What is that shape in Red Robin logo? Is it a bird shape? An absurd logo?

it's definitely a stylized bird!

The initial Red Robin suit, belonging to Kingdom Come's Dick Grayson, had a slightly different version of the logo but between this and Tim's version the overall concept stayed approximately the same

"The Red Robin - Since Ross had armored The Batman in the angular style of Bob Kane, Dick Sprang, and more recently Bruce Timm, he made sure that the former Robin reflected the more molded, anatomical look popularized by Neal Adams and, later, Tim Burton's Batman film. The Red Robin ended up truly resembling a robin redbreast with a red breastplate sporting an insignia similar to those used by Hawkman and The Blackhwaks at various times, surrounded by grey gauntlets, leggings, boots, cape, and cowl for an overall colorscheme resembling that of the original Dr. Mid-Nite." For reference, Hawkman and Blackhawks logos that already existed (and were used within the last decade if not still in use at the time) when Kingdom Come was published

While the Red Robin logo opted for the bird having a closed beak unlike these two, the general shape/style influence is pretty noticeable (arguably even the criss-crossing bandoliers seem to take some Hawkman influence too)

When Jason wore the suit during countdown, the logo is drawn basically the same shape-wise as Kingdom Come Dick's (though the colors get inverted quite a few times, but that's just an inconsistency, it's predominantly colored the same way as Dick's)

When Ulysses wears the costume after Jason, we start to see the shape change a little bit, into what we end up seeing during Tim's time as Red Robin where there's a bit of a pointed edge on the left side. Considering we know this is the exact suit Ulysses pulled out of the trash after Jason ditched it, the logo changing was probably more of an 'artist adding their own touch to it' thing rather than an in-universe logo redesign (unless Ulysses for some reason said 'ok hang on this suit is great EXCEPT I gotta change this one little thing-')

The newer shape that we then see during Tim's time to me looks like it took inspiration from what the suit's cowl actually looks like on Tim. Like the basic shape created by Tim’s head if he’s not just bending his neck all the way forward being stylized as that little point.

Obviously the logo versions stylize things further, but the basic shape seemingly takes inspiration.

You’ve stated the dynamics of Bruce, the Batboys, Ra’s, Kon, and Alfred, but what about the Batgirls and Birds of Prey, the Justice League, Young Justice (comics), Teen Titans, or the other Gotham Rouges? It might be that the posts about them and how they appear in your DC ABO are just further down and harder to see at first, but I’m really curious.

No I don’t think I’ve stated any of them (I actually had a moment of “wait when did I say Alfred” before remembering). Also when I say I don’t know a character it sometimes doesn’t even mean I haven’t consumed a lot of media with them just… I haven’t hit something that made it click in my brain. Probablys are “this is my gut so far but I’m not settled”. 

As a general statement you’ll probably find I put more “first gen” heroes as alphas while ex-side-kicks tend be a more even spread. That’s because I think alphas would be more raised to have the personality where the reaction to crime and villianry is “I’m going put on a costume and beat it up”. The side-kicks are often unrepresented when they join so are more likely to get an even-spread. 

I will undoubtedly miss some (some of these groups are really big and/or really subject to change)

But okay here goes (I’m using heads more for my own memory purposes than necessarily)

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Ngozi The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story a regular Check Please fan would tell you. It’s a fandom legend. Darth Ngozi was a Dark Lord of Tumblr webcomics, so powerful and so wise she could use the comic to influence the tumblr fangirls to… like hockey. She had such a knowledge of the hockey fandom that she could even integrate some hockey personalities into her body of work, even use them as her source material for some of her characters without anyone batting an eyelash. The dark side of the Tumblr is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. She became so powerful, the only thing she was afraid of was losing her popularity, which eventually, of course, she did. Unfortunately, the fandom run amok with her fangirls witchhunting other fangirls in the guise of The Discourse, that in the end, these lynch mob fangirls are the reason she can’t acknowledge her source material because then they’d witchhunt her for supporting an alleged rapist they hate, who was exonerated by DNA evidence btw. Ironic. She could save others from death, but she can’t stop lying.

one month. it took one month for Matt to finally realize that he had to get help elsewhere. it started out with a trip to Chicago Med. There, Will Halstead diagnosed him with a bronchial infection and gave him the necessary drugs to help and heal from it. But after two weeks it still wasn't getting any better. They got a second opinion at another hospital which was early ages of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It made sense considering he was a FIREFIGHTER. The smoke inhalation he has gotten over the years on duty was finally catching up to him. But at the same time he was still very young. Last time he checked, he was 37 years old. Age was just a number but he has met many firefighters over the years; some he is friends with that have COPD. But they didn't get the disease until their 50′s or 60′s. For a about a week he was on an extended sick leave, whilst trying to enjoy a bit of furlow he had earned. Watching the Blackhwaks gave him some comfort, especially when they won. One afternoon Gabby came home from shift and told him of an idea. Did he want to travel across several states just for medical treatment? No, not exactly. But after doing some research they found out this hospital was one of the best with a very talented team of diagnosticians. It wouldn't hurt, and they would be able to see some of New Jersey simultaneously. It was very difficult to breathe and his coughing only got worse. Mutually they decided one day & last minute to fly to Princeton, New Jersey and finally get the treatment he needed. He was missing being a home body and missing shifts. Checking into the Emergency room started out normal. A nurse was the one to start it, giving him this weird look. Did he have something on his face or something? Negative. Several hours into being there he was finally being transferred upstairs. A very short doctor walked in, who introduced himself as Dr. Taub was acting very strangely too, even laughing at one point, mumbling something about this ‘Dr. Chase’ to his partner, a woman doctor. It only made the atmosphere weird. They both were slowly starting to regret coming here if the staff couldn't act professional. Laying back down on a pillow after the doctors left he looked to Gabby with a sigh. Was he going to get help or not? It can’t be hard to figure out, right? @nothouse
