ST5 POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!
GUYS I FOUND THIS ON REDDIT AND ACTUALLY IT'S QUITE INTERESTING
ST5 Leaks/Fleaks
Gen Plot
Season picks up briefly where we left off in 1986 before jumping into either late 1987 or early 1988. The season is contained entirely in apocalyptic Hawkins. Things with the government are shaky. Owens doesn't appear in the beginning of the season and it's unclear if he's returning, but Ellen Stinson is the new Owens. Hawkins is like a combination of the UD and Kamchatka.
Labyrinths/Mazes being important to both the supernatural plot and the interpersonal relationships. They're inherently linked.
Two songs to be featured are 'Listen to Your Heart' and 'Alone,' both of which were apparently foreshadowed in a previous conversation between Hopper and Joyce, similar to how Hopper's "I'm the puppet, you're the master" to Joyce in S3 basically foreshadowed Eddie's 'Master of Puppets' in S4.
S1 and 2 scenes being referenced are "Nancy and Mike's conversation in the bathtub" and "Hopper + Lando Calrissian"
Lots of importance in COLOR CODING and blocking from the final shot of S4, and a good chunk is told in the costuming—like passing the torch from one character to another as their arcs overlap. For example, Hopper and Will share the "am I the curse and therefore putting my loved ones at risk by being near them?" sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, whereas Eleven stands out because she's the first one coming into her own this season. The white for her represents shedding of false skins.
Character duos this season will be primarily dressed in colors of blue/green and yellow/red.
There's lots of symbolism and foreshadowing for every character in S5 from the moment Will touches his neck in the last sequence of S4.
S4 focused on themes of lies and miscommunication, and everyone is going to have to work through these lies before they can defeat Vecna.
Murray and Argyle are both back. Dimitri and Yuri don't seem to be in the beginning of the season.
One thing left unresolved with the Russian plot. Something important will happen involving the machine and the green liquid from the Starcourt bunker. Reference of Dustin vowing to die with Steve when they initially discovered it.
Hopper, Joyce, Mike, Will, and El had to be away from Hawkins, otherwise Vecna wouldn't have won.
An important death that they're nervous about given the reception to Eddie (not Joyce or Jonathan—see details below).
Eleven
We'll see her unlike we've seen her before. A badass who doesn't take shit from anyone. Not a Monster, not a Hero, Jane. Think: adult El could be headed for a Charles Xavier type role.
Erica, Lucas, and El will share scenes together.
El has significant blocking and development with many characters this season.
Max, Eleven & Max
The "kaleidoscope of colors" from a script the writers posted makes a feature in both the scene where young El remembers her mother's love in order to defeat Henry in the lab, as well as the scene where El revives Max. This is significant because it's the first time we see El using her powers on someone in a non-violent way.
El was able to revive Max because of she, herself, being revived in the bunker by Brenner and Co. It's a show, don't tell moment from the writers.
Max getting Vecna'd was foreshadowed in the beginning of 2x01.
Will, Henry/Vecna, The UD
Filming was supposed to commence mid-June, but Noah and Jamie were set to begin in May due to more complicated costuming. Will is going to require heavy prosthetics at some point.
Will's character design is blocked in three stages. The more the UD bleeds into Hawkins, the more connected to it he feels. The gates being open will physically influence him, especially when he's not as mentally strong.
He's kind of like "the card up Vecna's sleeve."
It appears they want to confuse the audience about Will.
Will wrestling with his own morality
Henry/Will mirrors. Will will sympathize with Henry because, unlike El, he knows how and what Henry thinks, and he can feel him.
Vecna and Will are very similar, but the difference is Will is made stronger by love not hate. They will play into that duality.
Vecna was nerfed in S4 compared to how we see him in S5. He'll be much stronger.
At the beginning, he'll be taking a hiatus while he plans how to divide and conquer now that everyone's back together in Hawkins.
Soteria will be the key to saving Will. If they want Will to be untraceable to Henry, they'll have to insert it into his neck and it'll be painful. Vecna not having access to Will fucks up his ability to leave the UD.
Byler/Mileven Triangle
Apparently, it's complicated and up in the air as of now.
Mike dealing with guilt this season. He feels guilty/responsibility for El. He feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.
Will and Mike to spend a good chunk of the season together based on character designs and blocking.
Will telling El that Mike won't like being lied to comes back with the painting. During a pre-time jump scene in 5x01, while everyone's together plotting how to defeat Vecna and brainstorming how to save Max, Mike brings up the painting El commissioned for a D&D analogy. Will has to pull Mike aside and confess he lied about El commissioning the painting. Mike gets angry, because he doesn't know about Will's feelings and feels embarrassed that Will thought he was that pathetic he needed to be given a pep talk. Their own version of a "fight you can't come back from." Immediately after their fight, we get the time skip.
Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps. After the time jump, he and El won't be talking as much because he's keeping the details about Will's painting from her. She's gonna ask what's wrong between him and Will, and he lies/is very vague.
Joyce, Hopper, Jopper
Joyce feels immense guilt/responsible over Bob's death since she's the one that asked him to help in S2, which is why she pushed Hopper away at first.
Hopper has a secret from S1 that was never addressed, and it comes back to haunt him.
Joyce sustains an injury in S5 that is reminiscent of the way someone was injured in S3, but it isn't critical and she'll be okay.
Jopper are the most established couple after the time jump. Lots of bickering still, but Hopper trusts Joyce more than he ever has.
Jonathan, Nancy, Jancy
So far, does not seem like a breakup is happening.
Jonathan's still lying about the college letter and distant because of it, and Nancy thinks he's not as into the relationship and that there might be someone else. She confronts him, which leads to a talk. She's touched by the lengths he would go to try and protect her and any of their future children even from himself.
A moment where we're led to believe Jonathan dies but doesn't, like Hopper in S3.
Hopper-Byers Family
These five characters slowly unraveling their arcs together and have always been closely linked. Their perfect endings are together.
We see the family combining, especially in relation to El.
Joyce gets to witness Hopper being paternal and tender towards the boys.
Scenes with Joyce, Jonathan, and Will
Hopper being back lifts a weight off Jonathan's shoulders.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, now time to shine.
''(...) sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, (...)''
Okay. How did we see Nancy in S4? Confused. Confused with the love triangle between Jonathan, her and Steve. Jonathan is her actual boyfriend. And Steve is her posible love interest again.
So, putting this in byler language: Nancy = Mike Jonathan = Eleven Will = Steve
If Mike's and Nancy's character's clothing is important at this point of the time line and that means they feel similar feelings, this could mean that byler has a chance. BUT then we read this: ''(...) He (Mike) feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.'' And
''Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps.''
THIS LITERALLY MEANS BYLER. FOR REAL. Like byler could be endgame. Also, remember Eleven's injury in S3? Do you remember the leak of a shoe covered in blood?
Tumblr media
It's Joyce. ALSO YOU CAN READ THAT WE'LL HAVE SCENES BEFORE THE TIME JUMP. And here it comes. Look at this freaking hair:
Tumblr media
Does this look more like this
Tumblr media
or this?
Tumblr media
The season 4 bowl cut right? So maybe this is right in some part? I dont know. But that could make sense why Will is wearing Mike's pants, because his clothes were in California by that moment. But i really do think that the pic that was leaked a few days ago is before the time jump.
Im so late with this info haha :) but i kinda think some things here make sense. Even if this is too well explained to be a leak.

I didnt love S3 but Steve peaked there. Robin became the final puzzle piece he needed to complete his development - thanks to the actors because the duffers clearly didn't know what to do with him. Steve spent the last three seasons chasing after a girl who would never be his soulmate, and when he accepted that, he tried to find someone else to love instead. He tried flirting with any girl whose attention he could hold for over 60 seconds, except for Robin - setting her apart already, though for the wrong reasons initially. She was originally meant to be Nancy's replacement as Steve's arm candy, it seems, but making her a lesbian at the last moment is really what saves S3 for me, not only because she's my baby, my favorite character and I adore her with my whole heart, but also because... the improvised straightbait turned out to work incredibly well at the time to cement the conclusion of Steve's arc - he was a piece of shit and lost Nancy to someone who was better for her (say what you want about Jonathan, but that's clearly the idea the writers had with him, regardless of the effectiveness of the execution). Steve couldn't get Nancy back, and really, he shouldn't be focusing on romance at all because that's just not what he needs to grow as a person. The people who truly challenge him, push him to be better and motivate him to grow are his platonic bonds - Dustin and Robin. He couldn't "fix" everything with Nancy (meaning that he couldn't go back to before everything changed, as if he hadn't messed up). Nancy may appreciate the change but she won't go back to him. Steve doesn't need to change for love - he needs to change for himself, in order to be a better person, period. And Nancy has no reason to stay and watch him grow, she has her own matters to attend to, and she doesn't have enough space in her life for Steve. So Steve finds new people, somewhere else, away from Nancy, and he grows thanks to them.
