I’m sorry I can’t be normal about this event 😭😭😭. Just going to cry and word vomit some more over Same Age Group ajwbrkfkskakwkngnfkakaknks!!! LOOK AT THEEEEEM! 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭

I have so many feelings about these three and their friendship. Just look at how relaxed and buddy buddy they are with each other in this image! 😭 I know they’re all tipsy, but it’s still a fact that they’re great friends and their badge for this event is literally along the lines of “today, at the usual place”. It just makes me so warm and fuzzy that they regularly go out to eat and drink together. Like every time I see them talk about it in voicelines, etc. my heart just clenches and now we get a whole card, song and event about them?!?! I die.

And also the fact that the event teaser description is “The "now" that was unimaginable back then is here.” absolutely destroys me (in the best possible way—I’m being bombarded with all the good feels 😭😭😭). For Tasuku and Tsumugi, they’ve finally reconciled after their fallout and now are acting together when they thought it would never happen again. And, more significantly, the fact that Itaru is part of their group now… when, before Mankai, he never would have thought he’d have friends like this. 😭

And it hits even harder when we look at their gacha cards!!

LIKE WTF?! I wasn’t ready for this?!?! What do you mean Itaru is in the background and implies that these three were so CLOSE to being in each other’s lives during their high school years?!?! I daydream constantly about the “what ifs” of Itaru meeting them earlier in life (like I think about it so much I wrote a whole damn AU series about it 😭) and here it is dangling in our faces 😭😭😭. I just love that the theme of their unbloomed cards is all of them in high school, but then when you get to their bloomed cards…

It’s so obvious that they all have such a presence in each other’s lives! 😭 If we look at that event description teaser especially from Itaru’s POV, he never would have imagined he’d be regularly rubbing elbows with two buddies at an izakaya let alone being so comfortable with people that he would TIE HIS SILLY LITTLE HAIRTIE ON TASUKU’S HAIR and DRINK OUT OF A DUMBBELL BEER GLASS (which he is probably doing out of jokes to Tasuku or maybe just straight up got it as a gift from him).

I’m just so happy that Liber obviously found this friendship so important and significant that they gave us this content and I’m here for it 😭😭😭.

Also the song is SO GOOD?!?! It’s so chill but catchy!! I will cry if they ever perform it at a future Blooming Live concert!! I don’t understand the lyrics but the title of the song being “accord” also just hits me in the feels! 😭 It’s such a positive word to describe their relationship!

I really hope someone will translate the event story, event cards and the song lyrics one day!! If anyone sees the translations somewhere, please hit me up!! Or if any translators wants the raws for translation I can totally supply them!

As a side now, I swear SSR Tsumugi gacha cards are always so hard for me to obtain 🙃. It only took 1,595 gems (11 whole 10-pulls) for me to get one copy of him 🫠🫠🫠. I’ll stop talking now and go back to desperately grinding the rest of my unread content for more gems to try and bloom him 😭😭😭.

Cute dad/Sensei moment :3

Old man like 67 so he Blind now Kashi knocks on his daughter office door waiting patiently even as his old legs protest he waits and when he is finally allowed in he sighs in relief as he sets the food down he knows she was hurry to leave so no breakfast and it’s past lunch so no lunch either so he made all her favorites brought to her dango and anmitsu hand made at his bakery even as his joints are killing him it’s worth it.

Kakashi sits once Sakura helps him find it that is and hey chat and she eats and kakashi was sure he was talking to Sakura about something but he must’ve fell asleep on her while talking poor Sakura.

A faint sound stopped Sakura from filling up a patient’s information sheet. She looked up, placed the pen on top of the paper she’s working on before gently calling out to whoever it is outside her door.

“Come on in!“

Seeing who it was, Sakura made a mad dash towards the door, holding on the knob to allow her unexpected visitor in, while scrunching her face in a small frown.

“Mou, Baba....what are you doing here? And what are these things you are carrying?!“

Kakashi crinkled his face, gently placing a free hand on her head, “Ma, can I not visit you anymore?“

“I didn’t say that!“

She sighed. It seems there is no stopping Kakashi to do things for her in random even in his old age. But even if she seems displeased seeing him fuss over her when he has things causing him discomfort; internally, she’s pleased Kakashi is still quite healthy.

