it wasn't uncommon for cora to stay up late. having royally screwing up her sleep schedule, what's the point of even trying to sleep when you know it'll either be disrupted in middle of night or you'll wake up far too early, unable to sleep? either way, cora supposed one good thing of being a renowned "night owl" ( as if the rest of ignihyde body weren't nocturnal, themselves ) is being able to watch over idia should he manage to catch a few zzz's, himself.

while idly scrolling through her phone and lazily munching on corn chips, cora is quick to notice shuffling from the fiery haired dorm leader. assuming this to simply be adjustments needed for a more comfortable position to sleep, she shrugged it off. there's no reason to jump to conclusions with scarce proof, after all. the second time, however, alarmed the vice when she finally, thanks to the light his hair luminated, discerned tears forming in idia's eyes. crap...was he having a nightmare? without hesitation, cora drops her phone aside and moves closer to tug him. ❛ idia...idia! wake up! ❜ cora moves back to give her sleep ridden boyfriend some space without saying another word. minutes pass and finally, idia spoke up...this time, an hour passed of a pretty hefty explanation but cora's face scowls with regret. if only she wasn't so selfish...if only SHE didn't push HIM away...

❛ idia, i... ❜ pausing to think over her words, cora sighs and looks down at her hands - which still shivered frailly - while her frown only darkened. her voice is small and meek as she says: ❛ i...i'm so sorry...i wish i'd been there... ❜ she recalls their apologetic states shortly after regaining consciousness in the hospital, but it wasn't enough. it'll never be enough ... not when the image of idia's horrified expression during the argument still haunted her own mind. when idia finally murmurs, icy blue eyes glanced back at a sight she once detested but now piles her with more regret. oh, the things she wished she could've done, back then...but, there's not much either of could do but be there for one another. and right here, cora will be or damn her to tartarus, all over again.

that being said, cora nudges closer and takes his hands with the intention of tugging them off to look him in the eyes. damn...she never actually realized how handsome idia is. ❛ ...i'm here, now. ❜ she begins, with the firm tone everyone knew her for, which is quick to soften as she continues: ❛ and you're not gonna lose me...especially not after the hell both of us endured. ❜ she pauses to tug idia closer, pressing his head to her shoulder as her hands moved to gently tangle in long, warm locks. ❛ you said nobody ever heard what actually happened, right...? well...if you feel like it, let it out on me. get it all out of your chest...let me actually be here for you, idia... ❜ because this might be a fucked up world, but it's a two-player game - might as well finally make it fair and square.

authors notes: hi pookster!! had fun making this request between our overwatch games lmfao. anyway i hope u enjoy 😊😊

the girl layed in miles’ bed as he played fortnite with some of his friends. the boy invited her over to do what couples would do, like watch a movie or just spend quality time in general.

but when she arrived, the girl found her boyfriend on his playstation playing fortnite with what he called “his gang”.

she groaned and whined to miles as he continued to play his video game. “you owe me $20 for that round” he yelled into the microphone as he assumably won that game.

“milessssss” the girl whined coming behind his chair. “mami let me finish this than i can teach you.” he responded to the annoyed figure behind his gaming chair.

shortly after miles had won the match, his girlfriend sat still whining on the bed. occasionally scrolling on her phone to cure her boredom.

“aight i gotta go my girl here” he said into the mic before leaving the party. shortly after he said “cmere mami” getting up from his chair and picking his girlfriend by her hips. the girl whined trying to kick her feet out of his grip.

miles sat the girl right on his lap. “shh i told you i’d teach you” he said into her ear, sending butterflies down her spine.

“fine” she mumbled as miles handed her the controller. “kay so first we’re gonna hop into creative and ima show u how to build” miles spoke softly as he placed his hands over hers.

“do press right trigger to place a wall, than left stick for stairs” he commented as the girl attempted to crank a 90.

“see ur getting somewhere” he responded praising the girl. she smiled at her achievement before attempting to do some more 90s.

“okay now trying aiming with ur top right button” miles said to his girlfriend. “like this?” she said accidentally clicking the cone button. “nono like this” he said hovering his fingers of hers and clicking the top right trigger to aim.

“now click the button above it” he whispered softly to the girl. the girl now clicked the correct button, “good job amor!” he said happily.

“okay i’m bored now” she said whining and laying her head back on his shoulder as he held her hips. “we can stop here?” he asked picking her up under her thighs.

“we could watch a movie?” he added setting her on the bed as he walked to turn off his playstation. “okay” she responded getting comfortable on his bed.

for the rest of the night the two cuddled up together and enjoyed whatever was on the tv, miles occasionally sneaking a peck or two.

