You were horrible at spearing, lacked patience and hated being in the water. You found it challenging to spear from under the water so today you were meeting with one of the Sully brothers in efforts to perfect your skill. The Sullys would have spent some time at the reef with the Metkayina clan which meant their hunting and warrior activities were improved, much better than the Omatikaya clan.
Your father, one of the head warriors requested that Jake or his sons to teach his daughter, you, the art, skills and ways of the water. You hated being in the water, the thought of not being able to see clearly, whatever is lurking. Your movements were slowed in the water. You were an agile hunter, that did well in the canopy and in the sky. However, the watery terrain was your weakest. You couldn’t help but feel as if your father was ashamed of your lack of skill, which is why he requested the lessons be in private.
You huffed as you walked through the trail. Your training was starting today. You were told to meet the Sullys by one of the larger lakes, west of the colony, closer to the mountains. The lake was selected as it was one of the more controlled environments and also secluded.
“Y/N!” you hear a familiar voice call for you as you parted the vegetation to access the lake. Your hand slowly reaching for the knife tucked by your waist.
“It’s me, Loak.”
You turned around to meet eyes with the youngest Sully brother. He flashed you a grin. His braids dangling from the side of his head, the remaining of the braids tucked behind his head into one.
“Oh it’s you, I was expecting your dad or your brother.”
“You sound disappointed.”
“NO!” Your eyes widen and your hands wave frantically.”
He smirked his eyes scanning your body to then meet your eyes. “I’m just teasing you y/n.” You suddenly felt self-conscious, wishing you paid attention a bit more to your attire and unkempt hair. Your beaded top, which hardly concealed your breasts, didn’t even match your loincloth, which was tied loosely around your curvy hips, exposing a little of your v-line.
“Ready y/n?’’ Lo’ak called out, “Hope you brought spare clothes.”
“Erm, It’ll dry off on our way back home.”
He chuckled as he beaconed you with his muscular arms, he slowly stepped in the lake walking towards the middle. Soon water was up to his waist. You shuddered at the thought of being in the dark, cold water. You took a huge breath as you marched your way through the water towards him.\
“Slow down, y/n, you’re gonna scare away the fish.” His arm our stretched for you to hold his hand.
You grab his hand for support, fear slowly seeping in, the cold making you shiver. His hand felt so calloused and firm, you looked down to see his veins protruding on his forearm. His toned arms guide you slowly, his hand losing yours to place them on your lower back. You looked up to him but his concentration was on the water, looking down, stopping at the spot. The water was now up to your belly button, but that’s because you were shorter than Lo’ak.
He obviously recognized the discomfort on your face as you squirmed whenever your feet touched something slimy or unknown. You looked around scanning the water, worried about the unknown species lurking below.
“Relax bro, there are just fishes and aquatic weeds in here.” He chuckled, raising your chin to meet his eyes.
You shot him a fake smile. Not willing to admit your apparent discomfort.
Alright, we’ll start off with spearing. He handed you the spear, showing you the position to take. You try to follow but tumble to your side after losing your balance. You shrieked. Lo’ak instantly dropped the spear in an attempt to catch you. His hands grab your waist. You felt tense, the immediate skinship causing you to feel flustered, an immediate warmth crept up on your face.
He smirks. “Let me guide you.” His voice is low as he walks behind you. “You need to be calm, relaxed, still.” His arm reaches up to guide your arms. Once you grip the spear to his liking, his hand moves below your chest, gliding to right above your belly button, he presses his rough fingers lightly into your stomach. “Your core should be strong, firm, tight.” The last word whispered into your ear, his lips brushing across your ear.
You rolled your eyes in his attempt to make you nervous.
“Stay quiet, stay still, eyes on the water, feel the movement with your feet.” He whispered into your other ear, his chest now pressed into your back, his hand on your lower back, the other raising your elbow slightly higher.
You shaped out loud, your eyes widened, you dropped the spear once more.
“Ugh y/n, you need to be still and qui-“
“Shh” you shrieked, “I think something just swam.” You’re frozen in fear.
“Well duh, that’s you feeling-“
“No, something just swam up my loincloth.” You whispered worry consuming you.
“Oh shit.” He immediately removed himself from behind you to come face to face. Your hands now in midair, your eyes wide in shock.
“Don’t worry, y/n, just stay still.”
You breathed out. “Okay okay, what are you gonna do?”
“Just stay calm, I’m gonna reach it and pull it out.”
“Whaatt?!” you yelled, but you suddenly felt it squirm in between your legs. “Omg it feels like a snake, get it out Lo’ak.” You yelled frantically, your arms now griping on his strong shoulders, nails dicking into his back.
“Alright y/n, keep your eyes on me.” He says as he slowly tugs on the waistline of your loincloth, his fingers trailing downwards. You couldn’t focus on whether to feel embarrassed or scared, as you felt the creature maneuver in your loincloth. You curse yourself for not tying it tighter. Lo’ak’s arm drops to your ass cheek as if to support you, protecting yo from stumbling back. You glared at him. He smirked at you.
“You’re enjoying this aren’t you.” You whispered.
“A little y//n, cant believe I get to be so intimate with one of the hottest girls in the clan.”
“Just get it out, pleeassee.”