“How did you know I haven’t eaten yet?“ Sakura stared wide-eyed at the amount of food currently spread out on top of her work desk before snapping up a stick of dango, a happy smile drawn across her face.

“Call it father’s intuition,“ Kakashi winked back, smiling.

Doberman celebrating his birthday !!!

SALUTE Recruits and Soldiers !!!! I know its the 9 th of October , but let's all remember yesterday was the 8 th and vice admiral Dobermans birthday.

I had work to do and was pretty tired and then well I got pre occupied at night.... Doberman in his chair reading a book sighs he glances over to me  >>>>> " Don't say you didn't enjoy it " me getting flustered, cheeks exploding in all shades of red, remembering the last 2 nights !!

Um yeah let's go on shall we ?!!

How would Vice Admiral Doberman celebrate his birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY        VICE ADMIRAL  DOBERMAN   !!!!

*  Doberman was never a party animal, even for his Birthday. He prefers having a  drink with his colleagues when they are available ( when out on sea he might sit down with his higher officers for a drink) * He certainly is having a drink and a conversation with Vice Admiral Onigumo. Somehow they both are thick a thieves when it comes to justice. * He actually as a supporter of absolute Justice (most of the time), he get's to be acknowledged on his birthday by Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, sort of as Sakazuki just gives a knowing nod. And if  time permits the whole "Absolute Justice" troop goes out for dinner, not only Dobermans birthday, but on each of theirs.  ( It's a no women allowed zone) So it's all what you would expect to be stereo typical men, steak, whisky and cigars and a room full of alpha males. Nothing but war and punishment of pirates on the mind. * If Doberman is out at seas or rather near by an Island he meets  up for a casual night out with any other vice admiral available, he get's along with most of the other vice admirals despite his lenience towards absolute justice he isn't into peoples face too harsh like Sakazuki. * Doberman isn't a fan of huge amounts or extravagant gifts, however the other Vice admirals know Doberman has a favour for maritime antiques and collectables. If they see something they bring it to him, no big fuss of course, jus a casual stoic exchange between uptight guys. * He lets his subordinates in the  very same manner of stoicism "celebrate",  rather acknowledge, their birthdays, an afternoon relaxed, an officers dinner etc. and when out on sea, let's the married men use the DenDen Mushi to call their wife's. After being pointed out to him that showing kindness and empathy from time to time ,in acceptable measures of course, he clearly put that claim to the test. Doberman was surprised and pleased to find that tempered empathy boosts moral and loyalty of his subordinates. So light celebrations are permitted as long as they don't interfere with the daily routine on board. *Doberman tends to be very simple in his leisure time, even his birthday isn't  soooo special as much as a rather normal day. What he does though is taking the day off, when at HQ  and spend the day studying war and military books, in the evening he would go to the bathhouse and spa that Navy HQ holds for its higher officers and admirals and allow him a good soak. * Does Doberman eat cake on his birthday?! No not really, he isn't a fan of too much too sweet stuff, most he will sample the  traditional Anmitsu  (a Japanese parfait, created from agar-agar jelly. The agar is melted in water or fruit juice to create the gelatin. It is served in the bowl with anko, peas, and a variety of fruits such as peaches, pineapples, cherries, and satsuma orange. Mochi, ice cream, and non-traditional fruits like strawberries can also be served in a bowl).So baking a traditional cake for his birthday will be a task not to sweet and not to heavy. Simple and small.

pre dating time * the first time when you congratulated vice admiral Doberman to his birthday was when he  came to buy himself Anmitsu in the local shop you worked in. Out of being used to have a small chat with your customers you came to know it was his birthday. Doberman was slightly irritated and you being so delighted that it was his birthday, but he enjoyed your smile that day, he could tell it was genuine. Of course no one would know, what he felt, since his face didn't move from its grim look. Also as he found out when he returned home you made the Anmitsu very special, by adding pomegranate and a birthday card.  The next year came, he returned and the same happened again.... ...well a few days later he asked you out on a date, he hadn't anticipated to have feelings at his age. In any case he would give it a fair chance.

