Thank you for the compliment. Yes, I can teach you. Just follow a tip from Auntie here: do it because you genuinely like the aesthetic. The time you spend writing the post is sometimes the same as editing it, and in my experience, this won't necessarily translate into more likes or reblogs. So, do it because you think it's beautiful.

As comical as it sounds, I won't be using HTML in this post because using the codes could cause problems. I've seen some tutorials, but I just really learned when I searched on my own.. I also do all my editings on my notebook. So, here's everything I use:

HTML Code Editor: While you're creating your HTML, you can simultaneously see if it's working

Important:

Go use the HTML Code Editor in this part and your life will be way easier.

Some things I do right here in the tumblr editor, like putting the images and different fonts like Lucille.

All HTML code starts with < > and ends with , that is, when you start a paragraph you will write <p> and when you finish you will write </p> (HTML Code Editor ends your coding automatically)

I'm teaching all this because if you want to make gradients in your entire text and not just in the title, you'll need to know about html

To start your HTML you will need to go to the gear that appears on the right side when you are writing your post, go to the bottom until you find the Text Editor and switch to HTML.

Go to BBCode and HTML already with your HTML text and colors in hand. Write or copy your text in the box, choose the gradient type (I use middle) and select your colors (from one to three different colors)

Now copy the text in the "HTML code for this text: (To use on your website)" box and go to the Browseling, you will replace the (') to (") and the (;) for nothing

Copy and paste your new code direct in your tumblr post editor or in the HTML Code Editor. Success!!

Obligatory ShB spoiler warning.

The general status quo hasn't changed since Vivi's arrival to the First: he still doesn't feel any land under his feet, Exarch still doesn't inspire trust, although there's no reason to distrust him either. Vivi isn't in a rush to meet the Scions because usually their perspectives don't help him at all. Hence he fucks around in the Crystarium instead of doing the msq.

You can hear the sound of Exarch failing the dating sim once again.

Talking about a mystel. Bumping into a mystel. They could get run over by a stampede of cats at this point and Vivi would still think this guy's probably a hume. He genuinely has No Idea. Had he had an idea, he would be actually more tactful. Maybe.

I hope the reference to episode 11 is clear, but here's a refresher: that's what ARRRaha is mostly remembered as. For multiple reasons. Mostly for magically killing himself and giving Vivi some mild stress and an even milder blow to his ego.

Exarch's fate was to choke on his coffee there and then, he kept his composure by a miracle no less. Vivi doesn't know the meaning of what he just blurted out, he simply rolls the letters in his mouth, still struggling to remember "G'raha".

HE MANAGED! The embodiment of intelligence.

Vivi reflects on the events of previous episodes and the dangers of the fae folk, and decides to do a massive handwave at that. He's walking a fine line, but he legit doesn't care.

Exarch has a hate-hate relationship with sleep, however, when he feels like unwinding or resetting his mind, he turns to memories of moments when he felt safe enough to drift away.

He must've felt the most warm and human when the young Lyna stayed with him all the time.

I sat on this self-contained story for a year. Officially the most wholesome episode ever. There's a bit of One Piece influence, if you remember Nami's backstory. Gen-san wore a pinwheel on his cap to appear less scary to the little Nami, and cheer her up.

Someone read this as "crap glue", which brings me infinitely more joy than my original "craft glue" x'D

There's a super subtle smile. He knows. He probably sensed Lyna approaching him, but remained still to see where this goes.

Back to the present, where they refer to each other by titles.

He's g'oogling.

G'oogle results: 1 fae, 1 slacking idiot.

Exarch isn't just jealous or yearning, he's also kindaaaaa in the middle of his grand plan, yet his hero isn't keen of jumping into action? And he doesn't know how to confront him about that. Luckily, Urianger also happens to be in Il Mheg.

Vivi smacks a like on Urianger's outfit. Rated S for peak sluttiness.

Nobody talks about Feo Ul's snot bubble so I will x'D

Urianger doesn't wanna leave his comfy place for an adventure, he visually demonstrates that while telling a polite lie, trusting Vivi to interpret that as intended.

They have a special vibe of quiet, maskless understanding, even if they don't interact much. They've got nothing to butt heads over. Vivi's fond of people who don't "fit in" and go against the grain. Being smart and observant as he is, Urianger knows that Vivi's rather hopeless, and doesn't waste his energy on trying to debate, direct, or, gods forbid, fix him.

Just a closeup because he looks cute here :> To keep your expectations grounded, though: this's one of the veeeeeery few Urianger episodes. He has little overall "screentime". This comic isn't trying to be a fanservice for every character, even if I personally like them. Gotta keep things focused.

This one's kinda important: Vivi acknowledges how nice and quiet it feels (in the moment? In Il Mheg? On the First?), but the realization doesn't fully bloom in his mind yet.

"Mmyeah there are definitely better cracks to ponder out there".

Another closeup because *clutches at heart*

Two things: his own, genuine excitement to reunite with fren, followed by self-reminder that she's no fren and that he has to maintain distance (Vivi who are you trying to fool you're bad at this).

Also mirroring. He sees Alisaie's face and drops his own.

You peek inside Alisaie's brain and find a coin loudly rolling around, one side says "omg it's HIM!!!!!", the other "beat this mf up". Why? Because she can. And probably because the word of Vivi's arrival had already reached her. He spent a good week doing nothing in the Crystarium (and even Il Mheg) instead of rushing to meet her.

