it’s actually so stupid how college works lol. i already did 12 years of public schooling and learned the basics and suffered through those and now i have to go and spend money to take more general courses which is basically like super high school.. why can’t college just be taking classes that give you career specific knowledge that way you’re interested and willing to put in the work and it’s actually beneficial to you. i mean if you have to go to college in the first place to get a degree to get a job… which by the way fuck that too UGH!! not to sound all ‘we’re on a floating rock in space’ but like hello literally… time is so limited and the earth is so beautiful why do we spend so much time forced into doing things we don’t WANT

actually i am going to say that you do have to consider that tim's childhood spent in a variety of sports and activities and exposure to various different sports (gymnastics probably, given whole wanting to be like dick...aikido probably...tennis...probably football at least for a couple years, his dad is jack after all. i'm gonna assume he did little league for a bit, that would track for his upbringing. soccer maybe.) is actually pretty important in giving him a fairly strong starting base prior to him becoming robin as far as good proprioception, strength, good hand/foot-eye coordination, balance, motor control, joint stability, less likely to have a history of injuries or overuse of certain muscle groups due to specialization, etc.

#listen do i think that tim is the best physically no of course not #but i think sometimes he gets cast as well he had a late start in comparison #and i think if you take that view you've really discounted his childhood giving him access to a variety of different sports #and that is actually super super beneficial #so while i do think he's the type to need to practice more and work a bit harder #but it's not like he woke up one day and went from couch to robin #he also would have had a decently strong athletic base to draw from #sorry guys muscles are my thing so like in my head i understand comics and comics logic #but in my heart i'm like no no excessive overuse is not good for kids under a certain age and more likely to predispose them to injury #get them doing a variety of things

Funny that every single fat person is accused of promoting obesity for simply existing- but somehow tobacco companies aren't held similarly responsible for selling a product that causes all kinds of health risks and cancers- fat people are held accountable for their "cost" to the healthcare system but never once have I heard anyone argue for shutting down tobacco companies under the grounds of promoting and glorifying cancer and only existing to sell poison to addicted customers for the sole purposes of their own profits.

Like it's very strange how little we shit on tobacco companies for doing everything we accuse fat people of down to actually costing the healthcare system money, which I doubt fat people do more than anyone else as fat people report delaying doctors visits for as long as possible to avoid weight based discrimination. I just think it's baffling that fat people face systemic oppression for existing because we think we can Individual Choice them into being thin, but we can't Individual Choice tobacco company execs into shutting down a business that exits entirely to get people addicted to cancer causing products to the point of being an ongoing public health crisis. We can't shut up about The Obesity Epidemic ™️ but them stats on tobacco deaths? Well I guess no one can be Systemically Shamed into fixing that except the smokers whom we shame via disgusting images on the back of cigarette packages. Because somehow that's how tobacco companies can be held responsible for getting people addicted to cancer causing products, acting like the customer is responsible for the company selling it.

i never post tiktoks anymore and i have a big following bc i made videos of my cats like talking to each other with the text to speech thing and i hyped up that id be home for summer to post but i havent been creative so ive barely made any and i feel guilty like im depriving 600k people of wholesome cat content but i cant get myself to make one

i feel like, while it can be beneficial, i have gripes with cbt but i cannot articulate it into words

#my only experience with therapy was cbt and it was really beneficial for the first maybe half year #but at a certain point all it did was make me feel worse because it was a stagnant loop of no progress actually being made #and i don't mean it was moving slowly and didn't notice the progress was happening i mean like #as someone with alexithymia and severe memory issues it was quite literally doing nothing for me #once i went over all the shit that happened to me in the past and we started working on the present it was useless cause i couldn't remembe #anything enough to even attempt to dissect any of it #so i stopped going #and i didn't go back even when i needed therapy because i knew that it wasn't going to help me #also something something i am super self aware already so i don't need a therapist to point out things i already know #honestly i just don't even think therapy in general is for me but there aren't many other alternatives that aren't super expensive in the U

when monroe and levi get together and monroe starts distancing himself from his relationship with erwin he also gains weight and stops dying his hair as frequently, and eventually altogether (although he may go blonde now and again for fun.) a big part of his relationship with erwin (if not most of it) was just erwin utilizing him as a tool. having a conventionally attractive, put together 'female' partner was convenient for his goals and there was pressure on monroe to maintain that. so getting closer to levi, someone who could not give half a shit about stuff like that, was really freeing for him. he started eating three meals a day again.

