Wilderness child, you gotta hold on.
My entry for BriMay 2022. I "recycled" one of the character designs made for BriMay 2021, the "Fairy-Druid-Knight" was probably my favourite one and I really wanted to draw him again 🥰
Knight Brian is the druid of a small (in size and population) tribe of fairies who live in the forest, threatened by animals and the fading energy of magic all around. Other than being a Druid and healing his people, he also offered to fight as a warrior to protect them.
I really wanted to make an illustration with one of those designs and I'm happy with the result 🥰 Had a lot of fun with colors and textures 💜💜💜 I took a gorgeous stock image as a reference for the tree's roots, nature is incredible.
Please do not repost! Reblogs and comments are welcomed 😊

Hello and welcome to "Del wants to ramble about the Outer Range season 2 trailer." I hope you're ready for a whole lot of nothing...
The CGI continues to remind us that it is, in fact, CGI. What the hell is this?
Tumblr media
Flash scene of Wayne burning his damn house down. I'd know that bald spot anywhere.
Tumblr media
Y'all already heard me ramble about this, but there's something wrong with this dinner scene. Aside from us knowing that the family is not together, there's one major oddity in the background.
Rhett's truck is an entirely different color.
That's his lightbar with the iconic four lights. Still a single-cab GMC Sierra. But Rhett's truck is blue. Not tan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wilder, we see Rhett's truck a few scenes later! You can even see how the hood is bent from hitting the billboard.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We finally confirm that Amy is 8. Even though the writer said she was 9...😑Brian Watkins, I had faith in you being correct. If you squint, you'll notice that Rhett's right hand is wounded. I doubt this stems from the rodeo because he always uses his left hand to hang on to the bull. The only injury we saw was to his left shoulder.
Tumblr media
I'm taking the guess that up until now, Rhett likely didn't know that Amy went missing during the rodeo. Which may cause him to realize that Cecelia never abandoned him; she was just looking for Amy.
In the official Season 2 press notes, the following is mentioned: "After Amy's disappearance, Rhett is torn between his dreams of starting over somewhere new with Maria and being a dutiful son to Royal and Cecelia." So, I can assume that this might be what sets that into motion?
Offhanded, but this is SUCH a good look on her
Tumblr media
MY TOUCH THEORY IS DOING THINGS. Look at Autumn's hand. Royal's touching the back of it, and as soon as he pulls away, the cute cosmic lights stop.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm so happy to see this random side character make a return. I was so nervous that she was one of those characters that appear for two minutes and that's it.
Tumblr media
...this is a wild way for Joy to get in touch with her roots. But unfortunately for her, talking about it will more than likely get her a one-way trip to a psychiatrist.
Tumblr media
Clyde is alive and well; bless him.
Tumblr media
I've said it once, and I'll say it again. How the hell did Billy survive being shot through the neck??
Tumblr media
and also
WAYNE? All it took was Billy feeding him a little bit of time powder and he's back to his old menacing ways. Meanwhile Luke looks like he lost part of his soul when that herd of buffalo ran him over.
Tumblr media
Luke, what does this gesture mean. Strangle? Punch? My jaw hurts? And I assume this is Autumn we're seeing on the corner? Patricia maybe? I dunno.
Tumblr media
PERRY YOU DAMN IDIOT. HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING FROM YOUR LAST BAR FIGHT?? I don't know who this other dude is but I hope he gets Perry square in the mouth <3 please I need to see Perry get his ass handed to him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This gives me so many thoughts. Rhett's shorter hair. He's a hand holder, your honor! Sentence him to a lifetime of snuggles and interlaced fingers!
Tumblr media
So we know that for sure, Joy will somehow return to the present timeline. I don't know who could be driving this vehicle, but it looks a lot like the one that was sitting in the Tillerson's driveway in S1. We know Billy drives the older red vehicle, so this can either belong to Luke or Trevor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hear me out, hear me out. We can assume that the blonde woman is Autumn, considering the whole...cult thing. We've seen a handful of scenes of her with Luke in this trailer, so what if that's him holding her hand? That hat silhouette looks an awful lot like the one we saw in S1.
Alternatively, It can also be Rebecca and Perry, but I have no evidence to back this other than the blonde hair.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*in my best patrick star voice* WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?
I cannot be convinced that this is a real scene. It's gotta be some kind of dream that Royal is having, especially when you take note of the little white things floating around. It gives a sort of dreamy effect.
Tumblr media
THIS IS SHERRIF JOY! Not only is the outfit the same in the following scene (not the one of her running lmao, that's just to show you what the gun looks like), but you can see the gun on her hip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The hand on Rhett's throat is smaller than his is. Look how thick his fingers are compared to the mystery ones. I'm betting my left foot that this is a female character doing this to him. Autumn and Rebecca are on my list of suspects.
But also, what the hell is he looking at? Never once is he looking at the person doing this to him; he's looking at something behind the camera. Baby, what did they do to you this season?? 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hit my picture limit, but Wayne (I think) diving into the hole made me giggle. He picked such an iconic pose.
