The promised incoherent BKDK rant ! I’m not entirely sure of where I’m going with this, or if it makes sense, but I Realized and then I couldn’t stop Realizing and I had to put it down somewhere. This might get a bit rambly at times but bear with me guys
This is about bkdk, but to talk about bkdk I wanna talk about Uraraka and Toga as well because I believe they parallel bkdk. Not just on the Love = Imitation thing though that’s part of it, but also the way Deku handles his feelings toward Katsuki in relation to Heroism.
Uraraka and Toga are foils, and aside from highlighting how the way they handle their feelings are similar and different, they also reflect the attitudes of Heroism and Villainy. Uraraka is a Hero because she acts selflessly. She prioritizes becoming a Hero and helping people over her own feelings for Deku, and in turn represses them so they don’t become a liability. On the other hand, Toga is a villain because she’s ‘selfish’. She couldn’t suppress her feelings anymore, so now she prioritizes the things she wants and loves regardless of how they affect other people. In short, suppression = selflessness = Heroism; indulgence = selfishness = Villainy.
Now what the heck does this have to do with Deku and his feelings for Katsuki? Well I think he follows much of the same pattern Uraraka does. Deku consistently loses control of his feelings because of Katsuki throughout the series, and this comes to a head when he unlocks sixquirks. His feelings for Katsuki start to become a liability: when he unlocks Blackwhip he endangers his classmates, and after he unlocks Danger Sense he loses himself to the point where he nearly got OFA stolen, killed, possibly caused the end of the world, etc. Both of these instances were caused by someone saying or doing something to Katsuki. And every time he loses control of his feelings he becomes a liability as Hero, so he has to learn to ‘control his heart.’
So, Deku follows much of the same pattern Uraraka did: They experience strong feelings toward someone, until those feelings begin negatively affecting their Hero work, so they push those feelings down in order to become better Heroes. Selflessness. And Deku is selfless, so much so it becomes a fault. Time and time again, people point out Deku’s selflessness and how he always puts others before himself. The true imagine of a Hero.
Except, as far as I can tell, for this moment:
I can never let go of this interaction between Deku and Compress because it is absolutely insane to me. Not only is Deku losing his shit because of Katsuki being taken, that much is understandable. But to make a point to have Compress call out Deku for being possessive? Yeah, that’s gonna keep me up at night. And it was me thinking about this scene for the 10293493 time that got me writing this long winded rant. Because Compress here calls Deku an ‘egoist.’ He’s not repressing his feelings, he’s lashing out, inadvertently indulging in the feelings he tends to suppress. To Compress, a Villain, this outburst appears egoistical. In a way, selfish. He’s losing control of his heart, and it is once again because of Katsuki.
And as I was losing my mind over this little detail, I remembered this happens in Chapter 81. What happens in Chapter 80?
Toga introduces the concept of Imitation as a form of Love. Something which is seen not only in Uraraka but also in the way Deku acts toward Katsuki.
Coincidence? Well, probably lmao. But maybe I’m not crazy and it’s not.
Am I going anywhere in specific with this? No, not really. I have many thoughts and they lead to nowhere coherent. But after I realized how insane it was for Deku out of all people to be called an ‘egoist’ I couldn’t leave it alone and woah, what the hell.

