there are a lot of reasons why i don't see anyone from team rwby becoming maidens—or getting any other significant power-ups for that matter—and while the obvious one is summed up pretty much in "there will be no victory in strength" and the show differentiating between strength and power and how power isn't everything ("you may be powerful, but that doesn't make you strong."), i think what maria says is pretty good indication towards that as well:

"i owe my life to my training, and my semblance. at the end of the day, those are still your most powerful tools."

team rwby getting more powerful by any other means other than what they already have, just so they can win the battle and save the day, kinda goes against everything that has been established so far.

if they're getting any 'power-ups', it's because their semblances will evolve alongside them, because they upgrade their weapons, because of their training.

not because they get powerful magic that turns the tide in an instant.

If your muse suddenly grew wings, what would they look like? (i.e: feathered and bird-like, leathery bat-like wings, insect-like, ect...)

louise would love to have phoenix wings but unfortunately, she doesn't really produce fire so i'll stick with having her wings be seemly angelic in it's regal form despite the jet black coating her feathers. she'll be a sunbathing bird 100% of the time because the darkness of her wings do in fact attract heat—so she'll be able to maintain her metahuman condition and also dry off if her fluffy feathers get wet from the rain. i'm thinking a black bird mixed with a tuted titmouse wing apperance would do the trick for louise. i know male blackbirds have onyx wings and female blackbirds don't but she's pretty uncommon for a ice villain so i think that'll fit her whole vibe 🤷‍♀️

I think Humanity Fuck Yeah is such a prevalent trope that people cannot except when a work of fiction frames that trope as villainous and a bad thing wrt treatment of fictional races. Heck, I've seen takes from the FE fandom saying that the series is all about "dragons always bad, humanity always good", which is incredibly inaccurate especially given the recent game Engage has you play as a divine dragon.

I don't even know where they're getting it from? Humans are nearly always the source of problems in FE! One of the few times they aren't is when dragons degenerate, but even then they react badly to the aftermath of that by abusing manaketes who are on their side, something that leads to Medeus despising them.

Also isn't there some line in Dragalia Lost (rip) where Marth is like "if you call a dragon evil purely because they are evil then you are no better than the monster ive slain" ??

life is like. I'm witnessing horrors beyond comprehension. I just spent almost a year fighting for my actual life to receive fairly basic medical care in my first world country. I can't eat right now. my body and brain barely work. I don't know what will happen to the world. I don't know what will happen to me. many people can and do juggle such things all together and at once. I don't think I can. it is also 4am. perhaps it is okay to let my exhausted deprived body sink into sleep at 4am because I simply cannot solve the world's problems nor the world's ignorance, all I can do is stay alive, aware, and as active as I can without burning out. because that too is important. rest is also resistance. we are many and if I step back others are there. when I step back up others will rest. it is the rhythm of the work.
