YANDERE! ALPHA! MIKEY (kanto era)

mikey had developed a deep fear of leaving you alone. he isn't particularly expressive, but his thoughts are constantly assaulting him with horrible scenes of his loved ones dying and he'd rather die himself than let that happen to his omega.

you're very precious to mikey, indispensable and a necessity. he forces you to be by his sides at all time, ordering you to inform him whenever you want to go somewhere on your own -if he even lets you-.

gang meetings at night were a regular thing, mikey used to lock you up inside his room whenever he had to leave for one of them. but after you accidentally dropped a vase and hurt yourself to the point of bleeding, mikey was against that idea.

he brought you everywhere, demanding respect from his members for you. everybody knew who you were, despite never having once talked to you. you were like a precious doll people could only admire from afar, your guardian mikey being the only one allowed to consider you as more than an untouchable jewel.

you didn't know what mikey did that you sparked fear in the eyes of every man present. was it the scent of your alpha lingering on you, the way his eyes seemed to bore a hole into their head whenever they did as much as look at you? you didn't know, but they all kept their distance with you. the bravest only stealing weak glances your direction, while never actually approaching you. was it out of respect or out of fear for mikey? you weren't sure.

during the meeting, mikey kept you close to him. he towered over everyone at his usual spot, looking down at his members. you had a special spot next to him, on top of the stairs. you had to sit quietly, waiting for mikey to finish talking, all sweet and docile.

you mindlessly munched on the snacks mikey had bought you beforehand, to make the wait less boring. he knew you weren't that pleased to be here, but he was glad you didn't put much of a fight and just listened to him.

as you watched him, his back in front of you, you wondered how he could get so sweet sometimes. he, who was so fierce and menacing, feared by others gangs and even his own members. you liked the gentleness he showered you with whenever it was the two of you.

after those kind of meetings, mikey was always enthusiastic about showing you how much he cared and how he will never let anyone have you.

your exposure to the hungry eyes of other alphas always seems to spark a surge of possessiveness. how dare they look at you that way. mikey can only imagine the kind of thoughts they have upon seeing his precious omega. even with all his warnings, there still are reckless alphas who think they're worth more than you. who don't believe mikey would beat them up to a pulp just to ensure his omega's dignity and comfort are untouched.

mikey will send the others off at the end of that meeting. barking commands at them to leave the fastest they can, and they'll be left wondering who annoyed their leader. because despite mikey's temperament, he doesn't get mad pointlessly. he most usually acts on impulse whenever his omega is involved, so it isn't hard to guess what could have pissed him off if you pay attention to his reactions.

after everyone's gone, mikey is dragging you far into the temple, making you drop your snacks on the ground in the process. you can protest all you want but mikey doesn't care.

he pins you against of wall once he's sure you're both safe from any potential curious eye. he buries his head roughly into your neck, his nose nudging your scent gland, searching for the spot which lets out the sweetest scent. he's pestering your jawline with wet kisses, slowly travelling down your neck and softly bites your collarbone. you whine, gripping his blonde hair and abandoning yourself to him, completely at his mercy.

with dark eyes and wet lips, he finally looks at you, giving one last deep kiss to your panting mouth.

"I can't stand how they're looking at you, should just gouge their eyes out"

you laugh softly, knowing that despite his impulsive nature, he wouldn't act so cruelly, "don't, or you'll soon have no one else attending your meetings"

"might be better this way, nobody will ever bother us, and they won't watch so carelessly what's mine anymore", he continues his assault on your skin, drawing a few moans out of you. he makes sure to leave red marks, putting his claim on you as if it wasn't already clear that you were his.

he relishes the sighs of pleasure you let out. he feels proud and satisfied to be the one eliciting such vulnerable and intimate reactions out of you.

that's right, you were his omega only, and those alphas could look at you all they want, but in the end, mikey was the one able to touch you this way, to play out any fantasy he had while the others could only dream.

you were his to own and possess, mikey had put his claim on you and from that moment onward, you had nowhere else to return to if not his arms. mikey will always make sure you'll stay with him, safe and sheltered. he'll give all the affection he has to give, all the love he can provide. and you'll love him despite his fucked up self and suffocating embrace.