Robin being not only just his friend but also being completely and eternally unavailable to him works perfectly here. The audience believed, alongside Steve (and the Duffers lmfao) that what Steve needed was romantic love, but Robin proves him wrong. He gets over his ex-girlfriend and finds a sister instead.
And then Season 4 ruins that, for no reason and to no one's benefit. Steve regresses. The growth is undone, for the purpose of keeping Nancy in that eternal love triangle loop that seemed to have been solved two seasons ago. It's sad and disappointing and I'm hoping they don't revisit that in S5.
What I would've done instead would've been to let Steve finish his arc in S3. S4 Steve has a flat arc now. He learned all he had to learn. He's fine. Now, he's here to teach others what he's learned, and I think it would be very interesting if the person who learned from him the most turned out to be Nancy. Steve basically just discovered the power of friendship, and deep emotional connections and trust and how closeness to others makes you stronger. Gives you a purpose. He learned to love and care for others and now that's his strength. Have him tell her about how much he cares about Robin and Dustin. Show him bonding more with Lucas and Max. Contrast him with Nancy, who is isolated, who just lost another friend after leaving him alone, and is desperately trying to protect Max from Vecna. Maybe she's hesitant to become friends with Robin, or to rely on her and Steve to share the burden, or trust the kids to take care of themselves on some capacity. Nancy has become more and more isolated as Steve grows closee to other people.
Then Steve sacrifices himself in S5 to save either Robin or Dustin or both of them idk I think that would be the best conclusion to his arc. Passing on the torch to one of them. Maybe Robin becomes the new babysitter and protector. Maybe Dustin becomes the new hot boy at Hawkins High idk but I think an ending of this sort would fit. He doesn't even need to actually die, if he somehow survives it still works, just having a sacrifice scene (not played for laughs) would be a perfect way to conclude his growth and move on to inspire others to grow like others have done for him.

they would never do it but imagine if the duffers pulled one on us & s5 starts w the final battle (eddie is alive obviously) & that's over in like 10 min & the rest of the episodes in the season is just everyone hanging out & processing their trauma together & also there's a timeskip of the kids going to college etc. anyway, putting on the clown makeup as we speak 🤡
listen that is THE DREAM skfjgdlkf i would actually literally genuinely LOVE to sit and watch like a whole entire season of everyone just chilling and hanging out and getting to finally RELAX skgjjk
give us eddie recovering from his bat bites, bedridden and complaining about it, but steve's there keeping him company and making sure he's listening to the doctor's orders and motherhenning the way he always does (even though HE'S recovering too and should ALSO be taking it easy), the two of them growing their friendship (and watering the seeds of something more that have been planted since the start).
give us nancy and robin opening college acceptance letters and finding out they got into the same schools and getting excited about the prospect of rooming together.
give us jonathan finally not having to worry about keeping his family afloat, and finally doing something for himself by applying to nyu because that's been his dream since he was six years old.
give us everyone sitting around max's hospital bed, and the pure relief and utter joy joy that washes over everyone when she does finally wake up.
gives us max and lucas going on that movie date!!
give us joyce and hopper finally getting to go to enzo's!!
give us will finally getting to be happy (whether that means by just not having to hide who he is from his friends anymore, or whether that means him getting the boy, finally, or whether that means he just gets to relax too and not worry about slugs and mindflayers and demo-anythings)
give us el finally getting to just be a kid, without having to shoulder the weight of the entire world.
give us dustin and erica taking over hellfire as co-leaders because eddie graduated and decided it was time to pass the torch, officially (even though he absolutely still puts together and dm's campaigns for them all to play together, gathered in the wheeler's basement)
give us EVERYONE getting some THERAPY 👏👏👏 (it would, obviously, have to be through some Government Mandated Therapist that has special clearance to even KNOW about all the upside down bullshit, but YEAH let them TALK about it, let them WORK TRHOUGH their trauma, let them finally FEEL SAFE)
i would honest to god KILL for this.
but since we all know none of this will happen in the show, let me just say, thank god for fic writers, we truly owe them everything for giving us these scenes we so desperately wish to see 👏

i'm not a scientist so idk what Actual Science there is behind this concept to back up my feelings, but i highly doubt we'll have an actual time loop plot / Serious Time Travel in s5. i just don't see how it would make sense in the lore they've established thus far.
time stopped in the upside down and it didn't affect the rightside up, so what good would will manipulating time again do? the rightside up kept aging and everything has already happened. if whatever happened in the upside down timeline could affect the rightside up, we would've already seen it happen, no?
vecna is associated with clocks, yes, but is he as obsessed with time itself as some people think him to be? when you consider his statements as a whole, it seems that his problem lies mostly in society's imposition on natural structures; or, the rat race and the checklist we're all expected to tick off as we go throughout life; aka, forced conformity. his beef is with societal pressures and how they alienate those who don't wish to abide by society's arbitrary rules.
he wants out of the rat race. he wants to feel in control of his life. he wants to be freed of the constraints of time and the milestones society expects you to have achieved by whatever age. he wants to be allowed to be different, as he naturally is, and not punished, shamed, or alienated for it; or, as he later is, used / weaponized for it.
that's why he talks so much about purity and how humanity spoils things. that's why he targets those who are "other". that's why he wants to burn everything down and "reshape the world into something beautiful".
he literally says these things. overall, his entire shtick is that he opposes conformity and believes his otherness is what makes him superior. as such, he wants to tear society down and rebuild it. this world cast him out and so he wants to reshape it into one where he has a place that isn't beneath someone's boot.
he taunts his victims with a grandfather clock, because he first manifested his powers by stopping one of its hands. it's also an unsettling psychological warfare tactic: he's telling his victims that their time is running out and he's coming for them; they can't stop it, because time waits for no one.
he talks at length about destroying what already is to build something new. the only two people that he wanted, and potentially still wants as could be the case with the latter, by his side in these endeavors were eleven and will--two characters that are inherently different from their peers and whose plots in this show have almost always centered around their otherness. eleven was the one super-powered girl who has had to fight monsters and save them time and time again, often at the expense of learning what it means to be a person and what it means to be herself. will had traumatic experiences inflicted upon him by vecna, but even before that we are made aware that will was treated differently due to his sexuality. they are the only two that vecna has ever identified with and deemed worthy of living in his new world.
this show has always been about embracing your otherness. right now, it seems we're dealing with a villain who has taken this to the extreme and has let his experiences turn him into a monster; aka, "evil is a relay sport when the one who's burnt turns to pass the torch". reducing his character, that is to say his ambitions and overreaching part in this grand story, to someone that wants to stop time and can be stopped by just going back and erasing everything feels... inconsiderate to the story as a whole, as well as the efforts that have been made to explore trauma and how it affects us all.
the point isn't that we can just go back and undo what went wrong and be swell again. that doesn't align with the heart of stranger things. the point is, and always has been, that you are more than the awful things that have happened to you; that you can always learn and grow from your pain; that there is a way out of the cave and it'll be worth it once you get there.
we're not going to have a time loop, because that's cheap and reductive and solves nothing. it undoes all of the growth and learning that these characters have undergone. not only that, but we know that time being manipulated in the upside down doesn't change anything on the rightside up.
this isn't strictly or literally about time and stopping it. it's about how you can't keep people in cages and expect them to turn out fine and obey for the rest of their lives without losing their humanity in the process. it's about tearing things down and making something of the wreckage. it's about being broken and building yourself back up stronger not in spite of your broken bits but because of them. it's about how sitting in your pain and letting it consume you can either turn you into the very same monsters that caused your pain in the first place or have you feeling stuck while everyone else goes on with their lives.
vecna's life was stolen from him before it ever even began. he wants complete and total control over all life, because he's never felt in control of his own life. he wants to reshape the world, because he's never been allotted a space of his own in it. he wants to break the order of things, because his kind, those that are different, have always been forced to conform or be punished for daring to be themselves in a world that tells them they're inherently wrong. he's associated with time, because he had years of his life stolen from him when he was kept prisoner in the lab, and because he's seen the way that the rat race makes monsters of men. he hates humans, because they never once treated him like he was one, too.
we can't just pick one detail and base his character or the entire show around it. you're not seeing the bigger picture when you do that.
he's looking to create a new world from the rightside up's ruins and there's only one character on this show that we've seen do that.
vecna is all about darkness, destruction, and despair.
will is all about light, life, and hope.
stop hyper-focusing on time.

I'm gonna write a fic about this at some point (once I get over this Writers block lol) but I am OBSESSED with the idea of Lucas being the one to kinda.. take up Steve's mantle of protector.
