oh, three, a challenge. so i'll keep it as three actual short lines.

1.more of the dead-dove-do-not-eat mel/silco(/jayce) fic, in which silco's thinking about some mel and also some murder.

There was something about her that both repulsed him even as it drew him to her, inexorably, an ugly broken moth drawn to the light. To certain death. She made him want to kneel at her altar and profane it at the same time. Burn it. Destroy it. Possess it.

He imagined pressing the blade he kept in his breast pocket against her honeyed throat, deep until she wore a crimson necklace, the rabbit-fast beat of her heart slowing down to a lurching thud, a pitiful gurgling as the blood flooded her lovely mouth no longer smiling, and finally her emerald eyes sliding shut.

2. tvd/legacies bonkai au, in which the two of them are teachers at the salvatore school (kind of a follow up to a previously written fic), that i never finished.

“So, you have a school full of witches, vampires, wolves and all sorts of nifty magickal creatures—yet you have them purposefully losing at mundane football?” Kai’s voice was crackling-dry with derision. “There’s a word for that in several languages—oh yeah, it’s called bullshit.”

3. mel(/jayce) au in which she stayed in noxus, and is infiltrating demacian nobility for some reason or other.

A Noxian draped in silks waltzing elegantly through a Demacian masque was as strange a sight as a ravening wolf amidst a gaggle of sheep. Or it would be if anyone knew who and what she was.

Harry Osborn - ANYTHING IN ANY VERSE HE'S MY BOY (he's been neglected on my solo muse) Loki - His trick with Thanos being another feint: he's duplicated himself once more, and reveals himself to Thor just after Thanos disappears and the ship explodes, both are saved by the Guardians. ETC. Ben / Adrian - Am I the only person who genuinely thought they were the best ship? That they absolutely loved each other in the end, until Mercy passed? Anyways, Mercy lives. And so thus do Ben and Adrian. Together. I can also see them moving past it if the show was so focused on having Ben be a pick me for Amy. Matt the Radar Tech - Running into SW people for laughs, them thinking he's Ben. He's not. They just look alike. A lot. Lily Page - Meeting her father (I still HC that as being Zorro) or repairing her friendship/relationship with Emma. Katniss - Instead of her tracker being cut out, it's Peeta's that is, and he is saved by 13, and she is taken to the Capitol to be tortured for information and to try and turn the tides against the Rebels. Bonnie - Someone love her please and don't DIE IN THE MEANTIME. I'm a big fan of well done Bamon, Bonkai, Benzo, Bonora....But also could be convinced of anything. Rosalie - An idea being what if she was already married to Royce when he and his friends did what they did? The revenge plot takes an entirely different meaning when it's a husband, particularly if she's already been hoping for a child, which is further dashed by her survival and change into a vampire.

Bonkai

I ship it so fucking hard.

1. What made you ship it? They have such great chemistry. Look, I know that Kai has physically hurt Bonnie and he’s a fucking asshole, but their chemistry was so fucking good I kept rewatching season 6 for them. They have such great potential—here’s Bonnie with a powerful witch and here’s Kai with a powerful witch who doesn’t think he’s an abomination (until he starts obviously shooting her with crossbows, and even then, her believing he’s a piece of shit isn’t tied into how he was born but his decisions). 

I think if Plec knew how to write romantic relationships without adding in abusive tendencies (and then not being able to narratively acknowledge and unpack them), Bonkai would’ve been super interesting if Kai had played the manipulative card and pretended he was stuck in the prison world, got closer to Bonnie by pretending he wasn’t the reason why they were stuck there, and played her like a fiddle and ended up falling for her would’ve been great. But Kai is as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face.

I also like that Bonnie was finally given the opportunity to have her PTSD and feelings explored because of him. I know that’s probably a problematic thing to like, but I like the fact that the narrative actually acknowledged it. Kai and Bonnie both had their PTSD explored in season 6, and I think that if Kai was able to be someone who could grow from understanding he was a shithead and that he treated Bonnie wrongly, they could’ve developed a great bond in terms of supporting one another.

I think Bonkai isn’t boring. Bonnie would give Kai the affection and acceptance he’s sorely lacked, and I think Kai would give Bonnie that person in her corner who goes and sets things on fire and puts farting cushions on people’s seats bc someone upset Bonnie two days ago.

If they worked out their joint trauma (and Bonnie got to explore her trauma in relation to him), I think that Bonkai would be a great ship for one sole reason: I fully believe Kai would make Bonnie laugh.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship? The potential, from the personal character potential and the magical potential. Can you imagine Kai learning how to control his siphoning and Bonnie trusting Kai to siphon her without taking away all her magic? They’d make such a great magical team. 

I also like how they’ve grown up differently. Kai grew up in a house that openly practiced magic and lived by the magical rules first, the human rules second, while Bonnie grew up in a house that predominantly was normal first and magical second. Kai embraces his magic but doesn’t embrace his humanity while Bonnie embraces her humanity and was only at the beginning of embracing her magic when they met.

I also just enjoyed their sexual chemistry and the fact that they look good together. What? I’m shallow. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? It is abusive considering Kai does physically assault Bonnie while in the prison world. That’s not forgivable, and something that I would need him to acknowledge was wrong and actually be sorry for and learn from. While Bonnie obviously did get him back for it, I have a problem with this show and fandom romanticising white men who physically assault their female romantic partners (or potential romantic partners) and call it love/ full on ignore it. I ship this ship and I've written fic for them (and want to write more), but I do acknowledge Kai hasn't treated Bonnie well and try to explore this.

As far as she can remember, Bonnie Bennett has always been a die-hard Star Wars fan. However, when you are involved in an active fandom, there is bound to be some toxic fans in it, namely this person Cobrakai1972 or Kailo Ren. A popular YouTuber with thousands of followers. The two start off disagreeing in a lot of things. Some angry words are exchange, doxing threats are thrown out, and then the entire thing just blows out of proportion where the drama even bleeds into her real life.

The next thing she knows, Bonnie finds herself being defended from all sides by Damon, Stefan, Tyler, Jeremy and Matt. Even the Mikaelson brothers - Klaus, Elijah and Kol - have join as well where they call themselves the 'Bonnie Bennett Brigade' to fight against her bullies and fully support her online.

It turns out Cobrakai1972 is a siphoner witch named Kai Parker, who was released from the Prison World to complete the Merge. Now, he is clearly hell-bent on ruining Bonnie’s life.

Also, Kai Parker is apparently a Kylo Ren fanboy.
