4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?

ok so it depended on which teacher u asked ig? cus my language teachers adored me (😋 academic validation yes) but my p.t. teacher LITERALLY H A T E D me like from day 1 to day last she LOATHED me i have a suspicion why but forget that but my science teachers also loved me mainly cus i was good at science then 😭

15. favorite book you read as a school assignment?

okay well we never had to read books for assignments but we had library books that were switched weekly from 5th grade right? and i wud say my fav book that i read out of those was probably 'The Twins at St. Clare's' by Enid Blyton or the Secret Seven series. i love love loveddd these ones i would literally beg around asking for who had the next book in the series so that i could exchange my current book with them next week. another series i literally loved sm was the fairy chronicles by J. H. Sweet. like, r u kidding me? just look at the names of some of the books they SOUND so good

and they are kind of spiderman-esque? like, i dont remember very clearly because i was literally 10 when i was reading these but i think it was smth like there is a secret fairy society and these girls are fairies but they can't tell their parents or any normal human but they have to save the world whenever there's smth wrong it was SOOO GOODDDD. anyway i'll stop ranting about them now 😭 (also one last thing, i loved the twins at st clare's sm that i actually googled if st clare's is a real school where i can convince my parents to let me go to BECAUSE IT SOUNDED SO AWESOMEEEE AAAA)

23. strange habits?

ok so out of the habits i do know that i have, some strange ones are:

i am one of those people who will crack(?) their bones sm it will either terrify you or piss you off. not kidding. i start with my back, the typical try to bend backwards with some kind of support halfway till your back, and then i twist my upper back all the way to the left and then to the right and it literally sounds like gunshots. (i think theres sm up with that, gonna go to the doc soon) next i crack all my knuckles etc etc etc i do it with my elbows and my knees too its sooo satisfying but it drives my dad crazy aksjks

i touch my nose a lot. this is smth i have noticed recently but i feel like whenever im having a convo with someone and dont know what to say i scratch the bridge of my nose or just touch it or smth and its SO SUSPICIOUS 😭 like i feel like the person's gonna think im hiding something or lying i promise im not suspicious im just nervous or smth 😭

i......sing. like, when you're saying smth but u realise that that sentence is a song lyric too and then why would u say it normally when u cud sing it like an i-deserve-a-grammy-person? yea. that. i do that a lot 😔 do u still think im cool

25. first song you remember hearing?

i donttttt knowww i guess it would be a lullaby or a nursery rhyme? i really dont remember any songs from my childhood 😭 like i guess i remember the theme of this one cartoon i used to watch which was called 'chhoti anandi' (its so cool i still sing it sometimes) but i think i was around 8-9 when i started watching it? pretty sure i listened to more songs at that time and before that too but ig thats one of them so 💪🏽

you probably would after months of little dates and deep conversations that probably never started off all that deep

you two already kinda acted like you were dating anyway

youd hold hands in crowded and isolated places. whether it be bc of people or shadows didnt matter

youd go to cafés a lot. rogue liked sweet coffee and even if you didnt like coffee at all hed make sure there was teas or lemonades or somethin for you to have

youd talk about your early lives, some funny stories, what wouldve happened if you two had different magic, what the ramifications of the etherion blast would have on the environment, etc.

whenever one of you was overwhelmed the other would drag them away. sometimes there would be an excuse. most of the time there wouldnt be

it was probably after a late night walk through the town that you confessed

hedve been confused at first. then hed think youre playing a joke on him. then hed think youre angry at him about something and thought this was the way to get his attention

youd have to peck his lips to get his little mumbling to cease

and then hed be gone. not mentally or emotionally. physically. bc he melted into the shadows and is probably either in his apartment or the guild, wherever sting was. and sting was probably laughing his ass off at the clearly very flustered shadow dragon slayer who was probably panicking about abandoning you

the thought would make you laugh. rogue would ooze out of the shadows a bit away from you and youd barely see through squinted eyes

hed apologize, of course. both for his accusations and for his reaction. youd say that it was fine. expected, even. hilarious and cute, as usual.

youd have to drag him out of the shadows again before he abandoned you again for that comment

after that, hed be shy. embarrassed, even, whenever you kissed him or held his hand or embraced him. alone or in public

itd take him months to get used to it all

and itd be when hestheyre holding you in bed, rubbing your back or your arm or something to help you go back to sleep. itd be when your breathing levels out and your heartbeat calms. and thats when hed confess. aloud. for the first time.