The new tumblr post editor (that wasn't forced on me until ~2 months ago) won't let me add anymore pics. I was thinking of making meatier but less frequent posts of this type, because they'll massively add up over time. Imagine a new reader looking at 300 episodes and 100 recaps. I'd feel overwhelmed. But I guess I'm left with no choice but to keep these recaps relatively short and frequent.

Uuuuuuuuuuh, let's talk about the elefant in the room of my brain. To begin with, i've sorta re-written Underlust as i like, so i call this version of mine "Fanatically UnderLust".

These characters are the main ones btw...

Uuh Grillby and Sans are a canon couple, just like the og UL.

Paps and Mtt are also a canon couple, but they got some drama going on bc Paps is uuh, addicted to drugs and uuh..y'know, so they're in a complicated situation. Also Paps is like a cupid and goes around the multiverse making couples, i guess... it rarely happens tho.

Mtt runs a Quiz show (hooray!) that broadcasts for the whole multiverse, a lot of other people also participate on it, the most current wuest is Paps.

Grillby had christian parents and he has this whole arc of "bro let me live my life sucking dicks", it's awesome. He's like the song Collared by Vane lily

Alphys and Undyne don't got THAT many things going kn, just.. just being happy lesbians, and that stuff of homophobia

Alphys has the main lore of F.U.L, Luster a.k.a Gaster is sort of an asshole and does a lot of s/a, and uuuh she's his main victim, this also complements mtt's lore, he's been created specifically for Luster, for... y'know, Alphys scape... god this is awful lets move on.

Undyne is also like a popstar thing, y'know verosika from helluva boss? That's her, but nicer.

All of the characters has at least an level of hypersexuality

The FUL cast needs to use masks and have all of the preventions against an contagious thingy (like that 2019 virus) when they're in contact with other universes. it'll be explained furthermore...

The dreemurrs, omg, i like them ngl, specially Toriel, she just deserves love, man.

Alright... uh.. Frisk and Rosie (btw just notice i wrote flowey instead of Rosie, i'm so sorryakbdksjakak)... i mean, they exist that's for sure, in FUL Frisk sacrifices himself to free the monsters, i mean.. Asriel isn't here to save the day... but Hopeful ("Dream Sans") saved everyone aren't they the best?

Asgore is an interesting one, he's also addicted to drugs like Paps, but i have to say, this drug monsters from FUL takes are something else, it's the cause of everything. But i'll explain it furthermore.

Also, Asgore is sort of a religious guy, yup! You read me right. The first human brought a bible with him, and oh god he believed it, i mean i can guess he already was a religious guy before the war but now he's THE religious.

^^^(Btw I'm not blaming all christians or believers of another religion, it's just a stereotypical character, i'm using bad believers as character/example not good believers)

Asgore participates from that school i mentioned in the underfell post, i don't remember the name, but yeah.

Btw Frisk, Rosie and Toriel are a happy family! Instead of Frisk wanting to leave he just stayed with Toriel, oh wait i need to let this clear they're like mother and son okay don't get things wrong hold on. Oh yeah Frisk still has no gender but... i mean he just wants to be called as he/him that's all

Frisk is slightly affected by the Lust contagious thing, that's why he has fat thighs and some large upper format.... sorry. I tried to make him have both of genders characteristics.

Alright.. uuh, y'know Underlust reinmaniged by @/zirkkun Lust Syrup? Now imagine it 10x worst. Yup, that's what this human's soul is composed of, it doesn't have a name so just call it substance.

Basically the substance multiplies itself (it's almost alive) and smelling, entering in contact or digest it could infect you and alterate you completly, and also give you human traits like 5 fingers, yup, i have this headcanon where monsters has 4 fingers and humans has 5, just a way of differentiate the both species more

And Gaster... uuuh, he fell for the human's temptations and he's like..... theirs.... pet, i guess..??? But i mean, i like to think gaster is still not innocent, being too close to the literal font of the Lust would change him to be eventually what he is now

More of the au bros playing minecraft, because my two week long minecraft obsession has kicked in. a part 2, to this post!

Every time edge logs on, papyrus inevitably challenges him to a build off. Its a very passionate affair, lots of frustrated screaming.

Both are equally skilled at building so theres never really an outright winner (much to edges annoyance)

Red keeps rage quitting cuz someone (cough stretch and mutt cough) keeps destroying his base. Oh and he also keeps dying to creepers and loosing all his stuff

he tries to steal other peoples stuff but it usually doesn’t end well

Sans keeps dunking on him, it’s Reds worst nightmare. Eventually he locks himself in the nether and starts doing his own thing there

Axe has to keep focusing on following crooks around or else he’s gonna get lost. Although he does serve as a kind of guard dog for his brother. Red learned the hard way not to try and steal from Crooks

Crooks meanwhile just builds farms, he even manages to download some mods that allow for more crops and better foods. Its very satisfying for him to just be running around with his brother throwing stacks of pumpkin soup and cake at everyone.

Mutt is goofing off with stretch constantly. Mutts a bad influence, don’t leave the two alone. The last time that happened half the server was held hostage with stacks of TNT

Black is an old man and cant figure out the controls, right now he’s punching the sky while running around.

Passion(UL paps) and Dior (UL sans) are goofing off building a cute little cottage together, Passion keeps forgetting about the creepers cuz he’s too focused on picking flowers and Dior is having a killer time dyeing his leather armour pink

Coffee (thats swapfell gold if you dont know) is sent to watch over Mutt and Stretch but he’s not really a good babysitter; he keeps having nervous breakdowns as the two torch reds base for the fiftieth time.

Wine isn’t playing, he’s too busy working or cleaning to waste his time like that. Though he does hover over Coffees shoulder a lot.

