GOSH thank you so much for liking my old hq stuff enough to ask for more!! I’m not sure if I’ll get back to drawing bokuro soon, honestly? So I can’t promise that if I’ll go through with the suggestion it’ll be soon, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind for when the mood strikes!! And about the shop, I add to it whenever I feel there’s enough stuff piled up to? Though I plan to start adding more often than that from now on - I don’t really have anything for momo and kuroo to add on rb that isn’t already there, but as soon as I’ll have more of either of them I’ll remember to put them up! Thank you!!!!!! I actually used to have that same problem with shadows? However much I kept track of where the lightsource was and the shapes I was working with it always looked wrong, somehow - the way I fixed it was by adding more shadows, actually. If you’ll pick any of my colored pieces you’ll see I don’t really put down lights all that often, which means the base color ends up being my light color too, and everything else is just shadows getting darker the further I go from where the light hits the object I’m shading - generally, I use a soft tool like a brush or a marker to very roughly put down where I want the shadows to go, and then using the same tool I smudge and darken it till it looks right to me. I can’t really explain it any better than this? But I have a small tutorial for how I do this in my art tips tag, if you wanna give it a look!

It’s a mixture of both, actually! I like to look at clothing, both irl (on people I see, or stuff in the shops I visit, or even pics and movies and tv shows!) and drawn too - in anime and illustrations and manga and cartoons! I look at them and try to remember how they’re made, and then when I draw I think about it all and come up with my own by mixing stuff I liked from all those things - unless I see a piece of clothing that’d work just right as it is on a character, in which case I just draw it either as best as I can from memory or, if I have it, using a ref! It’s one of the things I find the most fun when drawing, I’m glad to hear you like what I come up with!! Thank you so much!!!

I like it!! I don’t actively ship it, since my only actual ship for Kirishima is kiribaku, but I like the look of him with todo, aesthetically, and their friendship is highly entertaining to me, which means their potential relationship in a romantic setting is too - and, as we’ve seen with my very random dip into the non-existent kirijiro fandom, that’s more than enough for me to decide maybe I’ll wanna go and draw for them, one of these days haha

Could you do a bechloe fic inspired by supertrooper from abba/mamma Mia

Ok, I love Mamma Mia so I was super pumped to do this. 

Currently, I’m not accepting request because you guys gave me plenty of prompts to last a while (thank you for that btw) so please don’t send me more. For now. I let you know when I open up my inbox on my blog. Thank you.

Now to the fun part. Hope you enjoy it :D 

Theplane roughly landed on the runway, jolting Beca out of her restless slumber. She screwed her eyes shot, hoping if she prayed hard enough she would get another ten minutes of rest. 

God, she just went to sleep twenty minutes ago.

She was exhausted. Twenty different counties in two months was duo to take a toll on her body but she never expected that it would push her to the edge. Her body was heavy with tiredness and her mind was numb. 

She pursed her lips together in anger and threw on her sunglasses. The last thing she needed was a paparazzi catching her at the airport, looking like a mess. Even if she was one.

#16 Glasgow. 

‘Here we go again’ she thought bitterly as she pulled her carry-on behind her off the plane, following her manager who led her through the messes of people. She plastered on a smile for her fans waiting at the gate for her, signing some autograph but kept the conversation brief. She climbed in a taxi and as soon as the doors were closed, she let out a deep breath. 

James, her manager, pulled out his phone and looked at the scheduled. “Okay, so we arrive at the hotel in about an hour then it’s soundcheck and the concert is tomorrow at 8. You have nothing else planned.”

Beca rolled her eyes. That list didn’t sound like nothing. As if it weren’t enough.

“Fine.” She murmured and tried to get comfortable on the leather seat, looking out the window at the passing buildings as she got lost in her head. 

Don’t get her wrong, she loved performing. She loved the feeling of the music pumping through her bones, completely consuming her mind, making her forget about everything for a second. Hearing the crowd scream when that one favorite song started playing…It was addicting. 