* you knew Doberman now for 1 year and where dating him, so you knew about his love for collecting maritime collectables and you knew that honesty was the best policy with him, you were thankful for the time he spent with you. When you asked him though what he wanted for his birthday as a gift besides the annual Animitsu, His response was rather disinterested at first. However Doberman quickly realised this mistake, you just enjoyed  making him happy. He made clear he didn't want anything pompous and in private he preferred. You asked if he perhaps liked to have a maritime antique, he shook his head. "Not necessary, y/n !", truth to be told Doberman didn't want you to go out to sea searching for something antique. It would break his noble heart to if anything happened to you. " And y/n no party either !",he reminded, watching your face carefully, he loved seeing when the gears in your head were grinding, trying to solve the task here. You grinned " Oh no and I sent out invitations to the whole of Navy HQ !". Doberman gave you his brat taming/ disapproving  look, he gotten used to your over the top sense of humour at times, a private thing between you two. He leaned down and forward kissed you  tender on the lips and cupped your face in his large hand. " You have a great intuition, I trust you find something. " You nodded. and what did it all lead to. .. something rather very simple exactly what he liked.   * A very romantic night , you home cooking for the both of you. Candles on the table, an old fashioned for him and a cocktail for you. * At this point you had no idea of the magnitude of this move, Doberman didn't let people easily in his life and certainly not into his home. But this was after the whole incident with Z, former admiral Zephyr his teacher, role model and father figure. Doberman was re-thinking a few things in his life. * After dinner you sat down on the sofa in the living room. He was talking and you were listening for while, then in reverse. It was a fulfilling conversation for both of you. * Soon after he laid down on the couch, taking his cap of for once and placing his head in your lap. You stroke gentle his head and he closed his eyes enjoying thoroughly your gently touch. * After a while you two switched positions and he took over stroking your head gently until you fell asleep. Doberman carried you up to his bed and tugged you in and spent the night on the sofa. He is that kind of descent man. * After getting married to Doberman you started to grow in confidence when it came to gifts, he nurtured you in that regard. * Doberman loved all the gifts that included your hands, the crafted ones as much the touchy ones. He was fascinated with your hands. * So you never really bought anything for him you left this to his Marine brothers. * His favourite gift came in the 2. year of your marriage, somehow you managed to built a lovely patio beside the backdoor of the semi house you lived in. It really touched him on a deeper level and confirmed that he made the right choice in marrying you. * Most sexy and hot gift came that very same night when you surprised him in some nice red  silk lingerie with lace trim.... well it got him excited ( like nose bleed excited)

Chapter 1: Uzumaki Naruto

Uzumaki Naruto simply loves Ramen. For him, Ramen is Life. It's the ultimate food of the Gods.

He's so obsessed with ramen – his dad theorized that this probably started since he was conceived in his mom's womb – that he worked as a part-timer in Ichiraku, a ramen stall near his school when he was still a High School student. Naruto tried to learn everything he could about ramen: from creating noodles from scratch to making different kinds of soup bases and side-toppings.

In short, his obsession with Ramen is the main reason he went and studied in the prestigious Culinary School in Japan. He wanted to introduce and share his first love to the world, and let the people taste the wonder of food of the Gods.

Of course, his beautiful and best mom in the world is Naruto's biggest supporter being a ramen enthusiast like himself. His dad is proudly cheering for him in the side, but not as loud like his mom does.

Naruto was freshman in college when he met his best friends, Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura.

Sasuke-teme is from a wealthy family in Osaka. In fact, he's from that Uchiha Dining Group, so the rich duckling bastard knew chefs from his family all his life and already had a background understanding in the culinary arts.

Meanwhile, Sakura-chan, like him, loves anything sweet. Her favorite foods are dango and anmitsu, but because her parents are Dentists, growing up, she didn't eat sweets that much. But once in a while, she had drunkenly told him and Sasuke, after attending cram school, Sakura would secretly go to tea shops, cafés and dessert buffets with her friends.

He and Sasuke knew that she developed a strained relationship with her mother because of her choice to study the culinary arts instead of being a doctor like her parents.

When they became second years, Naruto chose to attend a class in Traditional Japanese Cuisine under his godfather, Chef and famous Author, Jiraiya.

Sasuke and Sakura were shock at first as they didn't expect that from him (how rude!), but they still supported his decision after the astonishment passed.

Sasuke, on the hand, found an interest in Molecular Gastronomy. He was urged by a senpai to study under the tutelage of Chef Orochimaru. As for Sakura, she went and demanded to the Queen of Pastry, Chef Senju Tsunade, that she wanted to be her apprentice. She was accepted because of her conviction.

