[ 📹 Footage from the Al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, where the Israeli occupation army targeted and destroyed two residential buildings in the Camp earlier this morning, killing and wounding several Palestinian civilians.]
🇮🇱⚔️🇵🇸 🚀🏘️💥🚑 🚨
ISRAELI SETTLERS LAUNCH POGROMS ON WEST BANK VILLAGES, IRAN SEIZES ISRAELI VESSEL, DESTRUCTION OF AL-ZAHRAA IN GAZA COMPLETE AS CONFLICTS SPIRAL OUT OF CONTROL
On the 190th day of "Israel's" special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces committed a total of 5 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of no less than 52 Palestinians, the majority being women and children, while another 95 others were wounded over the previous 24-hours.
In response to constant Israeli aggression, and the recent Zionist attack on the Consulate section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, the Iranian military, known as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), hijacked an Israeli commercial vessel from the Straight of Hormuz on Saturday, which was covered in a news piece published by Iran's Tasnim news agency.
According to Tasnim, the IRGC seized the MSC Aries, which flies the Portuguese flag, a container ship linked with the London-based Zodiac Maritime, a subsidiary of the Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer's Zodiac Group.
Tasnim says the vessel was in the waters off the coast of Dubai, heading through the Straight of Hormuz with its transponder turned off at the time it was seized, apparently a common tactic of Israeli-owned or operated ships.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Israeli colonial settlers and their organized militias launched a pogrom against several Palestinian towns and villages across the occupied West Bank of Palestine.
According to reports, armed Zionist colonial settlers, backed by the Israeli occupation forces, launched several large-scale assaults on Palestinians and their property, including the firing of live bullets towards Palestinians civilians and their vehicles, as well as burning Palestinian homes and cars.
The raid began on Friday with attacks on the town of Al-Mughayir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, which saw violent assaults on Palestinian families, including gunfire directed at Palestinian homes and vehicles, as well as the burning of several homes and cars, and was soon followed by attacks on the village of Duma, southeast of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, with similar results.
At least one Palestinian, by the name of Jihad Afif Abu Alia, was killed in the assault, while at least 25 others were wounded by the colonists, who were actively being protected by IOF soldiers.
Attacks also occured on the villages and towns of Turmus Ayya, Abu Falah, Silwad, and several villages east of Ramallah, while attacks also occured on multiple villages north of Nablus, specifically the towns of Bitlo, Kafr Ni'ma, as well as several other areas west of Nablus.
In response the pogroms, the largest of their kind since the October 7th attacks by Hamas, the National and Islamic Forces of Ramallah and al-Bireh called for confronting the settler militias and activating the Popular Guard committees.
Calling the attacks "terrorism and brutality," the defensive organization said Israeli settlers were attempting to force Palestinian citizens to leave their homes in the hope of seizing their lands.
In a statement issued by the defense forces, the group urged Palestinian residents to maintain a state of alertness, calling for "constant and continuous vigilance" to "thwart malicious plans aimed at uprooting our people from their land, and to work with all channels of cooperation, coordination, and epic internal solidarity of our people."
The group emphasized the need to activate the popular guard and protection committees, calling on the defensive militias to burn tires at the entrances to villages adjacent to colonies, bypass streets, and to use mosque loudspeakers to to call on neighboring villages, for any area being attacked, and for everyone to come together in one field unit to prevent the implementation of massacres against the Palestinian people.
The group also emphasized the need for taking measures to provide towns and villages with the necessary means of survival and resilience, to support farmers and marginalized groups, work on campaigns at the international level, and to take immediate action to stop Israeli crimes and aggressive actions against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, as Israeli colonial settlers stormed Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli occupation army continued its constant destruction of what remains of the Gaza Strip after six months of Zionist aggression.
Israeli occupation warplanes focused intensive bombings and missile strikes targeting the outskirts of Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, while also bombarding the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun and Al-Daraj in Gaza City, and also bombing and shelling the Al-Fukhari neighborhood, southeast of Khan Yunis.
Occupation forces also completed their destruction of Al-Zahra and Al-Assra in the central Gaza Strip, destroying the remaining dozens of buildings and hundreds of units of residential apartments.
At the same time, occupation forces renewed its airstrikes on the Al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, targeting anyone or anything that moves in the camp, resulting in a number of casualties.
In one example, occupation warplanes bombed the Thabet family home in the Nuseirat Camp, martyring two civilians, while two other Palestinian civilians were killed after IOF fighter jets bombed the Kahil building in the Al-Samer area in central Gaza City.
Similarly, Zionist warplanes bombed a residential neighborhood in the al-Zarqa area of central Gaza City, targeting the home of the Al-Issa family, resulting in the deaths of at least five civilians and wounding more than 30 others, while at the same time, occupation aircraft bombed and completely destroyed the nearby Al-Asi Mosque.
In another atrocity, Zionist forces bombarded the Tabatabi family home on Friday night, located in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in at least 28 civilian casualties, while IOF raids were also launched against the Al-Shati Refugee Camp, as well as the Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shujaiya neighborhoods of the city.
Elsewhere, the Israeli occupation army bombed in the vicinity of Sheikh Zayed City, killing two Palestinians from Beit Hanoun.
Local civil defense crews from the Khan Yunis governate also said they recovered the decomposing corpses of 10 Palestinians from under the rubble of the Al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Yunis, in the south of Gaza.
Later, the Israeli occupation air forces bombarded the Al-Fokhari area, southeast of Khan Yunis, while an Israeli reconnaissance drone fired a missile at a Palestinian pedestrian as he walked in the street, severely wounding the man, who eventually died from his injuries after being transported to Al-Najjar Hospital in the southern city of Rafah.
At least two Palestinian citizens were also killed, and several others wounded, after Zionist artillery forces shelled the Nuseirat Camp, in the central Gaza Strip, while the IOF also heavily shelled the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
As a result of "Israel's" ongoing special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the death toll among the Palestinian population has again risen, now exceeding 33'686 citizens killed, including over 14'500 children and 9'500 women, while another 76'309 others have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression, beginning with the events of October 7th, 2023.

i see in your bio that you are pro-gun! how do you think the school shootings should be prevented? or do you think that they are not a big problem
It's not as big of a problem as the media has led us to believe. They sensationalize cases of school shootings and act as though they are an epidemic when they account for like 1% or less of all crime committed.
But I think the best way to prevent school shootings is to give children protection from them. Right now, schools have to come up with their own drills for what to do if a shooter enters. They don't have a way to protect or defend kids against these criminals. They really can just run and hide and hope for the best.
We've seen from the most recent incidents that schools cannot rely on resource officers or the police to protect them. And if we take away guns from citizens then they don't have a choice but to rely on the police. And like we saw in Uvalde, sometimes police will just chill in the hall for over an hour while kids are being slaughtered a few doors down.
So I think some good steps to take would be stop making schools gun free zones. Over 90% of mass shootings happen in gun free zones. Over the years, research and studies have shown that even the possibility of a person having a gun has deterred criminals from targeting a location or victim.
We need to allow school faculty who own guns to bring them onto campus, to conceal carry them onto the property if they so choose. A gun is the best defense against another gun. It is the number one way to stop a mass shooting dead in its tracks or prevent one from happening. And we've seen that in recent events like when Elisjsha Dicken stopped a mass shooter at a mall saving countless lives. You can't stop people from committing crime, but you can give people a way to defend themselves against it.
The biggest proponents for gun control are celebrities and politicians who don't leave their homes without armed guards following them everywhere. We need to give our children the same protection celebrities and politicians give themselves.

Dear Ukrainians! Unbreakable citizens of an unbreakable country!
Great people with a great history!
Conscientious society of the state guided by the rule of law!
The fact that all of the above is true is proved by many things.
Ancient documents and chronicles, historical and legal landmarks, religious traditions and folk customs, science, literature, music, painting, legends and myths, proverbs and sayings, and even news releases. All this in its own way depicts our state and all of us. But there is one thing that, in my opinion, gives the most detailed and objective assessment. This is the Constitution of Ukraine!
This is a point of development that we have reached as a state and society over the centuries of history. The government system is our intellect. The form of government shows whether we have moved to the next level of civilization or are stuck in an era of tyranny and dictatorship. The Constitution, like an X-ray, shows our strengths and weaknesses. Our principles, our values, our ideals. The level of freedom and rights that we are willing to defend. The level of maturity and responsibilities we are willing to fulfill. The norms of the Constitution make it possible to decipher the genetic code of our nation. Find the answer to two main questions: what is Ukraine and who are the Ukrainians?
This is our detailed portrait. And especially now, during a full-scale war, its main features are clearly visible. We passed the Basic Law of the state 26 years ago. 26 years later, defending our state is the basic law for us. Why? The answer is in the preamble of the Constitution. The principles of its adoption 26 years ago are the principles of our struggle now. They explain why and what we are fighting for. This is the right of the Ukrainian people to self-determination, the universally approved independence of Ukraine, the irreversibility of the path to Europe. This is the responsibility to God, to one's own conscience, to previous, present, and future generations.
We didn't start the war, we were not the first to shoot and we were not the first to attack. We defend Ukraine, which is a sovereign, independent, democratic, social and legal state. Taking up arms, we did not hesitate, as at a crossroads. We did not choose whether to defend the first article of the Constitution or to adhere to the first commandment of God. God is on our side, he says that defending your home from evil is not a sin. It is a sin not to defend it.
Our sovereignty extends to the entire territory. We are a unitary state. Our territory within the existing borders is integral and inviolable. That is why in the east and west, in the south, in the north and in the center, our people are heroically fighting for these principles and for the second article of our Constitution. Repelling the second army of the world.
Which is indifferent to all the threats and risks of World War III. But we are not indifferent to the norms of the third article of the Constitution. A person, a person's life and health, honor and dignity, inviolability and security are the highest social values. And our people are defending this principle at the cost of their lives, health and security. With honor and dignity!
The norm for us is to protect it. The norm for us is to protect other norms.
Land is the main national wealth. Its subsoil, air, water and other natural resources of its territory, continental shelf and sea zone are the property of the Ukrainian people. We will fight for every meter of our land to the last breath.
Because only the people can change the constitutional order in Ukraine. No one can usurp state power. We know the term "democracy" well, so we don't know what the fifth term is. Our right to protest, assembly and manifestation is a constitutional article, and for others it is a criminal one.
State symbols are not symbolic or formal for us. Our state flag is a flag made of blue and yellow stripes. Two sacred colors. The third is not given. As it is not allowed for a foreign tricolor to hoist over our land, in our sky in any way different than with the prefix "temporarily".
Our coat of arms is a sign of the Princely State of Volodymyr the Great. This is a trident. Not two-headed birds. Because this is not going to fly here.
Our National Anthem "The glory and freedom of Ukraine has not yet perished…" They live and will live on. Our people in the occupied cities are not afraid to go to peaceful rallies and sing their anthem. Sing out loud. Looking into the eyes of the occupier, sing that they will vanish like the dew in the sun. This nation cannot be defeated! Only exterminated. But even this is impossible. Because we are of Cossack descent!
And our state language is Ukrainian. And we respect all other languages. We do not oppress any of them. That is why today people are fighting for Ukraine in Ukrainian, Crimean Tatar, Polish, Russian, Belarusian, Moldovan, Hungarian, Romanian, Georgian and many other languages! Because it is clear without words what evil is. And you can beat it without words.
The occupier expected a warm welcome, but faced fierce resistance. Meeting not with bread and salt, but with "Stugna" and "Javelin", "Bayraktar" and "Neptune", "Vilkha" and "HIMARS".
Our resistance has lasted for 125 days already. For the world it is the eighth miracle, for the enemy it is the ninth wave, and for us it is the seventeenth article of the Constitution of Ukraine. The defense of Ukraine is the most important function of the state and the matter of the entire Ukrainian people.
We have no choice but to defend our choice. It is our obligation to protect our rights. Rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
An inalienable right to life that Russia has violated tens of thousands of times and claimed tens of thousands of lives. It is the inviolability of home, which is violated every day and night by its missiles, bombs and bullets.
These are rights that are familiar and inalienable to us. This is freedom of speech. That is why Ukrainians are not afraid to tell the enemy "go home." Because they have freedom of thought. They know how to think, see, hear, understand, distinguish truth from lies. This is the right to vote and to be elected. Impossibility to be arrested for nothing. Freedom of movement. Immunity. These are all children's rights.
We are fighting for all this today. To defend, liberate and restore. For our future generations to have rights, our generation has no right to give up. We do not have such a desire either. The enemy will not be able to realize the force with which we are ready to fight for our rights and freedoms. He who does not have it himself will never deprive others of it. That is why victory is inevitable for us. Punishment is inevitable for the enemy. And it will come. And peace will come, too.
And our children will finally go to school. They know from an early age what freedom and struggle for it are, what rights are, what the Constitution of Ukraine is.
And they know what glorious legal ancestors they have. In particular, the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk, which is over 300 years old. It is called the first written Constitution of Europe. And last year it visited home, Ukraine, for the first time. It was exhibited in Kyiv, but it is fair to read it in every corner of Ukraine. To this end, it will be translated from Latin into Ukrainian, and tens of thousands of copies will be sent to Ukrainian schools! We are sure that sooner or later the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk, the Constitution of independent Ukraine, and other subjects of the Ukrainian school will be studied by our happy and smiling children - in Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Kherson, Crimea
Victory is not far off! Victory will be ours!
Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine, dear citizens!
Glory to you!
Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
Glory to Ukraine!
- President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy

I think one of the misconceptions both sides in the anarchist debate have is about "warlords" and where they'll come from and how they'll take over and how they'll be resisted; that, once the state is gone, groups of violent criminal thugs will begin to pour out of the woodwork and take control through force (unless stopped by the common citizens voluntarily working together for their own good).
I think this is probably inaccurate. The warlords will be homegrown and take control under the guise of "protecting their volunteerist society".
Let's say that there was a massive revolution, the Deep State was uprooted, and the common citizens decided that they don't need a formal government or elected leaders or a king or anything like that, because almost all interactions between people take place without those. No taxes, no police, no military; all interactions are just people working things out between each other. We've got our volunteerist society based on mutual respect between individuals, not fear of cops or government thugs.
And gangs of criminals do arise...but they're held in check by common citizens defending their own rights and coming to the aid of their neighbors. There's gangs and bandits and cartels, as well as foreign powers coming to try to claim land and tribute, but they're opposed by armed common citizens protecting their rights.
Thing is, organized groups (like gangs) are able to concentrate their force; to effectively oppose that, you need similarly organized and concentrated force. Moreover, not everyone is young and healthy and a good shot. Not everyone's physically up to fighting off bandits and invaders and shit all the time.
So a volunteer militia forms. Let's call them the Liberty Keepers. They're a group of folks - mostly young men - who join voluntarily, bring their own equipment, and do their part to make sure that folks aren't being robbed and coerced by gangs and cartels and shit. They're good people voluntarily protecting their friends and neighbors.
And the Liberty Keepers are very effective. So effective, in fact, that people start donating to them so they can be more effective; to do what they do full-time. All voluntary, of course; it's all charitable donations to a volunteer group that's looking out for their communities.
Well, in any society there's going to be folks with irreconcilable differences, and in such cases it can help to have a third party in the community handle things. And so the Liberty Keepers start being called in to handle disputes; to mediate when two parties claim that the other one is violating their property rights and violating the NAP.
The Liberty Keepers become very popular. They're heroes! They represent the best of our anarchist society: volunteers from within the community doing voluntary work to make sure everyone else can live life free of government coercion. People tell heroic stories about the Liberty Keepers. Kids grow up wanting to be Liberty Keepers.
Turns out, though, that the Liberty Keepers keep tending to side with the folks who donate to them more. Clearly a coincidence; or perhaps, the folks who understand the importance of the Liberty Keepers also have a clearer understanding of anarchist philosophy. Of course the Liberty Keepers would side with them more! They're real anarchists!
Also, certain people start taking priority in the Liberty Keepers. They're not really organizational leaders in the governmental sense; it's just that everyone keeps voluntarily siding with them. They're community leaders. And the folks within the Liberty Keepers who don't side with these leaders...well, people stop voluntarily associating with them. And maybe they start having some bad fortune. Their houses burn down. They go missing. But who can say why? It's a volunteerist society, maybe they just voluntarily left town.
Businesses start giving more and more to the Liberty Keepers - voluntarily, of course. Businesses that don't? They start to lose business as they get badmouthed. "You don't want to support the Liberty Keepers? Why do you hate anarchy? Do you want an oppressive government back, demanding high taxes and sending your kids off to war and telling you what you can and can't do? I'll take my business elsewhere!"
And, much like the folks who opposed the community leaders within the Liberty Keepers, bad things happen to them. Their shit gets stolen, or breaks a lot, or shipments go missing. They get robbed more often. And the Liberty Keepers aren't under any obligation to do anything about it; after all, it's a volunteerist society, and they choose not to. Besides, self-defense is ultimately everyone's personal responsibility.
After a while, every business is giving the Liberty Keepers a cut. The workers find it taken out of their paycheck; the customers find they're paying extra. But the customers can always choose to shop elsewhere, and the employees can always choose to find another place to work...if they can find somewhere else that isn't giving the Liberty Keepers a cut. (Good luck with that!)
People start complaining that the Liberty Keepers are siding with folks who pay them (I'm sorry, voluntarily donate) more...so, to "make things fair" and "ensure there's no coercion in our volunteerist society", the Liberty Keepers just start taking a flat 15% from everybody. And if you don't pay, well, they can't be blamed for what happens to you. (And if you do pay extra, well, they can't stop you from voluntarily giving extra, now can they?)
Eventually someone says that the whole reason the Liberty Keepers were established was because not everyone's equally capable at armed self-defense, and it's impossible for them to make voluntary uncoerced agreements with their heavily armed neighbors intimidating them...so maybe - to ensure that the NAP goes unviolated - the Liberty Keepers should be the only folks allowed to have guns. The Liberty Keepers think this is a great idea. The act of having a gun while not being a Liberty Keeper is declared to be a violation of the NAP and gun ownership is restricted.
Also, the government of the country next door is looking kind of threatening, so in order to prevent our free anarchist society from coming under government sway, the Liberty Keepers are going to need to build roads for mobility purposes and they need updated weapons systems and food and supplies and gasoline and morale-boosting entertainment, so they're going to start collecting more taxes voluntary donations from everyone. Also they're conscripting your son.
This is all necessary to protect our free anarchist society with no taxes or violent coercion by armed government thugs, you understand.
"But that's not how that works!" you cry. "That's not what the NAP is! That's not what volunteerism is! This is a bunch of twisted, bad faith definitions! This isn't an anarchist society!" Yeah, that's my whole fucking point.
Anarchists seem to think that the slow creep of government control can't happen under their system, because there's no government and the people will be ever vigilant. But the people are not ever vigilant, and they have always been vulnerable to sophistry and hypocrisy. Vast numbers of people will always gladly become the very thing they claim to hate in the name of fighting it.
Look at how many people right now are actively supporting political violence, the restriction of free speech, and absolute government control under the guise of "fighting fascism", when those things are exactly what fascism is. People under an anarchist system will fall for the same shit, because people are people. They will gladly give up all freedom and control and a whole bunch of their livelihood to a group of armed elites who make rules for them "so they don't have to have a government".

Why are people not more angry?
As a women, in a large portion of the US, I have more rights to my own body after I’m dead than when I’m alive. When I die my body cannot be used to save people unless I give consent. Even if 10 people are dying right next to me, that could live with my organs, I cannot be forced to give up any part of myself to save them. Even if you consider a fetus to be a ‘baby’ I should not be forced to give up my body, my energy, my nutrients, my anything to another being without my consent. When I am legally brain dead, meaning my brain function is low enough that it prohibits my ability to perform life skills or cognitive functions my next of kin has the right to “pull the plug”. The fetus does not have viable brain function and without MY BODY to support it, it ceases to exist. This is a morbid and detached way of viewing this issue. I personally do not believe abortion would be my choice, but I am privileged. My personal choice has very little to do with this issue.
Whether or not you support women having bodily autonomy, the overturning of Roe vs Wade is a problem for all genders. Dozens of court cases ranging from contraception to private matters within a persons home have been decided with Roe vs Wade as a basis for determination. With this precedent being overturned, every case it has been used in is now in question. The supreme courts job is to interpret the constitution, uphold the constitution, and protect citizen rights. Over 50% of the population of the United States just lost their rights. The constitution, which our democracy is built upon, is written with religious neutrality as a founding point. In the preamble of the constitution a main purpose of its creation was to promote general welfare of citizens. How is this decision an extension of American values?
The 14th amendment clearly states that all persons BORN or naturalized in the United States shall not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process. A key statement in here is born. A fetus is not born at conception. That is a religious view, and even that can be contested with Genesis 2:7, Job 33:4, and Ezekiel 37:5-6. The Bible is often interpreted and unclear, even to those who dedicate their life to studying it. In these passages it states that “life begins at breath”. A fetus does not breath, and if you want to argue that they receive oxygen from their carrier that is not the definition of a breath. The mother on the other hand is a living and breathing citizen of the United States and has a constitutional right to their life. If forcing a women to carry a fetus to term kills her that is a direct violation of her right to life. Religion has no place is the this ruling because we have a right to be free from religion in this country.
Liberty in the constitution refers to a person having the freedom to act according to one’s will. How is this not a violation of a citizens liberties? The ruling the Supreme Court has given violates their essential function. This is only the beginning. If they can violate these rights what is to stop them from doing the same to others? Even pro-life activists will be upset when freedom of religion, freedom of speech, right to due process, or right to bear arms is questioned. The Supreme Court recently ruled in the case of Vega vs Tekoh and furthered this point. The case was pertaining to Miranda warnings, established in a previous case of Arizona vs Miranda. It is considered to be a precedent, yet it has been overruled and now citizens do not have the right to seek reparations when denied these warnings. This is an example that what is to come affects every single citizen in America, not just women. So be angry and be upset. The only way to create protections for ourselves is to feel this deeply enough to make changes in our systems.

By • Olalekan Fagbade One person killed, nine others shot as armed robbers invade Students hostel One student was killed on Friday when suspected armed robbers attacked the Gateway Polytechnic (ICT), Sapaade, Ogun State. During the attack, the gunmen also shot nine other students of the institution. The fresh attack is coming barely a week after students protested the alleged robbery and rape of female students of the polytechnic by the hoodlums. It was gathered that students residing at the off-campus hotels located at Ode, Ipara and Isara, all adjoining communities to Sapaade, the host of the institution were mostly affected by the incident. Following the students’ protest last week on Tuesday, the management shut down the institution for three days to restore sanity to the polytechnic. The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu also held a meeting with the students’ leaders over the rising tension around the students’ communities. However, the suspected robbers returned to Ode, one of the communities in the early hours of Saturday and attacked students. One of the students told Daily Trust that the gun-wielding hoodlums invaded the students’ hotels around 3 pm and unleashed terror on them. The source added that the attack which took place in the Larufi area of Ode left one dead and nine others injured including a landlord. In some of the viral clips of the attack, shattered doors, broken windows and walls riddled with bullet holes were observed. It was gathered that the robbers used heavy stones to break some windows to force their way into the hotels. “I heard a gunshot around 3 am and when I woke up this morning, I was told they shot nine students and one landlord. They were taken to the hospital, but one died. They stole a car to escape,” one of the students told Daily Trust. A senior lecturer at the polytechnic confirmed the attack, saying six were shot of which one died. “According to the story I heard, the guy that was shot (dead) is not our student, he graduated last session hopefully expecting to come back for his HND next session,” the lecturer said. He described incessant attacks on students as unfortunate. “It is quite unfortunate that the government has deviated from the agreement between the state and citizens. Protection of lives and property are nothing to write home about in this country where our environment is not left out,” the lecturer added. The Police Spokesman, Omolola Odutola, has not responded to calls and messages sent to him as of the time of this report.