However, when the high came crushing down after the concert was over, Beca was physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted. And that feeling repeated itself over and over again, leaving her no room to breath. 

After soundcheck, she marched back into her hotel room, ignoring the invitation to explore the city in favor of finally closing her eyes for more than half an hour. She sighed as she locked the door and let her eyes wonder over the spacious luxury room that she was staying in for the night. 

She knew she should be grateful. She was traveling around the world, singing in front of thousands of people who admired her beyond her worth but she couldn’t help but longed to be home. 

The fairly sized apartment she purchased when her carrier took off. The cozy, two bedroom apartment that she called home. Her home with Chloe. 

At the thought of her redhead, Beca smiled softly. She hadn’t seen her in so long. 

She went over to the king size bed and laid down. It’s going to be over soon and then she would be back where she belonged. 

Fishing out her phone from her pocket, her fingers automatically went to the gallery, a habit she developed whenever she was missing her. The amount of selfies she found there of Chloe was overwhelming and fulfilling at the same time. Beca chuckled as Chloe pulled a funny face to the camera, laying in their bed. 

Her smile was quickly replaced by a sad sigh when the next picture was of them in Central Park with Beca planting a kiss on Chloe’s cheek while the redhead’s eyes were closed, a content smile on her face. 

She closed the app and went into her contacts, putting the phone to her ears. It didn’t take two rings before Chloe’s voice sounded from the other end.

“Hey, stranger.” Her tone was cheerful, pulling a small smile from Beca. “I was just thinking about you.” 

“Yeah?” Beca asked quietly. 

“Your song was on the radio when I was coming home. You better believe, I cracked up the music and sang at the top of my lungs.” Chloe chuckled. “I think, some teenager filmed it at the red light.” 

“I hope you don’t end up on Youtube like last time.” Beca smiled and snickered at the memory of a very drunk Chloe at a karaoke bar, break dancing on the floor - or trying, more accurately - while the “Friends” theme song played in the background. 

Chloe groaned loudly. “Oh, so embarrassing. I gotta tell you sometimes it’s not worth being the love of your life. Your fans care way too much about me.” 

Beca raised her eyebrows and smirked. “The love of my life, huh?” 

“Am I wrong?” 

“No…not even a little bit.” Beca smiled faintly and shook her head. “It’s so good to hear your voice.” She admitted quietly, closing her eyes as Chloe paused for a second.

“I miss you too, baby. But It’s going to be over soon.” Chloe said soothingly. “It’s one more month than you are home.” 

Beca clenched her jaw. “I don’t think I can do this anymore.” 

On the other end of the world, Chloe sighed and sat down on the couch, pulling a blanket over her lap. 

“What happened?” 

Beca exhaled harshly and bit her bottom lip. “I’m just…tired. I’m tired of everything. All I do is eat, sleep and sing over and over again. I don’t remember the last time I slept for 8 hours. Chloe, I - I wish I was done with it.” 

“Oh, Becs…” 

And Beca hated to admit it but she felt tears building behind her eyes at Chloe’s tone. 

“I - I wish I could do something to help you…” 

The brunette snapped herself out of her pity party and wiped away the tears, plastering on her smile even though Chloe couldn’t see her. 

“You already doing it. Just by talking to me.” She chuckled humorlessly. “I just needed to vent a little, I guess. I’m fine now.”

“Beca…” 

Beca knew she would want to keep talking about it but the brunette suddenly left drained out. She cut her off quickly. “But that’s enough about me. Tell me about your day.” 

The other line was silent for a second before Chloe signed and reluctantly changed the subject for Beca’s sake. 

The couple was on the phone for more than an hour before Beca wasn’t able to keep her eyes open. When her words slurped into mumbles, Chloe started chuckling softly.

“Go to bed, baby. You had a long day.” 

She thought about protesting but Beca couldn’t deny that she could fall asleep in seconds so she unwillingly bid goodbye to Chloe and finally closed her eyes.