Someone says quote "Time reveals all." But I don't think we've heard this voice before?? Who the hell is speaking?
This final shot is insane. Don't know who is coming out, presumably Perry or Wayne, but you could ABSOLUTELY spin Outer Range as a horror if you really wanted to. The elements are all there; they just need a little reworking!

I was recently rewatching the Marc Smerling documentary series A Wilderness of Error, based on the book of the same name by the famous film director Errol Morris, about the Jeffrey MacDonald murder case. Up front I will say it is my opinion that the physical evidence in this case and inconsistencies in oral testimony from a variety of observers point ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ to Jeffrey MacDonald as the guilty party. After multiple unsuccessful appeals including to the Supreme Court who refused to hear the case, it is also clear that the legal system views this decision to be correct. Still society wants to peer into the ‘unmarked space’ of the event itself. Society it could be said is unreasonable. Perhaps society likes to entertain unreasonable doubts. One could call the entertainment of such doubts the ‘unmarked space’ or the horror implicit in modern society. This is often expressed as folklore or the stories we tell ourselves about terrible events that include both the true crime tales as well as the urban legends (or other modern non-oral / non-traditional media forms such as horror films and documentaries). Such events as the MacDonald murders become like scars rippling over the surface of the unmarked space as far as society can observe, and they will never fully heal. Society likes to pick at its most sensational and lurid scars. Ultimately all we have is the physical evidence and the testimony of those involved or connected to this case. While such evidence may satisfy the legal system, this is simply not satisfying from the human perspective, from the perspective of ‘the folk’, forever outside of these social subsystems like the law. The court has made its decision but somehow for such cases of wild destruction of innocent life this is never enough. The folk are restless! We want to see what lies at the heart of these dark woods, the mysterious empty hole at the bottom of the dark well. Absent a full confession, we want to peer into Jeffrey MacDonald’s heart and see if he is really a monster or not…
Fiction (and horror) like Twin Peaks solves this problem of the monstrous heart concealed within the mundane world of ordinary life by making it supernatural. The unmarked space becomes a supernatural other and in many ways this is a more satisfying view of the unknown (unmarked) space than human efforts to accept this terrifying uncertainty. We want to see the reality of what is hidden by the dark woods of the human heart, what lies beyond the limits of human knowledge and society’s scribblings in the form of legal opinions.
The other connection I have to this case is more personal. As a law student circa 2012 while interning at the DOJ I did legal research and wrote a short memo for Brian Murtaugh, who is the famous Asst. US Attorney who has dogged this case from its beginning and who successfully has repelled the appeals by MacDonald. At the time, I was excited to work on such a famous case - I saw Fatal Vision as a kid and was obviously interested in the outcome of MacDonald’s appeal. My memo was on a somewhat obscure and not so important issue regarding the Jimmy Britt story - Britt’s story turned out to be a lie as detailed in the documentary I would note. I will admit I didn’t understand who Brian Murtaugh was when I worked for him, and I now regret that I was too ensconced in my own law school worries to really appreciate it. Having read more about Murtaugh now I wish I had been more aware. I recall I misspelled the name MacDonald as “McDonald” in my memo and only noticed it later after I’d already turned it in. It was only a minor error in a sense - this memo was not going to the judge after all, but still I wish I had been a more thoughtful student. Sometimes in our youth we misunderstand the opportunities given to us and only feel it full force much later. I am not now an active member of the State Bar (so if you need legal advice all I can say is “hire an attorney” haha) but this legal training and my experience in law school certainly inform my views on society and the unmarked space.
My review below of the documentary series about the MacDonald case:
“We are compelled by narratives, much more by narratives than by evidence. Evidence invariably takes second fiddle to narrative,” says Errol Morris, in the final episode of the documentary series Wilderness of Error. Besides the specific folkloric phrase ‘second fiddle’, is this all really about folklore (stories, rumor, gossip and innuendo even)? Earlier in the last episode Morris suggests that the more people get involved in a story the more it turns into a mess, which cuts against folkloric stories that have survived over thousands of years. To quote Morris exactly, he says, “This may prove a different kind of principle, that if you wait long enough and you involve enough people in telling any story, you’re gonna end up with a mess on your hands.” From the perspective of a legal matter, in the short term (of half a century!) perhaps this is true. It may be that over longer historical timeframes the stories tend to solidify in structure due to certain significant features (“motifs”) that are memorable or more recognizable. Morris is the emperor here no doubt, and he may have no clothes. I think the director here mostly treats Morris with kid gloves, to continue the metaphor. There is only one point (and not until the final episode) where there is a direct challenge to Morris’s narrative, and the famous director does admit he ‘doesn’t know’ the truth. There are many other pieces of evidence (such as the blue pajama top and the blood evidence) to which it would have been more challenging for Morris to respond, but these items are mentioned but delicately sidestepped in the way this is put together. If you look at the disconnected pieces of this documentary objectively, it is not inconclusive. I also would want to say the only reason that various critics call it ‘inconclusive' is that heaven forbid any shadow be cast upon the darling Errol Morris! This movie destroys Morris, but in a subtle way that allows for, shall we say, ‘plausible deniability'. At the end of this, after watching the video interviews with Helena Stoeckley, there is little denying that she was likely delusional, or at best easily suggestible at the hands of Prince Beasley or others interested in a meal ticket from the MacDonald case. All the other evidence marshaled in favor of MacDonald’s innocence is either outright fabrications (as in the Jimmy Britt tall tale) or else unsupported by any corroborating (physical) evidence. The follow-up interview with Errol Morris after the last bit with Stoeckley describing the alleged intrusion on the night of the murders is awkward to say the least. Her story fails to match MacDonald’s version of events and also does not conform to the physical evidence. Like many visionaries, Mr. Morris can't seem to admit he was wrong, but more importantly, he will never admit that the system he seems to abhor so much was actually right.