Today marks the two year anniversary of me endlessly stanning Eusine and Morty by complete accident of me googling “Ecruteak City”. Thank you sacredshipping for being the best thing to happen to my artistic career.

You clicked on this and now you will be subjected to my backstory and feelings with this ship. (If you asked why I like this ship elsewhere there’s barely anything new here sorry lol)

When this couple had its heyday on Bulbagarden forums ~12 years ago I absolutely did not care for them. I didn't get the appeal whatsoever, I thought they were both own'd losers who were just friends and nothing more. I did think they had some cool fanart but that was it. Silver in any iteration was my favorite Johto character at the time and I was all into Silver/Lyra or Ethan or PreciousMetalshipping, the last ship being my goto ship to make my whole personality at the time. Nothing about them really "clicked" to me until I started watching HGSS longplays for PleinAirpril references back in 2021. Somehow just the mere image of seeing them together in the Burned Tower and thinking about Eusine and Morty for more than 5 seconds was enough to make go "oh shit they're gay." And lo and behold I'm stuck here 2 years later stanning this damn ship. I mean that last sentence in the most cheeky way possible since it's obvious at this point that MinaMatsu/Sacredshipping makes me so happy and I want to draw them forever. I got to do so many fun new things with my art and meet so many kind people because of my crazy dedication to them...I owe a lot to them.

I guess what really makes MinaMatsu work for me is the fact they're essentially the same character. They both start out confident in achieving their goals, get their egos put in check by the player (Eusine just refuses to lose right away) and ultimately fail to obtain their goal. Obviously what makes them fun is their opposing personalities. Morty takes a more passive, introverted approach to meeting Ho-oh with his secret training believing he can become the person that is worthy of it. One day he'll become the strongest and coolest Ghost-type trainer to have ever live and Ho-oh will go "wow he's so cool" and swoop down from the heavens before him. Meanwhile Eusine decides he's already worthy of Suicune, will show the entirety of Johto and Kanto his fixation of it, and will chase it down and give it no choice but to chose him. No one else had his undying dedication to track down Suicune, did they? No need to train like Morty does, Eusine got all of the worthiness in the world. They have clashing personalities and yet they're still good friends which is so sweet. It's just so heartwarming to see men with similar goals and different perspectives on how to obtain that goal just get along and enjoy each other's company. Perfect harmonious duality. I'm not going to go too much into how I see others interpret them but when I see people headcanon them as rivals or them secretly not liking each other (groan) because of how they behave I'm just like...why. If you want a rival-to-lovers m/m relationship in pokemon, Reguri and Raihan x Leon is Right There. That's a whole new ship. Morty never says anything demeaning about Eusine’s endeavors or Eusine himself in his in-game calls to the player. (No, Morty saying he doesn't care for Suicune that much unlike Eusine doesn't count.) Morty literally leaves his place of work to be with Eusine in the Burned Tower. Clair has definitely yelled at him for that. That's not "he secretly hates Eusine" behavior y'all but I actually played the games so idk.

Ok ok back on topic now that I pissed off somebody out there. I just love how they're both mystical freaks. Morty having this supernatural connection to Ghost-type Pokemon and his strange abilities to foresee possible futures and communicating to ghosts just makes him an easy character for me to fall in love with. Weirdo probably hangs out more without dead people than living ones. Eusine being...Like That and his bottomless desire to research every aspect of Ecruteak City's past and be Suicune's friend is also fun to watch. Suicune please say Eusine is cool its what Granddaddy Eusine would want. Masters EX does confirm that Morty once lived in a sheltered world and didn't have many friends - must be hard when you're the freak of the week - so it's possible that Eusine is the person he's closest to. And why wouldn't he be? They both otherworldly guys that chased a lifelong dream and failed, but at the end of it all they still have each other. It's a nice touch that the HGSS credits have them walking together chasing (presumably) another Suicune...they'll probably never give up on anything as long as they have each other. Their dreams will never turn into nightmares when they're together.