John T Earnest, born 1999, California inmate BP9253, Federal Register 85152-298, incarceration intake in November 2021 at age 22, sentenced to life

Murder, Attempted Murder, Use of Weapons, Hate Crimes

The man who opened fire on a Poway California synagogue in a deadly antisemitic attack was sentenced in San Diego federal court in December 2021 to life in prison, plus 30 years. The hearing marks the final chapter in the dual prosecution of John T. Earnest and adds to the life term that was handed down to him three months earlier in state court.

Earnest, 22, pleaded guilty in September 2021 to a 113-count federal indictment that charged him with civil rights, hate crimes and weapons charges stemming from the April 27, 2019, attack on the synagogue at Chabad of Poway and arson at the Dar-ul-Arqam mosque in Escondido California about a month earlier.

The shooting killed Lori Gilbert-Kaye, 60, and wounded the founding Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, 8-year-old Noya Dahan and her uncle Almog Peretz, 34.

Earnest was also charged with state charges of murder, attempted murder and hate crimes in San Diego Superior Court. In July 2021 he pleaded guilty to those charges in a deal with prosecutors that allowed him to avoid the death penalty and instead get a sentence of life in prison without parole.

The attacks came during a Passover service at the synagogue. Both state and federal prosecutors said Earnest, then a 19-year-old student studying to be a nurse at Cal State San Marcos who had led an unremarkable suburban life in Ranch Peñasquitos, was driven by fierce hatred of Jewish people.

Shortly before the attack, Earnest had posted an screed online full of racist and antisemitic statements that declared the “European race” must be protected. He praised the March 2019 mass shootings at New Zealand mosques, attacks that left 51 people dead, and referenced the accused gunman in an October 2018 attack at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, where 11 people were shot and killed.

In the “open letter” Earnest said he had planned the attack for at least a month, and also admitted he set the fire at the mosque.

In a series of hearings in both state and federal court Earnest has shown little emotion and less regret. At a preliminary hearing in state court in September 2019 he smirked and smiled during testimony about the attack, and at a lunch break in the hearing, he turned toward spectators and made a “hang-loose” gesture with one hand, thumb and little finger extended.

Yet in a sentencing memorandum filed last week, his federal defense lawyers argued Earnest has turned a corner. Lawyers wrote Earnest condemned his actions in a phone call from jail that apparently was recorded.

However those comments came two days after jail officials found a document in Earnest’s jail cell where he again advocated for violence against Jews. Defense lawyers downplayed that by saying it was written long before his apparent condemnation of violence.

The lawyers also wanted Earnest to spend his sentence in a state prison, where he would be closer to his family. They said that would help his rehabilitation. But federal prosecutors instead wanted to have Earnest imprisoned at the super-maximum security federal prison in Florence, Colorado — the same facility where notorious criminals such as Sinaloa cartel kingpin Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev are housed.

U.S. District Court Judge Anthony Battaglia said he would recommend that Earnest serve the sentence in federal custody, although it will be up to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to accept him. It was not immediately clear if or how state corrections officials would be included in that decision.

The lawyers said that the turnabout in Earnest’s life from a fledgling nurse to armed hatemonger could be attributed to the “rapid online radicalization” that exploited Earnest’s still-developing immature brain.

They wrote that his road to “a good, productive life was unfortunately interrupted by a young, still-growing and immature mind, the mind of a youth who was still trying to identify who he was and left Mr. Earnest to being vulnerable to peer pressure and a fear of exclusion.”

As of September 2023, Earnest was housed under the custody and control of California state authorities at the California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo, California.

Kaleesh Week Day 1- Khan

All of the khans that exist in my weird little Kaleesh AU + one more who's actually khagan in canon. Emotionally, they are all theater kids, forced into geopolitics so you can guess how that turned out

- Ronderu lij Kummar: Technically a khan because almost everyone else who could claim the title is dead and her older brother (Ankar, I'm sure he'll show up at some point) doesn't want it. Understandably, not happy to be here. - Older Brother: I don't...exactly...have a name for him yet, but he's Qy's adopted older brother and the khagan in this weird little universe (until... he dies... RIP to you sir). Probably the only one of these characters who's unironically a decent person, no pesky murders hiding in his backstory. - Bentailis san Sk'ar: Token goth. He looks like this because he originally started as another character ('Mad Scientist', also unnamed-- are you sensing a trend?), and then slowly became Sk'ar. Don't worry though, he still turns into a nine-foot tall vampire-looking guy, through the power of self-experimentation and flexible scientific ethics. - Punk Rock: Khan of one of the clans in the Rim cities (yes, we're going for a cyberpunk-y kind of vibe here; yes, the history there is complicated because of the Yam'rii colonization; and yes, I did make his design after watching ATSV). Most important things to know about him is that he's a rad, sort of wry dude and him and Ronderu's brother have history. - Qymaen jai Sheelal: Yeah! He's not a khan in this world, I'm surprised too! But he's his adopted brother's most trusted commander (no way that could go wrong, right...haha), and had been nicknamed khann-ul when he was younger because he led an uprising to take vengeance on the forces that killed his parents when he was all of 14...so yeah, he's still more or less the same Qymaen.

Dr. Alan L. Hart’s Unpublished Autobiography

Dr. Alan Hart, celebrated physician and pioneer of the x-ray photography in the detection of tuberculosis, was one of the first transgender men to receive gender confirmation surgery in the United States. Although his will stipulated that his personal papers and photographs be destroyed, earlier in his life he expressed a serious desire to publish an autobiography describing his experience as a trans man and doctor, to the point of writing out a manuscript which he sent, along with letters detailing his experience, to Mary Roberts Rinehart, renowned mystery writer[1]. The manuscript was never published and was probably destroyed, making his account of his experience in the letters the closest thing we have to his autobiography. You can find the digitized copy of the letters in the note below, but I’ve also included a transcription under the cut for accessibility purposes.