Like he fights Jason and gets his ass kicked for a little bit (he already has a better track record than steve). Jason even smashes a vase over his head (like Billy smashed the plate over Steve's) and his eye is swollen (like Steve's always is) and he just wants to keep Max safe and protect her and there's no doubt in my mind he'd do the same for any of his friends.
I already wrote the fic making the comparison of Steve fighting Billy vs Lucas fight Jason, in the sense of Lucas fighting like Steve does. And again, I'm obsessed with the idea that ever since Steve threw himself into harms way for Lucas, trying so hard to protect him, Lucas has admired him and kinda aspired to be that protector.
And I can't remember which fic I read it in but I also LOVE the imagery of Steve giving Lucas the bat as a passing of the torch thing. I don't have high hopes for Steve's survival in S5 so it would make sense.
All of this would probably make more sense if they built up Steve's relationship with the kids beyond just Dustin. Similarly, I wish they would have built up Max and Steve's relationship before she gave him a letter (as he's the only older kid to recieve one).
Complaints with S4 aside, I just think it would really make sense for Lucas to try and be the hero younger him probably thought Steve was. I can 100% see Lucas being a self sacrificial nightmare just like Steve. He's even got the jock thing going on!!!
Maybe I'm being delusional but moral of the story is: I love them.

For The Top 5 Ask Game: I’ve got three for you:
Your Top Five Storylines You Wish Cobra Kai Will Do In The Series Going Forward!
Your Top Five TV Shows You Want To Watch, But Haven’t As Of Yet
And Your Top Five MCU Characters
Cobra Kai Storylines
I’d be happy to see any and all of these, but I do have a definitive ranking, surprisingly 😂:
1. There’s my S4 theory that Robby and Tory know something’s off with Kreese and Silver and are trying to take down CK from the inside. Aisha links them up with Sam and Miguel, because they hear about the new weapons rule for the AVT and know they need to shut it down. Since this probably won’t happen in S4, they could make CK win the AVT and rework the spies plotline for S5!
2. I want the parallels between Hawk and Johnny to be explored. I want Johnny to realize that he’s let Hawk down, that maybe his behavior towards Hawk is rooted in some issues he has with himself...and I want Johnny to do better for Hawk. And to acknowledge the harm he’s caused–because guess what, Johnny? Your actions don’t exist in a vacuum, and neither do Kreese’s. Kreese tried to recruit Hawk and Miguel (and Robby!). Guess which one it didn’t work on? Hint: the one you actually tried with 💀
(Disclaimer: I don’t actually hate Johnny. I just want some accountability for the stuff he did in the movies and in the show).
3. Robby and Johnny reconciliation done right! Maybe not exactly like this amazing fic by @emletish-fish (the stuff with faeries seems too outlandish for these writers)...but the depth!! The characterization!! The way Robby’s adults are trying for him, truly and honestly!! And Robby gets to be upset and express his feelings and he’s valid!!
4. Sam, Tory, Aisha, Miguel, and Robby all becoming friends! They don’t all go to the same college, but Sam and Aisha do, and Miguel and Robby get into a different college together. Tory visits though!
5. I want Sam and Robby to face off in the final fight, for Sam to trust him not to hurt her...and then for Silver to goad Robby into breaking Sam’s knee 😭 and Daniel...oh, Daniel. He can’t handle it.
Watchlist Shows
1. Daredevil, a must after NWH and Hawkeye 😂
2. Agents of Shield! I’ve watched the first couple episodes but then life got in the way. Hoping to pick it back up though!
3. Leverage, because @blackaquokat sings its praises and it has antihero/morally-gray stuff going on!
4. Jessica Jones, mostly because I’ve heard a lot of great things and wanna watch it!
5. Manifest, especially since it’s getting another season!
Honorable Mention for Irregulars. It’s tentatively on this list...but I have a question. I heard it got cancelled, did it end on a cliffhanger?
MCU Characters
1. Peter Parker! Maybe it’s the NWH talking but just...AHHH HE WAS SO GOOD IN THAT MOVIE! Spidey’s always been my favorite hero, and the end of FFH started to sorta sell me on him...but THIS MOVIE KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK OMG (PS4 Spidey tho...always my favorite Spidey 💞)
2. Yelena Belova! She’s such a fascinating antihero character who is incredibly likeable and sweet 💞 but also incredibly fiercely loving! And she’s canonically aroace in the comics...and hopefully in the MCU too! 🤞
3. Kate Bishop, because she’s around my age and I respect her initiative and drive and I just love the whole vibe she has going
4. Tony Stark, because the theme of actively working against the bloody legacy he built is a compelling tale for sure! There are definitely things I don’t like about him, but honestly, his arc as a whole picture is amazing! And yes, I too wish he’d lived to raise Morgan and start his family. But...his death did serve a narrative purpose. He started the MCU off, he put it on the map and made people care about superheroes they might not have cared about. Him dying passes on that torch to a new group of Avengers–the New Avengers, if you will. Like Pepper said, he’d never truly be able to rest, not like the other Avengers–this is the closest he’d ever get to retiring for good. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t break my heart tho 😭
5. I really like MJ tbh? Like...just in general, her character in FFH and NWH (didn’t like her so much in Homecoming, but she was okay) was fantastic 🥰 tho I’ll admit, part of why I love her so much is likely due to @seek--rest (if you haven’t read their amazing fics, what are you even doing??)
Ask me my top 5 anything!

what are some of your favorite one-shots (angsty, fluffy, whatever you guys want)
Hi! :) Be sure to check out our favorites tag for all of our faves -- one shots and multi chapters. But here are a few of our favorite one shots below. Some of them are a bit longer, so pay attention to the word counter if you're up for a quick read :)
Breaking and Entering Lip plans a simple job and recruits Ian's help. When it inevitably goes wrong, Ian hides out in someone's apartment.
Minutes Set around or post S5. Just the boys being in love.
Southside Scumbags In 3x03, Ian didn’t come home for dinner after Mickey beat the crap out of Ned. So what the heck did Ian and Mickey do all day?
life of the party In which Ian and Mickey are domestic bitches, and deal with some of Ian's memories of those lost months working in the clubs.
eighty-four Time travel AU. “I slept with Mickey Milkovich last night,” Ian whispers. “So?” “So—” Ian stares at his phone for a second. “I slept with Mandy’s fucking brother.” “Ian, what do you want me to say? Congratulations? You’ve been dating Mickey for almost a year.”
The Needle And The Burning Body Mickey had two burning torches for hands but he knew what to do with them. Ian's head was on fire and all he knew was how to run and keep running. How to find a cliff and jump off. How to make Mickey chase after him, again and again. And in a cold cell in prison, Mickey catches him.
there is always, and in it, us In which there are an infinite number of universes, and Ian and Mickey collide in all of them.
Eighteen Mickey never had A Master Plan. His only plan in the last decade has been Find Ian. Instead, he's basically raised a kid, accidentally started a slow burning revolution, and failed everyone he actually cares about.
Staccato Heartbeat There's a boy sleeping in bed beside you, and you can still feel his nails digging into your back, his lips whispering across your collarbone, the steady rhythm of your bodies moving together. You can still hear him hissing in your ear: "This doesn't mean a thing, it doesn't matter." And you ache with how much it matters to you.
Reward Mickey is living his happy ending. It’s unsettling. And there are so many Gallaghers. Just so, so many.
Summer Shandy S2 fill-in. [...] The sun beat down relentlessly, setting over the rooftops in the distance and shining on them like a beacon. Ian was so high he could practically feel his own skin. He breathed out. “I think this is the happiest I’ll ever be.”
amas veritas A reimagining of S1-5, in a world where the mysterious Milkovich matriarch was a modern middle-of-the-city witch who passed the tricks of the trade in to her two youngest children.
thaw. A few months after 5x12, Ian asks Mickey to meet him.
Make Your Move on Me 4x08 fill-in.
the spaces between my fingers Lip and Amanda have a dinner at the Gallagher house. Amanda learns about Ian and Mickey.
The way you slam your body into mine reminds me I’m alive Set in S5. Mickey worries about Ian too much. They talk it out, fight it out and sex it out.