Like a perfect couple they complete each other...if they melted and fused together they'll be the gayest most powerful mystical freak that both Ho-oh and Suicune would have to recognize as worthy. I don't know where that thought came from but I'm keeping it. They're puzzle pieces I guess is what I'm getting at. I could go into how cute they are in Pokespe, the gay anime episode, and how Masters EX basically confirmed Morty idolized Eusine more than anybody (I think I rather wait until Eusine get implemented before I dive into that), and how Fall Morty is the both the worst and best possible thing to ever happen to me since his design alone immortalized my MinaMatsu mania but I'm keeping this babble as short as possible and ending it here.

I just want a give a big thank you those who drew this ship for me whether it be gift art, art trades or commissions...I want to make a silly little booklet or some type of showcase page with all the art you lot have given me. I haven't set my mind on anything just yet. I cherish everything here so much.

I literally learned hobbies to make my friends gifts lol.

Also this takes place like 2010 where streaming was just becoming like something you could profit from.

Something the Kanto Manji gang didn't know about (name) was that he had a lot of money.

Like a lot.

And not from his family or anything.

No no.

(Name) made his money through streaming on YouTube, doing a concoction of things online for his own amusement and just happening to Garner a unfathomable following.

With a large following came money and gave (name) the resources to spoil his wonderful friends!

Though he wasn't apart of the Kanto manji gang, it didn't mean he wasn't hanging out with them most of the week and the men supported and encouraged him to follow his ambition's of streaming and just thought of it as a fun hobby.

They didn't know he actually made money off it until they wondered how (name) always had so much money and got worried he was possibly selling himself or stuff in that realm.

They were in awe when be explained it.

(Name) loved buying his friends gifts, from clothes to little trinkets and food and the men learned that it was pointless to try and stop their little darling as let's me honest who wouldn't want to have a cute boy buy them stuff?

Anyone looking from the outside could see the Kanto manji gang was hopelessly in love with (name) but the cowards would rather die than say anything.

"Mikey i got you some new sandals since your other ones are starting to look a little worn!" (Name) said sweetly as Mikey changed out his worn out sandals for the new pair (name) got him, a nice pair of Gucci slides.

"These are nice...thanks" Mikey said softly as he gently hugged the others waist from his sitting position, enjoying the feeling of (name) gently raking his fingers through his hair.

The Kanto manji men were regularly spoiled but don't get it twisted, this wasn't one sided.

Oh no.

These men were 1000x worse.

The men constantly wore (name)s gifts if possible, Sanzu even wore the cute scrunchy (name) got him and no fool would dare make fun of it lest they dare face the business end of a Katana.

(Name) was beaming as he saw the cute keychains he got them attached to their motorcycle keys, cute animals that reminded him of each member.

The men's closets were practically filled thanks to sweet (name) who even managed to get Mikey to wear more than those black shirts under his Kanto jacket!

They all loved (name) and loved how he showed his love because he accepted how they show theirs!

By giving him sweet gifts back and removing those who hurt him off the census.

I've been thinking a lot about kantoph lately (I'm probably always thinking about them lol) and I'd like to know how you think kanto would react if toph was kidnapped and seriously injured

I really think he would freak out, especially when he finally found her cuz he was starting to lose hope to ever see her again

:O :D Hi hi hello, Anon! So happy you stopped by to chat about Kantoph. They bring me so much joy and I love rambling about them :)

But yes lets chat about this scenario!

It's funny you mention this scenario, because my Kantoph partner-in-crime, @wangsfires, and I are hoping to write a collaborative work about this! Here are some of our thoughts for a fic we'd like to write:

Toph and Kanto are in a secret relationship, mostly because she's the chief and he's her deputy, and a relationship within the workplace can get a bit messy. So, they sneak around, stay at each other's places, and their feelings for each other do grow a lot. Kanto wants to make their relationship more public, but Toph is still scared to. It leads to a fight in the middle of the night, and she walks off to her place, but gets attacked on a wooden bridge on her way back.