And on their last year in Culinary School, before the three of them graduated, they had surpassed their mentors. However, before they could get their degrees, one of the requirements was to intern in the affiliated establishments of their school for six months.

Sasuke didn't hesitate and chose the hotel restaurant near the financial district in Chiyoda ward where his older brother works. It's co-owned by his relative, but Sasuke just wanted to be with his brother and show him how much he improved. Naruto joined his rival and went there too for his internship.

Initially, Sakura wanted to go with them, but instead, she decided to go to Paris and chose a shop owned by a chocolatier, Chef Shizune Shiranui, who also shared the same mentor as Sakura.

Naruto would call her often when he could and when she had the time, Sakura-chan would call him and Sasuke via video-chat while she's interning in France.

Sasuke, the in-denial bastard, always told him that he didn't miss Sakura-chan and her annoying self, but whenever she called, he'll be nearby, hiding in the shadows like a ninja, to hear their conversations.

He pointed it out, but bastard had the gall to lie in his face:

"I just happened to be there," Sasuke lied with a straight-face while they were meticulously prepping the ingredients for the chef's special that day: it was scallops from Hokkaido. "And it's not that I want to hear the both of you talking rubbish about me behind my back."

Naruto just gaped at him in disbelief when he heard that blatant bullshit, he only heard from Kakashi-nii. So, the next time Sakura called, it just happened that it's during the lunch break of the restaurant staffs, and when he "accidentally" connected his smartphone to the Bluetooth speaker was a coincidence. The two of them reminisced their early college days with Sasuke and talked trash about the bastard like the spoiled duckling had wanted… and within everyone's hearing range too. The devil-incarnate of Uchiha harshly scolded him, but Naruto thought it was worth it!

Before the six months of interning was up, the kind owner of Konoha, First Boss as Naruto called Senju Hashirama, offered that Naruto and Sasuke could work there after they graduated. Sasuke swiftly took the offer, elated at the prospect of working close to his older brother– the bro-con didn't care the slightest that the Yōkai he called his relative breathed behind their necks and found faults in every little thing since they stepped foot in the restaurant. Naruto, of course, had enjoyed working in the hotel restaurant's grand kitchen despite the Uchiha no Oni's tyrant ruling there with his cruelty and iron club, so he too, had taken the invitation.

After the three of them graduated and got their diplomas, Sakura-chan happily informed him and Sasuke that she was personally scouted by the owner of a 3-star Michelin restaurant in Tokyo. She's so secretive about the place she'll be working at, but he's just glad that they will be working in the same city.

When Naruto showed up at work as an official paid employee of Konoha after six months of interning there with Sasuke, his jaw dropped at the sight of his female best friend being introduced to the kitchen crew and restaurant staffs as the Fairy of Sweets by the Kitchen Devil himself.

Apparently, Sakura-chan made a name for herself while she was in France and was scouted by First Boss.

He and Sasuke shared a concerned look after Sakura was introduced to everyone. It's a cause of worry for the two of them since they met their sister in all but blood that the pink-haired woman is denser than coffee jelly in the matter of her own heart. For someone who indulges in romantic books and films and a self-proclaimed hopeless romantic at that, Sakura-chan is certainly hopeless and oblivious when it comes to her romance: she wouldn't know that someone is not being overly friendly, but flirting at her.

Two months. It took two months before she unknowingly charmed some staffs in the hotel restaurant. And four months for the Last Demon Boss to be accidentally caught.

The staffs? Sure. It was totally expected. They've seen how Sakura-chan's endearing qualities worked during their college days. But the last one? That, they did not see coming. Ever.

Not the slightest!

He and Sasuke almost lost their freaking minds because Uchiha "Are you an idiot sandwich?" Madara has a heart after all. It's probably black and shriveled, but it's still beating and it beats for their Sakura-chan. WHAT. THE. FU––dge.

For a week, Sasuke looked like he forcefully ate natto and had an on-going constipation whenever he saw his relative approaching Sakura. Naruto didn't know whether to laugh at Sasuke or just curl in ball and cry from war flashbacks.

One time, Naruto had to stop the dramatic Uchiha from dipping his face in the deep-fryer of tempura and kakiage when they saw (from front row seat– Naruto wanted a refund, please) the attempted flirting of the tyrant to their Haruno "oUR heAd CheF iS trULy kiNd AnD frIEndLy" Sakura.