So, I saw this in a group that someone shared an article that was made in 2021, from Daily Express (not surprising), but it was speaking about Barbra Valentin.
Which this is what the person wrote about (sorry if it's long but reading it infuriates me):
Freddie Mercury's other woman after Mary 'They were in love, she was even wilder than him'
FREDDIE MERCURY loved Mary Austin his whole life. Even though he was a gay man, he also had one more passionate and intense relationship with outrageous actress Barbara in the mid-1980s, just before he met Jim Hutton. They even shared a bed and Freddie immortalised her in Queen's It's A Hard Life video.
Freddie Mercury and Mary Austin's break up discussed by friends
It's A Hard Life remains most famous for its outrageously OTT video, but Freddie's bandmate Brian May believes it is also one of his friend's most beautiful compositions. There is a moment when the Queen frontman sings the iconic and heartfelt line, "Two lovers together, to love and live forever in each other’s hearts." In the video, he is looking at the voluptuous and glamorous woman leaning over the balcony above him. This was Barbara Valentin, who shared two extraordinary years with Freddie in Munich. She remained close to him until the very end and was one of the few invited to his last ever birthday party.
This weekend marks the release of “It's A Hard Life” in 1984. At the time, Freddie was already living in Munich. He had discovered the German city in 1979 when the band recorded the album The Game at the famous Musicland studios.
Freddie's fame meant he increasingly struggled to find privacy in the UK at the same time as he had begun to explore his sexuality. Munich's thriving gay scene offered him freedom and opportunity.
From 1983-1985 the star made Munich his home and even bought a flat with devoted new friend Barbara.
Busty blonde bombshell Barbara was notorious in Germany as the provocative star of saucy films. Freddie loved her outrageous character and his friends believed he had met his match.
His PA and close friend Peter Freestone said: “They had the most intense, loving relationship. I know one hundred percent they shared a bed on numerous occasions."
Another friend, West End star Peter Straker, said: "I was told he just met this woman who was larger than life. Barbara was very outrageous. She was the queen of nudity.”
Royal Ballet star Wayne Sleep added: "Freddie was with a woman. So I thought.’There you go. He’s not predictable at all, is he, this boy?.’"
Another friend said: “It was almost like he enjoyed being with someone who had a wilder reputation than him.
Many years later, Barbara’s daughter Minki Reichardt said: “I know they were in love. I know that my mother was in love with him because she said so.
"I think their relationship was very close and very intense. They really liked the conflict. They were talking, shouting, arguing, and then they were in their arms again, it was always very lively. I think Freddie was the love of her life."
Barbara's German friend Elisabeth Volkmann went even further: “Freddie loved Barbara. Barbara loved him. And it was a big love between both. If he wouldn’t be homosexual, maybe they married “.
Except, of course, Freddie was homosexual. While Wayne Sleep believed Freddie had slept with Barbara. He certainly spent nights with her at her apartment on Stollberg Strasse. Peter Freestone remains a little more coy on the subject.
He added: "I wasn’t sitting in the room. I can’t tell you yes or no if sex happened. If it had, Freddie could not have been quiet about it."
In fact, for most of those two years in Munich, Freddie was also in a relationship with local restauranteur Winnie Kirschberger, despite the fact that neither spoke the other’s language.
Whatever her feelings for Freddie, Barbara was under no illusion about his sexuality. Like Mary before her, Barbara loved and supported the star and, in this case, provided even more vital and personal help to the men’s relationship.
Freestone said: "it was sometimes comical to watch the arguments happening... Both Freddie and Winnie would be screaming at Barbara who had to do her best to try to sort out the jumbled emotions."
It was an intense period in Freddie's life but the star was beginning to feel homesick and Mary had finally completed all the renovations to his new London house, One Garden Lodge, in Kensington.
The tumultuous relationship with Winnie was fizzling out and a new man from London, Jim Hutton, was on the scene. Freddie never actually moved into the flat he bought with Barbara and returned to the UK. Although he split up with Winnie, Freddie remained close to Barbara for the rest of his life and she flew over to see him one last time in 1990.
In September 1990, Freddie threw his last ever birthday bash, a very smart formal dinner. The following year he would be far too ill.
His close friend Dave Clarke, who was the man by his side when he died, recalled a very intimate night, filled with those Freddie loved most, including Barbara, who sat either side of him with Mary.