My dear Mrs. Rinehart:

I should not have the temerity to approach you as I am doing were it not for two things: First, the fact that both you and Dr. Rinehart belong to the medical world – of which I, too, am a part – and second, my conviction that you are as big and liberal-minded as your stories would indicate. So I venture to ask that you will read my letter and consider it.

I was graduated from the Medical School of the University of Oregon (in Portland) in 1917 at the age of 27. Until that time – thru common school, High School. University and professional school – I lived as a woman. Shortly before my graduation I consulted a psychiatrist in Portland, Dr. Gilbert, a physician of established reputation; and with him made a complete study of my case, my individual history and that of my family. This was followed by a complete, careful physical examination. The diagnosis arrived at may be summarized as follows: Complete, congenital and incurable Homosexuality together with a marked modification of the physical organization from the feminine type.

At this stage in my career, life had become so unbearable that I felt myself confronted by only two alternative courses – either to kill myself or refuse to live longer in my misfit role of a woman. I chose the latter, and submitted myself for an exploratory laperotomy for the purpose of establishing definitely and indisputably my proper role, with the result that I left the hospital as a man.

To say the least, the situation in which I now found myself, bristled with difficulties. My family did not know of my operation nor of my transformation; neither did my most intimate friends. I was faced with the problem of making a living and my way in the world alone. It was in war time and my eligibility for the military service was an open question. The legality of the whole procedure was uncertain. The legal phase of the matter was taken up and attended to for me by Judge John B. Cleland of Portland, Oregon. Since I dreaded ridicule and publicity, and feared my friends might feel themselves embarrassed by what I had done, I resolved simply to drop out of their ken, and with that in view, secured an interneship in the City and County Hospital in San Fransisco and went there to take up my duties as soon as I was able to do so.

My work went smoothly and well and things seemed in a fair way to adjust themselves, when by chance I was recognized at a public clinic by a young woman physician who had attended university at the same time I did. She spread the story among her acquaintances in the hospitals of the city, that I had once dressed as a woman and was now posing as a man. This coming to my ears, I went to the Superintendent of our hospital – told him the truth of the case – showed him my documentary proofs and voluntarily resigned. He gave me assurance that he would squelch any further notoriety about the hospital. Imagine my feelings, therefore, only a few days later, to open the Examiner one morning and find a garbled account of the whole thing smeared in broad head-lines across the page. The story was carefully written to convey the impression that I was a rank imposter and had fled before the righteous indignation of the authorities; it had been inspired by the young woman who had recognized me and the heads of the hospital I had just left.

I took my letters and statements and went with them to the editor of the Examiner. He realized, at once, that his paper was being used as an instrument of spite and killed the story in the city and stopped further stuff from going out over the Associated Press.

I was more or less stunned by what had happened. I had been prepared for criticism and ridicule – I was accustomed to them. But it had never occurred to me that people might want to hound and persecute me for my change in role. I had lived as a woman because that was my social standing, and had been made fun of and called ‘half-man, and now when I had faced the situation and righted the grotesquely false position in which I had lived so long, it seemed that the public would damn me because I had once, perforce, worn skirts. I tried to get other hospital work. I went to the men who had been my chiefs and told them the truth and asked their aid in securing another position; to a man they turned me down. I tried to get other sorts of work and failed for the same reason as soon as I gave my name. Then my family employed counsel and instituted proceedings to have my name legally changed; and the medical school from which I had been graduated served notice on us that if we persisted they would rescind my diploma and have me disbarred from practice.

Finally, I made up my mind to ‘face the music’ without any attempt at concealment, so I went back home to the little town where I had been raised and gone to school. That was the hardest thing I ever did. This over, I went down into the woods in Southern Oregon and ran a hospital for the lumbermen and spruce boys until the Influenza had passed and the war was over. In the early Spring of 1918, I came to Montana and located at Huntley, a few miles east of Billings where I practiced until last February. Crops have been very poor in Montana for several years and that made collections very slow; the work was hard and trying, covering as it did a territory seventy miles long. I was anxious to work into X-Ray and diagnosis instead of general country practise, so I came last Spring to Thermopolis to be Roentgenologist and Pathologise in Dr. Hamilton’s hospital here. So far as I know my history is not known to anyone in this part of the country.

To establish the authenticity of my story and give you some side-lights upon it, I am enclosing a number of letters from Dr. Gilbert and others, relative to my predicament. Dr. Gilbert is a man well known in his specialty. He published a detailed medical account of the whole affair in The Jounral of Nervous and Mental Diseases for October, 1920. I should be glad to furnish you with a reprint of this article, at a future time, should you care to see it.

As you will observe in these letters, Dr. Gilbert has always urged me to write and publish my own story. In the height of my trouble in 1918, I wrote a first-draft of an auto-biography – or rather it boiled out from me without let or hindrance. This Spring I have gone over it and re-written it with a view to publication. The manuscript is now in the hands of the copyist. I want to ask you to read it and give me your opinion of it and advise me as to its publication.

