Phantoms of the Past: Chapter 38 - Ransoms and Romance on the Range - Part 3
Tumblr media
Honey Lemon, Gogo, and Krei were jostled around in the back seat while the jeep drove off road. To say it was a bumpy ride would have been an understatement, and there were no seat belts that they could find. Honey Lemon held onto the handrail  above the door, while Gogo braced herself in the middle. Poor Krei was having the worst of it as he had fallen into the floorboard between the seats.
Then the vehicle lurched to a sudden stop. Everyone tensed. They heard footsteps and the bandits yelling at one another, though they couldn't make out what was being said.
Honey Lemon jumped when the door next to her opened.
"Well 'princess', I ho- '' The man stopped talking as soon as he saw her. She was staring face to face with one of the hired hands from the ranch. He had thick black hair with a light curl and deep brown eyes. Rather than come to rescue them, he seemed in shock.
He turned to the bandits behind him. "I thought you said you got Allen's daughter!?"
"We did." The tallest bandit whined.
He pointed back at Honey Lemon. "This ain't Allen's girl!"
"Well she was the only girl that was out riding on the field when you said she would be!" The other bandit protested.
Honey Lemon had had enough. As soon as the traitorous ranch hand turned back towards her she kicked him square in the face with a high-kick. The cowboy went flying and landed on his back, hard.
Honey Lemon hopped out of the jeep and pulled Gogo out, while Krei opened the opposite door. Only their getaway was short lived when the leader of the bandits pointed a gun at them.
"I wouldn't try that again ifin' I was you missy." He growled. "Alright, everyone hands up, single file."
He ordered them to march to the back of the jeep. It was still dark out, and Honey Lemon couldn't tell where they were. It just looked like a wide open grassland. There were no discernible landmarks breaking up the darken skyline. The only light came from the headlights of the villains' hovercraft and which they pointed right at the prisoners' faces.
The three of them squinted their eyes at the bright light as the leader of the outlaws decided to interrogate them.
"Okay, who are you, and why were you at Allen's ranch?"
'Who am I?" Krei huffed indignantly. "Why I'm Alister Krei, CEO of KreiTech, and you guys are in big trouble."
"What tech?" The tallest bandit shrugged, and whispered to his silent friend.
Krei rolled his eyes. "Kreitech! You know, we're on the cutting edge of technology, the top experimental facility in the country, and third in electronic sales world wide."
"I know who you are." The former ranch hand sniffled as walked up. "That's that company that makes all the crappy cell phones."
 "Crappy!?"
 Then bandits ignored Krei's protests.
"He's one of Allen's rich friends, come to visit."
"So he's worth money then..." The leader surmised. "Who's the other two?"
The cowboy shrugged. "Just some kids he dragged along with him... They ain't related to Allen though... Hear tell, most of them is just employees of KreiTech.
"So.. worthless then..." The leader grumbled. "Dang it! And we were this close to a pay day."
"You wanna us to get rid of them Joe?" The final bandit asked.
Honey Lemon was startled to hear him finally speak. His voice was cold and emotionless, but more frightening still was when he cocked his gun and took aim right at her and Gogo.
Then to her surprise Krei stepped between them and the mercenary.
"Worthless!? Well that's a fine way to talk about 'my daughters'." He tilted his head back and winked at them. Gogo stifled a groan. "If you must know, I'm Allen's nephew, on my mother's side, and we were having a nice family gathering before your three barged in."
"You don't look related." The tallest bandit innocently commented.
 "We're adopted." Gogo said flatly.
The outlaws shared skeptical looks with each other before the leader sauntered up to Krei and placed a gun right up against the billionaire's face.
"And whatcha plannin' to offer us?"
Krei gulped before squaring his shoulders. "I can offer you more money then you ever dreamed of, but... if you harm any single one of us you won't see a penny."
The bandit seemed to consider his words for a moment before lowering the gun. "Alright, tie 'em up. We'll take them to the hideout. Allen might just show up with the ransom money yet."
As the rest of the outlaws moved to tie their hands behind their backs, Honey Lemon heard the leader call out a final warning. "Oh, and Mr. Krei.... I can dream of quite a lot." He gave an evil laugh as the three of them were led back to the jeep.
"Well, what's the plan now 'dad'?" Gogo sarcastically quipped as the jeep started to move once more.
"The plan is to stay alive until someone can come rescue us... ooooff..." They hit a rock and Krei bounced in the seat, bumping his head against the car roof. "ugh.. That depends on convincing them that we're valuable."
"I'm... ooh... I'm sure our friends are on their way r-right now." Honey Lemon encouraged as she placed a foot against the seat in front of her to keep from sliding around as the truck raddled on.
Gogo sighed. "Yeah, but the question is how long is it going to take them? They had to have used an EMP to take out Baymax, and that probably means our supersuits are a no-go too. Argh! Stupid leather seats are so slippery."
Honey Lemon frowned as that inconvenient reality came crashing through her optimism. Meanwhile Gogo crashed into Krei as the jeep took a sharp turn.
                                               -----------------------
Varian pulled on the stallion's mane, requesting the horse to slow down. It was still dark out, but morning would be upon them sooner rather than later. Varian could already see the very beginning rays of sunrise peeking out from the horizon behind him.
The grey light, as minuscule as it was, had allowed him to spot a patch of dirt that had been up turned by wheels. Up until now, he had just been heading in the general direction that he had seen the jeep drive away in. It was too dark to really see much and the flat springy grassland hadn't made any noticeable tracks anyways, especially not from the hovercrafts. This was the first real sign that anyone had traveled this way.
Varian hopped off the wild horse and went to inspect the imprint more closely. He could see the tire marks in the mud where it had ripped up the ground, as if the car had skidded to a stop and then took off again at high speed. Of course, he had no way of telling how long ago that was, nor even if it was made by the bandits' jeep, but it was all he had to go on. Then he spotted footprints right behind the tire marks.
One set was large, probably made by a man, and then the two beside those were much smaller, one had a sneaker imprint and the other a small heel, from like a boot.
Krei and the girls. Varian thought. The outlaws must have pulled them out from the jeep, but, why? Where were they now?
He hunted around but saw no more tracks. Had the three of them walked off then the grass wouldn't have left much of an impression of their tracks. "Maybe, they had escaped?" Varian dared to hope. "Maybe they ran off towards the town just south of here, looking for help, while the bandits took off running north west?" Somehow Varian doubted that was the case. Gogo and Honey Lemon could hold their own in a fight, but Keri not so much, and the outlaws were armed while they weren't.
Varian looked towards his animal companion to see what his opinion was. The horse only pawed at the ground annoyed.
"Yeah, I know it's far fetched." Varian rolled his eyes as he complained at the stallion. "But I'm just trying to explore all the possibilities."
He looked back down at the footprints, and he got a sinking feeling in his stomach. "Of course.... that's assuming that they walked off at all...."
He bit his lip and scanned the surrounding area. The sky line was pretty flat and he saw no mound, hills, nor ditches for one to hide behind. 'Or to hide a body' he chillingly thought.
No, they had to be alive, they just had to. Varian refused to consider the possibility. The bandits wanted to use them for ransom, killing them wouldn't be of any benefit. They must have gone back into the jeep and drove off.
He mounted Widowmaker again and started to head in the direction of the tire tracks, though of course the trail faded away the further he made it into the plains. He sighed as he woahed the horse to a stop. There was no logical reason to assume that the bandits had kept traveling in one direction, yet there was also no indication of where and when they may have turned.
Varian silently cursed under his breath. If only he hadn't been such an impatient hothead he might have asked someone where this 'Weeping Rock' was. Even if that's not where they were headed to, he might have been able to set an ambush for them when they showed up to make the exchange.
He cupped his chin with his hand and tried to recall what tracking lessons his father had taught him growing up. Rule of thumb was, if you lost your prey, sooner or later, more would show up at any source of water. But these were people he was hunting, not animals, and he didn't know where any local sources of water were.
"Weeping Rock... Weeping Rock... no.. no wait it was Hill, Weeping Hill... or mountain.. Argh! I can't even remember the name of the place!" He cried in frustration.
 Widowmaker whinnied.
"Yeah, I know, I know. I should have thought this through more, but we don't have time to double back."
 The horse snorted.
"Don't get fresh with me. I'm well aware of where we are, I just don't know where they're going."
He pouted. "Or what they'll do to my friends when they get there."
He blinked rapidly as he surveyed the surrounding plains. He didn't know what to do. Then, very faintly, he heard the sound of trickling water.
He guided his mount to where he heard the sound and sure enough there was a tiny creek, no bigger than an arm's length across, flowing south.
"But the only thing south is that small town we had driven through on the way to the ranch. The bandits wouldn't head that way where they could be spotted, and the jeeps tracks were going northwest..." He mused out loud, "...unless Weeping Hill is the source of the creek! Come on Widowmaker. We're heading north! High-ya!"
                                              -----------------------
The jeep finally came to a stop and Honey Lemon, Gogo, and Krei were let out.
It was early morning now and Honey Lemon was cold, tired, and hungry. She was also now wishing she had eaten more at dinner.
"Over there." The more deadly of the bandits ordered them at gunpoint. "Sit."
They took a seat underneath the shade of a towering stone pillar. The landscape had completely changed; instead of grassland, they were now in a shallow gorge surrounded by cliffs and large sandstones. One particularly large rock held two tiny caves from which a fresh spring poured out into a small creek. It looked like the hill was crying.
"That must be 'Weeping Hill'," Gogo said.
"Yeah, and Allen has only till tomorrow to find this place and bring the money," Krei grumbled.
"And if he doesn't get here in time... th-then what?" Honey Lemon nervously asked.
"Enough yappin'!" Joe, the leader, snapped. "Jeff? Put on some grub, will ya... I'm half starved."
The tallest of the bandits pulled out some camping equipment from the trunk of the jeep. In no time at all he had a small campfire going and was frying up some spam in a cast iron pan.
The smell of the food made the three prisoners' mouths water. Even Honey Lemon, who didn't care for meat at all, thought it smelt good, though she would much prefer to have the black beans that the bandits had boiling in a pot next to the flames. Sadly, the outlaws didn't seem keen to share.
To finish the meal, the traitorous ranch hand, Johnny was his name, toasted some flour tortillas on the grill and the bandits made breakfast tacos for themselves.
"And what about us?" Gogo asked indigently.
"What about you?" Joe hissed and kicked dirt at them as he took a big bite out of his taco.
That ended any conversations about food.
"Keri," Gogo whispered as their kidnappers were busy eating. "turn your back towards me. I'll try to untie your ropes and then you can untie us."
Krei compiled but he failed to see what good this would do. "And suppose we do get free?" He whispered back. "Then what? We can't fight or way out."
"Maybe not, but it'll give us more options at least." Gogo hissed back as she grappled with the rope. "Do you have your cell phone on you?"
"Yeah, but it's dead. I tried calling for help when we were first in the jeep."
"Yeah so's mine..." Gogo sighed. "But it was just an EMP blast, that shouldn't decommission them forever."
"What are you thinking?" Honey Lemon quietly asked, her eyes never leaving their captors.
"Get the ropes loose, but play long for now and act like we're still tied up." Gogo answered. "One of us might be able to sneak our phones out and text for help."
"That's not much of a plan." Krei muttered.
"You got a better idea!?" Gogo hissed.
Krei offered no further criticism after that as he and Gogo took turns trying to untie each other's ropes. Honey Lemon kept watch as they did so. Keri was right though, it wasn't much of a plan and she prayed that their friends found them soon.
                                              -----------------------
Hiro slammed the telephone down in frustration. He and Wasabi had managed to reconnect the cut lines and they at least had some communication going, for all the good that it did them right now.
"He's still not answering his cell phone." He complained.
"It might still be dead from the EMP." Tadashi reasoned. "Ours are."
"Unless Varian just turned his off completely so that he can sneak up on the bad guys better." Fred suggested.
Everyone shared worried looks. There was no doubt in anyone's mind that that was precisely what Varian was planning.
 "So now what?" Wasabi asked.
Tadashi rolled his eyes upwards towards the ceiling as he rocked back on his heels. "Well, we couldn't find any more fuel for the cars, sooo the only thing any of us could do is saddle up some horses and ride out after him."
"Yeah right." Hiro snorted. "Who of us can actually ride a horse? Not to mention we have no way of knowing where he is by now or what direction he went in."
Wasabi rubbed his brow and fought off a yawn. None of them had gotten much sleep.
"Well seeing as there's not anything we can do then, I suggest we take a nap. I"ll See you in an hour or so."
He got up from the couch and started to head towards the stairs when Kim entered through the front door.
 "They're back!" She hollered.
The boys rushed towards the door eagerly but it wasn't their friends returning. It was Allen and his daughter, and they had the sheriff with them. They were all riding in the policeman's truck. Zeb must have stayed behind with the horses.
"Well, there's some good news at least." Tadashi sighed, trying to look on the bright side, though he sounded far from happy.
"Maybe he's already sent a posse out?" Fred hopefully said.
"Yeah... hopefully." Hiro agreed, his voice sounding hollow. He hated feeling so useless. He turned to walk back inside, but his finger caught a splinter on the porch rail.
 "Ow!"
"I was alerted to your distress, when you said 'ow!' On a scale of one to ten how would you rate your pain?"
"Baymax? Baymax!" Hiro rushed to his best friend and gave him a huge hug. "I'm so glad you're back buddy."
"You appear to have a splitter. I recommend tweezers for removal and antiseptic for disinfecting the wound."
"No time for that now. Keri and the girls have been kidnapped and Varian's gone after them alone. We have to find them."
"Oh no." The robot proclaimed as Hiro dragged him outside to meet the sheriff.