Why Carry a Gun?
"My old Grandpa said to me, 'Son, there comes a time in every man's life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and usually it's when he becomes too old to take a whoopin'.'
I don't carry a gun to kill people; I carry a gun to keep from being killed.
I don't carry a gun because I'm evil; I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the World.
I don't carry a gun because I hate the government; I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government.
I don't carry a gun because I'm angry; I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared.
I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone; I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon.
I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man; I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love.
I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate; I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate.
I don't carry a gun because I love it; I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me.
Police protection is an oxymoron: Free citizens must protect themselves because police do not protect you from crime; they just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess.
Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a whoopin'!"

You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.
*Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect ONLY the law-abiding citizens.
With guns, we are 'citizens'; without them, we are 'subjects'.
During WW II, the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
Gun owners in the USA are the largest armed forces in the World!
If you value your freedom, please spread this anti-gun control message to all of your friends.
The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense.

If you don’t take this kind of stand, your little children will grow up and look at you and think “shame.” If you don’t take an uncompromising stand, I don’t mean go out and get violent; but at the same time you should never be nonviolent unless you run into some nonviolence. I’m nonviolent with those who are nonviolent with me. But when you drop that violence on me, then you’ve made me go insane, and I’m not responsible for what I do. And that’s the way every Negro should get . . . This is what is meant by equality. What’s good for the goose is good is good for the gander. Uncle Sam’s hands are dripping with blood, dripping with the blood of the black man in this country. He’s the earth’s number-one hypocrite . . . Let the world know how bloody his hands are. Let the world know the hypocrisy that’s practiced over here. Let it be the ballot or the bullet. Let him know that it must be the ballot or the bullet . . . The Afro-American’s Right to Self-Defense (1964) [Malcolm X is alternately reading from the Organization of Afro-American Unity’s founding charter and spontaneously elaborating on it. The text in quotation marks indicates he is reading directly from the charter.] “Since self-preservation is the first law of nature, we assert the Afro-American’s right to self-defense. The Constitution of the United States of America clearly affirms the right of every American citizen to bear arms. And as Americans, we will not give up a single right guaranteed under the Constitution. The history of unpunished violence against our people clearly indicates that we must be prepared to defend ourselves or we will continue to be a defenseless people at the mercy of a ruthless and violent racist mob. We assert in those areas where the government is either unable or unwilling to protect the lives and property of our people, that our people are within our rights to protect themselves by whatever means necessary….” This is the thing you need to spread the word about among our people wherever you go. Never let them be brainwashed into thinking that whenever they take steps to see that they’re in a position to defend themselves that they’re being unlawful. That only time you’re being unlawful is when you break the law. It’s lawful to have something to defend yourself. Why, I heard President Johnson…talking about how quick this country would go to war to defend itself. Why, what kind of a fool do you look like, living in a country that will go to war at the drop of a hat to defend itself, and here you’ve got to stand up in the face of vicious police dogs and blue-eyed crackers [rednecks] waiting for somebody to tell you what to do to defend yourself! Those days are over, they’re gone, that’s yesterday. The time for you and me to allow ourselves to be brutalized nonviolently is passé. Be nonviolent only to those who are nonviolent to you. And when you can bring me a nonviolent racist, bring me a nonviolent segregationist, then I’ll get nonviolent. But don’t teach me to nonviolent until you teach some of those crackers to be nonviolent…. So it says here, “A man with a rifle or club can only be stopped by a person who defends himself with a rifle or a club.” That’s equality. If you have a dog, I must have a dog. If you have a rifle, I must have a rifle. If you have a club, I must have a club. This is equality…. “Tactics based solely on morality can only succeed when you are dealing with people who are moral or a system that is moral. A man or system which oppresses a man because of his color is not moral. It is the duty of every Afro-American person and every Afro-American community throughout this country to protect its people again mass murderers, against bombers, against lynchers, against floggers, against brutalizers and against exploiters.”

Podcast: Audible Anarchist: Alexander Berkman: What is Communist Anarchism? Chapter 3: Law and Government.
In this chapter Berkman explains how the government and law support the right of capitalists to extract profit from us at every turn.
All wealth is created by labour but is the legal property of employers. The law says that we consent to this arrangement by entering into agreements with our employers. It's our choice, they say. But Berkman argues that we had no more choice in this matter than if we were robbed at gunpoint. The capitalist class, the employers, have all the power and the workers are compelled to work for them through financial coercion.
This is robbery and it is this robbery that is the foundation of capitalism.
We are taught that we are free citizens, but how free are we? Our lifestyles, our comforts, and our ability to do as we wish are restricted by our wages. Our constitutional rights don't guarantee us basic necessities or comforts, only the right to seek them out and only those ones which we can afford. We may have the right to eat three meals a day but we shall have no guarantee that we'll be able to do that. Why don't we see it? Because we are educated from infancy to believe that it is right and good. We are taught to be hones while we are robbed our entire lives. We are commanded to respect the law while the law protects the capitalists who are robbing us. We are taught that killing is wrong while the government kills every day through wars and executions.*1
All through life we are fooled and deceived, which makes it all the easier to steal from and exploit us.
Our labour supports the institutions that tell us to keep our noses down and accept our lots in life. Namely the government, the churches, and the schools. They do no useful work for society, and it works out well for them if we keep quiet and do as we're told. *2
So what can be done about this? The entire working class, millions of workers around the world, are being robbed and are unaware of it. Tell them. *3
The farmers of the world produce all of our food but are robbed at every turn by banks, mortgage holders, steel trusts (?) and railways, all of whom must be paid out of the farmer's earnings, which are nowhere near what their products are finally sold for in retail stores, after they've been marked up again and again through the chain of custody. The farmer is the lowest-paid worker in the whole chain. Law and government permit and assist in this robbery on the basis that the land, which no one created, belongs to the landlord. *4
The right of the capitalist to extract profits is enshrined in law. All of humanity is enslaved to, and dependent on, a small group of bankers. Through a chain of trusts, corporate holdings, companies, franchises, etc., every part of it is dependent on the credit of banks, who can withdraw their support whenever they choose in order to put this or that capitalist out of business. It's absurd to consider that such a tiny minority of people have so much power over us but it gets even more ridiculous when you consider that the farmer and the labourer, upon whom all of society depends, are the most impoverished workers of all.
But don't these bankers work hard? Don't these capitalists work hard? Sure they do. They work hard at robbing us. Otherwise they produce nothing of value to society.
If the millions of workers around the world were aware of their exploitation they wouldn't stand for it. Which is exactly why capitalists and governments put so many resources and so much effort into indoctrinating us. We wholeheartedly support the system that oppresses us. Capitalism also relies on government to protect it through its police and its armies. But these police and armed forces aren't staffed by the capitalist class, they're recruited from the ranks of the poor. How can these people be recruited to protect their masters from our rebellion? It's pretty simple. Offer people a chance to attain some power within a corrupt and predatory system and they'll take it. *5
Capitalism robs and exploits the whole of the people, the law legalises and upholds this robbery, the government uses one part of the people to aid and protect the capitalists in robbing the whole of the people, and the entire thing is propped up by educating the people to believe that capitalism is right and the law is just.
Footnotes: *1 - obviously this was written for an American audience a century ago. Most Western nations have abolished official state executions.
*2 - Obviously I completely disagree with Berkman about the value of schools. Here I think Berkman is envisioning schools merely as locations of indoctrination but there's been so much written and tried with regards to anarchist or non-authoritarian, cooperative schools that I think he's going too far here. Educators perform a valuable service to society by making sure that members of society grasp basic concepts and are able to work together.
*3 - It's odd to me that Berkman says this in roughly the middle of the chapter and then goes on to describe the plight of the farmers of the world.
*4 - Or whoever owns that land.
*5 - Look at how many cops are power-tripping bullies who believe that they're owed deference.
Opinion:
It's interesting that Berkman continually refers to governments where modern anarchists tend to refer not to government but to the state. I once heard Mildred Thought Slime say that many anarchists have different ways of defining the state but that "the government" is the most useless definition.
Berkman seems to have a very particular idea of what constitutes real and valuable labour, and it seems to be in the sense of tangible production. If you make a thing or grow and harvest a thing you are performing a valuable service to society. But I think there are roles like teachers and engineers that produce valuable intangibilities. Maybe it isn't fair that some people should partake of the products of others without producing anything tangible themselves, but Berkman also advocates for a society free of coercion where people can work or not work as they please. It makes me think of Le Guin's Odonianism and makes me want to recreate it as a real movement.

Devan Jarrett his wife was scared for her life and was trying to plead with him while the husband was trying to leave and not back down, for his rights and stand his ground to fight for true freedom , the officer clearly did not have to shoot the guy ,,
the officer should be hung by a rope for killing a American citizen that has not harmed anyone or any actual crime of a victim or property damage, that's the facts, the facts is the guard was not in any danger unless he actually fully accelerated and hit him,
the driver stopped he was warning the officer to back off because of the illegal criminal acts of the officer violating him and his wife, no justification to shoot a un-Armed man when there is a lower choice of stopping the threat and levels of force, I say there is a history of the situation and the guard reacted wrong and killed when it was not necessary.
mr. Kirkland is against any killings and wrongdoing of rights as American citizens. I hope it true the guard got charged for the murder of this American citizen,  murder is not good ..