He swore that bastard is soooo extra!

Naruto saw that too, but did he stick his head in the pot of simmering dashi? Nooo! He did not. He's just pulling away the Drama Queen: Sasuke-hime from the hot oil while shouting and calling the Last Demon Boss rude names for trying to romance their Sakura-chan. Not that the Oni knew Naruto was cursing him.

His only solace and soothed his tired heart in this hell of a grand kitchen was the ramen he could eat all he wanted during lunch break. It's truly the ultimate food of the gods! Naruto thought, until he could save enough money to start his business: his very own ramen specialty shop, he will not give up!

Despite all these troubles and hardships, he knew that it will be worth it in the end.

"Uzumaki, what in the earth's name are you doing there? Your shift break is over."

Said the Oni to the mortal enjoying his cup of instant miso chashu ramen. Naruto had to scramble from the stacks of empty boxes and crates near the storage room, slurping clean the soup and noodles as he did so.

"Uzumaki! The chicken won't marinate itself, so come here this instant!"

I have a serious sweet tooth! It started off with my career: I started to eat chocolates and candies because I needed quick energy before running around to collect news… Now it is just my guilty pleasure. I love almost anything that is sweet, but my personal favorite is Anmitsu, parfait, and macaroon.

Ten best food shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ Hotstar

Let me say it straight away— I am not a big fan of food shows. Cruelly aspirational, my kitchen looks nothing like the fancy ones on the show, and even if I were to follow the simplest of recipes, where the chef du jour is just throwing things together to create a fabulous dish, it would unfailingly turn into an unpalatable mess.

Being vegetarian by choice, I find it difficult to watch all that meat. But duty calls and as I dived headlong into the world of food shows on streaming platforms, I discovered the meditative calm of sushi, the anthropological evidence for Prometheus, the heart-breaking beauty of Havana, the unfailingly-disturbing Lord of the Flies and the joy of desserts. One of my favourite Bob Dylan lines suddenly popping up in the middle of a show was an added bonus. So here, in no particular order, are 10 shows you could check out to learn about the emotions, history and techniques of food.

MasterChef Australia

Disney+Hotstar, Seasons: 12, Episodes: 768, Runtime: 30-120 minutes

With new judges, restaurateur and chef Jock Zonfrillo, food writer Melissa Leong and season four winner Andy Allen replacing Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston, Season 12 of the cooking reality show is different yet with the same amounts of drama and intrigue. The mystery boxes, pressure tests, and immunity challenges do not fail to thrill as contestants create works of art from duck’s oesophagus, (really) chocolate, parsnip, parsley, fennel coconut, chilli, mango, lemon chicken and potatoes.

A mild Gordon Ramsay and Katy Perry are celebrity judges while the contestants are winners from previous seasons. If reality shows are your thing, you cannot go wrong with this veteran based on a British show from the 90s where amateurs and home cooks competed for the ultimate cooking prize. Season 12, which started to air on April 13, is into week 5 which is the Twists Week.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Netflix, 81 minutes

When the hurlyburly’s done, when the battle’s lost and won, (cooking and restaurants always remind me of Macbeth), it is time to move to sushi. David Gelb’s documentary about an 85-year-old sushi master, Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011) is beautifully calm. While the movie is all about the perfect cut, the freshest seafood, massaging the octopus for 45 minutes instead of 30, Jiro Dreams of Sushi also tells the story of fathers and sons.

Jiro Ono started working at the age of seven at a local restaurant. A formal portrait of young Jiro with his father holding his hand is all he has of his father, who seems to have lost his money and taken to drinking. Jiro says he did not go to his father’s funeral. Jiro’s elder son, Yoshikazu (50) who will eventually take over the restaurant, still works for his father. Jiro speaks of the kind of tough love he has dispensed to his sons (the younger son has opened his own sushi restaurant) to ensure they will be able to carry on. Even if you are not a fan of sushi, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, with its evocative music and dazzling photography is irresistible.

The Chef Show

Netflix, Seasons: 3, Episodes: 20, Runtime: 26-34 minutes

This is a delightful show for all nerds, geeks and comic-book fans. In 2014 Jon Favreau wrote, acted and directed Chef, a charming film about a successful chef who gives it all up to run a food truck. Roy Choi, the creator of the gourmet Korean-Mexican taco truck, Kogi, was consultant for the film and trained Favreau on all the ninja chef moves.