Clarke said: "On his last birthday, he just invited 30 of his closest friends and there were 30 different courses, done by his personal chef, Joe Fanelli, and 30 different types of wine to go with each course."
Freddie died the following November. Barbara herself passed away from a stroke on February 22, 2002.

*****
Just like Mary, this is making Barbra look like a saint when she wasn't either. She was weirdly possessive of Freddie. She wanted to rekindle the spotlight she had that was dimming out and she used Freddie.
Wayne Sleep, believing that both Freddie and Barbra slept together, reinforces that Freddie didn’t care about the consequences of his illness because he cared more about sex than people’s welfare, and was happy to risk spreading AIDS onto someone for the sake of a quick fix. Which we all know that's is not true. Freddie cared about others, especially the ones that betrayed and hurt him. While Freddie and Barbra were close they were not intimate with each other or screwed around.
Barbra was NOT a friend towards Freddie she made lies after lies about Freddie. Leaking stories to the German press that she and Freddie we're lovers and secretly engaged, claimed that Freddie was "abusive and pushed her head in a sink making her manager trying to get Freddie off of her", said he was pretending to be gay for clout and intentionally spreading AIDS to whoever he slept with.
Which Freddie learned about what she did and cut off the friendship with her. It's reasons why Brian absolutely despised her.
I'm surprised here it didn't talk about Freddie's funeral, by saying Barbra attended the funeral, while she wasn't. She was completely banned from attending by Jim and Mary after what she did to Freddie.
I mean, it’s the same bullshit we’ve seen for the past 30 years. “Oh yeah he was gay BUT he was in love with a woman” is not how it works, everyone knows that’s not how it works, but homophobes are somewhat more comfortable with Freddie fucking men if they think it was only ever sex with them and that his heart always belonged to women. Of course, the article intentionally leaves out quotes where Freddie’s friends, including Phoebe, confirmed that they never had sex. As you said, it also excludes that Barbara lied about Freddie and their relationship while he was alive, prompting him to distance himself from her, and she only doubled down once he was dead because she was a freak who used his name for clout and couldn’t cope with the fact that he’d never return her feelings.
She definitely wasn’t a real friend to him. Real friends don’t tell awful lies to the press like that, and they aren’t possessive, either. It seems like she was both possessive and pretty manipulative of Freddie, but people are fine with all of that as long as they could pretend Freddie felt romance for women to satisfy their homophobic butthurt feelings. Brian hates her and Roger said she was a bad influence on Freddie—there is no reason to defend this woman and repeat her lies.
And of course the article mentions Mary, too. There’s quite the overlap between Mary stans and Barbara defenders, because both wish Freddie wasn’t as gay as he was. It’s pathetic that articles like this are still published in the 2020s.

Numbers 30:1-31:54, Luke 4:1-30, Psalms 63:1-11, Proverbs 11:20-21
Today is the 20th day of March welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian and it is great to be here with you today like every day, wonderful to be around the global campfire, wonderful to have this place to be together. And the purpose that we gather is to take the next step forward in the Scriptures. And, so, let's dive in today. We are rounding the bend and coming to the conclusion of the book of Numbers. Couple more days and we will move forward before this week is out but we are still in the book of Numbers and our next step forward leads us to where we left off. Today we will read Numbers chapters 30 and 31.
Commentary:
Okay. So, we have a really interesting scene in the gospel of Luke today and the scene centers around Jesus and the beginning of his ministry, but this is Jesus. And, so, we’re watching Him also model life on earth as it was intended to be for us, that we may follow the same pattern. So, Jesus was baptized outside of Jericho at the Jordan River where John was baptizing people. This is desert terrain. And once Jesus was baptized, He went out into the wilderness for 40 days. Jesus had His own wilderness journey and very likely His 40 days in the wilderness imitate the 40 years that the children of Israel were wandering in the wilderness. And, so, from a symbolic perspective Jesus would be revealing that the wandering is coming to a close. But while Jesus is in the wilderness, He has an encounter with Satan in the desert and Satan is there to provoke or to test or to tempt him. and it's interesting the things that the evil one goes after. there are temptations to go after Jesus physical body. There are temptations for Jesus to worship lesser things. And there's a temptation for Jesus to test God all with a promise attached to these temptations. If you do these things, it's the easiest way to get what you want. If you do these things everything can be easy. Everything will be immediately better. Worship me, and you can have it all. There's no battle here. Worship me, and you can have all of it. If we pause and think about the seasons that we have spent in the wilderness, those seasons do wear us down and shake us till all that is unshakable is all that remains, and we do see clearly our utter dependence upon God. But if we are honest about the seasons that we've been in the truth is probably 90% of the time was spent thrashing around trying to figure out how to get away from the hardship or the difficulty or the challenge. It's in that thrashing around that we begin to experience those subtle and similar temptations. It can be so much easier if you take this path out of this wilderness even though you know this is the wrong path, even though you know this is not the right thing. It can all be yours in it can all be yours easy if you just step away from this wilderness, follow the path that I'm laying out for you, worship me, all will be good. And it's unlikely that we hear it like that. It's that we’re thrashing around looking for any way out instead of embracing the safety of the wilderness, knowing that once again we are utterly dependent upon God, and there are no shortcuts because we need…we need the lesson that we are learning for