youd done that enough times that you figured he was just going to mumble praises about you again. but those words tipped you just enough into a more comfortable state that you didnt hear anything else and fell asleep

tmc unholy gift - the real gabriel gets released from his sand prison and all hell breaks loose /hj tmc roommates - basically just thatcher and alt!thatcher being the "best of friends" plus a ton of angst tse-like tmc au - ruth's daughter (who i named dorothy bc fuck you) tries to find ruth but has to discover the unfortunate truth by the most unlikely of sources alt swap au - humans and alts swap roles (i havent posted much on them but i have concepts of almost everyone if y'all wanna see them) a father's duty - dadtcher. that's kinda it DCFVGBHN fairy tale au - everyone is in the place of fairy tale characters, and they all take place in the same universe fairy au* - humans are fairies, and alts are predators (basically anything that eats bugs) hybrid au - everyone is a hybrid of one animal, alts can change what animal they are a hybrid of as well as be a hybrid of multiple animals tmc x murder files - my ocs get transported to mandela county and fuck shit up troubled twins - basically my rendition of the twin adams concept mostly inspired by @/adammurrays version of it! wont go into too much detail, but adam and his alternate are raised together as "twins", and chaos ensues in a deep, dark forest au - tmc but it takes place in a small, woodland town near a very haunted forest (inspired by きくお/kikuo's 深い森のなかで/In A Deep, Dark Forest) the witch's house au - thatcher is ticked into swapping bodies with an alt, that alt now walking around as him looking for its next victim. ruth is the only one who notices dream sweet au - thatcher hallucinates everyone living in a sky-like area and everyone survives. snaps back into reality once ruth reveals to him that she's actually dead (inspired by dream sweet in sea major by ミリカルミュージカル/miracle musical) (merged w angel au) yellow wallpaper au - both jude and lynn survive, but lynn has so much trauma now. jude just happens to be here too channel 3 subplot au - eric sanchez is a slay man that goes through the horrors

on friday i found seven of the 5-6 yr old girls I look after at work screaming and kicking and yelling in the fairy garden at the small fairy door painted into the wall DEMANDING the fairies open up immediately to say hello. i informed them that the fairies would not take kindly to this and would likely cast mean spells on them if they kept doing that and explained that if they wanted to gain the fairies favour they had to leave gifts.

by the end of the day all of them had deposited: small letters made of card coloured in with tiny messages, rocks covered in glue and glitter, flowers and petals from around the school and a little paper heart by the fairy door.

i went home and largely forgot about what happened after a bunch of stuff happened to me over the weekend. come tuesday (yesterday) i arrive at work at 3pm and set up the tables and IMMEDIATELY one of the two sets of twins that left gifts for the fairies ran up to me to say that their presents were STILL there and that the fairies had NOT responded which meant that must mean the fairies HATED THEM. at which point i realized my mistake.

so 3 hours later i gather up the flower petals and rocks and hide them away and go into town and spend 30 minutes in a collective pop up shop until ive found 7 unique small marble-cut gemstones. keep them in my bag.

cut to today i arrive at work and walk by the girls as theyre saying goodbye to the teacher. i manage to hide the gemstones in a hole under a pile of leaves. head back to let them know that theres been an update!!! i walked past the garden on my way to work and their presents were gone!!! And all that was left was a supicious parcel of leaves!!!

they SCREAMED at the top of their lungs and ran outside and lost their minds when they found the gems. i, with all my fairy knowledge, was able to identify them (smokey quartz, carnelian, aventurine etc) and made the connection that 7 gems must mean one for each girl! Yay!

after choosing the ones they liked they all. immediately came to the conclusion that they now had superpowers associated with these gems. and then bolted off and ran around the school and told everyone hanging around about the gems and the fairies. their teachers and the principal and, most importantly, every other child in the program that day.

i have now bought 3 more little marble cut gems to swap out with a glitter rock and tiny, fairy sized cards. i have a list on my phone to keep track of who got which to prevent gemstone double ups. i see many, many more of these hellish marbles in my future, i fear.

Jun, Kiyoshi, Miyuki, and Akane tenses up looking at the anon hearing them insult her that Hanoka said nothing hearing this. Did this anon think she was weak? Seriously? Kiyoshi looks to his twin sister but she didn't say anything while she slowly rests a hand on her hip looking quiet.

"......."

'This anon's fucked up..' Akane thought worried seeing Hana not speak.

'Why do anons do this!? They know some have triggers and this one hit hers..' Kiyoshi thought seeing his twin sister not saying anything but she speaks quietly.

".....Really? You think Shiro married a weak woman huh?.......hmmm....."

She didn't look up to the anon but lifts her head showing a gentle yet cold smile on her face with eyes closed. Yeah, the anon pissed Hanoka off. She walks over to look at the anon but before the others said anything, she delivers a sudden kick to the anon that sends them flying into a wall and through it to a brick wall. She lowers her leg to slowly walk over to the wall while having a deadly silver aura around her body. This fucker upset the silver blood rose.