                                              -----------------------
Varian saw the smoke from the campfire long before he ever saw Weeping Hill. He directed Widowmaker to stick close to the rocks as they slipped up behind the outlaw's encampment. Then he silently slid off the horse, and lying low, looked down over the cliff edge into the gorge.
There was Honey Lemon, Gogo, and Krei sitting underneath a pillar. Their hands were bound behind their backs, but otherwise they looked unharmed. One of the bandits was keeping watch over them, while the other three sat around the recently put out campfire, playing cards.
Varian shaded his eyes with one hand and surveyed the terrain. Morning was now long gone and it was near noon. There was Weeping Hill, and just like Varian had suspected it was the source of the creek. Below the crying rock was parked the stolen jeep and on the opposite end of the gorge were the hovercrafts.
First thing was first, he'd have to prevent the bandits from escaping once he made his attack. It would do no good for him to fight one of them only for the other three to grab his friends and run away on the hoverbikes. He had to work quickly.
He took off the bandana he was wearing and pulled out the bottle of 90% proof rubbing alcohol from his pocket. He dipped one end of the bandana into the bottle to soak and then flipped the cloth around and stuck the opposite end in.
Then he pulled out his swiss army knife. He was now grateful he had bought the one with a flint and steel attachment over the one with a belt clip as he tried to strike a light.
                                              -----------------------
"Ugh… I can't get it." Gogo said through gritted teeth as she fumbled with Krei's knots. "It's too tight."
"Here, let me try yours." Krei whispered.
Gogo started to roll her eyes but then stopped when she felt her bonds come loose in a matter of moments. "How did you do that?"
"Old boy scout trick. Now what's your plan?"
"My phone is in my back pocket... I might be able to call my supersuit... Keep an eye out Honey."
"I don't know how well that'll work..." Honey Lemon hesitantly commented.
"Well it's the best idea we hav-"
She was interrupted by a flaming bottle flying through the air. It landed upon the hood of the jeep and the car burst into a ball of fire.
 "What the-!" Joe called out.
Johnny ran to the hovercrafts, intent on getting away from their unseen attacker, only for a bright pink ball to come flying over the cliff next. It landed on the ground between the steel cattle bikes and exploded into a sticky purple goo that sparkled with glitter. It covered all three of the hoverbikes and left poor Johnny suspended in midair between the two sides of the gorge. The bandits were cut off from escape.
"Who goes there!?" Joe shouted and the three that were left tightened around each other into a protective circle as they drew their guns.
Using the distraction Gogo pulled out her phone. Fortunately, it was back online. She called for her super suit and waited... and nothing happened.
"They must still be down from the EMP blast." Honey Lemon frowned.
"Alright, but then who's up there?" Krei nodded towards the cliffs.
That was precisely what the Jolton Brothers were wondering.
"Who are you? Show yourself, ya yellow belly coward!" The leader ordered. Their attacker of course failed to comply with his taunts.
"I see him." Jim said, and took aim at a dark figure running across the cliff top. Whoever it was ducked behind a large boulder just in time and the laser blast ricocheted off the stone harmlessly. But it did scare their attacker's horse, which whinnied and bolted across the plain above.
                                              -----------------------
Varian saw Widomaker take off in fright as another gunshot fired off nearby him. He was pinned down and now out of long range options. He needed to get closer if he was going to have any chance.
Waiting for a pause, he got down on his stomach and crawled to the next boulder. Fortunately the grass was tall enough along the edge of the cliff to hide him. Unfortunately, he couldn't just crawl down the cliff face. He risked a glance downwards. No one was paying attention to Krei and the girls now as the three outlaws scanned the cliff edge for him, creating a defensive circle. The forth struggled to free himself from Honey Lemon's chim-goo.
Varian had successfully stopped the bandits from getting away, but he had lost the element of surprise in doing so. He couldn't make it down to his friends without getting shot.
"Think, Varian... think." He whispered to himself. All he had left was the lasso, knife, and amber. The lasso wouldn't reach the bottom of the gorge, he didn't trust his knife throwing skills enough to try from this distance, and the amber was too valuable to just toss it.
"I need... I need a distraction... something to throw... come on.." he dug his hands into the ground and fingers grazed across as small stones. "Like a rock!"
Hiding behind another boulder he took his knife and ripped the seam on the sleeve of his shirt and tore it off. Then he cradled the stone inside the sleeve like a sling. He waited for an opening, and when no one was looking hurled the rock over to the other side of the cliff.
The bandits were startled and all turned as one to shoot at the opposite side of the gorge when Varian started to climb down the cliff.
                                              -----------------------
Honey Lemon let out a little shriek and made herself as small as possible as the outlaws started firing over her head. Krei and Gogo ducked the same as she did, only Gogo kept her eyes open.
"Look... It's Varian." She said, just loud enough to get their attention but not enough to alert the bandits.
Honey Lemon opened her eyes and sure enough she saw the Varian's slender figure scrambling down the other side of the gorge. His signature goggles gave him away, and curiously one of his sleeves was torn off. Honey Lemon hoped that he wasn't hurt.
"Fantastic!" Keri breathed. "So where are the others?" He turned his head every which way looking for the rest of Big Hero Six to jump out at any moment.
 No one did.
"He's on his own..." Gogo whispered in horror as realization dawned on all three of them.
Honey Lemon bit back a cry of fright as they watched Varian miss his footing and go sliding down the slope. He began to roll the last bit and landed against a large outcrop.
"What was that!?" Jeff, the tallest bandit said as he turned around quickly. Fortunately the boulder Varian had fallen behind was big enough to hide him, only Honey Lemon had no way of knowing if he was injured or not.
'Stupid, stupid, wonderful, over protective Varian! What is he thinking!?'
Of course the answer was that he wasn't thinking at all. Knowing Varian, his only thought must have been for them and their safety, not his own.
Honey Lemon's stomach tied itself into knots. This entire ordeal had been a nightmare, but the idea of her friend dying trying to save her was the worst thing to happen so far.
'Please stay hidden. Please stay hidden. Stop trying to be a hero. Please just stay hidden.' She prayed.
                                              -----------------------
Varian, of course, didn't hear her, and probably wouldn't have listened even if he could have.
He winced as he sat up and crouched behind the rock that had broken his fall. He had twisted his ankle climbing down and it was sore, but at least he could move it, so it wasn't broken.
'Small thanks for small mercies' He bitterly thought as he pulled the rope off his shoulders. He was close enough now to use the lasso, but he'd still have to be careful not to be seen. One laser blast to the face and it would be all over for everyone.
Once his lasso was tied, he kicked a small pebble with his still good foot and it clinked against a larger boulder to his left.
As one, the remaining bandits turned to shoot towards the sound. Varian quickly stood up and lassoed the gun out of the hand of the bandit closest to him, and ducked down, yanking on the rope as he did so and pulling the gun out of the outlaw leader's hand.
More laser blasts erupted around him as he frantically pulled the gun towards himself, but at the last second, the one of bandits blasted the gun instead allowing Varian to grab it.
Varian stanched his hand away from the smoking wreckage of the laser gun and ran to hide behind a tree, ignoring the pain that shot up his leg in protest. The tree itself didn't afford much protection, but its roots ran around a large rock like it was trying to crush it in its grasp.
Varian knew that he'd just given his position away. The only thing he was doing now was buying time. He took a steadying breath and pulled the broken amber from his boot.
                                              -----------------------
Gogo didn't even bother to hide the fact that she was now free. None of the bandits were looking at her anyway. She pulled out her phone and frantically texted Tadashi.
'Help! They're going to kill Varian!'
                                         'Where are you!?'
'At some gorge. I don't know where.'
'What do you see around you?'
'A rock with two springs coming out of it'
                                         "We're with the sheriff now-'
 "Look out!"
Gogo didn't read the rest of the text. She looked up when Honey Lemon called out and saw the bandit, Jim, sneaking around the tree and bolder where Varian had last ducked behind.
"Quiet you!" Jeff, the tall one, yelled, and he shot at the ground next to their feet.
Gogo dropped the phone as they all scooted away from the blast. Jim kept his gun aimed at her as he reached down to pick up the phone.
"Now what were you doing with this?"
                                              -----------------------
Varian heard Honey Lemon's warning. He dogged out of the way as the thin bandit turned around the corner. He slashed at the laser gun, and the amber sliced it cleanly in two. The outlaw was surprised but didn't miss a beat. He lunged at Varian and the two of them went tussling to the ground as they wrestled for control of the amber.
                                              -----------------------
While Varian and the bandit rolled along the ground, Joe tried to free Johnny from the purple goop. He did it mostly because he hoped to get the bikes free as well, more so than out of any concern for the younger ranch hand. Still, they were two guns down and having an extra on hand wouldn't hurt.
"Joe! Look!" Johnny nodded in the direction of the fight.
The boy from the ranch had over powered Jim and had him pushed up against a tree trunk.
Jeff grumbled and started to march over to help his brother.
Just then Jim yanked the yellow spike that boy was carrying out of his hand.
It was a short lived victory though.
The boy kneed him in the stomach and in one swift motion, quicker than a jack rabbit, the teenager pulled out a switchblade knife and pinned Jim to the tree by his shirt collar.
Then the cowboy retrieved the yellow spike and brandished it at Joe like a butcher's blade.
Joe backed away. He looked at Jim. His little brother wasn't hurt, but the other man was stuck tight as he tried to pull loose.
                                              -----------------------
Gogo didn't pay much attention to the fight, she was too busy staring down the barrel of a gun.
"I said, what were you doing with this?" The outlaw demanded again as he waved her phone in the air.
"Stop messing with them Jeff and help us!" Joe called out.
Varian took a warning swipe at the bandit leader with that weird piece of amber from his home world.
The leader ducked quickly enough to avoid getting hit, but his ten gallon hat was sliced to ribbons as it fell off his head.
Jeff pocketed the phone, and then turned around and took aim at Varian.
In a panic Gogo lashed out and kicked the man in the shins from where she sat.
His shot went wide and harmlessly hit the ground instead.
Varian dove for cover once more as the leader of the outlaws ran away, and headed towards them instead.
"Give me that, you dingus!" Joe hissed as he grabbed the gun from Jeff's hand, before Gogo could do anything else.
Jeff looked hurt by that remark but he didn't argue.
That's when the worst thing possible happened.
Joe ignored both Varian and Gogo and grabbed Honey Lemon instead. He pressed the gun against her temple and started to drag her back towards Weeping Hill, as the fire on the jeep began to die down.
Gogo jumped up to stop him but Jeff nabbed her from behind and held her aloft in the air, kicking and grunting fruitlessly.
"Alright you flea bitten, low down varmint!" Joe shouted as Honey Lemon tried to escape his grasp. "Come on out and surrender, or the girl gets it!"
For a few harrowing seconds, nothing happened.
Then slowly, Varian came out of his hiding place. He raised hands and limped towards the center of the gorge.
"That's it. Now drop that… that thing in your hand." Joe ordered.
 Varian hesitated.
"I said drop it." Joe hissed as he twisted Honey Lemon's arm and shoved the gun harder against her head.
He tossed the amber down on the ground between them.
Then it felt like everything happened in slow motion.
Gogo screamed as Joe turned the gun on Varian.
A laser bolt shot out, the glass on his goggles shattered, and then Varian fell to the ground without a sound.

Writing Snippets--10/11/2022
More on that time-travelling Obake AU, having a nice run on it so I’m riding it until it’s done. ovo/
“Oh dear, two Kreis—better play it safe then.”
Which was when both of them went down to bolos wrapping around them, several funky drones fading into existence.
And then Hiro was tugging some cloth off of him and Obake, grinning brightly.  “Surprise!”
“Hey!” taxi-Krei protested. “What are you doing tying me up!?”
“Safety precaution,” Obake said, toying with a remote and having the drones circle them.  “We’ll just keep you both busy until the police arrive.  Unless, of course, you can prove you’re who you say you are.”
“I—of course I’m Alister Krei you idiot!”
“Hey!” Aunt Cass barked.
“There’s at least one person who’d contest that,” Obake said, totally ignoring the jab.  “Tell me something only the real Krei would know.”
“Like what?” taxi-Krei demanded.
“Date of birth, social security number—”
“Obake,” Tadashi said warningly.
“Secretary’s real name,” Hiro suggested, grinning, something remarkably like Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak wrapped around his shoulders and hiding most of him still.
Taxi-Krei started to respond—paused, obviously having to think about it.  “It started with a J,” he tried.
“It’s JUDY!” building-Krei snapped at him.  “Her name is Judy and she wears glasses—it’s not that hard to remember, ESPECIALLY when the song exists!”
“What song?”
“’Judy in Disguise with Glasses,’” Obake said.  “Also, Mel.”
“Sorry,” building-Krei sighed.  “That’s been building up for a while.”
Yeah there’s actually a song called “Judy in Disguise (with Glasses)” by John Fred and his Playboy Band--I can imagine why disney didn’t want to pay for the rights to reference it, though.
Also yes Hiro’s totally keeping the invisibility cloak.

So ... What does "Muira-Horror !!" mean for the series? A discussion about the episode.
Spoilers for the second season of Big Hero 6.
So, yeah, this episode was pretty intense and scary. Not only that, it brings a number of serious implications to the fate of the show. So let's go!
The most obvious is that Hiro will finally begin to suspect Liv and his sinister intentions. As we saw at the end of the episode, he managed to pick up one of the nanoreceptors that Amara transformed into an immediate and temporary form of transformation. This is useful for her, since she does not need to capture the victim and is much faster, besides she can control in the same way, losing control only if someone removes it.
He is not sure of that, but he has strong suspicions which leads to a much more sinister and important topic that I will address later.