It got long, cause there's three of us now ;)

I finally started s5 I'm on the 5x06 but there's a thing I don't get it why barchie kissed (I mean I think Betty's pov about the kiss will appear on future eps like she and jughead never talked about it) was bcs he didn't feel enough for V or bcs he was on a bad moment of his life? I didn't get it
why b*rchie kissed in s4, you mean? i think you do.
well, there’s the short version of why they kissed and the long one.
short-version: it was a plot-device for drama. they wanted to break the main couples up and took the sloppiest, most ooc, stupidest way for that to happen. then, with the pandemic and all, they kind of backtracked on how much impact that kiss would have, and here we are. it’s never going to be brought up by archie again. he’ll never have to explain himself. veronica doesn’t care anymore. the show does not want to give it any importance.
long-version: the way canon put it, archie had a hell of an year with his dad dying, he wasn’t going to graduate, and he was feeling lost and uncertain about his future, in a lot of pain every time. jughead almost died and that triggered all those feelings again. and then, for a moment there, after having a fight with veronica, he felt like being with betty, his childhood friend, his oldest friend, who’s someone he met before all the mess in his life happened, betty who could be “carrying the torch” still, was the answer to those feelings of pain and uncertainty.
his actions - the kiss and the emotional tryst afterwards - were self-destructive and influenced by everything that he had been going through the entire year. he’d been lost, and veronica was surely going to places he wouldn’t be able to follow, he felt like he was holding her back. it was not lack of love for veronica, it was lack of love for himself. so much that after he makes peace with all that pain, that “passes” (5x02), he wants to be with veronica again, but it’s already too late for them - she already decided they were going on separate ways. and in the end, he knew it had to happen, that they couldn’t stay together if he wanted to heal and if he wanted her to thrive.
but he never stopped loving her, and whatever those feelings were in high school, they didn’t matter anymore after seven years - veronica was still the one in his heart and being with betty physically didn’t change that.
i hope this helps you understand. it’s hard, because while betty’’s pov was really clear on 4x18 (”we feel safe with each other but i love jughead”), archie’s pov was explained slowly, from 5x01-5x03, and then throughout the time jump episodes too. but the conclusion is the same. it’s always been veronica, no matter what happened in the past.
oh, please, next time censor b*rchie so they don't find me lol

A Brief Summary of More Seasons of “Timeless” (Inevitably Leading Up to Gladiator!Flynn)
Hey @ununpredictableme, here’s that thing I promised to show you! :D (Again with a delay, but better late than never, right? /o\ )
The thing about time travel was, it was just too damn tempting for its own good. The whole “doubling back over your own lifetime will kill you” thing was an effective deterrent to whims like “that date was a disaster, let’s go give my past self some tips to improve the experience” and “we’re going to try this specific evil plan over and over until it succeeds, dammit!”, but as it turned out, that still left plenty of bigger ambitions.
First, of course, there was Rittenhouse and its covert world domination schemes: the very reason time travel managed to be invented in the first place. Briefly interrupted by Garcia Flynn’s roaring rampage of burning Rittenhouse to the ground and/or saving the wife and daughter they’d murdered. (Preferably both at the same time, but when push came to shove he would’ve settled for going down in a blaze of martyrdom, survivor’s guilt soothed by the knowledge that he’d at least tried.)
/S1; Flynn
Then back to Rittenhouse, their plans by that point out of the development phase and being implemented by a visionary with more flair and philosophy than common sense, but plenty of dangerous ideas either way. Though it didn’t take long for Rittenhouse’s deplorable recruitment practices to come back and bite them in the ass, resulting in a coup by one of its lowest-esteemed members.
/S2; Rittenhouse
Emma Whitmore, driven by nothing but a bitter desire to thrive over the backs of anyone who had ever harmed or held her back with even so much as their mere existence, but no longer knowing what thriving meant after the decades of pressure and manipulation and isolation Rittenhouse had subjected her to, turned the time machine into her personal pirate ship. She looted and pillaged her way through history, taking treasures and torching everything that pissed her off. And there wasn’t much that didn’t piss her off. If Flynn’s strategy had been to blow up especially fishy-smelling rocks and see what Rittenhouse filth came scurrying out from underneath, and Nicholas Keynes’ had been to repaint history in his own image in intricate and meticulously crafted brush strokes, Emma’s was to punish those in history who disadvantaged her and twist the arms of those who could elevate her in the cruelest ways she could think of. It was no wonder Jessica Logan had turned on her, in the end. It had only been a matter of time before Emma would have turned on her – and her baby.
/S3; Emma
For a short while, they thought Jessica’s change of heart was the end of it; Rittenhouse was in ruins, Emma dead, and Flynn mostly well-behaved as part of the Lifeboat crew. The antagonist bench was empty, the heroes no longer constantly preoccupied with defending themselves. The team finally had the time and opportunity to piece their timetravel-mangled lives and families back together. Lucy un-erased Amy, and their parents along with her; Flynn found a way to save Iris and Lorena without erasing all the victories their deaths had led to. Wyatt and Jessica took the Lifeboat to the 1400’s to raise their little family and clear their heads for a while. That while turned into forever. In the end, instead of disposing of the Lifeboat somewhere no modern villain would ever find it, as the initial plan had been, their grandson returned the ship to the 21st century, to a date mere weeks from the day they’d departed from. Sherwin was a bright, eager young man with Jessica’s eyes, Wyatt’s smile, an insatiable desire to see everything the past and future had to show him – and his best friend, Willard, in tow... who proved startlingly quick to be corrupted by the power of time travel.
Willard stole the ApocaLifeboat (thanks, Lucy Croft and Bearded Wyatt, that autopilot was just what they’d needed to make time travel even more of a crapshoot) and jumped from time period to time period, looking for a place and moment where he could install himself as the next best coming since Jesus, and revealing future technology and knowledge everywhere he went. He altered history with reckless abandon and relocated dozens upon dozens of bamboozled followers to eras they had no business being in.
While the team struggled to deal with Willard, Sherwin got attached to the 21th century, Lucy figured out how to deal with her restored family now that she’d uncovered the sordid truth of their ancestry, and Flynn wrestled with the self-hatred and guilt that threatened to tear his own newly-reunited family apart. And after the team returned from a jump with a damaged ship to a timeline where Connor was dead of a disease that didn’t exist before they left, taking his vital expertise and resources to the grave with him, Jiya and Rufus had to A: figure out how to undo his death, and B: develop a way to keep anybody else they cared about but who couldn’t come on a jump from being lost or critically changed by random divergences to their personal history, poofing out of existence because of family tree disruptions like Amy, or being hijacked by the enemy like Jessica. Objective A was accomplished with another jump, and objective B with what Rufus, who had the crucial eureka moment, got to dub the Wellsaday Cage (a portmanteau of Faraday Cage and H.G. Wells, the author of the first ever time machine story). The Cage ensured that everybody inside it shared in the temporal bubble that made it so the team didn’t get swept up by the effects of their actions while they were on a jump and always came back to the altered present as their old selves. BOOM. So many problems and four-dimensional puzzle induced-headaches solved.
/S4; Willard from the 14th Century
No sooner did the team stop Willard and start bickering among themselves about how – if at all – to fix the mess he’d made of history, than the remnants of Rittenhouse (their cult annoyingly unscathed by what Willard’s had wrought) reared its ugly head again. The remaining followers, a motley bunch who had rearranged the once unassailable hierarchy with blood and backstabbing in the wake of the purge of all Rittenhouse’s biggest and most actually influential figures, fought with a zeal only found in true believers who had seen their cult’s long-awaited judgement day pass by without so much as a lightning strike and doubled down on their faith regardless. Nothing the Time Team did could stop them – until finally, after an inexplicable delay of four seasons, they returned to David Rittenhouse and smothered the entire organization in the bud by killing him before he could start spreading his ideology in the first place.
/S5; Rittenhouse Redux
Preventing the birth of the Rittenhouse cult altered the history of the USA beyond recognition and, since it was Rittenhouse’s relentless urging and unlimited funds that made time travel possible, erased everything that had occurred because of it in the previous seasons. The team made a number of jumps to win some lotteries and make some jackpot investments to help themselves and the loved ones they’d saved with the Wellsaday Cage start over, and everybody set themselves to the task of adjusting to their new reality and dealing with the scars left by erased timelines only they now remembered.
Then time-travelers from centuries into the future started showed up. The team hadn’t had to wonder who the good guys and the bad guys were or what side they should be on since they cottoned on to the truth of what Flynn kept saying in S1. Now they were left questioning everything again. Who were these people from the future? What did they want, and could they be trusted to tell the truth about that? When they started contradicting each other and the cracks in their initially united front started to show, who could the team believe? And what would happen when the team fractured along long-dormant fault lines of trust (among themselves, and toward the future travelers) and philosophical disagreements over what time travel should or shouldn’t be used for and allowed to cause??
Much tension, very suspense. Wow. They figured it out eventually, though. And hey, guess what? Flynn’s inexplicable inability to come up with a sensible Plan B to kill David Rittenhouse all the way back in S1 wasn’t so inexplicable after all! Turns out it was a remote intervention by a distant-future scumbag – let’s call him Gabmucs – who read about the dude’s many different deaths in a history book about the Time War Era and the development of the tech that would come to shield The Future He Comes From from being affected by all that temporal chaos from the past. (Based on Jiya & Rufus’s Wellsaday Cage, but applied to the whole solar system past a certain point in time.)
