I guess I'm in a sappy mood so I'll talk about why Homestuck means so much to me. For a year I've kinda wanted to make a video about it, and maybe I will, but for now I just wanna talk abt it. I'm not tagging this as hs but serious trigger tag ahead please tell me if you want to tag this as anything

Okay so I got into Homestuck around 2011, I was being pretty heavily abused by my grandma and mom and also neglected by them which is a very weird ass combo, but a story about someone playing a game and having such close friends appealed to me (I also thought Homestuck was an anime before finding the comic and would look up like "Homestuck episode 1" and get mad when I couldnt find it lmao). Now keep in mind I was a child so like media literacy wasn't my strong suit but I still retained and understood a good ammount of stuff mainly about characters. Anyways as a child naturally does I started talking about it with all of my friends and tried to get them into it, and one friend got REALLY into it. The best I can describe it is like that episode of the Cuphead show where Mugman likes piano and Cuphead gets into it and immediately overshadows him. But I was still happy to have someone to talk about it with. My favorite characters at the time were Meulin, Nepeta, and Damara and I would happily talk about them, but the person would shit on me for liking Meulin claiming she was a bad person and constantly pointing out all her flaws, it annoyed me because they're favourite characters had TONS of flaws they didn't acknowledge but for some reason me loving Meulin was the worst thing ever. I also loved the Midnight Crew and later to my chagrin they did too. I kept reading as updates came out and soon Homestuck became their entire thing, I remember going over their house because at a certain point they were my only friend and they talked to me about Homestuck like I didn't introduce them to it. But yknow, okay, whatever. We would ship our ocs with Canon characters and pretend to be characters and stuff, pretty standard until one day they came over my house and insisted on being Dualscar. They wrote a fic about him doing it with one of my ocs and I was just kinda happy for the attention. Anyways we were rping in real life and I don't remember when, or how, but they had me pinned to the couch and were insistent I let them touch me because we were role-playing and they were Dualscar. Now I've always lowkey been ace, especially in my younger years, so I was pretty uncomfortable, and even if I wasnt asexual someone having you pinned down insisting on touching you when you're not consenting isnt a fun time. Anyways they did stuff like this a few times more in various places and would get mad when I said no to their advances. But for some reason I kept hanging out with them. They were gross and rude and pushy but the only friend I had. I remember them basically assigning me Diamonds Droog kin which I didn't care because I liked Droog(still do) and would pretend to be Slick and suprise suprise would try and molest me. I began to get bitter towards Homestuck, something I once loved was being used against me in one of the worst ways possible. It was a weird time because I would just begrudgingly read the updates I once loved. Anyways when I was 15 they molested me again and it was the worst one, like I wouldn't let my family members hug me for years type of bad. I remember the exact video I was watching when it happened, Game grumps playing Silent Hills PT. I couldn't watch that video for years after. I also remember them showing me really fucked up porn between characters and when I asked like "Hey isn't that weird?" They did the ol' "Ugh it's just fictional!!" Sheit. Anyways at a certain point Homestuck was just ruined for me. I finished it just to say I did and when people asked me if I liked it I would lie and say I didn't. Thankfully I broke it off with them after nine fucking years of knowing eachother. For years I continued to say I dislike homestuck until I got like 22...I stumbled upon Hiveswap and it was funny all of the troll and Alternia facts I could remember, I was hesitant at first and was still like "Ugh but I don't REALLY like it!!" And then I saw....Them....

It was a weird feeling accepting that "Yep I like Homestuck I've been lying to myself for years" and I bought friendsim. I was hooked emmediately. It was like a flood of love I had for homestuck when I started in 2011 all came rushing back, the person who hurt me didn't matter, all that mattered is that I was enjoying it again. Tbh like alot of stuff from my first read was sort of still in my mind, so I stuck to watching recap videos and reading segments I couldnt remember and holy shit there was so much I missed as a child. And then I got Hiveswap and BAM I'm hooked even more, and then

AND THEN...

I rewatched and re-read the first intermission...

And it was set in stone that I'm a Homestuck at heart. It was like walking into a bar I hadn't been to in years and all of my old friends were there to welcome me, I was enjoying something again that used to bring me so much comfort before it was ruined for me, but it didn't have to be anymore. I think I sobbed when I realized that. It feels nice to enjoy something that for years was soured for me.

Uh yeah that's why homestucka and hiveswap means so much to me. Opening this blog has been an amazing way for me to get into the fandom which I never have before. I'll probably be an old man talking about leprechauns and trolls but I'll be happy.

Not necessary reading, but it's here and might inspire some interactions idk.

SYDNEY: Sydney and the twins were Sunday School Buddies growing up - and Sydney was, I think, the first person the twins felt comfortable actually talking to after being left in doltown. They're still friends now, but they've never been able to hang out as much as they'd like. I think Sydney is as concerned with Esmee's recent changes in demeanor as Edin is.

BAILEY: Oh, Bailey, Bailey, Bailey... Bailey's kinda all they have at this point lol. Thing-like-family wise anyway. Edin constantly clamors to keep Bailey in a good mood so they won't be hurt while they're spending most of their time at the orphanage. I think Bailey wants to fucking punt them. Esmee hates Bailey, but wants their Attention and proof that she Exists to them, in some way.