You feel his hand go lower, your eyes widen as you feel him touch your cunt. In one swift movement you feel him grab the creature, yank his hands out your loincloth, and hold up the wriggling creature. In his hands was an eel fish, covered in bioluminescent spots. He takes one look at it before he throws it in the opposite direction.
You yelp in fear. Before you know it you hurdle yourself towards the shore, cxompletely grossed out as you can still feel the eel squirming.
Lo’ak observes you as you shake uncontrollably, your hands rubbing your body as if to wash away the touch of the eel. He follows you to shore. Your face in obvious disgust. He grabs your wrist in an attempt to calm you down.
“Breath y/n.”
Your eyes met with his, now completely ashamed you drop your face.
“I never took you as one to be afraid.” He laughs.
You pull away from him as you reach for your loincloth to tie it tigheter. In your mind the lesson was over, there was no way he can get you back into the water. He snathces your hand once more.
“I need to look at it.”
Bewildered you blurted out
“Exxxcccuussseee me?!”
“Those eels are known to secrete toxins through their skin.”
“You’re kidding me.” Worry crept across your face.
“No y/n, it can cause swelling and muscular paralysis, let me check, one of the telltale signs is a pink rash and swelling.
“Oh Ewya.” You sighed. This just keeps getting worse. How much more humiliation can you take you thought to yourself.
Lo’ak guides you to the ground, his hand cushioning your head as he pushes you onto the ground. He unties your loincloth, cold air hitting your flesh, your legs bent towards you, your knees in the air. He pushes your leg apart so he can see your in your naked glory. You cover your eyes to avoid taking in the slight. He traces his fingers over your upper thigh to then your cunt.
“Anything?” you called out, eyes still covered.
Lo’ak doesn’t respond.
You open your eyes and propped yourself up with your elbows. Lo’ak pushes you back down with one hand.
“Nothing so far, but do I have permission to check, you know, in between?” he asked cautiously. His voice a little huskier than usual.
“Just get it over with.”
You feel his calloused finger’s part your folds, sending shivers down your spine. His finger brushed across your clit and traced it’s way to your entrance. The sudden touch awakens your arousal and you can feel a familiar heat began to pool.
“Well, y/n, you look good, no swelling, but you seem to be having another problem. “He groaned. He didn’t remove his hand from your lower region, his fingers began to massage at the entrance. You gasp, raising up once more. He removes his two digits to show you your slick oozing from his fingers. He smirks as he abruptly pushes his two digits into you. The most pornographic moan escape your lips, your body betraying you.
Lo’ak’s smirk grows bigger as he feels you soak his fingers with your slick. He positions himself in between your legs to tower you. His fingers still inside you as his lips snatches yours in a hungry and passionate kiss. “Tell me you want it y/n”. You sink into the lust and kiss him back, your tongues dancing with each other, teeth gnashing. His fingers pick up the pace causing you to moan into his kisses. He pulls away to lose your top, exposing your supple breasts.
He reaches to place a nipple into your mouth causing you to throw your head back. Your exposed neck tempts him as he moves towards your collar bone then to your upper neck leaving trails of hickies. You couldn’t care less as you enjoyed the moment. It’s been months since you’ve felt the touch of another male. The last person to please you was your ex, Tishalo, but since his betrayal, you’ve stayed away from any male companionship in efforts to heal. However, you have always found yourself attracted to the Sullys, and this was your chance to have one of them.
You grab the back of Lo’ak’s neck, forcing him down to give you another kiss. “ I want you Lo’ak!” He doesn’t deny you, he swiftly grabs you by the hips as he lowers himself, hovering above you above him, his braids cascading down his face, he sneered. You catch on and you straddle him, driven by lust, you continue to kiss him grinding on his restrained member. Your hands find the string of his loincloth to undo it. His member slaps against his v-line stomach, you look at it in awe. It was bigger than you expected, longer than you expected, decorated with veins.
“What are you waiting for y/n, take this cock in you now.”
You grab his member by the base positioning it in your entryway. You gasp as you lower yourself on his thick meat. Stretching you out you don’t move, allowing yourself to adjust to his size. He impatiently grabs your hips and begins to mercilessly thrust into you. Your breast bounced at each thrust, the ungodly moans escaping your pretty, parted lips.
“Tell me you like this cock in you y/n”
“Oh yess Lo’ak, yeeeesss, fuucck meee.” You breathed, your eyes rolling back. You stop bouncing, grinding you hips onto his dick, leaving a trial of wetness on his pelvis. He lifts you up off him, pushing you onto your fours. Lo’ak hovers over your back pushing your face towards the ground, hand gripping at your waist as he angles you to take his dick. Your arms outstretched onto the ground, nipples rubbing onto the forest floor.
“Beg for it mama” He hums into you ear.
“Fill me upLo’ak I want you soo baad.” You cry out.
You arch your back as you feel him enter you again. His rapid thrusts causes you to mewl. Your hips begin to move simultaneously with his as you bring yourself down harder onto him, the knot in your stomach getting stronger, your high was near.
“Lo’ak im gonna cummm” you scream, your walls fluttering onto his cock. He reaches over to rub your clit, thrusting harder into you, sending you over the edge, you cream onto his cock.
“That’s it mama.” He grunts as he gives you one hard thrust pulling at your hair, spilling his seeds onto your back.
You turn around to see his chest heaving, sweat dripping from his brow as a sinister grin plaster across his face.
