headcanons under the cut:

Dogday has ADHD, And because his big ol ears, he has bad sensory issues with specific sounds, especially since he can hear so well. Because of that, he carries around ear buds with him everywhere, so if you see him sitting somewhere with them in, he is overwhelmed, do not bother him!!

He glows in the dark like a nightlight, but his pendant on the other hand glows constantly. when he stims, he does so with tail wagging, hand flapping, and leg stomps/shakes.

he howls at the sun instead of the moon, and he is TERRIFIED of sunflowers. they stare back, he swears they do-

he finds pop rock candy very fascinating! it's his favorite candy.

he really likes basking in the sun! and though he may be super energetic and busy with something almost all the time, he always has an eye out, and is always keeping his friends safe, no matter the consequences! he definitely puts others before himself, no doubt.

he actually doesn't like hugs that much, his preferred way of showing affection is just setting his head on your shoulder or lightly headbutting you :3 or bapping you with his paws!

he also has bad memory. not HORRIFICALLY bad, but its not very good either.

his body is warmer than everybody elses, meaning he is the center of attention in the cold winter!

Lmk ss edits + Headcanons, Part 3 (Chang'e, Nezha, Pif, DBK)

- She/Her

- Bisexual w/ male pref (eternally devoted to her husband, Hou Yi, in Chinese mythology though, so I don't ship her with anyone)

- Constellation shaped freckles

- Even though her robot bunnies don't need to eat she still sets out extra plates otherwise she feels bad

- Ambivert

- Used to have a short hair phase

- Aside from cooking she's also good at coloring/painting and makes jewelry for fun

- Can talk for hours on end

- Would absolutely loose her mind if she found out about rollerblading, change my mind

- BIG sweet tooth

- Exchanged a few recipes with Pigsy before they left

- Uses Kaomojis

- Stress eats

- Chang'e and Macaque are besties (I saw other people talking about this and thought it was cute)

- Chang’e is one of the very few people Macaque allows hugs from because she gives the best comforting hugs ever

- She tried to teach MK how to cook once and he failed miserably, she has banned him from the kitchen permanently

- Everytime Macaque complains about something to her it ALWAYS has something to do with Wukong and Chang’e is honestly done with them at this point

- She is always energetic, like seriously, she can run around and cook and exercise for hours and never break a sweat

- She can play the flute

- She does Nezha's hair sometimes when he visits

- Her, Nezha and Macaque will all get together sometimes and just gossip for hours

- Hates it when her kitchen is messy, even when she's in a rush to make something or there's a lot going on she'll be sure to put everything in a neat order

- Smells like cakes, pies and other pastries

- Love language is quality time

- Her skin is always really cold (because of , y'know.. living on the moon) but she's lived there for so long now that she hardly notices anymore

- Doesn't really have a skin care routine and doesn't use a lot of products but her skin is always so soft and clear anyways

- Makes up her own constellations when she stargazes

- She has a small shrine in her house in respect to Hou Yi

- Has two group chats, one with Macaque and Nezha for gossiping, and the other with Pigsy and DBK for cooking

- He/Him

- AroAce

- Put his hair up in a messy bun the ONE time Wukong decided to drop in unannounced, still gets bullied for it to this day

- Would probably die if you ever gave him any kind of soda

- Has a scar on his neck and can even pop his head off like the headless horseman because of... iykyk.. sometimes pulls it off to scare people

- Like Pigsy, he's a huge environmentalist; got super pissed when he heard about climate change and pollution, like he was DEVESTATED

- Really likes chocolate milk, but only drinks it when he's alone because Wukong caught him once and still teases him about it

- Use to babysit Redson when he was little, especially when Princess Iron Fan was too distressed to look after him herself for long periods at a time after her husband was sealed away

- Taught Redson how to harness his powers while he babysat

- Perfect handwriting, it should be a font

- Has difficulty breathing, especially when he gets overwhelmed, due to... yk.. committing..