what comes next. And as it turns out in the gospel of Luke, Jesus resists the devil. The devil does leave Him and as the gospel of Luke says the devil leaves Him for another opportune time. And then the next scene is that Jesus makes it back to Nazareth, which appears to be the next opportune time because Jesus is in His hometown. He's come home to declare the inauguration of the ministry and the fulfillment of prophecy. And, so, the people have been hearing about Jesus and they're happy to hear Jesus and they’re intrigued very much by the way that He communicates and what He's saying but they’re also…there was skepticism and they just want to see Him do the things they’ve been hearing about and that’s when Jesus tells them a prophet really has no regard in his hometown. In the end, the people of Nazareth are enraged and they drag Jesus to the top of a cliff. This is…well the traditional place now is called Mt. Precipice. And, so, Jesus is able to overcome the temptation in the wilderness, but can He overcome a mob that is intent on throwing Him off the side of a cliff and that being the end of the story. And it's interesting because Jesus is here on this precipice and He just…according to the gospel of Luke, and I quote, “He passed through the crowd and went on His way.” So, we can look at the scene and go, okay, there…here's a miraculous kind of thing, Jesus somehow got cloaked, He had the power of invisibility and he just disappeared, and he went on His way. This is a miraculous event here. We can look at it as an event in Jesus’ ministry life. We also need to look at what's being modeled here in the life of Jesus and apply it to our own lives. Jesus overcame temptation in His wilderness journey, only to come and face cynicism and marginalization by His own hometown, His own people, where He had specifically come to announce His ministry, to announce what He came to do and to tell everybody this is being fulfilled. Like, you got to see, you are getting to see something happen that was foretold. In the end they just want the magic and in the end, they're going to throw Him off the cliff and in the end, they are denying what He came to tell them He had come to do. These are the voices of doubt. These are the voices of cynicism. These are the voices that say you'll never be able to do that. These are the voices telling Jesus we've known you since you were a kid and we’re not sure You are who You think You are or who You’re purporting Yourself to be, right? A direct attack on Jesus’ identity. Oh…we all experience these things. Every human being experiences these kinds of things and so often we experience these kinds of things from people that know us, like that we’re never really allowed to grow beyond who we were even though we’re double the age of who we were when we lived there in the hometown. Like, we get stuck. We’re pigeonholed. We’re put into a place and our identity feels attacked. And, so, being in that environment makes us feel small. What is the lesson here? He passed through the crowd and went on His way, which is indeed what He did. He went on his way and kept doing what He came to do. It would be very helpful for us to remember this scene as we walk through these seasons because we all will and there may be times that we need to follow Jesus, who is telling us we need to get out of here and pass through the crowd and go on our way and continue on the mission that God has given us.
Prayer:
Jesus, we invite You into that. That's not permission for us to become aloof and arrogant. That’s permission for us to just abandon everything that challenges us. That is an awareness that as we walk with You and follow in the pathways that You have laid out for us and as we see You at work in the world and in our lives and in our families and in our communities we need to be awake and aware to that which is attacking our identity and the mission that You have placed us upon and be willing to pass through it and move on our way as You lead us. Help us to see where we’re going and why. Help us to understand what You are doing. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Good morning Daily Audio Bible family this is Josh. I go by Living Daily in Him Today. I called in about a year and a half ago for my daughter who was struggling with anxiety and having an anxiety attack when moving into the dorms. I'm just happy to say that she is off of all medications. It's been a long journey for her, but she is doing much better. Glory be to God. He is so faithful. But about a year ago she told us that she was pregnant and that there was lots of hard conversations and medical trips and finally last year she told us that she was going to be having twins. So, that was very not expected but the babies are doing excellent. They were born on January 12th. They spent about a month and 1/2 in the NICU. So, it was an awesome journey with her. But about a couple days ago they…her and her baby's dad got into a little argument, and we just really want to lift them up. We know that it's hard to go through anything like that especially when you're not married and you're not together. So, I just pray that you would just lift them up and be with us today. And dear God I also want to lift up Widespread Jesus. That is a huge blessing that you've been so encouraged, and we just want you to be able to glorified, and know that you can trust in Jesus and if you are faithful to Him he will show Himself faithful to you just like He has with me. I love you all have a great day.
Hey Daily Audio Bible I'm just calling about somebody who prayed for someone else who it was a lady who was struggling with her legs and then she just had to put her mom into a facility. So, yeah, just dear heart just know that you are loved and cared for. Yeah, there are just so many things going on, so many things happening so fast and sometimes it's all we can do is just cry out to God to cling to Him. And, so, that's what I'm asking you to do and anybody else. So, yeah, my mother passed away on March 1st and just…just being gone for a week so many things happened while I was gone. I mean it's like unbelievable it's like…just even trying to ingest. So…so…but I just wanna pray for everyone to just hang on just to cling on to Jesus. He's…He's the only one that we can cling on to. He's the answer. So, we thank you God and I thank you God for…for being able to pray and then being able to ask for prayer. So, in Yeshua's name __. My friends, love you. Thank you so much...