“Y/n you should know that that eel, it wasn’t toxic.”
Your eyes widen and mouth drops, unable to from any coherent word, you stare at Lo’ak as he gets up to wash off in the lake.

“ Floating Predator “ // © Paul Nicklen
“ Like many of our planet’s top predators, crocodiles are often cast as villains in media headlines and popcorn movies, creating a reputation they just don’t deserve. They have served a vital function in maintaining the balance of aquatic ecosystems across the world for millions of years. Sadly, their populations have been steadily pushed out of their home habitats by rampant development projects and poaching. Recent efforts to protect American crocodiles like this one have helped their numbers recover, but they still remain vulnerable as threats to their environments continue to grow. In Cuba’s Gardens of the Queen, however, crocodiles can enjoy the area’s strict protections along with an incredible diversity of healthy wildlife.”

Meet the Remnant, my "slugcat" oc. Because I have no sense of moderation, it has an entire campaign loosely mocked up in my head- I don't have the modding ability or time to make anything of it but I enjoy thinking about it! The two iterators on the sheet are the central npcs of the campaign.
Remnant is larger, more aquatic, and faster on all fours than a slugcat. It struggles to use the same tools, carries items in its mouth, and can eat batnip and bubble weed. And, though it doesn’t know it, it is one of the last four of its kind left.
More about the campaign below VVV
BONUS: Remnant obviously resembles a slugcat, and they are sort of a slugcat ancestor! The genomes of the pipe slugs slugcats evolved from had remnant DNA as well as the simple tool-worm base that ancients used for many creatures. The blueprints were present in the modified organisms, and over several generations and mutations began to express themselves once more. Anyway…
To start, the Remnant is living with their family in an idyllic natural landscape much like survivor and monk at the beginning of their campaigns. The incident kickstarting their journey would be them wandering off from their kin and- gameplay starts here- getting lured off by something interesting, before the wall closes quickly behind them and the player realizes they have been trapped. They find themselves in a crate lined with wet plant matter, which gets shaken and turned around for a bit before settling down. It continues with a gentler rattling and remnant is clearly being taken somewhere, but the game acts like you're in a den and, once you've eaten the food set out for you in there, you sleep.
You are woken when the train carrying you crashes. You are able to escape and wind up in a light drizzle. Numerous overseers, some purple and others seafoam green, follow you around. The artificial, dilapidated surroundings are alien to the remnant.
During the first cycle an overseer will direct you to the nearest den, but you don’t have a rain timer until the first time you hibernate. You’ve never experienced rain like this before, after all.
The fact is that the remnant and their family are primal fauna, from the old world before bioengineering and iterators. They have spent their whole lives in a carefully controlled environment, maintained at first by ancients and then the systems the ancients left behind. The mass ascension happened, and nobody really knew what to do with these creatures- depending on the species, animals in captivity were generally released to fend for themselves or set for years of being maintained by machines scheduled in advanced, automated to care for them.
Remnant is taken when the iterator Ink Stained Palms orders a specimen of one relatively hardy species to study and potentially have the rest delivered to their regions. Something goes wrong- their delivery is sabotaged by their semi-active former senior, Calls To Stony Skies. And out Remnant goes into an alien land, with each of the two rival iterators trying to lure or force it to go to them.
This generally takes the form of projections like Iggy uses to get the slugcats to Moon, though it’s two different kinds of overseer guiding you in opposite directions at the same time. There may also be introduced environmental hazards- some of the chases in Little Nightmares come to mind- to corral you toward wherever the iterator causing it wants you to go.
ISP was the one who was getting the remnant delivered to her facility. They’re a bioengineer interested in long-term ecosystem restoration. It’s come to believe there’s a natural ‘balance’ to the world that could, in time, let living things leave the cycle of their own accord if it was realigned properly.
CTSS is in a condition not unlike spearmaster moon, though his decline has been steadier and over a longer period of time. They’ve been replaced by another iterator as group senior, and derailed your journey in the hopes of using a rare animal as collateral to get ISP’s help. Watching the remnant’s struggle to survive, however, he ends up very attached to it and can’t bring himself to kill it as he originally planned to.
Though they might want to, CTSS can’t save the remnant from a more insidious fate. The air, the soil, the water itself is toxic to you, whose kind has lived countless generations shielded from the heavy metal byproducts of industry and the artificial metabolisms of those great boxes in the sky. Ascension is an option, but so is going to ISP, whose body itself possesses a complex with artificial environments much like the one you began in. It can’t protect the remnant fully, but it can offer them a longer life. There are multiple endings to the campaign, based on the order you visit the iterators in.
If you read all this thank you so much and feel free to send questions!! About my little guys.

“Remember the earth whose skin you are: red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth brown earth, we are earth. Remember the plants, trees, animal life who all have their tribes, their families, their histories, too. Talk to them, listen to them. They are alive poems.” - Joy Harjo, Native American Poet Laureate
Getting in Earth Day art just under the wire! The five dancers represent the five main biomes of Earth: Tundra, Aquatic, Desert, Grassland, & Forest. My hope was to demonstrate the power and fragility of each environment as they balance precariously against each other—or perhaps *alongside* each other. Either way, we’re all part of the dance. 🌎❤️

Hasan's arrival was akin to the overture of a grand performance; his warm, welcoming smile and the gleam in his eyes assured you that this date would be a memory etched in your hearts forever.