- Always has a least a small taste of metal in his mouth

- Redson would somehow manage to disappear if Nezha looked away for even a second so he wound up having to get a ring sling to carry him in, no one took him seriously with it on

- Sees PIF as an older sister

- Favourite food is strawberry cake

- Not necessarily a vegetarian but doesn't eat meat often

- Meditates to save and absorb energy instead of sleeping, that way if something happens or someone attacks, he's always awake and ready to handle the situation

- When meditating, stray lotus petals will float around and surround him that act as a shield while also emitting a peaceful aura that keeps both himself and the people around him in a calm state of mind

- Him and Wukong have a sibling rivalry

- Felt incredibly guilty when Redson got trapped in a scroll because he was the one Redson came to when his parents were gone and thought he failed to protect him

- DBK and him have an awkward relationship given the whole "Attack on heaven" thing, but have been trying to find something to bond over for PIF

- Erlang and PIF are basically his older siblings, like they'd be the kind of siblings who'll pretend to give him an important task so he'll leave them alone and then immediately shut and lock the door as soon as he leaves the room, y'know?? He still hasn't forgiven them for that

- Smells like Lotus flowers and strawberries

- Love language is acts of service and words of affirmation

- Likes the idea of hiking and stargazing but never has the time to do it since he's always working

- Isn't afraid to call out someone's bs (*cough* Monkey King *cough*) but can't handle someone calling him out for the literal life of him

- He loves flowers and their symbolism, use to study it before he was tasked with guarding the map to the samadhi rings

- He's actually a really good swimmer but people don't believe him because of his relation to fire

- Has absolutley licked himself to see what he tastes like

- She/Her

- Bisexual

- Has a beautiful singing voice and use to sing lullabies to Redson all the time when he was a kid. Although it's a rare occurrence, she'll sing lullabies to him even now if he gets particularly stressed out or anxious

- Feels guilty about being too mentally unwell to take care of Redson properly after DBK was sealed away when he was little but never knew how to make up for it so she just closed herself off instead which is why she's so cold with him

- Would sleep in a guest bedroom or on the couch for the first few years of DBK being sealed away because she couldn't handle being alone in such a big bed without him

- Follow up on the last HC, after she started sleeping in her and DBK's bed again Redson would sometimes come in in the middle of the night and sleep in bed with her so she felt less lonely but stopped after he turned 11-12 (or at least the Demon equivalent to that age cause he's like 500+)

- Does Redson's hair for him in the morning since he's always too tired to do it himself

- Use to style his hair like hers, with the little horns made of hair, at least until his real horns started growing in

- Her and Macaque are sworn siblings (I have no idea where this HC came from but I saw other people talking about it and thought it was cute)

- Sees Nezha as a younger brother

- Was outcast from her family after DBK started courting her, she was upset for a while but it was worth it

- Super long hair, like it reaches her thighs when it's fully down

- Master calligrapher, seriously her writing is so beautiful and neat

- When DBK was first freed, the first two or so weeks she would stay up as long as possibly and hold onto him so tight whenever she finally did fall asleep because she was scared she'd wake up and he'd be gone again

- Felt like she failed as a mother when she realized she missed Redson's first words, first steps, everything, because Nezha had to look after him while she mourned her husband

- Favourite flowers are Dhalia's

- Because her hair is long it's also very heavy, sometimes if her scalp is particularly sore from keeping it styled up in horns all day DBK will sit with her and brush her hair while she relaxes and watches TV or reads

- Cooks sometimes but isn't as good as DBK

- Has a terrible habit of hiding her emotions from her family (actually the entire Demon Bull Family struggles with this habit)

- Hates the feeling of ink on her skin, someone knocked over a bottle of writing ink in her hand once and she washed it for almost an hour straight to get rid of the feeling of it on her skin

- Smells like Stargazer Lilies

- Love language is quality time and words of affirmation

- Surprisingly big fan of horror movies (conjuring, exorcist, Shining, etc)

- Listens to true crime shows/podcasts while working

- Had servants home-school Redson and then took over home-schooling him herself when he was older

- All her clothes are custom made, and had to get them re-made with fire resistant materials after Redson was born, as well as everything else in the Demon Bull Palace (Clothes, rugs, sheets, blankets, curtains etc)

- Has separate makeup and jewelry boxes, one for everyday wear, and one for special events (anniversaries, royal gatherings, etc)