1/ The enemies within / analyzed by over watch for the country and public domain/ who is the real enemies within and operating under the color of law? Who is really the ones committing high felony treason?
2/ Theses deep state operatives listed defendants/ say this
according to legal experts who have poured over the final report from the House select committee investigating the Jan 6 riot that forced lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to flee for their lives, the Department of Justice and, in particular, special counsel Jack Smith, have been handed a powerful document that provides a detailed roadmap that should lead to criminal indictments.
4/ No grounds for any true elements of a crime against the trump Donald Trump.
5/ Kirkland’s thoughts
The deep state operatives who were selected in the manner of a so-called preliminary investigation really has no authority and no actual knowledge of the real law and its reason why trump reason to protect and defend the constitution in a timely manner,
6/ The constitution and trump has proven by actions and worked hard to restore it at all levels, the fact the of the matter is there is no elements of a crime and no standing in a real article 3 court, the deep state operative are fishing just as they did in the past.
7/ The legal experts and the media experts are a danger to our society and fundamental principles and amendment provisions and articles and declarations of rights as a nation.
8/ Most of these people who are selected to a committee are a paid operative, and do not actually have any schooling on Constitutional law.
9/ They are schooled in the manner of the contract laws and then specialized in demonic democracy and demons’ action against the real purpose the real law and its intent,
10/ they are usually commercial admiralty and commerce, all operating under the color of law and without no actual authority that is granted by the people,
11/ they have twisted the Constitutional issue to there advantage, and it is backfiring on them, and that is a positive thing because the system is made to expose them all, the fathers of the nation was very smart and inspired by God.
12/ Analyzed and no grounds a deeps state operatives just fishing to create a crime when they have nothing withstanding,
13/ The report notes that Donald Trump is the centerpiece of the 800-page report that one legal scholar claimed went far "beyond a call for heads to roll."
14/ As former DoJ inspector general Michael Bromwich explained, "“The January 6 committee’s final hearing and lengthy executive summary make out a powerful case to support its criminal referrals as to Trump, [attorney John Eastman, and unnamed others.”
15/ Bromwich added, "Although the referrals carry no legal weight, they provide an unusual preview of potential charges that may well be effective in swaying public opinion.”
16/ RELATED:Some members of Trump's inner circle looking forward to the DOJ possibly indicting him: report
17/ Related video: US: Donald Trump lashes back at January 6 report, calls lawmakers 'sick people' (WION)
18/ The actual criminal of the deep state operatives are fishing to try to create a crime against the true intent but will back fire on them and now comes the listed defendant that are fraud and operating under the color of law and that has no authority and no wisdom of the true intent of the real law the Constitutional law.
19/ Trump will win again on the true intent and with no willful evil intent to destroy the Constitution and to further expose the institutions involved for operating under the color of law and violations of the Constitutional real intent and its merits.
20/ The true crime being committing is the violations of the fundamental principles and the amendment and provisions and articles and declarations of rights at a state and federal law being committed by the operatives against the trump legacy and the blocking of the true intent of him restoring the rule of law as it true merits and the reflecting of the mirror.
21/ What the deep state does not understand is they can never change or sale true freedom and the nation history and the truth in correlation to all sister state of the compact agreement of the iron clad contract.
22/ Any institution and support that breaks our Constitution down is high felony treason. Especially during court procedures and due process in the proper venue.

SHTFPreparedness might be compensated with a portion of the sales made through the links on this site. Two female nurses were helping a patient to an ambulance in Gainesville, Georgia when they were stopped by a man with knives. Police were alerted to the threat by the man and told that he was talking about killing people. However, they still have not arrived. An armed veteran of the military nearby intervened quickly to ensure that the women didn't get hurt in an unprofessional sidewalk surgery. On Monday morning, the Gainesville Police Department received a call about an unusual behavior. It alerted them to a man living in the Shades Valley Lane area and Valley View Court area. He was "possibly in mental health crisis and armed with knives...running in the area, causing harm and threatening people." Witnesses said that the man had initially destroyed property with a boy, believed to be his son. He then called for help from others to kill him. GPD Lt. Kevin Holbrook later identified the man as Darrion Suave Frley, 34, who passed the nearby apartment building and then went into the neighboring neighborhood. Lt. Kevin Holbrook observed that Fraley's behavior was "erratic" and it "looked as if he kicked over (and) damaged some vehicles." Fraley met two female nurses who were loading a patient in an ambulance. Fraley, who was still holding what one witness called steak knives, threatened medics and chased them down. An armed neighbor intervened to save the lives of EMTs. A woman claiming she is the stepmother of the armed neighbor told WSB TV that he was a veteran of the military and "came back inside to obtain the weapon because the gentlemen began coming into our driveway." Fraley allegedly attacked the veteran after the veteran returned to his vehicle with his gun. Fraley opened fire and hit his attacker several times. John Morea, a local resident woke up to the sound of gunshots. He said that it was four shots. "Someone outside popped him, that was it." The veteran's stepmother stated that "it's not what the veteran planned to do this morning but when someone comes at me, and it's between them and you, and it is between you and them... His military training kicked into." She also said: "You do whatever you need to protect yourself and yours." Holbrook claims that Fraley was shot after he took the gun from the shooter and tried to use it to kill him. However, there were no bullets left in the gun. Fraley was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries. Fraley was arrested for attempted murder, two counts each of obstruction of an EMT and possession of firearms, possession with a knife during a crime, as well as aggravated assault. Fraley's family later said to KVVU, that Fraley had been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenia. The incident was due to an imbalance in Fraley's medication. His mother said that Fraley was "talking about murdering people" in a newly -released 911 call. The neighbor who was armed sustained minor injuries, but is not currently facing any charges. The current debate centers on the ability of Georgia's law-abiding citizens to protect themselves everywhere, just as the veteran did in Gainesville. If elected, Stacey Abrams would abolish Republican Governor. Brian Kemp's " Constitutional Carry", which requires lawful weapon carriers to have a Georgia weapons license to carry a firearm. It also restricts firearms from parks, historic sites, or recreational areas. Abrams stated earlier in the year that he would work with everyone he could to repeal the senseless gun laws that were passed over the past decade. on the other side argued that Kemp should be able to carry a gun without any government paperwork. They have it in the United States Constitution with its Second Amendment. Bonus: Root Cellar that Can be Used as a Bunker Do you remember the old root cellars our great-grandparents

its been a few years and villian and hero have a mildly cordial relationship like theyre not actually trying to do Murder on each other or anything but hero doesnt know about villains past or anything
then supervillain comes to the city cause they finally found villian
and villian naturally is scared and whatnot
bonus if supervillain has an agreement with the hero agency cause theyre like yeah my weapon or reassure or whatever was stolen or something but they mean villian and the hero agency doesnt know that villian is who is being looked for
The hero rubbed their palm over their forehead, sighing.
“So, let me get this straight. You want witness protection?”
The villain swallowed. Precisely put. Also, very bluntly.
Though they wanted to do more, all they could manage was a nod. Constant anxiety creeping through them had left them sleepless for over a week now. They were exhausted to the bone, barely standing. Surely, they couldn’t do this any longer.
They needed the hero’s help. Not even the agency itself was ready to provide any assistance but the hero was good. Wholeheartedly devoted to the citizens. And the villain was a citizen. They had to help them.
“And what exactly have you witnessed?” the hero asked, looking over the agreement of the agency again.
“Coercion, poisoning, drugging, assault, battery, imprisonment?” the villain answered.
The hero quietened, redirecting a tiny decorative statue of another superhero —probably their friend— on their desk. Before they turned back to the villain, they looked out of the window, watching how the streets below were living a life on their own.
“I cannot prohibit them to come here,” they said, gaze piercing through the villain.
“They are a supervillain,” the villain insisted. There had to be some kind of law to forbid a fucking supervillain to enter the city.
“Look, this paper states their weapon has been stolen and they have a right to search for it since it’s their property. They are allowed to cross our territory, I cannot disallow it as long as they don’t do any harm. I don’t like it either, believe me.”
“They are searching for me. I am the weapon,” the villain said, looking at the ground, afraid the hero could make out any emotion on their face if they gazed at them. Some wounds never healed fully, they supposed. Their scars were throbbing.
“You are a weapon?” The hero was sniffing out every potential threat for the city like a police dog. Even if that was a person. They were ultimately the personification of justice. So, the villain didn’t take this personal.
“No. I mean, technically, yes. But not literally — it’s complicated.” The hero crossed their arms, looking indifferent when the villain stumbled over their own words.
“I can’t do much, I’m sorry. The supervillain is legally allowed to spend their holidays or whatever here as long as they don’t do anything illegal,” the hero said, tipping their finger on the table.
“But they are a criminal,” the villain argued, voice shaking. The villain felt that desperation again, this helplessness was overcoming them anew, tearing little bits off of them, eating them raw. No one was on their side and no one was coming to help them.
“They haven’t committed any crimes here.”
“They are torturing people,” the villain reminded them.
“It’s out of my hands. The agency in their hometown has to take care of that. I can get in contact with them if you want me to. But like I said, I am sorry. Truly.” Ludicrous, how the hero almost sounded sincere.
“They own their hometown. I don’t think anyone will pick up the phone and fulfil your wishes.” The villain let out a dead huff which could’ve been a laugh if the circumstances were less serious.
“You are very funny,” the hero said deadpanned.
Silence haunted the room. Only the ticking of the hero’s electrical clock was filling it and reminded the villain of their own personal doomsday.
“I don’t think I can do much for you without evidence,” the hero said eventually.
“But I am the evidence. I’ve seen those things, I have experienced them.”
The hero closed their eyes, drawing a breath.
“I cannot put you into witness protection when you are not providing testimonial evidence during or after a trial. No one sues the supervillain at the moment. Maybe you can take the first step,” the hero suggested. The villain would’ve laughed out loud, this time for real. What the hero was proposing was preposterous.
“You expect me to sue a supervillain? My head would roll off my shoulders before I could step into court.” The hero held up a demanding hand to silence the villain.
“I don’t expect you to sue the supervillain. But I am not above the law. And neither are you. I expect you to follow the principles which were established by society. There are rules in this world, even for those who were gifted with more power than others at birth.”
The villain threw their hands up, ready to let out their anger somehow.
“This is ridiculous. They will drag me back and continue to torture the living shit out of me. This has nothing to do with justice.”
Standing up, the hero stared them down as if they had summoned all the power of the agency and with that, the power of the whole city.
“Then I suppose you start clearing your own name and join the agency. Gifted people are always welcomed here, even villains. That’s the only thing I can do for you.”

