Maybe it's too detailed but i always liked 'the swing' by jean-honoré fragonard for dinluke, with din as the woman swinging toward Luke and maybe away from the armorer or the other mandalorians.
Also I love this project, it's so fun and creative 🥰🥰💖💖
there is something very unrepentantly silly about this, thank you for the prompt!
painted 15 ABY by alderaan's royally sponsored artist, the painting hung in princess leia's office on coruscant for several years
museum title: the swing
alternate title: while exploring an abandoned jedi temple, grogu really wanted to try the swing they found and din wasn't going to say no, this would have been fine except no one told luke they were going to be flying at him from a tree

This is the closest to fantribe territory I will ever get.
Notes below cut
Stormwings, a subtribe that lives semi-independently to Skywings.
They live in iron rich areas but tend to migrate towards higher altitudes after certain periods of time.
They have special organs and scales that allow them to both conduct and store electricity, and to also redirect it. But they also have the tendency to coat their scales with layers of iron in order to better conduct electricity. Typically, it is either done alone or with close family or lovers.
They do contain a lot of Skywing traits, as they are a subspecies, not an entirely different species. But they tend to be far darker in color than Skywings, and are much more heavily scaled. The beak remains but is reinforced.
Individual: Thunderbird
Just an old veteran from the Great Sandwing Succession. After the war he works as the Subtribe's Queen's personal advisor.

Who is your favorite character to draw as of right now? I’m just curious. 👀
Oh, Miguel, 100%! I could draw him all day, every day. A very, very close second though would be Viktor from Arcane.
Idk why, but I absolutely love faces that are pretty striking. Lots of natural contrast, prominent features; dark eyes, dark hair, sharp edges, that sort of thing. It's so satisfying to draw. And I mean, I also love both Miguel and Viktor very much 😌❤️

actually. the specific phrasing that boy Kevin wants to kill older Kevin with "I must disassemble him, piece by piece, so that everything inside of the Old Kevin comes out. Only then can the New Kevin truly begin." is so incredibly the idea that to heal from trauma and "improve" you have to destroy every "wrong" part of yourself, that everything "tainted" by it has to somehow be replaced by something untouched (which isn't possible)

"I saved your life once. You don't have to do this."
"I know," he says, and cuts another slice of fruit to place in her upturned palm. The aristocratic arch of her cheek is softened by the afternoon glow, and here under the sheltering eave of the branches criss-crossed with shadows. He likes to look at her. He's in no hurry. She'll figure it out one day.
"Really, you don't owe me any debt."
The single ox is getting on in years, and every year slower for it, the road to town longer and sprouting more stops. Every third month he shares the ox with his mother: he's been considering giving him to her outright, and buying a new one– well, new for him– new-old– newer than this– he'll miss him, though– but his mother will take care of him, that's all right–
She's refused to ride up on the seat with him, choosing instead to stride beside the wagon, sword perched on her shoulder and wide-brimmed hat pulled down across her brow, for the whole world like a rogue cultivator from his favorite childhood stories. All she's missing is a nasty scar and a stalk of wheat poking out of her mouth.
He hides a smile, so she won't raise her prickles at him. Well, maybe she does have the scar. He's been too polite to check. He wouldn't mind.
"I know," he says.
"Here."
It's a beautiful cloth, silk-of-gold, heavy and tightly woven. It was something else, once, that he can tell as he runs it through his hands; there are holes from unpicked stitching. That's common enough in this part of the world, and it's impolite to ask where it comes from, even if usually everyone in the clutch of farmlands can trace the same scraps of precious textile through generations of repurposing.
She's not from here. She won't meet his eyes– she keeps shifting back and forth on her feet, smoothing the fringe-ends of her hair. This came from the small sack she keeps tucked in the rafters of the barn and never looks at, except when she's very sad, or very angry.
He spreads the cloth out over his knees. "It's lovely," he says. "Thank you. What do you think we should do with it?"
"Why?" She is in front of him, towering over— he's taller than her, usually, but he's sitting and she's standing, and he makes no move to match her, simply tilts his head back at the neck to keep watch.
"Why are you– I don't– you don't need to! Now I'm trying to repay you! Why won't you just take anything?"
"Qingyang," he says, gently, and reaches up a hand.
She figures it out.

Headcanon: When they're around people they're very comfortable with, both Naoto and Kanji will infodump about their interests if it comes up. Naoto would pretty much recite an essay about the history of the murder mystery genre if allowed. Kanji would go on for hours about how to properly clean various types of fabrics.
In addition, the two will happily just chat for long periods of time about random subjects if it overlaps with both of their areas of interest, even if they're discussing different facets. Kanji might know more about the technical or aesthetic aspect of a subject, and Naoto might talk about the history or cultural origin of a subject. They'd both find each other's different perspectives interesting (even if Kanji doesn't understand some of Naoto's vocabulary).
The others in the Investigation Team can't quite keep up the same way that they can and that's fine, but if someone DARES call Naoto's interests stupid, Kanji WILL fight them, and vice versa with Naoto defending Kanji's interests.

I think it's so silly when TB fans are trying to slander the greens, but then immediately go with the "don't bring Daemon into this" line. like if you need to ignore such a prominent character (if not the most prominent after Rhaenyra, who he is integral to her storyline and character) to make you point that the TB is better then TG, then maybe, and think about this for a moment, your argument has little standing... wow, shocker.
"oh but the greens did this this and this" they say, ignoring any and all nuance or context for those events, "the blacks never did anything like that" they say, ignoring the fact that everything they did was almost always worse and/or had no backing or reason (that justifies it to any extent), "and don't even try to 'but daemon' me, I don't wanna hear it." I've seen this argument made more times that I can count, and it never ceases to drive me mental.
also, the wishing for the downfall of an entire family, celebrating their terrible deaths and horrific trauma's all because of aegon. like yeah, the botched show version of him deserves some of the best he's in, he is a rapist no matter how much it doesn't make sense and how much it discredits his whole character. but they take it as justification to just dance on the graves of the whole family, which is like... so fucked in so many ways. one man does not damn a whole house.
like listening to (most) TB fans is just like jamming my ear full of glass. they have no logic, no media literacy, hinge their whole arguments on udder bullshit, (attempt) bully those who disagree into submission (the amount of TB fans I've had because me for being stupid and many other words I do not wish to say, because I had a different opinion then them is insane), and all the while they can't even attempt to sound logical. like they're always missing the point, always simplifying characters cause apparently having complex, layered, morally grey characters is the devil. than TG fans are "the problem with this fandom" like??? hello??? your the one defending Daemon for being... Daemon, the one defending the cold blooded maiming and murder of people all cause they stated a fact, defending robbing girls of their claim to their houses thrones. not the Greens, we may defend our characters, but we don't pretend like it never happened or that it was 'cool' and 'bad ass'.