- Ambivert

- If she runs out of patience for you, you will literally die

- He/Him

- Bisexual

- Hardly recognized Redson when he was freed from the mountain, which is why he didn't address him as quickly as he did Iron Fan

- Has a hard time trying to Remember Redson isn't little anymore, was devestated that he didn't get to watch him grow up

- Tries to connect with Redson and learn about his interests but it just comes off as really awkward for both of them

- Throws all of MK's (and other suitors) Courting gifts to Redson away if he sees them before Redson does (I am a firm believer of overprotective dad DBK)

- Learned how to cook for Iron Fan after they started courting eachother to impress her and it grew into an actual hobby of his, now he likes to cook and bake when he's stressed instead of yelling and breaking things (especially after the Lady Bone Demon incident)

- All his old cook books are pretty much dust after not being used and taken care of for several centuries and although he was upset, he still remembers a few of the recipes, majority of the food he makes now is what he learned from watching Chang'e's cooking show

- Exchanges recipes with Pigsy after getting to know eachother a bit at the beach, but they don't talk much outside of food related topics

- Once walked in on Redson and MK making out in Redsons room and promptly threw MK out the window (he was fine)

- Use to allow Wukong to take naps on his chest while they were still in the Brotherhood, mostly because Wukong would never stop and DBK eventually gave up on trying to get him to stop

- Got really emotional when he found out Redson got a nose ring to match with him (pretended not to care but started crying when he was alone)

- Keeps a photo of PiF and Redson with him at all times, it's not in great condition anymore because he was buried under the mountain with it, but it's too sentimental for him to replace it

- Knows Redsons date of birth down to the exact hour by heart (Canon in JTTW)

- Touch starved, being locked away for 500 years definitely took a toll on him

- Still hasn't entirely forgiven Wukong for calling Redson a "half-baked son"

- Much like how PIF will sing to Redson when he's particularly stressed or anxious, DBK will cook Redson his favorite childhood meal; he was worried the first time it happened because he wasn't sure how to handle Redsons emotional state and also wasn't sure if he still liked the dish he loved as a child, but Redson was visibly happier (or at least calmer) afterwards so he'll keep making it for him

- Has a sepertate pen and writing ink that he uses exclusively for writing to PIF

- He's a sucker for romance movies

- Will pick Redson up by the back of his shirt like a cat and drag him to bed if he's overworking himself

- Invited the Brotherhood to see Redson when he was first born; was disappointed when Azure, Peng and Yellowtusk never showed up

- Goes all out on him and PiF's anniversary to make up for the 500 anniversaries he missed (same with PIF and Redson's birthdays)

- Smells like dirt and regretful life choices (fr though he's been under a mountain for 500 years, that smell doesn't wash away easy after that long, Iron Fan surprisingly doesn't mind, but maybe she's just too happy that he's back to care enough about it)

- Love language is physical touch and quality time

- Cried watching the Titanic, don't even try to tell me otherwise

- Hopeless romantic

- Loves spicy food but doesn't have as high a tolerance as Redson (still very high though, but I mean c'mon, Redson is literally a fire demon)

- Cannot understand or use technology for the life of him, he's calling in Redson left and right asking how to download something or how to get onto another website

- Still feels guilty whenever he sees Redson flinch at him (because of the whole almost killing Redson when he was possessed by the Lady Bone Demon)

oh yeah! started working on my own take on nicktoons unite gang 'glow ups' sea sponges don't change much but i can't leave the guy out so heres this >:D

-shout out to my lettering work it looks nice >:D

-i asked myself 'what items would spongebob carry on him at all times' and preceded to project 'items i would carry on me at all times if i could'

-decided to go with a pie-cut instead of pupil for the eyes because i'm hoping it'll make him look extra cartoony next to the rest of nicktoons unite gang

-almost gave him gary slippers instead but than i remembered sea bunnies and that idea won

-almost gave him the non binary flag or just the asexual flag for that one tie but the aroace flag reminds me of a beach so it was the winner for that

