Hello Darling! How is my favourite bunny lover doing? How are you feeling? Since I know how depression works, I am really worried about you! You know, if you ever feel the need to talk about whatever you want, please let me know. If this would be something that could possibly help you somehow, I am all ears!
I know it must be really hard for you right now. I don’t know the details, but let me share my thoughts with you. I grew up seeing many things and my experiences with people are really twisted. Some of those things were/still are so pure, so beautiful and so magical that I wish everyone could experience it, even for once. Some of those were/still are something I wish never happened, because no one deserves to experience them. Even the most evil person. But you know, I think that every person that has been in our life is important. It doesn’t matter if that person was there for a short period or not. They’ve brought something in our life. They’ve teached us some lessons, more or less important, but still. It depends on you what you will learn from them.
Since you still care for those who disappointed you means that you are really goodhearted. Kind people tend to perceive others by their own behaviour. If you are sincere and caring towards others you would never think that they could be manipulative and malicious. But if you are unfair and lying you would never think that someone would have selfless intentions, right? But you must remember that your well being is a priority and that you deserve respect. It’s your life. You are living for yourself, not for others. You can’t be anyone’s puppet. Don’t waste your time on people who can’t treat you like they should. And I know it’s easy to say such things as a completely neutral person and it’s much more difficult to actually believe in self-worth and cut off toxic people. And I am proud of you that you actually are aware of such people around and want to kick them out of your life. It's a huge milestone to success! You really deserve what’s best in life! Remember this! Don’t settle for less!
And you know what? You deserve all those men that Ubisoft gave us. I hope they made you hot! CODE PURPLE, READY, STEADY, GO! But please, I am not mentally prepared to be an auntie.
The weather is really bad and I already miss summer. Do you know the meme “it’s not that cold, stop being dramatic”? Because it’s me in a nutshell. I am always cold. When we were in Italy I was literally freezing to death when my friends wore only Tshirts and nothing more (besides pants,ofc.). And one of them, a gentleman like he always is, was taking his hoodie with him every time, knowing that I will surely need it after the sun goes down. So since the temperature outside is too low for me, I already sleep under a quilt and blanket and with two heating pads. Yes, yes. I need more warmth in my life.
Luna.. well. Please keep your fingers crossed for her.
Does my message make any sense? Because I can’t concentrate on anything today.
Sending loads of hugs, Babe!
🔪
HELLO KNIFEY MY AMAZING FRIEND
So I'm still in this state when I feel good/content with stuff. And I got a new succulent so honestly? Right now I'm pretty happy! I hope it will continue.
Thank you for your words. I try to accept the fact that every person you meet is important because it's always a lesson. Sometimes it's a lesson not to trust but sometimes it's a lesson about a little thing that makes you happy. But honestly I'm very unlucky when it comes to meeting people. 2 days ago a 'friend' backstabbed me. And you know what? FUCK HER. I don't care. I had the feeling she is fake but now I have a proof and I don't give a single damn. She can perish. She's out of my life. And you know what? I won't let people like that destroy my good mood. Because I feel fine. I have fun playing the game, I read a book, I write little things, I can talk to my friends like you! And I'm writing an amazing rp. Life is nice.
You know what is also nice? Looking at Altair in revelation kissing Maria because you can feel how much love he has in his heart. And I'm sure he would be the best man ever.
About being aunt don't worry! Tbh I'm not sure if I want to have kids. First of all I don't have anyone to make the with. But I'm not sure if I would even want. It's a big responsibility. So don't worry. You can be auntie for my bunnies.
KNIFEY I FEEL YOU. I hate cold. Luckily I'm not getting cold easily but there are day when it's just so cold. Like rn I in a sweater and my bunny socks again. But it's not that bad, tho Im already using lvl2 blanket (I have a few blankets with different level of floofines. Level 4 is for FREEZING TO DEATH COLD). Also my Loki pillow is on it's autumn/winter duty.
Please stay warm! Hug you baby doggo. Wrap in a blanket. Wear socks!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Luna. Please, keep me updated, I'm worried about her.
And don't worry! You make perfect sense!
Also check out my baby succulent.
Tumblr media
Stay safe and warm Knifey! Can't wait to talk to you again soon!
Ps. Altair with bunnies. Altair with bunnies. Altair with so many bunnies.