Hi this is Victoria Soldier just calling to pray for some of the DABbers. I just wanted to pray for Blessing in California as she was saying that she was having a problem sleeping well and some of the challenges that she's going through. And I wanted to pray for some of those that are going through depression and pray for our precious babies that are having some of the challenges that are coming on them with the schools and the…and the different direction and…and things that are directing them to something that's saying it's God but isn't God. We just ask Lord in the name of Jesus You are the way the truth and the light. Father, You help them to see the light. You have Your way, Lord. Bless my precious sister who's having a problem sleeping Lord. We ask You to have Your way, ask You to bless her with Your peace Lord. Give her such a sweet peace that she'll sleep, that she will sleep with a sleep that is sweet and peaceful Father. In the name of Jesus, we ask that You continue to have Your way. Continue to bless Kingdom Seeker, Kingdom…Lady of Victory and my brother Tony…Blind Tony, my precious brother, Blind Tony and Joe the Protector and God's Smile and my sister the Encourager, my precious sister the Encourager. Lord, continue to bless her, continue to encourage her God, continue to open doors, give life and favor to Your people, to all of Your DABbers Father and bless them in a mighty and special way. Let Your divine will be done in their life and all will give You the glory. Continue to bless Brian in being a grandfather and Jill as being a new grandmother again in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Hello, my DAB family this is Jamie in New Jersey Standing on the Word of God. I humbly ask you to please pray with me. Dear Father in heaven thank You for the establishment of Your church. Thank You for placing us with a body of believers who care about us and are willing to pray and believe alongside us for the desires of our hearts. It is such an amazing blessing to have a church family we can share life’s up and downs with and who help us grow stronger in our faith. Help Your church show itself strong and mighty in this dark world. Thank You for loving and choosing us in Christ to be wholly and without fault in Your eyes even before You made the world. Please help us keep our relationship strong, unified, and loving in the body so we can always find You amongst us. You have promised that if there are two of us calling Your name You are with us binding our hearts and blessing our souls with Your presence. Father, help Your church body to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given us. Help us in all our interactions with one another to have humble and gentle hearts. Grant us patience for one another bearing with one another in love. Let us truly reflect Your love to the world around us we pray in Jesus’ name Amen. Thank you for praying along with me my brothers and sisters. I love you all dearly. Have a good night.

**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● nice opening scene for Ravage, though oddly he has pupils in one panel ● I like Charlene, but I didn’t like how she pushed Wendell into doing something he didn’t wanna do ● I don’t think “finders keepers” works for any disabled vehicle you find. there’s a process, Charlene! oh well, the plot needs what the plot needs. ● Jake’s a menace! ● Skids is all, “Charlene, Charlene, Charlene, Charleeeee-eeene…”
Tumblr media
● Skids was an anthropologist back on Cybertron! that makes me love him so much ● his giant face in Charlene’s window is hilarious ● O_O Skids! you pervert ● this issue is so good! ● Jake comin’ in clutch ● 👏👏👏👏👏
Synopsis: Ravage scours the Wyoming wilderness searching for Donny Finkleberg, who fled from Decepticon captivity during their last battle with the Autobots. Donny has come across an empty campsite and takes some clothing so that he can get out of his Robot Master costume, leaving money behind for the clothing that he's taken. Fleeing the scene, he spots Skids but thinks he's just an abandoned junker, and Skids is unable to make contact because his speech circuits have been disabled.
Ravage meanwhile manages to track Donny's scent to the campsite and destroys it. However, when he finds no remains in the resulting explosion, he continues his search for Donny. While miles away, grocery store clerk Charlene is given a ride home by her co-worker Wendell. On the ride home, she laments at how dull her job is and expresses her need for adventure. She convinces Wendell to drive off the road and explore a little and they come across Skids. They are about to dismiss it as a wreck when Skids turns on his radio, prompting Charlene to convince Wendell to bring the vehicle back to his Uncle Bob's garage. There Bob manages to make repairs and turns the car over to Charlene who drives off with it. Skids finds the idea of being this young woman's vehicle interesting and decides to carry on the charade of being a normal car.
Things get hairy when Jake spots Skids coming out of the garage and chases after the Autobot in an attempt to get even over a fender bender caused by Skids. No matter how hard Jake tries to smash up the Autobot, Skids uses his extraordinary powers to fend off his attacks, and all Jake gets is a green coat of paint splattered on his car for all his troubles. Charlene is frightened by the seemingly impossible stunts and tries to abandon the vehicle. Skids reveals his true form to her and explains his origins and explains that he is sick of dying or the threat of death and simply wishes to be her car. Charlene decides to give him a chance. Jake and his girlfriend meanwhile have gone to a diner, and as he's talking about the experience he witnessed, his story is overheard by Donny Finkleberg who is interested in the story.