So that new Levi card, woah boy(positive). I get how setting is slightly dubious but unfortunately my brain stopped at the ‘childish jealousy’ part and yeah childish was the perfect word he actually is throwing a bratty tantrum about MC talking about their time with Minhyeok WHILE THEY'RE NOT EVEN NEXT TO HIM. Levi, babey, you're not beating the Tsundere allegations.

Also the part about the sins was very interesting ‘cause it kinda puts in perspective why he feels like there's no King he's close to. Or at least that's my read on that part, all their sins have some positive parts while his is the only fully negative one so of course he couldn't feel close to them. (Personally I do think that part is his viewpoint on their sins and it would be interesting to see the other Kings’ too, Satan in particular since I feel like his sin and depressive mood swings do go hand in hand)

Now for the read more aka wiiiild speculations because he didn't come home in the reduced ten pull aka see you in 3 months bae when I have 500 pulls and you still refuse to show up(looking at you bath Satan), fair bit of character analysis and slight canon divergence(???) plus personal MC involvement.

GONNA PREFACE THIS BY WAVING NY ‘LEVI SIMP’ FLAG UP HIGH, IF THE CARD STORY WAS OFF PUTTING TO YOU OR YOU DISLIKE HIS CHARACTER IN GENERAL THEN MORE POWER TO YOU BUT PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS POST! IT AIN'T MEANT FOR YOU HOMIE (it's meant for me first and then anyone else who wants to witness my 3am insanity)

Gonna start this off by saying that when they dropped the first teaser for the card my expectations for the story were jelly Levi wants to replace minhyeok and thus enters MC's memories except surprise surprise it was actually some corn set in a high school (don't pretend those aren't a thing, we're all adults here, and with MC’s track record in that game it would not be surprising) in part because the story had to get spicy at some point.

Personal belief is that what we see in the prologue of Levi is the closest thing to a ‘normal’ him aka a version of him that got to experience a normal childhood and not have all the trauma of… ya know… HIS WHOLE PAST. The way he expected an attack when MC initially trips breaks me in a very particular way, he has never known peace, he expects everything to be some sort of attempt on his or his people’s life. The one time he wasn't as uptight ended up with him heavily injured (Bloodshed card).

There is also him ascertaining that they had different starting points. Now this could refer to a lot of things but to me one thing that does is put a definite line between them. To me it sounds like he's reasoning with himself that because of their very different lives they would be incompatible (combined with that thing about his sin being the only negative one it shows he always separates himself from people he would otherwise form bonds with)

Now he's still not nice, far from it, but he can be accommodating and look out for MC when he is not thinking 24/7 about possibly being attacked. Whether he reasons that it would endear himself more to them or out of pure instinct he looked out for MC, those were not Minhyeok’s actions he mimicked but his own.

So yeah, average Levi is horrendously bad at emotions and frankly probably the one who understands his own emotions towards a potential romantic partner(since tbh that is what MC is) the least. (This is a whole other can of brainworms about how aside from Solomon he probably has not been attached to anyone in that way until MC based on something he says in his H-Scene, but that can of worms shall be opened later) please get some therapists in Hell, clearly everyone would benefit from it.

There is also something impossibly endearing to me about seeing Levi in a high school setting even for a bit because that's not something he ever experienced and I wish his time exploring that part of MC and Minhyeok's past was a bit longer. I want to believe MC gets to ask him later in the story how he felt about it.

If you were only here for the character analysis then thanks for reading, have a lovely day/night/evening, we are going into wild speculation territory and some personal things regarding my MC Jin in that particular scenario.

tl;dr: After Jin's parents were killed she pretty much secluded herself in their home doing most of her studying through online courses and only showing up physically at school for a couple of days.

I choose to believe she was aware of stuff from the start but in that way you're aware you're in a dream while you sleep, she can tell things are a bit off but not fully what is wrong. She knows the person with her is not Minhyeok, she also knows who Leviathan is, but there's a certain disconnect when trying to piece it all together, but the further the dream goes the more she ‘realises’ and ‘awakens to the truth' if you will.