Kashiwa and Hishi mochi remind me of the Tanabata story
Well if you want to know why in a nutshell. But first what is the Tanabata story? In the Tanabata story, basically at first Orihime weaved and Hikoboshi does farm work or whatever he does. But then they both fell in love one day, and hanged out way too much the people's clothes got really ugly because Orihime wasn't working and the farms were unhappy because Hikoboshi was also not working.
This made Orihime's pops (he's the god of the sky) angry and sepreated the 2, only making Hikoboshi and Orihime see eachother on a specific date so his daughter can return to weaving clothes and such for the gods. And so they did, crossing the milky way to see eachother on that specific date based off a Chinese story and based off the meeting of the 2 stars Altair and Vega.
Now let's talk about Kashiwa and Hishi's backstory...
Hishi's attendant is the younger princess of the kingdom, similar to how Orihime is the daughter of the sky god
Both of their attendants were "star-crossed lovers" similar to the couple
Hishi and Kashiwa were playmates and hanged out a lot with eachother which is what happend to led the couple being sepreated
On Kashiwa's side, his attendant died and went off to get stronger to defeat fallen angels, which is vaguely similar to how Hikoboshi would work hard with the cows after they got seperated so they can reunite
On Hishi's side of the story, she is very sad over Kashiwa gone missing, and I assume she's working hard by making dolls because Unadon told her and traveling with Mastutake Dobinmushi.. Like how Orihime is weaving clothes so they can reunite
Maybe Kashiwa and Hishi will reunite like the couple.. But is this a coincidence or not? Though it is very similar to the Tanabata legend. And it'll be cool seeing 2 legends in 1 set of characters
Oh and in a lot of the art of Orihime and Hikoboshi, apperently Orihime has those 2 loops on her head like Hishi which is in her bow while Kashiwa has a tiny ponytail similar to Hikoboshi's bun.. Hmm..
..Interesting indeed... Wow I want a skin of Kashiwa and Hishi being Orihime and Hikoboshi now