Not only that, Liv is increasingly insane and psychotic. In "Pray Date" it has already been shown that she does not have any kind of remorse at killing to protect her plans, as in how she almost did it with two teens who interfered in their plans, which in itself is disturbing. However, in "Muira-Horror !!", she not only had plans to assassinate Hiro, Krei and Gogo, but took that as a bonus, even if they did not even know of her plans. This reveals that Liv is a cold-blooded killer and does it for pleasure, like the crazy psychopath she is.
Besides, Liv now also has Bessie. As I said in another post, meteors have with them not only magnetic fields, but biological and chemical space materials. There, in space, unlike Earth, there are extremely radioactive materials, many of which here could not be produced or maintained alone. And what she now possesses may be:
A biotech energy source that it can use.
A radioactive raw material to leave its transformations permanent since only DNA with a high radiation rate changes and Liv needs a way for her guinea pigs to stay alive.
Or it may be some form of conscious life that Amara can use to mutate more people.
Not only that, we discovered that Chris was made by Liv! This explains the blind loyalty and the fact that he punches a freaking robot and does not bleed! A robot or something that Liv created? I do not know, but since she has Bioengineering skills, Liv may have created a bionic human, so he does not short for Bessie.
We have also seen that Krei is not a complete idiot, but has hobbies and a sad and lonely past, explaining his actions and showing that he is not pure evil. What I'm loving in the series, BH6 is showing how Krei, Liv, Gogo, Karmi and others have nuances! From how you are more than the obvious and who should not judge yourself the book by the cover, and I am thriving as the main cover is from someone seen as annoying!
Now, let's go to the elephant in the room, yeah !!!
We know Liv used to transform Ned was one of the nano receivers Karmi invented.
Tumblr media
However, it is more than obvious that Liv modified them and that Karmi does not know anything of it or it is part of the plan to have it alive, since Liv did not hesitate to architect his death when he saw her interfere, unlike Obake that even the assassination attempts on Hiro were planned. In "Pray Date" was not only established the personality of Liv, but also of Karmi. Despite everything we have seen, she is an unselfish, heroic and courageous person, and is incapable of deliberately seriously injuring anyone. Throughout the episode, Karmi did not focus on saving herself, on the contrary, she worked ceaselessly in pursuit of a cure for Knox and put her own check security several times in the name of someone who was literally hunting her! Facing Liv herself to save Knox's life because she saw that she could be saved and still not minding not to get credit for it. Karmi is the perfect opposite of Liv Amara. While Liv seeks to modify people for nefarious reasons, no matter how much they suffer, acting cold, selfish and homicidal, Karmi has as the core of their motivations to help others, putting their lives at stake and seeing each being as worthy to live, never resorting to violent attitudes, example when in "Big Problem" she sedated Orso, not hurting him in any way. Another opposite is in the first impressions, Karmi seems to be harsh, irritating, with antisocial attitudes, with the passage of time and in the series however, we see the true one, selfless, worried and even sweet. Liv on the other hand, at first glance, seems to be sympathetic, approachable and benevolent, but but she turns out to be cruel, manipulative, and evil. As we saw in "Muira-Horror !!"
The point is: Karmi does not know that her inventions are being used for evil or that Liv herself is evil. And the impact of it on her character can be disastrous, not that shecan be bad, but the opposite. Karmi is selfless and emotional, she would not hesitate to sacrifice herself for others and Liv knows it. Liv also knows that Karmi is intelligent and possibly the only one who can rival her mutations, since no one else on the team and even Honey, who is a chemist, does not know how to reverse cellular experiments and Amara can take advantage of that.
What am I talking about?
That Liv Amara can use Karmi's guilt and regret against her.
Liv is a psychopath and manipulative sociopath who does not hesitate to even kill and Karmi has a strong sense of duty and help to others. She would be devastated to know that her invention made so much chaos and suffering possible and would do everything in her power to fix it. Which probably leads me to a bleak but possible thought: Liv will ask for the death and / or surrender of Karmi in return for the city or someone she cares for safely.
This would be advantageous for Liv who would have the only person capable of reversing her evil out of the game and would be sure of that, since Karmi would do anything not to be the cause of someone's suffering even if she was killed in the process.
Not only that, Liv would hit someone else in the process.
Has anyone ever found it strange how Liv never cares about Big Hero 6? Unlike Obake, Liv follows her plans as if they did not even exist! She was very pleased to kill Hiro in this episode, perhaps out of rancor for what happened in "Pray Date", but she never shows any concern. Maybe she's too presumptuous to assume she'd be discovered? Perhaps.
But what strikes me is how Hiro seems concerned to find the nanoreceptor. He's suspicious, yes. But, he always has concern in his face, since he knows where to get answers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why?
Because he knows what that means. He knows it will drag Karmi into the whole mess. And he does not want that. As a hero, the last thing he wants is to drag a civilian into the mix and guess what? Liv would have a huge advantage (and he's already, honestly) dragging civilians into the mess. She gave an internship to Karmi, and now we know it was for Amara to steal and hone her technology without suspicion, which puts her right in the front line of this confrontation. The fuse is Karmi discovering the true colors of Liv. And when that happens, and it will happen, it will be at the top of the execution list. Because, as I and several other people have said before, Liv wants Hiro, anyone who disrupts his plans, out of action. And if this person is someone who knows how to reverse what she did, Amara will not bother to end the threat personally. Even if it means destroying a 16-year-old girl who does not want to do anything but help, because she does not want setbacks, whatever the cost.

Wasn’t able to get my Ron Perlman piece signed because he canceled, but Alan Tudyk seemed to really like the one I did for him. He even busted out the Ludo voice for me.
The Tim Curry piece I did will be signed, but he doesn’t do that at conventions so it’ll be sent back to me in a few weeks.
Just as a side note, while most people in Alan Tudyk’s line were getting Firefly or Star Wars stuff signed, I saw a lot of Hei Hei merch being brought in too. Which is amusing I guess.

Possible Hero 6
Tumblr media
Evening folks Chapter 4 is here, sorry for the unfortunate delay I’ve been a little occupied with uni work. Plus I’ve been to see the Sonic the Hedgehog film, loved it loved the references and the action scenes, it defiantly deserves a sequel heck the games could learn from some aspects of it. Now without further delay heres chapter 4 of Possible Hero 6
I don't own the characters in this story this is just for fun!
Kim Possible & Big Hero 6 (c) Disney, 2020
Chapter 4: Train up Hero style!
Things couldn’t be any worse for Big Hero 6 not only did their mystery villain thief AKA Shego escaped from them, twice and Momokase escaping as well with her intentions unknown. Now they return to Hiro’s garage to find Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable waiting for them, this could only mean one thing.
“Hiro?” Hiro said but then coughed and straightened up. “Sorry Miss, uh Possible but I have no idea what your talking about.” He then acted.
“Yeah, Ki.. uh, complete stranger who we have only met once at the…”
“Okay drop the poor acting Fred.” Kim said interrupting Fredzilla.
“You, mean you…” Wasabi guessed.
“Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Gogo, Fred Frederickson, Hiro Hamada and of course Baymax.” Kim pointed to each member of the team in a Batman like style which confirmed that she knew their secret identities.
Everyone looked at each other in worry wondering what this could mean for the teams future.
“Oh guys it’s so not the drama, your secrets safe with me.” Kim then assured.
So one by one each member of BH6 removed their helmets/masks revealing their true identities and Honey Lemon put her glasses back on her face.
“So how’d you know it was us?” Hiro asked.
“Well for starters when I first saw Big Hero 6 and the tech they were using I could see that it looked a lot similar to each of your friends majors.” Kim began to explain. “Chemistry, mag lev suspension, laser induced plasma and of course Freds super hero theme all applied with the use of robotics, which with Hiro being a super genius could engineer.”
The team listened with interest and Ron as always was impressed by Kim’s deductive skills.
“Plus when you told me that robot gauntlet was a souvenir from Alister Krei I could tell by your micro expressions that you were lying.” Hiro could only rub his neck in embarrassment as Gogo glared.
“And the final thing being, Tadashi’s death, his connection to the fire at SFIT and Professor Callaghan AKA Yokai. The fact being that Big Hero 6 appeared during his attack on Krei tech that day. Plus the coloured visors they’re terrible identity concealers.” Kim finished.
Everyone’s jaws dropped with amazement how could she have put together all the dots in such a way to find out their identities.
“Wow very impressive.” Gogo said with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah told you she could do anything.” Ron added.
“Yeah that and being the daughter of a rocket scientist and brain surgeon doesn’t hurt.” Kim then added.
“But I’m surprised that you were obviously followed all the way here and didn’t even notice, you’ve got to work on your security training.”
“Wow, we do need to keep our eyes open or we’ll be blind.” Said a drunk Baymax.
“Uh is he okay?” Ron asked. “Uh yeah he’s just low on batteries.” Hiro explained.
Soon Baymax was out of his armour and on his charging station recharging his batteries. He begins to reinflate as he recharges. Meanwhile the rest of the team talk things over with Team Possible.
“So, now that you know are you going to tell my aunt Cass about this?” Hiro asked with worry.
“No I’m....” “it’s just if she ever found out about this she’d literally put me under house arrest she worries a lot like a lot and.” Hiro said interrupting Kim.
“Hiro!” Kim said getting his attention. “I’m not going to tell anyone about your identities.”
“Oh.” Hiro said. “Actually when I first heard about Big Hero 6 I started doing some research I’ve seen the work you’ve done to help people and I’m pretty impressed how you’ve handled supervillains and kept the city safe.” Kim explained.
“But I do want to know why you decided to become super heroes in the first place?” She then asked. “Yeah I mean every super hero has a cool origin story.” Ron added as Rufus nodded his head.
Hiro took his time to answer but knew that since Kim and Ron now knew who they were that it was time to share why they do what they do.
“Tadashi.” Hiro said then turned his attention to Baymax. “Show them Baymax.”
Baymax’s chest monitor then lit up and began showing his video logs of Hiro’s brother building Baymax.
“This is Tadashi Hamada.” He said introducing himself. Kim and Ron looked at the screen as did the rest of the team.
“And this is the first test of my robotics project.” Tadashi then said holding up a black board with the words test 1 on it and he began testing his invention.
“Hello, I am Baymax.....” Suddenly Baymax’s voice generated feedback which nearly deafens Tadashi.
“Stop, stop stop stop!” Tadashi said as he quickly shut Baymax off.
Kim saw who exactly this was whilst Ron was all but puzzled. However he saw the looks on the faces of everyone watching the video and could see some of them were happy and nearly brought to tears by the sight of this.
“So is that...” “Yeah that’s Tadashi.” Hiro answered Rons question.
The footage then moved onto the next entry log of the tests.
“The seventh test of my robotics project.” Tadashi announced. He then activated Baymax to test him again.
“Hello, I am Baymax.” Baymax said but suddenly began punching Tadashi with his inflated hands his left hand then flew off like a balloon quite literally.
Tadashi held onto Baymax to try and get him to stop.
“Wait wait stop scan stop!” Tadashi exclaimed.
The next log showed Tadashi was completely exhausted, with bags under his eyes completely sleep deprived.
“Tadashi Hamada again, and this is the thirty third test of my robotics project. He then said tired out.
Suddenly there was a spark and it completely took out the lights in his lab rendering leaving him in complete darkness.
Tadashi then shines a torch  and looks over his creation though he was looking doubtful of making it work he wasn’t one to quit.
“I’m not giving up on you.” Tadashi sighed. “You don’t understand this yet but people need you, so let’s get back to work.” Tadashi said shutting down Baymax to begin testing again.
Kim just looked at the video in awe, she knew that Hiro’s brother built Baymax but didn’t know he saw difficulties doing it he persisted not giving up. She had to admit she was starting to admire him.
The footage then moved to the next log it was the afternoon and Tadashi was looking a little tired after working hard through the night.
“This is Tadashi Hamada, and this is the 84th” Tadashi sighed before continuing. “Test, what do you say big guy?”
Tadashi activates Baymax and waits for another fault.
“Hello, I am Baymax your personal healthcare companion.” Baymax said.
Tadashi could only look in complete shock and surprise to see that his creation was operational and working.
“It works.” He breathed. “IT WORKS!” Tadashi then shouted. ‘This is amazing! You, you work!” He said kissing Baymax in joy dancing with delight and excitement.
“I knew it I knew it I knew iiiit!” He squealed. “You work I can’t believe it!”
Ron nudged Kim’s shoulder and saw that there was a lone tear running down Hiro’s face and they could tell that he missed his brother.
“Alright, alright big moment here.” Tadashi said as he stepped back ready for the biggest test of all.
“Scan me.” Tadashi said and Baymax did as he was asked.
“Your Nero transmitter levels are elevated, this indicates that you are happy.” Baymax diagnosed.
“I am I really am.” Tadashi said in joy. “Oh man, wait till my brother sees you, your going to help so many people buddy.”
Honey Lemon hugged Gogo slightly whilst Wasabi put a hand on Fred’s shoulder.
“So.. many, that’s all for now, I’m satisfied with my care.” Tadashi said with a smile. The recording then ended and there was a minute of silence before Hiro broke it.
“He wanted to help a lot of people, he cared, that’s why he worked so hard to create Baymax.” Hiro said gesturing you his robot friend.
“So you became superheroes to, honour his memory?” Ron asked.
“Well it didn’t really start that way at first, we did this to just catch the guy responsible for his death.” Hiro explained as the rest of his friends came over.
“But after we saved everyone at Krei tech then after I enrolled at SFIT and stopping an army of rouge Baymaxes.” Hiro said. Kim could see where this was going.