All the way in New York City, Chloe started at the phone, Beca’s caller ID picture still showing on the screen with her characteristic frown in place. Chloe looked at the picture fondly and made up her mind. 

She dialed a number and put the phone to her ear.

“Hey, it’s Chloe…no, no, everything’s alright…I just…I have a huge favor to ask you.”

The air was buzzing with energy and anticipation as the clock ticked closer to 8 pm and the stadium was filling up with fans. Backstage was a chaos, just like it always was as several people ran around trying to get everything ready in time. 

Beca was going over her set list for the last time in her dressing room as the hairdresser curled the last strand of hair and deemed her perfect. Beca hummed in response and stood up, blindly making her way to the edge of the stage. Her band was already in place, only waiting for their cue to start. 

She took a deep breath. No matter how many times she had done this, she just couldn’t shake away the nerves. The lights suddenly dimmed and the crowd went crazy, knowing Beca was minutes away from appearing. 

As she was about to take a step, James suddenly called out for her.

“Beca!” 

Beca frowned and turned around. James was barely able to contain his smile and he waved his hand towards himself. 

“I need to borrow you for a second.” 

Beca looked back at the stage and raised her eyebrows. “I’m…in the middle of something.”

James shook his head. “That can wait. Big artists are late all the time. Come with me.” 

Not knowing what to say, Beca carefully followed her manager as he led her to her dressing room. Beca stopped in front of the closed door and turned to him. 

“You’re acting weird. Just tell me what’s going on.” 

James smirked. “Just open the door.”

“Ja - “

“Open the door, Beca.” 

The brunette scoffed in annoyance and waited for a second, hoping James would break but he stood his ground. Throwing a glare his way, Beca stepped closer and cautiously opened the door. 

Her heart jumped in her throat at the sight that greeted her. 

Chloe stood in the middle of the room, with all her beautiful glory, smiling from ear to ear. Beca’s mouth fell open as she froze to the spot. She couldn’t believe this. Chloe didn’t say a word just went over and after a long month of being away from each other, she finally wrapped her in her arms. 

Beca felt the tears cloud her vision as she finally admitted to herself that this was the reality. Her body came alive as she clenched to the redhead, squeezing her around the waist and tucking her head in the crook of her neck. Chloe laughed happily and squeezed her tightly. 

“Wh - How?” Beca murmured against her skin, not letting go of her for a second. 

“I know you needed me. So, I called James and he flew me out.” Chloe answered. “I missed you so much.” 

Beca swallowed down her tears and pulled back slightly. Her lips collided with Chloe’s gently and she didn’t care if it sounded mushy but it felt like coming home.

“I’m staying with you for the rest of the tour.” Chloe whispered, her eyes boring into Beca’s.

“But what about work?” 

Chloe smirked, winking at the brunette. “Don’t worry about it. I can be persuasive if I want to.” 

Beca shook her head disbelievingly but the smile wouldn’t leave her face. She wouldn’t doubt that for a second.

“Umm, I don’t mean to interrupt the moment…” James’ voice rang out suddenly, breaking the bubble over their heads as the couple turned to them. “But your fans are waiting.” 

Beca nodded. “Thank you.” She looked deep into his eyes, making sure he knew she meant the words sincerely. James smiled back at her. Message received. 

Beca turned her head back to Chloe. “Don’t leave.” 

Chloe smiled at her fondly, pulling her in for a quick kiss. “Never.” 

A large smile blossomed on Beca’s face as she ran out of the room and all the way to the edge of the stage. She signaled to the band and they started her entrance music again. 

As she stepped out onto the stage, she knew tonight was going to be different.

Because somewhere in the crowd, there was Chloe.

Little statistics before I get to the point: I read 30 books this year; half of them were by American authors; 1/3 were written by Poles (I read more Polish books than I expected tbh). Which leaves me with one French non-fiction book, one Russian classic, one set of stories by Chinese-American and one Mongolian 13-th century chronicle (”The secret history of Mongols” which was amazing to read btw!)

