i was reading up on ars goetia for solomon reasons, and i noticed something that piqued my interest. most if not all his pact demons are said to command legions of demons themselves (notably eligos with 60 legions, belial with 80 legions, and paimon with 200 legions). a lot of them even have a whole host of abilities comparable to barbatos’ time-related powers (in fact many are listed to be able to speak past and future, or to manipulate it, much like barbatos).

all this to say i think it would be neat if in canon part of the reason solomon is considered so powerful is not only because he has powerful magic in his own right, but also because he commands an army of 72 demons, most of which have entire armies of their own and special abilities to boot.

This is kind of harddd man 😭 born to say Cherry forced to say Curly. Cherry's a character that we actually saw more of, but I have this idea of Curly in my head that's so perfect to me...he's like half my oc...I'm superrr attached to Cherry but I do have to be real w myself cuz whenever I see Curly's name mentioned in any fic or any post it's like a wild lion sighting i get sooo hype

OHH!!!! GET READY BC I AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO TALK ABT IT!!! OJ's the leader of this small little bandit group with Light-Bulb and Yin-Yang. Think cartoon lackeys they're super loyal to each other, but all a bit bad at their jobs. For a long time OJ got by without any scratches or cracks in his glass. He thought it was rather impressive- because he's made of glass. No one would ever expect a glass object to be a bandit and survive as long as him! But then one day while he's turned around Paper, the then Sheriff of a town he's attacking, shoots him in the back. Now he has this super ugly crack in the top of his glass. He's devastated. So so sad. But he's like you know what! We did good today! Tries to look on the good side of it all. He gives his two companions a lil speech, praising them for how good they did, holds up a carton of orange juice for a toast- dumps it into himself- And its spoiled.

After getting spoiled he complains for like an entire day. He's SO ANNOYING. but he's sick. So YY and LB put up with it. When they finally get to a new town, he's not really thinking right and gives YY all of their life savings. He tells Yin-Yang to get new orange juice but Yin-Yang is SOOO sick of him that he just has to kick OJ over before leaving to get it. Lightbulb feels bad tho, so she fills him up with some soda they have and Fizzjay is born!!! (Yk how different liquids affect OJ's mood? Fizzjay is like he's on a sugar rush.) Fizzjay and LB steal a carriage, rob a bank, lose the police by exploding a water tower, then he crashes into the store Paper and Silver are at causing another fire and burning all the money..... (forgot to mention but somehow everywhere he goes a fire starts. its rarely even intentional 😭) He challenges Paper to a duel- but then moments before it begins the soda wears off. He realises how stupid it is but its too late! Paper shoots him.

There's also the fact that he and Paper are childhood friends. It isn't until the duel that OJ realises. For a while Paper thought he was dead. OJ disapeared as a child after a fire burned down their home, and he's been a bandit ever since. Now Paper get's that second shot on him, the one in the very middle of his glass (DONT ASK HOW HE DIDNT DIE OBJECT PHYSICS) he's stalled recognizing him and Yin-Yang has to save OJ in the very last minute from a fight from Evil Paper. Currently (since its an RP) We've just gotten back to them. He's being pathetic again. Super sad bc he's got an ugly crack and his Childhood friend is sooo disapointed in him. But LB and Yin-Yang are gunna cheer him up.

Gem's actor; yes actually! Our original ending was actually..uhm.. how do I say this..okay I think our show would have actually been rated R if we had the original ending we planned

Shelby's actor; uuh, personally I think it was inspired by sausages season 1 corruption I think it was supposed to be a continuation of that and with a closing space for it since this is our final season so we wanted to close off any kind of potholes and I think this was the perfect way to do it by getting my character corrupted and having {*sausages actor*} help my character out with this whole thing cuz that was like a whole friendship arc I never thought I would see but honestly watching it back I loved how it came out

Shelby's actor; uh, season 2 nature's wife was actually {*sausages actor*} idea but we like went along with it, mind you this was before it was announced to the crew me and {*Katherine's actor*} was actually dating

HI ANON hmmm hm hm………… okay so honestly. i’m not super into yanderes at all so i don’t know if i’ll have much to contribute with when it comes to this kinda thing :’3 bUT i do love cult leader!geto to the moon and back + i’ve been thinking of him incessantly lately + i think he’s only a couple steps away from being a yan lol.