LEIGHTON: OH BOY. They both haaaaaate Leighton. Leighton was Esmee's first kiss and kind of kickstarted her downward spiral a bit. As petty revenge for how uncomfortable Leighton makes her, she has taken to acting like the two of them are a MARRIED COUPLE. And is extremely annoying with it. Edin naturally despises Leighton for all this, paired with the Sydney stuff, but is also too terrified of them to act out or say much. Sometimes, Edin goes to detention in Esmee's place on the sneaky. This doesn't go well for them. Also in game, the same instance where Leighton took her first kiss, Esmee somehow managed to make Leighton cum in their pants by doing? Nothing? I wasn't even trying to get the achievement it just happened. My theory is either magic cum spell, or Leighton enjoys the sound of her sobs so much they just climaxed on the spot.

WHITNEY: Whitney probably bullies Edin relentlessly, though not necessarily sexually. They're just a sad nerd that's fun to push around. This makes the whole wanting to bang their twin sister thing awkward. As for Whitney and Esmee, they get into fights a LOT. I think even when they're dating, it's a pretty deranged dynamic. (Not affectionless tho <3 I did make that comic where Whitney takes psychic damage over Esmee's Demented Torture Porn Only Fans lmao) They both suck so so much. ... OH YEAH thing that happened/happens in game that's fun to reference: Esmee lost her oral virginity ingame to transguy Whitney's Strap but already had S mouth skill somehow, so her very first time sucking dick, she made him cum so hard he CRIED. In front of Leighton. the game didn't acknowledge it but it described him as Sobbing. She also somehow manages to make them cum in their pants Constantly in game it's so so funny. Use this info how you will. ((Based on this, the Leighton thing + at LEAST one other insane incident, my friends and I have started joking abt her having a fucking Cum Spell))

AVERY: Avery initially went for Esmee (dances, flirts, lets him hit it) but then Esmee proceeded to be her irritating, scene causing, threat to humanity self, so they went for her clone instead. Edin probably isn't a favourite of Avery's since they stutter a lot and are terrified of sex, but they ARE cute, easily manipulated and have their funny little music thing. Now Esmee pops Avery's tires and films them and is generally making a special effort to ruin their life.

BRIAR: Edin doesn't know who Briar is or what Esmee's main job is. All they know is that she constantly comes back in the wee hours, exhausted and looking like a MESS. They hate this. Esmee works for Briar most nights when she's not off treasure-hunting. One of the few people she actually takes semi-seriously, I think. She's a good dancer, soaks up horrendous damage like nobody's business and loves attention, but thus far has been stubborn about keeping her technical virginity.

MORGAN: Um. Esmee uh. So after being abandoned by her parents, the whole 'being relentlessly pursued by a violent and possessive maniac that claims her to be their daughter and refuses to let her go' thing she encountered while in the sewers kind of. Scratched a certain itch in Esmee. Yeah.

KYLAR: LOL Esmee and Kylar are uh. Allies I guess. I wouldn't say friends necessarily, but allies. Esmee helps Kylar with the creepshots and the intel gathering and general wingmannery in exchange for various demented favours. Edin used to feel bad for Kylar and wanted to talk to them, but these days they have a petty grudge against them. Same obsessive crush :/)

Von Kaiser Headcanon Post

Been wanting to share all my Kaiser headcanons and also just kinda wanted a place to put them so I could look at them when needed. However, here is somewhat of a masterpost for all my Kaiser headcanons, and the backstory I wrote for him.

I should explain that my canon for the Punch-Out!! lore is the timeline being in somewhat modern day but with the early 2000s/late 90s aesthetic.

Putting a TW bc there are some heavy topics, as well as I'll be putting everything under a cut because there's a lot, enjoy!

TW: mentions of abuse, war, alcohol, and violence

So, firstly, I'd like to put down that I do have a Punch-Out!! oc who is one of Kaiser's closest friends, however, I will most likely not talk abt him in this post, as this is just pertaining to Kaiser only.

Anyways, lets start with his backstory that I have written up!

-Kaiser was an only child born from a somewhat uneasy marriage. Kaiser was raised fairly strictly by both his father and mother and never really got along too well with others, he has always been a bit rowdy and overly confident which was most likely his way of dealing with the beatings and verbal harassment he received from, primarily, his father. He was taught this was to build character and make him stronger and become a good man in the future. However, this has pretty obviously done the opposite. Von Kaiser was fairly young when his father entered the war and soon after he was forced to do all the jobs his father had done at home. The war lasted about 5 years and by the end of it, his mother and him had received the news that Kaiser's father had died. His mother became incredibly strict and even more aggressive and careless than his father had been. He was trained to become a passionate soldier of a person. To value serving others, to respect authority and be willing to take punishment and pain for the good of the country, for the good of his family. Kaiser was about 17 when he had gotten a job and realized how little his social skills had improved. He had an incredibly hard time completing tasks and talking to others and oftentimes came off as rude, loud, brass and aggressive. No matter how hard he tried he never managed to make many friends. As he began his early 20s Germany had gotten into another war and he was expected to serve. He was proud to be of use to his country and was hungry to be on the battlefield. But as we all know, war isn't playful and is hardly ever fair. Kaiser was returned home, one of the lucky ones, but he was not the same man as before. He struggled more than ever to keep conversations, make connections and complete basic social tasks. His eyes had gone foggy, his body beyond tired and his mind more than clouded. Even so he powered on. He was incredibly grateful to be alive, he shouldn't have been acting so immature and childish, what is this worry that fogged his mind? It’s simply cowardice, it was pathetic for a man like him to be behaving in such a way. Disgusting even. All these horribly damaging ideas rang in his head, he had been told them from strangers, from acquaintances and especially from his mother. A man cannot cope like this, so he turned to alcohol to numb his thoughts. Although it had never grown into addiction, he still drank heavily during this time. 10 years of this pain, of this mental anguish poisoning not only his emotions toward himself but toward his mother. Even so, he could never stand up to that woman. She had the power to make him collapse and beg for forgiveness, cry for hours and endure the beatings she’d give him. This furthered his ptsd, he hadn’t ever been diagnosed until much later but it was clear he was suffering. As years went on, he managed to find work and was fairly well off. A former soldier had pointed him toward the military academy and suggested he work as a boxing instructor for the children at the base. He agreed, eager to help children become as disciplined and well taught as him! He was an encouraging teacher, though fairly strict. He found joy in his work for once, and was happy to do this for years. Soon after, his own skills were noticed by many and he was frequently told to try out for the WVBA. Kaiser was excited and cocky, ready to show off his skills and ride to the top. However, despite his training he only managed to secure a spot as #2 in the Minor Circuit. This initially bothered him, but he soon realized it gave him the ability to continue teaching the boxing course at the academy. He moved to Berlin shortly before joining the WVBA and has grown distant from his mother. -