I looked then at my Goodreads “read” list and decided: that’s it. No more American authors for me next year. And it’s not that I despise American literature or anything: as in every country, there are very good and very bad books. So it’s really not as much about quality, as it is about way of story-telling and establishing story structure and simply: way of seeing the world. And I realised I won’t be getting enough diversity of that if I stay inside one - even if vast and diverse itself - country.

And besides, we are so surrounded by American mainstream media EVERY day and yet, new technologies and especially e-books allow us to reach books that were previously not possible to get in some countries, so why not use these possibilities?

So I kindly ask you to recommend me some books written by non-Americans, if you know any. They can be classics, contemporary, fantasy, YA, I don’t really care. There is only one obvious condition: they must be translated either into English or Polish or eventually German (if they don’t include a difficult kind of language).

So far I have on my list [list was included here, I deleted it bc this post got way too long as it was] Pls recommend me some more titles so I can fill this list up to 30 books! : )

The One Where I Come Back from a Super-Long Hiatus and Pretend Like Nothing Happened

Okay so it’s been a hot ass minute since I’ve last posted and first of all, let me apologize. The past few months have been absolutely crazy for me and, of course, I did what writers do best (or at least what I do best) and convinced myself that this blog didn’t really matter because like, no one was reading it (even though I know that’s not true).  In case anyone wanted to know, in the past couple of months I have graduated from college, got published for the first time ever, and had a film showcased in a film festival, so I guess I’m doing a lot better than I thought I would have been a couple of posts ago. (Oh yeah btw, I’m a writer/filmmaker now so that’s cool!)

I’m not really sure where to start with this post but I guess I’ll start with graduation. I graduated a semester early with a degree in Creative Writing and a minor in Cinema Studies. Leaving college honestly was really hard for me because I had really grown to feel like a part of the community at my school and of course, all my friends were still there and weren’t graduating along with me so the prospect of moving back home and leaving them for god knows how long sounded terrible. Then I did it; and if I’m being 100% honest, I love my life outside of college so much more than I loved the life I was trying so desperately to hold on to.

My stress levels are not even close to where they used to be, even on my worst days, I love the feeling of not constantly having some deadline looming over my head and I’m really starting to come into my own now that I have the room, the time and the freedom to really figure out who I am and who I want to be. So, if you’re just about at that cusp, where you’re about to say goodbye to academia (whether it's for now or for good), know that it’s (as in life after college) probably going to be a lot easier and more enjoyable than you’re expecting. And if you’re just starting out at college, please for the love of god, enjoy the hell out of it. Go to events, get things for free and find yourself. That’s what college is for (and networking! Please don’t forget networking!).

Ok, now what you probably were most interested in: the fact that I finally got published for the first time! The time : June 2018. The place: The Exposition Review. The competition I won honorable mention in: the Flash 405 contest (“. . . Exposition Review’s multi-genre flash competition, awarding prizes and online publication to the winners!” - direct from Exposition Review’s website.)  Each competition round is either judged by a managing editor or a guest judge (the round I entered in was guest judged) and sometimes themes are involved, sometimes they’re not. When I entered into the competition, the theme was nature, and there were no rules besides to just write whatever came to mind when you thought of nature. This was just about 4 months after the Parkland shooting, and the nature of  gun violence in our country was *the* hot topic in the national dialogue, and I was still handling my personal reaction to the shooting so I decided to write about the nature of gun violence in our country. I thought maybe it would be too risky, and some of the descriptions I wrote are still hard for me to go back and reread but obviously someone found it moving, as opposed to over the top (thank god!).