She walks to step out crushing the rubble under her shoes but that's when the anon tries to move she begins delivering heavy brutal kicks and punches to the anon that the others watching felt their hearts drop seeing Hanoka beating the shit out of the anon. Breaking every bone in their body while she was proving her point. She was pretty fast delivering each attack with no mercy while she was attacking the anon. Her hair moving as she moves but it covers her upper face while attacking.

They saw blood spill and seeing the brick wall cracking from each kick she threw at the anon before kicking them up in the air but she jumps up to do a front flip and bring her foot down slamming it into the anon's chest to the ground.

She crashed down with the anon while dirt and smoke shows around the area but they felt the estate shake seeing this. Kiyoshi, Jun, Miyuki, and Akane blinks seeing this but sees the smoke clearing seeing Hanoka having her foot pressing down on the anon's chest while her upper eyes were shadowed but her water blue eyes were monster like. The anon wasn't dead yet so they were lucky. Her hair moving along with the aura that surrounds her.

"........Let me tell you something, you piece of shit. Don't. You. Ever. Call. Me. Weak. I'm not a weak woman and I know my husband can tell as others can. I'm strong enough to beat the living soul out of you if I wanted to but..I'll let you live. Shiro didn't marry a weak woman and from the beat down your ass got, that should prove it...I'm willing to do what it takes to protect all I care for and love. That includes my husband and my daughter..so don't you start thinking it's a lie. They don't call me the silver blood rose for nothing." She looks cold at the knocked out anon to lift her foot up seeing more anons slowly going to get the other out of here and away from Hanoka. She said nothing but sighs to calm down.

"Jerks.." she hissed but Kiyoshi, Miyuki, Akane, and Jun felt pale seeing how violent Hana was. Yeah. Also a good reason not to piss her off.

"Well, that's my twin alright.." Kiyo mutters seeing the aura disappear but Hanoka was alright.

"Fuck..no wonder she got that title......just...damn." Akane mutters feeling afraid for the first time of Hanoka losing it.

"....." Jun and Miyuki said nothing seeing Hanoka alright to blink and keeps her arms crossed.

You loved the second-hand bookstore in Kildare. It sometimes felt like a second home. Its name and sign was by no means magical "Secondhand Books" written in cursive golden letters, but the atmosphere was.

The old converted shop was a treasure trove of wonders, tucked away in a little side alley. It smelt like an old library with its shelves filled with countless stories and adventures waiting to be picked up and read. There were plants dotted all around, and even ivy tangled amongst the fairy lights on the ceiling.

Mixed matched lamps, tables, and plush armchairs were scattered around. If you caught Ms. Peggy, on a good day, she would let you sit and read until closing. The old lady enjoyed your company, often making you tea and giving you cookies.

You returned the favour by helping clean, unbox shipments, and take orders. You never accepted a penny from her, even if it was desperately needed it.

"Wheeze, why are we here?" You knew that voice as it carried through the aisles. "The store up the road has brand new books, not these dusty, old shit ones."

"They aren't dusty. Some are old. But none are shit." the youngest Cameron's voice protested. "I like it here. Plus, there is no chance of finding first editions of classics in that one"

"Just look online." Rafe sighed as you peaked around the corner.

He stood close to the door, which bell had jingled as they entered, with his hands stuffed in his shorts pockets. The backwards baseball cup gave him a boyish charm as his sunglasses were tucked into the collar of his pink tee.

He looked a little out of place, but only by his uninterested expression. Rafe Cameron would most likely fit in anywhere if he wasn't jugding his surroundings.

Wheezie, on the other hand, had a smile so bright as she practically skipped into the store. "There is no fun in that. You can't smell the books"

"You're a weird kid, Wheeze." Rafe shook his head, but you caught the small smile as he watched his baby sister happily search the shelves.

"Shut up and help look for Little Women." Wheezie called over her shoulder. "Make sure it's first edition"

You were shocked as Rafe chuckled and held up his hands before helping Wheezie look. He checked the higher shelves that she was unable to reach.

One problem with Ms. Peggy was her store had no order to it. You had offered to organise and arrange in alphabetical order, but she claimed it took away the magic of finding the perfect book.

"Here." You smiled as you approached Wheezie. Rafe had given up looking about 20 minutes ago and was slumped in an armchair, scrolling on his phone. "It's not a first edition, but the cover is beautiful."

"Oh. It's beautiful!" Wheeze smiled, taking the book and admiring the cover. "It's ok, I just said that, so it would give me more time in here." she whispered, making you laugh.

Your laugh caught Rafe’s attention as he quickly glanced up from his phone. His eyes looked you up and down.