She wakes up and doesn't know where she is, but she knows she's in a wooden cell, and the kidnappers eventually reveal themselves to be part of a triad/gang that she helped put away, and they're seeking revenge. There's a bit of torture during this part, many many ouchies—

Kanto, of course, would be beside himself. In this scenario, he's upset mostly because he can't show his true feelings in the office while he's trying to find her. Everyone thinks he's upset because the chief is missing, but he's upset because he loves Toph, and he didn't tell her. He didn't fight for her to stay at his place, and because of this, he feels responsible for her being kidnapped. If they're too late when they find her, he'd never forgive himself. He also hates that it took for Toph to be kidnapped for him to realize what he feels for her.

But eventually, he does find her. They find where the kidnappers are holding her, and he comes to the rescue. Kanto takes Toph in his arms and she doesn't hesitate to hug him back, and before she passes out from the pain, she tells him that she loves him—

Kanto doesn't leave her bedside for one second while she's recovering. He holds her hand, kisses her knuckles, talks to her while she rests. When she does wake, Kanto is so relieved, but still feels so guilty for not doing more. But Toph tells him that he saved her, that he's the reason she kept fighting even when she couldn't see in the wooden cell, when the beat her for revenge. She told herself that if she got out alive, that she'd tell Kanto how she felt about him. And now, they're together and they go through this recovery period together and Kanto isn't gonna leave her side— :')

Now, if Kanto and Toph were together and it was known, he'd go a little dark trying to find her. He'd stop at nothing to find her, to get her back in his arms. He knows that Toph's a fighter, and so he's gonna fight for her.

I agree that if she was held captive for a while, he'd lose a little bit of hope. But the clues start to come together, and eventually he finds her (I also think that she'd probably try to make her escape until she's eventually successful).

When they reunite, Toph collapses in his arms and he's just so relieved to see her again. They both cry, and he's by her side the entire time.

What I love about this scenario is the hurt/comfort that comes with it, but also the fact that Toph can lean on Kanto during this situation. She doesn't always have to be the strong one, and Kanto will be there for her—

Thanks to Wada-san and the teacher with their lots of knowledge, I think it was the most enjoyable for viewers……😳

The difference in expressions, the differences in eras, I didn't know there were so many!

Although its still shallow, my interest really really deepened in 1 day,

Actually a few days after the shoot,

Wada-san had recommended, so I went to visit the hidden Buddha Nyoirin Kannon at Gokokuji temple! On the day of the reveal of the thoroughly hidden Buddha!

It was really brilliant and beautiful😌✨️

Oh man, pokemon? I low-key love talking about what teams the RFA would have. I have made some of my own but I never really thought about their teams too much, I'll show you them if you want to see, though! They may not be so thought out but hey! It's fine, it's fun! lol

But I love how I have named my main team after the RFA-

Keep in mind that I have this team for years and I will never change it, so I didn't have much thought when naming them after the RFA, lol

My first ever pokemon and favorite one for YEARS is Charizard and it's not surprising that I have named it after Saeyoung. It's also my ace and my Mega Y which deals a LOT. I remember hearing that it's Mega Pokedex entry is that it gets its power from its bond with its trainer? If so, I low-key think that this suits Saeyoung since he feels like he has gained a superpower or something when MC loves him!

Next up is Salamence which I named Saeran! I thought the red on it and blue is like SE. And I think the Moxie ability kinda fits honestly! I like to think that my Salamence spends hours just flying up in the sky, haha.

Next is Dragonite which I named it after Yoosung. It might be cute but it can do a lot! I like to think that it fits Yoosung cuz it's cute like him and it has his hair color.

Next is Aerodactyl which I named after Zen. I low-key didn't have much choice on this one cuz I named Jaehee and Jumin after the other two so this spot goes to Zen! It's the fasted pokemon in my team and I like to think that Zen runs fast cuz he exercises all the time sksks, also the color is kiiiiinda fitting?