I do not wish to sail under false colors, and so I will admit at once that my motives are not altogether altruistic in this. My purpose in writing the book has been serious – and my hope that it might accomplish some good for my fellow-unfortunates, very strong – but there is another side to the matter: It is a grave undertaking to bare one’s whole heart before the world; and it is too much to expect a man to do so without reward. I had neither money nor backing when I embarked upon my career as a man four years ago this month; I have had every inch of the way to fight; I have asked no favors from anyone. But it has been mighty hard work and nerve-racking and I am tired. I have never asked for sympathy nor do I want it; I am still capable of standing on my two legs that have held me up for thirty-one years. But if I can make something out of this book, it will relieve the financial pressure and make life much easier and pleasanter for me. So I admit that my motives are mixed; but whose are not?

I have read many of your stories – you are the only writer I know who can get the right atmosphere for things medical. I have also read your accounts of your trips thru the West and your husband’s articles in the Post. Will you pardon the slang, if I say that these have given me a hunch that you are ‘regular fellows’? And because of this, I have dared to intrude myself upon you. I shall be more than grateful, if you will allow me to send you the manuscript and give me a personal interview before you return East. I want your criticism and advice.

I have made some notations on the letters enclosed to orient them properly in the current of events. These papers I should like to have returned as I value them highly. I have had to throw overboard almost all the associations and friendships and foundations of the first twenty-seven years of my life; the little that is left, I prize.

I shall await a reply from you with eagerness.

My dear Mrs. Rinehart:

It is hard for me to tell you what my feelings were when I had read your letter. I had hoped but hardly dared expect courtesy and understanding of this type. I appreciate it with my whole heart.

I understand your hesitation in expressing an opinion as to the feasibility of publication, especially in view of the character of the subject-matter. It will mean a good deal to me to have you read the manuscript. It will go forward to you tomorrow.

As much as I shall value an opinion of yours on this manuscript, I am even more interested to know whether you will think I have any gift for writing. When I was younger I was interested in literature, and wrote a little while I was in college. Then for ten years the writing instinct was entirely submerged. During the past year it has cropped out again. My time is pretty well taken up, but I have been writing in spare hours a sort of journal of a doctor’s life. It seems to me that a physician’s life is richer than most men’s in the elements of both tragedy and comedy; but more than that I want to picture his own individuality – the graduation with high ideals of service in his profession and bounding ambition, the struggle to make a living and pay the bills, the fight to keep his idealism in the face of ungrateful patients and fee-splitting, cut-rate competitors, the flickering down of his desire to serve as he sees the quack’s commercial success, the waning of youth and its enthusiasms and courage under the burden of the mid-day, the occasional flarings of the old ambitions and hopes and the slowly-dawning realization that the heights are for only the few among whose number he is not, the final determination to play out the game as it has been given him and go out of the world a ‘good sport’ if nothing else. The whole thing a sort of resume of the flickering and blazing and dying of the torch of life. Is the idea worth anything, or am I wasting my time trying to write it down?

I shall be obliged to go to Billings in a very short time to attend to some business connected with my property in Montana. If it would not be asking too much, I should like above all things to go down and meet you and Doctor Rinehart, as much as anything else to express my appreciation of your good sportsmanship more fittingly.

(pretty sure you put it in the right place before! dont worry haha)

dream - i never really paid much attention to holidays, but there were some people in the village celebrated something they called "Litha," id see them light bonfires and dance, flowers woven into hair or fur, and i just remembered they looked so pretty and like they were actually having fun, but i dared not join in, not after my brothers death...

Dust - New years, i always saw it as a time to improve myself....make a new start and leave it all behind. Of course, that never happened, im such a failure, i could never improve

Killer - i was never raised very religious, but mum was, so i guess Eid ul-Fitr. We always had great sweets and i remember putting up pretty decorations, it always looked pretty and i just remember it being like, so cool

Horror - Christmas, spending time with my family and cooking a huge meal for them all to enjoy? Right up my alley! I always hosted, pretty much every year, and seeing the joy on my siblings face at the food that was so limited dressed up to be a meal fit for a king... It was just perfect!

Nightmare - I was always fond of All Hallows Eve. Once, i dressed myself up to be seen as a demonic spirit to scare some villagers scream, i can still see the look on their faces all these years later, and i could help those who were kind to me when they came to my door for offerings, of course, i couldnt let them know thats what i was doing. I did always enjoyed apple bobbing too... That always upset mother haha, something about it "disgracing our souls," never cared much myself honestly.

Ink - oh, huh? Holidays? uhhh, i dont know... Oh! Guy Fawks - Bonfire Night! I always made the guy to put on the bonfire, and fireworks are pretty too! Great to paint, and pretty simple haha! (Nightmare looks on in horror)

Error - Bah humbug - (Its christmas; he likes spending time with family, even if he doesnt want to admit it)

Geno - oh, i always liked boxing day, christmas was always so hectic, and the next day you got to just sit around and eat leftovers! I liked halloween too, we always went to the graveyard and lit candles for the graves, i always liked doing that.

Cross - ...Would it be silly to say St. George's Day? I grew up on those stories, and wanted to be like him when i grew up, a strong and noble soldier...

Lust - Valentines..... ( he used to give out wild flowers he picked to people on the streets as gifts, but he never found anyone who'd give one back...now he never will.)

