thinking about akaashi with a baby so

here’s how that’ll go

he’s very attached to his baby

they never leave his sight unless they’re at preschool or he has work

even with that he has guards for them since birth

the two share a bed together

he’s very self aware so he’ll never roll on top of them

he spoils them a little, always bringing a new toy or set of clothes home

if the baby ever asks about their mom he’ll say she unfortunately passed

which is somewhat the truth...

his persona around his kid is very soft and loving

he wants them to feel safe and loved around him

they always have days together where they go to the park to run around and play together

other parents find it endearing how he loves to play with his kid

akaashi just wants to give his child the love and attention he was starved from as a child

his parents always had pressure on him to be his best at everything, and if you couldn’t keep their expectations, he was weak

that’s why when he became older he cut them off

no visits to see his child or anything

he never wants his child to feel like he did

akaashi always carried weight on his back, so he wants his kid to be as carefree as possible

but of course he wants them to get good grades and make good choices

so he’ll put his foot down when he needs to

he’s very trusting, and will always take his kids side

oh and his kids name is kou

while kou sat in the living room, watching a old disney movie, akaashi sat at the kitchen table doing his editing work. every few minutes or so he’d turn around to see kous excited babling about a princess or whatever they spot on the tv

keiji smiled a bit before he heard the door bell ring. he pulled on his house shoes before making his way over to the door

opening the door, there he was, “bokuto-san? but aren’t you in town for a game? why are you here?” bokuto laughs and holds up a bag of food, “you expected me to just come and NOT say hi to my world and my little star?” he says moving to give akaashi a hug

akaashi sighs and lets himself be embraced by the slightly larger man, the food now sat on the floor as his bestfriend squeezes him. he had to admit, the hug was what he needed

pulling away from the hug, akaashi and bokuto locked eyes, a small giggle leaving them both before they heard little footsteps approaching

“koto!!!” “MY LITTLE STAR”

bokuto picked up kou and swung them around while akaashi watched. seeing his best friend play with his child never failed to warm his heart

“bokuto-san the food will get cold.” “OH RIGHT, cmon lets eat!!”