Binge-Watching: Re:Creators, Episodes 20-22
In which Altair is literally All the Meta, and things hobble along to a strong conclusion.
Meta Meta Meta
There’s a particularly amusing moment in episode 20 where one of the protagonists calls out Altair for treating their battle like a big show, to which she responds, “That’s because it is a show.” In-universe, she’s talking about the stadium full of eager fans watching the fight go down. But in a meta sense, she is 100% talking about us. We in the real world are the true audience she’s performing for, the reason this story exists in the first place. Like Re:Creators is fond of saying, it’s the audience’s reaction to a piece of fiction that gives it power; all its creator can do is put it out there and hope for the best. So the reason she’s able to give our heroes such a good thrashing is the same for both in-universe justifications and out-universe writing techniques: it makes for a better story (at least in theory). Because she was born with pretty much no backstory, she’s become an endless fanon amalgamation of every direction the otaku community has taken her, bursting with every overpowered super move and game-breaking cheat imaginable. And because anime fans are nothing if not lovers of all things over-the-top, she’s able to weaponize the heroes’ own strategy against them. This “birdcage” was intended to make the audience cheer for all their favorite characters coming together to fight this foe; instead, it’s become a tool for Altair to hijack the audience’s sympathy and make them root for her. Because at the end of the day, ridiculous over-the-top bullshit spectacle is far more the lifeblood of this medium than carefully constructed metanarratives and rich character studies. It’s simultaneously a genius villain master plan and among the most hilariously accurate assessments of anime fans I’ve seen. Of course the audience would end up rooting for stupidly overpowered final boss to keep on pulling cool shit out of her ass.
Unfortunately, this is also where Re:Creators shoots itself in the foot once again: it’s just really fucking bad at living up to its own hype. You all know how much I love ridiculous over-the-top anime bullshit; the mere fact that I have Symphogear in my All-Time Top 10 is proof enough of that. I live for the kind of shit that Altair represents. And yet, as conceptually cool as her story-breaking powers are, this final battle, and this show as a whole, just doesn’t go far enough with that concept for me. It’s one thing to call attention to the fact that the villain’s powers are to literally break the story’s rules so she can endlessly “This isn’t even my final form!” her way to victory, but it always seems to go for the lamest possible version of that execution. So much of this final battle is just padding time with strategies that go nowhere, and every time you think it might be progressing to a new stage, everything goes to shit, someone dies, and we’re right back to square one with nothing changed but the body count. We get this whole trump card strategy about them developing an Anti-Altair out of Shimazaki’s final designs, but after a good ten minutes of them doing battle, she destroys it without taking any significant damage, and nothing’s changed since we started unless you count a few extra swords in Yuya’s gut. Also, Hiyaku has no reason to exist. She doesn’t play any significant role, and she’s not given nearly enough character definition to be anything more than an unnecessary dead weight taking up precious time that might be better spent elsewhere. Altair even calls her nothing but an innocent bystander when she de-powers her, but calling out how useless a character she is without doing anything to fix that problem only makes me further aware of how utterly pointless her presence is.
That’s this show’s biggest problem in a nutshell. It’s got all this smart commentary on the nature of storytelling and how audiences interact with it, but the story itself doesn’t take any of its own damn advice. This final battle could have easily cut two full episodes without losing much, and we’d be spared these repetitive narrative cul-de-sacs that just exist to drag out the plot without putting the characters or the world through interesting changes. We didn’t need to spend four whole episodes repeating the same loop of “Okay, this is definitely gonna work oh whoops I guess it didn’t welp back to the drawing board” before getting to the moment that actually matters.
That Good Juice(Tm)
That being said, once we finally reach episode 21 and Sota pulls out his hail-mary pass of writing Shimazaki herself into the battle... yeah, this is exactly the ending Re:Creators deserved. The only way Altair was gonna be stopped was with a good old Power of Friendship talk from the creator she thought she was fighting for. And while it’s a little off how quickly she pivots from sneering murder machine to quivering lump of Feels(tm), everything about their conversation and its resolution is pretty much perfect. Altair was created with all Shimazaki’s wishes and curses alike, all the bad feelings she suffered in her final days. And she’s honored that legacy by being an avenging angel seeking to tear down the world that hurt her creator. But through the very process by which she hijacked the show’s meta- appealing to the audience’s sympathy- their perception of her evolved her into someone with the potential to be more than destruction. After all, if there’s one thing audiences love more than a sympathetic villain, it’s a sympathetic villain who redeems herself and stands up for what’s right. And with all the world-shattering powers her audience has granted her, Altair isn’t just a creation any more: she’s a creator herself. Someone with the power to rewrite her reality and forge her own story when the one she’s living through just isn’t doing enough. Which means that just as Shimazaki created the story of Altair, now Altair can take this fictional Shimazaki and, dare I say, re-create her. And they can just keep creating each other, both each other’s creator and creation, writing their own story in a world that can give them all the happiness the real world fell short of.
This is the culmination of all this show’s topsy-turvy, recursively meta basket-weaving, and it’s pretty damn awesome to watch unfold. I may be a grumpy old curmudgeon, but even I can’t help but appreciate the beauty of a creation turning around and re-creating her creator in a recursive loop so they can be eternal story girlfriends together. And not to mention this is all brought about by Sota literally returning his friend to life by writing her into this story, using fiction to process his grief by giving Shimazaki a second life in the hearts and minds of the general public and capturing her character to the best of his ability. Once, creating was the source of the anger that drove him and Shimazaki apart; now, it’s the way he can honor her legacy and ensure her memory will live on long past her final goodbye. That’s not just a good ending, that’s the right ending. That’s the perfect logical endpoint for all this show’s commentary on the nature of storytelling, and it brings Re:Creators’ most central emotional hook to a very satisfying finish. If nothing else, I can be happy it achieved that.
Re:Created
And with the battle won, there’s nothing left for episode 22 but saying goodbye. The creators re-commit to doing right by their characters, giving Selesia, Alice, and all the rest stories they can be proud of. Most of the characters return to their original word with one last farewell to their creator, but Meteora stays behind to live in this one (and also possible Magane, because we never saw her go through the portal... hoo boy). Yes, she’ll end up just a normal human once the world’s physics sort themselves back into shape, but that’s alright. After all, you don’t need magic to create. All you need is passion, patience, practice, and a little bit of luck. And with Sota returning to his old DeviantArt account and starting to draw once more, there’s no telling where their next creations will take them. I just hope that Meteora’s version of Re:Creators leaves out Hiyaku’s gross author, because literally fuck whoever decided he deserved to have her kiss him on the cheek when saying goodbye. Maybe take your own advice once in a while, show. These characters deserve better than your lip service to respect.
Odds and Ends
-Yeah, turns out, making a character just to fulfill a plot device doesn’t make for a very lasting impression. Doi.
-”A lie about a lie turns in on itself.” One last gift from a madwoman. Magane, you’re a peach.
-”Yep, it’s a dirty trick. But it’s allowed inside stories.” Lol.
-”Supporting roles are an important part of every story too.” You said it.
-See, Meteora, this is why you don’t try to have important conversations over okonomiyaki.
-”Life without this guy would be too boring.” Oh just kiss already.
-OKAY BUT THEY ACTUALLY DID A MAMIKA/ALICE CROSSOVER ROMANCE EVENT HOLY SHIT
Another show down! Expect my series reflection in a bit, as well as what show will take its place!

