Marvel/ the DS page just posted on their Facebook page a trailer without text of that scene and it's possibly the best thing ever so uh yeah. I'm not sure if you do requests but I just want to watch it slo-mo over and over and over... :D

It's supposed to be a friendly competition. Best pumpkin carver wins, simple as that. Stephen thought it'd make a nice family tradition. Little did he know, a family like his couldn't have friendly competitions. 

He rubs a hand on his face.

Pumpkin pulp was blasted onto the walls, stuck to the floor, flying in the air and into shouting faces. He sees the cloak in the scene, nearly groaning aloud at having to wash it later. Tony catches his exasperated face, and a sly grin appears. 

The slimy, orange substance hits his face. 

"That's it!" he exclaims, and joins in.

Sorry for the late response on this— my memory is always pretty spotty, so I have trouble recalling good fics to recommend!

I’ll give you a top ten request, how about that? These are all AO3 fics!

End of Infinity by FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls — I feel like if you’re a big shipper of ironstrange, you’ve gotta check out this absolute masterpiece of a fic!! It’s a suuuper slowburn, clocking in at 291+ chapters and still ongoing. Normally, I don’t read fics that aren’t finished, but trust me this one had me sobbing for days. Check out their other works, as well!!

The Blood in Your Veins by Aelaer — Wowowow, this fic absolutely shook me to my core. If you’re okay with some heavy angst, I would 10000% recommend this. Aelaer’s writing is so engaging and the care and understanding they have of Stephen and Tony’s perspectives and motivations are *chef’s kiss* Also, any fic that can actually make me care about the original characters within it? Automatically raises my respect for them.

The Sorcerer of Ephemeral Colors by Imagined — I LOVE FANTASY AUs FOR THIS SHIP!!!! Mage Stephen and Prince Tony go together so fucking well, I could go absolutely insane UGGHH!! This is another big boy fic, but the progression and story-telling, as well as the world-building are done so well!! If you like Fantasy AUs, you’ll love this fic!

(Sober) Companion by funkylittleidiot — It’s been a minute since I read this one, but I was thinking about picking it up again! Another AU fic, this time No Powers with the twist of Stephen helping people recover from their addictions! I wasn’t so sure about the premise at first, but honestly I loved how the author handled the subject matter from what I can remember. Heavy on the Tony angst. I really just love fics where Stephen takes care of Tony =w=;; I think this one is sfw? I really need to reread it 😅

The One to Bet On by airas_story — UGHHHH I LOVE THEIR WORK SO MUCH!!!! This is another fic that’s still ongoing! I am absolutely a SUCKER for time traveler Tony. It is so interesting to see what he does in the past to fix the future, and so far I’m really enjoying where they’re taking the story! Check out their other fics, as well, if you enjoy this one!!

Embers by surveycorpsjean — Idk man this is just a soft fic with these two 🥺💕 Steve and the other Avengers do make an appearance; there’s no character bashing or anything like that, but they don’t take up too much time in the fic! Stephen is just so smitten in this, and I absolutely adore it. Also another author you should check out their other works!

A witch’s cat by harpywrites — TONY GETS STEPHEN A CAT, AND ITS THE CUTEST THING EVER UGGHHH!!! Such a soft, feel-good fic, I absolutely love how Harpy writes Tony here. Seriously, if you just want a quick fic to make you smile, this is the one for you. If you want some heavy Stephen angst, though, check out the rest of Harpy’s works!! She loves to torture the poor sorcerer 💀

dream a little dream of me by DarkKitty1208 — You asked for sfw fics, so I’m not sure how deep angst can get before you call it quits? But if you’re cool with it, I highly recommend this one. Heavy Stephen angst with Tony helping him through his struggles; the imagery in this fic is stunning!!! Kitty has a very good understanding of Stephen and his struggles, so it’s super engaging to see this man trying and failing to cope with his demons! If you want more Stephen angst, check out Kitty’s LIBRARY of fics. Stephen never catches a break istg.

The Affection Thief by airas_story — I’m cheating by including them again on this list, but mostly it’s because I’ve run out of sfw fics 😅 THIS ONE IS SO DAMN CUTE!!!! Stephen gets turned into a cat and shenanigans ensue!! It’s such a simple concept, but the way my heart melted at how they wrote Stephen in this *sobs*

Annnd I’ll cheat for the final one, too.

Prophets in the Graveyard by FriendlyNeighborhoodFangirls — Another Fantasy AU fic because god I can’t get enough of them!!! This time with a murder mystery twist ohohoho! Another long boy with a slowburn because I love to torture myself in the best of ways. Again, this author just handles world-building, pacing, and characterization so so so fucking beautifully in their works. If you haven’t read from them, I beg of you to check out their fics!!

(Honorable Mention: you should absolutely also check out atypicalsnowman’s collection of works. I particularly love their “whatever souls are made of” fic, but it does have eventual smut!! Just seeing how Stephen and Tony would navigate a situation where they use a soul bond to defeat Thanos is ugghh so good.)

It was a quiet day in Kamar-Taj, and a quiet well-deserved after the months of reorganization and chaos that came with half the world reappearing. Things were finally back to the so-called new normal, a world that knew of the Mystic Arts combined with all the people that had come back after so many were feared lost forever.

Wong hadn't thought them lost, not once he learned Stephen's last words, but five years was still a long time. For now, there were many connections to reestablish, which Wong did in what little downtime he had.