“The last thing that Tadashi ever said to me was, someone has to help.” Hiro explained. “So, that’s what we decided to do.”
“Yeah Tadashi was our best friend, in a way his dream lives in all of us.” Honey Lemon added.
Kim couldn’t help but smile at what she’d just heard, she knew they had the best of intentions and couldn’t help but relate to that sure when she first started out she didn’t ask to be a hero but after saving a billionaire collector and many other things after that, she knew this was her path.
“I see, well I know you guys have the best of intentions but Shego isn’t like most villains you’ve faced.” Kim then said.
“I thinks that’s pretty obvious.” Wasabi said with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah even with our tech we have no way to fight her.” Honey Lemon said. “Come on guys we can’t just give up!” Gogo argued.
“Yeah didn’t stop us before won’t now!” Fred said standing dramatically.
“With our current skills I calculate our chances 0.000” Baymax explained. “Baymax no need for the number crunching.” Hiro said.
The team could see they would need to do something to be able to handle the likes of Shego but Kim seemed confident about what to do in this situation.
“No big guys we can handle Shego and Drakken just leave this to us.” Kim said. “Ron, Rufus let’s go.”
“Right behind you KP.” Ron said Hiro was all but shocked to see they were going to stop Shego by themselves however they had been following the case too and they couldn’t just let this go after tonight.
“Hold on!” Hiro said getting the duos attention.
“We’re coming too.” Hiro said standing forward.
“It’s okay guys we got this.” Ron assured. “No.” Hiro said with confidence. “We have to help, my brother would have.”
“Besides San Fransokyo is our turf, we’re not going to stand by and let this green lady or her boss wreck it.” Gogo said. “So you’ll need our help, like it or not.”
“Yeah.” Said the rest of the team. In response to that the teen hero could only smile in response.
“Good, that was actually a test, to see how committed you were to what you do, and I’m happy to say you’ve passed.” Kim said. “We could use help navigating this city.”
Hiro could only smile in pride and relief. “Oh yeah I’m sensing a super hero team up!” Fred said practically jumping up and down in excitement.
“Okay geek cool your jets.” Gogo said. “Yeah we still need a plan to take on this Shego.” Wasabi agreed.
“Well maybe it’s best if we first get our facts straight.” Hiro said gesturing to his board of all the locations that Shego has robbed over the past week.
“Hiro, you are due to wake up in 2 hours, sleep is recommended.” Baymax said
“I guess your right Baymax we’ll talk more in the morning.” Hiro agreed to which Kim nodded because even heroes need their sleep.
Drakken’s lair
Meanwhile as San Fransokyo slept Drakken’s evil mind was at work using the equipment stolen he began assembling something in his lair. All the while his henchmen were moving the components into place.
“Now thanks to those plans we stole from the Krei tech servers our plans are now moving into place.” Drakken said as he worked. “Soon the world shall know my name and tremble before my genius! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“So you’ve said the last 23 times Dr.D.” Shego said filing her nails. “Quiet Shego your harshing my mellow!” Drakken said harshly.
“Yeah yeah whatever.” Shego said when she continued to do her nails. Suddenly an alert sounded from her phone and she looked to see she had received an email, from an anonymous sender. She opened it only to reveal a strange monster symbol in purple on her phone and then.
“Greetings, I have a proposition I’d like to discuss with you  Miss Shego, I’ve attached directions come alone.” Said a voice from the phone. The message then disappeared.
Shego was very much surprised, how could someone know her contact details only Drakken knew that, but at the same time she wanted to know how someone could find her. There was only one way to find out.
The Water front San Fransokyo bay:
In the dark of the night fog surrounded San Fransokyo harbour all was quiet in the air soon a figure arrived at the waterfront she was wearing a dark green jacket brand new Club Banana. It was Shego, she had to admit she was a little skeptic about this meeting but was never the less curious.
It wasn’t clear but she could make out a faint light in the dark it was neon purple and it looked like a thin one sided skull face.
The fog cleared to reveal Obake standing in the fog.
“I see you decided to come.” Obake said smirking.
“Okay, you got my attention what do you want.” Shego demanded.
“Oh I have been watching you for a while my dear, and I merely wanted to meet someone of great potential.” Obake said simply.
“Watching me?” Shego asked. “Yes, ever since you and your employer Dr.Drakken arrived in the city.” Obake said. “And I must say the power you have has a lot of potential, potential such as that shouldn’t be wasted on an amateur like him, for you see there is no limit to the potential you have, I learned that from an old friend of mine long ago” Shego listened you what this stranger had to say and a small part of her couldn’t wonder if he was right.
“ That is why when the opportunity arose I decided to test you’re potential against another with similar ambitions.” Obake then said.
“Wait you sent that ninja lady!” Shego said in surprise. “Yes you see in truth I had no interest with that hard drive, I merely sent her to test your abilities against her. However the arrival of Miss Possible and Big Hero 6 did complicate things it did prove how much potential you have.” Obake said.
“You said you had a preposition for me, what’s that supposed to mean?” Shego asked.
“Why to merely have you consider what I’ve said, and to provide you with the means to expand your potential.” Obake said as he stood aside to reveal a small black crate. Shego was all but curious at this point.
“Consider this a gift.” Obake said as he walked away.
“Oh and if and when this scheme of your employers goes awry, you’ll know how to find me.” Obake said as the left side of his face glowed and disappeared into the mist.
Shego used her powers to give a light in the mist to look for the stranger but couldn’t find him all that was left was the small black crate that he left for her. Being curious she opened the crate and found something inside, something that intrigued her.
The following morning
As the sun shon on a new morning in San Fransokyo Kim and Ron were making their way to the Lucky Cat Cafe. They entered the cafe to see Cass seeing to her customers.
“Morning Cass.” Kim called. “Oh morning Kimmie” Cass greeted. “Please Cass call me Kim.” Kim insisted. “Oh sorry your mother still washes off on me, even after high school.” Cass said.
“Right so is Hiro around?” Ron asked. ‘“Oh of course Ron he’s in his garage with Baymax Gogo and the others just recently got here.” Cass said.
“Right thanks” Kim thanked as she walked through to the back. “So how do you handle being...” Kim quickly pulled Ron away before he could blurt out anything.
In the garage, the team was gathered, Hiro was working at his computer whilst Baymax scanned Gogo.
“Gogo, you appear to have fully recovered from your minor concussion.” Baymax said.
“Thanks Baymax but I’ve taken worse falls than that.” Gogo thanked.
“So guys is anyone but me excited for this super team up with Kim Possible!” Fred said bouncing round in excitement.
“Fred calm down.” Wasabi said. “Yeah besides this is a collaboration.” Gogo said. “Yeah to take down a common enemy.” Fred said “classic super hero team up, just like the time Captain Fancy teamed up with another super hero to take down their arch foes who teamed up!”
“You read Captain Fancy?” Called a voice and they turned to see Kim and Ron standing in the garage doorway.
“Oh hey guys.” Honey Lemon greeted. “Glad you could make it.” Hiro said.
“Now, let’s have the sitch about what Shego’s been doing in the city.” Kim said.
Soon Hiro pulled out his large board from the back of his garage showing all the Krei tech facilities that Shego has hit over the past week.
“Okay, over the last week Krei tech has had several break ins at their warehouses in the city and we’ve been tracking them.” Hiro explained.
“Yeah and at each one different things were stolen tech pieces both cybernetic and mechatronics.” Gogo then explained.
“At first we thought it might have been one of our enemies like maybe Momakaske or Yama.” Wasabi added.
“But it was actually Shego, who’s been taking these items for Drakken.” Kim eventually surmised.
“Yeah so what’s the deal with that blue skinned guy?” Fred asked.
“Right best you guys know what your dealing with, but it’s best to late Wade snow you.” Kim said.
“Who’s Wade?” Asked Honey Lemon. Then all of a sudden the holo computer near the front of the garage lit up showing Wade in his room at the computers.
“That’s me” Wade said startling everyone.
“Guys, this is Wade our resident super genius and our secret weapon.” Ron introduced. “Wade meet Big Hero 6” Ron then gestured to the team in the garage.
“Dude!” Hiro panicked. “Guys relax Wade can keep a secret.” Kim assured chuckling. “Yeah plus Hiro, he’s a super genius like you and graduated college at 13.” Ron added.
“All are true.” Wade said. “Well okay, I’m Hiro.” Hiro introduced.
“Hello I am Baymax.” Baymax introduced with a wave.
“That’s Gogo.” Hiro gestured and she just blew a bubble gum ball. “He’s Wasabi” “How you doing” Wasabi greeted. “That’s Honey Lemon.” “Hello there.” Honey Lemon greeted.
“And I’m Fred” Fred said introducing himself.
“Pleasure guys been reading up on you guys pretty impressive.” Wade complimented.
“Okay Wade show them everything we have on Drakken and Shego.” Kim said.
“Right showing files now.” Wade typed in some commands on his keyboard and showed files on Drakken and Shego.
“Well as you guys have probably guessed Shego is an ex superhero gone rouge, and she works with Dr. Drakken.” Kim explained. “Drakken is your typical mad scientist who wants to conquer the world, he never does though. His real name is Drew Lipsky he was once a friend of my Dad in college.”
“Wait he was a friend of your dads!” Hiro said in surprise.
“Oh.. a twist I’m liking this origin story more and more.” Fred said sitting down on a chair. Gogo just nudged him.
“Yeah but he dropped out when he couldn’t build a good robot and his friends laughed at him.” Kim added.
“Classic!” Fred said. “But what’s with the blue skin?” Wasabi asked. “Maybe he turned blue with sadness.” Honey Lemon guessed.
“Blue skin is often what happens when someone holds their breath for a long period of time.” Baymax diagnoses with a diagram on his chest monitor.
“I have a theory.” Fred said with a knowing finger pointing up. “When he was laughed out he must’ve accidentally fallen into a vat of chemicals which turned his skin blue and made him a little insane.”
Everyone looked in surprise, to what Fred just said Baymax just blinked.
“Wow that’s actually a good theory.” Wade said in surprise.
“Yep never underestimate the power of comic books” Fred said proudly.
“Okay, so back to the matter of Shego, what could she want with these components?” Hiro said.
“Knowing Drakken it could be another one of his take over the world schemes.” Kim said. “Now they know you guys are onto them we’ll need to work together to stop them and figure out what they’re up to.”
“Great, but don’t we need a plan we haven’t fought someone like Shego before.” Wasabi asked.
“Well you guys are good and judging by the security footage you stood your ground against Shego, but you need to learn how to fight better to stand a chance against foes like her.” Kim explained.
“So I’m going to train you guys how to fight and how to better use your tech in team work.”
“Oh yeah! IT’S SHUGYO TIME!” Fred exclaimed taking a kung fu training pose. “To the mansion!”
Fred’s Mansion the gardens
Soon everyone was gathered in Fred’s back garden which was rather large with very Greek like architecture structures and statues. Everyone was now dressed in training attire; Hiro wore a white shirt with his normal pants and sneakers, Wasabi was in his yoga gear which was a green shirtless vest with black pants and shoes. Gogo just wore her white shirt with her black pants and leggings. Honey Lemon was in her yoga gear and both were bare foot. Fred meanwhile was in a training suit.
“Dude this back yard is huge!” Ron said in amazement with Rufus looking wide eyes.
“Yeah we train here with our suits sometimes.” Fred explained “You see that statue over there.” Fred then gestured to what was left of a statue that was destroyed by something.
“Baymax wrecked it with his rocket fist when we first got our suits.” Fred then explained.
“Whoa!” Rufus squeaked. “But weren’t your parents tweaked about that?” Ron said concerned.
“Nah my dad didn’t like that anyway it was imported from someplace called the Southern Isles they didn’t want it for some reason so my mom bought it.”Fred then added.
“Alright guys gather up.” Kim called who was now dressed in training gear of her own which was comprised of a pink short sleeved crop top, dark pink yoga pants and sneakers with a grey shirt underneath. Everyone soon gathered as she placed down some training gear such as punching pads.
“Okay guys in order to stop your opponent you first need to know more about how they fight.” Kim explained. “So when you first fought Shego what did you see?”
“Shes fast.” Hiro said “Mean!” Fred said “Fights dirty” Gogo then added. “Loves the colour green” Honey added. “And uses plasma blasts!” Wasabi then said.
“All good answers.” Kim said with a thumbs up. “Shego’s style is all about attack and going on the offensive, and yes she uses energy blasts which trust me sting if you get hit.”
“Got that notion.” Gogo said remembering her fight with her last night.
“So, how do we fight someone like that?” Honey Lemon asked. “By learning how to fight better and use teamwork.” Kim said “Now lets get you guys in fighting shape.”
(Music Starts: Call me Beep me Sadie Stanley)
Kim holds up some punching pads in her hands and Gogo begins punching them followed by some kicks and Kim manages to block them all. Soon she and Wasabi are facing each other on the grass. Kim motioned for Wasabi to come at her, though he was a little hesitant at first he knew this was training so he charged forwards and threw a few punches which Kim dodged and then grabbed Wasabi’s arm and flipped him onto his back.
Hiro was lasting a little longer when training against Kim she threw a few punches and kicks whilst Hiro avoided some of them and Hiro threw a few punches of his own. However Kim did a leg swipe and tripped Hiro up.
He looked up and saw Kim offering a hand smiling which he took.
Ron meanwhile sat on the sidelines with Rufus, Mini max and Baymax. Those who weren’t training namely Hiro, Wasabi and Fred were sat resting and with towels.
Meanwhile Kim was doing a two on one with Honey Lemon and Gogo, they came at Kim with punches and kicks which Kim was able to block, and gave advice whilst doing so.