geto’s whole Thing is his contrast; he can kill a man swiftly, cruelly, only to go meet his beloved family right after with a genuine smile on his face. (we see that almost instantly in jjk 0!!) he really does have that cruel / soft contrast that i assume a bunch of yan content is built on…. he would treasure his beloved soooo dearly and i absolutely don’t think he’d shy away from killing any non-sorcerers that were giving them trouble… but again!! this isn’t even yan!geto, this is literally just Geto. that’s just how he is in canon 😭😭 he’s willing to go to any lenghts to protect his loved ones, and his own morals are aligned towards his view of non-sorcerers as non-human. he doesn’t see them as human, so why would he feel guilty for killing them?

but ok so to kinda go back to the idea of yan!geto… i think the biggest difference between him and yan!gojo (imo!!) is that gojo is willing to look past his morals to keep you safe, knowing that it’s Wrong but choosing not to care, while geto doesn’t let go of his morals — instead, he twists them until they align with what he’s doing. if that makes sense. to him, doing what he does for you is morally just. so he doesn’t feel shame or guilt for it.

aaaaand this is also why i don’t really feel Equipped to talk abt him….. because yan!geto would probably be a lot Worse than yan!gojo …….. and i’m embarrassingly sensitive to dark content :’3 i can see the appeal and the yan undertones are absolutely There but i think i see cult leader!geto in a very moe light PHJEHSJD he’s… my meowmeow. he can do no wrong. he hasn’t had a single evil thought in his Life <33

like. it’s just so telling that geto canonically lets his family believe what they want, and do what they want; he doesn’t force them to see non-sorcerers the same way he does, he doesn’t keep nanako & mimiko from exploring the world and interacting w non-sorcerers, and so on!! his own beliefs are steadfast, but he doesn’t use them as an excuse to confine the people he cares for. he trusts them and loves them and even though i’m sure he’s paranoid he lets them run free.

overall i see cult leader!geto as someone who hides his inherent softness behind a dark exterior, and while he’s far more willing to be cruel than hs suguru was, he never really changed at his core!! he’s just overflowing with softness and care. we see this so clearly in the scene where he’s alone with nanamimi, his girls, and everything is soft and quiet and geto is completely unguarded. and he’s so, so soft. his softness doesn’t even have a twisted hint to it, he just loves you. and he wants the best for you. i think the horror would only come from seeing how quickly he goes from cooing into your ear to disposing of a non-sorcerer with a freezing look in his eyes; the whiplash is scary. but if it scared his s/o i think he’d be hell-bent on not letting you see him like that unless absolutely necessary.

it’s difficult because so much of his character in this stage of his life has to do with cruelty, but all he truly wants at his core is to create a world where his loved ones will be happy :(( where he can protect them properly. idk i just can’t really see cult leader!geto as toxic at the end of the day….. he’s a puppydog to me. a foxcoded, silly little guy. despite his cult leader / genocide loving tendencies i think he would be a very soft, selfless lover <333 overwhelmingly devoted. the weight of his devotion could honestly be frightening and i feel like he could be sweet in a kind of twisted way (something like this) but at the end of the day he’s very particular about only showing you his soft side.

Sini: I will say this, even though he did in fact show remorse in that instance I can’t blame the others for still being bitchy and pissed with him. Even if he had a good reason, which he did, what he did was still majorly fucked up. He was an asshole throughout the whole trial, an asshole to Gonta until that one moment, and then led him to his brutal death. I’m not saying how they treated him at that moment was good, but they aren’t really going to be thinking too rationally after all that. Ig one thing you could say is that they tend to not treat other culprits like Kirumi that way, but in that case I’d say they should’ve overall had written the characters reactions post trial or what not differently in general

Ves: oh no i absolutely think how the characters treat kokichi after ch4 is justified. i just think the op's casual dismissal is. UHHHH shoulda specified i was talking abt them and not the cast, sorry! kokichi was absolutely an asshole and deserved to get treated like one, but i think op fell too in line with the characters

So I associate Vinny with the sacrificial lamb because not only was he also effected by slenderman, habit and the rake for the entire duration of ANY LIFE HES LIVED, literally this works for basically every iteration of Vinnie.

He was blindly lead along until his inevitable death that he was unknowingly helping with. He was basically tagged as "Prime meat" for all 3 of them.

He was so blindly loyal, he did what he was told to do, what he thought was best, just to be lead to death. And HIS death was the one that was needed, it's ALWAYS Vinnie.