The process of getting published was actually a lot easier than I had thought previously (see my second post: The Attempted Start at a Career.) and I think it’s because I felt like I actually had something to say. I had something to add to the national dialogue, and here was someone willing to give me a platform (however seemingly unimportant it may seem, it’s still my words published on the internet for anyone to read and ponder over and I think that’s really cool) and I was hoping that my decision to talk about the nature of gun violence and how it has and is shaping our country would come out of left field, but in a good way, and it totally paid off. If you were to go back to my second post, you’ll see me talking about how I don’t know where to submit, or which stories, or really what to do. I was floundering before I had even gotten started but now that I’m on the other side of the coin, I can tell my past self (and anyone else who feels the same way I did back in that post) that casting a wide net and seeing what sticks was absolutely not the route for me. (Though it might be for you! The best way to find out is to try.)

My new approach to sending things out for submissions is to find competitions or  publishers who are looking for something I can give them, and something I do well, or to look for competitions with themes or restrictions or guidelines that spark my interest and inspire me to write something specifically for that competition or what-have you. (I wrote “Waves” in an inspired daze after deciding that I wanted to write about gun violence for the Flash 405 contest.) So, for anyone else out there who is struggling to get published or even just noticed as a writer, I would suggest trying to only submit to things that speak to you, that you feel like you actually have something to say about. (Pro tip: searching for new competitions with strict guidelines and rules is actually a wonderful way to get over writer’s block, at least for me and keeps my ideas fresh!)

Just a quick little thought before I officially end this post: even looking back now, almost a year from when I got published, there are so many things I would change about “Waves”, so don’t be discouraged if you look at your writing are like “uuhhhh what the hell is this????” It’s a totally normal part of being a writer.

Hold on fast to living

New to this (again). I’ve been apprehensive to start a new outlet because my writing and creative skills are slowly diminishing (with age) and my life is pretty mediocre these days. Plus there’s this whole “starting anew/clean slate” feeling that’s terrifying because my obsessive-compulsive mind is too afraid to miss out the smallest detail so I’d rather not document anything esp on my journal since I fear committing mistakes the most and that prevents me from doing anything. Marc Johns once shared that he makes his own journals (as in he binds them himself) so he doesn’t feel regretful of whatever he had written and Emma Watson said someone told her that there’s nothing more intimidating than a blank canvas, which is true. Sometimes that’s what makes me give up writing and/or doing things altogether. On the other hand, not being able to chronicle my thoughts, inspirations, discoveries and misadventures makes me sadder. I don’t remember any of the silly things I laughed at during the Christmas season which was one of the best moments of my life; I’m starting to forget what happened when I threw my boyfriend (I call him Johnny online) his very first prom; I don’t have a list of songs that changed my life in 2016 so I don’t know where to send my thank you notes to. Now (well not exactly now but it has become a recurring thought) I realized that I’m writing for myself, so writing bad entries is ok and shouldn’t feel like homework. That it’s far more important that I remember certain periods, feelings or strange magic (as I, my sister and our homie, Tavi like to call it) rather than worrying whether I sound fancy or intellectual (something I won’t ever be anyway cos I’m always grammatically incorrect). That I should keep writing despite the normality of my life because that's the only way I'll get better at it, plus whoelse is going to log all the times I rewatch Roswell? That I should stop writing as if I’m writing for an audience and just be completely honest with myself because this is my space (not yours, Bethany). That it’s ok to allow myself to write bad, cringey poetry because I can see myself develop from it and at least I have something to look back on and laugh at in the future. I realized that if I didn’t write, or try to, I wouldn’t be able to encapsulate important adulting moments, silly conversations, filmy feelings, sartorial choices, bathroom epiphanies, etc. I realized that in order for me to let go of the perpetual fear/ anxiety of creating/ writing something, I should just describe things as I see them. Less is more and just being sincere and honest about the things I write about often leads to a product of inspiring and inspired writing.

