okay so you sent this and i asked mars if they told you about this because, well... you just so happened to pick the single supercorp (aka: supercorp main featuring) WIP i have.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THIS IS ALL MARS' FAULT not fully but it's with love that i say that. essentially, this started after i heard a song, and it then spun into a stripper!lena au. title itself is a word. kara gets dragged to a strip club where lena works due to her brother's debts. kara returns during lena's shifts and pays for dances in the backroom, just to be near her. eventually, kara asks lena out on a date, away from prying eyes. and while they work in the club, lena becomes conflicted because oops this became more. tacenda (noun): things that are not to be spoken about or made public; things better left unsaid ANYWAY here's a snippet:

Have you gotten the chance to play with For Rent? If so, how do you like it?

For Rent was by far my favourite expansion pack ever. like a dream expansion for me. i spent a full night last week playing with it, making stuff, working on my save for the first time in ages, planning a *second* new-york inspired save...

and then i went and saved my lot as a residential rental, and all of my meticulously TOOL'ed neighborhood decorations decided to delete themselves (photo taken prior to catastrophe)

so now i have a vendetta against For Rent and i am in a state of semi-permanent shock. still partially in denial that it happened

pour one out for the deleted neighborhood. god rest her soul

warning: long idea that came from u so u deserve to hear about it

was ranting to my sister about ur sketches cuz i fell in love with them and they are hitting at like 3 obsessions at once so points for u-

anyway I talked about the fenton creep stick (the joker panel) and my sister (who never watched dp) asked what it was, and after a confusing explanation we decided that a fenton creep stick can be any kind of object that is 1) long and swingable (like a crowbar or even a pipe) and 2) sturdy and not easily breakable

after being in the phandom I saw a lot of headcannons that after the ghosts appeared, the fentons started doing speeches at Casper, and they gave out fenton creep sticks "to be safe" or that the fentons sell those to Amity Parkers (THEY'RE NOT GUNS so they can do it) so pretty much everyone has one

adding those ideas to the fact that my sister thought at first that the stick had something to do with CREEPS (like pedos or stalkers cuz of the name) I now imagine the most famous design of fenton creep stick to be one of those stun sticks (that can not only be used on ghosts, but actual creeps!!!)

enjoy this idea cuz it sure gave me joy

2, 15, 42!!

2: A creation that came out completely different to what you had first pictured in your mind

this jemily set, actually! i had a completely different idea in mind when i was planning this, but got pulled in a different direction once i actually started to pick scenes. that said, i am pretty proud with how it turned out.

15: Talk about some of your favourite creators: what do you love most about their creations?

oh man - i follow sooo many talented people. i'm always most impressed by my mutuals, honestly. but to be a little different, i wanna speak towards some of the written creators i admire, so let's list a couple: - rosie: writes some of my all time favorite jemily. it's always just so well executed?? idk how she does it, while being a great artist to boot. - mars: i mean, duh, mars has inspired many on here. they're just incredibly talented and their words both pull at my heart and speak everything i wish i could iterate and i love their work so much ;-; - spl: in a small slump and has not written in a bit, but she is actually one of the people whose fics i read during the beginning of what i've dubbed "the spiral." just wholesome and some good shit [also makes pretty gifs but that's not the point of this list] - libby: she has known me the longest on here, who still speaks to me. libby is incredibly talented, and she's writing something right now and i have been on the edge of my seat since she told me about it and i NEED whatever she writes because she's so dynamic and hey who doesn't also appreciate knowing the smut writer~ - sona: another beloved jemily writer. she likes to rip out your heart, step on it, make it bleed, but also does it in such a way that i will always come back for more. perhaps that says a lot about me - but sona is just so talented <3

42: Do you watch anything while you create?

i've tried to... i get distracted too easily. the most i can do is a sitcom in the background, or a show to provide background noise. mostly though, i listen to music or have silence. i get too invested with moving pictures and oof it has resulted in some errors.

12, Enjolras and Grantaire

12. What's a headcanon you have for these characters?

So we all know Enjolras was heavily based off Saint-Just, under the impression that he was an unrelenting archangel of the revolution. Hugo was heavily influenced by historians of his era (Michelet and Lamartine), and this impression of Saint-Just would reappear again in his later work, Quatrevingt-treize. I would argue that Saint-Just was rather different from the stoic image that Hugo describes in his works, even when under the consideration that most of the characters in Les Mis are highly symbolized. Saint-Just is very difficult to understand, not only because of how short his political career was, but also due to the fact that, after his execution, he was greatly demonized in Thermidorian propaganda. Current documents do give us a few glimpses of his inner thoughts, but it is far from enough for us to truly understand his personality even by a little.

What we do know, however, if he most likely lived, laughed, loved before the tumults of 1789. There was a rumor of him being in an ambiguous relationship with a girl from his hometown, he wrote plays that bore none of the clipped, serious tone so characteristic in his future speeches. L'Organt, an epic poem he wrote during his stay at the reformatory for stealing his mother's silverware, consisted of both political and sexual topics. He was capable of singing Italian airs during his lifetime. After his execution, among his confiscated properties, there was a flute.

While Hugo emphasizes Enjolras's virginity, I'd like to think that he actually understands--or at least has a vague idea of--the shittalking and the vulgar jokes from Les Amis. Sure, he'd probably not be very up to date with all the slang, but he should have a basic idea of it. I feel like this is also important for his revolutionary activities, especially in communicating with people of different origins.

So when Grantaire presents him with his suggestive jokes, Enjolras is probably not impressed. What a hopeless idiot, he thinks as he ignores him, again.

I haven't made up my mind on whether Grantaire knows that Enjolras knows. He worships Enjolras, and idolatry is so easy to blind us all... :)