Vinnie is the one with the disease, VINNIE is the one spreading it to others, to put an end to it HE needs to die for the sake of others. For the sake of himself, For Evans sake, For HABITS sake.

and if we use the Wikipedia description of "Sacrificial lamb,"

"In cinema and literature, the term sacrificial lamb refers to a supporting character whose sole dramatic purpose is to die, thus galvanizing the protagonist to action and simultaneously demonstrating how evil the villain is. Evan is such a perfect protagonist, he's strong, determined and hes been set on the right path since the beginning, I honestly wish we got way more screen time of him struggling to deal with the possession and how it effects him mentally but we didn't and I can live with that. Unfortunately for him, he was doomed to be in the same body as the antagonist, who is MUCH stronger and way more determined.

From the very beginning Evan has been on vinnies side, loving him, protecting him, defending him even though he wasnt exactly in the right.

All while Vinny was being prepped for killing and he didn't even know it, he thought he was safe, he thought if he bonded with the butcher he wouldn't get killed. He blindly lead others to their deaths all while believing he was just, "doing everything he could."

Vinny was always trying to find some other sort of explanation for something instead of just blaming habit, while Evan was quick to immediately blame him.

Vinnie is convinced slenderman is the real main bad, while Evan is almost firmly believing that it's all habit.

Vinny is literally kept away from everyone in order to prepare for the event that is All good things, and In order to wrap up the story and move onto the next iteration, Vinnie needs to die. And Evan needs to die for Vinnie to be able to die. And that's precisely what happens. Evan even says he has to kill Vinnie first before he will be able to forgive him, which is only achieved after Vinny kills Evan as well.

honestly I don't even know if I'm making any sense right now, I get so overwhelmed talking about Vinnie because he's my absolute favorite and I'm so nervous to accidentally say something that's not actually correct lore wise. so in one of my recent posts, I mentioned that Percy has the mentality of ' how effective are my actions ' over ' how will my actions affect things ' & I wanted to dig a little deeper into that. so here we are.

we'll start with top 10 most brutal anime betrayals: Percy leaving Cassandra behind. he assumes she's dead without checking because this is the most effective course of action. in this moment of brutal survival, he chooses survival over emotion. there is of course the instinct to care for his sister, the desire to scoop her up & take her with him. but in reality, he knows that would have just gotten him caught or killed as well. he doesn't have time to weigh these decisions, he just makes one & it establishes this instinct if that makes sense? yes, the stakes are high but I feel like it speaks to such lengths that this is where he went when there was no time to think. he chooses the most effective path to change his present, to keep pushing on regardless of the implication of what that means. for not only him but also his sister if she WAS dead [ which she was, I just think Delilah brought her back but that is a conversation for another day ]

of course, we can't talk about Percy's decision-making process without bringing up his invention of ' The List ' as it is such a huge part of his character. it's stated over & over again that Percy knew what bringing guns into the world would do & he did it anyway because he knew he could use that kind of destruction to his advantage. In a time when he is powerless, he figures out a way to have power regardless of what it costs. for the bigger picture, for the people who would be affected by it, he didn't even read into what it would cost to create it. Of course, he didn't know his soul was in the mix but I don't think that would have deterred him. again its effect vs affect. if he's getting his revenge, why does he matter after that?

which we can sort of see through the Whitestone arc as he starts to understand that something is going on with his gun but chooses to use it anyways. we can see it super clearly in him giving Grog the cursed, talking sword because it can be used. in grog's hands, it's borderline unstoppable & vox machina can use that to their advantage. regardless of what it costs Grog or the people around him. which is soo ironic coming out of a place where he was fighting possession??? it's almost a moment of ' we no longer have THIS evil power so we need THIS one in its place'. bcs i have nooo doubt in my mind he would have kept using the list if scanlan shorthalt wasn't a genius. but the violence is a part of the appeal of it! because the violence adds to its effectiveness, the brutality means it will accomplish what he needs it to.

how could I make this post abt percy not thinking about the implications of things without mentioning the temple of the raven queen. exhibit (a) in how his impulsiveness hurts people. about how him having this tunnel vision surrounding what they can use to succeed, thus blinding him to how it can hurt the others involved. he see's this vestige, so close he can almost taste it & doesn't think about the implications of reaching out to take it. He gets vex killed! gets vax tangled up in the clutches of the raven queen! [ i think she would have got him regardless but percy was the spark that lit the fuse here ] & his inability to go ' wow how are people going to be affected by this ' hurts the person he wants to protect! the person he wants to impress! the person he wants to survive it all! it is the first real wake-up call when he looks at himself & reassesses how he does things but he simmers on things sooo long before approaching internal battles like that. the longer he can put it off, the better in his book. but this isn't sustainable, this doesn't work in the longevity of relationships!