There are so many things I regret not being able to write about because I was either too lazy or too “in the moment and now it’s too late to write about it cos time has passed”. So here’s a list of some 2016-2017 things I can write from memory, just to start this blog off:

- Sitting on the curb outside 7/11 with my sister Hanna after an outdoor movie (it was Matilda), listening to Crowded House’s Don’t Dream It’s Over on loudspeaker

- The electric feel of meeting Johnny for the first time after months of unbearable yearning, like the by way of the green line bus scene on the Royal Tenenbaums. How gawky it was. How unadulterated it was. Thinking about it today, from this gradual mediocrity, still makes me cry.

- Watching Gainsbourg: vie heroïque again after the last time (2011?) and regaining my fondness for Klimt, Baudelaire and Aznavour, knowing the difference between Rimbaud and Molière and how the scene with Yolanda Moreau, underrated French actress btw, made me emotional. I paused the film, listened to Fréhel for a while, and tears started rolling down like end credits. The world, c’est si bon

- Reading Toast on the bus ride home one night and The Hottest State in a local cafe, looking up from time to time in hopes that someone would find me as interesting as Sarah. But there’s always no one there.

- I remember getting on a bus cos I was leaving for school in a town 7 hours away from my home. My dad just got off after helping me get settled and I started crying. A few seconds later, he climbed back up cos I left my hat and he sees me a wreck so he sat beside me for a few minutes, sharing a sad-comfortable silence.

- Discussing ideas and the future with my cousin Lowil over mac n cheese. I told him I just want to make art for a living but I seem to have forgotten how. That when I try to make something, it’s always crap and since I feel like I have a good critical eye and can easily tell good from bad, I figured my feelings about my own work must be true. He then replied that it’s just overwhelming feelings of self-doubt and that I just have to keep practicing and eventually the persistence will pay off.

- Breakfast with my family in our garden, feeling like a scene from Vicky Christina Barcelona or Tortilla Soup or that life pondering conversation lunch scene from Before Midnight. Everything was fresh like a citrus fruit.

- My friendship with Aida leveled up when we started opening up to each other about our depression and finding peace in each other’s consolation

- Virtually watched the Gilmore Girls reboot with Aida and I remembered most of it was disappointment (what was up with that 20-minute musical scene that felt like 14 hours) and the next day, we watched the last episode, Fall, and Reflecting Light started playing and it’s as if Aida’s hand reached out of the screen, grabbing mine and things were better for a while. This is our life, and if everything else crumbles, at least we have this.

- Crying at a club whilst I was dancing with Rosie on her last night in the country because I don’t want this but I’ll miss her

- Dancing to Neil Young’s Harvest Moon with Carlo was bewitching. A lilting reminder that despite the persistent mediocrity, “I’m still in love with you, I wanna see you dance again.”

- My excitement on September and watching Practical Magic almost every day, to welcome October, made me feel immortal

- Going to Hongkong with my sister, Hanna, and all I can remember is catching our breath, sitting in an alley with our egg tarts in Central and laughing at our ludicrous travel decisions

- Sitting in history class and my instructor started to sound like the grownups in Charlie Brown, a lump in my throat and on the verge of crying because I know and I was certain that school isn’t for me and continues to be the bane of my existence

- A wave of depression so intense it made me sit on the floor of my balcony at 3am listening to Crash Into Me

- Throwing a bachelorette (party of four) for my sister, Inky. Her best friend posed as her stripper because we’re too much of a wimp to get a real one and I’ve never seen her laugh as much as she did before. We went out for drinks after and had an intense and honest conversation despite the godawful ambiance and waited for our friends to pick us up. All I remember about it now was the tumble and tangle of limbs but it was one of the best moments of my 2017 tbfh

- Growing closer to my sisters. I don’t know how, I don’t know when BUT HERE WE ARE

- Listening to the entire Dreamin' Wild album by Donnie & Joe Emerson on vinyl. Johnny bought it for me as a Christmas present and I know he saved up for it for a while and that makes my mouth quiver

- Welcoming 2017 with a studio 70s roller disco party and I can never write about this because it was everything

- The first week of January, Johnny so openly talked to me about how much he hates his work and that he doesn’t know what to do with his life anymore and we just sat on the bed sharing an understanding and I played Billy Joel’s James and we started bawling like babies. A week after that, he finally left his job

- When I watched this conversation between RuPaul and Oprah that literally changed my life. It’s like they sat down and recorded a self-help audiobook

- Right now, listening to Paul Simon sing American Tune, muting the people around me, eating the last of my cake. I realize we’re nearing towards the end of February and I’m still not beginning

I promise to try to update this more, whether if it's a bad movie review, the usual list or just a moodboard of inspiration. But I'd forgive myself if I didn't.