Next up is my Marowak (Kanto) who I named after Jaehee! Again, the colors fit her and it hits super hard with its held item. I like to think that it's her Judo training and she can hit hard and be serious.

Next up is Tyranitar which I named after Jumin. I didn't think this much but now that I think about it, i think it kinda fits? I think it's toughness reminds me kinda of Jumin and his security and how it can do a lot in battle and STILL be bulky. It's also serious too which is a bonus lmfao-

I think that's everything! Tell me what you think. I've been playing Pokemon for years now and it's fun to imagine what Mystic Messenger characters would have!^^

I think it's so cute that you've named your team after the RFA. That really makes it feel like you've got the family together again. I think it's sweet that you imagined the personalities and tried to make that cut it alongside color schemes. Seven as an ace-up-your-sleeve type who knows how to breathe fire? Yeah, I can vibe with that. Mega-Evolution is a power that lasts briefly but can only be done by having a strong bond with your Pokemon. Saeyoung can't reach his peak without the strong love by his side.

Yoosung and Saeran as dragons? They're very opposing dragons, too. You gave Yoosung speed to zoom around since we all imagine him to be like a puppy. Saeran got the snark and sullen nature since I know it is SE Saeran you're trying to imagine here. Zen is unrivaled in his way of making us remember that he's a rarity, and giving him a Pokemon that is only gained by finding a fossil to revive? Yeah, that's what I'd expect if we want to imagine someone created him for something he didn't want and he ran away to you.

Jaehee makes sense to me, honestly. I tend to give her fighting and normal types but this one is a little out of the box so it made me think harder about her and how she can defend herself. Jumin is the only surprise to me since I tend to think of him with psychic types and I've always seen him that way. But, you're right in saying he's strong and sturdy.

So, I've already answered the would-be teams for all of the RFA sans Jaehee and Zen, so I'd be happy to share those with you right here as needed!

Jaehee's team to me is a mesh that brings together her natural sense of fighting with food-themed Pokemon. She has a team with her who knows how to practice and train just like Jaehee does to keep up her training, and the natural foil to that with the other half of the team is focused on helping her find the freshest produce and coffee to run her shop. Her struggle would be learning that it's okay to bring those two loves together to work hard in the same place! Lopunny is likely her oldest partner and they've reached Mega-Evolution because of it.

Zen's team is a team that rivals his beauty. We all tend to think of Zen as a wolf since he never shuts up about it, so having a Furfrou and a Mightyena just seem to make sense. I imagine it was easy to catch them since I know he caught those dogs on the streets when he was in his gang. Absol is easy to relate to for him since he was thought of as a bad omen, too. They find peace and union in knowing that they can't be misunderstood by each other. The rest of his team seems to reflect his psychic abilities and his connection to them. Munna is a good match for his dreams. Rapidash and Gardevoir fit the bill of a man on stage who feels charming and dashing.

Danger Street #3 talk, under the cut in case anyone is reading this and doesn't want spoilers.

Alright. So the premise is to intertwine the stories from DC's 1st Issue Specials from the mid 70s, of which there were 13. The last in the series was the start of Conway's New Gods run, so of course I'm hype that maybe Metron and some of our other friends will be in it. We've already seen Highfather and Darkseid. Seems like a cool concept.

Now. The downside. It's a Tom King story.

I'm willing to give it a chance because combining such a weird mishmash of characters is going to be strange and probably out of character no matter who writes it, so like.. my personal bar for this is fairly low. Like, I'll allow it.

But the first thing. THE FIRST THING. Metron talks about when he appears is how something happened that left a crack in the Source wall and he just? FUCKING WENT RIGHT IN????????? I understand that King has a long history of taking characters and missing the mark on the core traits/themes/etc. But this time it's happening to MY fave, so now I'm annoyed. I yelled out loud "WHAT?!" Like, this is Metron's life goal of literally tens of thousands of years. One does not simply walk into Mordor the Source.