She cannot help but pity Levi’s situation even if she knows if she ever said that she'd probably get insta-hanged, so a part of her cannot help but wonder if he wanted to experience some normalcy for once. (She's not the brightest tool in the shed so the fact that he wants to replace Minhyeok would not pass by her singular braincell) (I love her I swear, being mean is my love language)

So I imagine after the whole dream thing is over and she next visits Hades she doesn't raise any questions about that event. She seems annoyingly unbothered and not curious at all. If anything this just makes Leviathan more angry because she can't be that unbothered after everything and pretend nothing happened, he should've been the only thing on her mind and yet she still sometimes mentions that detestable human. Oh how he should hang her for it. And then one day she has a conspicuously familiar candy in her mouth. “Was the experience at least a bit pleasant?” She's soft spoken anyway but she sounds almost apologetic. Why yes the experience was quite pleasant if Levi had to be honest but he'd never praise her openly… and then it hits him. She's not asking about that, she's asking about how he felt in a normal human high school.

When she gets no answer she stammers and starts speaking again, trying to fill the void. “I didn't exactly… go there often…” The pauses are plentiful and her shoulders droop almost in shame. “... so I imagine whatever you saw was rather lacklustre… aside from… my pathetic display-”

“It wasn't bad.”

A short sentence and it was enough to make the human girl perk up instantly. From anyone else that would be considered nigh an insult, but with Levi's temperament that was the highest praise she could hope for. By the time Jin was next to his desk after he'd beckoned her with a wave of his hand her visage had brightened significantly. ‘Stealing’ the lollipop from between her lips was ‘child’s play’ after that, the girl clearly took stunned to speak and becoming redder by the second.

jay's has a very short temper. he knows that, his friends know that, everyone in the university knows that. what everybody doesn't know is that his anger is often fleeting, and that once his temper goes away, his guilt eats him up. still, he cannot and would not say sorry. ni-ki being the primary target of his anger often just accepts the gifts jay leaves in front of his room as an apology because one, the gift is often expensive, and two, he knows his jay hyung very well.

which is why he's currently pacing around his room, wondering if he's going to apologize to her. apologizing is just out of the option— but how is he going to talk to her again?

her last message was 4 days ago. looking back at their past messages, jay feels bad spamming her like that. he realized that he was, in fact, being stupid and childish. fuck, she must thinks i'm one of those toxic misogynist gamers. he did remember her saying something along the lines of "i hope you're not those idiots who hate on women for breathing lmao" during the match, which he ignored at the time.

the choices are clear: either he suck up coming off as mean to an online girl which he probably would never meet in this lifetime, or say sorry so he can continue playing with said girl who's objectively good at the game.

"fuck." he whispers, opening the game and nibbling on his lower lip as it loads. he tries to convince himself that the only reason he's saying sorry is so she can help him rank up, not because he genuinely feels sorry for blowing off on— holy shit, she's online.

jay thinks he deserves it. besides, if he can't, then at least he'll get to play with a cute good player before she blocks him. that doesn't mean he won't go down without a fight.

death match arena — the rules are simple: the first player to eliminate the other 20 times wins. jay picks up his gun and he traverses through the map when he hears the first shot. going behind a wall, he peeks and before he can even pull out his gun, he spots notursniper with her weapon already aimed at him.

notursniper - 1 | killstrike - 0

he manages to kill her every now and then, using stealth and his self-heal technique but it doesn't compare to how god-like her aim is, always getting him by headshots. he doesn't even manage to see where the shot is coming from, he just hears a single shot ringing and he'll be spawned back to base with the scoreboard adding another point beside her name. he smiles to himself in plain admiration of her skills.

the score is now 19-13 in notursniper's favor.

on the last round, jay spawns in his base. i can hold off just a little until the score evens out. he hides behind a crater and pulls the ring off of a frag grenade and peeks out to throw the weapon in hopes of distracting her. he slings a few smoke grenades in different directions to throw her off too, using the white fog to adjust his location.

he ends up inside the warehouse in the center of the map, grabbing the special m249 to avoid reload mishaps. despite the added weight and nerfed character speed of the weapon, he manages to sneak to her location only to see... nothing? she's not in her usual spot. where is she? he turns around and there she is with her knife. he presses on the shoot button hard, not even caring whether the bullets actually hit her. it still wasn't enough, though, as his loading screen flashes a bright red "defeat."

he chuckles, knowing very well that she killed him with a knife to prove a point that she's not only a good sniper, but an ace with any kind of weapon.

killstrike: hey before you unfriend me on here i hope you know i just said what i said out of anger 🤕

...aight gamers I've been sitting on this one for a while, but... would anyone want a Gregor/GN!reader fic that centers around boundaries, safewords, and aftercare? I will warn that I had written it pretty spur of the moment, and I'm not great at smut, so it basically starts right in the thick of things, as reader is getting overwhelmed. It also features some miscommunication/people-pleasing (leading into the need for the safeword), but the whole thing focuses on proper boundaries and aftercare and just being super soft