There it is! I have more headcanons going into this, but I wanna explain a few points in his backstory.

-Kaiser's real name is Hans Braun.

-His mother and father had married fairly early in their lives, early 20s, and had Kaiser a year after that. Although Kaiser is in his 40s, his mother is only in her 60s.

-Kaiser was diagnosed with PTSD far into his life, I'd say when he was in his mid/late 30s. He has learned many healthy coping mechanisms, but sometimes he struggles, of course.

-Really doesn't mind being in the rank he is now. he's happy for doing all he can and is excited that this gives him more time to teach his students. He loves finding purpose in teaching these children about self defense than his professional career.

-Due to his personality and such, it was a bit hard for him to make friends in the WVBA, though Soda and Disco Kid/the rest of the Minor Circuit have always been very kind to him, moreso Soda.

Now onto other headcanons that don't have a place in his backstory.

-Kaiser is autistic. He was diagnosed after his PTSD diagnosis and he struggled at first with learning and coming to terms with it, but now he's relatively okay with it. Still learning.

-Some art illustrating his stimming traits and such, most are based off in-game animations from his Wii appearence. His special interests are wwii russian and german tanks, as well as, combat boots. (reminder to not infantalize him by calling his stimming 'cute' hes a grown man after all)

-Kaiser is Aro/Ace. Uses he/him pronouns. He has never really shown any interest in romantic or sexual relationships with anyone, and prefers to keep it that way. He likes training a fair bit more.

-Genuinely cares for all of his boxing students and will happily pay out of pocket for any supplies or tools needed for classes. He understands students could be dealign with anything and is understanding to all's trials. Is very accomodating.

-He can cook. Barely. Same goes for singing. His cooking ability was stoked by his students, so now he makes them fresh soups in the winter and refreshing salads in the summer. Though he can sing fairly okay in some instances, he doesn't ever really enjoy it.

-Reads a quite a lot, loves literature especially historical nonfiction. Enjoys information based texts rather than personal accounts.

-Isn't good at using the internet, but has a good grasp on using his dinky little phone, isn't too active on social media or anything.

Ppl used 'they/them' pronouns to refer to Camilo in interviews 💕 also... the fact that so many nb ppl adopted him... I mean, it shows guys. Birds of feather, innit.

Some things that helped me come to this conclusion:

Camilo is very extroverted. He does have moments were, if you look carefully, he kinda shrinks in on himself and resumes the 'dinosaur posetm', also known as Bruno's constant state- but despite this, he thrives on attention, I mean look at this pose:

You can practically hear him saying 'look at meee'. Next, I believe they'd make decisions based on the reality of the situation and speak very literally about things, example:

"Err, not if we don't have a house."

He does not entertain the option of that changing right away. He's focused in the now and is trying to get that dealt with first.

He's very confident but he also hides behind other people's faces, literally. I do imagine him to be quite popular in his own right but still, he's very closed off with his emotions and only thinks about catering others, that's literally his gift. So he neglects himself emotionally and pretends he's okay behind his happy demeanour. He's a devil and is the epitome of a little shit. But it's tough love sometimes, they do truly care💞

Also, I think they'd definitely get paranoid about their appearance and question if this is them or just another shape shifted creation. I think he'd have moments of losing himself and shifting as other people to cope with stuff. He isn't really in touch with who he is because of this. He's got trauma, poor thing🥺🥺🥺

💖- Happy hc: He played with dolls as a kid, due to getting them as hand-me-downs. When abuela gifted him a stereotypical 'boy's toy' he used it to play with said dolls. Like: if it was a football, he'd turn it into 'circle world' and the dolls would play on it lol. Before he forgot him, he used to fall asleep to Bruno rocking him in his arms🥺🥺

😋- Funny/stupid hc: When he hiccups, it sometimes can trigger his shapeshifting. Sometimes, he'll transform into someone and try and keep the clothes that come along with them. It never works.