But his downtime was short lived. Even as he finished penning the first sentence in his letter, he heard the door open without a knock, which meant it could only be one person. And when Stephen strolled through the door into his office with a smirk plastered across his face, Wong knew that his letter would need to wait. He was certain he wouldn't like whatever came out of Stephen's mouth.

"So when were you going to tell me," Stephen started, a crooked grin sticking through his words, "that you worked at Target?"

Strangesona: Seasonal Atronach

Part 1: Sketch I have been DYING to draw this boy for such a long time and finally, here he is! My Strangesona has been in the works since August of last year and I'm so proud to have finally finished his design. I was debating on if I would actually post him once it was finished, but thanks to the lovely @foxssketching, I decided that I really wanted to. This boy is very, and I mean very, picky about how I show him, and he would not work with me at all for the first hour I tried to sketch him. He kept telling me the pose he wanted was wrong and no matter how hard I tried, he wouldn't explain what he wanted. Finally with the help of @stewardofningishzida, I was able to get him to talk to me and tell me exactly what it was he wanted. After that, he basically just chilled out with me and relaxed until I got done. He had a couple of minor inputs - mostly about his cloak pauldrons and boots - but aside from that he was quiet. I have smelt evergreen for the last four hours and considering that I've caught a bug, it cleared my sinuses and I'm thankful. I'll probably be able to sleep now since I can breathe thanks to him. This is his autumn form, indicated by his "classic" robes, leaves on his antlers and mushrooms. My moonflower - @strangelockd - suggested it when he had me ask her what season she wanted to see him in. So, ta-da! I will upload a profile for him on the finished piece!

So... This ask was sent like, a month or so ago, I don't even think you remember sending it, asker, so I'm sorry for that. Haha >.< But anyway. Thanks for the ask!

14. What is your favorite part of the writing/editing/posting process? 

Oh, fun question!

I love thinking of a word mid-writing that I *hope* fits the sentence, and then search the definition and find out that it *does*. :D

I like writing pieces of dialogue or descriptions that make me go "gasp that was actually good!" or "oh my god I made that! I wrote that!" haha.

Sometimes I would be writing a scene and I'd remember a specific reader and go "Oh they would *love* this!" and that sparks joy.

I actually like fleshing out scenes. Fix the pacing and all that. I love being descriptive.

Loveeee writing inner monologue. Making my blorbos spiral into their own thoughts? Count. Me. In.

I would be insane if I didn't say I love receiving reviews and kudos in my fics. They keep me going. Seriously. Even the incomprehensible babbling and the occasional swarm of crying emojis. <3

15. What is your least favorite part of the writing/editing/posting process? 

Sometimes I embarrass myself by finding tiny mistakes that make big differences. xb Sometimes I catch them before sending it to my beta, sometimes my beta points them out, and other times those mistakes glare at me after I post them, lol. XD 

Proofreading. Is. The. Worst. When it's done, it's done. I usually cannot find the strength to reread the thing again after doing it for like 500 times already. I hate it. I want to get rid of it already. Rereading my own works make me cringe at myself sometimes. XD

Taggggsss. Tags are fun sometimes but they can also be extremely *hard*. I dread it. I have to skim through my work (again!) to ensure I didn't miss any tags or mistagged anything.

I think that covers most of it? Again sorry for the delay!

Very much so, thank you! I've been half-joking for years that I feared I wouldn't make it to the sequel, as Marvel had been dragging its feet terribly--and that was before covid. I had often felt a vague sense of Fate waiting to whammy me before I reached the finish line of actually seeing my beloved Strangebatch on the big screen, in his own movie again. And then yesterday morning, I started feeling a sharpness in my chest, which stunned me because, DAMN, I was only joking all that time, right?

But I calmed myself down and quickly realized that I'd reclined into a half-prone position too soon after eating and it was just *whispers* gas. 😳 Ah, the things Love will make one do, eh?

So, I'm still intact and no need for anyone to figure out the logistics of spreading my ashes on Bleecker Street. I'll be going back for my second serving of Multiverse of Madness in a few hours, and I think I'll probably enjoy it even more because I know what to expect, and my eyes and heart are gonna linger on my favorite Stephen moments. A good many of which involve his interaction with a certain character from the first Doctor Strange.

(I hope that was non-spoilery enough to say out loud. Those that know me and have seen MoM already can probably guess who I mean, quite correctly😉)

♒ - cooking/food headcanon

I think Wong enjoys cooking, particularly if he’s stressed. He’s prefers cooking over baking, though he can still do both. He thinks cooking is more hands-on than baking, therefore more rewarding in a way.

Soup or stew is a favorite of his to both eat and cook, because of how many ways it can be prepared and how easy it is to make a large portion. Cooking for others is also a sort of love language for him. (We often see Wong cooking for Stephen in the comics, though before that was merely because it was his job, but even now in the recent comics it seems he likes taking care of his friends by cooking for them, required of him or not).

While he does enjoy cooking for others, he doesn’t like cooking with others. If you want him to continue cooking for you, then you stay out of his kitchen. With as chaotic as his life is, he wants to be in control where he can, such as in the kitchen.

Wong isn’t necessarily picky about what he eats, but certain dishes need to be done a near perfectly. If his rice is still crunchy on the inside, he won’t like it. If the vegetable:broth ratio in soup is off, he won’t like it.

He doesn’t have much time anymore to cook due to his position, but he still finds time for it, especially if he feels there’s a need to. If Stephen’s hands are acting up, he’ll make sure he eats by preparing him easy to eat, silverware free foods. Say America failed a test, then he would try to comfort her with homemade deserts.

Alright I just wrote a lot more than I thought I could about food 😂