As the days progress, Charlene and Skids spend time together, Skids gets introduced to westerns and is shown the local scenery. He is eventually tracked down by Donny who demands that Charlene and Skids give up their rues because he has important information to give to the Autobots. Just then they are attacked by Ravage, forcing Donny to push Charlene into Skids and speed off to safety. Spotted speeding away by Jake, the tough guy follows after them.
Donny, Charlene, and Skids decide to try and hide out in an abandoned western town where they are tracked by Jake and his girlfriend. Jake takes a tire iron and manages to sneak up on Skids and smash his windshield, causing Skids to black out. He has a nightmare where Charlene is a prisoner of Megatron who forces Skids into a draw, one which he loses and is obliterated. As he's coming around, Donny is telling Jake off for smashing the windshield when they are attacked once more by Ravage. Ravage pounces on Skids, but before he can destroy the Autobot, Jake, having a change of heart rams his car into Ravage giving Skids enough time to come around and transform into robot mode.
Ravage is by far the more superior combatant and manages to knock Skids near an abandoned mine shaft. This proves to be Ravages undoing as when he lunges toward Skids, the Autobot moves out of the way and Ravage ends up falling down a mineshaft, and seemingly destroyed. In the aftermath of the battle, Skids realizes that he cannot abandon the Autobots mission to stop the Decepticon on Earth, otherwise people he cares about like Charlene will be hurt. Saying goodbye to Charlene, Skids leaves with Donny to take the information Finkleberg has to Optimus Prime.

The  Outdoor Education Center IHS Land Lab
Tulip Trail
Independence, OH 44131
The Independence Local Schools’ Outdoor Education Center in Independence, OH, was once a Nike missile base and now more than 50 acres of protected land in the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation area, the land has been restored to its former unspoiled condition.  All forms of native wildlife, plants and animals are given an opportunity to redevelop to their maximum vitality in an environment with minimal human disturbance, according to Dr. Tien Wei Yang, an ecologist who assisted in the early planning of the center, which opened in 1970.
The center is not just a bird sanctuary, a wildlife refuge, an arboretum or a live museum, Yang explained.  More than that, it is a place where young and old, can learn to make accurate observations of this redevelopment and this resurgence of life, to record and to interpret these observations.  Managed by the students of the Biology Society at Independence High School -- and more affectionately known as the land lab -- this outdoor nature classroom and wilderness tract has been under the direction of only two advisers in its lifetime.
Founder William Taylor and current adviser Scott Maretka, who teaches biology at the high school, both share the same vision of exposing students to the outdoors and learning the importance of taking care of their natural environment.  The facilities are used throughout the school year not only by Maretka’s science classes, but by other area school groups. Maretka and his Biology Society students host various nature activities and field trips for students as young as preschool, which he said gave him the idea of creating an outdoor education class for his high school students.
Maretka said the land lab impacts the community around it by providing the right habitat for a wide diversity of living organisms.  The small pond is a breeding pool for the spotted salamander.  Every student that comes through Independence Schools has an opportunity to experience outdoor education at the land lab, according to Superintendent Ben Hegedish.  This land acquired from the federal government in the late 1960s has been a treasure to the Independence Local Schools for generations. Hegedish understands the fierce passion to protect the land lab and he shares this passion, too.
The Outdoor Education Center (OEC 1 Site), a Independence Board of Education building, is also an archaeological site of prehistoric people of the Whittlesey culture and earlier. It is located in Independence, Ohio, in a wooden nature preserve along the Cuyahoga River. Animal bones, Madison point stone tools, and Tuttle Hill decorated pottery sherds were attributed to the Whittlesey culture. The excavated items were found over a dispersed area in 1999 by a group led by Mark Kollecker, Supervisor of Archaeology Field Programs of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History. From the several excavations, the village sat on two to four acres.
Kollecker led another Archaeology Field Experience program group in April and May 2000 and found several post molds and nine cooking and storage pits of prehistoric people. A Leimbach cord-marked vessel from about 500 B.C. is believed to be from the Early Woodland period, long before the Whittlesey culture would have lived at the site.[11] Brian G. Redmond led another group during the summer, where more post molds, storage pits, and trash pits were found. One of the storage pits was a large hold for maize 5.4 by 5.1 ft, diameter and depth, respectively. They also found cooking features, many stone tools and pottery, and a partially subterranean sweat lodge.  Animals butchered at the site include small game animals, raccoon, wild turkey, elk and deer. They fished for freshwater mollusk and fish in the Cuyahoga River. Two artifacts may have been used for ceremonial purposes. One was an engrave slate gorget, the other is the skull of dog, which had been drilled with 14 symmetrically-placed holes, cut and ground.

Top 10 Worst Number One Hits of the Oldies Era
By Robert Fontenot
The Billboard chart rankings, at least in rock's first golden age, were well-known for their accuracy. Which means somebody must have loved these songs... but time has not been kind to these smash hits, all of which were the most popular songs in the US for at least one week of glory. (Click on "compare prices" to hear a clip of the song in question and, maybe, buy it anyway. Got a suggestion for another horrible Number One hit of the Fifties, Sixties, or Seventies? Feel free to e-mail me!)