Your first destination was the mesmerizing coral reef exhibit, a dazzling underwater tapestry of life. The hues of the coral ranged from the delicate pastels of a painter's palette to the vivid, almost otherworldly, colors that one could only find beneath the sea. As you both entered this aquatic sanctuary, you couldn't help but feel like intrepid explorers stepping into an alien realm.
The atmosphere inside the exhibit was nothing short of tranquil and enchanting. Subdued lighting emphasized the ethereal beauty of the coral, while the gentle swaying movements of the fish added a hypnotic rhythm to the environment. The entire space felt like a sanctuary of tranquility, a window into the world below the surface.

Dreams of scuba diving united your visions of the future. Hasan shared his desire to explore coral reefs up close and witness the diverse marine life thriving beneath the surface. You, too, harbored a yearning to delve into the depths of the ocean, to experience the weightless sensation and discover the hidden wonders of the underwater world. Your shared aspirations painted a vivid picture of future adventures.
Amidst the discussions of documentaries and scuba diving dreams, the weight of responsibility and conservation efforts lay heavy on your minds. Hasan's profound understanding of marine ecosystems and the threats they faced became evident as he elaborated on the urgent need for conservation. He spoke about the impact of pollution, over-fishing, and climate change, emphasizing the delicate balance that had to be maintained to protect the oceans.
As your unforgettable day at the aquarium drew to a close, you and Hasan decided to explore the charming gift shop, a treasure trove of marine-themed souvenirs that promised to be the perfect mementos of your date. The shop was adorned with shelves of marine life-inspired trinkets, from delicate snow globes to plush sea creatures that seemed to beckon with their soft, cuddly allure.
Your eyes twinkled with excitement as you both browsed through the array of keepsakes. There were miniature replicas of the marine animals you had encountered earlier, intricately crafted seashell necklaces, and even intricately designed seashell ornaments that glistened under the store's soft lighting.
Hasan's enthusiasm was evident as he helped you explore the myriad options. His eyes sparkled with playful anticipation, and he suggested various items that might serve as wonderful reminders of your day together. The two of you shared knowing glances and exchanged playful banter as you considered each choice, the connection between you growing stronger with every shared moment.
It was then that Hasan's gaze fell upon a display of plush sea creatures, each one cuter than the last. With a warm and affectionate smile, he gently picked up a large shark plushie, its eyes filled with an innocent charm. Hasan's thoughtful gesture took you by surprise, and a warm feeling of affection welled up inside you. It was a perfect embodiment of the day you had spent together - filled with wonder, shared experiences, and the promise of many more adventures to come.
As Hasan presented you with the huge shark plushie, your heart practically melted with the sweetness of the gesture. It was a heartwarming symbol of your date, a tactile reminder of the enchanting journey you had undertaken, and the beginning of a shared collection of memories that you would treasure together. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day, leaving you both with a token of your time together, and the promise of many more memories to create in the future.

Tips for Preparing Your Home for Scare Clowns
Say hello to Mr P, a funkopop lineage scare bred to of course look like the latest cinematic version of Stephen King's infamous character, Pennywise. I don't normally choose to support funkopop due to their over breeding of scares and low support for keepers. I've seen plenty of first time clown keeper's have a lot of trouble with these tough critters and it always ends in tears.
To help deter the recent trend of irresponsible people dumping their semi-aquatic scare clowns in local sewers, I've written this blog as a basic care guide for this fierce but adorable breed.
Are Scare Clowns Good Pets?
I hate to say it, but the short answer is a firm no. While there are breeders capable of producing lineages of docile clowns with scare looks, it's debatable among scare enthusiasts if this practice produces a true member of the breed or if it's even humane. Scares of purer breeding are for all practical purposes a wild animal.
Generally speaking, they don't want your atte tion, they don't want snacks, and they most certainly don't want cuddles. While individuals will of course vary, most scare clowns are highly territorial, completey solitary, and primarily they want to hunt and to terrify. It's just what they do and their raw personalities and high intelligence are what make them so appealing to their die hard fans (like me! 🤡💖).
So if you're looking for a companion or a funny friend, think twice before choosing a spooky clown. Except in very rare cases, you will end up heartbroken and possibly faces high fees for endangering the local wildlife and your neighbors.
Can Scare Clowns be Kept in an Urban or Suburban Setting?
If you ask a scare clown, they'll probably tell you, yes certainly yes. This is because they are hardwired to scare-- hence the breed name! They actually want to be in denser populated areas so they can terrify unsuspecting people and stalk stray ankmald easier. And that should answer the question enough for any sane person: no, scare clowns should be kept far from densely populated areas.
Ideally scare clowns do best in a large piece of land where they can lurk, frolic, and feed off of small wild animals such as rabbits, squirrels, and mice. Five or more acres of partially wooded land is ideal for containing a scare clown and also ensuring the land won't be depleted by their needs. Any smaller a space and you can expect to need to supplement their diet with store bought meat, else keep a very close eye on the dog!
I personally keep a group of scare clowns on a much smaller space, but it's lightly populated and densely wooded. It's a delicate balance, but as an experienced scare clown keeper I can just manage it. I don't recommend doing so for new keepers as you'll cause undue stress to yourself and your clowns.