1) “Anyway, I bet this would make a really cool animated scene, but we definitely will never get an anime out of this manga, and that makes me both sad and happy.”- I dunno, I think there’s defiantly potential for one- certainly a lot of free space in that timeskip for a filler arc or two to flesh out everybody’s character, you know?
2) “you fuckers are worried about analyzing the lyrics and rhythm of it when she`s about to be turned into a roast?”-They had to dumb it down for those of us who can’t hear the music playing in our heads as we read.
3) “RACHEL I STILL CAN`T BELIEVE ANY OF YOU REALLY THINK THAT POP JUST DISAPPEARED FOR A FEW DAYS AND THEN COME BACK AS A CRAZY VILLAIN AND THAT THERE ISN`T ANY SORT OF SUSPICIOUS THING INVOLVED
THERE`S ANOTHER THREE GUYS IN THIS VERY SAME ROOM WHICH GOT KIDNAPPED AND TURNED INTO RAMPAGING VILLAINS, WHY DON`T ANY OF YOU THINK THE SAME APPLIES TO HER?”- I mean, they probably suspect, but they don’t have any definite proof, you know? Phelps is probably erring on the side of caution here from his prior experiences with trigger, which is why he wants her brought in alive, but that’s not really an outcome discount-endeavour has in mind. For the support group, all they really know is what they’ve seen and experienced, and none of them can really provide evidence that Pop’s been Triggered to be like this without getting samples of her blood and such, which the parasite likely isn’t going to allow.
4) “Pop please, piss off, you literally didn`t go through anything that would justify this behavior, but the story is really set into pushing that the Parasite just let you act in the darkness in your heart”- It does somewhat undercut the transformation, that’s there’s no real inherent ‘darkness’ within Pop to manipulate and mould into a villain, unlike with Tenko and his childhood abuse steadily building up until the breaking point. But on the other hand, that emphasises the ‘tragedy’ aspect more, because whilst Tenko was steadily coaxed into accepting evil by what he thought was choice, Pop is being brute-forced into the role by Nomura and not being given any true say in the matter, yet brainwashed into believing that she wants this outcome.
5) “KOICHI WHAT IS THAT
ALTHOUGH I AM GLAD YOU`RE KEEPING YOUR DAD`S TRADITIONS ALIVE WITH YOUR OWN GRAPPLING HOOK”- At least one practical piece of training Knuckle imparted onto Koichi was how to properly use a grappling hock in action to web-swing, even by example, which is a pretty neat comparison to be made between Izuku and Koichi now that they both have the powers the gravity defiance (or will do in Izuku’s case whenever he manages to unlock it) and the power of swing.
6) “Oh it is actually his old grappling hook, oh wow. Can`t disagree that is essential to have a backup plan when the first one goes down the hole but
KOICHI YOU HAVEN`T EVEN USED YOUR FUCKING QUIRK”- The grappling hook is actually an extremely fitting tool for Koichi should he master it enough to make it his own, letting him keep in the fray and moving around buildings when his ‘Quirk stamina’ runs out and recharging it, then allowing him to start using it against after the brief ‘rest’ period.
7) “Actually no, he was the most “normal” person there, when you stop to think about it.
Also Puto, you saw him doing that like once, twice at most, what the fuck do you even know?”- He knows that with even a little application of his Quirk applied to this tool, Koichi would be able to pull off parkour stunts that would make Knuckle’s usage of it seem amateur in comparison.
8) “YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
HE`S FGOING FOR ITFUCKYEAH THE CRAWLER TOOK TO THE SKIES ONCE AGAIN!”-Maybe not the full-scale rocket blast he pulled off before, but the ‘double jump’ (or triple in this case) is a good in-between measure to catch up to Pop on her own playing field.
9) “FURUHASHI JUST FUCKING DECIDE ALREADY IF SHE`S IN CONTROL OR NOT FOR FUCK`S SAKE”-
Again similar to Tomura, Pop is convinced at first that society will never forgive her for her crimes, or accept the circumstances behind them, so she may as well accept being a villain and let the parasite have its way, but seeing Koichi chasing relentlessly after her and still willing to forgive her despite it all is just enough to make her realise that if he alone will never turn his back on her, then maybe that’s enough reason to actually fight back…which is precisely why Nomura steps in at that moment. I can see something similar happening with Tomura down the line- maybe himself not being actually ‘redeemed’ in the eyes of the public, but getting to choose to stop being the villain and start accepting help from Izuku when he needs it.
10) “but again, I am happy. At least I got my hope in things actually getting better written being renovated. It was far from perfect- in fact it was so far that light would take around a week before it could reach perfect, but we can still make it, this story still can make good use of all its potential so at least the ending is good.”-

It makes sense it is in his head. I’ve found the drawing a little eerie since touya since to be off proportioned instead of his usual self Dabi. His face seems too round and much younger, I’d expect a more mature face as you can found in many fan arts. But touya still sees himself like that kid at Sekoto , so this being his imaginary or even the whole family imaginary of a 13 years old touya as in a touya who is healthy physically makes sense.
However I can’t wait for Shoto to make his enter like a ram and headbutt in touya that he is also part of the family!
I love seriousness and drama , so a hug would be lovely, but at the same time I can’t avoid imagining whether Shoto might do something a little comical and anticlimactic - some sort of pestering like real siblings really do sometimes.
I have no doubt it's gonna be suitably dorky - funny. The Shouto-Touya encounters always have these off-the-charts annoying sibling energy:

as someone with sensitive hearing and has trouble staying comfortable in loud situations, how would tfp predaking, soundwave, and knockout help someone (cybertronian) calm down in these situations
TFP Predaking
He's more likely to remove someone from the situation.
I don't mean pull off to the side I mean fully plucked from the ground and flown off somewhere.
If a person is overwhelmed in the situation then simply removing them from the situation is his logic.
Predaking will guide them through the quiet sky to give them some time to calm down.
If that does not work he would have them focus on his purring.
TFP Soundwave
Soundwave is smart. He would manually turn off the audio receptors.
High intelligence and long nimble fingers that are perfect for handling the delicate operation
The bot in question would probably not realize it had been done until Soundwave was able to get their attention and gesture to their helm.
If they still need to calm down some more Soundwave would allow them to return to their room and keep an optic on them in the camera feed until they felt better.
TFP Knockout
Similar to Predaking except instead of removing the bot, he kicks others out of the area.
Then he makes sure the bot is comfortable and in a quiet environment.
He then has them try to focus on steadying their spark beat and check their level of overwhelmedness
He stays with them to make sure they are good mentally before leaving.

Y/n groaned as they sat up in their bed.
It's just one of those unfortunate nights where the mind would not let the mind rest. As they came to that realization, they decided to get up and do something productive....like the extra credit assignment the teachers gave them.
Putting on their slippers, y/n walked down the hallway before they paused as something echoed in their ears. Y/n was going to walk away, thinking it was nothing when the sound echoed again.
'She's crying, again......'
Y/n turned their body to face Eri's door. The sounds muffled from the door separating them from the outside and from Eri trying to quiet herself.
With no second thoughts, Y/n opened the door to the room. Eri's head looks at the opening with an expression of shock. Y/n walking in, kneeling near her bed, and looking at the little girl.
"Another nightmare?" Eri could only nod hesitantly at the pointed question, quickly wiping her eyes of tears. "You know the body can harm you here right?" This time though, that question made the little girl silent. "Can you do me a favor?"
Eri looked at Y/n with a look of scared confusion. "okay..."
"Can you scoot over for me?" After some internal deliberation, Eri agreed. Y/n moving into the bed and covering the both of them in the warm covers. "It's easier for me to protect you from those nightmares if I'm there to stop them." they smile at the child.
Eri's eyes shining at the promise of safety, allowing y/n to pull her to their side in a protective manner.
"Sweet dream, Eri. I'll keep the scary things away."
"Thank you, Y/n......" Eri smiled before closing her eyes.

Aizawa was awake doing some grading when he decided to check on Eri. The sight did not surprise him but it was nonetheless touching.
The memory of Y/n sleeping on Eri's bed as the younger was cuddled into their side.
Looks like the nightmares are going to be kept away for a while.

Like how they would approach the situation and if they would try to make the best of the situation by getting to know the woman more and how they would do that

Nozel Silva
Nozel would go along with it if he found it beneficial enough for him to do so.
If he doesn’t think so, its not happening and as the head of House Silva he will just deny the proposal.
Nozel is more likely to observe the fiancé from a distance then straight up engage with them.
When they do interact its polite and courteous but still an arm's length away from affection.
The woman would have to do her best to break through his defenses by trying to find literally anything that would start a meaningful or heartfelt conversation.
I think what warms up Nozel to the arrangement is if the interest in him and the well being of his family was genuine.
Being strict with him regarding his health is also a plus because it means value for his well being and not just his status.
The nail in the coffin though would be an elegant but frightening display of magic. It shows that they can hold House Silva with a logical, considerate, and calculating way where he doesn’t need to fret when the affairs feel beyond his control.
He was skeptical in the beginning but comes around to his fiancé with time.
William Vangence
William is more likely to accept the proposal out of politeness than gain. He doesn’t understand why someone would want to marry him but if it’s what they want…...
Again, the fiancé would need to be the first one to extend their hand toward William in a more romantic sense. Definitely wants a relationship based on love more than service.
I think this would start off as doing little acts of service. Nice little things that make him go ‘you don’t have to do that.’
In his mind, he doesn’t deserve it, but they are insistent and these acts of service then turn into a genuine interest in his life.
He would see the magic they possess as impressive but if it’s used in a gentle approach to make others or himself smile that will spark some feelings.
William’s mask would also be of interest to the fiancé but William always finds a way to steer the conversation away from it.
If the fiancé makes a sincere apology about invading a touché topic they promise to drop it but hope that he will be open to talking about the mask with them. Love and respect should go both ways and not be a one-sided ordeal.
Words like that will have William melting and view his fiancé in a more romantic view.