Sans - not a ghost, but i think you can guess... (its april fools)

I really wanted to put a variety of holidays in here, but i myself am pagan and brought up in a mostly christian country, so if i messed up with anything, im sorry, it was not my intention - also, i put a bunch of holidays that are only celebrated over here in the uk, i didnt really think about it, and now there here - this au is mostly based on british history, because thats what im familiar with, and most of my historical knowledge is just from my own head, but theyre not really british, they live in some weird world that doesnt really exist so idk, think what you will haha

ii was not sure what i wanted to draw here, and it ended up being nothing - but theres a change i might add some at a later date)

but!! im glad that people are making their own interpretations of the underlust au and its story; and with sans especially, more people are accepting him and seeing him in a better light !

he's not just the sans au variant who's reduced to being 'that pervert'.

he respects people and their boundaries. yes, he can be heavy on the flirting, but if you tell him that you're uncomfortable, he'll understandably back off. he cant make the heat thing go away, its always gonna be there, but surely, monsterkind has found ways to suppress it and deal with it other than the obvious solution.

lust can be kind, and caring, and soft, and sassy, and charismatic. patient and understanding. a good friend. a loving partner.

Ace is 100% the bully in some of your books. He teases you relentlessly and may even play an occasional joke or two, but he made it clear that only he was allowed to do that. Anyone else that dared to mess with you would face his wrath…which may be one of the reasons that you fell for him

Ace doesn’t really have manners like normal people so him barging in your dorm isn’t too unusual. He thought he’d see you with your head deep in a book as usual and yes he did, but imagine his surprise when he sees you giggling like a crazy person while kicking your legs crazily

“What cha’ doin’?” [yes he says it like Isabella] Ace’s words made your blood go cold as you turned around slowly as if you were in a horror movie only to see Ace behind you with a shit eating grin

Before you knew it, your book was snatched out of your hands and Ace was reading the lines in it, all the while keeping you away as you desperately tried to grab it back from him. You were mortified, to say the least, being well aware of Ace’s teasing nature and surely this is not something he would let you live down for as long as the two of you are together…

But when a frown grows on Ace’s face, you’re the one that ends up confused. Ace’s mood had suddenly switched and it turns out that the little sucker is jealous! He complains about the male lead in the book, saying that Ace is waaaay better than him so why don’t you ever smile like that around him?

Shocked isn’t even the word but relief surely is! You never thought that your hobby would actually make Ace of all people jealous…then maybe you should stay quiet about how many of them have become your husbands in your mind…

‘The CEO likes me’ trope no one is changing my mind

Azul was nothing but a gentleman to you, at all times, and he always seems to have very nice dates planned out. It was behind you how he managed to take your breath away each and every time. At some point, you were SERIOUSLY convinced that Azul has been reading your books and acting on them

The merman even had a darker side to him, just like the ML’s in your book! You’d heard the rumors but decided that maybe, just maybe Azul was actually different from what you’d heard and how glad you were to find out that you were right

You still kept up your reading hobby, but you definitely kept it on the low. You couldn’t be so embarrassing about your hobby around Azul but that didn’t matter because Azul was soon to find out

It would sometimes get boring waiting around for Azul to be finished with work and his duties as you sat in his office and waited so one day you brought one of your books, fully intent on finishing it but you accidentally dozed off…

When you woke up, all you saw was Azul intently reading the book you had bought and like you’d been shot with an arrow laced with horror, you sat up quickly. You stammered as you tried to think of something, ANYTHING to somehow explain that book but Azul didn’t even seem to care as he just showed you a page

It seems…Azul was also hooked! He was giving critique to the writing and the characters thoroughly, leaving you stunned momentarily but then you jumped right in with expressing your feelings on the book as well!

Azul is completely accepting of your hobby and even asks you to recommend him some!! He tries his best to finish them all and you guys have like a little book club thing whenever he does 🥰 I just think Azul would be an appreciator of romance novels.

UT wedding HCs because my best friend asked

Comic(UT sans)- He never imagined having a partner, let alone getting married. He wants his wedding to be what his spouse dreamed of. (Also because he's too lazy to plan). Day of? He's a nervous fucking wreck. He wants the day to be amazing so he's worried.

Creampuff (UT Pap)- He is very hands on with the planning. He is low-key the male version of bridezilla tbh but not very extreme. I'm going to be honest, he cries during the ceremony. Just a true dorky boi.

Blue(US sans)- Like Comic, never expected a partner. Blue is punning up a storm. Whilst they are are planning expect a pun every few seconds. Surprisingly day of the ceremony he's extremely serious.

Stretch(US Pap) - Stretch never imagined himself getting married, especially when he was younger he just imagined being with his brother or alone forever. He tries to help best of his abilities with planning. Day of ceremony like Creampuff he is a dork so he might cry. Unlike Creampuff it's full on ugly happy crying. He's just glad he doesn't have to be alone for the rest of his life(he has autophobia)

Scarlet(UF sans)- he won't admit it but he's always dreamed of getting married. He tries to plan everything unless his partner says otherwise. Although days of he's a nervous wreck.

Edge(UF Pap)- Was always iffy on the concept of a relationship. He didn't know if he wanted one or not. He helps with planning and asks hsi partners opinion constantly. He is extremely awkward day of.

Spice(HT Sans)- He was once Comic so they are similar. He never imagined getting married. He helps them plan (the wedding is gonna end up with more food than necessary). He is actually more confident than sans at the ceremony. Also Aliza is the flower girl there is no negotiation there.

Sugar(HT Pap)-Similar to Creampuff because he used to be him. He loves planning with his partner. He does shed a few tears (not as bad as Stretch or Creampuff tho)

Peach(UL sans)- He never took love seriously so getting married? Oh shit he didn't expect this. He's a nervous wreck eh tries to help plan, he doesn't know if his partner will approve of some things he wants so he tries to take his thoughts. At the ceremony? Acts like a overly excited child.(Also he invites Nightmare you cannot stop me)

Velvet(UL Pap)- always dreamed of getting married so extremely excited. He wants to plan everything. Also at ceremony he attempts to take the kiss too far, s/o can either reel him in or let him do it.

