Damn if black cats weren't bad omens enough already...

Tiny little moment that happened at the end of last dnd session, my boy almost got dive bombed by a flock of ravens spouting omens of doom and he is STILL NOT AWARE OF THIS FACT bc he was asleep lmao, the party member who was on watch had to step in and stop them. Which leaves me with the question... Did the ravens go for me by pure chance, or were they after me specifically?

Playing around with some Sausage designs, definitely just for fun and not for a project that is making surprisingly good progress considering my track record of leaving things to collect dust. Dunno what you're talking about.

I haven't drawn Sausage much before so I had a lot of fun with it :) most of it's og season 1 Sausage since the other two are based off him and I wanted to have a really strong idea of what I wanted the original to look like before moving on to the others. I also wanted to be able to show that even though they're The Same Guy they're still Different Guys, and I think I pulled it off in a way I'm happy with!

Obviously if this were, in fact, related to a bigger project these would need to be a lot more simplified, but that's what proper ref sheets are for.

Using inktober as motivation to continue work on some worldbuilding for a project I'm working on with a few friends! I'm following the official inktober prompts (mostly) to decide which creatures I should work on each day, since I'm in charge of creatures and fantasy races for our group.

GARGOYLES

Unlike trolls, which occur naturally, gargoyles are animated by enchanters as guardians of buildings or precious items. They are carved from stone and tend to behave more intelligently the more detail they're carved with. As such they are very expensive and rarely utilized. Most gargoyles seen on buildings are non-animated, used for decoration or intimidation.

Although wings are popular features (alongside other draconic traits), gargoyles are much too heavy to fly. However, their powerful legs allow them to leap great distances.

Gargoyles are very difficult to destroy, and will only stop moving when their heads are separated from their bodies.

Different features popular in different regions; can stay completely still for long periods of time and don't require food.
