The words were oops, clever, elbow, forget, and respect, but none of my works have oops or clever in them?? So here, have elbow, forget, and respect.

elbow - from Chapter 3 (May) of “What They Were Fighting For”

Fitz shook his head and heaped some food for him and Jemma to share onto a plate before heading to the fridge. He took a bite of pizza and balanced his plate on one hand, attempting to open the fridge (which he held open with an elbow) and snag two bottles with the other.

Suddenly May was behind him, holding the door for him with an amused look in her eyes. Of course May, of all people, would be the one to catch him in an awkward spot with a mouth full of food.

forget - from “through the years we all will be together (if the fates allow)”

So Fitz could forget for a little while that when they went back to S.H.I.E.L.D. after the holidays, everything would be different. He could forget that Coulson wasn’t the director anymore, which he understood—he did; he got the logic behind it, just as much as Jemma—but it made him more than a little anxious.

(He couldn’t quite forget that Daisy had left—left him, left them, left her family—but he hoped that she was somewhere safe and warm, somewhere she could find some peace, especially tonight.)

respect - from “a fluid, ever-changing, beautiful thing”

Alya Mackenzie Fitzsimmons. Jemma lets the name roll around in her mind. She and Mack haven’t always had the easiest relationship, but she’s let go of her deeply buried resentment toward him (which she wasn’t even aware of until Fitz told her about her shadow self trying to gnaw Mack’s head off in the mind prison). Regardless, she has such respect for him as a person and as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. More than that, she knows how much he means to Fitz. Mack’s been there for him so many times (she resolutely does not think of Mack crouching by a pile of rubble, covered in dust, tears streaming down his face). And she can picture the tears in Mack’s eyes and the grateful smile on his face, if they do have a girl, when they tell him her name. “I think it’s perfect too,” she finally says, squeezing his hand.

The words were laugh, breakfast, snow, cozy, and light. I had two for snow so I thought I would add both since one is a WIP!

laugh- from Chapter 4 of Misunderstandings by Moonlight

Jemma sat on the edge of her bed for a long stretch of time, looking past the dreary wallpaper and straight into her own thoughts as she was custom to do. Upon returning to her room, she had caught sight of the little stem of baby’s breath Fitz had given her before the rehearsal. She had snuck it into her dress as they had entered the study and, upon undressing for the night, had left it on her vanity. Rediscovering the token, Jemma smiled and let out a watery laugh before clutching tightly to the delicate little flower. And, while sitting upon the bed, she refused to put it down.

breakfast- from Chapter 4 of Ten Feet Away

Normally, he wasn’t in a rush to get to work. He would let his alarm go off at least three times before pulling himself out of bed, would take his sweet time making cereal for breakfast, and would be out the door just a tad late as was his custom. But, that morning he had found himself watching the clock, waiting for it to be an appropriate time to leave.

snow- from UNTITLED WIP

Feathers, as white as snow, with the ends dipped in gold. As it hopped about in front of her, its feathers caught the sun rays streaming in through the trees. It looked radiant. That’s when she noticed the eyes. Just like the wolves, the eyes could be nothing but human. They were the most familiar shade of beautiful blue.

When Fitz woke up to find snow falling outside his hotel window his first reaction had been of warm delight. Afterall, waking up to a nice new snowfall was one of the small joys of the winter months and his three days spent stuck in boring lectures on behalf of the company he worked for had made him really appreciate windows. Honestly, whoever had designed the hotel ballroom was either slightly sadistic or had really liked the color beige. So being able to see the world outside a window was wonderful.

cozy- from Chapter 2 of FitzSimmons: A Christmas Carol

Despite the openness of the space, the room felt cozy. The fire to the side of the hall was warm, the railings and window sills were covered in evergreen garland, and the large tree dazzled with cheerful baubles and flickering candle flames.

light- from Chapter 2 of Melinda May's School for Gifted Young Girls

“Guys!” Mack shouted, promptly shutting up the other two. “Fitz, I know you’re struggling to accept it, but we’re in a magical boarding school. And Hunter, the vampire girl is not going to date you.”

Hunter folded his arms petulantly. “Never said I wanted to date her.”

“No, but you were thinking it.”

There were mutters on Hunter’s lips, but another great crash of lightning broke the sky in a bright crack of light. It lit up the sky for a millisecond, but it left the whole house in a blanket of darkness.