🪞- Appearance hc: I'm not sure what to put here lol, let's just say: I think he'd eventually ask to get his ears pierced. He was always jealous of how the girls got them done when they were little.

🥖- Food hc: THIS SHIT EATS LIKE IT'S HIS LAST DAY ON EARTH, ALL DAY, EVERYDAY. he's got one of those 'food critic' palletes, there's basically nothing he hates, he loves all flavours AND LIVES for the experience of all of them. He eats everyone's left overs, without leaving a crumb; first thing he does when he and Mira come back from school is complain about being hungry, Mira then says: you literally ate on the walk home bro-

I agree with the headcanon that shapeshifting into all these ppl, wears him out and that's why he's so hungry, however, I also think it's more than that: he just has a naturally fast metabolism and looooves food🥰, cos I like to think he still acts like this when the magic is gone. The family call him a human trashcan lol.

🛌- Sleep hc: he sleeps like he's been hit by a car, snores like an engine and drools all over his pillow.

🏡- Domestic hc: he has the best relationship with Pepa 💕💕😭 he's a momma's boy 💕, Julieta gets annoyed of his eating habits but she's grown to make extra of everything, just for him💞 I think she'd also let him eat the parts of a meal no one else really wants, before she serves the whole thing, for example: like the legs on a chicken, my mam used to do this for my sister lol x

He likes having a jokey, bickering relationship with Félix. They don't actually fight or anything but he'll make play insults like: "old man" and "grey hairs" just to have that playful back and forth banter. They'll both be laughing, knowing there's no malice behind the words🥰

🗡- Badass hc- He'll shapeshift into a bully's mam to get them to back off. Also he just hates on bullies in general, often crossing a line and being a bit of one himself, when trying to defend ppl.

Sooo basically this specific OC I've actually had for 3 years, since 2020, (which isn't that impressive I'm pretty sure but hey cut me some slack I can't really draw a good amount of OCs for more than 2-3 times) and she's changed A LOT since then !! Whicchhh I sadly can't show now bc Tumblr kindof. fart (aka I can't go to my photos to grab them) so...sadge...sighhh. anyway

Her name is also pretty interesting to talk abt I think, because I actually made the name thinking it was ORIGINAL !! ORIGINAL WORD AND/OR NAME !! which apparently it isn't because it's the name for shea butter, without the butter, and it isn't even pronounced like it is in shea butter it's pronounced like 'she'.

Also idk how else to do transitions so I'm just gonna do a lightning round of some sorts sooo. good luck I guess !!

• She canonically has a VERY SAD AND TRAGIC BACKSTORY™ for why she doesn't have a tail, and if you brought it up she'd disregard the question and act like it didn't happen.

• She used to have a different type of universe attached to her, moreso a multiverse sorta thing with media I knew abt/was into at the time of creation.

• Related to the info above, I used to ship her with a specific fictional character that I'm pretty sure almost everyone knows about. I will not go into further detail about this, your on your own.

• When I found out abt the term 'furry' I used to basically call her a 'fursona' until I realized I don't have to call every anthropomorphic character a fursona.

• She used to be bald and hetero.

fy oc ramblings

ok so i talked abt this earlier though i will say i don't have a lot established abt them. basically it's kinda me and my friend wanted to make our own priestess and celestial warrior group lol. so obviously super non canon and not following the original naming scheme of the 28 stars type deal. now with that aside i'd love to show off my half of the group !!

this is altan!! (she/her), she's 17 and from sairou, though her mother is from hokkan. she ran away from home around a year ago to avoid an arranged marriage her parents were insistent on and currently works as a tutor to those who will pay for it :)) she grew up on stories about previous celestial warriors and was definitely that kid who like knew every single celestial warrior power and if this was modern times would've had their metaphorical action figures lol. she can turn invisible!

this is aylin (she/they) and ayhan (he/they) !! they're 20!! they're twins and their power is that they can switch places with each other at any time. aylin is by far the more bold of the pair and tends to be the one to speak up more, while ayhan is a lot more chill and go with the flow. definitly less high strung than his sister. they're both from sairou. their father is a priest and they grew up helping out at his temple.

this is ankita (she/her), and she has luck based powers. she's 25!! basically she pulls luck from other people, so while her luck increases, ppl around her are subject to more misfortune. i think at a base level it's very minor stuff like she finds a coin on the ground and someone the next street over stubs their toe, but if she consciously puts effort into using it it can definitely wreak some havoc on others if she's not careful. she's also from sairou and grew up in a pleasure house. her mother worked there and ankita grew up doing odd jobs at first to make up for the time her mother had to take off from working while pregnant with her, though when she came of age she ended up working there are a courtesan as well. her specialty talent wise is singing. she's definitely a bit of a teaser both in a flirty sense but also in the sense that she likes to poke fun at her friends.

last but not least we have airi (she/her) who is our priestess!! she's 23 and from 1980's japan. okay i took some creative liberty/definite time period inaccuracy with the piercings but i don't think she had all of them in all the time back home. she grew up with very strict traditional parents and has spent most of her late teens and early 20s rebelling against them in whatever way she can think of, and the large amount of piercings is part of that. i think she had a very carefree party girl lifestyle. overall she's pretty chipper and actually quite enthused to end up in a fantasy world, though she often forgets that she isn't invincible and gets herself into trouble. back home she had a part time job at a convenience store. they do all have kanji markings i've decided on as well of cours but i'm not sure i wanna share those just yet because 1. i haven't decided where their markings are just yet. 2. i wanna be doubly sure on accuracy to meaning as someone who doesn't speak japanese before i post them publically lol.