Gabmucs thought all those ideas about oppression and suppression and world domination sounded right up his alley, and set up some kind of outcome enforcer tech (derivative from the Temporal Shield just like the Temporal Shield was a derivative of the Wellsaday Cage) around David R’s life to ensure only one specific fate from the many timelines centered around him would come to pass, and so his ideas would come to fruition no matter what. When the team first discovered David’s existence, Gabmucs’s technology had detected Flynn’s intentions and befuddled his senses until he just couldn’t think straight enough to kill the guy anymore. The eventual failure of this tech was what prompted Gabmucs to manipulate a team from his own time to go back and help him intervene in person. And while he was there, he might as well take some crucial steps toward disabling the Temporal Shield, so he could go home afterwards to a world steeped in glorious Rittenhouse-flavored evil tailor-made to his tastes.
He just wasn’t very honest to most of his team about the motives or objectives of their mission, and they didn’t take kindly to finding out the truth. Especially when one of them (let’s call her... uh... Niwrehs? /o\ I hate character names almost as much as fic titles) had fallen in love with Sherwin. (In the end, Niwhrehs stayed in the 21st century. And my wish of having both a distant past and a far future member on the team was fulfilled! Also, this season definitely has the modern team visiting the future AT LEAST once!!)
/S6; The Future
And just when they thought that was finally the end of it, Stanley Fisher arose from his ever-worsening stupor of visions and turned out to have become a temporal eldritch demi-god. A bored temporal eldritch demigod. Having seen literally everything there ever was to see, in every timeline that had ever been, he started changing things with the biggest impact possible, purely so he could experience something truly new again. And he didn’t need a time machine to transport himself to the past.
Which is what finally brings us to antiquity, and the massive, unimaginable changes he could cause by knocking history off course that far back... AND GLADIATOR FLYNN! :D The special effects budget goes through the roof! Old Rome! Ancient Egypt! The Aztecs! Atilla the Hun! Cavemen and Medieval knights and pirates and samurai and and and... WOOLY MAMMOTHS!! Good thing the far future guys left universal translator tech behind!
Wait, wait, back up, whaaaat?? WELL, you see, because of the accident that gave him his visions, Stanley was never affected by the timeline changing the way the rest of reality around him was. Even though it seemed like he was at first. But actually, every time the timeline changed, he instead absorbed the quantum imprint of the new version of himself and all the memories, visions, viability, and temporal capability that came with it. This slowly drove him crazier and crazier with every edit to the timeline, the human brain utterly unequipped to handle so many realities crammed into one mind – until the last jump of S6. That one tipped him over a critical mass of timelines into near-omniscience, and rearranged his physical and psychic being to finally accommodate it all.
(Look, no time-travel story can be called a real time-travel story unless everything goes batshit insane at some point, okay?)
Jiya had been experiencing the same thing, just on a much, much smaller scale, since she was shielded from most of the timeline changes by either being part of the jump team or being safely ensconced inside a Wellsaday Cage. But when it became clear that the team didn’t stand a chance against Stanley, she made a desperate gamble and told her past self what happened to Stanley... and how she could replicate it in herself. Jiya expected to die when she returned from this jump, but instead of being absorbed by the new timeline’s eldritch Jiya, that Jiya made sure they remained two separate entities. Girl Jiya rejoined her team, Eldritch Jiya transcended into Demi-Goddess Jiya, and between two time machines and a walking force of quantum nature, they kicked Stanley’s ass. Demi-Goddess Jiya absorbed his temporal whatever and became full-blown Time Goddess Jiya, who then merged with the timestream itself and ensured that all the time travel fuckery was finally, FINALLY, fucking over, and this season finale would be the definitive show finale. And everybody lived happily ever after.
EVERYBODY.
Yes, even if they were erased three hundred timelines ago. Yes, even if nobody was supposed to remember them anymore; she’s god now, she can fix that. That and so much more. And she does! Because she’s nice like that. Fuck ‘fate’ and ‘destiny’, the Goddess Jiya’s in charge now, and she makes sure time travel will not continue to or ever newly hurt her friends and family again.
/S7; Temporal Eldritch Demi-God Stanley Fisher
THE END
(Sorry Paulina, your scribbles will never come to anything. Or maybe they will, but your results will be relentlessly trolled by time!Jiya.)

Jamie Johnson 5x08 Review
Tonight was one of the best, if not the best, Jamie Johnson eps so far. Dillon faced some of his toughest obstacles yet in his coming out journey and we got some sweet Delliot moments. Let’s dig in!
This British kids soccer show continues to make history. We saw some very nuanced and mature discussions between Dillon and Elliot about being gay and coming out; how often on tv do two gay kids actually discuss their sexualities?  Elliot gave Dillon some great advice and perhaps more importantly told Dillon that he was in fact brave and a winner on and off the pitch
You’d have to be daft to deny that Dillon and Elliot have crushes on each other after this ep. Seeing both Dillon and Elliot trying their best to look nice before meeting up with each other was cute and their handhold at the pitch was very sweet. Lots of soft smiles and longing glances and we even got a hug before Elliot left
Laquarn has confirmed that he’s not in any more S5 eps and doesn’t know if he’s back for the yet to be filmed S6. I can only hope he’ll come back. It would be a waste of great chemistry and an engaging character if Elliot was just meant to help Dillon with his sexuality before passing the torch to Ruby. He clearly left the door open for a future reunion when he told Dillon to call him when he was ready. Patrick confirmed in an interview today that he’ll be back for S6 and presumably Dillon will be playing for Foxborough or some other pro team. Being in a relationship would certainly be a good spur for Dillon to come out more publicly. And Elliot’s love of astronomy is a perfect set up for a date under the staahs
It’s true that the show has not really focused on ships in a big way; the most we’ve gotten was Boggy and Nancy and the low key Jack, Jamie, and Michelle triangle. But at the same time if Dillon can take Indira out and kiss Sienna then he should be able to date a boy he likes. It would be tragic if the closest Dillon gets to having a boyfriend or kissing a boy is Liam outing Dillon and claiming that Elliot was Dillon’s boyfriend and that he thought they were gonna kiss
And it’s a bit shady that Eric of all people is suddenly getting a female love interest out of nowhere. I just hope when the show eventually ends that it doesn’t turn out to be another Andi Mack where Cyrus was able to kiss a girl twice and go on dates with a girl and use the word girlfriend when none of that happened with a boy
Jamie Johnson really covered a lot tonight with Dillon. We had a very helpful run down of Dillon’s past with girls and the show carefully explains that Dillon never liked Sienna like that, he never wanted to kiss her, he never had a crush on anyone else like she thought, and he never liked Ruby as more than a friend (at least Duby shippers still have Alba and Liam for an Osborne-Simmonds ship). It wasn’t subtle but I think it was necessary to really drive home that Dillon is really gay and there’s no going back. And we got confirmation that Elliot was Dillon’s first crush, he’s obviously never beaten anyone up on this show and the way he phrases it makes clear that he’s never really thought about liking boys that way until very recently
And boy did this ep ever tackle homophobia. Graham Simmonds was seriously out of order this ep. He clearly didn’t want to believe Liam but Dillon using his aftershave already primed him to believe he was trying to impress someone, he just assumed it had been a girl. He really ran through the homophobe’s greatest hits collection: blaming Ruby’s gay parents, saying being gay was a choice, saying that being gay would end Dillon’s career, and disowning and kicking Dillon out for being gay. I suspect that quite a few of the parents watching JJ with their kids hold some of the same views or act the same way and this ep really holds up a mirror and reflects how ugly that kind of behaviour is. We also see Graham praising Dillon’s accomplishments and character right before Liam outs him which just exposes his hypocrisy even more. I do give the show credit for not shying away from Graham’s awfulness, it’s not going to be a quick change for him to suddenly accept Dillon and I’m excited to see his journey to atoning for his mistakes
Thankfully Mrs. Simmonds returned from her banishment to the shadow realm to tell Dillon she loved him and to tell him to return home. Shaun Duggan said he hoped this ep would be a lifeline for kids watching who may be living in homophobic homes (he also mentioned that CBBC rules don’t allow eps to allow on cliffhangers so he has to end an ep showing that the characters are at least physically okay)
It also challenges the audience, most of whom are probably young boys and men, as to whether they will suddenly stop liking Dillon just because he’s gay. It was a real gamble on the show’s part to have their fan favourite character and the effective second lead of the show come out as gay but it has the tremendous pay off of really making the audience question their assumptions and hopefully for some of them it will change their world views