And then they start flirting with him
Shiggy.exe is not working and he genuinely thinks they are making fun of him
One day he just snaps at them, that they don't need to make fun of him all the time
He feels pretty embarrassed when he realizes that they were genuinely complimenting him
It still makes him feel weird but Shigaraki is learning to accept the verbal affection
MHA Dabi
Dabi is a good sport
Quick to return the flirting because its not serious in his opinion up until they start to feel really genuine
Then he's quick to just grunt in acknowledgment
He understands that they are being genuine but that doesn't mean he's just going to accept them.
Is not willing to admit that the compliments make him a very happy man
In other words, Dabi will accept the flirting but if the compliments get too genuine he will immediately deflect the emotions he feels by making it sexual
Y/n rolls their eyes but gets he's not going to be genuine about his reactions anytime soon.

Fuegoleon Vermillion
I'm picturing a quiet individual, on the shy side, and more on the anxious side
The sight is almost funny to behold with this tall man yelling his passions to this shy person quietly giving the same affections back quietly with a stressed expression.
Constant uplifting and confidence building speeches from him are always appreciated by s/o
Fuegoleon also encourages them to try things outside their comfort zone in order to gain more outlooks on those around them.
When it comes to Fuegoleon, s/o is good at recognizing anxiety in him.
They encourage him to take things slow every once in a while because no matter the goal he has set they 100% believe he will reach it.
Its something that he greatly appreciates from them since even strong-minded people have their own moments of self-doubt
This relation works as it provides one person with the opportunity to open up to new experiences and gain confidence while providing the other person with the chance to slow down, be validated, and get their own encouragement.
Nozel Silva
Nozel's s/o is an extroverted individual. Impulsive and or a lack of a better word, crazy. Which means they speak up about how they are feeling about a situation right then and there.
A quality Nozel no doubt finds annoying from time to time but at this point, s/o doesn't really register his words/actions as something to worry about.
Most would think this relationship is doomed just watching them, but all are surprised that it works.
As a royal and magic knight captain, Nozel must conduct himself in respectful and acceptable behavior at all times. S/o does not have to. So while he has to keep himself in check at all times, S/o has no problem sticking their two -cents in when something is said that makes their man uncomfortable or from being disrespected.
They also encourage him to act on his own desires or try things that are otherwise unbecoming of royalty
Nozel balances out this impulsive behavior by being the voice of reason so whatever insane plan they've come up with...
It is at least is reasonable and can be executed with efficiency. Resulting in minimum property damage and s/o with no massive injuries. The other side is avoiding something reckless entirely
This is a relationship that balances impulse and logic providing what the other needs while protecting one another.
William Vangence
For William, I see someone who is extroverted like Nozel's s/o but I'm going to say with an attitude equivalent to a spoiled brat
One that will basically be a brat to everyone but him. Perhaps try to get on his nerves only to find his bottomless pit of patience.
The dynamic between this relationship is mainly one person learns to consider the emotional needs of others while the other person is reminded that they are more than their job snd its is okay to be selfish every once in a while.
William makes his s/o reflect on how their actions affect others and while they can occasionally have good intentions at heart it is not what reflected others.
Patience is another one that s/o learns in that they feel more at peace with William. They always demand something from others but William reminds them demands from others aren't what bring happiness and he helps them to find this calm peace for themselves.
S/O acts as William's....louder voice by scheduling breaks for dates and just general breathers from work.
In fact, they pretend that this is for them when its really for William and that's easily shown by how they spoil him.