“Remember coordinate like a team.” Kim said between kicks and punches. So the two responded by working as a team Gogo slipped past Kim whilst Honey Lemon threw a roundhouse kick and Gogo came up from behind and performed a leg swipe tripping Kim up who was quick to recover. She looked to the two impressed knowing they were learning. She then came in with back flips and then performed several round house kicks.
From his viewing point Hiro was amazed by Kims fighting skills but given she said she was a cheerleader it did help a little, however when he looked to Baymax an idea soon sparked in his head.
Later at the garage, Hiro was typing at his holo computer keyboard and was looking at recordings of their training session and Kims fighting skills. He knew exactly what to do with this. However, he then noticed Rufus was in the lab and looking at Baymax’s armour lying around and he saw the little mole rat was pretending he was firing rocket fists from his hands. Hiro could only chuckle a little but he then got an idea and so slid his chair over to the rear desk and picked up a small scanning device.
“Hey Rufus.” Hiro called getting his attention. “Arms up and hold still.” He then said and Rufus a little confused held his arms up and Hiro scanned him creating a 3D render in his computer.
Back at the mansion Kim had set up an obstacle course for a training exercise the course consisted of several benches hoops and even a balancing beam.Fred was suited up in his Fredzilla suit. Kim then ran forward and performed some of her cheer leading moves back flips on the benches, swinging on the hoops and then bouncing on the beam to back flip and land on two feet. She then gestured for Fred to try.
“Oh yeah!” Fred said putting on the top half of his suit on then charged in. “SUPER JUMP!” He exclaimed. He performed a super back flip with the enhanced springs in his suit and then jumped and then swung round the hoops and launched forwards jumps on the board and finally span in a circle breathing fire from his suit and landed on the ground in a dynamic super hero pose!
Kim nodded in approval of Freds success. Soon she was facing Wasabi again and this time he was more confident in his hand to hand combat skills and was able to avoid Kims leg swipe and then performs a round house kick knocking her to the ground. She saw him offering a hand which she took. Hiro too was improving not only with his own knowledge of self defense compliments of his brother, but with Kims help.
He was able to avoid water blasts from water guns that Ron was firing at him from behind a cardboard cut out of Shego. Gogo who was now wearing her mag lev skates slide past all the water blasts grabbed Hiro’s hand and then swung him towards the target and gave it a round house kick.
Hiro and Gogo gave each other high fives. Back in the garage Hiro was transferring data to something and out of a disk burner came a small data chip coloured in green. He then placed Kims signature logo on the chip compliments of Wade. He then went over to Baymax and opened his access port revealing his health care and superhero chip.
“Okay buddy ready to take it to the next level.” Hiro asked. “Doing shugyo makes me a better health care companion.” Baymax replied and so Hiro placed the chip into Baymax which then retracted into his chest.
Soon everyone was taking a break from their training and soon Hiro arrived with Baymax armoured up. Hiro then laid out some small devices in the garden and then opened his laptop typed in several commands and then Wade appeared on his desktop.
“Okay Wade let it rip!” Hiro said “Right initiating training exercise.” Wade said as he typed in several commands and then activated devices which then projected holograms of several villains including Baron Von Steamer, Shego, High Voltage and Duff Killigan.
“Baymax Go!” Hiro said and Baymax responded by rocketing forward and the holograms became aware. Holo Steamer fired a huge blast of steam which Baymax then formed his wings flew up into the air then came slamming down to the ground fist first, knocking the hologram to the ground.
Holo High Voltage then attacked, and Baymax was quick to avoid it and rocket forwards performing a round house kick then saw Shego coming and backflipped over her back and in slow-motion fired his rocket fist from his left hand and knocked down the two holograms in one shot.
Kim was all but amazed by Baymax’s abilities and noticed how his fighting style was similar to hers, she then remembered how Hiro told her he’d made a chip full of combat programs for the original Baymax (the one Tadashi built) when they were starting out. So it was clear he had programmed him with her skills.
Holo Duff then fired some explosive golfballs and Baymax quickly reacted by deflecting two with his left hand then jumped into the air rolled into a ball then kicked away the next three that holo Duff fired which didn’t hit him but Baymax then landed in front of him and then just looked down on him.
“Aye I surrender!” Said Holo Duff and with that Wade and Hiro ended the exercise and the hologram disappeared.
(Music ends)
“Whooo!” Fred said in excitement. “That was amazing Baymax!” Honey Lemon said. “Not bad.” Gogo said. “Boyah Baymax!” Ron said excitedly.
“Spankin job big guy.” Kim congratulated. Baymax then turned round to Kim and lifted up his right fist.
“Uh..” Kim said confused. “Now we fist bump.” Baymax then said blinking.
“Wait you know how to fist bump?” Kim said with a raised eyebrow. “Yes Hiro taught it to me.” Baymax replied.
“Yeah I kinda did.” Hiro said rubbing the back of his neck.
“Come on KP just go with it.” Ron suggested. “Don’t leave him hanging”
Kim decided to just listen to Ron and the others and so.
“Okay.” Kim then fist bumped with Baymax. “Bah-la-la-la-la-la-la” Baymax then said wiggling his fingers in the air after the bump leaving Kim with an even more confused look than before.
Just then Kim’s Kimmunicator beeped and she answered it. “Go Wade.” She said.
“Kim you guys may want to check the latest news casts.” Wade advised then bringing up a news report from San Fransokyo and their reporter Duff Blunder was on the scene.
“This is Duff Blunder reporting live from San Fransokyo bridge where citizens are being attacked by what appears to be three individuals with jet packs.” Duff said through his microphone as he was on the bridge with panicking citizens. Suddenly dropping from the air came three armoured individuals two men and a woman each wore matching black armoured suits with grey underneath and red visors on their faces.
The first was a caucasian male with blonde hair and a muscular build, with a darker beard than his hair colour. The second was a dark skinned male who is bald and has a dark beard on his face and is more muscular than his compatriots. The woman was tanned skinned has long brown hair but a shaved off part on the right side of her head and wears red lipstick.
“I’ll take that thanks!” Jack said snatching the microphone off Duff blunder and looking into the camera.
“Hi there the names Jack, these are my compatriots Jaq and Jack” He said introducing his compatriots who took up action poses.
“Together we are the Mad Jacks, normally we’re mercenaries for hire but today we’re making an acceptation several months ago we were humiliated and defeated and so I hereby announce a challenge to Big Hero 6, unless they agree to face us at the bridge my associates and I shall detonate bombs at key points under the bridge.” Greg Jack announced
“So what’ll it be Heroes? you have two hours don’t keep us waiting.” Greg Jack said.
The team looked at the footage in shock especially Hiro and his friends.
“Old friends of yours?” Ron asked “Not exactly.” Hiro said.
“Yeah the Mad Jacks are villains we’ve faced before their an elite special ops unit who work for the highest bidder.” Fred explained.
“I’ve heard about them professional mercenaries for hire, and I thought Team Impossible gloated a lot.” Kim said.
“Well Hiro was able to help us stop them despite being sick and with a broken leg.” Wasabi then explained.
“Whoa talk about being a stubborn patient.” Kim pointed out. “Well if you think about it KP you went on a mission when we were full of a cold.” Ron pointed out remembering their Sick Day episode.
“So it looks like their back for a rematch.” Gogo said. “Then it’s time we put our training to the test.” Hiro suggested. “Hey guys care to give us a hand?”
“No need to ask we’re in.” Kim said confidently. “Okay guys suit up!” Hiro then announced.
The team each suited up in their armours and bore their gadgets, whilst Kim and Ron dressed in their normal mission clothes Kim span her hair dryer grappling hook round her finger then placed it into her belt pouch. Then Rufus appeared and Ron noticed he was wearing armour identical to Baymax’s except it was in the same colour scheme as Kims mission suit and he wore the armour on his chest and hands.
“Whoa Rufus sweet armour!” Ron said “Yep” Rufus squeaked. “Yeah saw him taking an interest in Baymax’s suit so I made him one of his own.” Hiro said and soon everyone was riding Baymax’s back as he rocketed across the city with his jet boosters.
Hiro rode on Baymax using his magnetic gloves and pads while Gogo, Honey Lemon and Kim held onto the wings while on Baymax. Rufus held onto Kim as well.
“Okay I’ll admit this is a killer view.” Kim said impressed. “Maybe if you were on his back!” Ron called as he and Wasabi were holding onto Baymax’s arms while he held onto Fred via his suit collar and he was posing like super man as Fred pretended to fly.
Ron wasn’t enjoying a single moment of this. “This is not cool man!” He said practically yelling.
“How’d you think I feel I’m terrified of heights!” Wasabi exclaimed to Ron.
Soon they were approaching their destination and the police were doing the best they could to barricade people off the bridge until the crisis was over.
“Look!” Called a woman and they saw Big Hero 6 and Team Possible arrive on the scene and the crowd cheered knowing the heroes had arrived.
Baymax landed on the bridge and the rest of the team disembarked, however there was no sign of the Mad Jacks anywhere.
“Where are they?” Honey Lemon said the rest of the team looked around but were a little cautious, Kim didn’t like the looks of this one little bit.
Baymax scanned the area for any sign of trouble and when he looked up he saw something alarming.
“Oh no” Baymax said and Kim looked up to see what he was alerting them about and her eyes widened in shock.
“LOOK OUT!” Kim shouted and everyone jumped out of the way of an incoming laser blast and were quick to avoid the impact. Everyone quickly recovered and got back up on their feet just as the Mad Jacks floated down using their jet packs.
“Well look who decided to show.” Said Jaq with a smirk.
“So you guys still sore about us beating you last time?!” Hiro said “Oh you mean how you outsmarted and humiliated us!” Greg Jack said with a smirk.
“Well now it’s payback time!” Jack grunted. “Oh and I see you have help, your going to need it.” Greg Jack said noticing the presence of Kim and Ron.
“Mad Jacks lets take em” Greg Jack yells and they fly in and attack, the team then scatter Hiro climbs aboard Baymax who takes to the sky after the three villains.
“Jack, Jaq, take care of the six on the ground I’ll take care of the big bot and their leader.” Greg Jack ordered. “Copy that!” Said the two Jacks. Baymax and Hiro began chasing Greg Jack in the sky whilst the rest of the team take on the other two.
The two Mad Jacks pull out their laser blasters and try to blast the team. Gogo and Honey Lemon jump to the left whilst Kim, Ron, Fred and Wasabi jumped to the right.
“We need to find those bombs if they go off everyone still on this bridge will be toast.” Gogo said.
Kim then reached for her Kimmunicator. “Wade scan for the bombs!” Kim said “Way ahead of you.” Wade said and after a few typing commands on his keyboard he soon heard a beep sounding that he found what he was looking for.
“Got it! They’re under the bridge on the centre support!” Wade relayed as he showed a diagram of the bridge.
“Wade put me through to Hiro!” Kim ordered. Meanwhile Hiro and Baymax were in a dog fight with Greg Jack who was trying to shoot them down with his laser bazooka.
“Eat laser bot!” Greg Jack exclaimed. Baymax was able to doge the blasts and Hiro held on to his back.
“Hiro you there!?” Kim said on the coms. “Yeah kinda busy!” Hiro replied. “We’ve located the bombs there under the bridge, near the centre support.” Kim relayed.
Hiro looked down to the bridge and with the scanner in his helmet scanned the bridge and zoomed in to see several bomb like devices attached to the bridge.
“I see them.” Hiro relayed.
Back on the bridge the rest of the team were contending with Jack and Jaq. Gogo used her mag lev skates to skate and avoid the blasts then jumps and throws her mag lev disks at Jack which he then deflects.
“That all you got speedy!” Jack exclaimed. “Okay time to use our training.” Gogo said
“Honey let’s ground these chumps.” Gogo said “ Thought you’d never ask.” Honey Lemon said as she typed in a formula on her chem-purse and made two chem balls and threw the, both at the bridge supports, they explode and expand into a splat wall of elastic goop.
(Music starts playing- Immortals Fallout boy)
Gogo then kneels down on all fours and revs up on her discs and launched herself forward into the ‘sling shot’ and pulled back all the way to the other end of the support until she was catapulted forwards into the air, heading straight for jack pulled back a fist then POW right in the face which sent him flying into the pillar at the far side of the bridge.
Gogo then skated as she landed on the ground and Honey Lemon rushed to her.
“Oh yeah Speed punch!” Gogo said “way to go Gogo!” Honey Lemon said giving her a high five. However they didn’t notice that Jaq was flying towards them.
“Guys heads up!” Ron called to them they turned and saw Jaq arming her arm cannons. “Your Jacked!” Jaq yelled but suddenly.
“SUPER JUMP!” Called a voice and she saw Fredzilla jumping in the air above her.
“FLYING DROP KICK!” Fred yelled and performed a drop kick mid air knocking Jaq to the ground. Honey Lemon peeped a Chem ball and tossed it to Ron. “Throw it Ron.” Homey said and so he threw it to the spot where Jaq landed and it created a pink goo ball trapping her inside.
“Grr!” Jaq growled as she couldn’t get out of the ball no matter what she tried.
“You just got gooped” Ron cracked. “Boo yah!” Rufus squeaked. He then noticed Kim was not with them. Kim was below the bridge using some magnetic discs. She held the Kimmunicator up to the bombs so that Wade could properly scan them.
“Kim I’ve got bad news!” Wade said. “Okay let’s hear it.” Kim asked.
“Well, the bad news is the bombs can’t be disarmed manually there’s about five different triggers.” Wade explained. “Is there a way to disable it?” Kim asked with worry.
“Yes disable the master detonator and that’ll disarm the bombs.” Wade surmised.