Oh my god, they were roommates…
//
“The rental market in Detroit is absolute shit! How dare these bloodsuckers charge such high rates for the most under-developed properties! This city’s going to the dogs!”
“Uh-huh.”
“You have to pay your own weight in gold just to live in a shoebox for a year. Nonsense!”
“Uh…”
“Are you even listening to me, Tina!
Tina?
Goddamnit Tina!”
Gavin thumped his fist on her desk, but Tina’s eyes barely flicked up from her phone.
“Oh my god, you sound like my grandpa…”
Gavin turned red and his brain buzzed with a thousand colourful retorts. He was just about to pick one when Tina stopped scrolling and turned her phone screen towards him.
CYBERSCALIA @ NEW JERICHO
The suburban paradise for executive androids and humans alike. Located 25 minutes drive from downtown Detroit, with a full amenities.
Gavin’s eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. He balked at her.
“You’re joking? How could I possibly…?”
“Get with the times, boomer…”
Tina lazily skimmed her thumb over the screen. The webpage promised plenty of greenery, good infrastructure and modest but spacious rooms. The extremely reasonable price tag was Gavin’s dream come true. He’d spent weeks apartment hunting in the wake of an early lease termination by his cantankerous landlord. Gavin knew he’d never find a better deal.
“Shit, this is so good, T! Why the phck does it have to be in that- that place!”
His friend arched a sceptical eyebrow.
“What place?”
“The Tincan ghetto!”
Tina smacked him on the arm. None too gently.
“It’s subsided public housing located in an android-friendly estate… because they’re the ones that need it most right now. And frankly, you seem to be in just as much need, so you should really get off that high horse.”
“Fine, fine. You’re right. I should seriously consider this place, even if my neighbours are gonna have more in common with my car than me. But damn, it seems a little too good to be true. There’s probably some fine print, hidden costs that’ll come out later.”
“Hmm… let’s see…”
Tina scrolled further and then let out a half-laugh. She held her phone up again.
“Nothing shady about the rates, but there is something you should know…”
At the risk of being called old again, Gavin squinted at the screen and read aloud.
“Bearing in mind the founding principles of New Jericho, all human occupants may only apply for tenancy in co-habitation with at least one android citizen of the United States of- JESUS PHCKING CHRIST! Absolutely not! I am not going to live with a plastic prick!”
//
Gavin had to get through half a bottle of wine before he could bear to scroll through the rental listings. Unlike other humans who had happily moved into New Jericho with their android friends or partners, he had to find an android who was also looking for a flatmate.
Some listings came from ardent supporters of Markus. These were the androids who wanted to ease the post-revolution transition by reaching out to humans. Some listings were put up by the android equivalent of frat boys. These individuals were clearly looking for someone on the fringes of human society, someone who could show them a good (if not illegal) time.
Other posts came from eccentric androids who craved company but had likely been rejected by their own kind. Gavin felt a strange twisting sensation, almost like pity, when he came across a post written entirely in third person by someone called Ralph.
He had almost given up hope when he came across a simple little listing for a two bedroom apartment in Cyberscalia.
RK900 #313 248 317 - 87: Seeking a neat, self-sufficient co-renter. Human or android, no preference. I spend most of my time working and will be out of your way for the better part of the day. I only ask for silence during my nighttime stasis cycles, timely payment of dues and upkeep of cleanliness.
Gavin sighed in relief.
//
“Your room is the first door on the left, mine is the second. The bathroom, laundry and kitchenette are shared, as is the living room. I scarcely find use for the latter, so you need not worry about my intruding on any of your social gatherings, or vice versa. As long as you adhere to the terms of the agreement, our paths will not cross much.”
The tall, stiff-necked android dropped a set of keys, both mechanical and digital, into Gavin’s open palm.
“Er thanks.. RK… sorry I forgot your full model number…”
“You may call me Nines. Although, I’d rather you didn’t call me much of anything. Now if you’ll excuse me.”
In a swish of black fabric, the android turned on his heel and disappeared into his room. Two rapid clicks indicated the shutting and locking of his door.
Gavin sighed and looked around the open-plan living room. It was nothing fancy, but it was far beyond any of the other properties he’d viewed in weeks of unsuccessful house-hunting.
He sat down on the simple black couch with a huff and contemplated his situation. He’d ended up where he’d truly never expected to go, but objectively speaking, things were good… barring the high-handed manner of his robot flatmate, but who gave a shit about that.
He pulled out his phone to text Tina his thanks.
//
“I can’t! I refuse to! It is a violation of my personal ethics and I will simply not take this assignment any further. Good day to you sir!”
Gavin nearly dropped his bowl of cereal one morning when his roommate burst out of his door and rushed into the open balcony.
He hadn’t seen Nines in days, which was perfectly normal. The android came and went at odd hours and made hardly any noise. It was almost like living alone. The only reminder of Nines’ presence was the sight of several dark shirts and trousers regularly hung out to dry on the rack above the washing machine.
Gavin set his bowl down and watched the android tightly grip the bars of the railing and take several unnecessary breaths to calm down. He’d seen deviant colleagues express emotion many times before, but this was the first time he witnessed such a potent mixture of rage and sorrow from a synthetic being.
Out of empathy, but mostly curiosity, Gavin approached cautiously.
“Hey Nines… is everything alright…?”
There was no response for several moments. Then Nines turned around with a grimace and hands held upwards in a placating gesture.
“I apologise for the disturbance. It was hypocritical of me to disrupt the very peace and quiet I demand of you.”
“Uh… no worries…? Are you okay?”
There was a flash of steel blue eyes.
Gavin kicked himself mentally as he realised too late that he’d broached uncharted territory. Their interactions didn’t extend beyond curt nods on the rare occasion they found each other in the same space. It was almost as if Nines engineered the lack of contact, which wouldn’t surprise Gavin at all if it were the case.
“I’m fine. I merely experienced some frustration with my work.”
Perhaps it was boredom, perhaps it was his usual lack of self-preservative instinct… Gavin threw caution to the winds.
“What do you actually do?”
Nines’ expression remained stoic but his LED went through a spectacular series of colours and flashes. His next words were reluctant.
“I’m a private investigator.”
“Oh shit! I’m actually a cop.”
Gavin pointed dumbly at himself and then let his hand drop when he saw absolutely no surprise cross the android’s face.
“I know. That’s why I let you stay with me.”
“For safety?”
“Certainly not for your fashion sense.”
“Wow okay, I didn’t think I’d be much protection for a big scary droid like you.”
Nines hummed dismissively and started to move out of the balcony, body language fully indicating the end of the conversation.
Unable to help himself for some strange reason, Gavin blurted out another ill-advised question.
“What pissed you off so much?”
Nines paused halfway through side-stepping the human. A thrill went through Gavin at the shards of ice he observed for the first time up close in Nines’ irises.
“If I tell you, will you promise to stop asking pointless questions?”
Gavin nodded earnestly, and frankly… rather foolishly.
“I helped a client gather evidence to initiate divorce proceedings on the grounds of infidelity. I provided ample photo and video evidence for his lawyers to work with. Now they want me to keep following the spouse to capture more details that could gear any future settlement in his favour.”
“So what’s your problem?”
“They’re offering me an incredible amount of cash to follow her 24/7. To stake out her workplace, her gym, her parent’s home. They want me to crouch under the window of the bedroom where her children sleep. I can do a lot of things, but not that. It’s deeply insulting that they even asked. That’s why I was so… pissed.”
Nines slipped past and was nearly back to his bedroom when Gavin spoke.
“I respect that.”
“I didn’t ask.”
“I know, but for real though, I think ethics are important in our line of work. Not just because of we need morals or a sense of right or wrong blablabla, but because we need… clarity.”
Silence floated through the hallway as Nines paused with a hand on his doorframe.
“Clarity?”
“Yeah, like a sense of direction. We don’t just take cases right-left-centre because they make us money. I mean, we could, and people do… but they never become specialists or experts of any kind. You gotta strategise if you want a career. Ethics helps with that. I think…”
Gavin wasn’t sure what made him say any of that. He was neither one for small talk, nor a man of many words… but something about Nines prompted that unusual level of introspective discourse.
“Sorry that was weird. Never mind.”
“That was actually… very astute.”
Their eyes met and Gavin could’ve sworn he saw the hint of a smile.
“It’s good to see that not all humans are as one-dimensional as I thought.”
The door clicked shut, but there was no locking sound.
//
Since the morning of Nines’ uncharacteristic outburst, the frequency of their encounters in the common areas of the apartment increased. Wordless nods became hellos, and hellos eventually became full sentences.
Not that he’d admit it, Gavin actually looked forward to enquiring about the android’s day and the cases he was working on. It was utterly fascinating to hear about legal investigations without the constraints of police procedure.
For his part, Nines would share as much as he had the patience to, before disappearing into the confines of his room. Though the time he spent outside steadily increased every day.
Another morning, while Gavin was making his coffee, Nines emerged from his room, still in his pyjamas and looking as livid as he had the time before. Gavin had never seen him in anything but crisply ironed businesswear. Before he could voice any concern, Nines stiffly asked Gavin to keep a lookout for a homicide suspect.
He nodded and immediately reached for his phone to text the sergeant on duty at his station. By midday, there was an arrest.
That evening, when Gavin settled in front of the TV with his usual glass of wine, he heard the familiar sound of Nines’ door opening. The couch dipped beside him.
“Thank you.”
“Just did my job. I should thank you for the tip.”
“Hmm.”
Gavin chanced a glance at his roommate, and found him looking right back.
“What?”
“Nothing… I just had the realisation that much of my work is impotent without the authority and means to take any kind of action.”
The sitcom began to play and Gavin thumbed the remote to reduce the volume.
“Takes all kinds to keep the streets clean. PIs can do things cops can’t. We rely on guys like you for intel all the time, you know.”
“I know.”
No words were exchanged for a while thereafter. Gavin found himself unable to focus on the TV show with all the brooding energy emanating from his right.
“If you feel like being a private eye doesn’t make enough of a difference, then why didn’t you… um… you know…”
“Join law enforcement?”
“Yup.”
“Plenty of my fellow androids have done so. I know for a fact that my predecessor model chose to remain there. You might know him.”
“Connor? Yes. Very annoying.”
“He is, isn’t he?”
“Totally. But why didn’t you join too? You’d be brilliant on the Force.”
“My skillset is certainly well-suited, but I didn’t want to become another puppet of the state.”
Gavin really didn’t know what to say to that. He nodded uncertainly and looked back at the television. He wasn’t sure why Nines was suddenly this social.
“What are you… watching?”
Androids could scan and detect just about anything in the world, so there had to be something else to the question. Gavin, strangely, was happy to oblige.
//
Nines made an appearance every evening, without fail. He would sit through the TV shows if they were of interest, or he would bring his case material and notes to the coffee table to work in silence beside Gavin.
Sometimes Gavin liked to work on jigsaw puzzles on the dining table. Nines would sit beside him, pretending to read a paperback novel, but actually scanning the puzzle and passing the right pieces over from time to time.
Against all odds, an evening ritual and a tentative friendship developed. It was simple, but it was warm. Comfortable. Like nothing Gavin had ever had before, even with humans.
//
He awoke one morning with a slight crick in his neck but the feeling of being very well-rested.
His eyes flickered open and fell upon the window. Familiar greenery came into view… but wait… had everything slightly shifted to the left? And was that the New Jericho Capitol building? He couldn’t see that from his room! There was a tree in the way! A tree that was now a few feet away from where it used to be.
Gavin sat up in alarm as he realised that he was not in his own bed. His heart flew into his throat as Nines walked through the open doorway. Shirtless and carrying a mug of blue liquid.
“Oh good, you’re up.”
“Wha-what happened!?”
Nines frowned and sat down on the edge of the bed. He set the mug on the floor and pulled on a plain black t-shirt.
“You passed out on the couch last night. I think you finished a whole bottle waiting up for me? Sorry, I was out working later than expected.”
Gavin looked down and sighed in relief as he found all his clothes still on him.
“I didn’t want you to injure yourself sleeping at an odd angle so I brought you here. Your door was locked.”
“You could’ve easily opened it.”
“Yes, but that would’ve been an invasion of privacy. I reserve that for working hours alone.”
Gavin looked deep into the sparkling blue eyes and as usual found no trace of humour.
“Thanks…”
“Don’t mention it. Now get out. You’re ruining my silk sheets.”
//
Against his best efforts, Gavin could not keep the thought of being carried to bed and tucked in safely out of his mind. How many years had it been? Since something like that had been even remotely possible for him?
He knew that Nines was just being kind in his own pragmatic little way… but Gavin found that he wouldn’t mind the prospect of waking up in the android’s bed in a wildly different context.
He realised he had it bad when Tina caught him smiling to himself at work one day.
“Why so happy?”
“Oh… nothing. Just remembered something my roommate did… He’s a… funny guy.”
“Huh. Well, look at you getting along so well with androids.”
“Android. Singular. Just him.”
“Wowwww… he sounds special.”
//
“Who did this?”
“Gavin, the damage is merely superficial-”
“Who phcking did this??!”
He reached forward and gingerly touched Nines’ split cheek. His synth skin was smeared with blue blood and glitching in and out. Nines winced at the contact.
“Shit, sorry. That must hurt like a bitch.”
“Androids do not feel pain.”
“Bullshit.”
“I’m merely experiencing a surge in sensory input wherever my chassis is exposed. I’m fine.”
“Shut up and give me your first aid kit or whatever toolbox equivalent you tincans have.”
A shade of embarrassment appeared over the android’s features.
“I… actually don’t have one. I didn’t think I’d ever need it.”
“Didn’t think anyone could kick your ass, huh?”
“No… I didn’t think anyone would ever spot my hiding place.”
“Huh. How’d that happen?”
Nines’ eyes dipped, but as always, he answered the question.
“I was… distracted.”
Something in the air solidified and both of them felt it. Gavin cleared his throat and slapped his knees like an old man about to stand up.
“Right. Let me go check if the neighbours have anything that might help with your face.”
//
“So who’s this dapper young gent you’ve brought to the party, Gavin?”
“Er… he’s my uh… roommate.”
Captain Fowler nodded and winked.
“That’s what they called it in my day too.”
Nines shifted beside Gavin and cleared his throat.
“He’s a PI. But I think he’s wasting his talent taking pictures of cheating spouses. He’s quite interested in police work. Maybe we could get him to assist on a couple cases now and then?”
Fowler put down his drink and extended a warm hand to Nines.
//
“Oh thank RA9!”
Nines came running to the cluster of police cars and enveloped him in a giant hug. Gavin laughed as he patted him weakly on the back.
“Watch the ribs, big guy.”
“I was so worried.”
“Why? Your info was good. No chance of error.”
“I meant about you.”
Gavin pulled back and regarded Nines with confusion. The flashing red and blue lights of the cars made it hard to read his LED.
“Why?”
“I can’t believe you have to ask.”
The android pulled him into a bruising kiss. The officers standing nearby broke into wolf-whistles and applause.
“What the-”
“Oh I take full credit for that, sir.”
Fowler glanced at Tina.
“The case, Chen?”
“Oh of course. I solved the whole thing. But I mean that specifically.”
She waved a hand in Gavin and Nines’ direction. The two held each other tightly and seemed unlikely to come up for air anytime soon.
“Like I helped Gav find an affordable place in New Jericho and then he met this handsome investigator droid and they were roommates.”
“Oh my god, they were roommates…”
“Yeah legit.”