Can Scare Clowns be Kept Indoors?
At this point it should be very clear that scares are not house clowns. However if you're like me and live in an area that is frequently dangerously cold, this may not be so clear a cut. It takes a lot of brave breeders and keepers to make sure that the population of scares out there are cared for and aren't left up to their own devices in the wild. What's more, keeping scares in a cold region keeps them at bay as its much easier for a young scare to escape and become invasive in a milder climate.
Keeping scares indoors during poor weather can actually help deter the worst of their nastier behavior. They won't ever be tame, but there comes a point in your relationship where they accept that you are just part of the environment and mean them no harm. This is when it gets really fun to keep scares as they will haughtily stalk by you while snooping around. They're a joy to watch even if the humor comes more from enjoying their sour moods than the lighthearted joy we expect from clowns.
Yes you can keep scares indoors, but consider it strictly a necessity. They should be free to come and go as they please, weather permitting. When stuck indoors, ensure they have their own space which is kept dark and quiet at all times. Avoid going into that space altogether. If you must go in, announce yourself gently and listen for them to find a hiding space before turning on the light and entering.
Lastly, be sure to pass by the spaces where they are at least once a day. Linger by areas where they like to lurk so they have ample time to jump scare you. While trapped indoors, they still need a lot of stimulation.
I hope that's cleared up a lot of questions anyone has had about potentially adopting a scare clown! They're a tough breed but they are clever, witty, and fun in their own very special way.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to comment, reblog, or ask!

Retrograde Revision 3: Arctic Druid
Tumblr media
(art by WillOBrian on DeviantArt)
From the arctic tundra to permafrost-laden taiga forests, the cold of the extreme polar regions is a beautiful and foreboding sight, being yet another extreme environment where nature makes deadly demands of the creatures that would dare live there. And yet animals and even plants can thrive there.
And of course, where there are both the elemental forces and the life that is adapted to survive them, you will find druids.
That’s right, we’re bringing back another terrain druid archetype in retrograde revision, one of the two categories of similarly-themed archetypes the druid was known for in the early days of archetypes, alongside the animal shaman category, and this time we’re heading into the cold deserts of the northern and southern parts of most planets.
Like other druids, their arctic counterparts do revere nature, but in particular they revere the beauty of the ice and snow, the harsh and deadly power of it’s storms, the tenacity of the life that dares to thrive there, and the preciously brief moments of verdant life that peek through during the (relatively) warmer months in the warmer edges of the regions.
In the arctic, there is no room for misplaced mercy or frivolity, as a failed hunt or poorly-planned expedition can lead to a slow death, so while they are far from humorless, arctic druids treat the world around them very seriously, and expect those that travel with them to do the same.
As one might expect, these druids are extremely knowledgeable about their home terrain and able to survive, scout, and hide within with great skill, and they can even hide their tracks even through snow.
With a combination of balance and supernatural blessing, they also can move and act on icy terrain with no inhibition to their mobility, and can even walk on thin ice and snow crusts without breaking through.
They also become inured to the cold and resistant to the effects of bright light, preventing snowblindness and consequently protecting them from other dazzling effects.
Though the arctic regions are far from lifeless, there isn’t a lot to mimic up there, so with that and the power of their other abilities in mind, these druids are slightly slower to learn how to wild shape than others.
They can also see perfectly in both natural and unnatural snowy weather, and can prepare icy versions of fiery druidic spells to bring the freezing wrath of the polar regions against their foes (though they can still prepare the hot versions if those would be more useful.
More powerful individuals can also transform into living snow flurries, their swirling snow bodies perfect for not only avoiding physical harm but also disappearing into a snowstorm.
Much like other terrain druid archetypes, this option makes the most sense if the majority of the campaign takes place in the biome type in question, though that’s not to say it’s worthless. In their home terrain they are unparalleled trackers and are extremely maneuverable when even other natives would have difficulties. Meanwhile, even outside of that environment, the ability to prepare fire spells as cold can be extremely useful if you need answers to foes that are resistant to fire or vulnerable to cold, particularly if you want to pack spells that don’t also produce hazards the rest of the party cannot deal with. Speaking of which, spells like sleet storm and ice storm are very good at higher levels for giving you a way to hide in flurry form, which could be good for attacking foes from stealth before vanishing again. Additionally, both animal and domain bonds are quite useful here, the former getting tanky bears and mammoths, flanking wolves, aquatic pinniped or cetaceans, or agile arctic birds of prey, while the latter potentially adding useful elemental options, including the arctic terrain domain.
Like I said before, these druids are pragmatic survivalists first, but they don’t necessarily need to be ice cold and heartless either. After all, one of the most important adapation of arctic natives is their ability to act communally to survive, staying warm and sharing food when necessary. As such, while some may be harsh indeed, others might be kindly and caregiving, often a bit of both depending on who they are with.
By a fluke of geography, the frozen lands of Svedgard are divide from the sweltering desert of Halqim by a single mountain range. Both nations have chosen to ignore the other… until the day when a rakshasa prince stole the Crown of Ice from the Jarl of Endless Winter’s palace. Now, a creeping wave of ice has begun to spread into the desert, ushered by his arctic druid allies.
