Of je nu wil fietsen, hardlopen of allebei het is mogelijk tijdens de MTB Beachrace en Beachrun in Scheveningen. Zo kun je de eerste maand van het nieuwe jaar goed afsluiten, door een frisse neus en sportieve activiteit uit te voeren! De activiteiten zijn zowel voor jongeren als ouderen geschikt. Zondag 28 januari staat voor zowel de recreatiefietser als wedstrijdfietser de MTB Beachrace Scheveningen op de planning. Deze Beachrace is de laatste wedstrijd om te oefenen en te kijken waar je staat voordat op 4 februari het NK plaatsvind, op het strand van Renesse. Het NK is dan ook meteen de afsluiting van het strandrace seizoen. De wedstrijd in Scheveningen gaat om een afstand van bijna 55 kilometer. Fietsen en hardlopen op het strand Naast dat er in de ochtend dan over het strand gefietst zal gaan worden kan er in de middag ook over het strand hardgelopen worden. Dit jaar vindt namelijk de 2e editie van de Beachrun plaats. Tijdens deze Beachrun kan er 7 kilometer gelopen worden of de langere afstand van 14 kilometer. Naast dat ook dit voor zowel de recreant als wedstrijdrenner wordt georganiseerd, vindt er dit jaar ook een Kidsrun plaats! Deze Kidsrun is voor kinderen in 2 leeftijdscategorieën. De eerste groep is voor de kinderen van 5 tot 8 jaar oud en de tweede groep voor kinderen van 9 tot 11 jaar oud. Zij kunnen kiezen voor een ronde van 750 meter of de lange afstand van 1500 meter. Deelnemen aan de Kidsrun is gratis! Flyer MTB Beachrace en Beachrun Scheveningen Nieuw klassement toegevoegd Aan deze editie wordt ook een nieuw klassement toegevoegd. Voor de geoefende sporter is er dit jaar het combiklassement. Doe mee met de MTB Beachrace in de ochtend en neem ook deel in de middag aan de Beachrun van 14km. De sporter die de snelste tijd heeft na het optellen van de tijden wordt tot winnaar bekroond. Naast dat er dus gefietst kan worden of hardgelopen kan er ook gekozen worden om het te combineren. Dit jaar is er namelijk ook het combiklassement. Doe mee met de MTB Beachrace en loop de 14 kilometer hard en de tijden worden bij elkaar opgeteld om de uiteindelijke winnaar te bekronen. Inschrijven MTB Beachrace en Beachrun Inschrijven voor zowel de MTB Beachrace als de Beachrun is nog mogelijk. Wil je nou deelnemen aan dat combiklassement dan dien je beide evenementen los in te schrijven (met de lange afstand voor het hardlopen). Aanmelden voor de MTB Beachrace kan nog via: Scheveningen – mtbbeachrace.nl Aanmelden voor de Beachrun kan nog via: Inschrijven – beachrunning.nl Voor de Kidsrun is aanmelden ook nodig, deelname dus gratis. Aanmelden kan via Kidsrun – beachrunning.nl/kidsrun Elke deelnemer krijgt aan het eind van de wedstrijd, na het succesvol volbrengen van het onderdeel, een medaille als aandenken. Vragen kunnen via de mail gesteld worden door te mailen naar [email protected]. De organisatie hoopt ook jou te zien op het strand de 28e januari!

Een nieuwe disipline in het film aanbod. Beachrun. Voor de organisatie van de MTB Beachrace was dit een mooie try-out aan het eind van de MTB Race op het strand van Scheveningen. 100 Hardlopers stonden klaar voor een run van 7,5 of 15 kilometers.