Incidentally, Favreau directed Iron Man, the movie that set the ball rolling for the gargantuan Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Chef Show which premiered on June 7, 2019 is a spin-off of the film and features Favreau and Choi experimenting with fun recipes (yes that grilled cheese is a star) and breaking bread with some of the biggest names in the entertainment business. It was fun watching them do a pepper pot for Gwyneth Paltrow (nudge, nudge) at Goop and have Tom Holland discuss his audition with Robert Downey Jr.

Ugly Delicious

Netflix, Seasons: 2, Episodes: 12, Runtime: 45-55 minutes

Chef David Chang uses popular food to dissect the concepts of travel, history, culture and the notion of authenticity. The first episode, which premiered on February 23, 2018 looks at pizza—from the uber traditional pizzas in Mark Iacono’s pizzeria, Lucali, in Brooklyn to a tuna mayonnaise one in Savoy in Tokyo and one from Dominos! There are also stops in Frank Pepe in Connecticut, Antillo’s pizzeria in Naples and Bæst in Copenhagen.

With a variety of guests, including food writer Peter Meehan, comic Aziz Ansari and TV show host Jimmy Kimmel, Ugly Delicious is an in-depth look at everyday food. Watching Chef Floyd Cardoz enjoying Awadhi cuisine in the episode on Indian food, which also featured Padma Laxmi, was particularly poignant as Chef Cardoz passed away on March 25, 2020 of COVID-19.

Salt Fat Acid Heat

Netflix, Seasons: 1, Episodes: 4, Runtime: 40–48 minutes

The four-part show, which premiered October 11, 2018, is based on Samin Nosrat’s bestselling cookbook, Salt Fat Acid Heat (2017). The show sees the chef, TV show host and food writer travel the world to investigate the four pillars of cooking namely salt, fat, acid and heat. She travels to Italy to explore fat and the concept of “noble meat,” Japan for salt, Mexico for acid and Chez Panisse (where she worked her way up from bussing tables to chef) for heat. Salt Fat Acid Heat is an interesting way of looking at food buttressed by a charming host and Instagram worthy locales.

Cooked

Netflix, Seasons: 1, Episodes: 4, Runtime: 50-58 minutes

Samin Nosrat is described as “the chef who taught Michael Pollan how to cook” and features in Cooked, Pollan’s four-part documentary based on his eponymous book. The documentary travels the globe to explore the different aspects of cooking, which serendipitously correspond with the four elements—earth, water, fire, and air. Pollan, a writer (The Botany of Desire, The Omnivore’s Dilemma) activist and professor looks at the socio-cultural impact of food on our lives.

In collaboration with Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, Cooked travels with an aboriginal tribe to hunt goanna (a type of monitor lizard) and tries to bridge the gap between our “meat transactions which are hidden behind feed lots and abattoirs” and our plates. There is also singer-songwriter James Taylor singing a song to his pig, Mona.

Released on April 26, 2019, Street Food Asia looks at street food in Bangkok, Osaka, Yogyakarta (Indonesia), Chiayi (Taiwan), Seoul, Singapore and Cebu (Philippines). Looking at the bustling Mangal Chat Wale, the delicious kebabs at Karim’s and batura at Nand di Hatti in the Delhi segment, one can only imagine the silence on the streets now with the lockdown and the number of livelihoods affected. Truoc’s Snail Stall in Ho Chi Minh was a revelation of the number and variety of edible snails.

Chef’s Table

Netflix, Seasons: 6, Episodes: 30, Runtime: 50 minutes

David Gelb, who also created Street Food Asia, considers Chef’s Table a spiritual successor to his Jiro Dreams of Sushi. The show which premiered on April 26, 2015, profiles professional chefs, their inspirations, dedication and determination to make it. Chefs from all over the world including Italy (Massimo Bottura), Argentina (Francis Mallmann), Sweden (Magnus Nilsson) Brazil (Alex Atala), South Korea (Jeong Kwan) and Russia (Vladimir Mukhin), are featured. Gaggan Anand and Asma Khan represent India though their restaurants are in Bangkok and London.