In the primitive lands of Draman Kai, druids are worshipped as avatars of nature. One such druid, the Winter Queen, is under siege by the irreligious gnoll hordes of the south, but the local tribes refuse to help, thoroughly convinced that as a goddess, their Queen is untouchable to mere mortals, and she is too prideful to actually ask. If nothing is done, she will eventually be overrun.
No one knows why, but the Whispering Mines, long abandoned by its makers, is said to have begun producing noise again. Some blame a haunting, others claim that bandits or other ne’er do wells have claimed the mine in search of ore the miner’s missed. Either way, no one can approach to verify, for the winds of the pass pick up to hurricane force whenever anyone approaches, a howling voice accompanying them.

Transform Your Yard: The Ultimate Guide to Building a Serene Soaking Pond
The Power of a Soaking Pond
Imagine stepping into your backyard after a long, stressful day. Instead of the usual hustle and bustle, you're greeted by the gentle sound of water cascading over smooth rocks. The air is filled with the soothing scent of nature, and a sense of calm washes over you. This is the magic of a soaking pond—a sanctuary of serenity right in your own yard.
Where to Begin
Selecting the Perfect Spot
Before you grab your shovel and start digging, take some time to carefully choose the location for your soaking pond. Look for an area of your yard that receives partial shade to prevent excessive algae growth and maintain a comfortable water temperature. Additionally, consider the landscape and ensure that the spot you choose complements the overall aesthetics of your outdoor space.
Gathering Your Materials
Building a soaking pond requires a few essential materials, including a pond liner, rocks or gravel, a water pump, and aquatic plants. These elements not only create a beautiful visual but also contribute to the health and balance of your pond ecosystem. Be sure to invest in high-quality materials to ensure the longevity of your pond.
Building Your Soaking Pond
Digging the Foundation
Once you've chosen the perfect location and gathered your materials, it's time to start digging. Use a shovel or excavator to carefully excavate the area, creating a shallow basin for your pond. Aim for a depth of around 18 to 24 inches to ensure ample soaking space without the risk of water overflow.
Installing the Pond Liner
With your foundation dug, it's time to lay down the pond liner. This waterproof barrier will prevent leaks and ensure that your soaking pond retains water effectively. Take care to smooth out any wrinkles or folds in the liner to create a seamless surface.
Adding Natural Elements
Now comes the fun part—adding natural elements to enhance the beauty and functionality of your soaking pond. Start by arranging rocks or gravel along the edges of the pond to create a natural border. These elements not only provide visual interest but also serve as a habitat for beneficial bacteria and aquatic organisms.
Caring for Your Soaking Pond
Water Quality Management
Maintaining pristine water quality is essential for the health and longevity of your soaking pond. Regularly test the water pH and nutrient levels and make adjustments as needed to keep your pond ecosystem in balance. Additionally, consider adding beneficial bacteria and aquatic plants to help filter out impurities and promote a healthy environment.
Algae Control
While a bit of algae is natural in any pond ecosystem, excessive growth can detract from the beauty of your soaking pond. Combat algae blooms by incorporating natural solutions such as barley straw or beneficial bacteria products. Additionally, consider adding shade-loving plants or installing a fountain or waterfall feature to help aerate the water and discourage algae growth.
Embrace Tranquility with a Soaking Pond
In conclusion, building a soaking pond in your yard is a transformative experience that brings peace, tranquility, and natural beauty to your outdoor space. By carefully selecting the perfect location, gathering high-quality materials, and following proper construction and maintenance techniques, you can create a serene oasis that you'll enjoy for years to come.
1. How much space do I need to build a soaking pond?
While the size of your soaking pond can vary depending on your preferences and available space, aim for a minimum depth of 18 to 24 inches and enough surface area to comfortably accommodate multiple people.
2. Do I need to hire a professional to build a soaking pond?
While hiring a professional landscaper or pond builder can streamline the process and ensure optimal results, building a soaking pond is entirely feasible as a DIY project for those with basic construction skills and a willingness to learn.
3. What types of aquatic plants are suitable for a soaking pond?
A variety of aquatic plants can thrive in a soaking pond environment, including water lilies, lotus flowers, iris, and horsetail. Be sure to select species that are well-suited to your climate and water depth to ensure success.

Triseraquins' Headcanon:
(Note: Click ALT to view the image descriptions)
🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
Not only do the Triseraquins socialize with humans and other races, but they also socialize with aquatic-life mammals such as jellywhales, dolphins (like the ones from Season 5), belugas, sea lions, sea otters, and other aquatic life beings. However, for the marine mammals beside jellywhales and dolphins, it is not yet confirmed if they ever existed in Aku's world since evil has been declared as law...but hopefully, they're around in this world, somewhere safe from Aku's tyranny.
In Jack under the Sea, when Jack first arrives at Oceanus (as shown in the image ), all of them are males, but there's no sight of females during Jack's arrival. This gives us a lot of questions:
Tumblr media
Did Genndy Tartakovsky and his crew have a hard time designing the female Triseraquins during their process of making Jack under the Sea episode?
OR
Was the variety of genetic codes (hermaphrodite) from the exposure of a chemical reaction in the ocean environment are the impacts of the Triseraquins' gender hormones (and reproduction systems)?
We may never know for sure, but two of the question could be the ones that'll explained the reason behind the female Triseraquins' absence in Samurai Jack universe.