Dillon and Elliot also discussed homophobia in sports. Dillon correctly notes that there aren’t any out players in the top professional teams. Shaun Duggan mentioned in a BBC interview that they like to bring on professional soccer players when they’re having the kids going through things but this time he wasn’t able to have anyone come on to help Dillon because there are no out players. So it falls to Jamie Johnson to basically create that reality themselves by telling Dillon’s story
Patrick Ward did a phenomenal job tonight and he really is the best of the kid actors. He’s mentioned in interviews that he did a lot of research by watching shows and movies with similar gay story lines. In particular his breakdown set to Behind Blue Eyes by the Who was very well done (and once again the show has great taste in music). And of course, Shaun Duggan did an amazing job writing this ep. He’s openly gay himself and that makes all the difference in bringing an authenticity and depth to this story line. On Andi Mack of the 5 textual gay eps only one, 3x11, was written by a gay man and not surprisingly that was the best written by far of those eps
We were 19 minutes into the ep before Jamie himself briefly showed up. And he was 5th in the credits tonight with Dillon and Elliot taking the number 1 and 2 spots. Actually this whole ep had a very small cast and only a few locations, it really helped focus this ep on Dillon. Having Dillon seek out Jamie is interesting in that they’ve been foils for each from the start. But also because it sends a message to have Jamie Johnson himself praise Dillon, it’s a way for the writers to speak directly to the audience through the title character
We’ll doubtless get some more development on Dillon’s story line in the rest of the season but they’ve done historic work so far. A lot of what we’ve seen so far: the depiction of homophobia, coming out to parents, and two gay kids discussing their sexualities has yet to happen anywhere on Disney. Hell this ep alone had more uses of the word gay than Disney has yet to have
I loved how extra the black and white boxing match cold open was. Not surprising that Dillon sees Mike as the supportive (and non homophobic) father figure he wishes Graham was
This was a big step backwards for Liam’s redemption arc tonight but at least at the end he didn’t seem to buying into his dad’s bullshit about them being the only men left in the house. Liam is by no means blameless but he’s also a victim of his dad’s emotional abuse and his pitting his sons against each other. That little meet up with Eric was interesting because they’re foils for each other in some ways and I’m curious to see what lies ahead for Liam and the U13 crew and for how Liam makes this up to Dillon
Looking Ahead:
Finally we get back to the real meat and potatoes of this show; online gaming! Looks like Mike is bored of gardening at the allotment and wants Jamie to get back into real soccer. We’ll see if Jamie makes into the online tournament
Again, not really sure why Eric suddenly needs Ayesha but we’re getting some Freddie anger over Eric choosing lasses over lads
Until next week Jamie Johnsoners

Local Cryptid Tries His Best
As previously mentioned, I read a ridiculous number of time travel TMA fics and wrote this as a result. Inspired by lots of things, but especially The Guy Next Door, by pigeonanarchy, which is an amazing fic if you like time travel, Archivist Sasha, Jon being a cryptid and trying his best, jonmartin and the original archives team. Yes, all at once, go read it. This one has s5 Jon going back to pre-canon 2014 and trying to help statement givers, especifically Erin from MAG 63, so spoilers for that, I guess? Also warning for Brazilian writing British people.
At first, Jon thought he could just… scare Erin and her brother-in-law away from the entrance into St. James’ Church underneath St. Paul’s. He was rather scary, after all. He found his way inside the church shortly before midnight (he was getting better at this breaking and entering thing), and waited for them near the spot where he thought he could sense the Dark, assuming that would be the entrance they would take.
When they arrived, Jon would just have to do the Archive thing and drive them away. Easy.
He hadn’t counted on Erin Gallagher-Nelson’s response to his voice saying “you should leave this place” being to brain him with her torch.
“Erin, what the fuck! Did you just kill a guy?” a male voice was almost screaming while Jon lied on the floor, groaning. Not his best moment.
“Well, he shouldn’t have crept up on me like that, if he didn’t want to get hit!” Mrs. Gallagher-Nelson almost screamed back, sounding… halfway between unrepentant and concerned, actually. “Hey? Hey, you alright?”
“Fine…” Jon slurred, pushing himself up and blinking. There were spots on his vision. Concussion? “Mrs. Gallagher-Nelson?” he asked, feeling someone’s hands help him sit up, but then let go again at Erin’s next words:
“I’m sorry? Do I know you?”
Jon chuckled weakly and pressed his palms to his eyes.
“No…” he answered. “But I know you, Erin…” he forced himself to look up at the short-haired woman now glaring at him. “You came here to take pictures, right?”
“Yes,” she bit back. “What about it? Do you work here? Did someone warn you about me?”
“No on both accounts,” Jon tried to stand up, but then sat back down when his vision started spinning. “But I know for a fact you’ll regret going down to St. James’ tonight, if you don’t turn back now.”
He tried to give his best Archive Look, but Erin and Luke, now standing beside her, didn’t look impressed.
“Is that supposed to be a threat?” Erin asked, sounding incredulous.
“Uh…”
“Because I don’t feel very threatened right now.”
“I mean…”
“No offense, pal, but you look like a strong wind could knock you down,” Luke added, and Jon glared a little at them both.
“This is not a joke,” he snapped. “If you go down there, I can assure you at least one of you won’t come back.”
“What? Are there murderous ghosts down there?” Erin mocked and Jon huffed at her.
“Not exactly ghosts, but definitely murderous,” he finally managed to stagger to his feet, feeling the Eye healing his concussion slowly. “Just go home, there are other places to take pictures of.”
They did not go home. Not even when Jon followed them down the entrance, almost slipping and falling from the ropes they had used in the process, which… didn’t seem to help when it came to convincing them to go home.
“If you fall and crack your head open, I refuse to be held responsible,” Erin warned while Luke placed the lightning rigs along the underground tunnel.
“Would that make you leave?” Jon asked, watching the walls a little nervously. No signs of shadows so far.
“Why would you ask…?” she sighed and shook her head, getting her equipment out. “Never mind, just stay away from the lights, we won’t take long here.”
“You really should leave, Erin,” Jon tried again. “This place isn’t safe.”
“Because of the murderous ghosts,” Erin mocked, preparing her camera as Luke finished setting up the lights.
“They aren’t ghosts.”
“Right, my bad,” she knelt down and adjusted the focus, camera pointed towards the tunnel. “Just stay put, we’ll finish this in a moment…”
This was not good. Jon watched the walls, remembering how the statement described the shadow of a person showing up in the pictures of the far wall. Were they already here? He tried to focus, to See, but the Dark was so antithetical to the Eye that it was hard to do so down here, if only he could find it…
“Luke!” Erin suddenly complained, and Jon realized she was looking at the pictures in the camera. “You’re standing in front of the lights!”
“No, I’m not!”
Jon saw her look back at her brother-in-law, look away from the far wall, and right there, standing in front of it, he saw it.
“Step back,” Jon said, and he was suddenly standing between Erin and the shadow on the wall. “Stay away from them.”
He could see the shadow better the longer he focused on it, and it looked like a person, but in a few moments it wouldn’t be.
“What are you doing?” Erin asked, sounding annoyed. “I said to stay away…”
“Hey, Erin…”
“I said to step back,” Jon blinked and there were two shadows, so he didn’t blink again. “I see you,” he warned.
The lights were flickering. Jon could feel the Dark creeping closer, trying to hide their creatures from his view, and it made him glare at it, furious that these things would try and challenge him.
“Hey, I don’t know what your deal is, but we have work to do here, just get out of the…”
The shadows were wavering. Turning less human-shaped. Turning into something monstrous. Jon glared and opened his eyes wider.
All of them.
“I See You,” he spoke in the static-filled voice of the Archive, and there were gasps of fear behind him, but the shadows were trembling, growling and snapping teeth towards him. “Leave them, or not even the Dark will protect you from me.”
They hissed and growled and the lights flickered and then. Went out.
The moment they did, Jon felt the sharp pain of something piercing his stomach. He cried out and then forced himself to bite down the sound. He wouldn’t give the Dark the satisfaction. There were frantic sounds of fear behind him and then a camera flash, bright and blinding, but still a source of light.
He glared at the shadows again, snarling and calling the Ceaseless Watcher's gaze upon them.
“I See You!" he said one last time, and it was finally enough.
The lights flickered back on with the shadows' retreat and Jon staggered in place with a gasp.
“Oh, my god, you’re bleeding!”
“What the fuck, what the fuck…!”
Jon covered the wound on his stomach with a hand and turned around, stumbling a little. He looked at Erin Gallagher-Nelson and Luke Nelson, feeling exhausted.
“We really should leave now,” he managed to tell them.
“Fuck!” Erin hurriedly put the camera back in her bag and Luke, for some reason, stepped forward and put Jon’s arm over his shoulders. What? “Come on, Luke, just bring him here, we can… we can use the ropes and… and...”
“What are you doing…?” Jon muttered as he was half-dragged, half-carried to the spot where the ropes still dangled from above.
