materialistic obsessions, making mistakes, the grass in greener mentality. It's very good show and I really enjoyed it. It tackles issues about women independence, the pressures they face and the mistakes they make. I think it is definitely worth checking out if you want something different, original and set in a different setting. I enjoyed learning about the different parts of Tokyo.
Pretty rare occasion here for me to have “cocktail time” as I rarely drink. But tonight, I am so excited about our trip to Japan that we are coordinating that I thought I would celebrate 🍸🥃🐶…That would be Husband partaking in whiskey and SPARTA sleeping with his GF. Cheers to the weekend friends 🥂!
I was shocked when I saw Momona in first place last week, because I honestly didn't remember who she was beyond a vague "she was Kokoro's partner for the evaluation round" sort of thing. But I watched her "Tokyo Girl" fancam, and I get it now. I love idols who look like they're having the time of their life while performing, and Momona does that. Tsuzumi's still my #1, but Momona's in the mix.
I hate when people criticize magical girl anime for having long transformation scenes. "so the enemies just wait for them?" have you ever considered that something can be beautiful without needing to serve a purpose or make sense in a literal scenario 💔