Kiri definitely takes advantage of it and the worst thing is that it’s not even a fight cause with Kirishima’s quirk he’s completely immune to tickling (and also attempts at other types of attacks in general - explosions - to make him stop) so once he manages to get a hold of Bakugou and start tickling him all Bakugo can do is yell and cry-laugh and hate him a lot hahaha

Yes and no, depending on at which point in their respective story we’re talking about haha Josh and Chris are in love with each other, and so are Max and Leo (well, their situation is a bit… uncommon, but if I were ever to write their story they’d be together in the end) - I once posted about Gabe and Hector, and by the end of their story they’re in a poly relationship with a girl named Erica I’ve never posted about. Luca has a love (?) interest of sort but he’s not been posted about yet hohoho maybe sometime in the near future. Still deciding about Isa and Ana’s relationship, but maybe. Who knows? That’s about it as far as the ones I’ve posted about go :D

She is!! She’s sort of a jock, a bit of a dummy and really loud, she’s easy to make laugh and got the type of laughter that makes you wanna laugh with her so when she’s around the mood is always a good one! She’s not exactly a social butterfly, but she’s got no problems with socializing, knows by instinct how to bend her behaviour to fit with all types of people and has the incredible ability to have every and all awkward situations fly right over her head, she just doesn’t notice them, and that makes it hard to be anything but relaxed when she’s around. She’s actually how she and Ana got in the group, since she’s gym buddies with Leo! She also really really likes ball sports :D

Ana’s an introvert all the way through, on the other hand - she’s really witty and sassy when she feels comfortable enough, and sarcasm is her preferred way of communicating, but if she doesn’t know you/ too many people she isn’t 100% comfortable with are around she comes off as timid and closed off, smiles politely and barely utters a word - people assume she’s the subdued and shy type at first so once she starts opening up it’s always sort of a shock haha she’s got a scientific mind and while she isn’t a “gifted kid” like Chris she likes to learn and study a lot, which is why she ended up having a real great relationship with Chris specifically out of everyone in the group (they like to nerd out together) (Josh isn’t particularly happy about it, the jelly idiot)

OH BOY I love Daishou so much, I’m glad you like him too! Aside from how much fun he is to draw (and color! he’s a green haired boy and that matters lots to me haha) he’s got so much personality and he’s such an interesting character! I honest to god disliked him with a passion during the nekohebi game, actually haha but that’s how it is with most of my hq faves, after all hahaha glad you liked the doodles, by the way!!!

A fight with some punks back when he was a teen that ended up escalating when knives became a thing that was being used :O he comes off as the dangerous sorta type which makes good people steer clear and bad ones come looking for trouble/ pick fights with him cause they assume he was picking a fight cause of his resting bitch face. Well, he’s an ass so let’s say that at least half the times he had been picking fights, and it’s not like he runs when someone tries to fight him anyway… that’s not the only scar he has, it’s just the most visible one haha

Kaminari in his room also has a dart board, a basketball and a dj console, and that’s only the stuff whe can see so actually, considering in his likes there’s “cool things” I think he’s the type of boy that tries to pursue any hobbie he might think would make him look cool, so either he has no clue how to use any of the cool things in his room above a vaguely amatorial level or he’s still pursuing all of those interests! Which would actually be super cool! Incidentally this is my preferred headcanon too so, yeah, as far as I’m concerned he knows how to skate. And play basketball. And darts. And also how to dj.