-i forgor to color the lines in the sleeves on the far left :(

-btw the spongebob wiki has a page for spatulas that legit is just

-there is actually like consistent hole count and placement for spongebob but i decided to ignore that sense 1. I am drawing this as one guy and not for an animation team. 2. because it's not like, significant, idk the word for this but essentially the concept that accuracy doesn't matter as much as believability and clarity, for example, when someone animates an instrument they likely won't have it be animated 'correctly' because it doesn't need to be in order to give the illusion that the instrument is being played. except in this case it's that the exact placement and number of sponge bobs holes isn't significant to the recognizability of the character and the iconography is kept at long as they're present. the same concept is actually also present in the drawing of that silly straw! the actual direction of it doesn't make sense but that doesn't matter because it's identifiable. and lastly 3. because the holes are like placed to fit around his face and I exaggerated the proportions differently and thus they're fitted around differently

-for the outfits i wanted to keep in mind the 'nerdy' aesthetic, and than just saturate the hell out of the colors. that grey is actually purple

-the way i can spell aplysina fistularis but had to fucking triple check how neutron is spelled

heres some more random thoughts and hcs :3

the ra*bits juniors tend to come straight to niichan for advice on most things so they've naturally come to him several times with crushes and various love troubles. he's got very little clue as to how they're feeling but is always a good listener and a shoulder to lean on for them

also depending on your fav babits ships he's probably threatened all of their prospective partners with violence at least once (unless you ship them with each other. then he just gets to cheer them on and its very cute and sweet)

sometimes he runs into kaoru in the rythlin office and is like hey remember that one time you tried to hit on me. huh. do you remember that. hes not letting him live it down

in general, he's very good at picking up on other people's feelings and crushes and things and likes to tease people about it. he pokes fun at kuro abt keito regularly

he loves shu, really, he's his dear friend, but he tells him regularly that he is going to stop agreeing to go to brunch with him if he doesn't just tell mika he's pathetically in love with him because it's getting really embarrassing at this point. it takes many, many tries to get him to stop being in denial about it. the eccentrics are shocked he was able to do it at all (and a little hurt (joke) like shu we've been telling you this for years why is nito the only one who can talk sense into you do your other friends mean nothing to you??? cant believe this)

he has similar conversations with mika but mika's never been in denial about it he just won't confess so most of them go like this "mika-chin just tell him" "no" "mika-chin" "no" "MIKA-CHIN" "NNNAH"

he's cute, obviously, and regularly gets hit on while in college, so he has lied on several occasions and said he already has a girlfriend. he asked naru to fake date him at an event once and she had a little bit too much fun with it (and they became closer as friends as a result :3)

ANYWAY hes a good niichan and he loves his friends and his family and his bunny and i also love him amen

Now that we have two new ref line ups, allow me to share with y'all some headcanons for some of them!

Rex/Kid Math

Most of our Kid Math takes are based off of FountainPenguin's two Kid Math fics: Factor It In and AlgoRythym. We just love those fics <3

Last name is Pemdas.

Non-binary. Really I just imagine most of the aliens in the show are some flavor of non-binary and Kid Math is no exception.

Autistic and has synesthesia. Same as Becky :) Comes with the territory of being from a subject obsessed planet and gaining superpowers on another world that overstimulates the senses.

His birthday (equivalent on Earth) is Pi day

He is so, so small. 3'7" (or exactly 110 centimeters!) tall. He looks more like he should be in Kindergarten/1st grade than 3rd grade.

More of a Hexagon headcanon than a Kid Math specific one: Hexagon is a very logical planet and as a result, when they do superhero work it's always 1) track down villain 2) get rid of villain 3) day is saved! Wordgirl's way of being a superhero would baffle ANYONE from Hexagon. Kid Math is just a product of his environment.

Mr Big + Leslie

Mr Big is trans.

His orientation is queer because we can't quite pin down what it is but he's definitely not straight.

Stands at 6'5". He's not called "Mr Big " for nothing!

Sees Dr Two-Brains on the weekends ever since their team up in Invasion of the Bunny Lovers. >:3

Leslie is a lesbian. We think she and the Mayor's assistant should kiss but not sure if it's canon to Exploration.

She's only 5'5" but wears 2 inch heels so you can't immediately tell.

Leslie's last name is Little. She's Leslie Little.