Tumblr media
Like humans (since they're humanoid beings), finding love can be difficult for the Triseraquins. So they intend to listen to their heart and find someone who'll truly love them back (a sign of true love). And once they find true love, they take a slow step to get to know each other, and soon enough...they'll mate and become lovers to reproduce babies (as shown in the image below uwu).
Tumblr media
Once they mate, Triseraquins will lay 1-6 eggs (the size of a baseball) at once based on the development of the genetic information given by their parents, similar to the ones in human race. For examples:
If Triseraquin laid two eggs, then they're gonna have twins.
If Triseraquin laid four eggs, then they're gonna have quadruplets.
If Triseraquin laid one egg, then they're gonna have the only child in their family but will make more babies when the child loses their tail when getting older.
(Note: Even if it's twins, triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, or sextuplets, they might be either born identical or alternative from each other as they hatch and grow up)
Tumblr media
These eggs will hatch in 4-6 days when the water is at the right temperature (65-70℉ or 18-21℃). Once the eggs hatch, a baby Triseraquin will emerge with a tadpole tail to keep them balanced while swimming.
Eventually, they'll lose their tail once they learn how to walk with their legs as they grow older.
Tumblr media
In ancient times (before the exile event), Triseraquins made peace with the mainland locals, forming a friendship between the two race. This friendship have caused the amphibian beings to have a UK accent from the language of the land-dwellers.
(Note: That's my theory to predict how Triseraquins have a UK accent in the episode of Jack Under the Sea)
According to @teacupballerina's Headcanon lore (with Greek and Roman inspiration in the Samurai Jack series), Triseraquins are either worshiped or have been in direct contact with their ocean god (Oceanus) since ancient times until Aku came by and banished them because he couldn't take control of the Neptune jewel and banishing the ocean god's creation will consider being as a retaliation against them.
Even if Aku banishes them, Triseraquins still have faith in their hearts and continue to pray (to the ocean God) for any signs of hope and freedom.
However Aku soon found out about this and began to deceive them with lies, mocking them that there was no hope for them to be free now that their ocean God could not protect them anymore, meaning that they're now enslaved by the grasps of Aku. This made Triseraquins' hearts tainted by his words as the hope and the chance of being free they held on...vanished.
Tumblr media
As the years of being trapped underwater flew by, Aku visited them once more and decided to make an obligation to the Triseraquins: If they successfully captured his enemy (Samurai Jack) by tricking him into going to the (fake) time machine, they'll be sent back to the surface. But if they fail, there will be consequences for both the city and their families.
Triseraquins aren't sure if he's telling the truth but immediately accepts his obligation since there's no other choice for them to protect their city from Aku's sinister actions.
This pleases Aku as he vanishes into darkness, leaving the City of Oceanus after accepting the obligation. However, one thing Triseraquins didn't realize was that Jack (with the magic sword) would be the one to save them from the enslavement of Aku; Hence the event of Jack Under the Sea was formed in Samurai Jack series.
🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
I hope you enjoy the Triseraquins' (very) long headcanons. If you have any interesting facts or headcanons about them, feel free to comment down below or reblog it! ^w^

So theses are apparently some of the selkies powers, I’m pretty sure this is just for dnd and is not mythological accurate . But out of these powers which would you choose for your selkie au to be Selkie abilities?
Enhanced agility: Selkies are able to go fro one movement to another effortlessly, allowing them to effectively dodge attacks, do backflips, and numerous other gymnastic, martial, and athletic implements with little to no effort.
Enhanced balance: Selkies have an extremely well-developed sense of balance, the positioning of limbs in space, center of balance. and the physical condition to use these facts.
Enhanced bite: Selkies, due to their fangs, have a powerful bite.
Enhanced dexterity: Selkies are able to control their limbs, muscles, and digits extremely well.
Enhanced endurance: Selkies are able to survive with little to no energy for an extended amount of time.
Enhanced reflexes: Selkies have extremely enhanced reaction speed, allowing them to dodge magical attacks, catch falling objects, and react instantaneously to what would take others more time to react.
Enhanced stamina: Selkies are able to be physically active for longer periods of time than most other beings.
Enhanced strength: Selkies are able to exert a great amount of strength from their muscles.
Night vision: Selkies are able to see perfectly in total darkness.
Speed swimming: Selkies are able to swim at incredible speeds, unhampered by water resistance.
Cold immunity: Selkies, being adapted to the ocean, are completely immune to cold.
Pressure resistance: Selkies, being adapted to the ocean, are completely resistant to water pressure, especially at the bottom of the episode.
Water sense: Selkies are able to perceive the movement of/on a body of water with extreme accuracy, and determine where threats are located in aquatic environments and water sources.
Siren song: Selkies, similar to merfolk and cecaelia, are able to sing a song that is capable of hypnotizing anyone that hears it.
Sonic singing: Selkies, similar to merfolk and cecaelia, are able to sing a highly destructive blast of sound at high amplitude.
Water manipulation: Selkies are able to generate, shape, and manipulate water.
Aquatic life communication: Selkies are able to telepathically communicate with aquatic creatures.