Side note.. my personal feelings on Fourth World stories is that they're big and vast and more the stuff of mythology. They are parables about fate and destiny. So for any of the major characters to complete their ultimate goals is an end to a story that has no end. I like the idea that they sit outside of time and are always waging their battles of good and evil and truth and love. But that's just me, and I know others would rather see more changes and development.

So that aside. I did like the colorful art, and I respect the artists for keeping in line with the classic looks of the characters. There are dots representing New Gods type things and Metron has his usual chair and costume. I also respect that King is pulling from stories pre-2011, which to be honest is like a breath of fresh air. Darkseid and Highfather call each other by their original names (which is weird, but shows knowledge of older comics), Metron talks about the previous generations of gods, there are a few throwaway references to other Fourth World characters. So yeah, it sticks to the non-Morrison canon and I like that. I mean, there's still stuff I'm not super duper crazy about here, but it's way better than I expected!

Side Side note.. The art for the Source Wall looks a lot like that from JLA/Avengers #3, like exact same angles and proportions. BUT I gather this type of thing is sort of fine in comics for big detailed backgrounds. Just thought it was interesting bc I was like "I swear I've seen this before."

Alright then we see Orion and a gorgeous lush background. He gives Kanto a booboo, but I think he'll be fine lol. The part I didn't really like is that he treats the Mother Box like a cell phone. I know Mother Boxes do allow communication like that, but it was just SO much like a phone that it took me out of the moment.

Aaaand besides that there's all kinds of other story going on, but I'm keeping this flow of conscious to just New Gods. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious to see where this was going. And I'm glad to see Metron as he ought to be, even if it's in a Tom King story. At least this time he's alive and he's not yelling his head off about looking into the face of God.

soft mama toph with her kids? The gentle moments she had with her babies are just so lovely I cannot. Maybe someone from the gaang witnessed her speaking softly to baby Lin/Suyin. Even pregnant I can see her having quiet convos with her baby bump, and how she's so sorry that the father didn't want her, so she's going to try her best to give her double the love. I am a firm believer that Toph is a great Mama, especially when the kids are babies, I'm a sucker for those cute moments too haha.

She loves keeping them close to her chest and feeling them breathe, she can always tell when something is up when they're close to her like that. I can see her just trying to keep herself awake as she rocks her babies asleep by quietly talking into their hair. Just saying silly things or talking about her day, maybe even giving random facts about things.

Toph also seems like the person to just talk to the baby even though she's talking to herself. Like, "Gotta add the vegetables after the meat in the pan, otherwise they'll overcook." Or "Gonna need more rice with this meal, this isn't enough." Or "Spirits, those noodles are spicy! But not spicy enough." Lin and/or Suyin just makes a noise in response, and it never ceases to make Toph smile. She tries to think of more nonsensical things to chat about with her girls just to hear them make silly noises.

Toph loves their laughs. When Lin laughed for the first time, it was so cute she nearly cried (She did cry). And she can't really catch facial expressions as they happen, but the laugh... the laugh she caught in a nanosecond, and she remembers her girls' first laughs vividly. After that, she tries to say and do silly things (often in the privacy of her own home, she's not about to make a fool out of herself in front of anyone except her girls) to get them to laugh.

Calming down her babies can be a challenge, but she finds that kissing their temple, whispering soothing on the top of their heads, and swaying really helps calm them down.

A lot of people (including myself) HC that Toph is a great singer, so I can see her singing to her babies when they're upset or scared! I can also see her humming and singing to them while she's pregnant. That's when you can tell she's very happy and lost in thought, when she hums to the baby.

Toph is definitely a quiet but extremely loving Mama to her girls. She tries not to be too outlandish, but she knows what calms her babies and what makes them happy and what makes them laugh, and sometimes her friends catch her in an intimate moment with them and their hearts are so full. Sometimes they can't believe how fast time has moved and how they're all parents now... crazy!

As for giving her kids double the love, that's a guarantee! In any AU I think of for Toph, I see her as a nervous mother to start, but as time goes on and she finds her confidence and footing, she will do anything for her baby girls. There is no limit to her love for them.