Damn, how did you look so beautiful. He was sure he'd seen the crop top you were wearing on Kie before, but it looked so much better on you. He loved the way your shorts hugged your ass and waist. He even smiled a little at the shell anklet at the top of your greyish white Converse.

"You find it?" He asked, having shook the thoughts from his mind and tucking his phone into his back pocket.

"Yeah, Miss Maybank helped me," Wheezie smiled, remembering her manners, even if you were the same age as Sarah. "But I wanna look around some more."

Rafe sighed and rolled his eyes at her pleading look. "Alright, fine. One hour, and then we gotta go."

As Wheezie bounced around the store, he flopped back into the chair, even picking up a book from the table and glancing at it.

What you didn't realise was that as you looked away, he would glance over the top of the book every so often and watched as you moved around the store. He noticed that you would read the back of a book, flick to the first page before smiling and tucking under your arm if you like it.

"Just the one, Ms Peg." You smiled at the old lady behind the till before digging into your old, tattered, looking tote bag and pulling out your purse.

"I can put the others to the side for you, dear." She offered as you had walked up to the till with a pile of five.

"It's ok. If they are gone by next week, then it wasn't meant to be." You said as handed her the cash.

You didn't know why you even admitted to buying all five as you should have known your card would bounce. Maybe this time, you had just been hoping that Luke, your father, hadn't run up the credit bill.

You wished a goodbye to Wheezie as she walked up the counter with a pile of books and even gave Rafe a smile and wave as you left the store.

The sound of a dirt bike coming up the road broke you out of the world you were emersied in. You had been reading your new book on the creaky old porch swing on the porch outside. Enjoying the evening coolish before sunset.

At first, you thought it was JJ coming home, but then you realised he'd come home an hour ago with John B and Pope. You could hear them laughing in the house.

"JJ?!" You called into the window open as you stood up, placing your book on your blanket. "Are you guys expecting anyone?"

You were a little nervous as unplanned visits from people not in the Twinkie or Kie's car normally meant your father or JJ had caused trouble.

The rider stopped a few feet away, and your eyes widened in shock as Rafe Cameron removed his helmet. His hair tousled from the helmet and his cheeks little pink.

"Rafe?" You frowned and hugged your hoodie around your body as you hid your hands in your sleeves.

He looked a little unsure of himself as he walked over to you, a cotton tote bag in his hand. "These are for you." He held the bag out to you as he glanced around, not looking at you directly.

You took the bag, completely confused before gasping as you looked inside. It was the books you had to leave at the store.

Before you even had a chance to question it or say thank you, the screen door burst open as JJ came flying out "What the fuck are you doing here, Kook?"

You tried to pull him back as he got right in Rafe’s face "Jayj. Stop"

JJ looked between you and Rafe "What the fuck did he say to you?" He asked you before turning to Rafe again "What'd you say?"

"What's it to you, Pogue" Rafe looked like he was trying to hold back his anger but with JJ right in his personal space it was hard.

"Stay away from my sister, pretty boy" JJ pushed Rafe a little "Get the fuck outta here"

John B and Pope appeared in the doorway but before they could back up JJ, you got between the two that were squaring up to each other.

You stood with your back to Rafe as you spoke to JJ but could feel him breathing heavily behind you.

"Jayj. Go back inside" You sighed and got annoyed as he stared at Rafe over your head "JJ, go the fuck back inside. I will call if I need you"

It took you actually pushing JJ a little for him to snap out of it. He looked at you before nodding "He tries anything. We beat him. He's on our terf now"

You rolled your eyes "I'm sure, he won't. But sure, you boys can protect your territory if needed"

You knew Rafe was taking a risk being in The Cut, especially after the stunt he pulled the other week. You knew why the boys were bitter as you hadn't been too happy either after finding out he'd jumped Pope at the Country Club.

You watched JJ walk backwards and stand on the porch with the others. You sighed before turning to face Rafe.

"I can't take these." You held the bag out to him, but he stook his head.

"They're yours," He said, rubbing the neck of his neck. He seemed nervous and not because of the boys glaring at him from the porch. "Bin them, read them, do whatever you want with them."

You looked in the bag again before smiling. "Thank you, Rafe." You smiled at him.

"I better go." He sighed after nodding at your thanks. He looked like he wanted to say more but walked back to his bike

"Bye," JJ yelled. "Don't come back. The Cu- Ow!" You cut him off as you shoved into his shoulder

"You guys are fucking unbelievable" You muttered walking into the house, leaving them looking offerened at each other.

As you sat on your bed, you pulled the books out of the bag before finding a note, tucked into one of them. Your heart fluttered as you read it.