Just read Can I Be Close to You, great fic btw. How do you think Sousa could fit into the Fitzskimmons dynamic? Is he in a separate relationship with Daisy or are you open to an OT4 situation? What would that ship name be? Fitzskimmonsousa? Fitzsimdaisel? I just love FitzSimmons and adore Dousy, so combining them could be interesting.

hmm. see, off the top of my head i see them as separate relationships: daisy in a relationship with fitz and jemma, and then daisy also in a relationship with sousa. i don’t have enough poly ships that are disconnected like that, so i feel like it would be fun to explore! also, sousa and jemma as metamours who are partners in “keeping daisy on bed rest” is the funniest thing in the world to me.

ON THE OTHER HAND, i’m intrigued by this ot4 idea! sousa and jemma don’t really have very many canon interactions, and i’m not sure fitz and sousa exchange more than two lines in the finale, so it would take a lot of development, but it would be really cool!

Jemma Simmons (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) - I don't think I need to explain, my blog is already full of praise for her. One of my fav comfort characters. (Fitz too)

Peter Parker (in any universe and medium) - I love him since ever. I had a crush on Tobey Maguire's Peter when I was a kid and I watched the first trilogy a thousand times. I read comics and watched movies and I've always loved him. But I also need to add a special mention for two other mcu characters: Monica Rambeau and Nakìa, because I love them and I think they're criminally underrated.

Patterson (Blindspot) - She's smart, caring, strong and she's a nuanced character, she's not perfect but she is, ok?

Peeta Mellark (Hunger Games books and films) - What a crush. He's smart, sweet and caring and a rebel in his own way. I can only love him.

Haley James Scott (One Tree Hill) - supreme comfort character in my teenage years. Relatable but also inspiring.

John Keating (Dead Poets Society) - if there's someone, anyone, who hasn't watched Dps and doesn't know why he's special JUST WATCH THE MOVIE

Amanita Caplan (Sense8) - She was a sensate without being a sensate. She's special.

Olivia Dunham (Fringe) - I've interrupted my Fringe rewatch but I keep thinking about it because I was loving her even more then the first time.

Chidi Anagonye (The Good Place) - he just wants to do the right thing and most of the time he's just giving himself a stomachache. Anxious mess. Relatable.

Maeve Wiley (Sex Education) she's iconic and she deserves more than a big window.

I probably should have mentioned someone from a more recent show or at least someone I never mentioned before, I feel like I'm always talking about the same characters, but what can I say? at least I'm coherent...Okay, I'll cheat and also mention Inej Ghafa (Shadow and Bone) and Mabel Mora (Only Murders In The Building).

FSK getting together in the Framework headcanons

The confession comes out without Daisy meaning to, while they are together in the Resistance HQ. She is shaken to her bones with having seen Fitz as Hydra leader and knowing there is a universe where Jemma is dead, but mostly with knowing there is a universe where she and Ward are together. A different Ward for sure, but Ward nonetheless.

They are scouting some closets together for something for Jemma to wear when the words blurt out of her mouth.

"I am in love with you." All Jemma's movements come to a halt, except for her lips, that start rembling. Daisy panics and has no better idea than to keep going, "And with Fitz too."

Jema deflates like a balloon, all the air rushing out her mouth, and just when Daisy is about to go 'haha, gotcha', Jemma mumbles "Thank God", grabs her face and kiss her.  

It's one hell of a kiss, Daisy's back pressed hard against the wall, all roaming hands and wandering lips. When they break apart, Daisy is turned on, out of her mind with excitement and guilty as all hell.

"Jemma, Fitz-”

"We are both in love with you, Daisy. I am sorry I am the one telling you about him, but these are extenuating circumstances."

She is overcome with a giddiness she had forgotten she was even able to feel.

"For how long?" she manages to rasp out. "How long have you two felt this way?"

Jemma bites his lower lip, and not for the first time Daisy wants to do that for her. Except that now she can, so she does.

"Ever since the beginning, probably. But Fitz and I came clean to each other a little while after getting together. But you, um, you were with Lincoln then, and we would never dare make a move in those circumstances. And then you were grieving, and then you left, and-"

Daisy cuts her short, she understands the reasoning, she just doesn't want to dig on those memories. Instead, she likes to relish on the good ones.

"It's a shame you didn't say anything back then. I think Lincoln would have easily had a thing for you two."

- Daisy has to go back to Hydra, and they have to find a way out of this hellhole for them and for everyone else, but they can allow themselves one moment to hold each other and enjoy this newfound realization. Daisy can't wait to get Fitz out and tell him what hey figured it out.