Finally settling things with the Ebott City Council filled Frisk with DETERMINATION.
File Saved.
“...and so we’re in agreement.” Chief Councilor Mitchell, at last, decreed. “The previously commercially zoned property on the western outskirts of Ebott City shall be rezoned for construction of ‘Monster Town’. There the monsters will reside while we work on integrating them into modern society. While the construction is underway, the City Council will put them up at the Villa Visa Hotel in the town’s center, where the people will have the opportunity to meet and become used to the monsters. During this adjustment period monsters cannot travel over state lines, possess or own firearms, or vote.”
Toriel, to Frisk’s side, nodded, and Asgore on their other side nodded as well. The entire city council, the very nervous looking mayor, mom and dad, and Undyne and the General, were all present as they finally conducted a proper summit to decide the fate of the monsters. Their first order of business had been to declare the monsters ‘not guilty’ of the crimes they’d been accused of, aided primarily by Chief Mitchell’s testimony, and then they’d moved forward to talking about the first step of their integration plans: Giving monsters their own district, while allowing open transportation between the city and Monster Town. It wasn’t perfect – the travel restrictions and lack of rights weren’t ideal – but for the time being these were concessions the monsters had been willing to make, and at this point they all were eager to get started with rebuilding their lives.
“Th-then are there any other objections before we sign our contract?” The mayor asked shakily. Frisk politely raised their hand.
Nobody on the council seemed pleased to see that the young ambassador had an issue to adjust, but Chief Mitchell politely nodded as he gave the floor to Frisk. They stood up, and putting on their best ‘good kid’ voice, made their request. “I’d like to add an addendum to the treaty,” They smiled brightly as they spoke, “Which states that the city council, mayor, king, queen, and myself will reconvene in a year’s time and adjust restrictions and rights as necessary considering the progress we’ve made, and that we reconvene every year until the monsters are considered legal citizens of the country.”
One of the councilwoman openly scoffed. “Every year?! Child, don’t you think that’s moving a little too quickly-”
“I think,” Chief Councilor Mitchell crossed his arms as he spoke, “that it’s a marvelous idea. A situation this delicate needs constant monitoring, and we’ll be able to adjust to the needs of both monsters and humans as we move forward.”
Turning red, the councilwoman immediately backpedaled. “Ah, right, that’s an excellent point, Chief Mitchell! In fact, perhaps we should meet every six months!”
Standing on the floor between the human council and monsters, Frisk was the only one close enough to hear the Chief Councilor mumble, “Kiss ass,” to himself as he shuffled the papers in his hands. It was a miraculous show of their DETERMINATION that Frisk didn’t burst into giggles then and there. He then spoke louder as he addressed Mister Galeforce. “Right, General. Have you and Captain Undyne worked out a plan for peace keeping?”
“We have-” The General began. Whatever he was about to say was interrupted by Undyne as she leapt so high she nearly hit the roof of the tent, and then landed feet first on the monsters’ table. Frankly, Frisk was astonished that it didn’t break under weight.
Undyne smiled her shark like smile at the council. “We have come up with an AMAZING plan of attack! Listen to this: A joint monster-human defense force in Ebott City! One human! One monster! Teams of two patrolling the Monster Town! The human protects from other humans, carries arms, and deters other humans from committing crimes! The monster protects against magic, teaches the human about dodging and SPARING and other stuff, and communicates with other monsters! This combined force of human and monster soldiers will be responsible for keeping the peace during the integration period! Pretty great plan, huh?” She crossed her arms, looking way too pleased with herself. “Naturally, I’ll be in charge, with my new pal Galeforce here. We’re going to make people get along OR ELSE!”
The entire room went silent, staring up at her.
It was Mister Mitchell who cleared his throat and calmly asked, “Captain, could you please get off the table? I don’t know how monster politics works, but in human politics we do not stand on furniture.”
“This is uncommon in monster culture, as well.” Asgore assured them, smiling sheepishly.
Undyne grumbled as she got off the table, mumbling something about showmanship. General Galeforce took the reigns of the presentation, then. “You don’t have to worry about finding human volunteers for this program here in Ebott.” The General assured them. “With the Toppat Clan no longer a threat, my team will be officially disbanded. I’ve been reassigned to keep an eye on the monsters, and quite a few of my subordinates have requested to stay with the monster friends they’ve made as well. Our groups have gotten surprisingly close in the last few days.”
The Mayor twiddled his thumbs, not looking at the group as he spoke up, “W-well, if the federal government is paying for it then I have no complaints… so, if there are no objections… I would say we sign these papers, and uh, get back to Ebott City. We’ve been gone for FAR too long, and there’s a LOT of work ahead preparing the people for the monsters’ return.” He tugged at his collar as he talked.
A few minutes of signing later, Frisk walked out of the tent hand in hand with their parents, while the majority of the council returned to their tents to pack up. Toriel smiled and bopped Frisk on the nose. “You did so well, my child. I’m so proud of you.”
“As am I.” The three turned around to see that Council Mitchell had followed them. Tucked under his arm was a gray duffel bag. “You were firm, you picked your most important points and argued them well, you made concessions where necessary… I say, Ambassador, you sounded like a real politician in there.”
Frisk wrinkled their nose, unsure if that was a compliment or not. “Um, thanks, I guess?” A few seconds of uneasy silence passed, and then Frisk said something that had been bugging them for a little while now. “So, Mayor Hartford… he’s the one who sent Ellie after me, isn’t he?”
“Hmph.” The Chief Councilor pressed his lips into a thin grimace. “I’m not surprised you noticed. That man made no effort to hide his guilt, I could practically smell it. Or maybe that was his nervous sweat.” Mitchell shrugged. “But don’t you worry your little head about it. My first task when I return to the city will be to hire a PI and find solid evidence of his involvement with the assassination attempt. Rest assured, he will face the full legal consequences of his actions.”
Toriel’s grip on Frisk’s shoulder had tightened just a bit as they spoke. “Thank you, Chief Councilor.”
“I need to head back now, but before I do, I did manage to get my hands on this.” Mitchell handed the bag he’d been carrying to Frisk. “You’ve gone far too long without a change of clothing. Earlier this morning I was allowed the chance to contact my wife, and once I told her about you she insisted on packing up some of our children’s old clothes for you and driving them out here. A mix of genders, so I’m sure there’s something you’ll be comfortable wearing.”
Finally! Fresh clothing! Once upon a time the striped shirt and jean combination Frisk wore had been soft and comfortable, but nearly a week straight of wearing the same thing all the time they’d lost their shine. Their shirt was stiff and dry, and their pants were thinning and tearing at all the seams. Frisk took the bag and gave a grateful and sincere, “Thank you!” To the Chief Councilor.
He smiled and nodded politely. “I look forward to seeing your career flourish, Ambassador Dreemurr. Take care of yourself.”
--------------------
Frisk took an immediate liking to their new clothing. The Chief Councilor’s wife had been incredibly generous, gifting Frisk with a variety of clothing suited for boys, girls, and everyone in between. One of the councilor’s own children was non-binary as well, they remembered. It was fortunate for Frisk that they were already equipped to deal with this issue. In the end Frisk decided to go simple, with a pair of black jeans that fit just right and a blue and white striped sleeveless hoodie that was a little oversized, but Frisk found it soft and incredibly comfortable. They stepped out into the sun, stretched their limbs, and headed out to do their rounds.
“I’ll be back before sundown!” They called to their mother, waving back at her as they ran off.
Toriel smiled and waved back. Though her expression was still marred somewhat by her unease, she issued no complaints as Frisk headed off. Between Henry’s recovery and the Summit, Frisk, their parents, Chara, and Flowey had a serious conversation concerning Frisk’s terrible tendency to run off and cause trouble when things got tense. They debated boundaries and curfews for a little while, and had ultimately come to the conclusion that, as long as Toriel knew where Frisk was, it was okay for them to roam the camp freely now that the danger had passed, but if their plans diverged, they were to immediately call their mother and report in.
Having a real, actual family, one that cared about them and wanted them to be safe, was still very new to Frisk, but it was growing on them very quickly.
Their was a spring in Frisk’s step as they skipped across the camp, watching as monsters and humans began tearing down the campsite. One human sat on Lesser Dog’s head while another scratched his neck, giving the human enough height to reach the top of a tent, which was a pretty creative use of Lesser Dog’s abilities in Frisk’s opinion. Gerson and Konrad had teamed up to compare stories and legends, trying half-seriously to figure out which parts of their individual legends matched up and which parts differed. They looked like they were enjoying themselves.
It had only taken a few days and a world threatening crisis, but it looked like the soldiers and the monsters had really come together. It gave Frisk HOPE. They doubted the rest of the humans would come around quite as quickly, but Frisk felt like this was a sign of good things to come.
The young ambassador continued to stroll around the camp cheerfully, checking in on both monsters and humans. They went on like this until a familiar voice boomed over the camp. Nearby, standing over a fire pit, Papyrus was moving a non-burnt pan back and forth over an open flame. Beside him was a stack of flat-looking pancakes. Rupert Price and Dave Panpa were also there, the former grinning and waving at the ambassador as they approached. They had a fresh change of clothing, aside from Rupert still wearing Dave’s hat and Dave now wearing Rupert’s, and they each had a plate stacked with Papyrus’ pancakes.
They were holding hands. Frisk suppressed a squeal as they ran up and tackled Papyrus in a hug.
“GREETINGS, MY TINIEST HUMAN FRIEND!” Papyrus smiled and held Frisk with one arm, the other gripping the spatula as he flipped the pancake in a non-burnt pan. “WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN ME AND MY OTHER HUMAN FRIENDS FOR PANCAKES?” Frisk nodded and plopped themselves down next to the new couple.
Rupert nodded politely at them as they sat down. He was smiling, looking more relaxed than Frisk had ever seen the stern soldier. “Good afternoon, ambassador.” He greeted pleasantly.
“Hi!” Dave waved with his free hand. Given everything that had happened, he seemed rather chipper.
“Hey, guys.” The little ambassador responded as they joined the two on their seat. They then glanced down to the pair of conjoined hands that sat between the two men and couldn’t help but smile widely. “So… I see you guys worked things out, huh?”
“Worked things out?” Dave asked, his expression diminishing in his confusion.
It took Mister Price a moment to understand what Frisk was talking about. “Oh, right. We had a big fight before you got your soul stolen.”
Frisk scrunched up their nose as their surprisingly indifferent responses. “You forgot?”
“HONESTLY, ALL THAT ANGST OVER HOW YOU FELT AND YOU DIDN’T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT?” Papyrus scolded them both in about the same manner that he scolded his brother Sans.
Dave sheepishly rubbed the back of his head with a chuckle that almost sounded nervous. “Haha, yeah, I forgot about that… after everything I guess I was just happy to be back with him… I’m sorry, Rupert. I was being really hard on you.”
“’At’s okay. I deserved it.” Rupert sighed, his shoulders sagging with the weight of his previous actions. “There’s… some stuff I gotta tell ya. Later. But fer now, I’m just… I’m just so glad yer back.” Rupert wrapped his arms around the other man’s waist and pulled him closer, nuzzling into his neck and making Dave giggle sweetly.
Frisk couldn’t help but melt at the sight, covering their smile with their hands to help contain the excited squealing that wished to escape. “Oh my god. They look so happy…”
“THEY DO, DON’T THEY?” Papyrus openly cooed, abandoning his pancake flipping in favour of hopping over to clasp both Dave and Rupert on the back. “THESE TWO ADORABLE LITTLE HUMANS ARE NOW MY OFFICIAL ‘OH-TEE-PEE’!”
This declaration had Rupert and Dave both immediately turning red. Rupert’s palm smacked into his own face; it was unclear to Frisk whether this was an act of frustration or embarrassment. “Fer the love of… I regret tellin’ ya wot that means.” Oblivious, perhaps, of how he’d thoroughly flustered the both of them, Papyrus returned to his pancake flipping.
Despite his own obvious abashment, Dave flashed Rupert a sideways smile. “How did YOU know what it means…?”
The red on Rupert’s face spread and darkened. “Shut yer mouth, Dave.”
The purple-eyed man took no offense to that and instead just laughed, and even though he still looked annoyed, the soldier at Dave’s side couldn’t help but smile at his contagious joy. The two of them just radiated love and optimism. It made Frisk’s insides feel full to bursting from second-hand elation. They’d been through a lot. They deserved to finally be happy together.
“Well, it was nice to meet you both.” Frisk told them. Papyrus passed them a plate of pancakes and they took a fork to one. A little bland, but already miles better than his early attempts at spaghetti. The skeleton himself grabbed a plate and sat on the other side of Rupert and Dave. “I’m going to miss you when you go.”
“Uh, actually…” Rupert scratched the back of his head. “We won’t exactly… be going far…? I, um,” After a reassuring thumbs up from Dave, Rupert continued. “I’m going to be signing on to the joint human-monster defense force Galeforce and Undyne are putting together.”
Hearing that stunned Frisk, and they blurted out, “Really?!” Without much thought.
“Really.” The soldier bashfully scratched the back of his head as he answered. “I messed up earlier, but the monsters… they ain’t so bad. An’ there’s a lotta people in Ebott who probably think like I did. They’re gonna need all the ‘elp they can get. An’ besides, ‘ow can I just leave my new best buddy ‘ere?” He hooked an arm around Papyrus’ shoulders.
“And I’m going to be staying with Rupert.” Dave informed Frisk with a friendly smile. “There’s, uh, not really much for me back in Red Mesa, and after almost a year as a Toppat prisoner my work history is screwed. But Galeforce said they’ll need help with all sorts of things while building Monster Town, so I’m hoping I can find work there.”
“Oh, I can talk to my mom and dad for you!” Frisk exclaimed. “I’m sure there’s tons for you to help with!”
“That would be great, Ambassador Frisk.” Dave answered. “I’m sorry to trouble you.”
“It’s no bother at all!” They quickly assured the man. “Mom and dad will be happy to help you out! After all, you and Mister Rupert are part of the community now!” They looked back over to Rupert, who was grinning ear to ear. “So, do you know who your partner’s going to be yet?”
“Not yet.” He responded. “I’m kind of curious who they’ll pair me up with.”
“OH!” Papyrus’ eyes suddenly let up as he was struck by an idea. “PERHAPS I SHOULD ASK UNDYNE TO SIGN ME UP! AS HER PRIZED PUPIL, THERE IS SO MUCH I COULD TEACH NEWCOMERS SUCH AS YOURSELF. AND WE’D BE ABLE TO HANG OUT ALL THE TIME!”
“Hey, yeah!” Rupert seemed just as tickled by the idea as Papyrus was. “That would be awesome!” He extended out one arm, and after a moment of processing Papyrus’ face lit up like a Giftmas tree as he reached out and gripped Rupert’s hand firmly.
The sight of a new beginning for monsters and humans filled Frisk with DETERMINATION.