then we're going to revisit his stance on weapons, again, because retort is a whollle big part of this too. he's looking at this weapon he can use to replace the one he's lost. to get that power back that he feels is no longer in his hand. he doesn't read between the lines because he doesn't want to see what they say. this attempt to avoid any emotions connected to wielding anna ripley's gun drive him to be impulsive, stupid & only look at how he can use this weapon. how effective it can be on the battlefield vs. any emotional backlash he can get from where it came from. this leaves a massive opening for ripley to continue listening to them through the weapon & actively work against vm. this being said, i do think this is The Big Moment where he realizes how this approach cannot be sustained. dying is just the kick in his ass that makes him think ' ok maybe i SHOULD do something about this

looking at the moment in bard's lament when he calls kaylie a miserable girl & threatens scanaln with being miserable like her. he doesn't think about the emotional implications of this. he doesn't think of kaylie who might hear him say this, he doesn't think of how it will affect scanlan. all he can think is 'How can i make him feel what i'm feeling' bcs he thinks, somehow, that will pave the path to scanlan wanting the same thing as him. but it doesn't work that way!! & logically he knows that, but that's not the instinct. the instinct is to lash out, to hit him back & hope it works. except it doesn't & for good fucking reason.

i also have the theory that he picked up this mentality from ripley & observed / mirrored it because he sees how effective it is & that is part of why he's like crippled emotionally. because if he reflects these bits of her, what is stopping him from reflecting other bits of her??? but again, that is another conversation for another day.

there are soo many more examples of this that i will probably dig into some other time but, to sum it up.. we know percy is willing to do some unconventional things. we know he operates in this moral grey area where he weighs his personal goals against the overarching good. he likes to choose good but it is not always the choice he can make. especially when looking at it from what he believes to be a logical place? which is not always the case.

but i think this place also comes from so long suppressing so much of himself. when he feels something, it often translates as fear which translates as frustration there is always this cycle when he gets emotionally invested in something that is sooo hard to beat. so instead he boils it down to what he can do with something, what he can accomplish if he throws those bits out of the window??? which is a habit he tries to break but is ingrained sooo deeply inside of him that all he can do is find a way to balance it. it is always going to be a tool in his arsenal he just learns how to wield it with more grace as he grows older, loses friends, understands his emotions so on & so forth. but anyways that's my two cents on the subject

Once upon a time has been my favorite shown since I was five years old and that’s something that’s never changed. And there’s so many things they’ve missed in the show or they had and did badly with (season 7) and some of it is talked about and some isn’t.

So firstly. Can we please talk about how Regina didn’t love Robin at all. I feel like (as much as I love that show) they’re so based on one thing. “You can only have one truly” and I think that’s utter bullshit. Now listen I know it’s a fictional show. But Regina barely knew shit about him. She just yearned to be loved SOOOO much. She settled for the first person to except her. And it’s the same person, that ignored her dark side. And I’m 100% the kind of person who thinks. You can’t love someone without loving them wholly. And I don’t think he did that. He literally left her the minute his wife got back talking abt some fucking “I made a pack” oh shut up you shit head.

Secondly. I think they had so much potential with Zelena and Emma. And you’re probably like… bitch what? IM TALKING ABOUT FRIENDSHIP! I feel like zelena would definitely make a group chat and name it “coven sisters” with Emma and Regina. I think Emma and Zelena has sooo much in common. They would be really quick friends. And see each other as sisters. And maybe even best friends eventually.

don't do this to me don't tempt me......i have so much to read and watch and people to avoid calling i cannot start thinking about a crossover. but IF i did.

i'd have to reread the assassin trilogy ofc but what i like so much about it is the lack of a single patriarch who moves all the pieces. King Shrewd ends up a victim of his body and old age and power-hungry politics and chronic illness and it's so interesting to think about how that would translate to Logan bc obviously succession is about his disintegrating empire and body. His power is a combination of privilege, business sense, political pandering, and luck--much like Shrewd--but there is genuine love in the Roy kids wanting to be king bc like i said it's ultimate confirmation of Logan's love for them. here i think fitz would be kendall, raised on a lie and indoctrinated early and wavering between absolute support and the desire to get free. the fool would be roman, with no life of his own and loyal to the last but also cynical and self aware about it all and disdainful of the way the politics relates to the interpersonal relationships in a way no other character is bc his love is real but cannot be expressed that way. ofc in this crossover there's nothing romantic between them lmao but yeah they have an antagonistic but loving relationship bc they're both dogs in the same cage. chade, burrich, and galen are the old guard (c-suite in succession like COO, head of PR, legal counsel etc) --witnesses and even instruments of abuse and coverups in the name of the empire, playing a huge part in the violence inherent to these childhoods.