“Well where is the trigger?” Kim asked. “I’ll scan for it” Wade began scanning for the bomb trigger and soon found it.
“Oh boy.” Wade said
Baymax and Hiro were still in the air fighting Greg Jack who is chasing them with his laser bazooka Baymax was able to avoid the blast Hiro looks back and sees the Mad Jack behind them.
“Hiro there’s a way to disarm the bombs!” Kim relayed on the coms. “Okay what is it?” Hiro asked.
“The guy chasing you he has it, it’s located in his gauntlet on the left wrist.” Kim relayed. “Right that’s going to be a problem.” Hiro said seeing how Greg Jack was dead set on shooting the, down.
From the bridge Kim could see the issue and from her back pack forms her jet pack and rockets into the sky.
Back on the bridge the Police try to keep the crowd back within that crowd was Karmi who was trying to record what was happening. However she looked up to see Baymax and Hiro or as she knew them Captain Cutie and Red Panda fighting Greg Jack whilst the rest of the team deal with Jack who had regained consciousness. Then all of a sudden she saw a figure emerge fro, the bridge she zoomed in on it using her phones camera.
“No way is that!” Karmi gasped her phone camera showed her it was Kim Possible fighting alongside Big Hero 6 she couldn’t believe it.
Meanwhile Baymax launches his rocket fist at Greg Jack, who used his jet pack to avoid it then fires his blaster at them which Baymax quickly avoids it as his fist returns to him.
Then suddenly Greg Jack received a kick in the back delivered by Kim Possible he manages to stabilise himself and looked to see Kim just as Baymax flew next to her with Hiro.
“You got the drop on me impressive miss...” “The names Kim Possible, ring a bell.” Kim said answering Greg Jacks question.
“Oh yeah now I remember your the hero with a lame website it doesn’t even have a cool theme song.” Greg Jack cracked.
“Says the guys all called the same name, Greg” Hiro then cracked. “Wait your names Greg but your all called the Mad Jacks?” Kim asked “yeah it’s really a code name found that out when we first fought and won.” Hiro then added.
Greg Jack just growled with frustration. “Enough talk time to blast stuff!” He yelled as he blasted the two of them but they quickly avoided the blast.
He kept blasting the three heroes with his bazooka until finally he clipped the wing of Kim’s jet pack causing her to spin out of control.
“Kim!” Hiro yelled, Kim quickly managed to get her jet pack off but was still falling to the ground Baymax quickly rockets down after her and reaches out with his hand. Reacting quickly Kim pulls out her grappling hair dryer and fires it towards Baymax who grabs it and swings it round lifting her into the air for her to land on Baymax’s back.
Her grappling hook retracts leaving Hiro completely amazed.
“You always carry a hair dryer with you?” Hiro said in amazement.
“Never leave home without one, it’s saved me on multiple occasions not just life and death but also hair crisis.” Kim breathed.
Suddenly Baymax avoided another blast from Greg Jack and flew away as he chased him.
“He is still shooting at us.” Baymax said “no kidding, we’ve got to get that detenator!” Kim said to Hiro, “Then we’ll need to ground him.” Hiro suggested.
(Music ends)
Back on the ground Wasabi was using his plasma blades to deflect blasts from Jack who was recovered and blasting them with his wrist blasters. Ron was running quickly to avoid them.
“Yow, yikes!” Ron said avoiding the blasts. Fred then charged forwards and using his suits enhanced jumping skills he performed a triple back flip.
“Homey chem ball me!” Fredzilla said and she fired a pink chemball from her purse and on the third flip Fredzilla kicked the ball into Jack and the chemball exploded and stuck him to the ground.
“Boyah Fred!” Ron cheered. However their celebration was interrupted by the sound of laser fire they looked up to see Baymax, Hiro and Kim struggling against Greg Jack and getting the detonator from him.
“We’ve gotta help them!” Honey Lemon said. “They’re too high up and none of us can fly.” Gogo said knowing that Baymax was the only one on the team who could fly. Or was he?
Rufus pulled on Rons shirt and he saw that his mole rat friend was wearing armour similar to Baymax including its ability to fly.
“Wait, Rufus! You can help them!” Ron said and Rufus nodded and almost on cue wings emerged from his armour and he posed like superman and rocketed into the sky.
“Go get um!” Ron called which left the rest of the team skeptical looks as to how a small mole rat can help their friends.
Greg Jack is going all out trying to shoot Baymax down he was beaten by these heroes before there’s no way he was going to let this happen again it would be an insult to his profession.
However he felt a tap on his head and he turned to see a small pink rodent dressed up in armour with a jet pack.
“Whuh?” Greg Jack said in surprise. “Hello” Rufus squeaked he then kicks Greg Jack in the face who cries in. Pain as he got hit in the mouth Rufus quickly flies away and Greg tries to grab him but misses.
“Hold still you little..” Greg jack growled and Rufus just spits his tongue like a child which winds up the Mad Jack even more.
However he’s so focused on the armoured naked mole rat he neglected a certain someone coming right at him.
“Hey!” Called a voice and Greg Jack turns to see Baymax heading right for him with Hiro and Kim riding him. However strangely as Greg braces for impact he sees the flying red robot missed him as he flew right by.
“Ha! You missed!” He shouted. Suddenly Hiro lands on his back and then hits a button on Greg’s jet pack which releases it from his armour.
“Oh no...” Greg Jack gulped. “JACK DOWN AGAAAAIIIIIN!” He yelled as he fell to the ground and Hiro was falling right behind him but then Baymax swings in and Kim manages to grab him as they fly down and grab Greg Jack and lower him to the ground safely.
“Nice one guys!” Honey Lemon cheered just then Rufus hovers down and lands on Baymax’s shoulder who turns to see him.
“Flying makes you a better companion Rufus.” Baymax said and Rufus smiles and offers his tiny fist for a. “Fist bump” he squeaked.
Baymax raises his fist and they bump them.
“ “Bah-la-la-la-la-la-la” The two said. “So” said Greg Jack getting their attention. “You think this is over?”
“Uh yeah.” Kim said taking the detonator from the compartment in his gauntlet and presses a red button that said disabled. Below the bridge the bombs then deactivate.
“Your bombs are disabled, your revenge done.” Kim listed. ‘“Oh and look.” Kim then pointed and they saw a fleet of helicopters but they didn’t belong to the SFPD.
“There’s Global Justice already here to Cart you guys away to prison.” Kim then pointed out. “Seems you guys have worked for a number of people on their most wanted list and you’ve committed a number of offences on their radar.” She then explained.
“Yeah sounds like someone tipped them off.” Ron then added with a smirk.
“Grr how did you guys get so good!” Greg Jack then asked Big Hero 6.
“Easy ‘Greg’ we’ve been training.” Hiro smirked “with the best.” He said looking to Kim who could only smile.
Soon Global Justice took the three Mad Jacks away to be incarcerated at their jail facility, whilst an officer of GJ explained everything to the police officer at the scene.
“Okay guys seriously, were we awesome? Or were we totally AWSOME!” Fredzilla said in excitement.
“I’ll admit, that was cool we’ve never taken down an enemy of ours that easily before.” Gogo admitted.
“Yeah, did you see that sling shot move we did!” Honey Lemon bounced excitedly.
“Yeah I hereby dub that move the Slingshot Punch!” Fred said.
“Yeah not to mention I was totally alive out there!” Wasabi said. “What about me I was helping too I drew his fire!” Ron pointed out feeling left out.
“We acted very efficiently in neutralising the target.” Baymax diagnosed.
“We stopped the bombs, thanks to Rufus.” Hiro said thanking the Molerat.
“But Kim I have to know how did you know that the Mad Jacks were wanted by those GJ guys?” Hiro then asked.
“Oh that’s easy during the fight I had Wade do some research into them hacking their website..” “Cool theme some by the way.” Ron then interrupts Kim.
“...yeah anyway Wade found the list of a number of clients they’ve worked for in the past including a number of war lords, crime bosses and of course a few super villains.” Kim listed
“To cut a long story short forward the info to some fiends of ours in GJ and off to jail they go.” Kim finished.
“Wow, you really can do anything.” Hiro said impressed. Kim could only smile humbly by this compliment. Just then.
“Oh my, that was AWESOME!” Shrieks a voice and they turned to see Karmi standing behind them.
“An actually team up between Kim Possible and Big Hero 6!” Karmi said excitedly.
“Oh I’ve got to get a picture of this.” She then said holding up her camera phone to take a photo.
The nine heroes just stood bemused but decided to pose for a photo while Hiro just kept a natural expression. Karmi takes a photo showing her a photo of Big Hero 6 and Team Possible together.
“Oh I’m so writing a fan fic about this Captain Cutie teams up with teen hero Kim Possible!” Karmi said practically bouncing away in excitement and could already picture her fan fiction taking place featuring chibi versions of the team and Kim.
Hiro just grimaced at the thought of what she just said.
“Captain Cutie?” Kim smirked with a raised eyebrow “Don’t ask” Hiro groaned.
Meanwhile
Whilst events transpired at the bridge, far away in a old derelict warehouse on the dark side of town a lone figure stands alone in the darkness.
It was really Shego except something was different on her wrists she now wore metal gauntlet like devices with glowing green lines on them. Ever since her little meeting with Obake he left them for her as a ‘gift’. Though a little skeptical she decided to test his present somewhere away from prying eyes and she knew Drakken would just ask questions.
She looked at the gauntlets and they did seem to fit perfectly and surprisingly they didn’t clash with her outfit. However she was still unclear to their function.
“Alright let’s see what glow face’s toy can do.” She said to herself.
She infighter her powers as normal this then caused the gauntlets to activate which then caused her energy to glow brighter even her eyes started to glow a little.
She threw an energy blast at a crate in the warehouse and it immediately blew it into a million pieces. She was completely shocked.
“Whoa! My blasts were never that powerful?” She said in amazement. She looked to her gauntlets and when she touched one of the lines it took her energy and formed it into a blade comprised of her energy. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
She then smirked and swung her arm blade like a samurai and then with one swipe let loose a huge energy wave that completely incinerated two of the rear pillars.
She then bore a sadistic smile as her eyes glowed green and her hands burned with enhanced energy.
“Oh ho ho ho! Me likie.” She said “whoever that guy is he’s right it’s time to see what potential I have!” Shego said and let loose a huge blast of energy from her hands.
End of chapter 4
Whoa looks like Shego got an upgrade, looks like BH6 is gonna need that training Kim’s given them. Yes Obake has started to get involved in this story but still not the main villain (yet) The gauntlets were actually inspired by the KP 2019 live action film whilst they did make it look like the source of Shegos powers it didn't work for me so I’ve repurposed them as energy enhancers in this story. In terms of the Mad Jacks I always thought of them as the Team Impossible of the BH6 Universe except with more showmanship and cooler toys. So I was a bit gutted not seeing them in season 2 of the series lets hope they return for season 3 , but this did give me an idea revolving around their absence namely caught by higher authority. Chapter 5 coming soon.

Phantoms of the Past Chapter 37 - Ransoms and Romance on the Range - Part 2
Tumblr media
"No, no, no! Put your back into it Alister!" Allen shouted.
"Ugh!... huff... I'm trying too.." Krei grunted as he shoveled more manure onto the dump truck. He slipped and fell straight into the foul-smelling stuff. The teenagers that had been watching him broke into raucous laughter.
Mr. Allen hadn't been joking when he said he was going to put everyone to work. They were all given chores to do to help out around the ranch, and no one was considered an exception. Not even Allen himself, or his daughter, and certainly not Krei; who had been given the worst chores simply because he wouldn't stop whining about them.
Most of the Big Hero Six gang had decided to take a break from their duties to heckle the pompous billionaire, as Mr. Allen fruitlessly tried to instill some 'work values' into his thick skull. He wasn't having much success.
Honey Lemon failed to bite back her own giggles, as she saw Krei slipped a second time as he tried to get back up. She didn't want to be mean, but it was just too funny, especially after all of his insufferable bragging earlier at breakfast.
"Hehe... I think I'm going to head back to the house and grab a snack. Does anybody want something?" she asked.
"Nah, we're good," Hiro said, as she walked away.
Honey Lemon had finished her chores early that morning; feeding the horses and brushing them clean, and she, therefore, had most of the day to herself. She was just considering what else she wanted to do for the rest of the day when she passed by Varian and some of the other farm hands loading hay bales onto a tractor-trailer.
Whereas two men were usually required to lift one of the heavy bales, Varian was grabbing them and throwing them onto the trailer, all by himself, faster than the other two hired hands could carry even one.
Honey Lemon slowed. She knew Varian was stronger than he looked, but it only just occurred to her now how strong he really was. Apparently, she wasn't the only one to notice this impressive feat. She heard giggling to her right and saw Austin and her friends sitting on the fence across the way. All three of them were staring at Varian.
"Wow," The shorter girl next to Austin breathed. "You weren't kidding. He's hot."
"See I told you." Austin nudged her friend. "He ain't like the other prissy city guys that came over with him."
"I don't know, that tall guy in the green sweater was pretty buff." The other boy sitting next to her commented.
Austin rolled her eyes. "There's more to strength than just muscle, Zeb."
"Maybe so, but it's aesthetically pleasing to look at nonetheless," Zeb said with a sly smile, then he winked. "But, I can see the appeal behind the tall, dark, and handsome types."
Honey Lemon felt her ears burn. She didn't like the way this conversation was going. She started to hurry along back towards the house.
"Oh hush, Zeb." Austin playfully shoved her friend. "You don't know if he even likes guys."
"You don't know that he doesn't." Zeb shot back.
Austin spied Honey Lemon walking past them. "Then let's find out." She said returning her friend's sly smile.