1) 2)
Tumblr media
3) Usopp doesn't like the idea of biting people because it makes him feel animal-like and he hates being compared to an animal because He Is Not. Also the nose makes it hard for him to bite people I would imagine. His molars are a little sharper than they maybe should be and he's got pronounced canines but he doesn't have the coral-shaped molars seals (apparently) have. His dad does tho, Buggy too but Buggy shaved his down a bit to hide better in the East Blue
4) yeah he's good at a quick draw but he still trips and stumbles sometimes on land. He's much more graceful in water because there is nothing to trip over
5) About as much as Canon, with is quite a bit.
6) His reflexes are pretty quick because his eyes are better than a human's, it doesn't mean he's perfectly co-ordinated and just because he can see something coming doesn't mean he can dodge without tripping. He gets a bit more graceful post-ts but he grew up without fighting, so he's learning as he goes
7) Yeah he's got more stamina than you would expect, but that's pretty much just canon
8) Stronger than you would think unless you tried picking him up. He can change his appearance but he can't change his weight and seals are 4000 pounds. He's very physically dense, even if he looks like the skinniest 17 year old you've ever seen, so picking up 300 pounds to him is like a normal person picking up 12 pounds he's not athletic pre-ts tho so no picking up twice his body weight or anything. The 1 ton hammer could have been real tho.
9) He does have really good night-vision, he does use his tinted goggles more because seal-eyes are more dilated than humans' and if it's too sunny it hurts his eyes
10) Yep! He can swim just as fast if not faster than most mer-folk
11) 12) He is a bit less resistant to cold and pressure than most selkies because his mother was human. He can stand pressure changes but he needs to take breaks and he can stand cold but can still get hurt when he's frozen.
13) He does have some extra spacial awareness in water, this is just how most selkies naturally pick up observation haki a bit more intuitively
14) Usopp has no idea, he only sings for Luffy but Luffy seems pretty hypnotized so,,,
15) Nope, and Usopp screams a lot
16) No
17) He convinced some of the crew he can, he can't actually

Legend of Zelda Theme Park: Overview and Layout
One of the benefits of the theme park format of location-based entertainment is that the themes provide a guiding logic for grouping and arranging rides and attractions. Unlike a more traditional amusement park, where things get placed wherever there is room for them, a theme park organizes them according to...well, theme. And for The Legend of Zelda, the selection of themes is obvious—since the park represents the kingdom of Hyrule, the themed areas are based on recurring locations and environment types in the game series.
I started with the basics: the Lost Woods, Death Mountain, and Zora’s Domain for the traditional forest/fire/water combo, plus a Castle Town in the middle with Hyrule Castle itself as the backdrop (like I said previously, I learned most of my theme park sensibilities at Disneyland). I also wanted to have a ranch area to bring Epona into the mix (because everyone loves Epona), and I thought there should be a land dedicated to Ganon and the monsters. I sketched out the first iteration of my park map and started developing concepts for attractions, shops, and eateries to go in each area.
But something was missing. The map felt weirdly off-balance to me and I wasn’t sure why. I also felt like there were more themed areas that deserved to be included—the Gerudo Desert and a place for various sky- and flight-related concepts from the LoZ series. I wasn’t able to come up with enough satisfactory attraction ideas for the desert and tabled that idea, but I did pull together material for an area that I decided to call the Skyward Realm and squeezed that into the map. But something was still off…
Finally it hit me: I should be using the Triforce as the basis for my map. No wonder things felt off-balance—I wasn’t using the perfectly symmetrical emblem of the franchise as my design guide! I went back to the drawing board more-or-less literally and came up with what I think is the definitive layout for my park.
At least until I come up with something better...or I finally figure out how to include the Gerudo Desert.
Tumblr media
The Welcome Plaza is immediately past the park entrance. Theming here is relatively light so people can orient themselves before getting thrown into the immersive environments. Most of the park’s major amenities are located here—the information counter, storage lockers, stroller and wheelchair rentals, and a first-aid station.
Castle Town is effectively the hub area, with walkways leading to (nearly) all of the adjacent areas. Hyrule Castle itself is the backdrop and contains several points of interest, but the bulk of the land is Market Square, containing numerous shops, food stalls, and carnival games…“minigames,” if you like. The other areas surround it like the petals of a flower:
The Lost Woods is an enchanted fairy forest, well shaded by the sprawling foliage of the Great Deku Tree and inhabited by Koroks, Deku Scrubs, and other woodsy creatures.
Epona Ranch is a cozy country homestead where guests can interact with live animals, including the Best Horse Ever(TM), Epona herself.
Death Mountain is a rugged volcanic area with many gems and crystals, home to the friendly, boisterous Gorons.
The Skyward Realm is built on a significantly higher elevation than the rest of the park to fulfill its theme as a land in the sky, home to the proud Rito.
Zora’s Domain is an area of open waterways and peaceful natural caverns, where aquatic wildlife is plentiful and the graceful Zoras safeguard the pure waters.
Finally, the Dark World wraps across the back of the park, serving as a place where Ganon(dorf) and his monster minions hold sway, along with other famous LoZ villains.
The thinner line enclosing the central areas of the park is the route taken by one of the rides: the Spirit Train, a handy way to travel around (while seeing some unique sights along the way). The thin rectangles along that line are the stations, serving Castle Town, the Lost Woods/Epona Ranch, Dark World, Death Mountain, and Zora’s Domain.
As for all those other unlabeled rectangles and circles and wedges...don’t worry about it. We’ll get to those later. :)