I know a lot of ace kids faked a crush before they realized they were ace - and they’re all valid - but my personal experience was very much complaining about the dating thing to my mom, having her say something like ‘I was a late bloomer and didn’t start until college’, and then immediately thinking ‘awesome I don’t have to bother with this until college then’

Unrelatedly I asked her once if she was ever worried about the teenaged sexual experimentation thing and she said ‘no, because you’d have to actually want to talk to people first’, which is also valid, I guess

#I find both of these facts to be hilarious #especially since I didn’t find out I was ace until college anyways #which genuinely had more to do with the fact that I cared so little about dating/sex that it didn’t occur to me to explore anything #I think this might have actually been one of the rare cases where church purity culture was. well #not beneficial #but also not detrimental #because they were like ‘it’s bad to do xyz because it might lead to *premarital sex*#and I was like ‘cool good thing it’s easy not to do or think about those things’ and no one cares beyond not doing the thing #part of it is that we weren’t exactly super devout #but the other part is that our church wasn’t one of the ones that gets Weird about the creepy arrowful stuff #like it was conservative but not *that* conservative #ace things

Cancer Moon

These people are so sweet and family oriented. But what Ive noticed with people with this placement is that they have that almost scary kind of cunning that we see in movies. This is a real ”femme fatale” placement. Ive had a lot of friends with Cancer Moon and they all had people fall head over heels for them. These women know how to use their femininity and societys view of women to their advantage. They know when to bring out Eve and when to bring out Lilith. This is the family matriarch placement. Ive seen the coldest of people fall for the charm of these women. And they dont need to do much, their energy does it for them. Think Marissa Cooper from The OC who constantly had people fight for her or Brooke Logan in Bold and the Beautiful who came from nothing and became the family matriarch of the richest family in LA. People want to be their knight in shining armour.

Virgo Mars

Mars is strategy and virgo is perfection. Combine these and we have a dangerous person who can make the perfect plan to reach a goal… or take you down. We all know these people have a good sense of fantasy so ofc they can be super good at coming up with ideas. Nobody would think that cute guy with Mercury/Neptune who falls over words and pronounce words wrong on purpose could be calculating? They also have soothing voices even tho its not as ”in your face” as Venus conjunct Mercury. Voices are actually proven to be very important when it comes to how people respond to you. A harmonious voice makes people want to believe you and it also makes people find you more attractive and more pleasant to be around.

Ceres conjunct Sun or Ascendant

Making people feel safe and nurtured around you is super beneficial bc there is nobody who can resist that. Not everybody fall for beauty or intelligence but most people will fall for someone who makes them feel safe and special. These people are just so soft and warm. Marilyn Monroe have Ceres in the 1st house and she had that plump look and comforting energy that ceres gives. It can even be felt through the screen. This makes these people attract a lot of admirers because you become addicted to being around them. People with mommy issues will follow these people like puppies.

keeping a diary is so much FUN and helpful not only for my mental health but for overall GIRLINESS. as someone who's been keeping a diary consistently for two years now, i'll be giving some diary resources and tips on how to get started and maintain a diary.

WHY ITS FUN TO HAVE A DIARY ;

i love to read past entries bcuz first, im rly rly funny and its fun to go back and read what i was writing about at that time and just reminisce on points in my life. it makes for great entertainment and it showcases growth that i've made and the way that my character changed or grew.

its been a game-changer for my mental health bcuz i have a little outlet where i can be completely transparent and just yap endlessly with no one to stop me or invade on my privacy.

TOOLS FOR A PHYSICAL DIARY ;

fluffy pink and purple pens

yummy scented glitter pens

past-able things (examples include ; cut outs from magazines, photos that you've taken and printed, stickers, memo sheets)

some print able and past able resources ;

decoration for the actual diary like glitter, stickers, ribbons, and frills.

for the actual diary , look for diaries that are pretty (for example, fluffy diaries)

TOOLS FOR A DIGITAL DIARY ;

a good writing tool (FOR MY DIARY, I USE NOTION)

cute headers + photos to insert into my diary, i find all of my photos on pinterest.

digital diaries are easily a lot less work then physical diaries which is why i keep a digital diary but keeping a physical diary is SO much fun too.

THE ACTUAL WRITING PART ;

everyone will write in their diaries in a different way based on whatever feels the most natural, but for me i start off my entries with "dear diary" and then write in the journal as though i was writing to a friend so its super comfy and relaxed.

i actually have a couple of writing outlets, so i have a journal and i have a diary. my diary is mostly for my day-to-day life. its updated 2x a week (tuesdays and thursdays) in my journal, thats less about my day to day and just random things i wanna write about.