The episode featuring Christina Tosi, founder and owner of Milk Bar and creator of the infamous crack pie was a revelation into what drives these men and women to create delicious works of art. It also revealed the workings of a restaurant including the family meal, where the crack pie (a pie so good it is addictive) was born. Seeing David Chang (he hired Tosi and encouraged her to open the Milk Bar) gives that special joy of connections.

Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse

Amazon Prime, Seasons: 1, Episodes: 6, Runtime: 30 minutes

Emeril Lagasse, the star of cookery shows in the 90s and nougties, travels the world with other chefs discovering the cuisine of different places. The entertaining and informative show was first aired on September 2, 2016. Eat the World… sees Lagasse in Sweden exploring New Nordic with chef Marcus Samuelsson, searching for the Shanghai soup dumpling with Mario Batali, exploring modernist cuisine in Barcelona with chef José Andrés, Jeong Kwan’s vegan cuisine in South Korea and Franco Pepe’s pizza with Nancy Silverton in the Campania region of Italy. In colourful Havana, Emeril and Aarón Sánchez taste the freshest of vegetables from urban gardens in an Ajiaco stew, a fine roasted pig with a cigar instead of an apple in its mouth—it is Cuba after all – and dine at a paladar (restaurants run out of homes).

Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman

Netflix, Seasons: 1, Episodes: 12, Runtime: 24 minutes

This is the perfect dessert to end a food show marathon. Based on the manga series, Saboriman Ametani Kantarou by Tensei Hagiwara, Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman follows the adventures of Ametani Kantarou, (Onoe Matsuya) who quits his job as a programmer and joins a publishing house to indulge his sweet tooth. In the first episode, which aired on July 7, 2017, he zips through his sales calls to visit the Kanmidokoro Hatsune, a traditional sweet shop in Ningyōchō. There he samples anmitsu and is transported into dessert fantasy. His rhapsodies over the jelly, fruit, gyūhi and agony over choosing between white and black syrup are endearing.

I’ve been queuing up posts again and I have to apologize to everyone who follows me for the fact that it will be 98% Neuvifuri posts for the next like month (or two lol) LOLOL.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them for weeks ever since I finally had time to beat the Fontaine Archon Quest in Genshin. 😭😭😭 They live rent-free in my head. They have a vice grip on my soul. They tick off so many boxes for what I love as both individual characters and as a ship. Akakrbfkkaaalkgdksallakfd!!! It’s been a while since I’ve been so obsessed with a pairing and for once I’m blessed with it not being a rare pair so there’s actually content for me to eat up. I have Iike 100 fics on my AO3 read later list.

I also have so many brainworms for fics… and, because it’s Fontaine, I desperately want to write a Tears of Themis x Neuvifuri crossover fic. It’s just too perfect. Has anytime else thought of that yet?! (If you have please send it my way LOLOL, let me bask in it and shower you with praise). I’ve got half of the plot outlined… I hope I can find time to write it someday gyaaaaaah.

part of me wants rosa as furina and artem as neuvillette, but i feel like vyn as neuvillette could also work due to both of them being “outsiders” and that one halloween mr card of his never leaves my mind… or maybe marius as furina (gian as focalor), luke as wriothesley, artem as neuvillette, vyn… i don’t know… maybe in a arlecchino-esque role, and rosa as the traveler? there are so many possible parallels between the fontaine characters and tot (TT)

Oh man, Anon, you’re bigger brain than me. I was just thinking about straight up dropping Furina and Neuvillette into Stellis, LOL 😂. I want Furina and Rosa to be friends 🥺.

BUT HONESTLY!! Furina as Rosa and Neuvillette as Artem would work so well! I feel like Neuvillette and Artem’s personalities are quite similar in many ways, what with both being straight-laced and cool-headed, but also being very sensitive. They also both struggle with properly showing their emotions. I think both have the issue of people thinking they’re cold and unfeeling at first glance!

But I also agree I can see some Vyn in him!! Maybe it’s that elegant aristocratic vibe! Them being “outsiders” is also so true!! Especially when you think about the scenes where Vyn is treated differently from being from Svart, and when his upbringing really makes him stand apart from everyone! ALSO, YES TO THAT HALLOWEEN MR OF VYN AS A SIREN! Very Neuvillette LOL. I love it!!