“There is a certain beauty in chaos, magnificence in the uncontrollable.”
(me @ my mess of a life )
WRITING & SETTING
Hafsah Faizal’s writing style is absolutely beautiful. Her prose is perfection. There are so many gorgeous lines in this book. But at the same time, there’s also plenty of humor and wit. Seriously, the banter between characters in this book is fantastic. But the writing isn’t the only unique and beautiful aspect of this book– there’s also the world. There are a lot of Arabian influences in Arawiya that I absolutely loved, plus some unique aspects that stand out. However, it does take some time to get used to the world and understand the politics, history, and magic, but with the help of the map, the online glossary, and some nice exposition, it eventually falls into place.
“A monster will always be enslaved to a master.”
PLOT
Because there is a bit of an adjustment period to learn the world of this book, the beginning can feel slow. I would say it took me around 170 pages to really get immersed in this world and start flying through. That said, once it picks up, this book is perfect. There’s plenty of action, great character moments, and oh my god are there some twists!! I really did not see a lot of it coming, which doesn’t happen to me often.
“Together we will raise dunes from the earth and rain death from the sky. Together, we are capable of anything”
(yay power of friendship?)
CHARACTERS
I would die for the zumra. The main group of characters are all very well developed, each with their own unique personalities and backstories. It’s rare that a book can get me to cry over a character who wasn’t my absolute favorite (not that this character wasn’t amazing, they just weren’t my number 1 fave), but this book did. That just goes to show how good every single character in this book is. Nasir and Zafira are our two main protagonists, and I love them both so much. They each have great motivations and character development, and I can’t wait to see where they go in the sequel. I also wanted to mention Altair, because I love him so much. His interactions with Nasir made me laugh so many times in this book. Nasir really is the quiet emo guy, while Altair is sunlight in human form, so you can imagine what that dynamic is like. It’s perfection.
“Darkness is my destiny.”
(Nasir is 13 year old me after discover MCR. I love him)

CONCLUSION
Pros- Amazing characters, beautiful writing, unique world Cons- The beginning is slow Overall- 5/5 stars. We Hunt the Flame is astounding. This book is captivating, enthralling, and any other positive adjective you can think of. This book blew me away, and I can’t wait for the sequel to kill me (because based on this one’s ending, I know it will).

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BONUS! MORE QUOTES I LOVE:
“There was nothing more respectable and dangerous than a woman of confidence.”
“Zafira bit back a snarl. They were both insufferable children. With death counts.”
“‘You know nothing of love or loss,’ the Huntress hissed, and Nasir flinched from her gaze, so cold it burned. ‘You’re likely among the privileged who tumble a different woman every night, only to kill her by sunrise.’ Nasir donned a wolfish smile. ‘Fancy yourself a Shahrazad, then?’”
“The darkness was always happy to see her.”
“He would not fear the darkness. He was the darkness.”
“A thousand leagues and a thousand sands. For you, a thousand times I would defy the sun.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you read We Hunt The Flame?? Did the ending destroy you like it destroyed me, because oh my god I’m dead

It was, however, inspired by one dumb joke on Altair’s end.

Vio’s coat on Altair’s Zin blog!
Yeah so the story in a nutshell is that Vio’s coat reminded Altair of space pirates and so he threw the “Bitchcakes Space Pirate AU” at me and at first it was just the main trio
Then my lore filled ass was very inspired and contributed to it, creating the Ice Angel Gheeb and Half Elf Zin to go along and we got so invested in this, Altair suggested we open a blog and here we are now.

I saw you write something about "jim" and tag it as jimmy neutron and now i need to know back story! sorry, im a new follower! love your art!
Hey-o!! Thank you so much for following me~! :’D I hope it’s ok with you that I’m publishing this response publicly! I figured I’d share this in case anyone else was wondering the same thing!
So, I’m assuming you were referencing this picture? :0 I have a few more pieces of art that explain fragments of what that’s all about, which I can link here if you’re interested in checking them out! [link to JN tag]
Basically, in a nutshell, my sister and I have been working on a story involving her character Altair, a martian-turned-human, who becomes best friends with Jimmy ;u; The actual story is very lighthearted with a few emotional twists thrown in, but the point is that Altair and Jim become inseparable friends and go on all sorts of adventures!
However, the feelsy drawing takes place later in the future, after something happens to Altair, and it basically becomes an AU where Jim has an EXTREME reaction to losing his best friend and goes mad trying to fix the timeline ;o; (in the real timeline, Cindy and Zenon - yes, the Zenon from the Disney Channel movie xD - are the ones who help keep Jimmy emotionally grounded so that doesn’t happen.)
There are a few more pictures of Altair and Jim’s interactions within both my blog and my sister, @sara-plutonium‘s blog as well! I’m really surprised that you were interested in knowing more! I hope that this response wasn’t too long, and if you (or anyone else, too!) is up for more conversation, feel free to drop me a line anytime~! ;w;