Believe it or not I'm very very hesitant and anxious when talking about the ships I have for my au. Both oc x canon and canon x canon, for a multitude of reasons, but! I think it would be beneficial to everyone if y'all knew what are the ships I plan to have here. I'm not going over every single one, just the ones that comes to mind. No oc x oc here only because those are the ones I'm most comfortable talking about, since it's all my canon and my characters. Putting it below cause it's gonna get kinda long.

Cheren x Lear. The fanart got to me lol. I think they're cute.

Bianca x Roxie. My personal rare pair.

Hau x Gladion. It's not immediate,in fact it pretty much takes them years to even recognize they have romantic feelings for each other( like near adulthood years). Though even before that, I think the platonic love between them is just so sweet.

Kukui x Burnett x Guzma. I think Guzma deserves all the love,okay.

Kenji x Silver. The first oc x canon on this list!

I used to plan on shipping Kiran and Barry together, but recently I'm thinking aroace Barry is the Barry I want for my au. Not sure if he's romance averse, or if he's okay with being in a relationship that focuses on it. So, again, they're in a weird limbo, but honestly I might just have them be friends. I'm only adding it to the list cause I needed to get it off my chest hgvhvgvgvcg.

Cynthia x Diantha! Battle moms! Actually, no, I think battle wine aunts are probably a better term for them.

Maybe Cyrus x Saturn? Like honestly there's so much baggage here, and I don't want to make every single reconciliation of ones past turn into a romantic subplot. I do think Saturn has/had the hots for Cyrus tho.

Truthfully, I actually enjoy the ship, but realistically I can only see it happening way after swsh, when they're both matured and chilled out and are actually friends. So I guess they are ambiguous in my au? Idk. Still gonna focus on their friendship in my writing tho.

Sakura x Adaman and Zero x Volo! Sakura and Adaman actually had kids :3

I don't actually have a canon ship for SV right now. Trust me, I see the potential with some characters ( Ramona and Arven, Ramona and Nemona, Arven and Giacomo, etc), but because of that, and the fact I'm indecisive as hell, there isn't a canon ship for Legendverse! SV. I will still talk about them cause I have brainrot, but nothing is really canon just yet.

All that jazz. sb who is long, long gone once stole my entire character when i was on my old blog JHBENGJHN right down to his character design and aspects of who he was and i know this bc it was an oc i had that was like drastically different than the canon character he was born from, so my portrayal was like... really really specific. i never confronted them or anything bc i didn’t rlly care enough to, but i still remember it being funny kinda cuz they took my black muse and made him a psd that turned him orange. ✂ A fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting? i don’t have much to say on this one, but probably the p*rsona fandom. i’ve met a lot of really really nice and chill people who rp in that fandom and i think i’ve heard it’s gotten better? but man the p*rsona fandom and the d*ng*nr*npa fandom back in the day were hand in hand with each other. it was always something.

❣ How salty are you feeling right now? honestly not that salty. i know i have some wild stories, but i need to stress that i’ve moved on from p much everything i talk about KJNERHKJNM. for most of this it has ACTUALLY been years. this is stuff that happened when i was much younger and put much more stock in my emotions on tumblr. i’m fine now. it’s all a little funny to me, aside from, like, the horrific stuff which isn’t funny but sure is a story to tell.

♥ What's the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise? - oh god another one i- JKNMHKJNM how quickly can i summarize That One debacle. there was sb on tumblr i was friends with for a while in a small rpc who sent me homophobic news articles one night when i was sui*cidal due to some unfortunate politics tm happening at the time and so as u remember the entire small little community ended up cutting her off after that cuz wtf. found out she’d been pretending to be her own friend on another blog where she sent us harassing msgs about whatever after she got blocked. vagued us in her rules when she moved to other blogs but still passive aggressively followed & unfollowed us, sent us msgs, etc. yada yada w/e we all moved on but then a year or two later??? she popped up in another fandom and got anon hate abt whitewashing her black muse. blamed me for it & said my friends and i sent it (we did not, the person who sent it ended up taking responsibility) but not before starting a HUGE, HUGE public fight on our dashboards where she was literally @’ing us in posts and vice versa. unblocked her so she could come to my ims instead, immediately started crytyping and gaslighting me. closed my ims bc i decided actually i’d rather fight on the dash KJBNERKGJNM 😭😭 ended up having to write a callout that exposed all the times she’d been racist, homophobic, transphobic, + harassing/gaslighting us in ims and posts even after we’d all quietly blocked her and tried to move on. to this day i still think abt all the shit we had saved up over the year(s) proving everything and she still went off about us being the ones who were trying to defame her and harass her or whatever. that day made me feel like i was out of my mind. if you knew me back then on that blog and saw all of that i am so sorry, i put up with so much before it reached that point aaaaaaaaaa. i wish i’d handled it better but honestly i was still a teenager when it started n a young adult when it blew up and this grown ass (almost 30 yo??? iirc??) racist homophobe was coming for my throat i just didn’t know what to do kjnmhkhn feel bad for ppl who witnessed it. feel even worse for myself cuz i could’ve handled it in a way that hurt me less. the Trauma that experience gave me good lord.