Upon approaching the medical tent near the edge of the camp, the first thing Frisk heard was a loud crash. They jumped, not expecting the sudden sound, and then immediately raced in to check on everyone inside. This time, however, the only people present were Alphys and Undyne, who were scrambling to clean up the heaps of tattered, water-damaged manga that had spilled onto the ground, along with her heavily damaged bookcase. Neither were hurt, so Frisk simply shook their head and silently joined them in cleaning up their mess.
When Frisk’s little arm stretched out to help gather the fallen literature, Alphys jumped back in shock, making a little ‘eep!’ noise as she did. When she realized it was only their little human friend, she hunched awkwardly and rubbed the back of her neck. “O-Oh, Frisk! It’s good to see you! U-um, please don’t sneak up on me like that.”
“Sorry.” They apologized with a smile.
“I was just telling Alphys about our meeting with the Council.” Undyne told Frisk, her arms piled high with manga books. Frisk couldn’t see her face over the large stack of them.
“Okay, but what happened to the bookshelf?” Asked the young human.
Both Alphys and Undyne glanced at each other, as if having a silent conversation with their eyes, and then Alphys turned back to Frisk. She twiddled her thumbs as she told Frisk, “Well, um, during the story, Undyne got a little… excited. And then…”
“And then the bookshelf fell over. Entirely on it’s own.” Interrupted the fish woman, her eyes narrowed at Frisk in a stern glare. The tone of her voice was flat and to the point, which was so unlike Undyne that Frisk knew, immediately, that the bookshelf had not fallen over on it’s own.
Still they nodded indulgently at their friend, accepting her answer without question, and then asked, “So are you guys ready to get out of here?”
“Aw, heck YEAH!” Undyne cheered. “No offense to the General, but this place is a total STY! I can’t wait to have a real working shower again!”
“A-and a real bed…” Alphys’ shoulders relaxed just thinking about it. “Ooh, it feels like it’s been forever since I’ve had a proper mattress. I can’t wait to see that hotel.” She sighed dreamily at the thought of it.
Now that they were thinking about it, Frisk’s shoulders were pretty sore. A real bed sounded heavenly. Still, they pushed this thought to the back of their mind and set the books on a nearby table, where several magic boxes had been placed in preparation for storing Alphys’ items. It wouldn’t take too long for the lot of them to get packed, but Frisk still asked, “Do you guys need any help getting everything sorted?”
Undyne shook her head. “Nah, don’t worry about us, squirt. You’ve already done plenty for us.”
“I might ask for your help getting my new lab set up once Monster Town is built… if you’re up to it, of course.” Alphys added.
Undyne ‘gently’ shoulder checked Alphys, which had her girlfriend stumbling and rubbing her arm. “What, you don’t think your gorgeous lab assistant can get you all set up?” She teased playfully.
Alphys blushed deeply, “Oh, no, no, it’s not that! You could definitely do it! I’d just like to get my research up and running as soon as possible!” The doctor immediately reassured Undyne, who only smirked and booped her red nose.
“Oh?” Frisk leaned forward on the table, their little hands tapping rhythmically against the wood as they focused all their attention on Alphys. After the disastrous results of her DT experiments, the good doctor hadn’t seemed fond of the idea of returning to active research. But the dinosaur standing before her looked positively excited by the idea, in stark contrast to the nervous woman who’d greeted Frisk back in Hotland. “What’ll you be working on? Magical technology? Deciphering ancient texts about human magic? Making Mettaton cool new features?”
“Um…” Alphys removed her hands from her still red face, managing to smile at Frisk’s questions. “Not exactly? I mean, I’ll probably do that stuff too, but my main focus will be on human souls. Helping Charles and Henry and Mister Copperbottom was really inspiring! It made me feel like… like I could actually do someone some good, you know? Like, even though I screwed up with the amalgamates, my skills and knowledge were able to SAVE someone! And I-I want to keep helping people! So I’m going to be focusing my research on human and monster souls, so I can help people like Henry and Mister Copperbottom with magically based ailments.”
“You also have to get Chara and Charles’ bodies up and running.” Undyne reminded her girlfriend as she carried another armful of items over to their Box.
Alphys squirmed bashfully. “Right, almost forgot about that. As ghosts, they have a lot of advantages over normal humans, but there’s a lot of stuff they can’t do too. Chara can’t even touch their family, and Charles wouldn’t be able to return to his military career. I’m not even sure he could fly a helicopter like this.”
“But my girl Alphys is going to build them some kick butt android bodies!” Undyne declared with one of her signature smirks. “When she’s done with them, they’re going to look more awesome than they did when they were alive!” The Captain performed a few phantom punches to get the adrenaline out. “If anything like Gaster shows up again, they’re going to make mincemeat out of him!”
Just the name made Frisk shiver. The brief time they’d spent in the Void under his care was… unpleasant, to say the least. Not to mention the harm he’d caused everybody else. “Hey, Alphys.” They asked, and the tone of their voice had both of their friends going from carefree to on edge in a second. “You don’t… really think we’ll see anything like Gaster again, do you?”
Her expression turned sad and sympathetic in an instant. “Oh, Frisk…” She sighed, shuffling over to bring the small child into a hug. “I can’t say for sure that we’ll never run into a horror like that again. But I’m pretty sure we can face it down together. Just like we have before!” Alphys smiled reassuringly, though it quickly faded into a puzzled expression. “Er, wait, I wasn’t there. What am I talking about…?”
Right, Frisk recalled, giggling as they sniffled in Alphys’ embrace, which were quickly joined by Undyne’s strong arms wrapping around them both and lifting them up. Even if nobody else remembered the encounter with Asriel, the God of Absolute Hyperdeath, they had all been there with Frisk, only a CALL FOR HELP away. No matter what they faced, they’d never truly be alone again.
The thought filled them with DETERMINATION.