unfortunately i cannot begin to think of who shiv would be just bc she's less of a play on a known archetype than the other characters--not to say any of the others are worse written, just that shivs character is a combination of very specific circumstances that don't really have an equivalent and also there aren't many female characters in the trilogy lol. but actually come to think of it shiv can work as kettricken, tangentially --heir to her own empire, seen as both young girl and sacrifice, then reduced to a wife, isolated, but still determined to exercise any power she has for her own (significantly less altruistic) objectives but at the end of the day being defined by her husband and her marriage, being betrayed by someone close to her. she's continually lacking agency while being punished for trying to seize it due to systemic misogyny. there are differences ofc but given shiv starts the series as a politician, intends to make her husband ceo, and is then lured back in with false promises while still being overlooked as a woman--their characters have differences but it would be soo fascinating to see what would change with the circumstances and what would stay the same, if kettricken were shiv. regal is tom btw and in this universe he succeeds in getting the princess (shiv) to marry him. but i'm flexible on this not sure abt it yet

Anyways my shower thought this morning was if I can choose a favorite between Cortex's N. Sane Trilogy design and Crash 4 design and... I can't!! I really can't!! They're very different... flavors of designs for him, like Orange and Cranberry, but I still RLY love both of them 💖💖💖

Like Crash 4 Cortex is very sleek, streamlined, aerodynamic very clean and has a great silhouette. Like they RLY followed the character design rule of "triangles=evil". Another thing I think they got soooo right where a lot of Cortex designs, even ones I like, have failed is that his proportions are PERFECT. Don't get me wrong Twinsanity Cortex is right behind these two designs, maybe even tied, but it always sticks out way too much for me that his hands look way too small. Here tho, he's sooo perfect, he still looks super short (albeit a lil bit taller than the average Cortex design) and has his dumb big head with those skinny lil arms, but his hands are proportioned correctly to be big enough that any animated motion is still incredibly readable. As much as I love it tho, I almost feel like its... too clean?? There's just not too much detail and he looks, dare I say, marketable. Its a very great design but it feels very modernized to the style of cartoons today, with more simplistic looks and rounded corners.

Whereas N. Sane Trilogy Cortex takes what was so good about the original design and gives it a 4K rendition. I won't lie, a complaint I have with the art style in the trilogy is that it seems like some designs went too realistic in the details while forgetting that it's supposed to be a cartoony universe (imo Trilogy N. Gin looks wretched 💀) BUT! I really dont think that was a problem with Cortex! Granted I may be a bit.. biased ☺️💘 But I rly love how they HD-ified his design. He's got the square flat head which is something I kinda miss in Crash 4's design, and he just has this rough around the edges look that serves him very well. The amount of detail is perfect to me and frankly, I don't know how else to say it, makes him hard to look at but in a good way??? Like u see him and ur like oh this guy is awful. More plz 😂💖💖 I've always enjoyed how original Crash designs for every character have always been rough and not conventionally "cute" or aesthetically appealing like other platformer characters, and I think they nailed that design philosophy perfect with Cortex in the Trilogy uwu

BASICALLYY the transformers r alien robots from the planet cybertron!! they are fighting a civil war and eventually all the fighting wrecks the planet n the battle gets moved 2 earth!! there r two sides, the good guys called the autobots (led by a guy called optimus prime he is popular n beloved in the franchise n fandom) and the evil bad guys r called the Decepticons!! they are led by their evil leader Megatron!! OP and megs are sworn enemies n fight sm, the wars been going on for like over 4 million years (these guys live a LONGGG time) on earth, the autobots r nicer and treat the humans better than the cons anyways (tho no bot/con is rlly pure their like all war criminals LMAOOO) u would not BELIEVEE their mfing drama!! the pettyness of these mech mfs fr

ANYWAYZZ another rlly cool thing abt the series is the many canon queer bots!!! :D their mostly in the idw comics tho, such as the comic series 'more than meets than the eye' and lost light' which features multiple main characters who r gay and have a bunch of mlm relationships, as well as lost light having some t4t lesbians who r prominent EEE it so cool to see!! another example of transgenderformers is in the newest show 'transformers earthspark' which features one of the main characters who is nonbinary!! their sooo cool :]!!