And yeah, I agree with you about how they treat Starfire. I also really hate it when they put her down just to make Barbara look like a better match for Dick and act like that Dick was never in love with Starfire in the first place, as if he never had feelings for her at all, like if their romantic relationship meant nothing to him at all in the comics. Like do you really expect me to believe that DC? After seeing how in love they both are with each other in 'The new Teen titans' books? And other comics where they're dating?

I also really don't like it when they make Babs treat Starfire like trash just because she's dating/used to date Dick, like I just hate seeing her treat her like that just because she's jealous or whatever. Starfire isn't even mean to her when they interact, it's just Babs who has a problem with her. Like she just becomes a really immature and mean person to Starfire and I hate it. (My girl don't deserve to be treated like that!)

Also, sorry this ask took a bit, I was just taking the time to think about whether if I should share stuff about my DC/Marvel oc's and stuff😅, so sorry about that

I usually like to create civilian oc's that just live in the DC world and villians too. I don't really like creating hero oc's for DC or Marvel though, cause it just feels a bit off and unnatural for me to do, I just like to have the canon heroes interact with my villain and civilian oc's instead since that feels more fun and better for me lol

Like those oc's are just more fun for me to create in the DC universe

So this is a pjo oc I have and I wanna talk abt him coz I've spent way too long on him/hj

I haven't drawn in like a long time +this isn't my usual art style so bare w/ me here

So, this is Theophanes(Theo) King, son of Eros. He is age 17(after blood of olympus, I've been getting around to fully reading TOA so in his timeline, TOA just didn't happen.) And here's a bunch of stuff abt him! =]

Abilities

- Great at archery

- fluent in most "romance" languages

- can charmspeak

- can fly (I mean, obviously)

Weaknesses

- gets dr*g hypersensitivity syndrome very often. (His body rejects medicinals of most kinds, as it usually takes it for harmful substances.) This makes him a certified pain in the ass to try to heal

- Injuries to his wings have a high chance of fatality

- very weak bones. Not due to any specific medical condition, he just has fragile bones.

- afraid of big bodies of water

- quick tempered

Fatal flaw is hubris

Kinda an arrogant and vain prick to the general public, but isn't that bad when talked to individually

Personal weapon

His personal weapon is a bow called 'piercer', nothing too notable about it, other than his father gave it to him after he lost his sword in a quest. Didn't really matter much, the sword had no significance, and Theo kinda struggled whilst using it. Eros mainly gave him the bow because it was what the quest was for, he didn't have a need for it after he knew it was safe, and it was a solo quest so there was no one but Theo to give it to.

Relationships with other characters

Eros; I wrote Eros to be sorta a meh father figure, not the worst, because he doesn't actively hate Theo, and visits on birthdays of him and his siblings(most of them share the birthday of February 14th, just different years) and to give quests to him and his siblings, but not the best because realistically there are few actually good godly parents.

I don't really have more than that down for relationships with pjo canon characters, but I sure as hell have oc's that follow his timeline that I'll vaguely talk about until they get their own posts

Finn Moore, son of Dolos(god of deceit); Theo's love interest, who's he's very much in denial about until he just gives in and asks him out and shit, it'll be wholesome when I get around to writing more about their intimate relationship. But anyways, Finn sorta causes all the stuff to happen in their timeline by killing someone, but that's for another time. Long story short, Theo's murderer boyfriend.

Mikaela Thatcher, daughter of Eros; same age as Theo, and also has wings. They compete very heavily for their father favor, although he doesn't have a favourite out of the two. Yet everyday is still "I bet I can fly faster" "I bet I'm more accurate with a bow" "I bet you can't only speak in French for a whole day" and so much more.

Casper and Morgan Gatlin, twin son(casper) and daughter(morgan) of Eros; Theo isn't really close with either of them, but he's still their brother so he knows enough about them. They're a year older than Theo and Mikaela, and they're the calmer two of the cabin (Casper gets involved with drama and stuff, but not enough that it's an issue.

I think I'm gonna end off this post here, (coz idk if ppl will actually find this interesting :']) but this probably won't be the last time I talk about this.

OKAY OKAY srry for taking so long to respond tumblr ate the ask WAAAA

there isn't much backstory to this au it mostly just plays out like canon except for the fact that spark n princess used to b rlly good friends before princess was cursed by smthn/someone (prolly crescent ml bc abyss sf cursed spark BUT me n a friend might make new costumes for ml n sf for this au) and then princess got a cool new evil design BUT it didn't take effect yet bc it needs to b DRAMATIC

so before she escapes the ship she sees spark struggling and abt to fall off the ship and into the sea which WOULD KILL HIM‼️‼️ IT DID KILL HIM BUT I'LL ELABORATE MORE ON THAT LATER. ANYWAYS SO she sees him abt to fall and spark is calling out for help n shit expecting her to help him bc they're like. not quite but almost #besties BUT princess just smiled n escaped herself a few seconds before spark fell into the water and was swept away elsewhere by waves. so then princess escapes with everyone else and she says that everyone is escaping safely WHEN that's a lie spark is either dying or already dead at this point

