If Silver can purr, do you think Sonic and Amy sometimes purr as well? What different things might make them just suddenly start producing sounds of pure joy?

(And also, extremely important question for scientific purposes: Can Shadow purr as well?)

Hedgehogs in real life are able to purr, though it's more of a clicking sound than a cat's purr. I myself don't tend to ascribe non-anthropomorphic tendencies to anthros one-on-one, so for me the Sonic hedgehogs' purrs sound like those of cats, haha. But they can make clicking noises as well! I think Amy purrs the most out of the four of them; she seems like the one who's cheerful and upbeat the most often. So she'll just be making happy purrs to herself when rummaging around the house, training, chasing after Sonic and the like. For Sonic, since he loves running so much, I think he might purr on occasion while travelling through somewhere truly beautiful. But he comes off as more introverted and a bit closed-off at times to me, so he might be much more limited in his purrs than Amy. And I think Shadow is indeed capable of purring, but I figure he hardly ever does it. He might have purred on some occasions when he still lived on the ARK with Maria and Gerald before the massacre there, but in the present day and age, I can scarcely imagine him purring, let alone with the frequency of the other three. But Sonic, Amy and Silver are much more open with it in that regard, with Amy most and Sonic least out of the three of them, so I like to think it's not uncommon to hear little purrs and clicks when they're just out and about or doing things they enjoy!

soooo i spent the last two days with my parents and it was HORRIBLE. being able to feel again now that i‘m off cipralex doesn’t make it any easier to deal with their comments and behavior. like i was numb for so long and now it’s all back and i feel 100000% more vulnerable and emotional than ever. i know it’s the same state i was in before the meds but after three years of me being emotionally dead-ish it all hits even harder cause idk how to deal with it anymore (ye bitch act like you ever knew). i had to lock myself away multiple times so i wouldn’t end up crying infront of them or lashing out and now that i‘m home all i can think about is deleting myself. luckily my bf is here and he gave me lorazepam for damage control/reduction but i still feel like shit