"Yoo-hoo! Uh.. Honey wasn't it?"
Honey Lemon turned around to find the three teens chasing after her.
Austin had an insincere grin plastered on her face, while her two friends snickered behind her.
"We were just wondering, are you and Varian a thing?"
"Uh... a th-thing?"
"You know, are ya dating?"
"Oh! Oh no!" Honey Lemon nervously grinned as she shook her head.
"So he's free right?"
"Umm... yeeessss?"
"Is he into boys or girls?" Zeb butted in.
"I... I think he likes both..." Honey Lemon studdered.
Zeb and Austin shared a look. Zeb held his hand out to her. "May the best cowhand win, then."
"I plan to," Austin said as she shook his hand.
Honey Lemon's brow furrowed into a scowl. "He's not a prize."
This only elected more laughter from the trio.
"Oh, what's the matter string bean?" Austin teased, "Afraid we're going to steal your man away from ya?"
Honey Lemon's face flushed a bright crimson, but before she could retort back they heard Varian calling out to them from behind.
"Hey Honey!" He called out, as he joined them. He was covered in sweat and his clothes clung to him, despite the autumn chill in the air. "Whatchya up too?
"Oh Varian, I'd like for you to meet my friends." Austin chimed in before Honey Lemon could answer. "this is Zeb, he works here, and our neighbor Charlie."
Varian shook their hands in kind. "Oh, please to meet ya."
"We were wondering if you wanted to go on that tour I promised ya?" Austin asked.
"Yeah, that sounds fun. I just finished with my chores. Honey Lemon, you wanna go?"
Honey Lemon blinked in surprise. She didn't know what to say. She didn't want him hanging around the rude teens, but she knew she'd sound ridiculous if she tried to explain why. For all she knew, Varian might find their admiration of him flattering. Heck, who was she kidding? Varian definitely would consider all the attention a compliment. He was such a ham sometimes.
Austin hooked her arm around Varian's and batted her eyes. "We could play horseshoes first, but with an uneven number of people someone would have to sit out."
Honey Lemon caught the girl's meaning. She wasn't welcomed. All because they thought she liked Varian the same as they did. Which was silly... wasn't it? Honey Lemon suddenly felt the butterflies in her stomach again.
"That's okay, we can play a few rounds and take turns," Varian suggested in his ever-practical manner.
"I th-think you can count me out." Honey Lemon said as she backed away. "I'm going to go lie down for a while."
Varian frowned. "Are you okay?"
He hurried after her and grabbed her hand. A jolt of nervous energy went through her at the touch as she stopped on the stairs.
"N-no. It's okay. I'm fine. I just have a bit of a headache, that's all. I just need some rest."
"You're sure? Do you need anything?"
"Yeah, I'm good." She lied. "I'm sure I'll feel better once I've rested my eyes a bit."
Varian was going to protest further but Austin tugged on his arm.
"Come on." She urged. "We'll want to get a few games in before Zeb has to take Charlie home."
And with that she started to drag him away, while Honey Lemon went inside.
                                                   ------------------
Honey Lemon was shaking by the time she made it back to her room. She took deep steading breaths as she tried to clam herself.
"It's okay. It's okay... Everything is fine." She sighed. "So what if someone finds Varian attractive? I mean, he is cute... I guess. It's only natural that there'd be other people who think he's 'hot'."
She began to pace back and forth as she ranted.
"And so what if I happen to not like those other people and think they're rude, and smug, and spoiled, and so very, very annoying. It's none of my business. Varian's a free person. He's allowed to date whoever he wishes. And he's not even dating any of them anyways, so what does it matter?"
She let out another long sigh and sat down on the edge of her bed.
"What does matter? I wasn't upset when he dated Karmi or said that he liked that Cassie person. Why would I be? We're not together, and Gogo is wrong. He doesn't like me in that way... and I don't like him that way... a-and we're just friends."
She took another breath.
"We're just friends." She repeated, less convincingly. "Best friends.... and nothing more... and th-that's for the best. B-because friends don't hurt one another... or leave... or break your heart cause they decided to date someone else."
She pouted as remembered her last conversation if Andre. "No, I'm fine with just being friends, and I'm going to be the supportive friend that welcomes whomever he chooses to go out with."
Suddenly she heard a familiar hearty laugh from below. She turned to look out of her window to see Varian and the other three teens playing horseshoes. They all looked like they were having a good time. Austin made a winning throw and jumped for joy.
She couldn't make out what they were saying, but Honey Lemon could hear the applause and indistinct cheers anyways. Then Austin ran towards Varian, laughing, and scooped him up in a hug. Varian returned it and gave her a little twirl, lifting her off the ground.
They must have been on the same team, Honey Lemon reasoned to herself, but it did nothing to stop the overwhelming since of loss as she watched them embrace. She flung herself onto her pillow and began to cry.
                                                  ------------------
"Hey Boss!"
Mr. Allen turned around to see the manager of his ranch flagging him down.
Kim was a tall bulky woman in her late forties. She had worked for Allen for years and knew the Lone Star inside and out.
Tagging along beside her was Johnny. He was a greenhorn, come in fresh from town looking for part time work. Allen had hired him and so far the boy did good a job... when could be found that is. Johnny had a habit of wandering off at convenient and inconvenient times. Allen suspected he had a sweetheart in town. Youngsters tended to do things like that; sneaking off to make-out or whatever.
Kim must be here to report the lad for running off again.
"Alright Alistair, you can take a break."
Allen dismissed his nephew and the other billionaire slumped under a nearby tree to catch his breath. A few of the teens he had brought with him gathered around to gently heckle him, not missing the chance to tease the pompous man.
Allen chuckled under his breath. Alistair was a good man deep down, but he needed to learn a lesson in humility. Allen was determined to teach it to him.
"Well Kim, what appears to be the problem." Allen asked, still smiling to himself. However, it would seem his manager had far graver news than just to reprimand a slacker ranch hand.
"Johnny's just came back from town, he says that the Jolton Brothers just escaped prison a few days ago." Kim warned in a low voice.
Allen sighed.
"Well... I'm sure the rangers are on their trail." he calmly reasoned.
"Who's the Jolton Brothers?"
Allen started to find the youngest of the visiting teens standing behind him.
'Bandits." Kim warned.
"Yeah, deadly outlaws." Johnny sneered, as if he hoped to frighten the much younger boy.
"Hush Johnny. " Allen ordered, then he turned and patted the boy on his head. "Now don't you worry your head over it, son. I'm sure they're well on their way to the border by this time."
Kim shook her head. "Not likely. Mason said they were spotted just out of town about twenty miles from us yesterday. I think it'd be best if we bumped up security."
"I could take first watch if you want me to." Johnny volunteered.
"Well if it's extra security you're needing," The smaller boy said. "Baymax has built in bio-scanners."
"Baymax?" Kim asked.
"That's our robot. My brother programed him to be a nurse, but he can also keep look out."
"I don't need help from some walking tin can." Johnny complained.
Allen motioned for Johnny to quiet down. "I think ya both for volunteering, but I'm going to leave this to Kim. That is ifin' you don't mind working overtime tonight?"
"Not all." She replied. "I won't sleep easy knowing the Jolton gang are around anyways."
With that Kim and Johnny left to tend to other chores, though as he left the younger of the two shot a nasty look at Hiro.
"What's his problem?"
Allen rolled his eyes. "Seems he didn't like you showing him up in front of his boss."
"Oh… sorry, I was just trying to help."
"Nonsense, my boy, you did nothing wrong. If Johnny wants to impress me then he needs to just do the job he's been assigned instead of running off. Now, let's go check back in with Alistair. He ain't even halfway done, and it's pert-near noon!"
                                                  ------------------
Hours passed, and the game had long since ended, but Honey Lemon still laid there on her bed staring blankly at the opposite wall.
Finally a knock came at her door.
"Come in." She sighed.
Wasabi poked his head out from around the door.
"Are you feeling okay? We haven't since you since lunch?"
"I'm fine." Honey Lemon compulsively lied. She didn't even bother to look up at her friend.
"Uh... huh.... Well how's your headache? Varian said-"
"Varian said what?" She quickly sat up upon hearing his name.
"Ummmm... he said you were going to lay down for a while...?" Wasabi raised an eyebrow.
"Oh... yeah..." She sighed and laid back down; this time choosing to stare at the ceiling instead.
Wasabi rolled his eyes. "Well I just came up to check on you and to let you know that dinner is almost ready, if you want any."
"That's nice." she absently replied as she continued to stare at the ceiling.
Wasabi stood there a few moments unsure of what to do.
"Soooo.... are you coming down?"
"Do you think Varian likes me?" Honey Lemon suddenly asked, still chosing not look at him.
"Ummm..."
"Gogo says that he likes me, as in 'likes me' likes me, but I think she's wrong. I mean we're just friends, best friends, but still just friends, and it's probably for the best that we just remain that way, right? I mean there's no point in complicating things and potentially ruining what we have. Am I right?"
She finally sat up to look at him, and Wasabi froze as if he was a deer standing in the way of oncoming headlights.
Honey Lemon took his silence as permission to continue as she stood up and began to pace around the room once more. "I mean, it might be nice dating your best friend because you already know that you'll get along, but what if you suddenly stop getting along? What if you start fighting all the time and wind up hating each other... and then what if we stopped dating, and then we'd no longer be together or even friends anymore! Who'd want that? It's not worth it. Am I right?"
Wasabi still didn't answer as he awkwardly side-eyed his exit. He looked like a man who was cornered as his friend continued to rant.
"And besides, he doesn't like me that way anyways. Right? I mean, so what if he's super sweet, and protective, and is constantly doing things to cheer me up. Th-that just what friends do, right? And yeah, we're constantly going out together, b-but as friends, because we enjoy a lot of the same things, like wrestling, and dancing, and having dinner together, and... ah.... Paris.... th-that's normal right? It's normal to take your friends on a romantic getaway to Paris, right?"
She nervously twirled her hair as it just dawned on her how their trip a few months ago might look like to someone else.
"Nothing happened in Paris. I swear it." She suddenly snapped, as if afraid of what her friend might think of her.
Wasabi however couldn't care less what happened in Paris as he started to slowly back away. "Listen... It looks like you're going through some stuff right now, so why don't I leave you to it and get out of here-woah!"
Honey Lemon grabbed him by the shirt collar and dragged him back inside. "No, you have to help me."
"But I'm not good with this kind of stuff!" Wasabi protested as he tried to pull away. "Why don't we get Baymax in here and you can talk to him?"
"Baymax's a robot! He doesn't know anything about relationships."
"And you think I do!?"
"Well, you are in a relationship!"
"Yeah, and I've no idea how I got there! I just lucked into it! Sam's the one who understands relationship stuff, not me."
Honey Lemon gave another tug on Wasabi's sweater, as he continued to pull away. They were locked in a mini tug-a-war as they argued.
"But you're Varian's best friend. Surely he'd have told you something."
"Nuh-nuh... No way! I'm not getting caught in the middle of this!"
"But... if you could just talk to-"
"Talk to him yourself! You see him just as much as I do."
"B-but- woah!" Honey Lemon finally lost her grip and they both fell to the floor with an 'ooof.'
Wasabi rubbed his sore backside as he stood up. "Look, I know it's uncomfortable to confront your crush-"
"I don't have a crush." She pouted, as she hugged her knees.
"Suuuree you don't." Wasabi mocked. "Either way, you can't just keep putting it off in the hopes that it'll go away. You need to talk to Varian."
Honey Lemon's bottom lip trembled as looked up at Wasabi with pleading eyes. Then she gave a sob, lowered her head, and squeezed her knees tighter.
Wasabi frowned and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Aw, Honey... What are you afraid of? It's just Varian."
"I know." She whined.
"Then what do you think will happen? That he'll not like you back and just stop being your friend?"
"No..." She sniffled. "I don't know."
"You know how silly that sounds right?" He gently admonished.
"You're right... but I'm th-that's not what really I'm worried about."
Wasabi titled his head.
Honey Lemon opened her mouth to explain, only Varian to appear in the doorway.
"Hey, dinner's ready-... What's wrong?"
He knelt down to Honey Lemon's level and placed his hand over her forehead. "Are you still feeling bad?"
Honey Lemon bit her bottom lip and silently nodded, not trusting herself to speak.
"Awe, I'm sorry Honey, but don't worry I got the perfect thing to cheer you up."
He took her hands and helped her off the floor before leading her out of the room.
"Some good food is exactly what the doctor ordered. Austin and I made super spicy vegetarian chili. She says the heat should help with your headache."
Honey Lemon gave him a pained smile. "How... nice."
Varian didn't catch the hesitancy in her voice. "Yeah, I thought it was a great idea... and it tastes good too, if I do say so myself." He winked at her before dragging her down the stairs.
Honey Lemon turned to give Wasabi one last pleading gaze. All he could do was helplessly shrug as Varian excitedly pulled her into the dinning hall.
                                                  ------------------
Dinner turned out to be pretty tasty, just as Varian had bragged. Honey Lemon though had little appetite for it as she picked around the edges of her plate. She only listened with half an ear as the rest of her friends debated who had the worst chores to do today.
"I almost got run over by a stampede!" Fred exaggerated. "Fortunately my quick thinking and lighting reflexes allowed me to escape."
"You mean you fell off the fence into the pasture and Tadashi had to drag you back out." Gogo replied, deflating her friend's ego.
"That's still better than what I had to do." Wasabi complained. "I had to clean the stables... so much dirt... so much dirt everywhere."
"Well, if you think that's bad," Hiro offered. "Today I had to milk a cow." He shuddered. "I'll never drink a milkshake again."