And there are definitely so many possibilities with the rest of the Fontaine cast!! I also thought of Wriothesley being able to fit into Luke, haha! I think Lyney would also make a great Luke especially considering his duality as a magician and also a Fatuus! Navia would totally fit Marius’ role too, I think!!

Itaru’s “MANKAI Memory” SSR Card - Item Origins

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ITARU!!

I was lucky enough to pull two copies of his “MANKAI Memory” card and, just for fun, decided to take a shot at identifying the origins of each of the items that shows up in the Bloomed version. Since I spent the time wracking my memory and going through all the cards again, I figured I’d share my findings with everyone!

I was able to identify all of the items except (technically) one of them. I know what it is, but I can’t remember exactly where that specific item shows up in that particular form (more on that below). For reference/consistency, I’m referring to the card names by the names that appear on the yaycupcake wiki. The images and references are also all pulled off of the wiki and card fan translations on the wiki.

Hope everyone enjoys this as much as I had fun making it~

Numbers 1 to 5

1 -> Brooch that Itaru wears in his “Melty Eau de Toilette” SSR Card (Bloomed Art).

2 -> (No image reference) This is the item “from before entering Mankai Company” that Itaru chose for his birthday bromide in this “MANKAI Memory” SSR Card story (it’s a sketchbook and colour pencils that he used in his childhood).

3 -> This was the one reference I couldn’t quite place. This is a figurine of a character from KniRound. I’ve seen the character show up/referenced in several card art/stories but I couldn’t remember where the image reference of this particular figurine (i.e. of that size) shows up. I’m sure it was in a card story somewhere, but it escapes me and I’m not able to check the stories (since I don’t have all his cards). I suppose it could be the ornament version that shows up in his “Salaryman Santa’s Visit” SSR Card, but it looks too big. As a placeholder I just put the keychain version that shows up in his “Promise of Blooming” SR Card.

4 -> From his “Marionette’s Destination” SR Card story. Itaru makes his own doll in the card story, and this is that doll.

5 -> Gun that Itaru holds in his “Mood Out of Range” SR Card (Bloomed Art).

Numbers 6 to 9

6 -> Headset that Itaru wears in his “Fulfilled Net Gamer” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

7 -> Handheld game console that Itaru holds in his “Once the Suit is Off” SSR Card (Bloomed Art).

8 -> Gacha capsules that Itaru holds in his “Bloom SPRING” SR Card (Bloomed Art). This is also part of the album cover art for the Blooming Spring EP.

9 -> Script booklet for Knights of the Round IV that Itaru holds in his “KniRound Fulfillment” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

Numbers 10 to 13

10 -> Rosette badge that Itaru wears in his One Day Princess costume.

11 -> Christmas tree ornaments (both the little sword and bat monster) that decorate the mini Christmas tree that Itaru holds in his “Salaryman Santa’s Visit” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

12 -> Phone and screenshot of the mobile game that shows up in his “Marchen Syndrome” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

13 -> Sword that Itaru holds in his “MANKAI Encore” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art). He’s also holding it in his “Memories are in the Game” SSR Card (Bloomed Art), but you can’t see it clearly.

Numbers 14 to 17

14 -> Trident that Itaru holds in his “Wishing for His Heart’s Desire” SR Card (Bloomed Art).

15 -> Doll that Itaru holds in his “Marionette’s Destination” SR Card (Bloomed Art).

16 -> Boxed figurine that Itaru holds in his “Fully Enjoying Nostalgia Park” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

17 -> His Lancelot costume from the Knights of the Round IV play. There’s several cards that this shows up in, but I used his “Knights of the Round IV” N Card as the reference photo.

Numbers 18 to 21

18 -> Rose bouquet that Itaru holds in his “Thankful Pink Rose” R Card (both Non-Bloomed and Bloomed Art).

19 -> Flower wreath shaped as an “I” that Itaru holds in his “Trajectory of Blooming” SR Card (Bloomed Art).

20 -> Teacup and saucer that Itaru holds in his “The Entrance to Wonderland” SSR Card (Bloomed Art).

21 -> Bow tie and top hat that Itaru wears and holds in his “Beautiful Princess” SSR Card (Non-Bloomed Art).

OMG I’ve been so busy with life and work, I’ve barely been around... (LOL, it was my new year’s resolution to be more active on my own blog but now it’s like April 😭)