SO THEN spark drowns and cursed sf comes and saves him while dragging him deeper into the ocean in the process. there is very little sunlight there. SO HE'S STILL DEAD AT THIS POINT HOWEVER sf revives him and he's like "HUH WHAT HOW" bc he though he died n shit and now he suddenly wakes up deep in the ocean and SAFE and ALIVE and BREATHING so I assume anyone would be confused there fjdjfjsjjsj. ANYWAYS sf explains sm shit to him and casts another spell on him which turns him into a sea dragon and HE GETS COOL WATER POWER WOAHHHHH (they can't do much tho and they need to be replenished but STILL) and sf releases him and he's like "WAIT I HAVE QUESTIONS" but she already GONE

SO he's a sea dragon in the ocean now and he has so many questions like WTF IS HE GONNA DO ABT HIS REGULARS AND HIS ASSISTANT (cream soda cookie. my oc lol) is his main question BUT he's also curious abt sm other shit. so after a lil bit (not too long) he thinks "well what am I gonna do abt princess cookie" and he doesn't even have to put much thought into it and he's immediately filled with rage and aggression towards her like HE WANTS TO KILL HER FOR WHAT SHE DID (which is fair honestly. she did kill him first)

SO that's the basics of this au I could explain a lot more if I wanted to and there's a lot of "what if" scenarios you could ask abt in this au BUT yeah that's it for this post LOL HDKSIDJSKSK

8. How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

Neira: Usually soft-spoken, prudent and on the quiet side. Neira isn't one who likes to take the spotlight and that reflects in the way she talks, and yet there is something about her attitude that makes people listen. She is more of a listener than a talker and tries very hard to be cautious and considerate when talking.

Kalagna: Her voice higher pitched and not as harsh as one might expect, but reflects her cautious and stand-offish attitude. Very controlled, as she has learned not to let her tone give away her emotions, and rather monotonous most of the time, but not weak or quiet. She doesn't exactly know fancy vocabulary, but despite her origin she has always made an effort not to let her speech habits become vulgar.

Liam: I imagine him sounding pretty much like mHawke's canon voice, with a generally warm and fruity tone. He is neither overly proper or crude (he doesn't swear because Leandra would've killed him if the twins learned cusses from him), but he definitely gets more loose after a few years in Kirkwall (lookin at you, Varric). Oh yea and his speech pattern involves loads of horrible puns and (usually light-hearted) sarcasm.

Lilian: Her voice is sharper, a bit lower and much more resonant and strong than canon femHawke's voice. It carries and air of authority and confidence, and while she is usually forthright and blunt she is also quite charismatic. Doesn't shy away from swearing but doesn't to it excessively either

June: Her in-game voice (f. British) is pretty accurate I'd say, but more energetic and emotive. June has practically no brain-to-mouth filter which applies both to her language and her voice, so it always carries a lot of emotion. She's blunt and honest and somewhat crude since she doesn't bother with formalities, but isn't confrontational or unfriendly as a rule. She also has a tendency to swear. A lot.

Arari: Has a very low and rumbly voice, tries to sound friendly but somehow he ends up sounding mildly threatening anyway. He is usually very polite and surprisingly eloquent, although outside of formal contexts he gets very awkward and does not talk a whole lot. He could probably cuss if he wanted to but no one has heard him swear yet.

9. What does your OC’s bedroom look like?  His/her living area?

Neira is very minimalist and tidy. She didn't exactly have many belongings or much personal space in the Circle (nor in camp), so it's what she is used to, and while she does have a room in both the Royal Palace and Vigil's Keep she is out and about most of the time anyway, so she simply doesn't feel the need for a fancy living space.

Kalagna is similarly used to having very little, but as opposed to Neira she likes being able to afford things she couldn't have. She's always had to be practical and frugal, so she likes being able to afford having little banal trinkets not for their practical value but simply because she likes them. Her tents are still very functional, although she enjoys having splashes of bold colour in them -- some scraps of cloth, a dried flower, little things like that.

With both Hawkes I like to think that there is always evidence of their friends coming in and out of the Estate constantly; muddy footprints in the foyer, an unfinished game of cards on the table, a weapon forgotten on the mantel, cupboard doors left ajar from someone rummaging for food... It's a lot more with Liam though, because Lilian is more adamant about her personal space while Liam loves knowing his friends feel at home in his house.

June's room is a mess. It's partly a part of her whole rebelling-against-noble/mage circle expectations-attitude, but she also just likes having her space look lived in and feel distinctly hers. It's not like it's a complete jumble though, it's more of an organised chaos. Also note it may be a mess but it's not dirty -- in fact she'll throw hands if someone leaves crumbs on the bed or puts a jug near her books.

Arari is on the simple and tidy side again, but the way is room is set up is much more deliberate and thought-through than Neira's.

10. What does your OC keep in a special drawer?

wouldn't say special drawer, but Neira still her Warden's Oath amulet, as a reminder of her duty to the Wardens.

Kalagna still has the daggers she had when she first left Orzammar. She may not use them anymore but they had served her well, and she likes to keep them as a reminder of where she started.

I imagine both Hawkes to keep Leandra's amulet with them too, though it has a slightly different meaning for both of them. Liam additionally wears Bethany's (it takes him a while to consider it *his* instead of hers) most of the time, and while he knows it's probably a bad idea, it being an ancient artifact and all that, he keeps the Hawke's Key too (he's a sentimental person what can I say).

11. What is your OC’s relationship with his/her mother?

Neira doesn't remember much from before the Circle, but she does remember her mother vaguely and fondly.

Kalagna's doesn't exactly have a good relationship with her mother, and while part of her does still love her she still hates her for the neglect and abuse she and Rica had to endure.

