Okay im finally saying this here, but I can’t be the only one who realized Shuri and Jaime basically went through the same fucking shit. Both forced to be superhero’s when they just wanted to live a normal life (Jaime graduated college and Shuri trying to get over her brothers death), both we’re fueled with rage and would have killed someone if it wasn’t for them being convinced other wise, and they both lost parents due to their new forced responsibility.
It shows that both of them literally never wanted to be superhero’s, Jaime was trying to help his parents with the house and Shuri was trying to overcome her grief. Shuri never even wanted to be queen, so why would she would to be Black Panther, a higher figure then a ruler could ever be. At the main battles in the movies, both of them weren’t even fighting for themselves, they we’re fighting for revenge.
BOTH OF THEM learnt that their enemies were just like them, broken. They forgave themselves for the guilt of being the reason for their parents death and ending up bonding with the inner superhero they were forced to be.
YOU CANT TELL ME THEIR NOT GOING THROUGH THE SAME SHIT
ANOTHER EDIT but both of them were also young adults! They should have never went through this pain honestly.
off topic but the romances in Blue Beetle definitely ruined the vibe of the movie, ESPECIALLY in the end. Wakanda Forever pulled off that ‘finally letting go’ vibe better then Blue Beetle did
Lou’s set leaked but none could predict
All This Time and World Class Megamixed;
Blue/green, rainbowed and gay,
Then he went on to slay
A 1D tune penned by his nemesis.
I'll always love how both of these Chris Wedge directed Blue Sky films ended with both of these Chris Wedge voiced characters giving a little chuckle at the end. ^w^