Thelreads, Vigilantes 81, Replies Part 1
1) “But today I`m full of energy and ready to dunk down Furuhashi once again! This arc is going spectacularly… polarizing, to say the least, but there`s still hope that things can get better for this story, I believe in the me that believes in Vigilantes.”- I do think, if nothing else, that getting Koichi out of his comfort zone and pushing him into the kind of similar situations Izuku’s ben exposed to on a regular basis has done wonders for his effectiveness as a hero on the field- far more than his direct lessons from Knuckle did anyway
2) “And there`s my little boy, looking at the horizon, and the bright flaming ball coming crashing down after the five minutes were up and Endeavor managed to hit Pop.”- He’s not to Izuku’s level, but with his trademark hoodie off, I do notice some muscle definition on his lithe frame there. That self-training really did improve him mentally and physically from the pushover he used to be.
3) “Huh- What?
Is this a flashback? When was this? No, flashbacks have black backgrounds, is this Pop imagining things or something?”- Losing herself in a ‘what-if’ whilst her body’s moving according to her worst impulses and the directions of the parasite inside her skull.
4) “Yeah, absolutely her imagination. It`s not even the fact she`out of school and looking for a job, it`s the fact that Koichi is being sweet to her without his usual accidental jerkniess “- Who knows, maybe he’d dial it back a bit after a few years to mature more and once he’d realised that he does think of Pop as somebody other than a close partner who sticks by his side.
6) “Now Pop certainly has some interesting dreams about them, not exactly together, but still close after all this time, fighting crime while adults. It`s just really hilarious, in a sad way, that she can`t even imagine them dating, even in her dreams she`s just chasing him while he`s oblivious.”- She’s thinking of them as using these vigilante activities as the closest thing to a date they can get, an enjoyable activity to spend time together with and grow closer together before eventually taking it to the next level- though pointedly, I couldn’t help noticing that the narrative skipped straight to the end result without going through the gradual process. Almost like Pop’s mind was too embarrassed to fully plan out all the necessary happenings that would be needed to get there.
7) “IT`S THEM FUCKING TRAINS AGAIN
FUCKING HELL I FORGOT ABOUT THEM”- Who could forget the pain trains and their current boom in business, both here and in MHA?
8) “BABY POPICHI
TWO OF THEM
WHAT THE FUCK”- It’s interesting how her imagined scenario focuses more on how her theoretical daughter would be growing up rather than her son with Koichi- almost like Pop isn’t exactly certain of how to relate to a kid that had more in common with Koichi than herself.
9) “WHAT IS GOING ON
IS POP REALLY DREAMING ALL OF THIS WHILE SHIT`S GOING ON?
WHAT, IS THE NEXT ONE GONNA BE THEM OLD PLAYING WITH THEIR GRANDKIDS?”- Sadly, they don’t quite get that old – likely because Pop’s mentality can’t keep this ‘safe daydream’ going much longer, keeping the sweet and nice parts of herself intentionally blind to the damage she’s doing. Unlike Tomura, who embraces his villainy, I get the sense that part of Pop is deeply ashamed of what she’s done so far, but knows it’s too late to turn back, so she doesn’t truly fight the parasite’s commands and instead mentally averts her gaze and distracts herself with thoughts of what could have been.
10) “So, in her dreams, although Pop never got to achieve her dreams she still had a daughter that decided to follow down the same path, interesting. Also, you haven`t changed one bit Koichi, what`s your skincare? Tell me”- It’s almost like Pop can’t truly imagine an older Koichi being much different from who he is now, effectively still the same person, but just slightly older-looking.
11) “Now, for real, what is the actual situation? Because Tamao had memories of her past, but it was like another completely different person, I don`t actually remember if it was ever implied it was still her and the parasite just made her evil, the one moment where it seems like her real self was coming to surface was during the fight with knuckles, when more of her frustration with her dad in the past suddenly showed up, but that seemed like an extreme moment when a geyser erupted, Pop just seems to be herself but evil all the time.
Like, that phrase she gave would`ve been fucking amazing, if this all wasn`t just a brainwashing parasite and it was instead really her decision to do this.”- It seems to be all mixed-up and confused inside Pop’s head as it is the narrative, but the most I can make out is that she was fully controlled to bring out her worst side by the parasite during the prior outing, and now, with whatever different formula Nomura’s had injected into her for this show, she’s got more self-awareness and regrets about her situation, but likewise believes she’s too far gone anymore? It could be a means of getting her to ‘express her real feelings more’, as I sorta got the impression that in his own twisted mind, Nomura actually does think he’s doing Pop a favour by forcing her into this role, so she can stop holding herself back and let it all out.
12) “I hope you are eclectic Koichi, you`re about to get into a whole different genre of music, a rather painful one I`d say.”- He’s gotta match her rhythm to get closer to her, both physically and emotionally. Good thing he’s been training up his dance moves.