1. Pat Boone, "Love Letters In The Sand"
(four weeks, June 8 - July 6, 1957) Yes, you can hate Pat for watering down rock and roll from the very beginning, or by using the segregation of radio to steal the thunder (and sales) from the original black versions of songs like "Tutti Frutti," or for hypocritically railing against rock ever since. But let's face it: this 1931 vintage ballad is surpassingly lame all by itself, and Boone's vocals don't help -- compared to this, "Moody River" is a blues song. A triumph of reactionary thinking, and also mediocrity.
2. Brian Hyland, "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini"
(one week, August 13, 1960) Novelty songs are easy to bash -- no one likes hearing the same joke over and over again. But this (Number) one's pretty awful, even if Hyland himself wasn't really to blame. (He went on to do a great, distinctive cover of the Impressions' "Gypsy Woman.") The bikinied girl wearing something too small to be seen in public is actually a toddler, or at least that's how it was written. Ew. Billy Wilder's 1961 film One, Two, Three uses this song to torture one of its characters... literally!
3. Steve Lawrence, "Go Away Little Girl"
(two weeks, January 12 - 19, 1963 This one was actually penned by famed songwriting duo Gerry Goffin and Carole King, but that doesn't make this syrupy, loping ballad any less goofy -- like any Brill Building vets, they turned out lots of duds, due simply to the assembly-line nature of their job. We could blame Steve Lawrence, except that Donny Osmond came back with the very same song and a similar arrangement and owned the top spot all over again for three weeks in September 1971. Bleh.
4. Herman's Hermits, "I'm Henry the VIII, I Am"
(one week, August 7, 1965) The Hermits were only as good as their material, and this WWI music-hall singalong seemed to be yet another attempt by their handlers to make them the most British of the British Invasion acts (which is pretty ironic, since the Brits had invaded in the first place by sounding American). Also used as a torture device, this time in the film Ghost. And -- get this -- never released in England. But in the US, it was the fastest-selling single of all time.
5. Barry McGuire, "Eve Of Destruction"
(one week, September 25, 1965) Hard to believe this was written by P.F. Sloan, who also gave the world "Secret Agent Man" and the Turtles' "You Baby." But it's true: he's the one responsible for rhyming "Red China" with "Selma, Alabama" and declaring "My blood's so mad, feels like coagulatin'." It doesn't help that former New Christy Minstrel singer McGuire hits the "social outrage" button with a sledgehammer, either. The most dated and terrifying of the era's many, many Dylan knockoffs.
6. Bobby Goldsboro, "Honey"
(five weeks, April 13 - May 11, 1968) Even for a death song, this one's really soapy... the narrator's young wife cries a lot, likes puppies and trees, and then gets carried off by the angels one day, for some unknown reason. (Although, since Bobby finds her crying in the middle of the day and she passes the following spring, I'm going to guess cancer.) Features the immortal verse: "She wrecked the car and she was sad / And so afraid that I'd be mad / But what the heck." Indeed.
7. Zager & Evans, "In The Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)"
(five weeks, July 12 - August 9, 1969) Scaaaaary. Five hundred years from now (and then some), we'll all take pills to think, have no use for our arms, and pick our children from a long glass tube. Okay, maybe that last part is accurate. But what you're hearing here is a society shocked and frightened by its own technology -- this was Number One when man landed on the moon. So why can't this tuneless, retrofuturistic wonder work itself up to a better climax than "man has cried a billion tears"?
8. Minnie Riperton, "Lovin' You"
(one week, April 5, 1975) Riperton was a fine vocalist, and this is, at heart, a pleasant little song. But it suffers from a very early-Seventies belief that love should be uncomfortably touchy-feely, like your creepster uncle. ("And every time that we... oooooh!") This in itself might not have made "Lovin' You" so embarrassing, and Minnie's jaws-of-life, I-hear-the-voice-of-spring vocal crescendos might not have hurt quite so bad. But God! The birds! The constant twittering of birds! Why the birds?!
9. Rick Dees & his Cast of Idiots, "Disco Duck (pt.1)"
(one week, October 16, 1976) Dees was, at one point, the most popular DJ in America (behind Dick Clark, if you count him, and definitely Casey Kasem). But it's not thanks to this horrid excuse for a novelty, in which Dees goes to a disco and somehow, for some reason, morphs into Donald Duck. It's just an excuse to do voiceover work anyway, which is also why, at the end, there's an impersonation of Elvis (still alive at the time). This isn't a song, it's a bad morning zoo.
10. Rupert Holmes, "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)"
(three weeks, December 22 - 29, 1979, January 12, 1980) Rupert was the pen behind the Buoys' bizarre hit "Timothy," an ode to cannibalism. So he knows how to get your attention. But this oily story song comes on like a hairy polyester lounge lizard who won't stop rubbing your arm. Rupert decides to leave his girl, places an ad in the paper, shows up for a one-night stand and finds... his girl, who was also looking for some strange. And no one's angry about it. Yet. (I wouldn't sleep too hard around her, if you know what I'm saying.)