--------------------
As Frisk moved throughout the camp they stopped to help their friends, from aiding Monster Kid with packing to giving a rousing applause to Mettaton and his cousins’ live performance. It was as they rounded a corner in a deserted part of the camp that Frisk spotted a familiar speck of red in the distance. The last time they’d seen Chara had been just before the Summit, when they’d gone back to mom and dad with the joyous news that Henry had survived. After that had been a whirlwind rush of activity as Frisk, Toriel, and Asgore had gotten all of their things together for the Council.
It only took taking a few steps closer for Frisk to notice that Chara wasn’t alone. They sat on the ground, and sprouted from the ground close enough to speak relatively quietly, but not close enough to make accidental contact, was Flowey. His petals were drooping, but the expression on his face wasn’t sad at all. It was serious, more serious than Frisk had ever seen him before. At the distance they were at, Frisk couldn’t overhear their conversation, but they had a few reasonable guesses on what the two could be talking about. The biggest thing for Frisk, though, was that there was no shouting. No anger, or fear. Just two siblings, sitting side by side, talking. Frisk grinned and skipped over to join their siblings.
A hand caught their sleeve before they could get more than a step closer. “hey kiddo. hows it hanging?”
“Hi, Sans.” Frisk greeted. Their eyes briefly flickered towards their siblings before returning to the skeleton in front of them. “Um, was there something you needed? I don’t mean to be rude, but I want to see how Flowey and Chara are doing.”
“i think they need a moment to themselves.” Sans informed them instead, then held out his hand for Frisk to take instead. “cmon, youve been running yourself ragged and ive packed two whole boxes. we both deserve to take a little break, dont you think?”
Frisk stared down at the hand being offered to them, then back over to Chara and Flowey, then back at Sans’ hand. It was their own decision to reach out and take Sans’ hand in their own. “Yeah.” They agree. “A break sounds great right about now.”
“fantastic. and i know just the place to hang. don’t worry, i know a shortcut.”
With Frisk’s hand gripped in his own, Sans lead them around one of the tents…
--------------------
...and they appeared in front of another familiar tent, one with a wooden table and bar stools lined up in front of it. Frisk took a seat, squirming a little to get comfortable, and Sans hopped up next to them. The cushion he rang out with a loud ‘ppffft’ sound that was loud enough to sound over the whole camp. Frisk giggled as Sans hastily excused himself, before pulling a whoopie cushion from underneath his own seat and jamming it into his pocket like a used tissue. “man, even up on the surface you got weirdos putting whoopie cushions on things.” Sans lamented, as though he were an innocent victim.
“Well, it’s just how some people express themselves.” Frisk argued through their chortling. “You can’t put a damper on people’s fart-istry, you know?”
Sans’ eyes seemed to light up at the pun. “heh, good one, kid. that deserves a soda. hey grillby, an orange soda for the kid, if you would, and some ketchup for me. ive got the gold for it.” Sans slammed a fistful of coins down on the counter, much more than would be required for a soda and a bottle of ketchup. The fire elemental complied, wearing gloves as he placed the drink down in front of Frisk. They sipped, relishing in the sweet flavour of orange exploding in their mouth. This. This was their new favourite drink ever.
Sans brought the ketchup bottle to his mouth and just squirted it inside. This wasn’t the first time he’d done such a thing in front of Frisk, but they still wondered how he could manage to down that much ketchup.
“so, heard were moving out soon.” He opened casually.
Frisk nodded up and down, slurping noisily with their straw. “Yeah. Mister Galeforce said the buses will be here to pick us up around sundown. They’ll take us into the city, and we’ll be put up in a hotel until Monster Town is complete.”
“gotta admit, i had my doubts. didn’t think anything could change the humans minds. but you did it, squirt. you sure are something else.” Sans tipped his head back to take in even more ketchup. How did he ingest so much without feeling sick? “were finally, really free. its a lot to take in.”
The slurp, slurp sounds paused as Frisk stopped drinking their soda, smacking their lips as they thought carefully about how to say what was on their mind. “Well, there is one thing still on my mind…”
Sans put down his ketchup, smiling down at Frisk as he waited for them to spill their guts.
“Sans…” It was hard to find a place to start. Eventually, they just decided to start at the biggest hurdle, and work their way down. “I’m sorry about what Chara and I did. In the previous timeline. I know there’s no way to really make it up to you…” They quickly glanced over to see Sans’ reaction. The short skeleton still had that same joker’s smile on his face, with no visible change. “but I want you to know, even if you never really like me, I like you. I think you’re cool, and funny, and a great brother.”
“ah, kid.” Sans waved his hand at them. “youre going to make me blush.”
“...and anyways, you can be sure I won’t RESET and make you go Underground again.” Frisk promised. This one Sans gave them a quick side-eye, which was the closest thing to an emotional reaction they’d gotten out of him. “When Gaster… uh, when Gaster dragged my soul into the Void, it severed my connection with my SAVE. I can’t go back to before the SAVE I made just after that.” And they’d probably never try, not knowing how going back again would effect Henry’s soul.
Sans placed the bottle of ketchup on the table, humming thoughtfully. “well. thats an interesting development. youd think hearing that would be relieving, but…” Sans sighed, sounding just as tired as he looked. “to be honest, its kind of unsettling. ive been living with the RESETS for forever, so the thought of not having them is… weird, to put it lightly.” Sans looked down at his hands, tapping them idly on the table. “ive been standing still for so long, i think ive forgotten how to move forward.”
“I think I know how you feel.” Confided the small human. “I’ve had Chara with me since I fell Underground, and I’ve gotten used to them living in my head, reminding me what my options are and making sure I have everything I need. Even though I’ve only technically had them for a few days, making decisions and going it alone… it feels scary. But even though I’m alone in my head, I’m surrounded by friends and family who are willing to help me out.” Frisk grinned as they twirled their straw in their hand. “Like mom and Papyrus, and… maybe you? If you want?”
The skeleton hummed and hawwed, scratching his chin as he thought it over. “hmm… not sure im feeling up to making promises…”
“Then let’s not make a promise.” Suggested Frisk. “Let’s make a deal.” This caught Sans’ attention, and he turned his head to look at them fully. “You work at living your life again, making choices and changes and just… focusing on getting to a better place. And in exchange, I’m going to try to be more PATIENT, to think about my choices and how they effect people more, and just slow things down and not depend on SAVING when making my decisions.” They held out their hand. “Does that sound like a deal?”
Sans took their hand… and then surprised Frisk by pulling them into a hug. “kid, you really are something special. sure, ill take that bet. just remember to keep your end of the bargain, okay?”
Frisk hugged Sans back, as tight as they could. “Don’t worry, I’ll keep my word. It’s a deal.”
--------------------
After finishing their soda, Frisk walked their way back to where they’d seen Chara and Flowey. The two were still there, fortunately, but they were no longer talking. Just sitting in silence, watching the sky turn orange as the sun began to set. The fact that they could hang out and keep the peace, without intervention from anyone else, gave Frisk HOPE. They sprinted over, their feet pounding on the ground, and Chara turned around to face Frisk.
“Hey.” They greeted. Chara scooted over and patted the spot between themselves and Flowey; a clear invitation for Frisk to join them, which they gladly took. “Was wondering when you’d show up.”
Flowey waved with one of his vines. “Heya, Frisk. So we’ll be leaving soon?”
“Yup.” Confirmed the ambassador. “The buses should be here within the hour. Everyone else is just finishing cleaning up.” Most of the tents and fencing had been taken down at this point, with the soldiers and Royal Guard handling most of the hard labor.
“So that means I’ll have to ride in that flowerpot again, huh?” Flowey furrowed his brow. “Fuuun.”
Frisk snickered a little, covering their mouth with their hand. “So, what have you two been up to? I haven’t seen you since before the meeting.”
“I said goodbye to the Big Guy and the rest of the Toppats.” Flowey’s petals seemed to wilt. “I’m gonna miss those guys.”
“We got to talking. About… stuff. Mostly what happened after we both died.” Chara pulled their legs up into their chest. “I’m not going to say everything’s okay, because it’s not, but we’re working things out.” They glanced over to the flower over Frisk. “I still haven’t forgiven you for attempting to kill Frisk, by the way. That’s still messing me up.”
Flowey didn’t seem to bat an eye at the statement. “Yeah, that’s fair.”
“But we’re working things out. He’s… he’s not my Asriel, but we’re still family, in a way. So I’m going to try being his sibling.” The ghost offered a shaky smile, and Flowey smiled back. Not perfect, but it was a good start.
Frisk stretched out their arms, pulling Flowey and Chara as close to themselves as they could for a sibling hug. Chara, used to Frisk’s affectionate behavior, returned the embrace and snuggled their head in the crook of Frisk’s neck. Flowey grumbled and complained, but his vines wrapped around Frisk’s arm to hug them back. The child giggled. At this point, there were just two things missing…
“Oh, there you are!”
And speak of the devil.
Toriel was smiling widely and sincerely as she approached the three children, locked in each other’s arms, with Asgore trailing not far behind. The King sat behind Chara with a warm grin, careful not to touch them, and Toriel sat directly behind Frisk and Flowey. “It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it?” Toriel asked.
“Indeed,” Asgore agreed. “Birds are singing, flowers are blooming…” His finger stroked gently along Flowey’s top petals, like a father ruffling his son’s hair.
“Perfect weather for watching the sunset as a family?” Frisk asked.
Toriel pat Frisk on the head. “You’ve read my mind, my child.”
There, in the embrace of their siblings, watched over by their parents, Frisk felt for the first time that they finally had what they’d always wanted. Friends who cared, a family who loved them, HOPE for the future to come…
It filled Frisk with… DETERMINATION.

By • Olalekan Fagbade How cultists reportedly deceived kilked DPO – Rivers CP gives details The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Emeka Nwonyi, has explained why the late Divisional Police Officer of Ahoada, Bako Angbashim, was easily murdered by his killers. As reported by The PUNCH, Nwonyi said the late police officer played into the hands of his cultist killers by believing when they lied that they were ready to turn in their arms if they would be granted amnesty in return. Nwonyi disclosed this during a solidarity protest by a human rights advocate, Charles Jaja, at the headquarters of the state Police Command in Port Harcourt on Monday. Nwonyi expressed regret that the late Angbashim trusted the miscreants, only for him (Angbashim) to realise their deceit in death. The CP, however, said that by the action of the cultists, “they have touched the lion’s tail.” He stated, “What pains me most was the idea of him (Angbashim) believing like he kept saying that these people said they were ready to surrender their guns and come out for amnesty. “And he played to the gallery, only to know in death that these people were rather crafty in their operation and lured him for an onslaught.” Continuing, the CP said, “We gave you (cultists) the opportunity to embrace peace, no personal interest attached than the interest we collectively have to make sure that Rivers State is peaceful. “If you will not take it, was the option of killing this man the best? He has a family, he has children, and he has a wife. No! You have touched the lion’s tail. Those men must be caught to face the wrath of the law. “We will be unrepentant until we put crime and criminality to its barest minimum in Rivers State.” He said that paying the supreme price was not the best reward for policemen who left their families to protect lives and property. Nwonyi stated, “As police officers, if we left our family, our environment, our homes for a state or national duty like this, this is not the best trophy to take home. “It is a clarion call for Nigeria, for Rivers State. It is wake-up call against the barbaric act. In this 21st century, a man that is not a criminal, that his only call was to come to sanitise society; that you should stop killing your fellow human beings, kidnapping your fellow human beings, destroying people’s property. That was the only crime.” While thanking the rights advocate for the visit, he added, “It is a very painful time for us in the Command for losing one of our best hands.” He thanked Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the N100m bounty placed on the prime suspect, Gift Okpara Okpolowu, and his members for anyone that could provide information that would lead to their arrest. “I am saying that patriotic citizens should take advantage of that. Be a whistleblower and make the money, and also help to make sure we arrest these bad guys for your own interest and humanity.” Earlier, Jaja described Angbashim’s death as a sad incident, which underscored the solidarity protest. He stated, “Angbashim was not someone that was not known to me, because I come from Opobo town and there were times he was very useful and helpful to the Opobo kingdom. “He brought about sanity in our own senatorial district. And his death and the manner in which he was murdered left us without any measure, but to come and say we sympathize with the whole team. While alleging that some politicians were sponsoring criminal gangs, he said such characters must be identified and prosecuted. Recall that dare-devil cultists had last Friday ambushed SP Angbashim and his men in Odiemudie community, Ahoada East LGA during a raid on criminal hideouts. But after hours of exchange of bullets, his men ran out of ammunition and fled, leaving their boss who the state police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, said ‘stood firm’ to confront his assailants. Unfortunately for the gallant cop, he too exhausted his bullets
and was injured while trying to escape, leading to his capture, as the cultists cut of his head, arms and manhood, sang victory songs and went on to film his decapitated remains. #HowDPOwasdecievedkilledbycultistssaysriversCP