Both are in their early/mid 30's. Mr Big is only a couple years older than Leslie.

Granny May

She's been a villain the longest. Being a petty pickpocket since her late teens. Her "career" as a supervillian really took off though when she met her future husband.

Her husband was a man named Walter, who she met after charming her way into some fancy event. She stole his heart and his wallet that night <3

Walter made most of her gadgets that she uses today. Her suit of armor was his wedding present to her.

They got married later than most people from their time. Granny May was very hesitant about marriage at first. Worried it would affect her crime career since she relied mostly on her charm, which works better on suckers men when they think you're single.

Note: I really could go on and on about Granny's past but I'll leave off here because we have a whole episode planned for exploring her past ;)

Granny May has always been very small. In her prime she only stood at 5'1". In her old age she's now only 4'11".

Victoria Best

Dyes her hair. She's a natural brunette but since the rest of her family is blonde it's for the best (heh) that she match her family.

Her eyes are naturally blue but have an unusual red tint to the pupils and iris.

As of Exploration, she's currently taller than Becky at 4'9".

On the aroace spectrum but hasn't figured it out yet. She's the best at ignoring her feelings <3

We have big plans for her :)

Beatrice Bixby/Lady Redundant Woman

In her mid 30's.

Beatrice herself is aroace. Her clones are not. It drives her insane when one of them develops a crush because she doesn't get it.

Her clones are not perfect copies of her. She's had to recall one or two because they refuse to help in her crime sprees.

All her clones are effectively vegetarian because they can only consume ink. Ever since she became Lady Redundant Woman, Beatrice has had to supplement her own diet with ink every now and then. She can just change out her ink cartridge, but it's surprisingly cheaper to just eat ink. Also less of a hassle.

Lady Redundant Woman herself might also just be vegetarian. We haven't figured that out yet.

Tall woman. She stands at 6'1" plus her boots make her appear a couple inches taller. She looks shorter as Beatrice because of her Customer Service Slouch(TM).

She's ambidextrous.

Todd "Scoops" Ming

Hitting him with the trans beam. Came about because of that one episode where, aside from Bob, he was the only boy in the scouts group. We think he joined before he transitioned, and then when he did come out as trans the group wanted him to stay <3 Now he's one of the exceptions because it'd be rude to kick him and also all the other scouts will defend his place with their dying breaths.

Aside from Eugene May (because no one is gonna catch up with him), he's the tallest kid in 7th grade right now at 4'11".

While currently dating Violet, Scoops is bi and has had a couple crushes before Violet. His type seems to be blondes with weird eyes...

ale: we gave him ugly shoes because his top half is the only thing that needs to look presentable.

we obviously also fixed his skintone and haircut. we love you wordgirl, you did this kid so incredibly dirty.

we made his shirt blue because he's a little older now and Raven thought he deserved to have a different shirt.

Violet Heaslip

Her eyes are an unusual pinkish-purple color. Becky and Scoops think it's really cool.

She's currently the same height as Victoria.

Back in 4th grade/beginning of 5th grade she had a crush on Becky. She outgrew it halfway through the school year.

ale: we really just gave her an all-new detailed outfit because, as we realized after we finished her, her outfit is so.... plain for an art kid!

His birthday is May 4th.

Tim and Sally Botsford (Do not separate <3)

Both are in their late 30's but Sally is older by a couple years.

Tim is just a little taller than average at 5'10", while Sally is close to average height at 5'4", but wears 3 inch heels to give herself that extra height. Makes her a little more intimidating at her job.

They met in college at the ice cream parlor from Whammer Anniversary <3 it was for some get together/study group and the two just clicked.

Their wedding anniversary is October 13th.

Tim is pan.

Tim's family specifically is of Ethiopian descent. It's why his spicier meals pack such a punch.

We mostly just like Sally the way she is <3

As we've mentioned before, Sally is Afro-Latina.