“Just keep putting pressure on the wound or something,” Luke babbled at him as they walked, and Jon kept some eyes open to watch their back just in case, and he knew Luke could see them, he knew he was afraid, but he was still helping him. “Come on, come on, Erin, call an ambulance when you have signal!”
“Yeah, I know!”
“I can’t go to the hospital,” Jon mumbled. Wow, he felt light-headed. His hand was pressed on the wound and it felt sticky with blood. Gross.
“Well, I can’t have you bleed to death right in front of me, so shut up and deal with it!” Erin snapped, untangling the ropes and waving the two of them closer at the same time. “Bring him here, Luke, don’t you stop putting pressure on that, you creep!”
“I don’t understand what’s happening,” Jon muttered as they started tying him up with the rope, for some reason.
“Just keep pressing that, pal, you’re gonna be alright, yeah?”
“Help me out here, Luke!”
Jon may have passed out for a moment when they started using the ropes to pull him up from the tunnel. In his defense, being stabbed really hurt. He didn’t remember it hurting this much the last time it had happened. Or maybe it was that this wound in particular hurt a lot? Either way, he came back to his senses lying on the floor of St. Paul’s Church with Erin and Luke arguing as they knelt above him, and, oh, no, she was using her phone…
“Please, don’t call an ambulance,” Jon groaned, pushing himself up. The wound was healing, but… very slowly, he thought. Probably because he had used Beholding to deal with the shadows and didn't have enough in him to take care of it. He was still bleeding a lot, although Luke had apparently been putting pressure on it with a jacket.
“What are you doing?” Erin snapped at him, her voice shaking with something that could be anger or fear. Probably both. “Lie back down, do you want to bleed out?”
“Not particularly,” Jon muttered. “But I still can’t go to a hospital. So.”
“We won’t tell anyone about the… the eyes, if that’s the problem,” Luke whispered, his own eyes wide with terror. “You can hide them, can’t you? So just… just…”
Jon looked at him and he flinched. That made him sigh. He really was going to bleed out if he didn’t do anything. Actually. He tried to check on the wound, which made Erin snap at him again to stay put, and it was bleeding a lot, and fast.
“I don’t think I’ll last until the ambulance arrives,” Jon mused, still feeling a little dizzy.
“Well, you won’t if you don’t stop moving…!”
“I really didn’t want to do this, this time…” he mumbled, shoulders sagging. “But…” Jon raised his eyes to them, remorseful. “I’m really sorry, but, please, tell me what you saw in the tunnels.”
He heard the click of a recorder running someehere. Luke was the one who started talking, but Erin picked it up, and soon enough, Jon was lost in the familiar rhythm of a statement. Yes, he had heard this one before, but it was different enough now, and it was… it was still fresh. He breathed in when it was done and let out a quiet sigh that was undeniably satisfied. Then he looked at the two wide-eyed victims in front of him and whispered:
“Thank you,” he gently removed Luke’s hand from his stomach and then the jacket, checking the wound. It was halfway to healed now. “Yes, that’ll do.”
“What happened?” Erin asked quietly, still watching him. Jon sighed and pushed himself to his feet. “Wait, you were… you were just…”
“I’m really sorry,” Jon said again. “I wouldn’t have done this if I had any other choice,” he paused, trying to decide what was the appropriate response. “You should avoid tunnels for a while. Or caves, or… dark places, really. Stock up on torches, and batteries, and stay away from, well, from churches too, probably. Hm.”
“Will they come after us again?” Luke whispered and Jon winced.
“There’s a chance,” he admitted. “I never figured out how to counter it, but…” he frowned. “Actually, maybe you should just leave this church as soon as possible? I don’t think it’s safe here…”
“What?” Erin was starting to glare at him again.
“Well, they stole your camera last time…” Jon muttered and then took a step back at Erin’s look of indignation. “Just avoid churches in general, just in case? Don’t forget the torches… um…” he decided it was time to leave. “And… and I’m really sorry, again,” he said one last time, retreating a few more steps.
“Hey, wait a second…”
“Sorry! I’m really sorry, I have to go…”
He almost ran out of the church, ignoring the two of them calling out behind him.
That. That could have gone better.
Also, being stabbed really hurt.

Hello and welcome to the next episode of the Clowneries! Today we will focus on the role of the coloc in s5 and on the future of Eliott and Lucas. Since instagram users srodulv and lucallemant couldn’t chill for one more day and already spoiled our clowning yesterday smh at least they already confirmed two of three theories for today:
1. Lucas moves in with Eliott and Arthur takes his room in the flatshare
2. Eliott works in a video rental shop
3. Lucas becomes Arthur’s guru
1. Lucas moving out and Arhtur moving in
If you’ve read our theory that the principal is Arthur’s father, you already know that his home situation is not peachy. The next theory was inspired by the bts photos from night shoot on 31.10/01.11:
first of all we have skamfrance.live’s story from the end of filming of a very tired Robin:
Tumblr media
and his post with Alienor and Edouard which means they were most likely on set as well that day:
Tumblr media
finally, we have David’s post
Tumblr media
Yesterday evening was without doubt one of the most strong and incredible night shoots of all 6 seasons combined. And in this kind of night, when the narrative stakes are so high, every single detail matters. The organization, including the plans of the day before to catch up on, the energy of everyone halfway through the filming, the ability of our electro / machino team to install an incredible structure at 4 am as the faculty of our camera team tries to install a camera + large optics in a box not necessarily made for that.
So what we know is this: night shoot was incredible, Robin was on set and most likely Alienor and Edouard were as well. Those three things combined gave me chills as my brain cell provided me with this theory:
Tumblr media
Other circles/parallels that were already in the show: (1) in 1x06 Emma says to Lucas “you’re a good person” and then Lucas says it to Imane in 4x08; (2) in 2x13 Manon says to Lucas “you’re not alone”, then obviously he passes it on to Eliott in 3x09, then in 4x10 Imane says “someone who will understand you and makes you feel like you will never be alone.” (on the sidenote if anyone talented wants to gif those, then please do, i’ve been waiting for this for ages ajsksjd)
So if my theory is right, we would get another two parallels to the circle: (1) another person in the flatshare who needs help because they’re struggling (Manon -> Lucas -> Arthur) making the room in the coloc a Safe Place which is quite poetic if you ask me and (2) Imane telling Lucas (and Eliott) in 4x10 “it’s time for you to get your room back” and Elu moving in together.
Now almost two weeks after I came up with this, Axel leaks a story from the filming that basically confirms that Elu are living together in a new appartment now. Obviously at that time we could assume that they’re hanging out at Basile’s or Arthur’s or Yann’s BUT there were too many things that suggested it’s Elu’s place like (1) the matching polka dot robe and pyjama pants, (2) blue walls (they scream Lucas), (3) drawings on the walls (Eliott). Also twitter user @indriee27 spotted that the art on the wall seems to be the same Maxence once posted on his instagram (it’s no longer there now):
Tumblr media
Conclusion: those sappy bastards moved in together and honestly? love that for them :’) (they even have a fireplace!!!)
Either way, the story makes me think that we might get a saturday/sunday morning clip from their new appartment at some point in s5 🤞
A month later and thanks to instagram users srodulv and lucallemant, we already got the confirmation that they are moving in together :’)
Tumblr media
2. Eliott works in the video rental shop
What they also confirmed is that Eliott works in the video rental shop... which is actually something I’ve been talking about for weeks now because I had a gut feeling about this. But first things first, we have to jump to the first time we got a glimpse of the store - on the 10.06 David posted a photo with Maxence there:
Tumblr media
(Clown Doc, p. 2)
Now originally the theory was a little bit far fetched and it was inspired by these photos - exclusive sneak peak of the Clown Doc, section Theories, p. 211:
Tumblr media
We didn’t have any other evidence at this point so we let it be until we found this and our interest in the theory resurfaced again:
Tumblr media
One night, one cellar, one video club...
And now we obviously know that we were right about this, thanks to Eliott himself :’) At the same time some new bts from the filming were found which you can see here and here’s another exclusive sneak peak we found:
Tumblr media
3. Lucas becomes Arthur’s guru
Final theory for today was inspired by skamlaserie photo of Assa and Edouard:
Tumblr media
When you know that the torch is in the right hands.
Obviously, we know that it implies passing the ‘main’ title from Assa to Robin, but what if the fact that Edouard is in the photo as well is not accidental? What if Lucas takes over from Mika and becomes the next guru for Arthur? For example we have this photo:
Tumblr media
Robin (Arthur?) looks completely broken, like he knows his life is hell and he accepted it because he doesn’t think anything can change for the better: Well this photo may as well be just a bts but what if we get an actual clip with bro talk by the tree trunk?