The two fell in love and eventually were married and pregnant, but divorced on amicable terms because Rani realized during the pregnancy that she was not up to being a parent. It was tough on the two of them because they were an otherwise perfect match.

🌉 Evie was born in San Francisco, California, and has lived there all her life up until her and Scott's move to Cedar Cove when he got a new job offer.

👶 Scott chose the name "Evelyn" partly because he liked the way it sounded and partly because some of its meanings include "desired", "desired child", and "wanted", as Scott had always wanted to be a father. But it was quickly shortened to "Evie" as he began using "Evie-bear" as a name of endearment for her.

👨‍👧 Rani would sometimes come to visit Scott and Evie, being more of an Auntie figure to her. They get along pretty well, but it could be a bit awkward since Rani and Scott still had some feelings for each other and neither of them had really had any new partners. Evie never resented Rani for leaving, but would often feel like she missed out on having a great mother figure.

☪️ Both Evie and her dad are cultural semi-practicing Muslims. Scott has Islamic ancestry, but grew up in a household that wasn't strictly religious. Most of his and Evie's practicing of the religion involves fasting on Ramadan, celebrating Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-al-adha, not eating pork or drinking alcohol, and the occasional prayer.

🐱 Scott and Evie adopted Daisy just after Evie graduated middle school. Scott had always wanted a cat as a kid, but his father was deathly allergic. This made Scott afraid to get a furry pet for years, even after he'd moved out. But with Evie loving cats just as much as he does, he eventually decided "enough" and adopted a month-old white-and-orange rescue kitten. Daisy is quiet and calm, but at the same time, her Orange Cat side shows through quite often and she also gets freaked out by large groups of people.

🐹 Scott and Evie adopted Cheese Nugget (sometimes called "Cheesy") in the Fall of Evie's first year at Berry because Scott loves hamsters just as much as he does cats. Don't worry, they make sure to keep Daisy and Cheesy far away from each other. Daisy doesn't know that Cheesy even exists and they intend to keep it that way.

Evie's HSS Story

🚚 Evie hates drastic changes, and hopes to live a life that is stable and secure. At the very least, she wants to be able to know how to mitigate drastic changes. Evie was not a fan of having to move up North. She was leaving behind the home she'd lived in since childhood and the few friends she had made. But she did also hope to end up in a better high school environment.

🫢 Evie started out as very cautious, nervous, and impulsive before coming to Berry. She was bullied fairly often in early elementary school and sometimes had trouble making a lot of friends. When she came to Berry, she was very unsure of it at first and did still have some difficulty, but she was eventually able to take the opportunity of a fresh start and begin pushing herself to be a more confident, outspoken, and actively helpful person. She's been able to make friends and stand up to bullies and assholes much more easily at Berry, though it could still be a bit difficult sometimes.

🤵‍♀️ Evie is a very GNC cis girl and has been for as far back as she can remember. She tends to prefer masc clothing and hair styles, she's very proud of her masc form and likes to work on maintaining her muscular build, she almost exclusively likes role-reversed romances and behaves accordingly with Aiden, and she struggles majorly with genital dysphoria. Seeing Evie being so open with her GNC appearance and behaviors eventually inspires him to step out of his comfort zone and start trying out some GNC styles himself, such as crop tops, short shorts, and dresses.

🏈 Evie has done basketball ever since she was 4, and football ever since late middle school. Berry High was her first time getting into baseball. Though even for basketball, she'd never been on an official team for any of those sports until Berry. But she also greatly enjoys running and has done track-and-field in her freshman year. She had wanted to join football back then, but was a lot more unsure about it. Even in Berry she was a bit unsure, but seeing how welcoming Julian and Caleb were and encouraging her to join made her feel more confident about it.

🫂 Of the people she's met during her time at Berry, she's closest to Emma Hawkins, Jade Ali, Caleb Michell, Michael Harrison, Maria Flores, Caleb Mitchell, Cher Lee (my HSS:CA f!MC) and Bear Lee (her twin), Sakura Watanabe, Julian Castillo, Cameron Levy, Kieran Hale, Frank Walter, Koh Sunya, Myra Khandaar, Ajay Bhandari, Skye Crandall, and Payton Saunders. And Aiden Zhou, of course, but that goes without saying.

🎹 Evie was drawn to Aiden right when she first saw him. She didn't crush on him just yet, but she was captivated by his distinguished appearance and she would try to get to know him better at Brian's party. It wasn't until after he invited her to listen to him play piano that she officially started crushing on him and began actively pursuing him.

👫 Evie was drawn to Aiden for a couple of reasons. There's the fact that he was kind and she found him attractive as all hell, of course. But the big one for her is that she could see a lot of herself in him. He was reserved, shy, insecure, and socially awkward, and she could relate to that. But he was also passionate and dedicated to his craft, and seeing that inspired her to do better at her own interests and passions.

😬 Knowing the story of her parents' backstory has made Evie a little bit cautious about her own relationships; she'd always want to make sure that her partner was 100% comfortable with her and that she wasn't forcing them into doing anything they didn't want to do. This especially shows as she gets into a relationship with Aiden, a normally reserved guy who starts to step out of his comfort zone more often while dating her. She always kept it mostly friendly with him, but would start to express more romantic gestures and feelings when she learned for sure that he liked her. Her insecurity would be a point of contention between them later on in their relationship, but eventually they'd be able to work it out together.