Shown in the episode That's Entertainment, Sally's hair actually becomes poofy and curly when not "blow-dried." Her hair is still like this (it's what inspired us to make her Afro-Latina), but we've decided that her hair becomes straightened through normal straightening means.

ale: made Tim's hair more afro-textured for obvious reasons. also it's canon that it used to look like that. also, he's graying more.

made Tim more brown because we couldn't live with keeping him orange.

i INSISTED that he keep his horrible outfit. everyone watching me draw him hated it, however, he is my "horrible fashion sense" king.

we mostly kept Sally the same, just made her skin more skin-tone like. also, we turned that weird line in her hair into a gray streak, because she's a little older now, and we couldn't figure out why it was there.

So, I like to think shin’s scared of big dogs,, he got chased around by one as a small kid and that stuck with him. Part of what pushed him to be such a cat person.

He/they/moon nonbinary i think. Just uses he/him in public bc moon doesn’t care abt it much at work. Also that’s an aroace gay guy 2 me. (Hi hades)

He and kanna like to hang out and be quiet and relaxed, it’s nice to wind down after school/work and just watch a cartoon or code together. Parallel play<3 kanna also likes to visit shin’s cat kiki (yes like the delivery service, shin’s fav as a kid)

When kugie’s in the mix though, they usually go out and do something! Kugie likes treating her sibs to ice cream or anything sweet, and they’ll go to amusement parks or the beach or just walk around the block. Kugie has to be focused on slowing down though since otherwise she’d blow right past them (she is in track) (shin and kanna are disabled and also noodle-armed nerds)

Also, i like to think the greenblings (all three) like painting together :3 on shin’s wall or on a canvas, or they use sidewalk chalk. It’s relaxing and keeps their brains going yk.

Also, kanna and kugie work with plants together and they name all of them<3 and they have a bunny he’s named starship laserbeam and they love him dearly.

Hi friends! After struggling for months, I managed to rewrite my picture book story. I don't know what this means for my writer's block since I was only rewriting, but I'm excited and I have words to share again!!!

Have 6 somethings

Agatha Wellbelove and Simon Snow were dancing. They were smiling, bright and beautiful like a princess and her Prince Charming [...]. Baz hated them.

Wellbelove sighed. Snow was—thankfully not literally—fuming. “You’re just trying to steal her from me.” // “And what if I am?” Baz smirked, and held out his hand to Wellbelove. “Care to dance? With someone who won’t step on your feet.”

Who could expect him to study the Great Centaur Wars when Snow was there, looking gorgeous, and Baz was supposed to hate him? Absurd.

In the nursery where Baz had spent the first five years of his life, where the vampires had bitten him, was the fifth hare. He was sure of it—he could picture the big rabbit hanging from the ceiling and singing nursery rhymes to the babies whenever the right spell was cast. It also answered any question, when it felt like it. Baz used to spend entire afternoons lying under it and trying to learn the names of the stars and the numbers up to a thousand and all the spells in the world.

“No, Snow,” Baz hissed. “It’s your useless magic, you turned it into a bunny, for Merlin’s sake.” The bunny hissed back. Baz was used to animals being scared of him—they knew they risked becoming his dinner—but there was nothing like fear in the bunny’s eyes. Just pure hatred. In such a little, round ball of fluff.

Agatha left her corner with an unimpressed sigh and handed Snow the vomit-covered rabbit statue. He kissed her, and Baz considered letting the bunny eat him alive.

PoliZ's WIP Update - 3 Apr 2024

Getting back to what I’d like to consider an average writing week, with most of my effort was focused on a single work. I touched 4 fics (1 new work & 3 WIPs) for a total of 2330 words.

On Ao3, I posted:

Shooting for the Moon - a WinterHawk meet-ugly one shot that’s a POV remix of A Hairy Situation

On Tumblr I posted:

Amplification - A Steve POV ficlet where he reflects on the effects of Project Rebirth.

I’m juggling 17 😬 active/semi-active WIPs with my current deadline being the Post July Break Bingo, which ends in April, and the Alpha Bucky April event.

See below cut for what I’m working on/planning to work on - arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc. As always, feel free to send me prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding any of these projects or any other WIPs I’ve got out there. Interaction really helps feed the Muse and keep me motivated!

Stony AUniverse Bingo [SAUB_R1] (ends 15 Feb)

Two fill on my 2x3 non-fandom-specific card - still working on potential crossovers.