Austin snorted with laughter at their complaints. "Looks like your greenhorn friends can't keep up with country life." She nudged Varian with a wink.
No one noticed Honey Lemon shooting a nasty look at the other girl, while Varian joined in with her laughter. "Yeah, maybe they're just a bunch of ninnies."
"Once again, what's a 'ninny'?" Hiro asked.
This elected only more laughter from the two teens.
"Well while y'all figure it out, I'm going back for seconds. Anybody want any?" Austin said as she stood up.
"Yeah, I'll take more." Tadashi said as he handed her his plate.
She took it and went into the kitchen. As she walked away Baymax offered up his help by providing the definition to 'ninny.'
"A 'ninny' is an old fashioned insult meaning a foolish or weeeeaakk peerrrs-"
"Baymax?" Hiro asked with concern as the robot slumped forward lifeless. "B-Baymax!?"
Then the lights went out.
"What's happening?" Wasabi nervously asked.
He got his answer when the front door was kicked in and three men stormed inside brandishing guns. Bandanas and lowered cowboy hats hid their faces.
"Alright! Nobody move, this is a hold up!" The leader yelled. To prove his seriousness he shot the gun in the air. Its bright red laser briefly lit up the darkened room in a flash of brilliance and several of the teens screamed as plaster fell from the ceiling and onto the table.
"Grab the girl." He ordered, and before Honey Lemon knew what was happening two strong hands gripped both of her arms and pulled her from her seat.
"Hey! You can't do that!" Fred yelled. He was the closest to her and the first to jump to her defence. He was rewarded for his trouble by a punch to the face that sent him flying back head over heels.
"Freddie!"
Wasabi rushed to his aid, while everyone else braced themselves for a fight.
Hiro pulled out his phone to call for his suit, but nothing happened. He looked down to see his phone was dead.
The taller man started to drag Honey Lemon away and Tadashi had to hold Varian back from attacking the bandits in a fit of rage.
Only for one of the outlaws to stop when he spotted Gogo.
"Hey, Boss! There's two girls here!" He called out bewildered.
"Oh for Pete's sake!" The leader rolled his eyes. "Just grab both of them then!"
The man grabbed Gogo by the wrist to pull her along, but only received a kick in the shins for his trouble. She then stomped on his foot and flipped the guy onto the table in a judo throw.
Her victory was short lived however, when the leader wrapped one large beefy arm around her shoulders and placed the gun next to her head.
"Anybody else wanna get cute!" He bellowed.
No one answered, but all glared at him with fury as he started to back away. The five of them were almost out the door, when the leader paused to gloat.
"If you want your girls back Allen. You'll deposit a million dollars, in cash, at the foot of Weeping Hill by sunset, or otherwise these two will be returned to you in body-bags. Got It!"
Allen sputtered with anger. "Why, you low down, slimy, son of a-"
"Now wait a minute." Krei interrupted. "There's no need for this. If it's money that you want, I'll write you a check now, if you'll release both girls. I'll give you a million for each. That's double what you were asking for."
Without waiting for an answer Krei pulled out a checkbook and pen from his shirt pocket. The bandits looked momentarily confused by the offer.
"Now, who should I make this out to-ooff" He was interrupted by a laser gun being pressed up against his nose.
"Are you crazy?" the third bandit hissed.
"You think us stupid or something?" The leader added. "We try to cash that check and the feds would be all over us. It's cash or nothin'. Come on boys. Grab Mr. Moneybags while you're at it. The payment is now five million Allen!"
The third gang member hooked his arm around Krei's and led the billionaire outside at gunpoint.
That's when Varian finally broke away from Tadashi's grasp. He lunged at the bandit still holding on to Honey Lemon, only for Tadashi to tackle him to the ground before he could get close to them.
"Keep your head down!" He ordered, as the leading outlaw shot a volley of laser blasts into the dinning hall. Everyone ducked for cover.
Using that as a distraction the bandits ran outside to where a fourth outlaw had a getaway jeep already cranked and waiting.
Seeing that the gunshots had stopped, Varian, Tadashi, and Hiro raced to the front door. They got there just in time to see Krei, Gogo, and Honey Lemon being shoved into the jeep while the three outlaws saddled some strange hoverbikes crafted to look like cattle.
The leader fired another warning shot at them as they sped away. They ducked again and the blast glanced off the door frame instead. When they looked up from their hiding place again, the outlaws were long gone with both Krei and the girls.
                                                  ------------------
Varian stood in the middle of the dinning hall as everyone else rushed about scrambling to find a solution.
"The land line phone isn't working either." Wasabi called out from the sitting room.
"Are you alright darling?" Allen said as he helped his shivering daughter to a chair.
"Yes, pa." Austin replied as she took a seat and hugged her knees.
He patted her head tenderly. "Thank the stars you were in the kitchen, or those fiends may have taken you too."
Hiro came down the stairs, carrying his helmet. "The bad guys must have used an EMP to cause the blackout. All our equipment is dead."
'And it looks like Baymax is going to be out of commission for awhile." Tadashi sighed as he finished looking the robot companion over.
"So what do we do now?" Fred sniffed as he held a cloth over his bleeding nose. "We can't just stay here and do nothing."
"Someone's going to have to go get the police." Hiro replied. "Cause I don't think there's anything we can do at the moment."
Varian listened to their conversation numbly. He didn't like all this talk about 'not being able to do anything', he didn't like trusting the lives of their friends to someone else, and he certainly didn't like standing around feeling useless. Yet, Hiro's words made sense. They were lacking their usual resources in addition to operating in unfamiliar territory, for now the bandits had the advantage. They had the weapons, the leverage, and knowledge of the surrounding terrain that they simply didn't.
However matters only went from bad to worse when Kim and Zeb came running up to the front door. Kim had a black eye and looked like she'd been roughed up in a fight.
"It was Johnny. He ambushed me in the security room and turned off the alarms. Zeb only just now found me locked in the closet."
"That traitor!" Allen yelled indignantly.
"That's not all he's done." Zeb added. "The fuel lines have been cut on all the cars, even the tractor."
"So we can't chase after them." Tadashi softly finished, stating the obvious.
"So we're just stranded here?" Wasabi moaned.
"Nonsense." Allen stated, "We still got the horses. Zeb, Austin, you two come with me. We're riding into town to get the sheriff."
"Then what do we do?" Fred asked.
"Y'all are going to stay here where it's safe." Allen ordered. "Kim look after them, and see what evidence you can save on the security cameras."
"I'll try... but I think he may have wiped the tapes." Kim sighed.
"I could try doing a system restore." Hiro suggested.
"And I can look at the vehicles." Tadashi shrugged. "There maybe not be anything I can do, but it's better than sitting around doing nothing'."
"I'll come with you." Fred offered. "I can look for more gas while you work on them."
"I'll stay here with the phones and Baymax, in case they come back on." Wasabi said.
"Alright, we'll see you in a few hours. We should be back with the sheriff by sun up." Allen agreed.
"Hours?" Varian whispered as Allen, Zeb, and Austin prepared to leave.
They didn't have 'hours'! The outlaws had hovercrafts and a truck. Every moment wasted was a moment they got further and further away with their friends! The farther away they got, the harder it would be to find them again, and the bandits had given them an ultimatum of only two days!
Without another word Varian turned on his heel and ran up stairs to his room. He dumped the contents of suitcase into his bed, and started frantically looking for anything that would help.
He didn't bother with the portal magnets. They would have been deactivated same as all the other electronics in the house. Instead he grabbed the swiss army knife that he had gotten for the trip, a bottle of rubbing alcohol from the bathroom, and the piece of amber that he always had nearby. He tucked this last 'weapon' into the cusp of his boot, while he pocketed the other objects.
He then ran to Honey Lemon's room and pulled out her chimpurse from under the bed. It of course was dead the same as everyone else's weapons, but there was one single chimball already made up hanging on the strap. He had no idea what it would do, but he grabbed it anyway and stuffed it into his single front shirt pocket.
Fearing that time was running out, he decided that he was armed enough and raced back down stairs.
He ignored everyone's confused looks as he flung open the front door and ran outside. Night had already fallen, and with the all electric lamp lights blown out it was hard to pierce the darkness. He had to stop and let his eyesight adjust. He saw Austin and Zeb already mounted upon their horses by the stable. He was sure Allen was there too, getting ready to head to town.
He didn't want them stopping him, so he avoided the stables and ran to the fenced-in enclosure that housed Widowmaker instead.
The wild horse was already agitated by the noise of the gunshots and all the running about everyone was doing, but he became even more distressed when he saw Varian grab the lasso, hanging on the fence post and jump over the gate.
"Woah! Woah!" Varian yelled as the stallion began to stomp and kick. "I'm not going to use this on you. I promise."
He shouldered the rope to demonstrate that he wasn't going to throw it, and then began to talk to the horse more calmly.
"Listen, I know you're scared, and that you miss your family. B-but I'm frightened too. Some bad people have taken away my friends, my family, and I have to get them back. Please, will you help me?"
Widowmaker stopped bucking and snorted in confusion. This human wasn't like the others. He didn't chase him around, or hoot and holler with mocking laughter. He didn't try to mount him, or tie him up. All he did was continued to talk, though of course the wild animal couldn't understand what he was saying. But the human was clearly distressed and on the verge of tears.
"Please..." Varian whispered, time even more gently. He held up one hand." Please,.. I can't lose anyone else.``
He turned his head away and looked at his toes instead, still keeping his hand held up, palm facing out. It was a trick his father had taught him; a way to gain a horse's trust and show him that you weren't a threat, by breaking eye contact.
Widowmaker pawed the ground curiously. This human was indeed strange, but he seemed friendly. He walked up to the man and gently nuzzled his open palm.
Varian sighed with relief and petted the horse's nose.
"Thank you." He breathed as he moved to hug the creature, and nuzzled his own face against the horse's head.
"Come on,. Let's get out of here."
He opened the gate, hopped onto the horses back, and with a click of his heels they were off at full gallop before anyone could stop them.

Family:
Hiro Hamada (Father)
Karmi Hamada (Mother)
Tadashi Hamada (Deceased Uncle)
Baymax (‘Uncle’)
Bayneko (Companion)
Cass Hamada (Nana/Great Aunt)
Alister Krei (Grandpapa/Great Uncle-In-Law)
Megan, Trina, Gogo and Honey Lemon (‘Aunts’)
Wasabi, Chris, Globby, Felony Carl and Fred (‘Uncles’)
Grace Granville (Godmother)
Weakness/Flaws/Fears: Claustrophobia (Fear of tight spaces). Atelophobia (Fear of not being good enough). Autophobia (Fear of being alone, rejected or isolated). Necrophobia (Fear of death). Has a hard time saying no in most situations, especially towards friends and family. If she starts overthinking, she can go into a kind of panicked state. Doesn’t speak about how she truly feels half the time, thinking her opinions and emotions don’t matter over others. Often over pushes herself, sometimes causing exhaustion and unwanted stress. Hate’s it whenever she seems like the bad guy, even if it was necessary. Often needs things to be perfect, especially her creations. Puts others first before herself. Despite how calm and quiet she can seem, she often needs a distraction, something to be doing or she can get stressed and jittery. Allergic to peanuts.
Extra:
Naming In Honor - Tamashii’s name is both in honour of Granville and Tadashi. Her middle name, being Grace, is Granville’s first name, along with Granville being her godmother. Hiro and Karmi thought it was fitting, given their mentor was the one who introduced them to each other. And her first name, Tamashii, sounds a lot like Tadashi, though because she was female, they gave her a slightly different name. It became quite fitting, given how much Tamashii hauntingly acts like Tadashi, to the point where Hiro gave her his brother’s cap, which she treasures and almost always wears.
The Baymaxs - Growing up, Tamashii was learning how to speak both English and Japanese. However, sometimes she didn’t know certain words in either langue, tending to substitute. With each of the baymaxs, she would call them something else. For Baymax, she’d often call him Bay-Kun, but with her baby voice at the time, sounded like bacon. Mini-Max was called Mausu-Max, which means Mouse-Max. She didn’t know the word for tiny properly but knew he was small, like a mouse. Sky-Max was called Kūki-Max, meaning Air-Max, since the bot always fly. As for her personal companion, Hiro had just called her Bay-Cat, but Tamashii didn’t know the English word for cat, so ended up calling her Bay-Neko, a nickname which stayed and became her new name.
Representing Song: Human - Christina Perri
Friends:
Fritz Hak-Kun Frederickson (Friend/Teammate)

Enemies:

Skills: Martial Arts/Close-Combat. Device Usage - Robotic Wiring, Scanner, Comms. Basic Gymnastics. Technion, robotics, biotech, hacking, medical care are some of the many science side of things she understands, given her high intelligence and parents. Her small and flexible body can come in handy. Child Prodigy. Enhanced Inventing and Armour. Multilingualism (English, Japanese, American Sign Language and some Spanish). Sharp eye on most details people would never spot. Unlike her parents, Tamashii can actually act and lie pretty skillfully, though she’s mostly honest, only lying if needed. Leadership.

Transformers
????? (Let me know which character you want, and I'll either know them, or have to look them up. I'm familiar with most Transformers characters though.)
Rules and Guidelines:
I will not, absolutely will not, write about rape (Non-con), pedophilia, underage characters, beastality (with animals, such as dogs, cats, etc.).
18+ ONLY. You have to have your age on your blog or profile, otherwise I will not accept your commission.
If you want me to write about your character, please send me a description of them and a brief summary of their personality and their connection with the canon character.
Please take this as a reminder that I am a human being, and I will need time to write out the commissions.
I will be taking payment first, and then I will write out the commission. For longer commissions, I will write out an outline and make sure that is what you want.