So that would be all for today! As you can see, thanks to Eliott’s post and Lucas’ comment two of our theories were already confirmed and the season haven’t even started yet! Which is why we ask you again to trust us - we know we’re right 😊
On Friday (27.12) we’re flying to the moon 🚀 on Iza’s blog @arthurbrousard and meanwhile MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

I've never seen a discussion about Jonathan's uneasiness/disapproval about Joyce and Bob and I wanted to lay out some of my thoughts about it.
The references to Jonathan's issues with the relationship are subtle (I admittedly missed it my first go round) but, imo, it's important. There are multiple references to it scattered throughout the beginning of S2. A recent gifset floating around had me thinking about it some more (credit to @ jimsharbour) and in retrospect it was probably one of the biggest red flags that Joyce and Bob were never going to be endgame.
It's really easy to see why Joyce wanted to be with Bob. He was a genuinely good, sweet person who loved Joyce and was willing to be that father figure for the boys. He was safe and reliable and wasn't gonna run off like Lonnie did. But someone isn't compatible with you just people they're a good person. There's a lot that goes into people being a good match. And significantly, you can love someone without being "in love" with them.
I think Joyce loved Bob because he was the opposite of Lonnie. She wanted someone who made her feel safe and who was removed from all of TUD craziness. I think if Bob had been John Smith or John Jones she would have felt the same way. And I think if Bob had lived and they moved to Maine, one day Joyce would have woken up and realized that Bob is not really what she needs. She wasn't "in love" with him. And I think Jonathan knew this.
It would be easy to chalk up Jonathan's disapproval to his trust issues (particularly male authority figures) and his tendency to be a little emo about Being Normal™. And I'm sure that was part of it. But I also think saying that's all it was and calling it a day is selling Jonathan a bit short. He was playing Dad for years and I imagine wants nothing more than to be able to go off to college and continue his life knowing his Mom and Will are being taken care of. But selecting a partner based just on safety and reliability is settling. It's what Karen Wheeler did and he would hate his Mom to go down that same route. He wants Joyce to be with someone who *gets* her and that she truly connects with. He wasn't seeing what his mom's connection to Bob was, what they had in common, what she loved about him specifically outside of him being a good guy.
Jonathan knows that Joyce needs someone who she can bounce off of and have an occasional go at and who is uniquely qualified to handle her (and I don't mean that negatively). She's fierce and she's tough. She should be with someone who is her equal. Bob worshipped the ground she walked on which, let's face it, was kinda nice to see because Joyce is pretty fucking amazing and deserves the best. BUT is that really a good basis for a partnership?
Whether the Duffers intended it or not, all of this contrasts so heavily to me with that scene between Jonathan and Hopper in S1 at the morgue. He actually opens up to Hopper a little bit, trusts him in a way that he doesn't with other male authority figures, and feels comfortable discussing Joyce with Hopper despite not knowing him very well yet. There is a true connection, a connection about Joyce and their mutual understanding of her, that resonates in such a significant way it's the basis for a lot of meta about whether Jonathan is actually Hopper's kid (I'm not arguing that he is, I am not here to go down that rabbit hole lol).
And this is, I think, one of the reasons why Hopper's redemption arc is so critical. Once he is able to get past his trauma and issues and is able to become that safe and reliable person for her, he becomes the endgame Jonathan will recognize and want for Joyce just like we all do.
So I guess all of this is to say that I want more of Jonathan and Hopper in S4/S5. I want more Jonathan/Joyce. I want to see them all starting to work towards becoming that new blended family. And if Jopper is endgame, I want an explicit blessing from Jonathan. I want to see that contrast to his uneasiness about Bob...an alert to us that this time it's different.
And I don't mean for any of this to read as Jonathan's opinion on his mom's love life is more important than her own or that she *needs* his approval to make her own choices. The significance isn't that what he thinks matters more than hers it's that this time what he thinks and Joyce thinks will be in alignment. It's symbolic: Jonathan is comfortable passing on the torch to his mom's chosen partner because they're the right match.
Whenever the concept of the Hopper/Byers family endgame is discussed, it's almost always about Will and El and how they fit in with Joyce and Hopper and that's all important? But, imo, this is potentially the most critical component to it and I've started to realize I personally need it addressed to feel satisfied with closing out all of their stories.

So. I was nudged by someone into typing most of this a couple months ago and nudged by someone else to try just posting it.
So this is a list of all current and near-future and hopefully-later WIPs for either aos or aos/mcu fusions. I have a couple more little ideas, but fic bits with less than a sentence did not get included for Reasons. One of those Reasons is my sanity.
May & Robin - M - alternate future fic, Mom-May and Robin’s pov
May pov - M - time loop future fic, angsty
cracks of the skin - M - Part four of build and rebuild, Bus kids focus, fitzsimmons and daisy a few years on, canon div. au from late in 5b
Mackelena - Part 5 of build and rebuild, probably on hold til after s6
Daisy pov - Part 6 of build and rebuild, first apartment, passing of torches, gen or possibly pipsy,
Huntingbird - Part 7 of build and rebuild, there’s a vacation house a long ways away from where they used to be
Philinda - Part 8 of build and rebuild, a little cabin a long time from now
Polly & Robin & May - T- Polly pov, queerplatonic-ish, canon div. au after 5x22
Coulson & May - M - Shield academies and training slice of life sequence
Philindrew - E - Unplanned and unrepeated threesome but no regrets.
Coulsalinda fic - E - blowing off steam during the stress of 3A
Gen fic - T - Garner’s pov, Barton, Romanoff, May, and Coulson and adventures of the james bond movie thing.
Philinda fic - M - The s5 I love you, their hang-ups and arguments about love in multiple forms, childhood emotional traumas are a theme.
Philinda (mostly) - E - Coulson is a sex nerd and May just does not get the point of it at first, May reflecting on her past experiences, learning experience in writing ‘vanilla-spice’, would not exist without long chat of help from you know who you are <3
Philinda fic - E - trying a new kink together, sequel to the fic above. No doubt I will finish this first.
Gen fic - T - Interactions with May from the POVs of her little strike team- Piper, Davis and Prince
Philinda - E - Accidental injuries are had in the shower, Coulson reflecting on his prosthetic, s5
Garner-May-Coulson Fic - M - Complex relationships between the trio, rotating POVs, from meeting in the 90s to the bitter end in s3, maydrew and Coulson-May as besties
Mackelena - T - s5 hair braiding angstiness
Fitzsimmons - E - trying something new together, Fitz pov, vague s4a setting
Coulsalind focus with maydrew pining, may n daisy reconnecting, and lots of May and Coulson’s friendship - E - Rewrite of season 3 with a slower timeframe and more focus on multi-agency-espionage
Coulsalinda - M - bedtime fluff in Roz’s townhouse, three people squished in the bed, accidentally prompted by well-timed gifset
Maydrew - E - a roleplay game develops over time and totally by accident
May pov fic - E - one of those that will go under that other username >_>
Skye to Daisy Gen fic - transitions and knowing oneself, post s2
Gen fic - the merging of the two Shield entities, arguments and restructuring
Philinda - T - Retired fluff, insomnia cuddles
Mackelena - T - Mack POV thinking about the breakup, accidentally prompted by @preux-chevalier
Bus Kids - G - Introducing Skye to that wondrous British baking show, accidentally prompted by @whistlingwindtree
Season 6 Related
Sarge/May - M or E - Post 6x05. I don’t know what it’ll be yet, but it’s happening.
Fitzskimmons - Nothing concrete yet, but 6x03 gave me hella ideas
Daisy and Simmons - T - pre 6x01, bad coping, desperation, and clinging together while completely missing each other’s emotional needs
Piper and Daisy - M - not quite a relationship yet, but it’s cold out in the black, because I gotta
AOS/MCU
Gen fic - T - Coulson & May with new recruit Barton and then Romanoff, missions together
Barton/Coulson/Romanoff - M - Three spies move in together and realize they have absolutely no idea how to be domestic together, panic and eyerolling is involved
Barton/Coulson/Romanoff - E - The least romantic get together ever, emotions are handled badly, background meldrew, May has no sympathy when Coulson creates his own problems
Steve Rogers POV - Barton/Coulson/Romanoff - Post avengers canon divergent au essentially, reflections on trio relationships, non-aos Coulson character background but retroactively added Admin Agent May because I can
Well. My guess of around 3 dozen wips wasn’t that far off. Only two of these are likely to be another 25k+ monster project, so I might get a few off the list this year!

The man in front exchanges an uncertain look with his companion. “Mr Stark, look, we’re very sorry about this, but our superiors were very clear. Ms Maximoff has to be brought in for questioning regarding her involvement with HYDRA and Ultron. There’s no other way this happens,” the man explains, tentatively. “Look, Agent… Michaelson, is it?” Tony peers at the identification badge that the man promptly flashes at him. “I understand that you’re only doing your job, and great job, but, uh, that’s not going to happen.