* A2 - "You knew?" - matched this up with Chapter Three of my Stony spyfic WIP - Keeping All My Secrets Safe Tonight - it’s coming in at 1079 words and after a bit more editing, should be posting this Friday.

* B2 - Character’s personality is split into two different beings – I’ve never played with Bucky & the Soldier being two different people, but this seems like the perfect opportunity! Will see what might be a good crossover on one of my open cards.

* C1 - Touch Starved – another good fit for a Bucky-centric fic. (Steve or Tony or Clint).

* C2 - “What are we?” Pair up with SRB C5 - Exes to Lovers ?

Alpha Bucky April - [BBE_ABA] - (Ends 30 April)

@buckybarnesevents is running another fun event to encourage fanworks featuring Alpha!Bucky - any pairing in terms of characters and/or alignments. Since I already have a couple of Alpha!Bucky WIPs, am using this as a good reason to get some work in on them. There’s also additional challenges that I plan to take on:

* Breeding Kink/Baby Fever - mpreg is a pretty major squick for me, but I think I might be able to make it work in combination with an April BaBB prompt (roleplay) for what looks to be Chapter Three of A Bit Carried Away.

* Nesting - This will fit pretty well into the next chapter of A Sugar-Coated Pill - where Bucky comforts Tony after the bad news he’s gotten and helps him plan what to do next. It’s currently sitting at 177 words and will crossfill with my WIB Couch Cuddles square nicely.

* Purring/Affection - This could (and quite possibly will) fit into either/both of the above fics, tbh.

* Beta Character - My BBC4 fic (see below) features beta!Tony, and aroace Natasha will be making an appearance in Chapter Two of A Bit Carried Away, which is in draft form at 1219 words and will probably post on the 19th.

* Double Minimum Req - 1500 words for a chapter seems pretty do-able - targeting my BBC4 fic (or at least its first chapter) to fill this challenge

Bucky Barnes Connect Four - Alt Jun-iverse [BBC4_R2] {Ends May 31 2024}

Another fun event from the good folks over at @buckybarnesevents! You sign up for a single row card of four squares and the challenge is to see if you can combine any/all into a single Bucky-centric AU fanwork - although you can also create fanworks that are based on a single or combo of 2-3 squares if you want.

The combo of prompts on my first card [Reality Show, Omegaverse, Talent/Manager, Royalty] sparked an idea: Alpha!Bucky as a prince in name only who gets talked into joining a reality show that is supposed to match him up with an omega… but there’s a twist! Picked this back up and it’s sitting at 766 words so far. Thinking the Alpha Bucky April event will be a good excuse to get at least a first chapter of this out there!

Steve Rogers Bingo - Round 3 [SRB_R3] (ends 15 Jun 2024)

Fourteen fills and no WIPs at the moment - need to ponder other possible crossovers with my non-fandom cards & BaBB.

* C5 - Exes to Lovers see JBB “What are we?” above

* E5 - Oversensitivity/Enhanced Senses - paired this up with last week’s Flash Fiction Friday prompt [#FFF246 Pinprick] for Amplification. A Steve POV ficlet where he reflects on the effects of Project Rebirth, it came in at 334 words and will post to Ao3 before the event is over.

Hawkeyes Bingo [HB_R2] {Ends TBD}

Working on this Tumblr event - got a 3x3 card and and am looking forward to creating more Clint-centric content and trying my hand at a bit of Kate Bishop fic as well!

*A1 - Werewolf AU - Posted Shooting for the Moon on Ao3 this morning - Werewolf!Bucky’s POV on the second half of A Hairy Situation. It came in at 786 words.

* A3 - Awkward Flirting – this might be a good entry into my first femslash fic with Kate/Yelena?

C3 - "I've never been so humiliated in my life." - filled this on Tumblr last Friday with A Shining Example. Established WinterHawk where a training session goes embarrassingly wrong and Clint gives Bucky a pep talk. It crossed over with the Flash Fiction Friday prompt [#FFF243 Glitter and Blues] and will get posted on Ao3 before this event ends.

Build-A-Bucky Bingo [BaBB_R1] {Ends Oct 2024}