🏀 Evie was very infuriated by Band and Cheer siding against Basketball. Although she sympathized with them on how Isa was treating them unfairly, she despised that they were primarily going after the team over it. It pissed her off even more when Aiden seemed to defend it and even agreed with Mia that the team was "like a second Isa". For a while she'd contemplated whether or not to bring it up, but seeing how everyone did seem to acknowledge they were caught up in their stress, she figured it'd be okay to let it go. Though she and Aiden would eventually discuss it later.

🎤 Evie has mixed feelings on her singing skills. She's not amazing, but she can carry a tune well enough. Sometimes she sings karaoke with no one else and likes how it sounds, other times she isn't so confident about it. But she does seem to be a little less nervous about it when singing with a partner, as discovered by her karaoke with Aiden at Brian's party. Eventually her singing skills will improve as Evie-Aiden duets almost certainly become a regular thing.

👑 Evie ended up winning Homecoming Queen, Payton's Guest of Honor, and Prom Queen. Hoco and Prom titles were never something she really cared about, but she still felt honored to win them.

🎭 Evie has always loved imaginary play-pretend games as a kid and thus does take a little bit of interest in theatre, and would feel ready to try it out by the start of HSS:CA. She was cast as the princess for one part of auditions, but her role of preference was the Knight. However, Danielle's sabotage causing her to break her leg would leave her very distraught, as she was missing out on both football and on theatre that quarter.

Miscellaneous Personality Trivia

💜 Evie's favorite colors include purples, powder pinks, and mint greens.

🎵 Evie can't play an instrument to save her life. She'd taken a few lessons as a kid once, but it did not work out. Aiden does think she might have a secret talent for percussion, though.

💞 Besides Aiden, Evie has also felt attraction for Michael Harrison, Maria Flores, Julian Castillo, and Kieran Hale. None nearly as strongly as Aiden, though. But later on in life, Aiden and Evie may agree to an open marriage and occasionally swing with Michael and Maria.

🏳️‍🌈 Evie is bi with a huge preference for guys. She first realized she wasn't straight around the end of 7th grade and knew for sure she was bi in 9th grade. However there was a lot of confusion for her in figuring this out because of her heavy preference for men, and stigmas that bi women with a male preference "aren't queer enough" or "just looking for attention". In fact, she didn't even have her first actual girl-crush until she met Maria. But soon enough, she was able to come to terms with the fact that her preference for men doesn't make her any less bi.

📝 Evie loves creative writing and has done it since she was a kid. This is in part motivated by the fact that she dislikes most of the romance/erotic stories genre. While she has nothing against those who do like them, and there are some movies that she can still enjoy even with a normative main romance, she still has a bit of contempt for the genre because of how pretty much none of them cater to more role-reversed romance fantasies. So she’s always felt pretty alienated in the genre, and has considered a career as an author so she can publish stories with GNC romance.

✈️ Evie has a bit of an attachment to vehicles like trains and airplanes and gets a bit excited about going on them. A lot of the time, Scott would let her help him out with his model train displays.

⭐ Evie loves cute and pretty stuff. Heart shapes, star shapes, flowers and flower shapes, butterflies, smiley faces, cats, glittery/shiny/sparkly/shimmery things, squeaky things, etc. You can rip that stuff from her cold, dead hands.

🌸 Evie adores scented products and has a huge collection of lotions, gel bead freshners, soaps, and other bath/home/care products that have scents she loves. Her favorite scents include eucalyptus, lavender, mint, cherry, and powder.

🎶 Even though Evie can't play a musical instrument for shit and a lot of the musical terminology Aiden uses is utter nonsense to her, she's quite the enthusiast for good songs and soundtracks. The Incredibles, The Matrix, Super Mario Galaxy, James Bond, and many more. She excitedly raves to Aiden about her favorite soundtracks from movies, video games, TV shows, etc. Often she'll even recommend a show or movie to him partly on the basis of it having a bomb-ass soundtrack, and almost 100% of the time he will enjoy it and they'll rave about the best parts of the soundtrack together.

📸 Evie puts great value on having hard physical records of memories, much unlike her boyfriend who prefers to remember things through music. Sometimes she does like to maintain memories through associations, but out of the fear of the possibility that she could forget certain good or important memories, she always tries to keep photos, notes/journal entries, or any other form of direct record.

☕ Evie does not like coffee. It smells nice, but the taste is awful to her. She much prefers tea (especially Earl Grey and mint teas), hot cocoa, and warm apple cider.

🌶️ Evie loathes spicy food. Hot peppers, spicy-flavored chips, heck, even a lot of South Asian/Indian dishes. She hates the taste and doesn't understand the appeal at all.

Bonus Meta Fun Facts:

In my first HSS playthrough, I named my MC "Cady Heron" after the character from "Mean Girls", which I personally consider to be one of my most favorite high school movies of all time. By my second playthrough, I changed it to "Evie Ayana" to make the character more personalized.

My username "cadybear420" comes from hearing Scott call my MC "Cady-bear" all the time in that first playthrough. Plus 420 added on because weed number funny.

Evie, "Cady" at the time, originally started out having the wavy blonde hairstyle. But when I got to Book 2, I changed it to the short brown hairstyle. But I do like to headcanon she did have long bleached hair at the start of her freshman year in high school.

Prior to making this profile, 3 out of my total of 7 playthroughs took Evie on some greatly alternative routes. Two where Evie romanced Michael; one where Evie did band and was good at it; and one where Evie sucked at raising school spirit, was a jerk to the Hearst kids, and led on Emma so she could ask Aiden to homecoming.

My headcanons for her story during the HSS:CA timeline are currently tentative. Not only because it's been a while since I last played the trilogy, but also because I might change up a lot of the canon for my headcanons. We'll see.