Liam was very family-oriented in general and loved Leandra a lot, but even if he knew she did it out of grief her blaming him for his siblings' deaths hit him a lot harder than he'd let on (honestly Leandra's behaviour in general prolly had a much more negative impact on him than either of them realise). Still he always made an effort to keep her happy and safe, and he felt horribly guilty when she died.

Lilian wasn't as direct with her affection but just as protective of her in her own way, and while it did not break her as much as it did Liam her death still hit her hard.

June's relationship with her mother was.. strained, and one of the very few things she regrets is her giving her family so much grief before being brought to the Circle. They weren't on good terms for a long time, avoiding any contact with them even after the mage rebellion, and didn't reconcile until some time after the events of Inquisition. They're still not close, but at leas they are on neutral terms.

Arari is on good terms with his parents, but hasn't been in contact with them for some time.

19. What does your OC think of children- either in general or about having them?

Neira is a little unsure how to handle children, but seems to be decent enough with them. They don't exactly flock to her but they don't seem to dislike her either, which is as much as she could hope. She never really considered having children of her own, and while she is not opposed to the idea it isn't likely to happen.

For the longest time Kalagna never even considered thinking about children, until some time after getting together with Alistair. She has to admit there is some appeal to the thought, and part of her does wonder how having a family would be like, but with them both being Grey Wardens (meaning they aren't exactly the most equipped for family life in several ways) it is unlikely to happen anyway so she doesn't think about it too much. In general, she has very little experience handing children, but she tries orienting herself at how Rica treated her when she was younger when interacting with them, though she is a little clumsy in her efforts.

Liam is very fond of children and good at handling them too, after all he has a lot of experience looking after the twins, and he's always wanted to have a family of his own at some point. In fact, probably his one worry when he realised he was bi was "If I end up with a man I can't have children", but I mean, in the timeline where he survives he's got a lovely husband and daughter, so,,,

Lilian is surprisingly gentle with children too, in her own stern, gruff way, and incredibly protective of them. She hasn't really thought about having kids of her own though.

If it's about entertaining children June has absolutely no problem with it. She will gladly put on a magic show, arrange competitions, tell them (slightly inappropriate) stories, or plot pranks with them. If it's about taking care of children, especially younger ones, that's a little too much to ask. She will get incredibly nervous and insecure because "fuck, I'm actually responsible for these buggers, what if I fuck up??". She also definitely doesn't consider having children in the near future.

Arari has a soft spot for children but is somewhat insecure about them because he knows a lot of people are suspicious of him, but while they do seem to be somewhat intimidated by him as well children also tend to be drawn to him somehow?? They are certainly a lot more open and sincere than a lot of adults when approaching him, which is something he appreciates. He is always worried about accidentally hurting them so he is extra gentle with kids, and he could certainly imagine having a family of his own at some point.

Neira's actions are mostly based on her ideals and desire to help, but her actual thought process is still very rational and practical overall.

Kalagna learned early that she cannot afford to let sentiment get in the way, she is always focused on functionality and practical truths.

Liam is much more guided by his heart, in that most of his decisions stem from how his feelings towards any given situation/conflict ect. He believes in basic human decency and doesn't have any strict moral code he follows, so he'll just judge a situation then and there.

Lilian has very strong opinions and principles that are the basis of how she makes decisions, so that probably counts as heart over head?

June I'm not really sure? Technically she is straight-forward and practical, in the sense that she makes decisions based on whatever appears to be the most logical to her at any given time, but at the same time her logic is largely based on personal bias and opinions. Giant hole in the sky? What are we waiting for let's go fix it right now. Wardens doing crazy blood sacrifices? Fuck those maniacs they are dangerous (and I am also pissed because I and my friends almost got killed), exile them. These people are freezing to death and we have spare resources? Yea sure we're going to help them.

Ari, while generally trying to help as best as he can, is still very analytical and strategical in his though-process, and his decisions are usually based on pragmatism and diplomacy.

Neira: Wood smoke - as terrifying as the Blight was, she has a lot of fond memories of the comparably calm nights in camp with her traveling companions, and the smell of a campfire is one she always finds very calming

Kalagna: "Night" - idk if that makes sense, but y'know how it kind of smells a certain way during the night? Anyway, I imagine it was nighttime when Kala left Orzammar for the first time, and the scent just stuck with her

Liam: Leather balm - disregarding nostalgia, the smell is just very pleasant to him, plus tending to his gear is something he finds relaxing to do

Lilian: Vanilla - she has a secret sweet tooth and vanilla will never not make her mouth water

Kalagna: Birds - no any one bird in particular, though she is partial to songbirds. The fact that they fly is really scary and odd and fascinating to her, and there is just something about them she adores. Plus songbirds simply sound lovely

Liam: Dogs - the Fereldan in him has a soft spot for Mabari, but all dogs are good and deserving of love and belly rubs

Lilian: Cats - they are independent ferocious little beasts who do what they want and she very much approves of that sort of attitude. Also they are adorable and soft

June: Dracolisks - she fell in love with them instantly. They are badass, hardy, independent, and love chin scritches; perfect all around. June's an animal person in general but dracolisks have her entire heart.

Considering many of my ocs have not one world where they all interact with each other unless they're intertwined with their individual backstories somehow or I have story ideas for a group of ocs, almost all my ocs don't actually know each other in their canons.
